Notes about time travel au (hashira kamaboko squad):

Tanjiro

He learned that the longer his hair was the more pissed Muzan gets so he let's it grow out. However he can't handle it too long so it's stays a little over shoulder length and he ties it up

Mastered sun breathing and tried out the other breathing forms to make up for the fact he learned through unconventional means. Aka. He knows moves from all the other forms

A little bit of demon blood in him because of his brief (attempted) possession. Enough to cause him to be slightly more demonic than humans. Heals faster.

Zenitsu

Still wails and whines but mostly performatively

Will gear shift in an instant to seieous mode and it's terrifying to witness

Wasn't able to master the other forms of thunder breathing so he modified into his own style raiden (lit. Thunder and Lightning) aka Thunderstorm breathing to fill in the gaps.

Nezuko once complimented him about his long hair and he's committed to that ever since

Inosuke

Eventually realized people kept thinking he was a demon when he wore the mask so they compromised and he wear it on his shoulder now. He still occasionally wears it.

Had a brief obsession with learning all the manners so he can disregard them on purpose

He's learned to consider consequences, not that he spend a lot of time doing that but still

Got coerced into wearing a bit more cover ups by the squad a la goading and compliments

Nezuko

Half human half demon, wasn't fully cured

She tried to learn a breathing style and managed to somewhat grasp water and flower but she's not as talented as tanjiro in sword fighting

In a fight, she prefers tantos and daggers, if not directly hand to hand

She excels in tactics, the team eventually realized she should be planning the fights

She is able to control all the boys, no one questions the Nezuko

Genya

Thanks to Nezuko's antibodies and Tamayo's efforts, he's okay when he uses his abilities

While not able to use a breathing style still, he's made up for it by training and skills. He's making a mostly a marksman of the group, with phenomenal aim and wisteria bullets made by Kanao

Full mastery over his abilities and is able to control how much power it uses and how long it lasts

Wears Sanemi's outfit…

Lowkey kinda died but managed to get revived…🤔

Kanao

Emulates Kanae and Shinobu to an extent but she's more open about how she's feeling

Changed her cape into a floral orchid haori

She still has her coin but it's mostly for cool factor™️ now

Learned medical and poisons and demonology eventually

worked with Yushiro to try and develop a cure for the curse of the demon slayer marks

Anubis with fem!giyuu!reader scenario

Anubis: The childish Egyptian god of funerary and subsequent guide to the underworld. Extremely energetic and tends to shift from annoyed to elation, depending on whether things will go his way or not. He’s also a fighter, and it’s been so long since he’s fought anyone that could almost match him in agility and hand to hand combat.

 Acts like a puppy when he’s around the Water Hashira, always eagerly welcoming her home with a big grin and bone crushing hug, followed by being smothered with wet, sloppy smooches.

His love language includes quality time, cuddling, and sparring matches. 

"C'mon, [First Name]! Round two!" The god exclaimed giddily, swaying from side to side as he watched the Water Hashira shuffle her feet, adjusting the grip on her sword, the tip of the blade pointed at him.

"...We've already had three of them, Anubis. Do you not want to try the sweet buns Nezuko has made? Tanjiro said this is the first meal she has cooked since her transformation into a demon." She furrowed her brow at him. "Unless...you'd rather skip snack time with them?"

Anubis' ears perked up, and all of sudden he darted past Giyuu!reader and towards the Water Hashira's estate with delight. He then looked back at his stunned lover.

"Why didn’t you say so earlier?! C'mon, or I'll eat all of them and there won't be any left!"

"...You'd still save some for me, anyway." Giyuu!reader murmured, placing her sword back inside the scabbard and followed after the Egyptian god, mentally praying that the kitchen won't be too much of a mess to clean later.

He will transition into feral mode if he sees his beloved covered from head to toe in injuries and did not get medical treatment. He will drag her to Shinobu’s office if he has to.  

He loves to play with Nezuko and Tanjiro. Will give them head-pats and rub his scent on their bodies so no one will dare to mess with Giyuu!reader’s wards.

Hi! I saw you were doing Demon Slayer! How would our trio, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, react to a Nezuko like male reader? The three had heard reports of a demon in a village that never leaves a certain house, it hasn't bothered anyone, but does frighten people at night just by seeing them. Only to discover, they have been trying to find descent food for their still human little sibling. Mom was killed, same with the other older siblings, and dad was thrown into the sun by Nezuko reader for trying to attack little sib after turning into a demon. I personally think Tanjiro would be having flashbacks about his own family. Reader tries so hard to keep his sanity for his sibling, and is actually keeping it pretty well. If he is killed and accepts his death is up to you. You don't have to do this, I just wanted a little bit of fluff to the end.

