any dave music hcs? :) my playlist for him mostly consists of relatively popular rock music. besides wacky but awesome garageband beats, i personally think he’d be a rocknroll radio hits kinda guy, at least for pre-sburb dave, i don’t think he’d have as much freedom to really explore music the way he wants before then. some of my favorites for him are all mixed up (311), superman’s dead (our lady six), bound for the floor (local H), everything to everyone (everclear), inside out (eve 6) and birds (butthole surfers). i also think he’d like metal too! particularly nu metal. even if mixing music and rapping is an outlet for him, i see him relating to these types of songs a lot and maybe at the time when his #ironiccoolguy persona is most prevalent + affecting his interests/personality heavily, he’s embarrassed about admitting his popular favorites b/c it’s not cool to him to like what’s mainstream. but you know character arc! and besides when the earth explodes no music is really popular anymore LOL. btw i liked your davejade music posts ^_^ so i’m very curious if you have any thoughts for dave music on his own!

nmesh dream sequins is another album i can see him listen to, the cream of the crop for experimental vaporwave (the type of slowing samples in vaporwave was a technique pioneered by dj screw who i think dave would also dig, as it essentially manipulates time and thats Cool). probably likes oneohtrix point never too, an experimental electronic artist who also took inspiration from screw

maybe a bit of biting tongues, one of my favorites. he couldve been led to it going down the eno hole. probably his favorite album being recharge (1989)

as for rock i’m pretty sure dave strikes me as a psychedelic / experimental rock type of dude. so yeah pink floyd is still on the table especially early with syd barrett (the piper at the gates of dawn (1967) and a saucer full of secrets (1968)). but i think he can like later after that (of COURSE he feels drawn to the song ‘time’ lol i bet he’d want to replicate the atmosphere of the song’s beginning in his own stuff). he likes this kinda sound. he i can definitely see him being a ween fan for sure, especially quebec (2003) or their satire art/prog rock album the mollusk (1997) —the latter of which i could see him bonding with jade over DEFINITELY just listen to the titular song — but really the whole discography. or a zappa fan. maybe a dip into metal if its experimental or funky like primus or zillatron (bootsy collins alias)

i have to mention that these are all bands i like to some degree because to know what they sound like and if they fit dave ive had to listen to them lol. but yeah so that could put some bias into it and theres surely more stuff he would listen to i dont know but heres a portion of what i see from where i am

"the tombstones were waiting" line in bang the doldrums. i shant even elaborate u can pick up what i'm laying down!

I was dating Jake for some months, and i do know that him and Tara are just friends. But he seems to like her and not me, i feel like hes using me sometimes... And he doesn't even notice, i feel likw he thinks its love but it's actually just a band-aid for his bruises.

Tara was my best friend so it was 100x worse because you can't vent about it to her, she will say that its fine and he loves me not her. But i don't want that, i want someone to listen and help me solve it, i knew she won't do it.

We are filming a video in my house. We are testing pool toys and answering some questions the chat sent to one of Jake's posts. Johnnie was streaming so it was just me, Jake and Tara. They were filming like i wasn't there, i just grabbed some stuff and tried it by myself while they were trying stuff together. It felt like she was his girlfriend not me.

"Y/n this one is for you!" I looked at Jake as he began to read the question. "Is there anything you'd change about Jake?" I got nervous, of course there was, I wanted him to love me. But saying that now? I wasn't even ready to tell Tara about it imagine telling him with millions of people watching.

I couldn't tell anything else because i wouldn't change anything else in him. "Yes, I would. I would change the way he sees me." Jake and Tara got confused, they looked at eachother to see if either of them knew anything but both didn't know

"What do you mean babe?" Jake asked me and i just turned around and grabbed another toy to try out. He kept trying things, but he was more silent now, Tara was also silent since he was not talking much with her.

We kept asking questions and trying stuff, but it wasn't that fun anymore, so Jake just stopped recording. As soon as he turned the camera off i walked inside and went to our room. Jake noticed and followed me there.

He opened the door and saw me in the bed with my laptop watching cartoons. "Hey babe can we talk" i got a little nervous, but I just sighed "yeah i guess we can" he sat down next to me.

"What did you mean with you'd change the way i see you" i closed my laptop and looked at him, i wasn't mad, but i was exhausted so i was being kinda rude. "You really want to know?" He looked at me in the eyes and nodded. "I want you to see me how you see Tara, she's your ex and sometimes it seems like you prefer her, she's got you mesmerized, while i die! I cant hate her, she's my best friend, she's an angel, but then again kinda wish she was dead... Or not maybe its a strong word but gone at least in your life... Jake... i wish i was Tara..."

He looked at me concerned, i looked like i was crying but nothing was coming out of my eyes. I wanted to cry but i couldn't, my stomach is spinning and I feel sick. He wraps his arm around me and pulled me close, my head resting in his chest.

"Look im sorry for making you feel like that, but i don't love her, im over her i promise you! Me and her are just friends, we're close but just close friends who like to do shit, im sorry for not giving you attention. I promise to give you more attention from now on, i really love you Y/n... I really do..."

