Taking Riddle out grocery shopping is like taking a very well-behaved child out. He never strays away from you or the cart, and is oddly silent the entire time. However if you look closely you can see a small smile on his face.

He's never been to a grocery store before, due to his mom usually keeping him inside the house and getting them herself. So he can't help but be fascinated by the variety of things and contents of whatevers in the store. He definitely makes sure that no funny business goes on within the store though, he makes sure that everything he does is in order- it's kind of funny how stiff he is in a grocery store.

While out with Riddle, he will absolutely go to the mini bakery, inspecting the cakes, tarts, breads, and cookies. The aroma is enough to put a smile on his face. He probably picks up some ingredients for Trey too, and maybe for himself, if you'd like to help him in creating a tart that it?

10/10 he's so cute the entire trip and pays for you!! Consider it his gratitude for the strawberry tart you bought !

# #. TREY CLOVER

Trey probably needs to pick up some baking supplies while out with you, meaning that the two of you spend a lot of time in the baking aisle or in the mini bakery of the store. It gives him some inspiration when seeing all the different types of sweets and goodies around, perhaps he should bake some of them for you!!

Trey is always helpful, and it applies even more so at the grocery store. He helps store workers, random costumers, you. He tries the best he can, either by helping pick up grocery bags, or by carrying the slightly heavier stuff for you. Trey also walks around with the cart, going through aisle and aisle with you, never once complaining about being there for too long.

With him you don't really have to worry about anything either, he makes sure that you get everything on your checklist and that you don't buy unnecessary or unimportant items. It's kind of like going with a parental figure- or someone really calming.

10/10, man's bakes you a whole plethora of sweets- and going with him is one of the most calming trips ever.

# #. CATER DIAMOND

Cater makes Grocery shopping an experience. You know those pictures of people in carts? Or the ones where you're standing in an aisle doing something stupid? Yeah that's him, one hundred percent.

It's always so fun to go out with him though, no matter what kind if shenanigans you get into. He for sure buys a few spicy instant Ramen packs while out, actually he just buys a bunch of spicy stuff in general- not that you're complaining of course. Maybe he'll even buy some actual ingredients to try and recreate his favorite recipes with you!!

Cater tries to help out as best as he can too, by helping out with checkout or carrying certain things! He also has a nack at finding pretty- or the most appealing looking foods- due to his magicam, he knows how to get good angles and can find some of the best quality foods there is. The pictures he takes can make that one package of strawberries look like the most delectable thing ever.

8/10 he's a fun guy to go Grocery shopping with!! And you get to make Ramen with him once you get back home!

# #. ACE TRAPPOLA

As a contrast to Riddle- Ace is a big baby when going out Grocery shopping. He walks behind you, trying to annoy you in every possible way ever.

He purposely walks in front of the cart when you're about to move, has a grumpy face when being in the healthy section for too long, grabs a buttload of junk food- you don't mind but he'll share none of it with you. He does all of this with an annoying little smirk on his pretty boy face.

Although shopping with him has its downsides, he knows how to make it fun for you. He's the type to sometimes hijack and blast music into the store's speakers, dragging you along with him for a dance. He makes you sit in the carts basket, running around the store while pushing you. Does it make up for not sharing his snacks with you? Maybe. That cute smile on his face certainly does though !!

He's an annoying little shit but I love him for that. 6/10 just cause he's a stinky butt head <3 Oh and he does end up sharing his snacks in the end!

# #. DEUCE SPADE

Deuce is one of the best people to go shopping with. He trails behind you, only ever walking off when he needs to get something. He probably knows this grocery store like the back of his hand even though he's only been there like once.

Deuce knows the best deals to get as well, going grocery shopping with his mom definitely helped out a bunch. He knows what to do during a sale- running and squeezing through crowds of middle aged women to get that last carton of eggs. Think of miyamura from horimiya!!

He carries the bags back to the car, no matter how much or how heavy. Deuce also tries to split the bill with you, there's something so domestic about it, and he absolutely loves it. He always has a smile on his face whenever shopping, especially when it's with his favorite prefect!! Honestly Deuce's perfect date is probably going grocery shopping then riding off into the sunset on his blastcycle.

10/10 he's a very helpful and reliable man, its cute. He's cute. And with him you'll never forget your eggs.

I don't know what possessed Leona to want to go Grocery shopping with you and not just make you or Ruggie do it for him, but let's say he goes because he needs something.

He walks quietly next to you, looking out for what he needs while walking through the aisles. Unfortunately, after he gets whatever he needs he's a total asshole. He complains about being there for too long, and how he'd much rather be napping then in a store.

It's confusing because it was his car that you took here- he could easily just go sleep in it- or straight up leave if he wanted. Well I guess he was being nice enough to not just leave you in the dust. You wouldn't be surprised if he just randomly decided to lean on you whilst you walk, or he might knock stuff over and over for you to keep picking up. He's quite literally a cat.

4/10 he's another annoying shit- but its not so bad cause he's hot. Well at least he pays for you- right?

# #. RUGGIE BUCCHI

Ruggie is probably tagging along with you because he needs to get something for Leona. And he has to be one of the greatest shopping companions to have graced this world. He points out some of the best products that are also cheap, and knows how to get good deals and haggle with store owners.

Like Ace, he also makes the trip fun, well for him at least. Ruggie's idea of fun definitely contains snatching some wallets or free food while out. If you're at Costco he will take more samples than humanly possible. It's pretty funny- if you forget about the snatching wallets part.

Ruggie will also pay for you- using Leona's wallet!! He tells you over and over that Leona wouldn't even notice your purchase of groceries- no mater you end up getting. The hyena also knows how to get the good stuff for cheap, real cheap. It's honestly kind of a life saver to go shopping with him- he helps with everything.

8/10- he somehow can haggle a grocery store worker so you get everything for cheap- although you wished he wouldn't swipe wallets when with you--

# #. JACK HOWL

Jack is the Grocery man. He probably asked to join you just because he wanted to help out, no hidden motives or questions asked. He's so helpful it's honestly so sweet.

It's kind of funny to see a big beefy wolf man dragging around a grocery cart with a happy smile on his face. Honestly he just loves grocery shopping, its so him. He gets all the healthy stuff and protien shakes that'll help out with both of your bodies, he makes sure to leave room for some junk food in the cart though. Jack always helps out with the heavy stuff too, he carries the water cartons, soda, the eight cat trees you got just for Grim- It's like a mini workout for him!!

I can imagine him rushing when at self checkout, he's scanning those tomatoes like it's an Olympic sport. Oh- and he always gets some cactus seeds just in case !!

9/10 helpful wolf man for the win !!

# #. AZUL ASHENGROTTO

It's honestly so confusing why Azul would want to go Grocery shopping with you, did he want to start a farmers market or something?? You doubted he had anything to gain from it either. Like- who goes Grocery Shopping for a scheme??? Azul.

