Im in love with the implications of tape 1 of Roier's lore because he either:
1) Was legitimately turned into a rat by the federation, which, beyond the goofy fucking model, is genuinely frightening body horror that I think roier (the guy not the cubito) has the full capacity to explore knowing his rp abilities.
or
2) He was hallucinating getting turned into a rat because of all the drugs he the feds are pumping him with. This comes with the extra terrifying implication that the feds ARE actually experimenting on him, but what they're actually doing to him is being obscured by the effects of the drugs.
Either way it's fucking horrific and I love it. I can't wait to see what he has planned next.
Just imagine if you will, a very aesthetic 1950's high school setting. The Waynes live in the idyllic little town of Amity Park, going to Casper High, and living their lives.
Dick is the oldest son, off to college but still stopping by to visit, all letterman jacket and smiles. Jason, the bad boy greaser is trying to finish up his senior year of high school, a little late, but spending time in Juvie put his life on hold. He's trying his best, spending time working on his motorcycle and hanging with his study buddy, Jazz Fenton. Tim enjoying high school life with his family, studying hard and enjoying photography club. Gee, Tim's life sure is perfect
or is it?
Tim can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. Sometimes, he remembers something else. He has memories of his life here, and they must be real, his family is here, Jason, Bruce, Alfred, and even Dick when he's back from the Teen Titans college. Wait... Dick wasn't in college, was he? Wasn't he a cop in Blood Haven? Was he the local cop? That's right, Dick is the local cop, all sunshine and feeding his eternal sweet tooth with donuts. How could he forget that? He loved his family! Sure, there had been some rough spots, like when Jason died went to juvie, but they were together now, a real family.
But sometimes Tim has dreams, of another time, of another place. But they can't be true, can they? YES! No, That made no sense. Thinking about it made his head hurt.
Then there was the matter of the boy in his class, Danny Fenton. He kept catching him staring. Danny would just look at him funny. Sometimes he would say weird things. Tim would write him off as just an oddball, but sometimes what he said reminded him of his dreams.
Tim wasn't sure what it was, but something was up. He was going to find out what it was, and maybe, just maybe, Danny Fenton was the first step to solving this mystery
or
Tim wished for a more idyllic life and to get along with his brothers while on a mission in Amity Park. One reality warping genie ghost later and now they're stuck in something like a 1950's sitcom with altered memories.
had a dream about khml but not in the sense that like new information was revealed more like in the sense that not only did i convince myself that it was real but that it had always been a thing we’d known for a long time. like i had a dream there were straight up political executions in there or at least an offscreen implied type of thing. there is a girl character who exists only in my mind who bravely helps the player but then is arrested and implied to have been hanged to death because disney can do anything they want these days. in my dream i seriously thought she was a real thing and had always known her. i can see her in my mind
Bruce is being haunted by the thought that his children will be killed by his legacy, by Gotham, after he is, because they are simple humans (Are you sure about that???)
[ID: a 10 panel comic featuring characters from the owl house, set after For the Future. The first panel shows Belos being ejected from the body of Raine, who's currently slumped in Eda's arm as she says "Raine, let's have gay sex", and Belos proclaims "EW AHH NO GROSS!!!". The next panel is an incredibly simplified doodle of the hexsquad reacting. The next panel shows Gus looking at Belos (pooled on the floor", before thinking "nows my chance to get inside his head again!". The next four panels show Gus removing the magic amplifier from his ear, drawing a spell circle, followed by close-ups of both his and Belos' eyes as they both glow blue. The next panel shows Gus saying "alright Belos, time to see what you-" before being cut off in the last panel as it's revealed that Gus can see the ghost of Caleb. Gus makes an exaggerated face of surprise, Caleb waves with a smile while Belos says "Caleb stop" from the floor. End ID]
(IF YOU'RE WONDERING WHY THIS LOOKS LIKE ASS IT'S BC I SCANNED AND COLOURED IT DIGITALLY 😭 I drew this in my sketchbook at a fever pitch during one of my free periods) this is my only prediction for watching and dreaming, actually. Not realistic, but funny to me specifically
Some people laugh while crying, it could be hysteria.
