Okay so there’s been a whole debate going on about how Remus is characterized so here is my take on the matter

I personally hate the whole Casanova of Gryffindor tower thing. Remus is constantly terrified of being found out. He doesn’t want any one paying attention to him so he’s quiet and reserved. He spent his entire childhood locked away (I believe he was homeschooled)because his dad was ashamed of him and his mom was scared for him. Not being accustomed to social interactions at a young age definitely made him extremely socially awkward. So in my opinion, there is just no way he is the smooth flirt some have described him to be.

I also don’t like the super soft Remus. He is angry, ashamed and frustrated. He feels like the whole world is against him. But we still have to balance both out. He does not make scenes to express his anger, he just lets it boil inside.

Honestly if I had to describe him, I’d say he’s kind to those who deserve it (he’s not the kind of person who believes everyone deserves kindness ). His humor is self deprecation, sarcasm and being mean (he’s actually really funny). Humor is kind of an armor for him. It helps him threw hard times.

He is extremely anxious/paranoid. He doesn’t talk much but he’s not extremely quiet. He’s an incredible listener. Since he’s so paranoid, he’s always surveying how people look at him, their behavior... So he’s extremely observant. He knows most things before others do. He’s hard working because his father finds that important and he’s desperate to make him proud. He’s extremely empathetic because that’s a value his mother holds dear.

He doesn’t like school. He’s a queer man in the closet in the 70´s, a halfblood and a werewolf. School is basically hell for him. He gets more than okay grades but he’s not a prodigy and he doesn’t try to be. He only does the work because he doesn’t want to be called out by the teacher for getting a bad grade. Otherwise, he wouldn’t do the work at all. He loves reading because he can relate to certain characters and escape reality.

He has this ‘I don’t give a fuck’ attitude when he’s talking to strangers his age. If they are older though, he is remarkably polite. He is respectful towards his teachers and or any figure of authority. He doesn’t break rules because he’s scared of being called out by teachers,so he helped the marauders plan the pranks but he wasn’t the one to make them come to life.

He tends to take the easiest course of action even when it’s not necessarily the good one. He’s curious and he loves to learn. He absolutely despises change. He is a control freak but most of all he’s a perfectionist. He always feels like he has to compensate for his lycanthropy by being perfect at everything. He’s an amazing friend: caring and always ready to listen and help.

The best way to make him really really mad is to show him pity. He’s a raging pessimist. He gets angry rather easily and he as trouble controlling that anger. He makes fun of things like influencers and fashion. He refuses to go to the gym, plan his outfits or have a skincare. He never gets into fights because he thinks they’re stupid. He’s uncomfortable in group settings.He is easily annoyed.

This is way too long for no reason but I put too much effort into this to just delete it. So yeah… enjoy I guess.

Are you named after someone? Nope. I’m named after a project my father worked on (the Mars rover missions) and my mom’s favorite day of the week, Sunday.

When was the last time you cried? A few days ago. It was for a role though so that doesn’t really count (?). In a non-acting capacity I’d say a week ago when I had the wonderful realization that a 40 hour work week isn’t condusive to my creative process and school schedule and cried in relief as I put in my two-weeks notice.

Do you have kids? Nope and I don’t want to have any theough pregnancy. I don’t like the idea of being physically pregnant and my family has a few things genetically that I wouldn’t want to pass down to my children like breast cancer and ovarian cancer. But I want to adopt three kids someday—preferably preteens or teens because I hate knowing that there are kids going through life in foster care and are phased out of the system at 18 with no experience and they’re expected to either sink or swim. It’s pretty heartless tbh.

What sports do you play/have played? Oh gosh, okay, there’s a lot. I was captain of track for all four years, swim and dive for three. I was the ace pitcher of my HS’s baseball team. Played volleyball. Did tennis for a year but didn’t stick with it. I surf, skateboard, snowboard, and rock climb and I’m thinking of picking up dirt biking because my friends from my work won’t leave me alone about it.

Do you use sarcasm? I’m a writer. The answer is pretty self-explanatory. lol.

What is the first thing you notice about people? Their tells and mannerisms. I always notice if someone’s words match their mannerisms and behavior and that tells me half of what I need to know about the and what they won’t say aloud.

What’s your eye colour? Dark brown.

Scary movies or happy endings? In the words of Tulio and Miguel, both. Both is good.