Other than thinking he's gonna do something behind your back while walking around the store, he's a pleasant companion! He basically just sticks to himself the whole time, pointing out things he finds interesting, or things he'd never seen before while in the sea. He's very fascinated by the variety of human items and stuff in just one store. Azul does try to be helpful sometimes, like picking out things that would benefit you both for the right price. Something tells you that if he ran his own grocery store everything in it would be way too overpriced--

He has to be scheming though, you can see him mumbling to himself while looking at the pricetags for certain items, and that gleam in his glasses isn't helping clear him of that suspicion one bit.

6/10 he's honestly not that bad- but you just know for a fact he's plotting something behind your back.

Jade joins you on your endeavors to try and learn more about the surface. Of course, they have grocery stores down in the sea, but the things they carry are far more different from the things up here. He finds this a learning experience, like many other things.

Jade is they type to like a flea market the most, or an outdoor one at that. Being outside while shopping with the perfect is probably one of his favorite pastimes. He- like Azul- is pretty silent the entire time. He just enjoys being out in nature while exploring the vast marketplace!! If you're out at a flea market he might also try and haggle with the prices, well he wouldn't try- they'd just give it to him for cheaper because of his face.

He probably buys the two of you a bunch of mushroom including foods, and he probably buys some mushrooms just for himself. Perhaps they two of you can make some foods including them later, yes? That would certainly be a fun experience!

8/10 a very relaxing experience- a lot different from the others, but it's not like your complaining!

Floyd either tries to squeeze into the baby seats of a shopping cart or stands on the side of it, towering over like the giant he is, letting you drag him around with a silly little smile on his face.

He puts whatever he wants into the cart, showing off things that you definitely don't need. Matching eel phone charms? He's making you buy it. A gummy candy in the shape of shrimp? Well duh he needs that!!

When not clinging onto the cart he's running around the store like a madman. It's quite scary if you think about it- a 6'1 eel man running around a grocery store, bumping into people without saying sorry. He makes it his mission to scare you. Popping up out of nowhere and shoving stuff into your face? Sounds fun!! Sneaking his head into the aisles you're in and watching you from afar like a creep? That's his favorite pastime!!

5/10 its fun to go out with Floyd- but also a hassle. Be forewarned before you agree to go out with him…

Also I've seen it's more common to write in third person, reading in first person feels a little weird. “Come on (Y/N), just confess to him!” Nobara sighed as she pushed me towards Yuji’s door. “B-But I was set up. You and Panda played me during truth or date…” you said as you tried to fight back, but it was no use. “What are you talking about? It was a… fair game,” Nobara hesitated. “You just hesitated before saying fair,” you pointed out. “Well we’re already here, so… good luck!” She said as she knocked on the door and ran away. “Wait! Take me with y-“

“(Y/N)?” You heard as the door opened. “O-Oh… hey Yuji. H-How are you?” You stuttered. “Good and you? And was Nobara just here, I swear I just heard her,” he said as he looked down the hallway. “No, just me! Just wanted to say hi!” You said, and tried to walk away, but saw Nobara and Panda peek down the hallway, with a mischievous expression. Oh, right… the punishment game.

“Uh Yuji… are you free?” You asked. “Free?” He asked. “Y-Yeah… there’s a new ramen shop I wanted to try,” You said nervously. “Ramen, that does sound pretty good right now! Let me grab my coat,” he said before rushing in and quickly running back out with a jacket on. You looked over towards Nobara and Panda, both of them gave me a thumbs up before going back into hiding. Both of you then headed off campus and towards town.

While in the metro, you noticed it was pretty packed so you both had to stand. “(Y/N) have you checked out the menu? It looks so good,” he grinned. You nodded, “Yeah, I heard they have a super spicy broth, and I’m really excited about it,” you replied. “That does sound good, maybe I’ll get a side of gyoza too. It's been a while,” he pointed out. “Ooh, gyoza sounds great. You know what else I haven’t had in a whi-“ You were cut off, due to the metro stopping all of a sudden.

You braced yourself for impact, but instead landed on a firm yet soft surface… “Are you ok?” Yuji asked. You widened my eyes, and looked up to see that he had caught me. “I’m f-fine,” you blushed. “Good,” he smiled, but instead of loosening his grip, he still kept his arm wrapped around your lower back. “It’d be better if you hold onto me. I’ll make sure you don’t fall,” he said. You slowly nodded and held onto him as the metro continued on track to our destination.

The metro soon arrived at your destination and you and Yuji quickly got off and headed towards the new ramen place. After quickly being seated down at a table, as you sat across from each other and began looking through the menu.

“I might get a hot tea, I’d hate to mix something cold with something super hot and then get sick later,” you explained. “Alright, sounds good. How about some jasmine tea?” He asked. “Sure,” you nodded. After ordering and a few more minutes of chatting the waiter returned with the pot of tea. “Here you go-OH!” The waiter yelled as he slipped. He accidentally dropped the kettle on the table, causing it to shatter at impact. You covered my face, but felt the hot liquid hit my arms. “Ow!” You yelled. “(Y/N)!” Yuji said worriedly and rushed over. “Are you hurt? Y-You got burned!” He said, and grabbed your hand and dragged you to the restroom.

He ran into the women’s bathroom and rushed me over to the sink. He quickly splashed cold water on my arms. “Y-Yuji…” you said softly, as you watched him continue to splash cold water on your burn. “I’m sorry, I should’ve caught it. Now you got burnt,” he said softly. You stayed quiet, and stood there as he continued to mend you. The manager and the waiter apologized profusely, and even gave you a 50% coupon for a whole year. Yuji still wasn’t too happy, but honestly you just wanted to go home. Plus, the manager gave you a big container of gyoza to take home.

The ride back home was silent, even on the metro. “Yuji… are you ok?” You asked as you just arrived at the campus stairs. “I’m fine, I just…” he trailed off. “Sorry about tonight. It’s my fault we couldn’t try the super spicy broth after all,” you joked, hoping it would lighten the mood. “Maybe next time, but… I didn’t like seeing you get hurt. I don’t know why, cause we’ve been on missions before. But this time was different, I got so mad I wanted to punch that guy,” he sighed as he scratched his head. “Well… I sometimes get like that too,” you blushed. “You do?” He asked, looking to face me. You nodded, “When we’re on assignments or when you come back from one and you’re all beaten up, or injured my whole heart feels like it was smashed.” You answered. “That’s how mine felt!” He said. “Then maybe…” you blushed. “Maybe what?” He asked. “C-Can I check something?” You asked nervously. “Sure,” he said. “C-Can you close your eyes real quick?” You asked, hoping he won’t notice how nervous you’re acting. “Uhh… ok,” he shrugged and shut his eyes.

You slowly walked up to him and stared at him for a second. Before you slowly lifted yourself with your tippy toes, and held onto his shoulders for balance. “(Y-“ you cut him off, with a gentle and soft kiss. You immediately felt him tense up, and quickly pulled away. “I’m sorry! I thought- I just-“ but was interrupted as you were suddenly pulled into another, more passionate kiss.

