DP x DC x DW crossover idea

Cadmus, using DNA samples of Superman and the Doctor that they’ve collected over the years, creates a Kryptonian/TimeLord clone hybrid. The clone, DNY-13, looks a lot like Superman while also having two hearts/binary vascular system. Sometime when the clone is about 4 or 5 he escapes from the lab. A portal to the infinite realms had opened up and the clone managed to wander into it without anyone noticing.

Clockwork, who’d opened the portal, was waiting on the other side for the clone. Clockwork then drops the clone off right outside the Fenton’s front door, rings the bell, and disappears. The Fenton’s find this tiny little toddler just standing on their front step and instantly fall in love with him. They bring him inside and look him over. He appears to be in perfect health, though the double heart beat is a bit odd. And he has a medical ID bracelet that declares him to be DNY-13, property of Cadmus, and the year of birth being almost thirty years in the future.

The Fenton’s decide to ignore the bracelet, cutting it off and hiding it away in one of their filing cabinets. They decide to name the tiny child, Danny, and quickly introduce him to his big sister Jazz. Danny grows up with the Fenton’s never knowing that he’s a clone hybrid of two different aliens. (Also in this au this is one of the reasons why Dani was so unstable when she was first created. Cause she was the clone of a clone that is half Kryptonian and half TimeLord. Something that Vlad didn’t know).

It isn’t until about five years after he becomes Phantom that he finds his old Cadmus medical ID bracelet in one of the filing cabinets in the ops center. He asks his parents about it and they finally tell him about how they found him on their doorstep when he was 4/5. Danny decides to consult Clockwork where he finds out that he was a clone created by Cadmus sometime in the future, and that Clockwork rescued him from them and gave him to the Fenton’s.

After finding this out, Danny decides to go searching for the two aliens who he was created from!

i adore in fics when people find out about julian’s enhancements and then julian lets down his guard and people can see an actual a change, like suddenly there’s something unfamiliar about him? something much deeper and mature? not because everything about julian before the revelation has been a SHAM or anything, i just like the idea of all these intelligent people having totally underestimated julian, the young, naive doctor, when really julian’s been one step ahead of them the whole time, letting them see him a certain way. the concept of others finally getting to see they had the wrong idea, especially back when they sort of saw julian as somewhat less than, the whole time. it’s about that moment of oh. he’s been the smartest guy in the room the whole time. them suddenly not seeing naivety, but seeing power. that. i like that.

genetic counseling appointment went really well 👍 she ordered a full intersex variations panel, a specific cyp21A2 test, and a chromosomal microarray. so hopefully within the next month or two i'll finally get confirmation on what exact diagnosis and subtype i have instead of my doctors saying "well we know you have a DSD but idk what type oh well" forever and ever!!!!!

do you think julian cherishes kukalaka so much because it’s the one thing that stayed the same and is still around to remind him of his life (of himself) before the genetic engineering? his old teddy bear is something he had (and brought him comfort) before he was essentially made into different person - a person his parents preferred him to be - without his consent. that’s the one thing he still has from his life as his natural self, something tangible from his life as little jules. that beat up teddy bear is the one thing he still has that was part of his old life he never got to choose and only gets to mourn.

The timeless child plot is not saying that the doctor is not a time lord. The Doctor is a time lord. Arguably it's saying they're The time lord more than they're saying they're Not one (and they're not really saying That either because Another thing this arc is saying is that refugees are exploited and this kid is a refugee unable to go home (even if they theoretically Could have gotten home, Tecteun decided to play finders keepers instead of the universal equivalent of taking a lost kid in a supermarket to the customer service desk)).

And I'm not sure if this is a terrible or uncomfortably apt metaphor to use considering the internal politics and/or history of the US of A but, I know for a Fact that at least one of your founding fathers was not born there yet is very much considered American because of said contributions to the nation's founding, so.

'there were already people On Gallifrey and the doctor wasn't one of them' yeah well there were already people living on the land that is now known as America. We know what happened there. My, you could almost say this whole plot is in fact a sci-fi critique of this colonialism type of thing. You know, saying it's awful. Time Lord society is BAD.

Now of course, the Child was kidnapped and exploited and played no willing part in what Gallifrey did, they were an innocent used for some very real horrors by adults around them, but as time went on the Race called the time lords established themselves, the Doctor is one of them. The first one, yes, but one of them all the same. What happened to establish the species is awful, but again, it's a critique, not a happy story.

(and btw even if this wasn't a Thing and the kid just was taken in and raised happily from a child and nothing bad happened they could still ID as a person of said society if they wished like i Swear)
