Johns a pooka, an irish fae trickster who shapeshifts into animals. his favorite form is the bunny. john and jane are both fae, so their pranks range from harmless to mentally scaring to life altering. absolute chaos grimlins. dirk is also an irish myth, so he knows them well and is often trying to get them to not ruin the local population of humans. so they do pranks on him insted. john loves to steal dirks head and hide it places.

rose speaks to the eldritch horrors and is slowly becoming one herself. she wants to become a litch.

Dave is a harpy! a very chill one who doesn't tend to sing with his full chest, so people dont start crashing into his doorstep. dave dies in some magic accident that caused davesprite to rise up from the ashes. but dave harpy is ALSO fine no ones really sure how. may have been roses doing.

Jade is a werewolf obv. but shes also a witch and has formed a coven with rose and roxy.

Jane is ur avrage fae faerie/sprite. her favorite fae rule to get people to break is "dont eat their food."

Roxy is both a cat who is also a wizard i need not elaborate

Dirk is a headless horseman. not to be confused with THE headless horse man. thats another dullhan with a well paying halloween gig. dirk is often subject to losing his head, so he made a magic pumpkin to pilot the body when this happens. he does have a very large and scary but beautiful horse.

Jake is the bigfoot. and one of the most well hunted (and well travled) cryptids. thus, his friends often make jokes of not ever seeing him except in blurry images. its not his fault hes very large and loves to travel! and is also not very photogenic...

Aradia is a monthra!!! however she made a deal with a devil and became a ghost... not sure WHY yet or why it kills her. but it does. its all in her plan or smth, but that doesnt stop sollux from being very upset that hes the one that has to take and keep her soul. she is reserected later by the coven, still soulless but it doesnt matter bc her soul is in good hands and thus she still feels it. shes much happier now.

Tavros is a minotar self explanatory he is a small minotar, tho. a mini minotar if u will.

Sollux is ur run of the mill soul for potato chip demon. an excuse to give him twin tails and horns. him an kitkat gave me the most trouble! but then i went with a solkat devil angel motifi and im kinda attached t9 it now. even if its sorta a cop out. i simply couldnt find twin creatures that werent gods or children of gods. nor any crab creatures...

Karkat is an angel. he WAS human notably he was human for awhile even good friends with kanaya before he died. he never found love but helped so many with theres that he became an angel that was a lot like cupid. thus he was a small angel incharge of match making and also likened to a baby and hes very much NOT happy about this. it pisses him off, solluxs often gives him a hard time. about it. (extra angst is that kitkats also really fucked up about never knowing what love felt like but having to give it to others. and he has it in his head that that means he never will know, bc no ones matchmaking the matchmaker. but theres a song he hears everyonece anwhile by a stray harpy that makes him feel a lot lighter.)

Nepeta is my go to cat creature a nekomata. a two tailed cat yokai.

Kanaya is a vampire. obviously.

Terezi is a dragon! still blind! still licks. but can now transform and has wings, very scary. shes basiclly just her lusus lmao.

Vriska is a spider lady. i have arachne here bc its similar, but shes not arachne the myth proper. shes just a spider with the top part of a woman at the head. A Jorogumo a spider lady yokai and is basically actually what im picturing.

Equius is a centar and fuck if i ever have to draw him....

Gamzee is a clowwwn, just a clown, just a silly lil guy. What do you MEAN clowns arnt mythical creatures??? what do u mean u saw him under ur bed when you were a child? u must be mistaken. as a nod to ICPs boogieman. when gamzee is not high as a kite and is just a clown, he is one of the most terrifying and unkillable creatures known to children kind.

Eridan is a selkie. basiclly a mermaid but part seal. personally, I'd like to make him part seahorse. but not in the hippocampus way. i chose this bc he can shapeshift, thus he pretends to be a high elf sorcerer, yes he does get dunked on about this.