This time you tensed up, but slowly you allowed your body to relax into the kiss. After a few more seconds you finally pulled away, trying to catch your breath. You stared at Yuji’s light pink tinted cheeks. “S-So you like me too?” You asked, feeling excited. “I’ve always liked you (Y/N)… but I guess I didn’t realize that I liked you more than a friend,” he laughed, nervously. “I’ve always liked you too, and I’m glad we hung out today,” you smiled. “Yeah, me too. So, is that reason why you invited me out today? You were planning to confess?” He asked, as he wrapped his arm around you. “Something like that,” you answered.

Trey Clover

Favorite Country/City: A lot of treats that he makes are from France, so I believe he would love being on the tasting side of the whole ordeal. Plus, candied violets (originally called violettes cristallisees) originate from there as well. As for his favorite city, it’s basic but it’s Paris. It’s the dessert capital of France, so yeah.

Favorite Cuisine/Dish: He is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to multiple different cuisines, as people from all over have come to his family’s bakery. However, if he had to choose one, it would have to be Spanish cuisine. He just strikes me as the type. French food would come in second, but we are going by entrees and not desserts.

Favorite Drink: I feel like he would be a bit tired of tea, and coffee goes well with a lot of sweets but sometimes he wants something else. So, hot chocolate is a great go-to. Plus, you can spike it with bourbon or rum and many other things, and he prefers bourbon.

Favorite Souvenir: A cognac that he has used to cook multiple different things. He picked it up at a small shop in France, and the brandy is great for making sauces and for deglazing a pan. He rarely drinks it, but it’s of great quality.

Favorite Singers/Songs: He is an old soul, and with that being said, he likes older music. I feel like he would like songs in different languages as well. So, I think he would like the song Nunca es Suficiente, the Natalia Lafourcade version.

Favorite Movie: He doesn’t have a favorite movie, but rather favorite shows. He loves Nailed It!, Zumbo’s Just Desserts, Sugar Rush, but most importantly: The Great British Baking Show.

Cater Diamond

Favorite Country/City: This guy is hard because he would want to go absolutely everywhere and he would love everywhere he travels to. However, he would say that he loved Japan the most, as the people were very friendly and it was the first time he actually tried hard to learn the language so that he could be respectful.

Favorite Cuisine/Dish: His canonical favorite food is spicy ramen, so I would say Japanese cuisine would be his favorite. But, he has a more diverse taste than just that, so he would probably like Eastern Asian cuisine as a whole. It has a lot of savory and spicy foods that he absolutely loves.

Favorite Drink: He is also a margarita lover, and even though a lot of them are sweet, they are still delicious. However, he orders salt rather than sugar on the rim of the cup because he doesn’t want extra sweetness from sugar.

Favorite Souvenir: He picked up a pair of chopsticks that he always uses. He has finally got chopstick etiquette down, and the set he purchased at a souvenir shop served as a reminder of his hard work.

Favorite Singers/Songs: He is so into both K-Pop and J-Pop that it’s not even funny. He is one of those fans that will tear you up if you didn’t know the words, their meaning, who all the members in the specific group are, etc.

Favorite Movie: I had no idea he was into skateboarding, so I have to say that his favorite movie is Dogtown and Z-Boys. It’s a documentary-type film about the Zephyr skateboard team who helped develop modern skateboarding in the ‘70’s.

Leona Kingscholar

Favorite Country/City: He is not one to travel voluntarily, so you would have to drag him places. He does want to spoil you, so he will (hesitantly) go along with you. If he had to choose a favorite, it would be Sudan. He doesn’t have a favorite city, but rather a favorite state: the River Nile state. It holds the Meroë Pyramids, and he thought it was pretty cool that Sudan has the most pyramids in the world.

Favorite Cuisine: Pretty far from Sudan, but Argentinian food would be his favorite. They are known for having the best beef, and Leona loves having a good steak. The only downside is that it’s usually served with a few veggies or a chimichurri sauce composed of vegetables.

Favorite Drink: He doesn’t really care, so I would think that he likes beer. He strikes me as the type to have a glass bottle of beer that he holds nearer to his hip; the traditional uncle (Unca) pose.

Favorite Souvenir: When he first went to Sudan, he dressed to fit along with local traditions. He wore a jalabiya in order to maintain modesty, and he actually liked it and hung it in his closet for the next time he visited a country that prefers modesty.

Favorite Singers/Songs: It started as him getting into his edgy phase, but he did not want to go emo. He prefers rock, specifically AC/DC. His favorite song is Highway to Hell.

Favorite Movie: He usually falls asleep during every movie he watches. However, he did like the movie Silence of the Lambs. The way it left him disturbed and on-guard as well as made him want to stay awake is the reason why he would like such a gruesome movie.

Vil Schoenheit

Favorite Country/City: Cologne, Germany. I’ve always wanted to visit, and it was one of my hyperfixations for a while, but that’s besides the point. The point is that Vil strives for perfection. Part of that is smelling great. Surprise, surprise: cologne originates from Cologne. However, the Cologne Cathedral was beautiful as well.

Favorite Cuisine: I feel like he would like Japanese food as his go-to, as a lot of their food is a lot healthier than others and he strives to be healthy. However, he would like Greek food if he were just going off of personal preference. Briam would probably be his favorite dish.

Favorite Drink: Do smoothies count as food or drinks? People have them for breakfast as they have fruits and veggies, but you ‘drink’ a smoothie. Anyways, his favorite alcoholic drink would be a martini. He is classy and elegant, just like the drink.

Favorite Souvenir: A piece of the Berlin Wall. The history behind it fascinated Vil, and he considers it his most prized souvenir.

Favorite Singers/Songs: Lovefool by Postmodern Jukebox (feat. Haley Reinhart). He heard it from a co-star, and he liked it. Yes, he continues his career in your world.

Favorite Movie: Breakfast at Tiffany’s, as I believe that he loves Audrey Hepburn’s acting in that movie. He also likes Gentlemen Prefer Blondes because of Marilyn Monroe and her iconic character in that movie.

Rook Hunt

Favorite Country/City: The city of love, the city of lights, Paris. As much as I didn’t want to do such a basic answer, he is a connoisseur of beauty, and Paris at night is a sight to behold. Plus, he speaks French, so why not go to the motherland of the French language?

Favorite Cuisine: His favorite food is canonically liver pâté, so I believe he would love French cuisine the most. However, I would say that Danish cuisine comes second, as they have something similar (a dish that is derived from liver pâté: leverpostej).

Favorite Drink: A French 75 goes a long way with this man. He loves a champagne cocktail. They are typically for celebrations, and Rook just wishes to celebrate life and beauty as a whole. No, he’s not an alcoholic, but when he feels content and exceedingly happy he won’t hesitate in indulging himself with one glass.

Favorite Souvenir: A lavender perfume. He loves how relaxing the smell is.

