Why Artists Are Turning to Code for Stillness | The Way of Code & Generative Art
A still from the interactive response to the prompt “What if it was weightless?” — where sound, motion, and silence become an invitation to simply be. We often think of coding as something reserved for engineers—a world of syntax, logic, and technical skill. But with tools like artificial intelligence, the doors are opening. Today, even those of us who don’t identify as coders can explore…

How to Dress your Character
Tumblr media
A Guide to Dress Codes
When attending an event, it's essential to understand the dress code—and know when to bend the rules.
White tie: White tie is a formal dress code typically reserved for galas and state dinners. For men, swap your black tie dinner jacket for a single-breasted tailcoat and a wing-collar white shirt with mother of pearl shirt studs. You'll also need a white bowtie and a white vest. If you want to go ultra-traditional, you can lace up your black patent leather shoes with black ribbon. For women, it's time to break out the floor-length ball gown and long gloves.
Black tie: Black tie is a formal dress code common for formal evening events. Traditional black tie for men entails a single- or double-breasted dinner jacket and matching trousers worn with a pleated white dress shirt with a turndown-collar. It's generally fine to veer slightly from the black tuxedo: More creative black tie options include midnight blue tuxedos and white dinner jackets. Finish the look with cufflinks, a black bow tie, a white pocket square, black patent leather shoes, and black dress socks. Cummerbunds (waist coverings) and vests are optional—just don't wear them together. The black tie dress code for women is a little more flexible: You'll want a knee-length to floor-length evening dress. Accessorize with heels or flat dress shoes, a clutch, and minimal jewelry.
Black tie optional: When an invitation says "black tie optional," the expectation is that you'll either wear black-tie attire or something similar but a little more relaxed—like a dark suit or elegant cocktail dress.
Cocktail attire: Cocktail attire, also known as semi-formal attire, is the style of clothing you'll wear to evening events like fundraisers and weddings. Cocktail dress code involves casual suits and dress shirts for men. Stick to wool suits in dark colors in winter; for summertime and outdoor cocktail events, you can wear a light-colored suit in a breathable material like seersucker or linen. Oxfords, loafers, and brogues are acceptable footwear choices. A cocktail dress is fancier than a sundress but more casual than an evening gown. When in doubt, go for the classic little black dress. Not wearing a dress? Go for a dark suit or dressy separates.
Business casual: Business casual doesn’t necessarily mean casual—what it actually means is that you don’t have to wear a suit and tie. Business casual workwear usually includes a collared shirt (button-up or polo shirt) or sweater on top, and dress pants, khakis, chinos, or a pencil skirt on the bottom. You may also wish to add a blazer or sport coat, but you don’t necessarily need a custom-tailored suit jacket. Shoes should be closed-toe and professional, whether you choose boots, heels, flats, loafers, mules, or oxfords.
Dressy casual: Dressy casual, also known as “smart casual,” is an upgraded version of casualwear, generally more suited to job interviews, client meetings, and casual nighttime events. For a dressy casual dress code, break out trendier pieces, like jumpsuits, blazers, and high-end footwear. Instead of T-shirts, opt for button-downs and blouses.
Casual: Casual attire is the least restrictive dress code, but this doesn’t mean you should dress quite as casually as you would at home. Jeans and T-shirts in solid colors are okay, but stay away from graphic tees, flip-flops, and anything ripped or stained. Depending on the season, you may want to wear full-coverage shorts or a casual sundress. Casual dress codes are typical for low-key and outdoor events.

:-"We make a great pair, really" Goofy lovers prompts-:
(Alright, alright, no one's done this before(till I know) so im about to make history y'all!!! lets do this ;)
By @me-writes-prompts
"Why aren't we making out yet? We're 5 minutes into an argument, 5 minutes! Goodness."
Playing pranks on each other that they know will get the other one absolutely boiling and they can't be more thrilled for it
When they both have the habit of talking during movies and literally having an hour long discussions about a character they both hated
"You look so hot today, babe." "Hotter than yesterday?" "Hotter than yesterday."
Always finding ways to have fun i.e wearing costumes and playing around, hosting parties.
"If we were to fight, like in a fight fight, who do you think would win?" "Obviously, me. You would admit defeat the moment I punch you." "Hey, I'm not that easy!" "Oh, yes you are."
The late-night karaoke and dances
"You know what they say, love. Warriors don't go to war without their armor. Let's get ready." *their partner nods seriously and puts their work clothes on* "Gotta be prepared." LMAOOO
Taking random (not-so-good-looking) pictures of each other and their partner pretends to be mad before bursting into laughter.
Amusement dates are better than boring restaurant dates, right? They think so.
PARTNERS IN CRIME, I TELL YOU, PARTNERS IN CRIME
Not them ganging up against their family during board games and being all smug about it with each other
"Oh, I really want this. It's so cute!" "Now I know, you were only after my money. I've already bought you 50 of these damn ducks." *gasps and mockingly puts their hand on their mouth* "You found out my secret."

