I didn’t start identifying as queer so I could be diagnosed with a label. I’m not an animal being classified under a biological term, a taxonomic group which has a criteria so rigid it will only be changed with mind blowing biological evidence, only to be met with criticism and doubt still. These are feelings, language and culture.
Feelings can be straightforward, such as happy, feelings can be charged with layers and layers of experiences and years of history behind them, such as anger, and feelings can be conflicting or not quite fit with any known word. That’s how people make up new words based on old, well known concepts, such as bittersweet. Gender and attraction are feelings.
Language evolves, yes, but not in the same way as animals. It’s not coincidence after coincidence and survival of the fittest. Most of the time, it’s forced, purposeful changes. Take the word ‘okay’ — once upon a time a small group thought the feeling they were trying to communicate wasn’t properly explained with the phrase ‘all correct.’ People began to misspell it ironically as ‘orl korrect’, which was shortened to ‘OK’. A few decades later, ‘okay’ came about, because ‘OK’ wasn’t communicating what people wanted anymore. Language is changed and added to when someone wants something to be known and has no current way of articulating it. Sometimes it’s ridiculed, such as some slang, different dialects, and English variations. Gender and attraction are expressed through language because it’s a feeling.
Culture should be viewed through the lens of an anthropologist — someone who studies humanity. Witness without judgment people using whatever confusing and contradictory labels they like, if any at all, and together we can study those behaviours to discover why they bring such comfort. After all, you can’t properly study the behaviour of people who you’re forcing to act a certain way. Gender is a part of culture because of it’s significant role in language.
Queerness should not be about rigid criteria, exclusion, or checklists. It’s a beautiful, colourful feeling on a spectrum which can only be expressed through words in an attempt to summarise it.
I’d like to draw specific attention to the following:
Identities outside the binary, such as bigender people.
Contrasting identities, such as a woman who experiences gay love for men.
New and uncommon identities, such as xenogenders.
The use of the term ‘non-men’, which chooses to describe lesbian identities in relation to the exclusion of men instead of in relation to a unique, feminine love of women. Being a lesbian is least of all about men, so I don’t see why it should be defined in relation to them.
The arguments against such identities are recycled queerphobia. Men who are also lesbians—and others who don’t neatly fit into binary labels—do not need to pick a side, just like bisexual people don’t. Neopronoun users aren’t cisgender attention seekers trying to be special, just like the non-binary people attacked with those words or the binary transgender people before them. These are just some of the awful things I’ve heard about the less accepted side of our community.
Such people, including myself, may not be practicing queerness in a way well-known by the mainstream, but it should be expected that as more and more identities become common, more are discovered. If you want to take a torch into the darkness to welcome the people you know are hiding there, expect to see an entire world you were blinded to.

i am a fan of the dream smp but i dont post about it and i have most of the fanbase on here blocked from ye olden days. i dont like interacting with the fandom other than fanart so dont expect that from me if ur blocked nothing personal just how it is
i'm a writer. in theory. mostly i liveblog and shitpost and reblog art but occasionally i will upload my own art or writing
i do not tag for shipping mostly because i am absolute dogshit at remembering. i am an adult and i don't shy away from reblogging suggestive or the occasional nsfw post, but usually they're tagged under #suggestive or #nsft.
i am a beginner artist! please be nice to me :') i use krita
for hc s10 i'll be maining grian, joel, scar, and etho, but as of right now i am also caught up on mumbo, iskall, gem, zombiecleo, and i'm trying to slowly work my way through other people's povs

If you still wanna rant! Here are some questions, no pressure to answer any or all :)
- Funniest innerworld experience/memory?
- Which two alters are the most different? (Has one fronted after the other and just done a 180? (Food pref, talking to someone, clothes, interest, etc)
- Do you have subsystems? What are they like?
- How does gender differ in your system? If at all?
- Do you have non human alters? What are they like?
- Animal alters?
- Object alters even?
- Any other fun facts you wanna share?
Again no pressure to answer any or all! I understand not wanting to disclose bc of privacy or just not wanting to! Do what you are comfortable with <3 but I totally understand the want to just rant endlessly about your system (we do it all the time)
- Our funniest innerworld experience is Mary saying she’s gonna shove her foot up Sal’s ass and not in a way he’d like😭
- Pur two alters that I would say are the most different are Aurora and Logan. Logan is gay and Aurora is lesbian, they constantly get into debates, you know.
- From the best of our knowledge we do not have a subsystem :) I also think subsystems are a DID thing and we don’t know if we have DID or OSDD lol
- Omg there is sooo much variety when it comes to gender in our system. We have xenogender users, neopronouns users, cisgender, trans-presenting, non-binary, etc!
- We do have non-human alters! We have an angel named Ivory (introject lol) and she’s sooo sweet and we love her. There’s also Squink who is also an introject who’s a mix of a squid and an octopus. One of our DNI alters is also non-human but I won’t go into detail bc yk, DNI.
- Animal alters, yes! Apparently there’s an axolotl up here lol.
- We do have a few object alters! We have one whose source is a magic wand, a music note, a song, etc.
- Fun fact of the day: Noah and Logan have been together for two years now! :3 wanted to share this bc Valentine’s Day <3