Favorite Singers/Songs: His favorite song is Love Like You, by Caleb Hyles. Look at the lyrics, and you will see why lol.

Favorite Movie: The Notebook, as it’s a classic film filled with romance. You also cannot tell me that this man is not looking for the Allie to his Noah. He wants a romance story in his life, and that’s why he travels so much.

Favorite Country/City: I can’t decide between Greece and Japan, so I will say that they are tied on Idia’s list. The gamer boy doesn’t really go outside, but when he traveled to these places he absolutely loved it. He’s kind of simple, where he liked the capitals Athens and Tokyo the most.

Favorite Cuisine: His favorite food is just listed as ‘sweets’, and he hates raw fish. We are not going by desserts, but rather overall food, and luckily fish can be replaced by protein alternatives. Plus, the fish can be cooked. That being said, Chinese food would be his favorite. He loves the dragon’s beard candy.

Favorite Drink: He rarely ever drinks alcoholic drinks, as he is already very weak in build (remember his family’s curse?). Adding alcohol to the mix would be a disaster. However, he might like a light beer.

Favorite Souvenir: He likes board games, and while he was in Greece he learned to play Tavli, or Backgammon, and he purchased a board so that he could continue to play it with opponents.

Favorite Singers/Songs: He likes anime intros and outros, and like Cater he is very big on K-Pop and J-Pop, but also C-Pop and T-Pop. His favorite song is 夜に駆ける(Yoru ni Kakeru), by YOASOBI.

Favorite Movie: Your Name, as the two travel just to meet each other, but they have to get used to their new environments first.

Favorite Country/City: He loves Denmark’s castles, but specifically the Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen. It houses the Danish Crown Jewels as well as the Coronation Robe, and the history behind each item fascinated the draconian prince. The Notre Dame Cathedral in France comes in second for its gargoyles.

Favorite Cuisine: Again, we go by overall cuisine rather than the desserts (otherwise he would choose the cuisines that contributed to ice cream’s existence). He actually can’t choose a favorite, as all is better than Lilia’s cooking. He does have a least favorite, and it’s modern American food. His favorite type of food is street food, as it really allows him to surround himself with the locals and just be normal.

Favorite Drink: He doesn’t believe alcohol is necessary to have fun, but he will indulge himself from time to time. His favorite is a cocktail called a ‘Corpse Reviver’. It’s a morbid name, but it’s the one thing that magic can’t do. He likes when red food coloring is added, as it makes his tongue red.

Favorite Souvenir: Bro probably has enough money to actually purchase the Danish Crown Jewels as well as the English Crown Jewels tbh. Anyways, he actually treasures a book he picked up called ‘Once Upon a Broken Heart’. He was unaware that it was the first book of a sequel series, so he purchased the rest as well as the original series, ‘Caraval’.

Favorite Singers/Songs: His talent is listed as ‘stringed instruments’, but his relent would go beyond just the typical instruments you think of. Is an electric guitar not a stringed instrument? This man is in a 5 Finger Death Punch phase, favorite song being Wrong Side of Heaven.

Favorite Movie: He loves Sleeping Beauty, mostly because of that scene with Aurora and Prince Phillip where they dance together in the forest. Also, he related to Maleficent because she was not invited to see the princess.

Lilia Vanrouge

Favorite Country/City: His hobby is traveling alone, and I feel like he wouldn’t have a favorite location. He has been everywhere, and the only place he gravitated towards was Brazil. He went to that year’s Carnaval celebration and he actually really liked it. The parade floats were big and beautiful, there were many lights; it was just fun in general. The city of São Paulo comes to mind, as it’s the biggest city by population.

Favorite Cuisine: Part of why he likes Brazil is the food. Tomatoes originate from South America, and Brazil’s dishes hit different (I don’t think I’ve been to an authentic Brazilian food place, but from what I can see and from what I’ve tasted, I love it).

Favorite Drink: In the Trivia section of his Wiki page, it says that he likes potions that are said to taste bitter by everyone else. That being said, I feel like this would transfer to alcoholic drinks, so his favorite drink might be a negroni. It’s a bit bitter, so it suits his taste.

Sometimes they go to the little pub down the road and order nothing but blackcurrant lemonade. Sit crammed around a table and pretend to follow the screen. Sometimes they go to the little Korean shop near the train station. It’s the only place that sells the ramen Harry likes, and Draco would travel much further than a couple of stops for that: they also have the best snacks, and Harry’s first and foremost a snacker. Sweet, savoury, doesn’t matter at all, if it comes in a small bag and is preferably crunchy. Sometimes they take the train to nowhere in particular. Sit across from each other and dream up songs with no rhythm. Sometimes they go to the theatre and catch a film neither of them gets. Sometimes they sit at the window, together, and stare, and stare: sometimes they stop behind the bins outside their building for a kiss.

Trey Clover, the Ordinary man: Analysis and Theories

So as many of yall know, or ppl that remember me, I did not like Trey. However, after 2 years of my disappearance, I can confidently say that I TOLERATE him.

So just fyi. I have the hate a little inside. I think if someone says they dislike Trey they are justified and this is why (they don't have evidence, but I do)

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION AND ANALYSIS FOR MYSELF

Favorite Food: Violets preserved in sugar

Roses, violets, and sugar all come from a simple poem.

There was humpty dumpty and a lot of poems in the original book, so I think this has a high chance this came from here.

Least Favorite Food: Mustard

Trey, having the Mad Hatter as a sub-base from his hat and cake, I think it has some thing to do with the Mad Hatter. There's a scene where he was painting the clock, and the ingredient he disliked most to use was mustard.

Parents run a cake shop

The Mad Hatter was a sweet tooth. However, Trey's favorite food is quite expensive; I think his home is a high-end sweets shop.

Bad at singing

In chapter 7 of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" there's this song the mad hatter sang called "Twinkle Twinkle, Little Bat". It apparently sounded so bad that the Queen of Hearts called it "time killer".

Brushing his teeth

As I said in one of my other theory, Trey is the type to lie and not feel guilt. Teeth are originally "white things” and lies are “things that come out of the mouth”, Trey may like to “reveal a lie as a lie”(a joke).

Personality:

Doesn't like Riddle or is hiding something from him, judging his lies and Lab Coat PS.

Deuce and him are the cards that represent "Night", so I think that's one of the reason why he was in the Star Gazer event.

He also is the Jiminy Cricket from "Pinocchio", which is the other reason for the star event.

Oyster sauce goes well with spicy ramen (Cater).

His nature is probably really salty (Oyster sauce)

Unique Magic:

He's painting the lie with Riddle, Which I assume is one of the reasons why Riddle's icon is a completely red rose.

He dislikes his work being crumbled in a short amount of time (I don't think he likes using his unique magic on his cakes)

Relationship with Riddle and his mom

Riddle has an obsession with strawberry tarts; in his back story his mother called it 'a glob of sugar', but Riddle called it as 'big red strawberries'.

Strawberries symbolize perfect goodness, and a happy household.

