how to be more attractive
Tumblr media
don't be too needy let them come to you, we don't chase, we attract
smell good always!! use body sprays and perfumes behind your ears, neck and wrists (try and find your perfect scent, mine is vanilla)
find a style that suits your figure then show it off, pinterest is helpful for this
gold hoops and gold jewelry, it makes you look hot and comfortable
eye contact is key!
cut your hair different once in a while, try a new style, it makes people notice you more
be teasing in a nice way (make sure they know that you're kidding and take it well)
clear lip gloss, brows brushed up and shaped, mascara, and highlighter in the corner of your eyes, trust me
have good posture, don't slouch
change your mindset, think of yourself as attractive (fake it till you make it)

Cleaning Thrifted Fabric
Tumblr media
Nobody asked for this but I recently acquired a whole lot of fabric from my great aunt (love her so much she's the best) and I just went through this whole process so I figured I'd share what I do for clean fresh smelling thrifted fabric.
The fabric I got was partially stuff she had stored away for a long time and partially stuff from garage sales so while I wasn't necessarily worried about bugs, I like to live on the safe side when it comes to potentially contaminating the rest of my fabric stash. So before doing anything else with the fabric, I like to put it in extreme temperatures, hot or cold, to kill off any bugs or bactera that could be on the material, and unfortunately I do not have the funds for my own personal fabric freezer (i dont like putting it next to my frozen food) so here's what I do instead.
After going through everything, I throw all the material into one garbage bag (I think it works better when everything's unfolded) and squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible before tying it off. The goal is to be as close to an air tight seal as possible. And then I chuck the whole thing into my car for a about a week. This only really works in the summer and winter when the temperatures are more extreme (I should also note my car sits outside so it gets really hot with the direct sunlight hitting it and really cold on winter nights). Technically speaking, I think you're actually supposed to do it a few times (as in letting it get back to room temperature and then doing it again) but I didn't do that because the car cools down overnight anyways. When the fabric has been sufficiently 'baked' it's time to move onto step two.
This next step tackles the musty smell that thrifted fabric and clothes can have when you first get them. Just washing them in the washing machine doesn't normally do much good on getting rid of it, so after getting the bag of fabric back inside, I clean out my bathtub and prepare to soak them. If you only have a few pieces of fabric to work with you can also do this step in a bucket or large pot but i definitely needed the full tub for this batch. I partially fill the tub up with warm water (just enough to mostly cover the material), and add about a cup of white vinager and liberally sprinkle baking soda on top, i dont have exact measurements here we just go by vibes lol.
(It doesn't really matter which brand you use but here's the ones I used this time)
Tumblr media
And finally add your material. Please please be aware that the dye on the material can bleed quite a bit and stain the other fabrics, so if this is something that'll be an issue, do this in a few batches separated by color. I notice the biggest issue with the red dyes.
Make sure everything is thoroughly soaked and leave sit for an hour. I come back to it once or twice to move things around and make sure everything is soaking evenly. It won't hurt the fabric if you leave it sitting for longer, you can even leave it overnight if you want to, but an hour was plenty long enough for my purposes.
Tumblr media
Finally, wash and dry as normal and you have perfectly clean, bug free, fresh smelling, fabric (or clothes) ready for your next project!

Btw, this is what editing on this paper has been like (Patreon)
#In other words: Hell#Lol#Normally I wouldn't show my process but I Must drag this paper it is So bad#Plus you can see some of the other little tricks I do! I leave things mo~stly alone but I will sometimes cheat where I can!#I'll also reconstruct if something can't be saved or if I just forgot to draw something on paper lol - or if I ran out of room#Ughhhh these edits took foreverrrrrr#I did some quick math on it somewhat recently actually#An average single edit takes ~4 minutes of continuous work#Averaged between the low of a couple minutes and high of getting into double digits#There was a whole thing about each page having approx. 30 doodles and each doodle being 4mins of editing and each set being 6 doodles etc. e#Basically I put a lot of time into my art and the majority of that isn't even drawing lol#I have Got to find a way to flip that metric...#But with these - these Easily averaged into the double digits each#It's mostly cleaning - stray lines don't take much time at all! Even reconstruction isn't bad#But for whatever reason this paper just Textures Horribly#Leave my blank spaces blank! I don't want toning there!#You can even see! I didn't leave behind all that many guidelines! It was just the paper being awful!#Some of it's still there if you tip your screen at certain angles#I can't because - broken hinge lol - so I mostly had to guess where to hit#Ugh. I'm just glad I'm finally done with this paper#I miss Norcom so bad :( I haven't been able to track down a distributor for years now

A little tip to my fellow trans folks who need to secretly wash your binder. I found this out because I have transphobic parents so I cant hand wash it and air dry. Wash it as a delicate. if your washer/dryer was a delicates setting wash it on that. it usually uses cold or room temp water with like a slower spin. I just go and wash my jeans and my joint braces so it's not just my binder(s) and then put it on a delicates dry which is the same it's a lower temp and a lighter tumble thing. so yeah! there's my thing that I learned and I thought it might help other people in my situation :)))

Any shedding tips? It's so difficult to brush bunnies especially when they begin to recognise brushy time and preemptively flick their legs at you.
Tbh my bunnies are decent about this but I never pick my rabbits up for this bc they will start getting hella freaked out way more than necessary. So I get them in the carrier (takes a little cornering them in the pen and waiting for them to resign and walk in) then transport them to a higher surface like a desk with a towel on it and let them walk out onto the desk before I either brush or clip nails.
I get those bunny safe cleaning wet wipes (I think the brand was "Full Cheeks") and wipe the bunnies down first THEN brush or comb. You get a lot less hair floating everywhere and you get a lot more loose fur out. I know the bunnies hate it so I do this to just get as much possible out in one sitting and reward after with treats
Alternatively if you brush them while they are on the ground or resting, if you have a high reward treat like a tiny piece of fruit you can start doing positive associations by holding out the brush and rewarding when they touch it and moving forward rewarding when they let you touch it to their head or back or so on. Hopefully it'll result in them associating brush time with something positive