And finally, Feferi is a siren! who happens to be able to become very VERY **VERY** BIG. she doesnt lure people to drown them but she DOES love to keep live captives in cages :)

But no worries, he does find you absolutely cute, thinks you are prettiest person walking on earth (and you are all that actually). Listen, he wont magically turn into huge simp..but! you make him feel things. Congrats, you have high chance to broke Jeff and make him lovely-dovely on his weird way towards you! No matter if you are already in relationship with him or not, he gest pretty possesive and jealous over you! Come on, you cant be all pretty and cute AND have everyone all over you! Jane gives me huge femme fatale vibes so i feel like you would really vibe together (no matter your gender)! And come on!! She understands the need of revenge like no one else!! Jane wants to beat Jeff ass! Adores you so much..not only you are absolutely gorgeous but also pretty smart too! Appearance matter in some way to her, but I think she would actually be into intelect and personality more than how you look like. And the fact that you are such a great manipulator!! You will make her fall in love with you even more. She is such a cutie im telling you! Jane is jealous but she puts that aside all that aside and she just worries about your yeah well technically you cant die, but what damage your brain will damage your brain and stay for long time! Demon partner with demonish partner? Isnt that perfect? Yeah yeah, you are diffrent from eachother but definitely have common ground, arent you? Dunno why but I feel like your charm wouldnt work on him just becasue of what he is. That doesnt mean that he doesnt find your ass cute tho! He just you know..its not really obsessive but more of actual feelings. Even if other pastas fell in love with your character too, then Jack would be a bit diffrent and at first fell for who you are and not what you look like! When it comes to possible of jealousity, he is not that much of envious about people who you flirt with/or they flirt with you! He clearly understands that you do it more for your..entertainment and to cause chaos (and maybe some sort of revenge). Also he is immortal, you are immortal - best couple to ever exist! You will spend eternity with eachother so he doesnt have anything to worry about!

Damn reader, you will break Toby! He gets so shy and so blushy around you.. Especially if you are flirting with him! Doesnt really like the idea of you and other people being a bit flirty. He gets jealous easly and it leads him to being insecure and doubtful of himself - he knows that he is not perfect, and all your actions make him even more anxious. Toby does care so much about your opinion so he just bottles it all up, not wanting to mess up even more! But I bet you are smart human being and feel that something is wrong. - grace has watched richies funeral 376 times. she's counted. she can recite to you exactly what each person says and does

- paul is having some trouble with his hearing after richies death. he wasn't that close with his nephew, but the loss is still hitting him. he can only hope its shock. something tells him its not.

- emma is also having trouble with her hearing. she has not told paul, and she will not tell paul. she will not be losing her hearing like her sister. even if it doesnt feel like thats the cause of it, she won't.

- speaking of, i made jane hard of hearing. i dont know why exactly it fits her in my mind, but it does. her and her family are mostly fluent or entirely fluent in american sign language, as is emma. she wears hearing aids

- max is scared of the dark. the black is a very dark place. richie and ruth have yet to encounter the problem of darkness. in fact, ruth has been having some trouble with seeing past the stagelights in front of her

- ruth and richie have their own personalized rooms. a stage/large theatre, and a cozy little room with a fridge and a large tv. max does not get as pleasant of an afterlife as this.

- jerry grew up vegan. he's not sure what his parents would say about his diet.

How would you write Feferi to be more important? I'd probably have her interacting with the Harleyberts if only to bring back the weird connections they have cause of the Condesce

Hmm okey fuck this is a complicated one, i'm not the type to rewrite homestuck besides silly aus, with the Earth C Au being like, the biggest one in there and is not really a rewrite of The Epilogues/HS 2 and more of it's own separate thing

-Feferi's biggest contribution to the plot in Homestuck is the creation of the Dream Bubbles so I think like a good way to make her more important to the plot is making her necessary in the whole Lord English/Calliope/Treasure Hunt thing? Like who is going to know better in how to look for something in the Dream Bubbles than Feferi who created them? Like have her as a Guide, someone who you ask when you get lost or have questions and stuff

-Another one could be Feferi visiting Jade's dreams in her 3 year journey. I know that for some reason June and Jade couldnt really visit the dreambubbles a lot while in the ship? Was it ever explained why? Anyway I think you could make Jade have rare dreams where she meets Feferi, like maybe is the only bubble that is close by for her to have dreams in but Feferi is the only ghost there for reasons. Or maybe she is not the only ghost there but is the only one who Jade knows. You could make it for Jade to have this rare but important convos with her, maybe they have a tumoltuos relationship with her as they don't really get along at times but theyre the only other person there who you know so you push for a friendship that starts not the Best but becomes something comforting in this three year alone journey.