Riddle probably wanted the love, but his mother took it in a different way. Trey likes violets, which I hear has a sour taste, like his personality.

Strawberries and violets are similar in a way... The sugar coating.

The nappage (The glaze on tarts), what I assume, is something on top of the true love.

Riddle's mom does give him love, but it's twisted, and Trey can't tell his feelings to him, like the violet (hides his true thoughts)

Love has different forms/types.

Like strawberries, in Trey's Lab Coat was about strawberries, his love (friendship) is a naturally sour berry and he won't name it (or he can't)

Riddle doesn't know the difference between the tarts (=love), and in Epel's PS he said that he was alone on Halloween.

Judging his personality, he tells this so he won't break down of sadness and pain; Trey understands this and he's scared of 'special love' and prefers a normal love.

Also, he seems like Riddle now=grave for old Riddle... (Is this why you listen to someone you could probably beat?)

Riddle needs someone who wouldn't lie, someone who would stand beside him (brains and power) to give him love, strawberries that aren't sugar coated.

Floyd buys the tart (love) and he even trades the red stone for notes in another story.

I think he'll be important in the future of Riddle.

~~~Warning for my reason of distaste for Trey Clover~~~

In the first arc I feel like he was doing "a childhood friend who thinks of Riddle" act coolly, but I think it should be that he thought, "I have the highest liking for Riddle."

This leads me to think...

Unpopular Opinion, Trey is a psychopath/sociopath or does not really like current Riddle. Let me explain from the ceremonial cards:

Apparently, he doesn't hide his true feelings thinking of Riddle as “A tyrant that uses his dorm and his vice dorm leader very roughly” (Trey’s gym uniform and Jade’s ceremonial robes)

Only Trey, I get the weird feelings. I don’t think he’ll stand up for Riddle if we say “I hate Riddle” and talk about him behind Riddle’s back, Trey seems like he would laugh it off. Because, Trey got angry because of “I’m tired of the same cake Trey makes”, that’s insulting to Trey.

Riddle was like “Welp okay” but trey was like “Haha...”, and will purposely set up things like this and continue it for a long time. (I would still eat it though)

There are some aspects of the Heartslabyul dormitory and Riddle that can't be helped, but there’s too many secrets they are hiding from Riddle.

Trey does try to help Jade (ceremonial robes, Jade), but he doesn’t help Jamil (Trey’s ceremonial robes)... Maybe it’s because there’s the danger of Riddle exploding (not literally)and he didn’t see Jamil needing help.

Trey, and Riddle too, I get the impression of “I’m not interested in others”

Cater mixes well with him because he has this “sad boy hours, secretly” personality. I can’t see Trey willingly letting others in his heart. 

I just get this "a subordinate who is swayed by a selfish boss" vibe from him. I think he’s unconsciously trying to “help” his dorm by overlapping him with Riddle.

He’s basically talking about himself and not looking at the person, and that’s what Kalim was talking about.

Trey is the “big bro that we can count on”, but he isn’t like Riddle or Azul who likes “being counted on”. Every other vice dorm leader are actively trying to help out with emotional baggage but Trey’s in the “waiting position”

He knows he will be relied on or like “I’m the only person you can rely on so, I’ll just listen to it”? He has this very good passive care? It’s not like he has a good relationship, more like taking care of the relation ship. He’s like “if you don't eat your tomato's your parents are going to be a problem so just please eat them”, which is what I think his thought are usually.

Perhaps Trey taking care of others is neutral, he doesn’t hate it or love it. Maybe he’s like that with him? I feel like he’s looking for someone or an accomplice, like Cater, to share his problems with. 

I saw that possibility in Jade, but he doesn’t fully strike me as that kind.

Perhaps Jamil has a honest straight heart and he decides that Trey is “not the type he wants to be an accomplice.” It seems that he was trying to look in deeper because of Jade’s gut feelings.

Perhaps Riddle failed the strawberry tart joke, which Trey was the one who made the joke maliciously with the oyster sauce, has something meaningful...

Ace also defines the relationship between tray and riddle as "spoiled". This is probably the same for Riddle’s tart.

This tart, which is too salty with oyster sauce, is said to be "delicious" only by Cater, who “hates sweets and can be said to be an accomplice to the tray that hides it."

Isn't this salty strawberry tart a metaphor for Tray's personality? After all, Riddle doesn't seem to be talking to the end.

Probably there is a foreshadowing side of the second part of the Heartslyaul arc; including the tea party at the end of this, and the appearance of Chen’ya, and there is a hint that Riddle will face the nature of Trey (the salty tart) but at the end we can laugh at each other. I wonder what it would be (HHhhmMMMMmm CATER??? )

It's understandable, looks and acts sweet but salty on the inside. Trey seems like he makes an oyster sauce joke, probably only to someone who brings up his specialty, cake making, and makes it aware only then about his “salty nature”.

Jade and Rook have never talked to him about sweets, so they probably misread his true nature.

He probably thinks of the dorm as his “kitchen and dining table.” he doesn’t care who sits and dines, but he doesn’t want a miss. Like he’s the mom like “oh? your tired of the cake? Them make on or self”

From Riddle's remarks, this is the only clue to "Trey before Riddle's mother gets entangled and distorted with him", so maybe the "Oyster sauce joke" is Trey's fraternity and his playful nature.

He looks like a sincere man, but in reality, lying is like a reversal phenomenon that he is.

Perhaps "the present where I can't joke to Riddle" is more unusual for Trey. That’s why Jade and Rook were surprised at the “"Well, isn't strawberry a love for Riddle?" (platonically); it's because they aren’t as close enough to know the “oyster sauce”. He might want to give Riddle the sauce too.

Perhaps it's spicy ramen (in a soup stock way), or Cater, that goes well with oyster sauce, and neither cake nor oyster sauce is entwined with liver pate or carpaccio. (Jade and Rook)

That's why the two observers overlooked this whole thing.

Vil and Trey are probably the closest, and Vil does notice the suspicion. Maybe Trey is in NRC, and not RSA because deep down he is a liar? 

A lie is also handy, but in general, it is hard to say that it is a "good" background. Maybe this is why Trey is so scared. By the pressure of Riddle that it can't be restored to the old relationship that they once had; he thinks “Riddle would decapitate me if I say a joke about the oyster sauce. (his true self)"

It's subtle whether Riddle isn't complimenting/appreciating Trey properly or is running away and not listening properly, but I feel like the latter.

Jade and Rook judge the strawberry tart from the outside, but it's actually salty with oyster sauce, Ace and Deuce scream and Cater says it's delicious. Riddle, who noticed that he was deceived, accepts it and can laugh, and maybe Trey’s wish or the friendship can be repaired if he notices Riddle's window of forgiveness. 

Considering that teeth are originally "white things" and lies are "things that come out of the mouth", Trey may like to "reveal a lie as a lie".(a joke) and mashes up well with Vil.

From the fact that Trey’s unique magic is “doodle”; the lie that turns white roses into red, the joke of oyster sauce, and the liar skill of the person himself, it is as if "I am a mischievous liar". It is thought that it is. What if Kalim’s power is water based, what if the metaphor is being washed away?

In the SSR, the first-year students who tease the cake Trey makes, encounter a lot of trouble, but the Trey does nothing on purpose to make them fail.