Good Girls Guide To: Periods
As a woman, periods are inevitable. so here’s my advice on how to make them more bearable.
Tumblr media
WARNING: Pads and tampons will be the only methods discussed. For further information on other methods please use a trusted source :)
1. Change your pad/tampon.
I know it seems like common sense to those used to it but to beginners it might not seem as straightforward.
Changing your pad and tampon every few hours is recommended so bacteria doesn’t build up and you don’t get an infection. Bacteria can build up no matter how heavy the flow so even if there isn’t anything visible there could still be something there.
Gynecologists recommend changing pads every 3-4 hours (depending on how heavy your flow is) and tampons every 4-8 hours. The heavier your flow, the more you should change them.
2. Swimming
Swimming on your period can be complicated. I’ve had my period for years and it still confuses me sometimes.
Using a pad while swimming is a big nono. When water gets into a pad it absorbs liquid and if it absorbs the water, there will be no room for blood essentially making it useless.
If you are swimming on your period, tampons are the way to go.
And no. Despite popular belief your period will not fully halt in water. While submerged, your period will stop because of water pressure but as soon as your body leaves the water it’s a free moment.
3. Sleeping
Absolutely do not sleep in a tampon. Sleeping a tampon is a high risk factor of Toxic Shock Syndrome. (https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/toxic-shock-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20355384 more on that here)
Pads are more of a safe and, in my opinion, comfortable option.
4. Pads vs. Tampons
A big question for beginners is which should I use? I personally prefer pads for everyday use because they’re more comfortable for me.
Tampons are better for people who do things such as dance, workout, or swim.
Pads are easier to use while tampons are more of an advanced.
If you’re a beginner I recommend pads but see what makes you more comfortable.
5. Odor and Smell
If you smell yourself while on your period and wonder, “Oh my god can they smell me too?” 99% of the time, no they can’t.
Think about it. Have you ever been sitting in a room and randomly smell another woman? No? Then they most likely won’t smell you.
This is another reason why changing your pad/tampon is suuuuuper important. If you don’t change your pad/tampon, odor can and will become a problem eventually.
6. Cramps
I’m one of the lucky few who don’t suffer from extreme period cramps but I do understand them. Menstrual cramps happen when a chemical called prostaglandin makes your uterus tighten up. Although there is no way to stop them, there are ways to prevent them.
- Food: Foods such as water, fruits, dairy, and dark chocolate can help relieve period cramps.
- Hot Packs: Using a heating pad or hot packs can also help relieve period cramps.
- Exercise: I know, getting up and doing something is probably the last thing you want to do. But exercising is great at helping relieve menstrual pain.
- Ibuprofen: Pretty self explanatory.
Remember, your period is a blessing even though it doesn’t seem like it. Embrace it while it lasts :)
Thank you for reading and if you have any further questions don’t be afraid to ask!! 🤍

drinking tea, warm milk or even milk tea makes me a little sleepy so you should try it ! so does reading

try to keep your room cold you will feel so good when you sleep trust me
tips:
really good tip is make sure to plan your meals the day before trust me it helps a lot with time management, and you should stop eating take out or fast food all the time.
keep a personal water bottle so you dont get lost between the plastic water bottles, and it reminds you to drink water so thats a win-win
dove, vaseline, baby johnson and nivea are the best affordable products for my body i cant stop using them
literally make a vison board on pinterest and fill all your social media with positive creators, and how you want your life to turn out it helps, also try to make your screen time at least at 8 hours a day which is really high actually but from there try and go down, live life be aware of your surrounding

how to organize your room and keep it that way
a lot of people think of their rooms as just a place to dump stuff, but that's not the case! so here are a few tips on how to keep your room clean. it's not just for super organized people either; these are things anyone can do.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-have a dump bin
have a place to throw things like clothes/extra items you have/anything you want to put away in the moment but will put away later. this keeps stuff off of your floor.
-sleep on top of your covers
put a blanket at the bottom of your bed instead and use that. this is so you don't have to make your bed every single morning to keep it looking decent.
-have a place to put all your papers
have a spot to put school notes, receipts, volunteer forms, coupons, anything you want to keep in a safe spot. it's hard to organize papers if you don't have a place to put them! you can get some cute dividers from staples/walmart/target, wherever. hanging folders also help keep things tidy.
-have garbage/recycling bins
kind of an uncommon tip, but yeah. bigger ones work better because they can hold more before you have to empty them. not huge but big enough so that you don't have to empty them all the time. set a time to empty the bins so it doesn't just accumulate and it looks nicer.
-use under-bed storage
this one is super important! have a bunch of bins/bags under your bed if you can to hold things you want to keep but don't know where to put. like extra bags/makeup etc.
-group "like" items
if you have drawers/bins, have a different category for each drawer/bin. plastic bins with different compartments like from walmart or ikea work really well for this.
-use hangers
this helps you avoid just throwing clothes on your floor or bed. you just hang whatever it is up and deal with it later (more on that in a sec). this works for bags too!
-purge regularly
dedicate some time each week to cleaning out your dump bin and putting stuff on your hangers away. set a reminder on your phone or put it in your planner to remember.

There was rust on our chrome medicine cabinet (not our cabinet choice, it was here when we moved in). Tried removing with various cleaning sprays, didn't work. Tried aluminium foil: OMG IT WORKED. Scrunched a small ball of foil and scrubbed, rust gone! 🤯