They were all quick to get to the village

Tanjiro had them all three split up to hopefully find you faster

Zenitsu didn't want to split up, while Inosuke was already running in a different direction

Zenitsu saw you first, you had walked calmly in front of him, but he didn't realize at first

Then Tanjiro, you said said a simple hi to him, and at first he said hi back

You had learned that acting normal st night would make it alittle harder for the people to realize you were a demon

But Tanjiro smelled you, but by the time he realized, you were gone

And Inosuke saw you, he stared right at you as you were walking around, he was the first to attack

You were shocked when you felt his sword slice your shoulder

You had then quickly made your way back to your house, losing Inosuke in the process

When you back to your little sibling Tanjiro and Zenitsu was with them

You had went into defense mode and shoved them away, but only shoved to not hurt the two

When they looked back at you, they saw your defenseive behavior, and Tanjiro realized you were like Nezuko

Zenitsu was freaking out and ran out over to Tanjiro

"Your like Nezuko?"

Tanjiro would say he would then explain what he meant and when he seen your small nod he smiled

He offered his hand and a safe place for you, with Tamayo

You were hesitant, especially when Inosuke came barging through the door, and straight at you

Of course Tanjiro stopped him before turning back at you

"I understand how you feel. My family was killed, and my sister turned into a demon. Please, Tamayo may be your best shoot, for the both of you"

That's when you accepted his offer

When you got to Tamayo, she was more than happy to take you in and help you

Inosuke was still pissed off and had a fit at Tamayos

But at the end of the day, Tanjiro wanted to help as many people, and demons as much as he could

EDIT: I said I'd add more, and so I shall. I swear, the more I rewatch it, the more abserdity crosses my mind. I forgot some, so I'll add those when I remember them.

Rewatching the Mugen Train Arc, and there are a few things I noticed that I shall now share with you. I will add more as I think of them.

▪︎Rengoku's mom is hot

▪︎You will never be able to convince me we didn't see Akaza's O Face during that final attack.

▪︎Why didn't Akaza just drag Rengoku along with him to escape? All that oomf he has, and you're telling me one dude is too heavy? Nezuko can carry someone easily while in baby mode and was strong enough to curbstomp Daki, and you're telling me Akaza, Upper Three, the fourth most powerful demon in existence can't drag one guy along for the ride while bailing? I'm calling that shit hard.

▪︎Tanjirou's VA knocked this shit out of the park.

▪︎I call bullshit that Rengoku didn't activate his Demon Slayer Mark during all that.

¤ Edit: I now know why that didn't happen, so nevermind this one.

▪︎While we're on the topic of Rengoku, can I just briefly express my confusion as to his dream of choice when Enmu put him to sleep? Out of everything he could have dreamed, all the scenarios his mind could have conjured up, he chose "that one time I did something extraordinary and my dad didn't give a shit" followed by any given day of the week. Tanjirou got his family back, Zenitsu got to spend time with the girl he loved, Inosuke got to do whatever the fuck that was...and Rengoku's got an alcoholic father who doesn't give a hair on a witch's tit if his kids live or die, a mom that's still dead from illness, and last Tuesday, the Tuesday before that, and the Tuesday before that, also known as his everyday life. Why? He could have had a father that was a presentable human being again, a mother that wasn't dead or ill, a happy life...and he bypassed all of that. Just. Fucking. Why.

¤Edit: upon further thought and some amateur analysis of his psyche, the dream probably revolved more around time with his brother, or his boundless optimism making him think every day is a gift or worth celebrating or special somehow. Or maybe he just has a really bad imagination.

▪︎Rengoku just gave Enmu his first brush with heartburn.

▪︎Look up the lyrics to Homura by LiSA, and I believe you will join me in saying fuck whoever chose the music. Why they gotta do that? Why?

▪︎Get you a man that's an absolute goober, a total badass, a complete and utter derp, a major sweetheart, and a super serious hot mess all at once. Get you a Flame Hashira. Get you Rengoku Kyoujurou.

▪︎"I'm a box lunch vendor" wasn't suspicious until he said it wasn't suspicious. Then it became suspicious.

▪︎Rengoku moving his ass like "Total Consentrstion Fuck You I'm A Hashira" speed mode activated. "Ecceleration Mode", for anyone that's up on older anine.

