it's based off a batfam comment I saw that mentioned in the early comics Bruce knew about Talia's pregnancy and was ecstatic to be a father. So much so that Talia feared he'd give up being Batman for it, so when she gave birth she put the baby (Damian) on a doorstep and (seemingly) told Bruce that the baby was stillborn.

I saw it, thought "mm, tasty!" and thought what if that baby was Danny instead of Damian? By default I was thinking of making him a few years older, however, it works just as well with demon twins. I need to think it over. Meet Daniel Brown! 14 year old foster kid whose been with the Fentons for the last two years! He has SO many issues haha. hah. lmfao even.

I need people to realize how horrible 'stalking/constant surveillance/breaking into each other's homes is how the Batfamily show love' is. Like i really need someone to just acknowledge how horrific saying this bullshit is.

Like even fics where they're shown as happy and healthy and with good ties, you've always got this thing where none of them have privacy or any boundaries with each other. Which is directly antithetical to actually having good relationships. And this invasion via hacking and stalking and breaking into homes is portrayed as a positive, good thing; it's just how they show love and care to each other, after all. But for some reason I just personally don't find stalking, lack of privacy or boundaries, and emotional manipulation funny, endearing, or healthy, and just end up disgusted at the attempt to sweep it all under the rug.

You cannot have the attitude that people who complete suicide are selfish or are ungrateful or immature. If your mindset about suicide isn't coming from compassion rather than judgment, it won't help suicidal people. You will never help us with a slap on the wrist and a lecture about how we're awful for even thinking about completing suicide.

Everyone is always talking abt how much Link hates Oakworthy and they’re absolutely right but if you ask me the funniest part about it is that he’s trying to play it cool. Like he’s so goddamn excited to get a chance to shittalk Hermie but as soon as Normal expresses that he’s still into him (he needs him), Link backs off. He’s giving Normal a big thumbs up and telling him to go get his man, but then leaning down to whisper to Scary about how much he hates Hermie’s stupid theatre kid ass as soon as he turns away. Every description about Nico (especially the canon ones) describing him as “cold” can personally fight me. Nico is jaded, yes, and often closed-off and sometimes stand-offish and defensive but he is not "cold”. He cares SO SO SO MUCH about EVERYONE. He loves and cares with his entire heart constantly and that is a core part of his character. He doesn’t often make public shows of his affection but he takes care to be kind when it matters and doesn’t hide that he does care (usually, the only exception really being him being in the closet, but even then he only hid his crush specifically and not the fact that Percy is important to him). He fine with hugging his friends in front of a crowd and will sit with strangers at a campfire just so they’re not alone. I mean, heck, he’s an extrovert! We know this! He actively seeks out people and gets lonely very quickly and easily! If he can’t talk to living people he will chat with the dead! That’s how much he thrives on being social!

The only time Nico has ever been actively “cold” was the couple of months between TTC and BoTL when he was actively mourning Bianca. Nico is not “cold.��� He loves so much and he does show it, just in his own way.

also i think in my last post i made a comment about him having an apartment, but — now that i've been thinking about it, i think he keeps the house. the one he bought when you first got married. and he wanted you to have it, because it's an unfortunate, undeniable fact that you will end up having your son more than he will, just due to the nature of his job, and so he wants to know you're both well taken care of and he doesn't want his son to have to change from the house he's been growing up in.

but you had to sit in it, all alone, for so long, and now he wants you to live there ? in the house he bought, surrounded by all the things he bought for the two—and then the three—of you ? you just cant stand it without him any longer and so you refuse, telling him that he should keep it because it's his, really, but — what the hell is he gonna do in a lonely four-bedroom house, all by himself ? it's a very large argument for the both of you, and even though you tell him to sell it or rent it out at least, he won't. the concept offends him, because he's still holding onto the hope that the three of you will inhabit it again one day 🥺

and you have dinner at least once a week. it's the only way he would agree to signing the papers. no matter what happens, if you can't work it out—because he still thinks you can—at least he'll be able to see you and his son. at least he'll be able to pretend, for just a little while, that things are okay again.