Hello!
I want to write so much.
But I can't come up with interesting ideas...
Can you suggest something on Human/Alien?
Oooo I love this type of ship! Okie dokie!
1. A human raised in an Earthan purist community sneaks aboard a grounded merchant vessel while it’s unloading cargo on Earth. They’re found after the ship is already in deep space, and as a stowaway, they’re brought before the captain, a creature unlike anything human has ever seen. Though they’re scared and unfamiliar with the situation, they’re determined to stay on this ship, or at least not be returned home. As they get to know the captain and crew, they might just find out that everything they’ve learned about extraterrestrials is false
2. Human is the ship’s newest security grunt. They’ve worked the job long enough to know that their position is generally viewed as dispensable. They no longer see much point in building relationships with crew members who expect them die at the next planet, or with the security teammates they’ll inevitably mourn, so they do their job with their head down. But when a landing party accident leaves them confined to the sickbay for several days, they meet Alien, the ship’s medic, who seems thoroughly and genuinely concerned with Human’s care.
3. Mutinied by their crew, Human is marooned and left to die on an inhospitable planet. That is until Alien, marooned long ago and now adapted to the planet’s ways, comes to their rescue.
4. Alien is a planetary relations liaison, sent to Earth for a galactic peace gala. They’ve been studying up on their human social cues and language for months and things seem to be going perfectly, for themselves and the government figures they are guiding. That is until one of the human attendees, a boisterous and popular ship captain begins unabashedly flirting with them—helpfully pointed out by their new Earthan acquaintances. Human romance customs is one area of Earthan culture they did not prepare for tonight, and they have no idea what to do.
5. Human is abducted from Earth and forced to fight for the amusement of a nasty band of Space marauders. Earth is not the only planet they’ve raided, and in their new prison Human builds a friendship with one of their fellow captives. They find solace in each other and telling stories of their home planets, but at the same time they both are aware of the tension at the back of their minds. How can they trust each other when they could be pitted against each other at any moment? And how do either of them know their companion wouldn’t choose their own life over them?
6. Alien has been dating their human crew mate for about a month now. They are excited to share the news with friends while they’re home for a few days on shore leave, but the reaction is not what they were expecting. Their friends urgently inform them that humans are a species that eat their mates…and Alien has noticed them getting their mouth little close these couple weeks. They have to figure out how to break the relationship off without offending Human and fast.
7. Alien has been off-planet for several years in pursuit of a starship career. Along the way they met their beloved Human. Now they’re going back home to introduce Human to their family and organize the wedding. The only problem is even though they’ve mentioned the engagement, they have not brought up that their soon to be spouse is a human. They aren’t sure how their family is going to react or how Human will deal with their planet’s customs.
8. Alien is planetary royalty traveling to their race’s sister planet with whom they’ve had tensions. On arrival, they will meet their arranged partner, another royal, with whom they will forge a marriage alliance. Or that was the plan until Human, a space pirate, attacks their ship, taking Alien hostage and stranding the remainder of their crew.
9. Human has always been interested in the supernatural, cryptids, aliens, monsters, you name it. Even if people think it’s crazy, they want to believe. But it’s different when they actually get abducted by an alien. Just one. Who apparently did it on a dare and now has no idea how to get them home again without alerting the whole solar system, getting themself imprisoned and human put in a lab. So for now Human will have to stay with Alien and hopefully pull off their disguise as an alien.
10. Human has had a crush on Alien for as long as they can remember. But Alien has a strict personal rule against interspecies relationships, always loudly protesting about the difficulty of blending cultures and having different customs, beauty standards, instincts, and even biology. With such strong opposition, there is no way Human could ever tell them how they really feel.

DANCING CLASS FLASHES
So, for dancing classes or just exercise classes that can get intense (in both cases, dance and practice), if it's an all girls club, if the trainer is female, she should check how comfortable people in her class are with dancing in front of an audience. But not with an audience. Nooo, anyone can dance in front of an audience, do a twirl if they're really pressured.
The trainer/instructor should call them out and lead by example by asking, "How comfortable are you in your body and showing it to people? How it moves and all that."
And you know that there would be some shy people who would say they don't know, some who say they aren't, and those who say they are completely comfy.
"Then flash all the girls right now. Show that you're comfortable with your body how it is."
Because there should be no shame. Dancing is primal, and challenging people like that is fun, honestly...
And most often, shy people are the ones who surprise the most, doing it, while the cocksure gals just act insulted and hide.