▪︎Pigtails runnin' her way through Rengokus dream world like the edge isn't invisible and she was at zero risk of slamming face first into it.

▪︎God damn, Tanjirou, right between the man-titties. Rude as fuck.

▪︎Tanjirou: smells blood in a snow storm, Muzan in the middle of Tokyo, identifies people by their scents after only meeting them once, can smell character traits

Rengoku: two cars down from them, chowing away at bento, unnoticed

Zenitsu: hears thing down to a celluar level and can figure out what something's species and intent are based solely of of their sounds of existsnce

Rengoku: two cars down from them, practically yelling "tasty" repeatedly, unnoticed

Inosuke: has super insane instincts and the ability to lock onto things miles away

Renkgoku: STILL just two cars down from them, living his best life with a crapton of bento, unnoticed

▪︎My thought process through my original watchthrough eons ago: "Rengoku is a silly mans. Rengoku is kinda cool. Rengoku is utterly endearing. Rengoku is awesome. Rengoku is one BAMF. RENGOKU IS DEAD."

▪︎My almost simultaneous thought process through my original watchthrough eons ago: "I can't believe he dies, he's so amazing and wonderful and i love him. Ok, he dies in this fight, and now that i know the man, i instantly hate whoever did it. Oh no, he's HOT! My emotions are very mixed right now. My emotions are completely decided in their stance, and I am getting teary-eyed over yet another ficticious character."

▪︎My afterthoughts of my original watchthrough eons ago: "Akaza is the absolute worst, that pretty face, hot body and smooth af voice cannot change that. Wow, Muzan was mean to him after he did his damndest. My opinion can not change now that I have seen Senjurou, he is a wonderful little cinnamonroll, and Akaza must remain the worst. He can be terrible and still look good. I mean, are he and his utterly whorish waist and very lovely, somewhat delicately featured face really to blame or is Muzan or psychosis of some kind? Wow, that's a nice hourglass physique and horribly tragic backstory."

▪︎End conclusion from my original watchthrough eons ago: "My opinion of Rengoku has done a 180. I would die for Senjurou. I will probably never truly like Rengoku Shinjurou despite understanding that grief and disillusionment do strange things to people. Akaza is too hot, broken, and in a weird way endearing and lovable to hate. I loves me a tragic backstory and damaged man. I DO NOT HAVE A NEW SHIP I DO NOT HAVE A NEW SHIP I DO NOT HAVE A NEW SHIP"

Things that went through my mind while watching this episode: --The other day, my fellow otaku colleague sent me a screen cap of her dictionary looking up the word "abazure" and I was like, "I know what episode she's on."

--And, after finishing this season, she announced she has a new favorite character. You can all guess where this is going. We gushed about how wonderful Mitsuri is, like, an hour after I wrote some otherwise unprompted Mitsuri gushing. Mitsuri is so worth gushing about. And Ufotable has done her such justice!!

--First off, Love Breath. Just. So good. And they basically handed the ending them to her this season as her own personal theme music. Speaking of sounds! Cat noises on the Love Breath. And you know that part at the beginning of the ending theme when she looks in the mirror and pats her cheeks? You can hear it.

--Speaking of the ending theme, one of the demons she is shown defeating is mostly in shadow, but you can still make out stripes on him similar to Akaza... but more similar to Speedy from the Rengoku Special. Rengoku nod!?!? Also, although they aren't the same character design, in part of Mitsuri's flashback she pictures a mother and son very similar to the pair she saves in the Gaiden. Rengoku nod!?!? --'k but also... the Rengoku Gaiden had Rengoku give her a haori, and that thing got totally obliterated in that attack she took with her face. That attack also tore her uniform in many places, and that is made of material that can at least withstand a normal demon's claws and teeth. Underneath, however, she doesn't even look bruised, which goes to show how strong her constitution really is.

--OKAY BUT ALSO... right after we see her say she'll treasure the socks, Iguro says, "don't bother, if they tear, I'll just give you new ones"? We see that despite how frayed and torn her uniform is, THOSE SOCKS ARE STILL IN TIP-TOP CONDITION.

--Iguro, what are those things even made of?????

--Love?????????