Non-Dysphoric Trendercoric
Tumblr media
If you don't know what Trendercoric is, the definition is below.
Trendercoric: a coric xenogender related to trendercore. It is based on the reclamation of the term "transtrender" which has been used to demean non-binary, xenic, and gender non-conforming individuals, neopronoun users, non-dysphoric trans individuals, and many others. Trendercore as an aesthetic revolves around bright colors, self-love, inclusivity, and the use of things such as pride flags, pronoun pins, dyed hair, and other alternative aesthetics.
.
This term was originally posted on February 13th, 2022. It was posted along with the HD Trendercoric flag, and other types of dysphoria Trendercoric flags.
Anyone who who is non-dysphoric and Trendercoric can use this, minus if you're cis/transn't individuals (anyone who doesn't ID as trans/nonbinary or generally just aren't 100% (percent) cisgender).
Tumblr media
[ID] A flag with 9 horizontal stripes. The top, fifth, and last stripes are a medium size, the fourth and sixth stripes are the skinniest, and the other four are the largest. The colors from top to bottom are: dark red, guardsman red, peachy pink, white, indigo, white, cyan, blueish green, napier green. [/End ID]
[ID] A DNI (do not interact) banner with a very faded galaxy background. On the left of the banner there’s a flag as with a rounded side, the circle inside it showing an image of a cone tornado at the end of a road, the flag being the (General) Neurodivergent flag. The rest of the image is filled with white text that reads: “DNI (Do Not Interact). Against Good Faith Self Identification Or “Contradictory” Identities, Transmed, Sysmed, Group Arospec under Acespec, Anti-Educated Self-Dx, Call Mspec identities “Bispec”, Anti-Alterhuman, Anti-Otherkin, Anti-Chronosian, Against the term Transandromisia (or similar terms), Anti Aldernic, Anti-Altersex, Pro-Contact harmful paras, TransID,  Anti-Anti, Proship, “Consang”, Anti-SFW Agere, Demonize Cluster B disorders, Anti-BLM, Anti-ACAB” [/End ID]

I already said this on my channel, but I would like to make it clear here as well:
I believe policing people's identities does more harm than good and I will not stand for it.
Let people identify as whatever feels the most comfortable to them. If it makes them happier and doesn't hurt anyone then it literally doesn't affect you and you have no right to comment on it.
Yes, I'm talking about bi-lesbians. I am a cisgender lesbian, but I support gender fuckery. I welcome all he/him lesbians, bi-lesbians, neopronoun users, and anyone else who doesn't fit into the boxes of gender and sexuality that society is trying to enforce. That's what being queer is about and everyone deserves a safe space.
I respect your opinion if you respect mine. But if this post upset you, feel free to unfollow, block, or 'call me out'. I am not sorry for standing up for my queer peers.

I saw someone id as a transmasculine cis woman, how would that work?
they could be a dysphoric cis individual (DCI), cissex transgender (cistransen) or transsex cisgender (transcisen) person, varsexgender.
check this definition from the user neopronouns and these definitions from BMPF.
that said, I will explain a bit. GNC (gender non-conforming) people, including cis people, can go through HRT (hormone replacement therapy) or mastectomy, women may use testosterone.
a transsex cisgender individual, for example, could use transmasculinity to express their corporeal/social transition or body plan, while still experiencing their assigned gender.
a transgender cissex individual could be pronoun/name/language non-conforming (i.e. preferring masculine terms, being crossnominal, crosspronominal, or transnominal/transpronominal) while not willing to medically transition (transine).
one could have a masculine-female gender identity (some use azurgirl) or alignment (such as phoeselenian). this example could be a form of integragender (cistrans) experience. as a result, someone can have a masculine-female sex identity/alignment (mulladic/lunaradic (selenadic/seleniadic) phoebadic (or phoebiadic?))
another way is being evenic/cusper. however these are only forms of explaining/exemplifying how they could feel. this could be more complex than that that someone could be different.
edit: other common reasons are multigender, system member plurality (psychological), and intersexness