“No. My dear friend, you can’t possibly be distracted now, our lives are not an Agatha Christie novel — ”
“Oh wow, a mystery!”
“Might I remind you that we’re on a deadline? Emphasis on dead? Pretty sure the bosses will have our heads if we’re late again.”
“Yeah, yeah. This will only take a second. Come look for clues with me!”
“No, I’m not going to encourage this — this tomfoolery. You’re not a detective, and we’re — oh, shit. Is that a severed finger?”
“Wow, a clue!”
“That is a severed finger. Please excuse me. I’m going to faint.”

Toy Story Human Au
Idea that I’m probably not gonna write but a human toy story (I recently watched it and this has been rotting away in my brain).
Names and Ages
Woody Round 34
Jessie Round 28
Andy and Molly Round 8 & 2
Brady “Buzz” Lightyear 30
Henry “Mr. Potato” Spud 42
Rex Plastic 20
Bonnie “Bo” Peep 31
Jim “Slinky” Dog 39
John Hahnm 43
“Sarg. (No one knows his real name except Woody and wants to keep it that way) 48
Setup
Woody and Jessie are siblings raising Woody’s adopted kids, Andy and Molly(the only kids in town). They run a ranch called the “Roundup Ranch.” Woody’s prone to stress but is the unofficial leader of their small community with Jessie and Bo as his second. Slinky is often there to give him advice though, as the town’s only bartender. Jessie is even worse than her brother when it comes to anxiety but Bo helps her keep a level head. She likes Buzz and hopes to be his friend but his boisterous attitude in the beginning is a bit off putting.
Andy and Molly are orphans. Their mother died in a car accident years ago leaving them to the care of her childhood friend, Woody. They’ve been living with them ever since Molly was an infant and Andy was six. As the only children, they’re doted on by everyone in town and are a bit spoiled, but no one really minds. Andy insists on giving everyone nicknames and Molly follows along with a laugh.
Rex Plastic is the local gentle giant. He’s a little slow but he knows his strength and is so gentle with the children. He works on the ranch as a farmhand for a bed and meal.
Brady “Buzz” Lightyear is an astronaut who crash landed in their wild west esque town. Woody doesn’t trust him but his kids and sister like him so that’s something. He’s currently stranded there and thinks everyone is insane because even though it’s the modern age they still like to live in the wild west. He’s working to get back to his space program but is slowly getting attached to the small town.
Henry Spud runs the local bank with his business partner and friend John Hahnm. He’s called “Mr. Potato” by the kids, something that everyone starts doing. He’s missing one eye that he constantly replaces with a set of wild and fun false eyes to entertain the kids, before he only wore an eyepatch. Even though his soft on the children, to everyone else he's ornery and short tempered.
John Hahnm runs the local bank with Mr. Potato head. He’s a sarcastic old man but his wisecrack remarks are fun to be around. (Mr. Ham! No kids, it's Hahnm, say it with me, Hahnm. Ham!)
Bonnie Peep, called “Ms. Bo Peep,” tends to the local sheep and cattle(the irony is not lost on her). She’s dating Jessie and is one of Woody’s closest friends and confidants.
Jim “Slinky” Dog, his nickname surprisingly didn’t come from the kids, but Mr. Potato and Hahnm instead(Never play cards with that tricky bastard). He tends to the only bar in town as the only worker and owner. No one’s really sure where he came from, he just showed up one day with a fully stocked bar and an open ear. Even though he has a mysterious demeanor, Woody trusts him and that's enough for everyone else.
Sarg. He’s just as mysterious as Slinky but for much sadder reasons. Everyone can tell he’s a vet but his demeanor towards that part of his life is so negative and usually results in either violence or sobbing that everyone has steered away from it. Everyone except for Woody, he was the only one Sarg confided in when he first moved and that’s remained the same. When asked, Woody simply insists they leave him alone. For some reason though, he likes being called Sarg, it brings pride to him.

PLEASE. I DON'T WANT TO READ WHAT CHAT GPT CALLS ART, GIVE ME THE MOST UNTAME SHIT YOUR MIND CAN CONJURE, CHAT GPT WOULD NEVER THINK OF
"The hulk likes his hair braided" like okay RUN WITH IT
"Harry potter never actually did work in his classes and his teachers just passed him out of pity cause haha orphan" Okay now WRITE IT, WHY didn't he work?
ASK YOURSELF QUESTIONS. GIVE YOURSELF ANSWERS, OR GET A SECOND OPINION. CREATE SOMETHING NEW. YOU ARE CAPABLE.
ORIGINAL. SHIT.
These are two things I just made up! No AI, no crying to chat GPT, just some unhinged shit that someone could totally write some oneshots out of.
GET. AI. OUT. OF. FANDOM. Stop making headcanons with it, stop making fanfic with it, stop making fanart with it. If I see one more "asking chatgpt *blank* about *character/characters in a fandom* I'm going to lose my goddamn mind. Use your own fucking brain, stop asking AI to do everything. You could even ask other real people what they think. Just. Stop. Using. AI. In. Creative. Spaces.