--So for as much as Muichiro gets to show his ease in battle by verbally messing with Gyokko (at least once he has the double whammy of memories+mark), Mitsuri is so physically capable that it totally makes up for her less-than-stealy frame of mind. Our girl can be right in the middle of battling an Upper Moon and be like, "wHaT DiD tHat cHiLd jUsT cALL mE!?!?!?!? Oh wait yeah not a child BUT STILL"

--And I love that Zouhakuten is so ULTRA-SERIOUS that he takes her totally at serious face value as an opponent instead of caring one way or another about her personality, which surely must have thrown other demons off in the past since she's so unlike other Corp Members they might have faced before.

--And then you got Hantengu, running from his responsibilities as the #1 Most Relatable Demon.

--Some other animation moment I loved: NEZUKO'S FACE as she looks at Mitsuri with admiration. I can't get enough of those two. I'd like to think that if Mitsuri and Nezuko met when Nezuko was human, mature elder sister Nezuko would be just as enamored with her. Like, that day Nezuko tells an adult off for hitting a child, say Mitsuri comes to her rescue and also stands up to the guy, but then when Mitsuri is lightheaded with hunger Nezuko uses that chance to treat her to a snack and chat with her, Takeo is probably watching this all go down and feeling very overwhelmed seeing that chatty side of Nezuko, so when Tanjiro comes by he might be like, 'help,' but then Tanjiro probably starts going into fanboy mode right alongside fangirl Nezuko and Takeo would be doubly overwhelmed.

--Also, I loved that Tanjiro (who already finds Mitsuri amazing) is like, "wow, whoever made that sword is amazing," which makes a very nice through-line about Tanjiro's admiration for the swordsmiths. If we look back at that scene in the opening when Kotetsu is showing him the swordsmiths at work, there's such a nice chance in Tanjiro's expression as he feels extra resolve as he appreciates how this is how the swordsmiths fight.

--Another part of the animation I love in this episode: How you can feel the shifty G-forces as Genya struggles to hold on to the twisted trunks of wood, and then all the strength of his jaws as he pulls at the bark. I also love how this is really the only explanation we ever get of his powers, and we're all supposed to be like, "Huh. Okay."

--What I don't love about this episode is that we don't get to see Tanjiro & Nezuko's faces--or Genya's face, for that matter--when he throws the tree. Those were some good faces.

--While I am sad at Ufotable for taking that out, we have to appreciate all blessed new material they gave us for fleshing out Mitsuri's background. We all fell a little in love with Mitsuri's dad, didn't we? Since we've never gotten it in any canon material, I do have to wonder how her parents reacted to her joining the Demon Slayer Corp, and how that even came up in the first place.

--I ate sakura mochi while watching this episode, tee hee hee.

good night, could you draw Tamayo reading a story to Rokuta and Nezuko? It's for an au where Tanjiro dies in chapter 1 but Rokuta survives and is adopted by Tamayo and Yushiro. The au is found family with hardcore mode for the demon slayer because everything went to shit because Tanjiro is not there to stop most of the misfortunes but shh, let's enjoy the found family moments and let Tamayo enjoy her new motherhood

Consider Demon Sanemi

I see a lot of art and what-ifs with Demon!Genya with his lil demon muzzle and for the most part they’re very cute, and I love them very much!

But, if we are going to turn one of the Shinaguzawa brothers into demons, why Genya and not Sanemi?

In reality it’s because the dynamic we’re used to in KNY is that of Tanjirou and Nezuko, a dynamic where the younger sibling becomes a demon while the older one has to step up. It’s natural to replicate that dynamic with Sanemi and Genya because we want to see Sanemi, a guy who hates demons more than anything, conquer that hate and care for his little brother like he doesn’t get the chance to in cannon.

Is this really the best and most interesting way to spin their dynamic though?

I’m a big believer in tragedies, and I honestly love Genya and Sanemi for exactly that reason. I also majorly relate to Genya as a younger sibling myself; I want a more Genya-centric narrative.

So, what if Sanemi never became a slayer, but was turned into a demon instead?

Well, Sanemi is not Nezuko, and if he were to become a demon, I don’t believe that he would be able to come out of it without blood on his hands. Not to say that Sanemi has weak willpower- he doesn’t- it’s just that in a thousand years, there’s only ever been one person who has resisted eating humans after their demonization.

Imagine Genya, a boy who looks up to his older brother more than anything in the whole world, forced into a reality where that same brother is now a man-eating demon who doesn’t remember him at all.

Imagine Sanemi, roaming the world like an ogre. He eats, he fights and he kills because he’s lost his memories and purpose to do anything else.

Imagine Genya, chasing after his brother like a madman, encountering death everywhere Sanemi has been. The lives his brother has broken, the families he’s destroyed, Genya can’t understand how his Sanemi, a man who once took such tender care of their family, could ever do something like this.

