I haven’t seen anyone talk about this, which makes me think it isn’t being reported, but right now the largest protest for Palestine in the history of the United States is taking place in Washington DC. Thousands turned up to show their solidarity for Palestine and to call for a ceasefire.

Look at this, they won’t be able to ignore us for much longer.

TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.

Please I need to see y’all talking about this and being loud for Palestine.

there are many different ways to help, many different ways to act.

if there are reasons you can’t go to a protest or take a week off work, there may be other actions that you can take, things that you can do. don’t be too hard on yourself for what you can’t do.

but find those things, the things you can do, and stick with them, do them with a passion. channel the grief and the rage and the frustration you feel into those actions. focus on them.

find ways to do something every day, even if it’s small.

small actions add up. small action is better than no action. our collective actions add up.

we will win this. Palestine will be free.

They only blocked the bill because the package didn’t include aid to Ukraine, it’s a small step but it’s still a step.

In the meantime, we need to keep sharing, posting, and calling or messaging our reps. Even just talking about it with people goes a long way to spreading the word of what Israel is doing.