Any talents? I can write and play a mean fiddle/violin solo. I also have a talent for injuring myself but bouncing back quickly and with little fear toward repeating the same mistake that got me hurt in the first play (broke my nose twice snowboarding, still go up to the mountains every winter).

Where were you born? The forests of North Carolina. My family has since moved.

What are your hobbies? Writing (the love of my life), going to the gardening center for more plants because there’s no such thing as too many, hiking, biking, running, rock climbing with friends, annoying/teasing my friends while they’re rock climbing, discovering something new in the city on my days off, camping, calling @remusjohnslupin a Sindar and cackling like a bog witch when she scolds me for it, etc… The list is endless.

Do you have any pet? I have a monster named Mitzy who claims to be a chihuahua but I know she’s a gremlin larping as a dog.

How tall are you? 5’10”. Idk how many centimeters that is exact. I think it’s ~178cm.

Favourite subject in school? English, geology, and art. I can’t pick so it’s a three-way draw.

Dream job? Writer-Director that moonlights as a contributing writer to Scientific American.

About Me

When did you first start writing ?

I first started writing in 5th grade. I had this chapter in English course book about a timid girl who learned to write stories with the help of her English teacher. Also, i was so much into fanfictions at theat time so i thought it would be a great idea to start novels.

Are the genres/themes you enjoy reading different from the ones you write?

I enjoy writing mystery, crime / psychological thriller, political Intrigue and historical , fantasy types writing but i enjoy reading cozy fantasy, mystery and crime thriller.

Is there an author (or just a fellow writer!) you want to emulate, or one to whom you're often compared?

Nope. Not really. I take inspiration from various sources but i never felt anything like this nor did anyone ever compared me to one.

Can you tell me a little about your writing space(s)? (Room, coffee shop, desk, etc.)

Mostly it is my bed, i do best when i am in my comfort space. Because i can't write anywhere else without being criticized for being "too much on my phone"

What's your most effective way to muster up some muse?

Idk honestly. I just look at things, random things at that and i get flooded with ideas. I just looked at a pen once an i got the idea. I also watch music videos of my favourite froups and get ideas. I watched the ODDINARY trailer of stray kids and i got a story idea which i am currently trying to write. I'm the worst person to ask this question.

Did the place(s) you grew up in influence the people and places you write about?

No. My writing life is pretty different from the way i live because of the need to be separated from reality. And i hate where i live so it wouldn't do me much favour.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing, and if so, do they surprise you at all?

Yep. Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, queer people, mystery, slice of life, fantasy, romcom and i turn everything gay because of the ✨spice✨ i feel in it. Sometimes it does surprise me because i originally started as only mystery and crime thriller writer. Slowly i evolved. And i never saw myself writing queer romance. But i am still learning and i will not give up trying my best.

My Characters

Would you please tell me about your current favorite character? (Current WIP, past WIP, never used, etc.)

This will get too long. My current favourite character is Dante from Beyond The Pages. Because i surprisingly found myself attracted to unhinged villain with no redemption but just an attractive smile, fashionista outfits and screw loose. My current WIP is Shades Of Erudition . Which i love dearly idk why i just got the idea. And I'm beginning to love Asterion too.

Which of your characters do you think you'd be friends with in real life?

Vesperine said Cleo for sure. Because i like their sense of humor and Cleo would probably let me in their friend circle. I hope so. And also probably Maurine because of her love for books. I'd probably sit for hours and hours at her house, her husband, however, would kick me out for taking too much of her time and giving him none.

Which of your characters would you dislike the most if you met them?

.... Dante probably also Dr. Anselm Ravenscroft and his puppy creation, Acheron. All the characters form Wicked Game, Wicked Fates . And more that i can't think of.

Tell me about the process of coming up with of one, all, or any of your characters.

This is... a very difficult question... haha...

Ok so sometimes i get the idea of the story forat and sometimes i get the characters first.

In the case of getting idea first, the character build is not hard to decide. I make up scenarios in my head and imagine stuff while listening to music that matched my story and i automatically get the idea.

But in the case of getting the character idea first.... it is freaking difficult because i only get the design idea and dialogues, but not the personality traits. So i spend days and weeks thinking of a story that would match my character so i can develop the character more. Some of my characters with no story are still waiting and I'm feeling guilty.

Do you notice any recurring themes/traits among your characters?

Probably it is intelligent/cunning bastard x strong sweetheart. I don't remember much maybe someone could remind me.. haha...