There are so many paths Genya could take. He could become a demon slayer, vowing to save his brother from the beast that he’s become and put Sanemi down for his own good. Genya could follow in Sanemi’s footsteps and become a demon himself, needing to understand Sanemi so badly that it overwrites his thinking mind.

A noble human becoming a monster; it’s a perversion we see so many times with the demons, and, in my opinion, one of the core tragedies of KNY.

But even if you don’t like Sanemi going full demon mode, even if you want to imagine a more Nezuko and Tanjirou like dynamic, isn’t it just… more interesting to imagine Genya finally being in the position to protect Sanemi? Would Genya be conflicted about eating demons? His brother is a demon after all…

This ended up being pretty rambling, but I hope I got at least a few people considering Demon Sanemi because I do think the concept has such good tragic potential…

He was helping Riddle to evacuate the students, but when the demon attacked he was prepared to shove the Housewarden out of the way. However, you tackled the demon before she even had the chance to touch a hair on anyone’s head. Trey noted that your muzzle was gone, and that you were absolutely destroying the other demon.

Once everyone was out and well on their way back to the NRC campus, him and Riddle went back to make sure that you were alright. Well, you were, but you smiled as you stomped the other demon’s head into the ground. There was blood pouring from the body, and the two Heartslabyul students had to use their magic to shove you off of the corpse.

Trey watched as you started sobbing in Riddle’s arms, but then he helped Crowley wheel the body away. His view of you did change, because now he knew that you were willing to protect your friends even if it meant the death of another being. He planned on making you some konpeitō candies to thank you for your hard work and your maintained self-control without your muzzle.

But, you had fallen asleep. Whenever Riddle went to visit you in the infirmary, he would make sure that no one at Heartslabyul broke the rules. He was aware that this was a trying time for the Housewarden, so he made sure that the month flowed smoothly and with ease so that no one would be beheaded. Well, no one besides Ace.

One day, about a month after you went unconscious, he got a text from his friend saying that you were awake and back at Ramshackle. He went over with some of the candies that he prepared for you, and to his surprise you were patting Riddle on the head. You were very happy to see your friend, but your boyfriend was too busy enjoying himself in your arms that you were not allowed to get up and greet him. Trey said it was alright when you expressed your desire to give him a headpat, and just bent down and said that he was happy you were alright.

Ruggie Bucchi

Leona handed Cheka to him to make sure that he got out of there safe. So, he did just that. He made sure that the young lion cub was out of harm’s way before going back to check on you and Leona. Well, he saw you stomping the shit out of the other demon and the Housewarden pulling you off. Your sobbing was enough to make even the toughest of lions break apart.

He reported to the second-born Kingscholar that Cheka was okay and back at Savanaclaw waiting for him. Ruggie also had to help deliver the corpse to a local burial site so that their soul would be laid to rest. You said that your brother was typically the one who would do this, but you held her cold hand in yours and wished her well in the afterlife.

This entire thing exhausted the hyena, but you seemed even more so when you completely passed out. He cleared the way as Leona carried you to the infirmary. Honestly, Ruggie already kind of respected you, but now he would do anything you asked for free. You just saved everyone’s lives, so of course he would. 

Anyways, when the Housewarden put him in charge of the dorm while he was gone, he expected it. To be fair, he already kind of ran the dorm with his unique magic, but you know. It was weird attending Housewarden meetings in place of Leona and Grim attending in place of you. However, it worked and thus it was accepted for the entirety of the month.

When you woke up, Leona sent him a text. Ruggie made sure to make a meal for you, seeing as you haven’t been awake to eat at all. The sight he stumbled onto when he entered Ramshackle was a sight he was unprepared for. You were sitting down on the couch and your lion boyfriend was laying his head on your lap and you were giving him headpats. He most definitely took a picture and posted it to Magicam, by the way.

The last thing he expected today was for the entire Mostro Lounge to be destroyed by you slamming the other demon’s body through the table. Yeah, the fight accidentally entered the Octavinelle mirror in the Mirror Chamber. Jade, Azul, and Floyd each had the task of either escorting or carrying remaining people out of the Lounge so that they wouldn’t be injured.

Against his advice, the Housewarden went back inside. Jade followed suit, and you were stomping the dead body’s head into the ground over and over. Once the cecaelia called out to you, you had realized what you had done and broke down in sobs. The tweels went around the building, making sure no one was left behind and injured, before assessing the damage. It definitely would take a while to rebuild everything, but all they would have to do is threaten Crowley.