even when i was trans (“identified as trans” in tra speak), and actively engaging w members of my community at the youth lgbt center, i picked up on a lot of contradictions; this is presumably due to various gender-concepts not being compatible with each other, but still accepted as true and coexistent.
some trans boys found it hard to accept new people with neopronouns (or, in some cases, non-binary people in general) because they found it offensive to their own identity, which was fundamentally rooted in the concept of binary gender, in their eyes.
other trans boys viewed themselves as male *and* non-binary, hinting at a duality of their gender. other trans boys (‘binary’ ones) found this also invalidating, because the concept of being non-binary at all was invalidating, at first. it suggested that someone could exist outside of a box. and then non-binary people proved to the transmedicalists that they were dysphoric, that they were miserable, and received the seal of medical approval from harvard (or wherever)—and were thereby validated, and made into another box, an in-between box of other kinds of pronoun users.
some people, such as the enbies, claimed to have no gender at all; this would ordinarily contradict the very concept that one must necessarily have a gender identity (soul gender) at all, but was ultimately ratified by an amendment to gender theory—the very absence of gender identity must be, in itself, it’s own gender identity. this made being literally ‘genderless’ taxonomically and etymologically inescapable; you could only be genderless insofar as you held a label of being ‘genderless’, and it was this label—and the mental backflips and caveats it took in order for it to be included in gender ideology—that validated you. you must identify in order to be. you could not be genderless without wishing in some way to escape your sex, as non-binary identities were held under the trans umbrella. one binary turned into another. the first was male and female, the second was cisgender and transgender. you must love your gender (be cis), or you must hate your gender (be trans). you must be a willing participant or a non-willing one.
i asked someone once what their gender identity was, and they said they were intersex. it was the only answer they would give me. i never found out their preferred pronouns.
this confused me—intersex wasn’t a gender identity, i thought, it was a material reality. it must exist alongside a soul gender in order for me to understand it—in order for it to make conceptual sense. i didn’t realize it at the time, but i had run into an inescapable truth that it all boils down to. sex is what makes us. it was the reason i chose to transition, and (based on what many others had shared with me about their own experiences) presumably the reason that most transitioned. a persistent discomfort with one’s material self, with their sex—caused either by a physical sense of insecurity/dysphoria or the social implications placed on one by one’s sex—turns into a need to escape said sex, to become something different. they had every reason to want to escape their box, to shed undesired skin and to become something new. what i fail to understand is why one would leave one box and go to another, when they could instead remain outside of those boxes. why new boxes were created to account for new kinds of discomfort. because although we were escaping our oppression, we were also denying ourselves liberation. we needed to become in order to be. that is just another kind of depression.

I’m so freaked out to start hrt ofc I’m not gonna tag this cause I don’t want no terf to be like “ermmm actually this is a sign you are just a tomboy” or a 28729292 neopronouns user tucute to be like “ermmm actually you don’t need hrt to be a man you are freaking valid dood” <—— which is not false by any means. But I’ve been wanting this for years and years. But it’s finally weighing on me and I just want to scream but then I remember the sound of my voice. And that makes me desperate for hrt. Desperate. But it’s going to be so hard, I have to get a low does because I make such a beautiful girl such a good daughter. God forbid she gets indoctrinated to the liberal masses oh fucking no!!!! It’s not like he was in the play ground at 10 years old desperately trying to fit in with the other boys no no you dragged her away by the arm because they’re “bad influences”. 11 to 12 year old cisgender boys are bad influences huh? I don’t know im tired and it’s ironic that im using this “fembrained” app to write about this. I deleted my Reddit bc of my ex stalking me (hi if you’re reading this) and 4chan would doxx me for a rant like this. The notes app is fembrained too, and I feel better when this is posted somewhere then locked away. But it’s strange that I’d still not have the masses see this, and they won’t. Which is really comforting in this feminine website. Whatever maybe some guy or girl can look at this years later, somehow find it idk, and be like “he’s just like me Fr” or whatever slang they’ll have then. I hope i look back on this with a pretty trans girl by my side and good situation with my parents. If not then a decent haircut? I wish I had my family to confide me in this but they’ll say flat out no and send me to the ward. I really wish I could confide in my therapist without her restricting my access. I wish someone would understand. I have trans friends and less on hrt but they wouldn’t want to hear me bicker and complain. I hope I find a cute trans girl to confide in. I want to cry but that’s gay. I don’t have time for pride. I want reassurance. My chest hurts

i don't care what anyone says, neopronouns are dumb and i refuse to use them. if i see anyone on CS with neos in their sig i just avoid them altogether. don't even try to call me any of your "phobic" buzzwords, i am transgender and neurodivergent, and i think neo identities are a fucking joke and only serve to make us look bad. half of neo users are cisgender people who just want to feel special and join the "alphabet mafia club" and the other half do it for fun and still expect you to use them.