That is a way to give her more relevance even if she is dead, if you want to bring her back or make her stay alive entirely you could do:

-Eridan didnt kill her, she either survived the blast, avoided it or she was healed by her God Tier Ghost version, it doesnt really matter. Feferi survived but everyone else didnt and Gamzee hide the corpses/Vriska wants to wait to prototype them or smt. So now Feferi is part of the meteor crew, yay, that also means Sollux probably dump her right there, not yay

So what could Feferi in the three Journey? She could be learning how to use her powers as a Witch of Life without being God Tier so she can help in the upcoming battle, she could evolve a deeper friendship with Karkat as he was the other closest person to Eridan (yes Feferi/Karkat friendship, it's my blog I can do whatever I want/jk), she could help the crew how to navigate the bubbles better. She could join to fight the Condesce or maybe go fight the Jacks if she doesnt want to fight her. Help Jane and Jake with their fight tho

-This option is if she dies but is brought back to life later. We don't really find out a lot about the shenanigans of the Alpha Kids and their dreams, all of them lost their dream self so they had to be in the Dream Bubbles when they slept. Sooo you could make Jane befriend Feferi there! Or Roxy as they got along as Fefetasprite I feel they could befriend even if she is not fefeta anymore.

In her friendship there they could talk about Alternia and the Condesce, failed romance, etc. Maybe because of this friendship, Jane wants to revive her even though Feferi says it would probably be imposible to do without her body. Anyway the whole shenanigans happens and they revive her in the lilypad! Maybe with the rest of the trolls tho, it honestly depends on how you want to write it.

Headcanons and what not.

-Doesn't work for slenderman. Never wanted to. It was Slenders mind control, his heavy influence. The people he killed? Not as many as you think. But the people he did kill, it wasn't his fault.

-Hates Slenderman. Like absolutely despises him. The only thing Slender was good for was giving him a place to stay, even if it wasn't much.

-Slender mansion? Slender manor? No. Abandoned campsite? Log cabins in the woods? Yes. He shares a cabin with Cody (X-virus), and Jeff used to be there until he got kicked out (literally) for trying to cut a smile into Cody and Tobys masks and faces. They got Liu to replace Jeff.

-Decent friends with: Cody (has to because they live together), Nina (she likes him more than he likes her but its okay), Natalie (they've always been chill), Liu (they're buddies, not like besties, but still friends), Helen (they do art together), Kate (guitar + mission buddies).

-Clothing is usually whatever he has that still fits him. Some of it is from an emo era he went through and is still in. So like, band t-shirts, studded belts, raccon tail clips, chains, ect. But sometimes he goes for more casual which is usually sweaters and baggy pants.

-Appearance. He had a fringe at one point but grew it out. Never cuts his hair, so it gets in his way a lot (ponytail is the solution). Curly hair but straightens it a lot of the time. Piercings galore. Hazel eyes ((note: sometimes I give him heterochromia cause it's cool)). Pale skin but not like the original Toby kind of pale. Has always been tall for his age but stopped growing around 18-19 because he was going through a tough time and food was hard to come by, he was too scared to steal, the food Slender gave him could have been poisoned, who knows? So hes left as about 5'10-5'11. Hes pretty thin but is slowly building muscle as time goes on. Has some chub in the stomach but he isnt too worried about it.

-His mask is made of a thick fabric on the outside and has metal bars on the front of the mask to almost represent a mussel (canon).

-Doesnt actually like turtlenecks, they make his neck feel trapped and weird. But he wears them anyways because they hide his proxy symbol that was permanently engraved in his skin (by Slender).

-Fingerless gloves? Yessir. They help cover his scared hands. As well as they just look cool. And whenever he kills someone it's less likely he'll get his dna on the body.

-Raccoon person. Collects things he finds that others would consider trash. Like pop tabs, broken glass pieces, shiny things, rocks, ect. Messy hair. Just like his personality gives off raccon.

-Cheek gash is because he chewed the inside of his cheek so much that the skin tore. And he didn't really care so the hole kept getting bigger until eventually he got himself to stop chewing it. But now the gash is too big to heal.

