today is the first time a doctor has ever examined my stomach and told me something was wrong. something physical that he could see and touch. he told me something was wrong with me. and it made me so happy.
something was wrong even when my labs were clear. i’m allowed to be happy to get bad news because it means i finally have answers. and answers is something i spent my childhood praying for. so yes im happy to be told something is wrong with me. because something was wrong before anyone believed me. now i just have proof

People underestimate burnout, but if you consistently press through burnout like I did for 20+ years, you can end up with stress related illnesses that last forever and don't go away... Stress can 100% unalive even the healthiest of people. You could be in physical pain the rest of your life. Rest now. Anyone being mean to you about it can get lost.

i finally was able to use the bathroom after taking another dose of milk of magnesia this morning. i’m hoping i stop being backed up after this. i’m gonna eat some ramen for lunch cuz i haven’t eaten at all today and it’s one of the times where the dining hall barely has anything good.

Hi. I've started this tumblr asking for help to reach a Kofi goal. I lost my job and suffer from chronic sciatica pain and IBS which has limited my overall movements. I am asking for financial help. You can find the link in my description.

Did you know that when you don't eat, your body starts a cleaning process in your intestines called the migrating motor complex (MMC)? 🌿 These wave-like contractions clear out food particles and bacteria, preventing issues like small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) and supporting overall gut health.
To harness this natural cleaning, try eating larger meals just three times a day. 🍽️ This allows the MMC to complete its cycles between meals, leading to:
🌟 Improved digestion
⚖️ Stable blood sugar levels
🧘 Enhanced satiety

I love being told that the help I'm given means I owe something to the person who helped me 🙃 Like don't help me, then.

The worst part of when I throw out my back isn’t so much the pain. Trust me it sucks but then when you’ve been in pain for a few days and you realize you’ve been taking so much tramadol that you haven’t shit in 3 days. And then continue to not be able to properly shit for a week. It makes everything worse.

ok so i added 2 strawberry kiwi packets to my trilyte and refrigerated it before i drank it, despite what people say online it is in fact much easier to just plug your nose and gulp that shit down instead of drinking it through a straw like. girl how tf would drinking it through a straw make things Easier? like. also i chased it with this knock off sprite lemon lime soda to make it a helluva lot easier .
also i turned it into a drinking game, just watched drinking game videos (more like A Video) on youtube until i finished the whole thing between the night before and the morning before, it makes it a lot easier when you play along with rules where you have to drink it
also to me, the sensation of drinking trilyte, like of it being in your mouth reminds me of drinking salt water 🤢🤮 (cause even though i plugged my nose the whole time the warm salt-water-esque sensation was still there 🤢)