However, just before Riddle goes off, he shows off his whole cake, saying, "I wondered if that might happen!". This is truly Trey like and the performance he made was just to create a laugh. He's not just “a boy who cried wolf”, he just likes "laughing lies and moments of revealing." Therefore, it is trusted by the surroundings.

Then, the meaning of marron tart in Heartslabyul arc will change. Marron tart is a "vanity with a sweet amount" and is not a cake suitable for sourness and decoration fruit like strawberries. Perhaps Trey's lie will fail in the future, in conflict with Riddle's ethics. Even if Riddle himself wanted it to...

I thought it was strange. Why did Trey who loves "peace" make first graders make marron tart instead of strawberry tart, that was safe? This is a "notice to the second part", which expresses the "spoiled-sweetness" of Trey in the form of a maroon tart. This is "the end of childhood".

Strawberry tart is a taste for adolescents  due to a mixture of sweetness and sourness, but the sweet marron tart without sourness will prepare a spoiled = comfortable lie for "small children"(Riddle) I wonder what that is though... Apparently, the current Trey has “Riddle=Tyrant=very troublesome” idea. However, the actual Riddle has already graduated from “childhood” and is already in “adolescence”. Maybe he will take off his glasses when Trey faces "current Riddle"

Perhaps this is a state in which “liar achievements (the blot) continue to accumulate now that lies cannot be revealed as lies". Maybe Trey thought Riddles mother “repainted” as an “angry tyrant”. Unless Trey himself reveals the lie, he will keep “painting” the lie... Which does explain why his coffin icon is a fully red rose.

The combination of the idiom "red lie" (in Japanese) and "let's paint the roses red" creates a character as if this "liar Trey" was assembled. Cater welcomes lies and sincerity as long as it "shines in magicam", so he is happy to accept the revealing of Trey. So this is the reason why the two can be paired with duo magic.

I'm sure Trey is the type that wants you to silently eat a salty cake and say “Wow this- I- hahaha” rather than a sweet pleasant cake. 

I don't know what spicy things represent, but Jamil, who has lived as a "little adult", likes spiciness and dislikes sweetness (dates) like Cater, so maybe "I don't know how to spoil it because I have never been spoiled as a child." I think it's a distortion of their communication methods.

When Jade, who would be the polar opposite, said to Trey that he misunderstood him as the type that “wants Riddle to eat home-made dishes with lots of love”, maybe it’s because he is the type to do that with his mushrooms (Jade be a little more grateful that it lasted two weeks with Floyd please-). So that got me thinking...

If I re-judge them it looks like Trey is “looks loving/affectionate, but thinks Riddle as a ‘troublesome dorm leader’ he has to work for’ and Jade is ‘Looks like he gives not a lot of love, but in actuality, he cares about Floyd and Azul and feeds them mushrooms and likes watching them enjoy eating. (or at least that’s how I views them)’

Now if I re-think my judgement and group the vice-dorm leaders, there's two groups:

“Dang it-Don’t do anything extra, dorm leader.” type- which is Jamil and Trey. (maybe Ruggie)

“Look at my dorm leader!! I’m so proud of him!!!(?)” type- which is I assume Rook and Jade (And Ortho? and Lilia)

Looking back on Jade, he didn’t really become very sad from Azul’s and Floyd’s complaints about eating mushrooms, he looks like he just enjoys the “process of giving love” to his mushrooms/friends, and...That's some heavy love right there …( I don’t think you would admit it as ‘love’ Jade but... You’re not doing so you can get anything back... )

I did some looking back on the vice dorms’ lines, and Trey made me think. Does his praise towards Riddle mean anything to Trey himself? 

Jamil did try to talk to Trey and he just kinda ignored Jamil because, from his point of view, he may have seen it as “Kalim is okay, he has no problems and they look like friends”, but on the contrary, Jade, he probably thought they were the “same kind” because he thinks that Azul is like Riddle, one who causes problems, “made him the vice dorm leader because he had to”. 

Jade, on the other hand, thought that Azul and Riddle were both interesting, so he thought that Trey “loves Riddle with genuine affection” (In a friendship way )

Yes, we did see the ‘I don’t really like you.’ with Jamil and Kalim, but what happens if Riddle noticed..? (I would either laugh or cry tbh)

I am more concerned with Riddle overblotting again because of their relationship. Like, Trey didn’t even bother to take off his hat and was super calm about the blot. While Jade, who actually cares and worries, took off his hat during the overblot times.

Cater is always trying to improve the mood of any gathering he is in and Deuce describes him as being in the "terminal stages of smartphone addiction" because of Cater's constant phone-use and dedication to magi-cam, the Twisted-Wonderland-universe-equivalent of Instagram.

While Cater is very cheery and has a friendly demeanor, he will not hesitate to use his seniority to pressure underclassmen into performing tasks on his behalf. 

He has an excellent sense of balance, which aids him both in his hobby of skateboarding and in flying classes, where he often rides his broom like a surfboard. 

Cater tends to lose his cheerful facade when it is time to go home for the holidays, as his two older sisters often pressure him into doing things he doesn’t want to do.

Cater has explained that, growing up, whether something is considered “cute” or not carries a lot of weight in his family, which is possibly why he describes almost everyone he comes into contact with as “cute”. He prefers being at the school to being at home, and referred to NRC as his true home in the 2021 New Year’s event. In his lab wear card home-screen he states that he doesn’t know what it’s like to feel homesick.

Cater likes spicy food because it cheers him up when he is feeling down, and spicy ramen in particular, because posting ramen on magicam always earns likes.

Cater didn’t always dislike sweet foods, but when he was ten years old his mother and two older sisters went through a phase where they would make sweets every single day. Since child-Cater usually had a big appetite they would always pile his plate with handmade treats. At first he was happy to be able to indulge to such a degree, but over time he grew tired of eating so much sweet-tasting food. 

Whenever he tried to refuse their food they would look sad, making him feel guilty for being the source of their unhappiness, so he would force himself to eat what they made. Over time he came to dislike sweet things in general.

Cater says his sisters would also force him to do tasks like carry their bags when shopping, leave the house to buy them ice cream on a whim, etc.; demanding his help rather than asking for it. On his birthdays they would give him gifts according to what they wanted for themselves, including stuffed animals, dolls, perfumes and soaps. He says that recently, however, they've gotten better about it.

Unlike every other main character in Heartslabyul Dorm, Cater does not come from the Queendom of Roses, having been born in the Shaftlands (as were Vil, Jack, Vargas and Trein, none of whom he met before enrolling in Night Raven College). 

Cater’s father works for a bank with branches all over the country and so, growing up, he was never in any one location for more than two years. As a result, he never had a chance to form any deep friendships.

Cater explains the reason behind his obsession with Magicam in the Halloween event, which I’m going to quote directly because I cannot do it justice through paraphrasing: “Changing schools over a short period of time, you will meet a lot more people than if you stay in one place…But there is one thing that we all have in common: I leave, and everyone else stays…That’s why I like to always get along with everyone, like a circus troupe that entertains people from all over the world―and then leaves. That’s why Magicam is so great…I love how it promotes casual, light relationships.”