-Has a couple guitars that he stole from music shops. The only one he didn't steal was one he got When he was first taken in. Slender gave it to him as "something to do" when he's bored. At first he didn't want it and never touched it. But he soon realised that it was really boring there. He tries to forget that Slender gave it to him. It's really beaten now, has worn down spots, and a bit of old blood dried onto the wood near the bottom of the strings because he strums too hard.

-Acoustic guitar: The really old musty beaten up one that Slender gave him. Almost turquoise in colour. Electric guitar: Black guitar that almost looks like something a rock star would have. Also kind of old. Doesn't use that one as much.

-Likes singing but gets nervous around people that arent in his cabin or Nat.

-Likes cuddles, hand kisses (platonically), head pats and pets, people playing with his hair. But he doesn't like asking for it because he finds it embarrassing.

-Not as childish as people think. Just clingy to people he enjoys.

-Drawing is something he really enjoys doing if he's not playing the guitar. He'll draw people from the other cabins, characters from movies and shows he likes, and even characters from the Slenderverse. Not really that good at drawing anything else.

-Always too nervous to show people his drawings or things he likes.

-Doesn't like being called "Ticci" Toby. He never liked it. Will probably get mad if you call him it more than once.

-Has terrible memory. Not even from Slenderman, he's just always had bad memory, and Slender didnt help at all. He will probably to get basic things like birthdays or people, even his own sometimes.

-As for shows. South Park (enjoys the humour), Superstore (enjoys the humour), and just any paranormal show (finds it interesting).

-His favourite weapon (axe) is a Tactical Axe or more widely known as a Tactical Tomakawk Axe. But theyre too expensive for him too buy. There was one time where he stole one. But someone from another cabin stole it and he hasnt gotten it back.

-Food. He likes pizza, usually cheese or pepperoni (or cheese with black olives, tehe). Also enjoys fruit, like watermelon, baby grapes, apples (galas or green apples), and pineapple.

Reading Ted Newsome and John Brancato's Spiderman script

1.So we start with an artsy shot of a spider web before showing our antagonist Doc Ock working on the Cyclotron (Im assuming this is the The Mcguffin ).I like the intro to Ock,working with a tenticaled doodad,while taking a drag of a cigarette and eating a chili dog.I also like the depiction of him as a brooding broadly built guy with long hair ,a bit unkempt with stains on his shirt due to being focused on his work

2.So we are introduced to Ocks colleagues,and OC's for the film Thorkle (Tall thin guy wearing glasses in his 40's) and Rossomoff (Who despite being 75 is very spry).The writers were Hammer fans so wrote these roles with Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee respectfully in mind ....Which I see it ,but Lee was younger then Cushing but whatever,maybe makeup

3.So Bob Hoskins was the main choice for Doc Ock .....And I kind of love the idea of this super genius having Hoskins signature Cockney accent

Heads up that this HEAVILY unhinges off of my au/hcs so uhuh! I'm not entirely sure how much of this lines up with the current fanon interpretations since admittedly I hardly interact with the fandom outside of my own stuff 😭😭 gotta change that theres so many talented artists and writers

Getting the big nasty out of the way, Zalgo! Technically connected to everyone! I talk more in depth about him, you can find that post in the creepypasta Masterlist! Might be the first one.. but run down is that hes a weird force/piece of nature/way of the universe and is responsible for the creation of monster characters as well as the means for human characters becoming something else (ex. EJ becoming a monster, Ben coming back from the dead). Human characters that remain human can sometimes become what they did (a killer or otherwise a figurative monster) after coming into contact with zalgo, usually unknowingly or indirectly..

He is quite literally their maker more or less, sent out to cause problems in the world

I would assume many different characters would have different thoughts and relationships with Zalgo, even if they can't directly make contact with him. Zalgo bounces between being tangible and not

Eyeless Jack, for example, doesnt know who or what Zalgo is and the name doesnt ring a bell; having been corrupted through a creation of zalgo rather than zalgo itself. Slenderman on the other hand actively resents zalgo for giving him sentience and a human-like conscious.