Ayy, now that I'm not terrified of my own identity and its community, I can talk about everything I've wanted to talk about for the past few months.
So here's my hot take on aro/aces (and all other funky people who defy social norms, you go guys) being in the community. Side note: I'll be referring to aspecs as aro/ace because it makes sense in my mind lmao. When I say this, I'm 100% percent including all the other labels as well) (also also sidenote: I kinda spiral into a semi-different conversation lmao oops)
So I came across a post that basically said aro/aces should have their own community because, while their problems overlap, they still don't know what it feels like to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (might I mention they're against mspec labels).
But like, that's not the point of the community. It's not a contest of who's the most opressed. It's a safe place for anyone who doesn't feel safe in this cisgendered, heterosexual, non aro/ace world, whether that be mentally or physically.
The idea that you have to be physically harmed to be accepted in the community is bullshit, and more people should talk about this.
Because the mental harm that is put on us is alarming. We're taught from a young age that we have to get married or we won't be happy. We have to have sex or we won't be happy. Unless you follow our standards, you won't be happy.
My own friend called me abnormal and weird, hinted to the fact that I'm broken because I don't feel romantic attraction, or "normal" attraction. And that's a big reason I never searched for my identity. I wanted to stop existing because, I can't feel romantic attraction, therefore I can't be happy. I can't experience the world properly, or so I thought at the time.
And, can I just address the idea that people choose to be aro/ace? I don't choose to not be romantically attracted to people, it's just my brain decided "no❤" and that was that.
So I said all that to say: fuck you guys who believe we shouldn't be part of "your" community. As someone who is aromantic, pansexual, and demigirl, I have been on the receiving end of "you shouldn't be in this community waa waa", and it fucking sucks.
The community used to be L, G, B, and T, but that was because others were silenced. Now that we have our voices, it's much more than that.
Whether someone is lesbian, gay, bi, or trans; nonbinary, agender, demigender, or bigender; asexual, aromantic, demisexual, or lithromantic; pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, or polyamorous; a neopronoun user or she/he/they, they're fucking welcomed, and anyone who says otherwise is a fucking idiot sandwich.
...wow that made a turn real fuckin' quick oops sorry fellas.

Could you define neopronouns for me? I'm really confused with how they work and I want to make sure I'm educated because my friend recently came out to me and uses neopronouns. As someone who is cisgender and straight I want to be as supportive as possible toward my friend and anyone else who uses neopronouns. Thank you so much for educating me!
hey, i’m happy to help!! i’m glad you want to learn more so you can better support your friend, feel free to ask any other questions you have!
‘neopronoun’ is a general term for any third-person pronoun that is not he, she, they, or it. they range from pronouns like thon/thons and e/em, coined in the late 1800s, to ve/ver and e/em, coined in the 1980s, to the many sets coined in the mogai community from 2014 to now! there are some subsets of neopronouns, such as nounself pronouns and emojipronouns, but for now i’ll just talk about neopronouns in general.
people may use neopronouns for a variety of reasons, but many of us are nonbinary people who either dislike using they/them pronouns or feel more comfortable using a set of neopronouns than using they/them. this could be due to the dysphoria that using they/them causes, the euphoria that using neopronouns causes, the fact that neopronouns are very obviously not binary, liking how a set of neopronouns rolls off the tongue or looks in text, etc.
there are so many neopronouns that it’s really not possible to learn every single set, but you can learn some of the more common ones if you’d like to be prepared to encounter more neopronoun users. for example, practice with pronouns can help you learn ze/zir, ze/hir, ey/em, ve/ver, ne/nem, or xe/xem! don’t stress too much about learning a ton of neopronouns - i recommend just learning how to use them as you encounter them.
overall, just be accepting and receptive! you seem like you want to be a good ally, which means you’re already on the right track. you may not 100% understand why someone might use the pronouns they do, but as long as you respect them and use their pronouns, you’re good!