Rook calls him “Monsieur Magicam”, while Floyd refers to him as “Hadai-kun”, meaning “Crimson sea bream”.

His smartphone case was purchased for him as a souvenir by Lilia. An extremely popular design, Cater used his unique magic to try and win the chance to buy one as they were only being sold raffle-style, and failed. Lilia will now occasionally insinuate that he wants to be paid back one day.

In his labwear vignette, Cater attempts to infuse mandragora with magic, in an assignment where the mandragora subsequently "reflects the qualities" of the magic-user as they grow. Lilia and Vil's mandragora begin to dance, and Cater's first attempt results in a "bright pink mandragora with big, round eyes". Cater explains that, due to pressure from his sisters, "make it cute" has been burned into his brain.

While his second mandragora poses as though playing the guitar, his third mandragora ends up "hugging its knees and huddling in place".

Cater’s unique magic is “Split Card” (In Japanese: “Fluttering Deck”), and it creates identical clones of Cater himself, though using the spell for an extended period of time is apparently very taxing.

It is unclear if there is a limit to how many copies Cater is capable of producing at one time. In-game he has only ever created a maximum of four simultaneously, but it has been hinted that he can do more, and he creates many more at once in the manga.

Momosan Ramen

Ramen doesn't photograph well

In general,  I would say I don’t appreciate celebrity chefs*, anymore than I appreciate stunt casting or the Kardashians apparently inventing shapewear suddenly, and I’m not going to be so stupid as to say, “and momosan changed my mind on this!” but I will say, morimoto’s ramen shop is solid as fuck, and the sake choices are pretty good. 

It was the one restaurant my mom asked for specifically in New York City, and only one of two on the trip entire. So we were going even if Morimoto himself shit into a bowl and delivered it to me with a respectful bow, and called it ramen. I’d had the Boston outlet, and thought that was solid, so I wasn’t expecting disaster, and I did not get disaster, I got a very solid chicken ramen served with a spice ball so I could burn my own face off as I slurped down noodles and drank sparkling sake. 

What I thought was better than solid, and a rousing success, was the service, my fucking god. Our waiter had the gift of being incredibly fast while making you feel like you were not being rushed, of being so pleasant and joking while managing multiple tables in a fast-paced restaurant. He took the time to talk about sakes and then I listened to all his recommendations and said, ‘Oh I’ve never tried sparkling sake! I’ll try that!,’  ignoring everything he suggested, and he did not kill me immediately and for that he should recieve the Conspicuous Service Cross. 

But Doc, how was the ramen? Very solid! Noodles are a highlight here, chewy and dense without being lead weights. The broth is richer than i might have thought, chicken ramens often suffer from a kind of lightness I don’t love unless I’m opening a packet of deep friend sodium experience, but this had some weight to it. Great ramen egg, jammy with a delicately finished yolk. The spice ball was fantastic, I love when places offer that because I love having the option to make it as spicy as I desire. I would say to go if you go at 5 pm for dinne,r because it does get busy and while I think it’s very good, I absolutely would not wait in line for more than 20 minutes. 

*Things I am mad about for no reason: The plural of chef should be cheves. I am not taking questions at this time, thank you and goodnight.

From a Law x f!Reader I am really struggling with, but I am determined to pull it to the finish. It's not even proof-read so, a warning for possible typos and style glitches:

Ignoring the unpleasantly cool air, you shake the comforter off and crawl closer, soon wrapping arms around him from behind and setting chin on his shoulder. Barely does he jerk, just a sharper inhale tells you that you’ve been spotted. “Sorry.” He mumbles, face still pressed tight between hands. “Woke you up?” “Been awake sometime.” You kiss the line of hair at the back of his neck. “And you weren’t asleep at all, am I right?” Quite a long time, filled with the natural, musky smell of his skin pressed to your nose, passes before Law finds any words, his reluctance to lie fighting against need to not worry you. “Could be worse.” He grabs one of your hands and kisses its palm, his lips dry and parched—then finally moves, but slowly, visibly fighting against exhaustion and urge to fall back into the warm bed. “You need rest,” you insist, trying to keep him in place, arms holding on him as tight as your barely awake muscles let you. “Please? At least until they call us back?” “What a few more hours of lying here will do, if I can’t—” His words snap into a hiss, but he bites his tongue and sighs, heavy, as if he threw a great weight off his chest. “Ugh. Fuck. Sorry.” You kiss your forgiveness along his neck. “Maybe I can…help you relax, at least?”

🦋 Which character is your favorite to write?

I think Sanji, even if he's erm far from my favorite character in canon? He just clicks so easily with many prompts. Katakuri is a nice victim too, I like breaking introverts with issues into vulnerability, hehe. Law for similar reasons, but I am very picky with requests for him, since he has very sharp edge and, imho, doesn't fit everywhere. Slowly reclaiming Zoro after fandom pushed him out of my sphere of comfort. Luffy is a great joy to work with but, again, I'm super picky with him cause he's tough to grasp.

🦈 Which character is the toughest to write?

Crocodile. I, frankly, see him as hard aromantic and his personality is a pain in the ass to work with in typical x y/n setting. Doflamingo, too. I enjoy writing Doffy when the topic hits the spot - but it rarely does :/

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

My partner's in crime (@greenwitchtaimanslayer) Of Discordant Fists and Bloody Keys will change your mind on OCs if you, like me, don't particularly enjoy this kind of fiction. And I'm absolutely not mentioning it here so he'd move his ass and finish that new chapter or add that Renna x Y/N thingie :3

@heyitsdoe and her Doe's Spicy Ramen Shop is a must, if you're looking for some novelty in y/n fics. It's something completely different from majority of stuff I see around, and since it's a collection of one shots with different characters, I'm sure everyone will find something for themself.

@childofblackmaria and her dilf collection is also a must if you're looking for a mature approach to our favorite blorbos and not only. Lale's writing is like a safe harbor where you will return every time bad winds carry you to places you didn't wish to see.

I'm slowly chewing through @harudnae's portfolio and damn, they're one of those writers I will enjoy always, even if I don't particularly vibe with topic and/or characters. Sabo/Reader/Koala thingie just opened my eyes and I can't close them ever since.

For similar reasons, @doctorgerth never disappointed me with her fics. Won't link anything because I'd need to make a separate list for all fics I enjoyed. hello cece!!!

how are you my dear? i hope these past few days have treated you kindly. it’s been two days and i’ve missed you. as promised, here is a little recap of my trip!!

before my trip though, i took myself out on a date! i caught the tram all the way down the line and went shopping by myself. i bought a grand total of seventeen books :) (my arms were very sore) in one of the bookstores i went into, they have this thing where you can buy them wrapped, so it adds a bit of mystery. all you know about it is the hints and descriptions written on the paper. curiosity got the better of me, and i bought two. i also managed to find a lot of classics, including two works of oscar wilde, i hadn’t seen before. now i just need to buy myself a new bookshelf next time i go out…