His hand running up and down my arm. He kissed my forehead and grabbed my chin making me face him. I looked In his eyes and gave him a gentle peck. "Sorry for overthinking... I just really... I dont wanna lose you, especially not to her, she's my best friend and I'd had to see that every day..."

"You won't i promise you... Now... Wanna go to some 711 to get smth" he said smiling at me and getting up. "Again? Okay why not." I laughed and hugged him.

day one tbs tour. matchbook romance picks us up. our trailer breaks down on the south side of chicago. spend the night at tony from mest’s house. ditch the trailer and continue to iowa without much equipment or much merch. if you see us in the next couple of days throw some pennies into wells and make some eyelash wishes for us so we can get some better luck. too bad this tour is gonna be so amazing no matter what happens, luck couldnt touch us.

After releasing her new album Endless Summer Vacation on the 10th of March 2023, Miley decided to add a new song to the album on the 25th of August 2023, which is the beautiful, nostalgic, heartfelt ballad that is Used To Be Young.

In this song, Miley explores how all her life she has had people critic her every move, every relationship, every mistake, every achievement, every single thing. But low and behold, she has come back with a vengeance to prove that every thing she did when she was a younger person after coming out of child acting does not represent who she is today.

After leaving a very public, long-term relationship with Liam Hemsworth, she went onto finding herself and expressing nothing but love to herself and figuring out life as a single woman with no romantic obligations and possibly having to revisit some memories to help heal. Which has led us to Used To Be Young.

Over the years, Miley strived to quieten down her image after being labelled the "wild Disney child" and receiving worldwide backlash just for simply expressing herself the way she wanted to through music and her passion of performing. Whilst many of her peers looked down on her for her choices, she stuck her ground during those times and and lived her best life and then when the time came, she bettered herself and has come out on top more magnificent than ever.

Used To Be Young focuses on how in her past she was aware of her past behaviors and the way she publicly showcased them, but all she was doing was living unapologetically young. Like a majority of humans, there comes a time in our lives where we reach a point and realize to yourself; this is it, I have to change. I have to let go and let people know I am not that person anymore and I want to live the real me. The sounds behind the lyrics are very light and helps keep a very sentimental value about the songs meaning to its core.

Some breakdowns of relationships / friendship's whittle down to one thing; change. One person wanting to calm down and find happiness in other things, and the other refusing to change. There are so many factors into a breakdown of any type of -ship, but its how we progress forward and learn and heal from it that matters more than anything. Acknowledging the fun times are a good thing, which is what Miley does in this song with "But god damn, it was fun" - its okay to say you miss the good times you had, but just because they were good times doesn't mean that they weren't also hurtful in the long run.

We as growing adults forget that when we were teenagers and young kids, we all lived as we pleased when it came to love and figuring out the world and did the utmost best that we could to make sense of it all, but one thing we did do for certain? Make mistakes. A lot of them. And how you process those mistakes, whether it be in 2 weeks, 5 months or 10 years, will all involve realizing that you used to be crazy, you used to be wild, people WILL say time has changed you, but you will know that is okay, because it made you who you are today.

And no, you cant change the past, you can't erase memories, but what you can do is pick yourself up and learn. You can change your future and that's exactly what Miley Cyrus is doing. She's realizing that all the thing's she's done in the past were not because she was wild, crazy, fun. It was because she Used To Be Young, and now its time to move on.

CONCLUSION: An absolutely beautiful melody accompanied by the raw talent that is Miley. The production on her songs never fail to amaze me, alongside with the emotions that blend into the lyrics that make you dive deep into your own personal life and start doing some self reflecting. Her forever changing tone of voice and impeccable range whether it be low or high is just breathtaking. Looking forward to hearing her future projects and how she's going to continue navigating the world as Miley Cyrus.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞

Sorry this isn't an RP, I just had a thought and had to write it down and I wasn't sure where else to do it haha. This is a quick drabble about 'the weekly boss' in the Golden House, separating him from Childe as a character. It's stupid and sorta abstract, but if you wanna pass 5 minutes, here you go!

Every week you come to a house made of gold.

Every week. Without fail. The same day, the same time. I could count down to the very second of your arrival. Between these minutes, these hours and days without you, I counted each coin that scatters the floor, I could blindly trace each divot and line that makes up the art of the ceiling and walls.

There are no windows, the only clue to the changes of the day are the footsteps outside, the guards swapping places or complaining about their duties- their long trivial waits until the sun rises or falls and they return to a place of warmth, of home, of family.

I had a family, I think. I had an idea of what a home might look like. I'm not sure I can even translate the word into my native tongue anymore. In fact, I think I may have forgotten my own language all together. How much time would have to pass for that to happen? To have drowned yourself in a vat of someone else's design? Who's life am I leading?

The same, if not similar, thoughts occur every day. I no longer have the ability to answer them. The questions, an unanswered song that echoes off the walls of this chamber.