Then you passed out. Azul was freaking out on the inside as he hummed to you, but Jade and Floyd took your limp body from him and carried you all the way to the infirmary. They knew that your naps could last for days on end, so they prepared Octavinelle for the inevitable absence of their Housewarden. In the meantime, the Vice Housewarden would take over.

What no one foresaw was that you would be out for a month. During that large period of time, the cecaelia stayed with you in the infirmary. It was Jade who oversaw the rebuilding of the Lounge, as well as the business transactions that he has had to put on hold until Azul came back. Fortunately, everyone was quite understanding. Your reputation as everyone’s friend really came in handy for the tweels.

The day you woke up was a day of frenzy. He let everyone in Octavinelle know that you were awake, and that kind of set the mood for the entire day. When school was over, Jade went to once again bring his dorm-mate his homework, but this time he was headed to Ramshackle instead of the infirmary. He walked in to see Azul clinging to you like a koala and you just giving him headpats. Like Ruggie, he took a picture and sent it to Floyd.

Jamil Viper

He thought that he wasn’t going to reach Kalim in time, because they were on opposite sides of the room. The demon was headed straight for the Al-Asim, but you tackled it to the ground and looked back at Jamil. He understood the assignment you had given him: get Kalim out of there and to somewhere safer.

But, he was not going to be able to keep the Housewarden away from you forever, and when your snarls stopped everyone grew worried. The two Scarabia students went inside and saw that you were stomping the demon’s head into the ground to the point where it was flat and all of the blood was squished out. Kalim called out to you and the sadistic grin on your face disappeared as you looked to see the scared look in your lover’s and friend’s eyes.

Your sobs broke everyone’s heart, but it didn’t last for too long before you passed out. Jamil made arrangements with Crowley to bring the corpse to a burial site so that it could be respectfully dealt with. Meanwhile, he had Kalim bring you to the infirmary to make sure that you would be alright. 

During the month that you were unconscious, everything basically resumed like normal. The Vice Housewarden already acted like the Housewarden here, so Kalim being with you everyday wasn’t too different from the ordinary. The only thing that really changed was how Jamil would have to bring his homework to him before he went to basketball practice.

When you woke up about a month later, Kalim most definitely sent him a text. Like a few of the others, he prepared a small but fulfilling meal for you to enjoy because he knew that you have not eaten for a while. When he made it to Ramshackle, you were carrying the Housewarden on your back as you gave him a hug and a headpat as a greeting. 

Rook Hunt

He was about to whip out his bow and arrow, but you were surprisingly faster than the hunter when it came to defending Vil Schoenheit. He would have admired the young love being displayed, but the Housewarden smacked him in the back of the head before he had the chance. Before they made it out of the Mirror Chamber, however, a loud snarl coming from you sounded and Vil ran back to make sure you were alright.

Well, neither the actor nor the hunter expected to see you stomping the demon’s head in the ground. Rook watched as the other man called out to you only to console you once you had realized what exactly you had done. Well, the Vice Housewarden knew what needed to be done as you were being comforted, and he reported to Crowley that the body needed to be carted to the nearby cemetery.

Rook, being the gentleman that he is, gave you his handkerchief so that you could wipe the tears from your eyes. However, you passed out not too long after. He made sure that he reported to the Housewardens that Vil would be taking you to the infirmary and that they should inform everyone about your whereabouts.

During the time where you were out for the count, he could see that the actor was struggling with his very busy schedule. Thus, he offered to take over the duties of Housewarden of Pomefiore until you woke up. That way he could be able to focus on school, his career, and visiting you. It was worrisome for the hunter, how distracted Vil was. So it was set so that he would be the Housewarden in Vil’s absence. 

When you did wake up, Rook surprisingly didn’t know. After all, he was kept fairly busy with his new responsibilities. He was quick to order some of the second and first years about the news once he was told by Vil that you were well to spread it around to the other dorms as he made his way over to Ramshackle. What he stumbled upon there was a scene he could have never predicted: Vil letting you give him a headpat. You heard the gasp from the hunter, and tried to rush over to take his hat and give him a headpat, however the actor would not let you go.

Ortho Shroud

He had never felt fear quite like this as he braced himself to go back to Ignihyde as a bucket of bolts, but he just saw a flash and you tackled the demon and it started a full demon brawl. It was at that moment where Idia burst into the Mirror Chamber and pushed him outside. Some of his dorm-mates actually pulled him in so that he wouldn’t go back inside.