How do you picture them? (As real people you imagined, as models/actors who exist in real life, as imaginary artwork, as artwork you made or commissioned, anime style, etc

I imagine them as real people of course. Sometimes I'm so obsessed with it that i make a list of possible actors i want to play my characters. And i also imagine them as random people and artworks on pinterest too.

My Writing

What's your reason for writing?

Self enjoyment and the comments i get from people who take time to read my works. It makes me ecstatic. ♡♡♡

Is there a specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating coming from your readers?

Not specific. I find every comment really uplifting because it means that they read the whole thing. They read it and wrote, they took time for me. Because nowadays time is very precious and quite fast and nobody would want to spend it by reading some unknown person's probably worthless works. ♡♡♡

How do you want to be thought of by those who read your work? (For example: as a literary genius, or as a writer who "gets" the human condition; as a talented worldbuilder, as a role model, etc.)

I don't want much i just want to be thought as someone with great ideas and writing style. I hope i had a good fandom where people post about on Pinterests and Tumblr and people make tiktoks of my book in the future. Basically i want to be remembered. And loved.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

I feel very embarrassed to say this but i think it is my ideas and my ability to finally try and write different genres. And the fact that i don't give up.

What have you been frequently told your greatest writing strength is by others?

I think it is that i manage writing different types of genre. It was truly mesmerizing when drchenquill said that to me honestly because i always felt like i couldn't write any other genre than mystery, crime thriller and historical fiction. I feared trying out other genres too. And another one of my friends told me that the more ideas i get, the better it gets from the previous ones.

How do you feel about your own writing? (Answer in whatever way you interpret this question.)

I think that i have improved a lot since before but i have a lot to improve. I want to write beautifully, with prose and beautiful lines, i know it is not easy, like Erin Morgenstern, but like i said, like my ideas are evolving, my writing style will too.

If you were the last person on earth and knew your writing would never be read by another human, would you still write?

I would still write. With not so much enthusiasm as before because i really enjoy talking about my stories with others but i would still write because i started as someone with zero readers and i didn't stop there.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely what you enjoy? If it's a mix of the two, which holds the most influence?

I am influenced by both. But to me, my enjoyment holds the most value. Because if i don't enjoy what i write, nobody would enjoy it either. There are many ideas of mine that i love a lot but many of my friends do not like it but i still enjoy writing them because the feeling that i get when i get the whole idea, the ecstasy, it is so exciting and addicting that it becomes my hyperfixation for weeks.

Current Gen 2 Heir Stevie Blackwell has my heart rn so here’s 5 facts about her

1. When Stevie was a teen she used to smoke a lot so Vaughn sent her to rehab (Their relationship took a small hit but they came out stronger I think.)

2. She values a good sense of humor (it’s one of the reasons why she and Sean get on so well.)

3. She has bouts of restlessness (that and the still somewhat tough thoughts about parenthood are topics she’s working through with her therapist)

4. She loves her sisters but she doesn’t like them very much (leave em in a room long enough and an argument will ensue but this is common sister behavior imo)

U-KISS is back

I am obsessed with them and I feel like an island with the only Kiss Me left at times, but I will hype these men forever! If you don't know U-KISS yet, they're a 2nd gen K-Pop boygroup and If you want to stay around, I will tell you some stuff about them. If someone is genuinely interested in getting to know them, I can tell you pretty much ALL the tea, ups and downs and link you some of their stuff.

But let me get into this music video first! Their title track this time is called 'Stay with me'!

It's a slower track than I imagined, but I really love that we're going slower this time. The music video looks very simple, since it's only shot in one place, but I love every aspect of it! We have three different light settings, amazing costumes, a dance to die for and for most of the video I get to see and admire their beautiful faces and dance, without any shaky camera!! ALL THUMBS UP! WELL DONE!

I imagine that they saved a bit of money on the music video this time, since tango music is not exactly big and I'm not sure how well The Great Escape did last year. But they gave us TWO music videos this time and showed us that they're amazing idols who can keep us seated with just them and dancing. The amazing things can be better shown in gifs or by watching the actual video, so I recommend just paying attention to the dance. They put so much effort into the choreography, especially the part in the beginning, the timing is amazing. What I love most are the differen lights. We go from this:

And I love that they used Kiseop for this set of light first, because you can see them best with the contrast and light, but at the same time, you see how absolutely STUNNING Kiseop is.