And then you arrive.

Every week. Without fail. That is to say, you always manage to best me. Somehow, I don't mind the defeat. Somehow, it feels like that might be what I was made for. Somehow, it feels like I've lost something in allowing that thought in.

Every week. You may bring new faces. People who I've never seen, speaking in a dialect I've never heard. Some times it's not you, but you are there. Because you come every week, without fail.

The pattern is the same, yet I can't seem to learn from my mistakes where you do. I am something. I become more of that something. Then I become something else all together.

A creature I cant remember the name of dances across the handmade marble below, it falls into the sky and soars in to the floor. It's terrifying, but you're not scared. Even if I whittle you down to fewer and fewer, you are never scared. You never hesitate. I suppose you cant afford to.

Those moments are brief. Playing this part I was designed for, the minutes of your life I am meant to part take in - nothing more, but could be less. So I never take them for granted.

And then you win. And then it's over. And then you leave. Triumphant. A warrior from the stars.

I am left with the lasting imprint of the memory of your back. I do my best to forget your face, so I have something to look forward to.

And though as proud as I sound during the height of the fray and the power I unleash as the water I command is laced in our blood- a fearful thought controls my every motion; Will this be the last time?

You didn't come this week. I gave you the grace of a minute, of an hour or so. But you never came. You poured concrete into my worries and fixed them in place with your absence.

But what else can I do? I will count every coin, trace every line, continue to forget my tongue as I listen to the faceless voices and the songs of my queries.

(haii halfway throught this i realized theres like def already a recap somewhere but man. im not throwing all of this out. hope its useful mwah)

Maximus finds an old commercial cc!Cellbit did when he was younger (where he sings) and puts it on loop in a huge screen in front of Cellbit's house in the favela.

Forever and Richarlyson finish the copacabana ocean project and prepare to inagurate it.

Cellbit arrives in the favela with Forever, and a bunch of other people (Foolish, Baghera, Phil, Maximus) are there because Forever is gonna inagurate the new ocean soon (break the blocks stopping the water from filling it). Everyone is singing along to the commercial and Cellbit is mortified. And pissed.

Forever covers the corner of the screen with protected blocks so only he can take it down or stop it, so the commercial is just playing on loop at a loud volume. Forever says since he had to listen to it for days straight while he worked on Copacabana, Cellbit does too. Unless he sings the song. Cellbit refuses.

The ocean inauguration happens. It's awesome, Forever gives a little speech about wanting to show the world the crazy shit brazilians can do and represent a little of our culture to the world.

Cellbit is now wearing some weird futuristic mask.

Cellbit asks and bargains but no one will tell him who did this, every single person just says it wasn't them. Until Richarlyson tells him it was Max.

Cellbit asks Max if it was him, and Max just tells him no.

He can hear the song even from his secret headquarters, and Cellbit says he's moving out.

He calls for Cucurucho, he wants to make a deal.

While he waits for an answer, he goes to Max's AI, SOFIA and restricts everyone's acess by tricking it.

Cucurucho answers him and Cellbit says he wants revenge. If they want to humiliate him by bringing up his past, they're gonna fucking get his past.

He asks Forever to meet him in that one room that mimicks where Cucurucho killed him, and there, with Cucurucho present, he tells him he wants full custody of Richarlyson, and that he doesn't trust anyone at Ordo Theoritas anymore, and is stopping the investigation.

Forever is FURIOUS and takes this as a huge betrayal.

Afterwards, Cellbit tells Richas he doesn't think Forever is capable of protecting him, and writes and gives him a book that the audience doesn't see.

Cell tells Roier he's trying to get Bobby back(lie?? we do not know) and wants him by his side at court.

Forever goes to BBH to ask for his help because his english isn't as good as Cellbit's and he's afraid that's gonna make him lose at the custody hearing.

Cellbit and Richas are attacked by the Binary, he tells Richas to run and he does, but Cell dies and disappears.

Richas tells Forever what happened, and that he's really confused and afraid of everything going on, but he loves all his dads so much. Forever puts him to sleep and calls everyone left on the server (Roier, Max, BBH and Baghera) to meet at Ordem Theoritas. He sits at the head of the table, Cellbit's chair.

Forever is so fucking pissed and confused, he doesn't get why Cellbit is suddenly aligning himself with the Federation, abandoning all his work, all because of the fucking song? He says he hopes it's all a plan to trick Cucurucho and get more info, but he's afraid that it isnt. He tells everyone abt what happened and asks for their help. He says Roier could be useful because Cellbit likes him. And that now that Cellbit stopped investigating Cucurucho, they need all hands on deck.

Forever takes down the commercial and logs out.

Fucking Quackity logs on and tells Richas about Juanaflippa. He says her parents also had a courtcase, and that she died soon after, and as 1% his father, he cant let that happen to him too. He tells him to write letters to his papais and go away with him for a while and come back after they figure themselves out. He does, and they leave by boat.

The other dads are yet to find out Richarlyson left.