It wasn’t until he saw Idia carrying out an unconscious you in his arms that he received any news about what happened. You had scratches all over your arms and legs, your clothes were torn. However, because of your regenerative abilities, the scratches and bruises were healing very rapidly. He accompanied his older brother in bringing you to the infirmary, and both Shroud brothers were saddened at your state.

Whenever Idia went to visit you, Ortho would go as well. However, he would not stay overnight like the older Shroud would. He helped one of the students who Idia appointed to take over as acting Housewarden to do his duties, so he didn’t really have the time. He was glad that his brother was getting out, but he wished it was under better circumstances.

Another thing that no one expected was for you to be asleep for an entire month thus far. No news from the nurse meant that your condition hadn’t changed. Ortho was getting worried for his brother, since he could hear him crying in his room whenever he returned to Ignihyde. He was also worried about you, because he viewed you as his older sister (in-law) and he missed your hugs and headpats.

However, one day, he got a notification from Idia. You were awake. Ortho used the blasters that were built into his feet to fly to Ramshackle, and he opened the door to see Idia clinging to you and you giving him a headpat. He ran over to the two (three, considering Grim) of you and ran into your open arms. He felt so relieved seeing your eyes again, and he was happy to feel your headpats again.

Lilia Vanrouge

He, Sebek, and Silver were all prepared to defend Malleus when they saw the demon charging at him, but you got there first and kicked the demon out of the way. You looked back at the bat fae, and the message was clear: get out. So, he and the other two dragged the dragon prince out of the Mirror Chamber. It was difficult, to say the least.

But, when a growl was heard from inside, Malleus used his magic to force them off and find you. All they could do was follow him inside, and the sight made both Sebek and Silver sick. However, Lilia and your lover both watched as you stomped the demon’s head into the ground with a smile on your face. Once you realized they all saw this, you broke down. Of course, while the prince was consoling you, the knights knew that the body would have to be dealt with. Then you passed out.

During the time where you were passed out, there was always a storm cloud above both Diasomnia and Ramshackle. All the students from the first dorm could tell that their Housewarden was in distress because of your unconscious state. Lilia was aware of his visits to you each night, and made no attempt to stop them. A dragon without his mate was a dangerous one, and the bat fae knew that.

After a whole month had passed, the hope of you waking up was dimming. The storms were intense, and there were a few vines of thorns encapsulating your bed within the infirmary. Students reported seeing a dragon flying around in the wee hours of the morning, seemingly in despair. Lilia knew what it really was, and I’m sure you do as well.

However, when you did wake up, the former general was able to hear Malleus whisper your name upon seeing you. He left Silver in charge as he rushed over to Ramshackle, and the sight he walked in on was one that put his old heart to rest. You were awake and in Malleus’s arms on the living room floor of the run-down dormitory, patting his head. Well, now the storms could clear up…

I’ve read about Alpha go in protective mode but what about Omega Tanjiro like for example what if he sees Senjuro and or Nezuko get hurt by a demon (two pups getting hurt) does he ever black out (eyes go white and his instincts takes over) and just waits for his alpha (Kyojuro in this case) still being protective of ‘his’ pups

(I feel like after finding out what happened Shinjuro would have a new level of respect for him)

(I also feel like this would happen because he still feels guilty for not being able to protect his family and his sibling pups back then)

Omega Tanjirou going feral on the demon (and getting rid of them in the blink of an eye) because he smelled Nezuko and Senjuro's blood.

Then he takes care of them (they were just scratches) and carries them both to his nest and growls at anyone who gets too close to them.

However, he comes back to his normal self when Kyojuro returns to the estate and assures him that they're alright and that he's going to help him protect them.

And yeah, Shinjuro basically adores Tanjirou now and wants his son to marry him as soon as possible.

He knows Tanjirou is the perfect omega for Kyojuro.

I've been binging this show while working out. I thought I could stay a casual but it hooked me pretty hard!

Tanjiro is a sweetie pie, and I love him, but I also appreciate Nezuko when she gets in fierce mode.