I also love the costumes. I know they look simple and maybe a bit too loose, but I know that half of them like it that way. A word of appreciation: Hoon and Eli have enjoyed their private life a lot, but for this comeback they've been hitting the gym hardcore! Eli looks so good with the black hair and the outfit. I didn't like Hoon's hair at first, but styled like this and with his fierce singing I am thankful that the stylist knows better than me (I still miss his longer hair, though :') ) Xander is gorgeous as ALWAYS. I just love him, guys. I can't help it. Kiseop couldn't look bad if he tried to. And Soohyun... I love him. He has this princely look about him. I love his hair color and the cut, I love the outfit and how it fits. I love his thighs. To be honest, he lost a bit of weight? His thighs always were bigger and while we know he sometimes felt bad about it, I absolutely loved it. His pants jus sat best and he had an ass in any jeans. I loved (and still do love) that about him. Our handsome leader. <3

If you're knew to U-KISS: Hi! This is for you! In the pic above, from left to right we're seeing: Eli, Kiseop, Soohyun, Hoon and Alexander. Here I've listed the current members for you with some random information thrown in!

Soohyun (1989) - our beloved leader and main vocal Leader has always been there and sworn to always be there. His back has carried U-KISS to where it is now, all on his own. I won't go into too much detail, but this guy went and mended a broken group so that WE FANS would have a wonderful 15th anniversary. Now they're back to 5 members and I will forever adore, love and support Soohyun. His voice is perfection, no matter if live or on record, even when he's sick. During one of the concerts I attended, he kept disappearing from stage and soon later asked fans if it was okay if he sang sitting down because he didn't feel too well. I nearly dragged him of the stage myself, but he insisted on staying on stage and singnig for us. Because how can we have a concert without one of the main vocals ;_; He deserves all our love so much. Please love on him. <3 (I have TONS of other stories, write 1 in the comments to hear more XD)

Hoon (1991) - main vocalist Hoon was added later to the group (it was DRAMA back then, believe me) but I REGRET NOTHING BECAUSE I LOVE THIS MAN, OK? He has been my fave since then, he has the softest voice and it works so well with Soohyun. He works so hard and LOOK AT HIS LEGS. an always shows love to Kiss Me. I'm 100% sure Soohyun raised him to be like that because he talks like Soohyun, treasures us like Soohyun and is just in general kind of the "mom" of the group. When Soohyun went to the military, he was the substitute and kept the group together, I'm very sure. <3 He is married and just had his first baby, so I really appreciate that they are doing a comeback in this time!!

Kiseop (1991) - Ullzang, dancer and songwriter Our beauty of the group was added as just that: beauty of the group. But I remember he had this heartbreaking story where he just wanted to get a chance to be an idol because he wanted to be one, so they added a 7th member, after U-KISS had already debuted as a 6-member-group. ANYWAY... U-KISS is nothing without Kiseop. He wrote FLY, one of my all time favorite songs by U-KISS. He is my Kishibi and cutie. Hug him. (He is also married to a beautiful lady! <3)

Eli (1991) - rapper Once upon a time we called him pigeon, because he could do the impression of one. He is the funny guy, the rapper, he can speak English and Chinese and knows how to act. He was married and has a son! Our boy once left U-KISS and went back to America, but when Soohyun asked them to come back for the 15th anniversary, he showed up and I love that he stayed after that. I simply love him so much, he adds so much sound to the group. I missed him. I'm also so proud of everything he does.

Alexander (1988) - I don't even know, he's everything 🥺 Xander is MY MAN and he might say 100 times that he's too old for all of this, I think he's AMAZING and I NEED HIM in U-KISS! He was one of the main members who suddenly were kicked out of the group by the agency to be exchanged for 2 new members. (told you, there's a lot of tea in this group...) Well, Xander is a man of god and has the BIGGEST heart ever. He did some acting after that, had a solo song. He did many projects and he works a lot for arirang, since he is fluent in Korean and English. When I say he has the biggest heart, I mean it, because he showed up when Soohyun called and he is here now with us, blessing us with his existence. You have to imagine, he didn't do much idol work since 2011 (!!!) and he simply came back for us Kiss Me. When I tell you I cried happy tears when he was revealed for the 15th anniv comeback, I mean it literally. If I had a bit more budget, I would have flown over there for the anniversary concert. I still haven't seen him perform live T_T Anyways, he is amazing.