so my trip! i went to sydney with a friend. i’ve never been before, and honestly, it’s pretty alright. i don’t think i could live there or go for any longer than i did, but it wasn’t too bad, considering all the bad things i have heard about it. we went initially for a concert on the saturday, but we were like “hey we may as well stay the friday night too.”

cece, when i say i had the best japanese i’ve ever had in my entire life on friday night, i mean it. we had gyozas, karaage chicken and a spicy pork ramen. i wished i could have finished it all, it was so delicious. we had to wait for a table for maybe half an hour, but it was sooo worth it. afterwards, we had their green tea ice cream, which was incredible. i would send you a cone!

the concert started at 7pm on the saturday, so we had the day to kill. we met up with my friend’s brother and his partner, and they took us around to their fav places. we went into the gayest cafe i have ever been to in my entire life. not one person in that building was cishet. rainbows were EVERYWHERE. the entrance was painted rainbow, little rainbow flags were hanging out the windows, they had the cute collectable spoons. it was adorable. we had paninis and tea, and i had never felt so at home.

after we ate, we went into this shopping centre into the coolest little bookstore. i bought two books and a little pin. i restrained myself, i was so proud. i was served by a person with the coolest mullet (i mustered the courage to tell them and they were so sweet). we also went to the lego store (i bought lego sunflowers for my friend’s birthday), it was just a really fun time

now the concert. i have never been to a concert before, but it was so so so fun. we had the best seats you could get without vip, and i’m talking perfect view of the stage. i was so tired after, but in a good way

well, now i am home and i’m so happy i went on that trip. i needed the break from work and uni, and i have another trip coming up too, so i should be less stressed throughout the semester :))

so as i said i was on a little trip too! i went to budapest, it was kind of a last minute holiday, but i had a lot of fun!! i’d already seen the city a few years ago but i loved it so much i was happy to go back. we just spent a few days there so we didn’t get to see the whole city, because it’s really big, but i’m still really glad i got to see some of my favorite places again!!

also, i went with my mum, who doesn’t speak english at all, so i was supposed to be in charge and talk all the time, and i was so worried because i can never talk to people, but i did it!! i managed to walk into restaurants and ask for a table or ask people for directions and stuff like that and everyone was just so nice!!

we went to the bastion which is my absolute favorite place and you can see the whole city from there, and we also did a little cruise on the danube at night so we could see all the city lit up and it was awesome!! and i got to eat some of that amazing food again!! they have a lot of fried and spicy stuff that is soooo good. i wish i could send you some of that too because honestly it’s amazing!!

i got back last night and now i’m super tired because of all the walking in the city but i’m glad i went too, it was a really nice trip!!

Day 7 - I lost my shit when I saw that there was going to be a Mo Dao Zu Shi collab café. I sat up until about 2am trying to figure out how to make an account, use a VPN etc etc.... However obviously by this post you can see I was indeed successful and here we are!

The day started MUCH LESS stressful than the day before. Again this was at a Sweets Paradise so at least this time we didn't have the added stress of HOW DOES IT WORK. We made a plan of what we wanted and what we were going to do before we got in.

We headed there fairly early so we weren't running around like the day before, this one was located in Shinjuku. We found it super easy and had a look in the Bic Camera a few doors down to kill some time and then headed up.

We got in a little early and took our table. It was quite dark in there and it was located underground on the basement floor. There of course was lots of MDZS décor around where we were sitting. Matt didn't want anything on the menu so ordered a main for me and I ordered a dessert too for myself and we each got a drink. He then helped himself to the buffet which he enjoyed.

While waiting for the food I went to the shop and got some limited edition bits including a really cool acrylic stand pictured above.

My food came out and I had a Wei Wuxian spicy curry which although was cold it was tasty and had a kick to it. I then had Lan Wangji's dessert which was super tasty, it had wangxian bunnies made out of ice cream and the little house where they stole the chicken and THE BATH TUB SCENE ahhh it was so freaking cute.

I really enjoyed this café, and I loved that they had the actual suits for Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji on display too. They were beautiful.

Afterwards, I had plans to go to Harajuku and walk to Shibuya and do some shopping for the day. Unfortunately I miss judged how insanely busy it would be, and to be honest it was way too much. We did walk through Harajuku and I went to my fav anime shop there. But it was too much so we decided to leave quickly. And then we walked to Shibuya and went to the Donki, Animate and Mandarake there. It was just so busy and crazy as it was a Sunday, after this trip I would 100% not try any shopping at the weekend, it is honestly unbearable.

We manged to get a table quite quickly Ichiran and finally had a big bowl of ramen, where I ate 3 eggs cause I bloody love eggs. It was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed every bite. It ended up being fairly late when we headed back to Akihabara. I really enjoyed the café in the morning, but I did end up feeling like I had slightly wasted a day as the shops were so packed we spent most the day just walking. You live and learn I guess.

What quirk/ habit of women's does he like? (what gives the 'kyun' feeling) When she adjusts her hair behind her ear as she's eating ramen/ soupy food.

What to keep in mind during recording sessions? Trying to feel your chara's emotions is important, but pay attention to others' dialogue lines too.

Does he like Graniph clothing brand? Yes. Cute sweatshirts and hoodies, plus he notices the cute outfits (worn by women) during filming.

Difference between acting techniques for anime vs foreign film dubbing? For anime you have to imagine how to portray the character on your own, as for film dubbing there's already an existing screen actor so the consideration is to fill in as the actor's voice.

Favourite manga? Recently, it's The Fable (by Minami Katsuhisa).

Any quirks/ habits? While deeply concentrated in gaming, he'd stick his tongue out (as demonstrated in the YT video), and he's worried about unconsciously doing it when doing game activities for work.

Which seiyuu does he want to collab with the most? Many, but if he were to pick one, Shirai Yuusuke because he seems to be the most involved with YT activities.

'Dark' personal history? In high school, he was a gyaruo who'd try to hit on girls.

Liquor recommendation? (Some kind of whiskey I didn't catch, not commonly stocked in shops; from his earliest livestream, I think it's Kirin Fuji Single Grain Whiskey)

Embarrassing experience? In the 2nd year of middle school, while in the library he gotta rip a silent fart. You can guess what happened :)

Most laborious/ tiring moment? He went on a 3-year hiatus from acting for club activities in middle school, but once again aspired to become a voice actor in high school. It was the most tiring period for him back then, having to juggle both school and work.