Ok so I was rewatching Demon Slayer and a super cute thought came to my mind. So Nezuko sitting, yeah? Imagine Mitsuri is watching Nezuko but leaves for a quick thing, like to the bathroom or something, leaving Nezuko and Obanai alone together. One thing leads to another and the little demons curled up on his lap and Mitsuri is secretly watching them from the doorway 🥹 (I know this is extremely out of character I doubt he’d let her but it’s cute)

KRKJEKJRJKEKJRKJERKJEJRJKE AHHHHHHHHH *cries* WAIT I LOVE THAT-

Obanai is so mean to everyone but when Mitsuri's in the area he just kinda...softens? Even when she's not in the room it's impossible to snap back to danger mode immediately. Nezuko thinks he's the bees knees (she only really dislikes Sanemi and hisses at him) cause he's got a soft voice and a cool snake.

I think it kinda happens by accident; he's half watching her, half spacing out and boom! There she is on his lap! He just kinda...freezes. He doesn't wanna shove her off cause he knows Mitsuri would be pissed, but also how exactly does he go about this little demon girl? In the end he just kinda lets her be, patting her head awkwardly with bright red ears as Mitsuri melts by the doorway cause "Iguro looks so cute!!!"

Half-Demon! Tanjiro AU Masterpost

(This has been my comfort AU for a while)

I personally love the idea of Tanjiro having some properties of a demon, but he can still keep his humanity. So here are some details about the AU! (Keep in mind that I haven’t finished the manga)

In this AU, Tanjiro couldn’t fully cure his demon side even after defeating Muzan, but he was able to regain his humanity. His body changed quite a bit and some of the changes are:

He doesn’t need to eat people and he could use his blood to make other demons regain their humanity.

He can bring back dead demons by rebuilding them using their Blood Demon Art remnants

He can also turn people (both dead and alive) into half demons

However, he cannot bring back a human if their head was destroyed

And he can’t bring back demons that don’t have a Blood Demon Art

He can control water to fight off hostile demons and to defend himself. Tanjiro can also use it to heal people.

When he’s pissed, Tanjiro can turn water into fire and use it as a heatwave (he’s only done this once though)

Tanjiro grew quite a bit. Now he’s 6 feet and 4 inches tall

When he is ready for battle, his fangs and claws come out and his eyes become those of a demon.

When he isn’t fighting, he just looks like a normal human with tiny micro fangs.

When it comes to sunlight, he can go out in the daytime, but his skin is extremely sensitive. He can’t stay out for too long, otherwise he gets an extreme sunburn.

After every battle, he needs to regain his strength by sleeping.

Tanjiro can also purr! He usually does it when he’s happy, sick, or injured.

He will occasionally hold someone who is sick or injured close and purr so that they can heal faster

The power of the blood demon art gets halved when they become half demons. This has angered quite a few demons when Tanjiro tried to convert them

Tanjiro still prefers to use his sword in battle. He only uses his fangs and claws if he has to.

He’s quite cuddly and his bigger stature makes him a giant teddy bear

Demons can communicate using a language of growls (it’s really cute!) and now Tanjiro can do that too

They can also communicate telepathically with Tanjiro like Muzan was able to do

When demons suffer from panic attacks or get too flustered, they lose control of their voice and they start growling, roaring and crying

Half demons also have human disguises, so they can walk through villages with no suspicions

He is the new Demon King! It take him a minute to get the hang of it, but he figures it out!

Tanjiro also is incredibly proud of the demons who’ve made progress

Everything here applies to Nezuko too, except the height change, water powers, ability to bring back demons, and the role as Demon King

In this AU, Tanjiro and Zenitsu are dating while Inosuke and Nezuko are just vibing and doing their own thing.

someone (shinobu? tamayo?) administers the demon cure on nezuko and then basically the second the call goes out that kagaya is dead and muzan is Here, nezuko says "fuck waiting around for the cure to work, i'm going to help my little brother"

obviously she'd be a total badass and beat the shit out of some demons, proving herself the Superior Demon once again, but i wonder if other slayers would try to keep her away from muzan because they don't want to risk him consuming her and gaining her immunity to the sun

i like the idea of her, like, arriving right as the sun rises, so muzan like . lunges towards her and tries to consume her right then and there, but she could use her flames to make him back off so he's being burnt up on two fronts

or alternately, by the time she arrives she's already become human and muzan can't get any immunity off of her. and then the tanjirou becoming a demon thing would probably play out mostly like canon

or maybe because she wasn't lying down the whole time, the cure takes longer to set in, so when tanjirou goes demon mode, she can wrangle him into not eating or hurting anybody. and then tanjirou can bite her anyways in an attempt to assert demon dominance (like wolf dominance or whatever) and get a bit of the cure in his system too

and then they can both wake up as humans again together!