However that's okay too. To cry and laugh.
To laugh or smile when your in pain. It's your way of expressing.
Some cry when happy too. It can be a happy cry. To much joy maybe.
It's okay to be angry. People have limits on the rude comments they can take.
Feeling jealous can cause anger. It's okay if that's what you feel.
People can feel angry when sad or vice versa.
Sometimes you can instantly turn angry. Sometimes even the slightest of things can make you angry. It's okay.
Sometimes you feel things you don't want to. It's just a part of being alive. It is healthy to let yourself feel emotions. Even if others do not understand. Even if others seem to judge. Even if others shame on it. That doesn't change that having feelings is valid and everyone experiences them.
People just experience emotions and feelings differently, some might be similar but others are different. Doesn't make feeling less important.
However feels can be bad. Sometimes they hurt you or others. It that's the case take tome to relax, calm, and reflect on it and see what you can change. Sometimes it's others who need to change.
Sometimes you need to feel what others consider negative. Like even grieving, boundaries being pushed, seeing others hurt by others, being hurt yourself, and many other reasons. Feeling a negative emotion isn't bad. It's just a part of being alive.
Sometimes they are telling you to take a break, or that you are taking too long of a break. However some still are harmful. Explaining how you feel is something children are supposed to learn. Yet many of us never did or when we did we got hurt ourselves.
However that's because there are so many who refuse to believe that you are supposed to feel negative sometimes. It's not bad. And of you ever get told feeling negative is only bad then maybe change up who your around or what you see online. If you need help doing either of those then please, don't feel afraid to ask. Especially someone like me.
Even if I feel too it doesn't mean I won't listen. Actually it means I have experience that could help you out. And no it doesn't matter how old you are as many people experience different things and also known others whom been through things they haven't themselves. There's also the thought of knowing what to do if you ever do have something happen that you've never felt yourself before.
I and many would agree that you need to feel emotions, just make sure no one gets hurt, even yourself and if they do apologize. Even if your apologizing to yourself. I promise you it can help. Go look in a mirror and apologize to yourself. No matter what for. That is if you want to. No rush. Of course no rush. And I know many don't like looking at themselves so I won't force you too.
RIP Krakoa 🌹 I can’t lie I’ve been kinda behind since midway through Fall of X I’m gonna catch up before my first SDCC this summer but I hear Vulcan didn’t see much action anyway. Anyway my hand slipped and I found myself looking into the eyes of my canonically psychotic son the best Summers brother who’s never done anything wrong in his entire life, (he’s done lotsa wrong things but I love him more for it)
i do think that cellbit and baghera aren't going to think richas and pomme are real-- i think they'll assume they're hallucinating, or that this is a trick from the eye, and they won't react well initially and might be really hostile. to them, there is no doubt their kids are dead-- they watched the ceiling collapse on them, and think there's no way they survived; that's why they've stayed in purgatory in the first place and why they've (tried to) stop caring about everything back on quesadilla island. being told by their kids that they are alive and came back for them would be really shocking and upsetting, considering that they ultimately failed to save them themselves and really did think they'd died.
i think ppl can and should project onto fictional characters. that's kind of what they're for a lot of the time. even if in the story they dont have the exact same experiences the audience can still find similarities with them and it's empowering to headcanon that, because of these similarities, the character has a similar identity to you. a lot of writers purposely give their characters experiences similar to marginalized groups to make those groups feel seen.
that being said, if you project your own experiences onto your blorbos you HAVE to be able to tell when the story is purposely making the character a metaphor for your experiences and when the story is. not doing that. just because you personally relate to a character doesn't mean the character literally is your marginalized identity. and it definitely doesn't mean that the writers hate your marginalized identity, specifically, if they don't do what you want them to do with that character.
Today at work I was changing a trash bag at the coffee station and I THOUGHT I saw a man approach out of the corner of my eye so I said hi and asked if I could help him (all while looking down) and we had a good back and forth conversation for a few minutes before my coworker came in and was like “who are you talking to?” And then I looked up and saw that there wasn’t a man there, and there never was a man there, and I was hallucinating