Jeff and Ben are best friends, it'd be criminal for them to be otherwise. My take on ben is that hes confined to electronics majority of the time. Jeff Carries him around in a phone, or maybe a DS.. I keep switching between both.. maybe originally a DS but made the switch. Jeff met Ben not long after he mvrdered his and Jane's families. Though there is now a rift in their friendship, mostly due to Jeff still being human and is now a grown adult, they still care deeply about each other. More like a sibling bond as Jeff got older

Bringing up Masky and Hoodie! I tried blending them, eith the crp version and their mh source since I love both versions. They lean more towards the crp take, though, given that's what I grew up with.. finding a balance is a bit hard... moving on, they aren't that close actually. Sure they are still proxies in this au, hence the more crp leaning comment, but they aren't.. friends. They hardly tolerate each other in most scenarios, actually. On the flip side, Tim and Brian still exist and have their own lives, whether or not they're fully aware of the fact they're being sort of puppeteered by outside forces is up in the air.. they're still fairly close in contrast to masky and hoodie!

Staying true with the older fandom, tiby and masky antaogize each other. Usually its toby getting onto masky, though. Hoodie and toby have a rather decent relationship, oddly enough. They aren't buddy buddy, but they are civil with each other. Could be that hoodie is no bullshit + doesnt give toby a reaction when he DOES do something to him

Jane and Jeff still hate each other, with Jane actively trying to hunt Jeff down and get revenge for everything. Jane is the only character (with the exception of tim and brian) who has a job and still interacts with society. I had an idea that she and laughing jill team up (to parallel jeff and Ben's dynamic).. though I might scrap that or swap jill out with someone else.. shrugs

Then theres nina! I hc that her and eyeless jack are close friends. No reason behind that other than "their energies contrast each other. Ej is tired and reserved, nina is energetic and gossipy/chatty" and their visual aesthetics contrasting (dark and mostly grey against bright and multicolored).. though I'm still trying to find a way how they'd meet in universe

Nina is also friends with jeff and has a sibling like bond with ben as well. I think she'd still have her crush on jeff, although I'm bouncing between it being faded or just as strong as it was before.. I mentioned I kind of want them to have a tiffany/chucky dynamic but I need to rewatch the child's play movies to get the dynamic for nina and Jeff right 😭😭

Ooooooohhoho still on the nina thought train but her and Jane would have so much beef. Jane hates nina with her entire being for being so buddy buddy with jeff.. whereas nina just treats their rivalry like it's some high school drama, totally unserious

Do you ever feel jealous of Paul cause John was so in love with him? I feel like nearly all of the partner's of John and Paul were jealous some just a little bit others to toxic degrees. Like Cyn and Linda would be 1 out of 5 jealous, Jane and all of John's male 'friends' in the 70s are a 3 out of 5 and Yoko is like a 10000 out of 5. The only partner who doesnt seem jealous at all to me is May Pang.

I was thinking about it last night and you know what when I think of John and Paul the word that continually recycles through my mind is 'Love.' Love as in, Love.

Love, they loved each other, John and Paul loved each other so much that John couldn't take it and burned it all down, the Beatles and his partnership with Paul. Paul couldn't handle it and he couldn't control it and place it all in a neat little box, and yet it clearly hurt (I wanted to use the words destroyed and killed but) Paul when he felt or believed he didn't have John's love anymore.

Their love is indescribable and unmanageable. It's destructive, possessive and obsessive, and insecure and confident and brazen and beautiful and poetic and admirable and immortal and all encompassing.

I am not jealous of Paul for getting to have and experience that kind of love. I don't even know if I'm all that envious, either. I don't think I could handle a love like that. I don't think I could survive it. John and Paul barely survived it.

I look at those moments of Paul openly stating he believed some white/blue light or odd sound in a recording room during an interview was John; when he stated he believed that the white peacock was John—in those photos of Paul and George and Ringo, standing outside together as older men. That he has dreams about John, constantly. That he'll imagine John's sitting with him, as if they're having another jam session, to help him with his music. Talking about John in present tense—of people who knew him outing him by reporting they've heard him talk about John as if the man was still alive. He finds ways to bring up John in any way possible. His own wife had told on him about how he'd been desperate to get back with John, to play with him again.

All these moments that make someone almost feel, uncomfortable? I feel bad for him. I pity him, in a way.

Like, I can't feel jealousy or envious over that. The love that John and Paul had for each other... Still have, it's almost agonizing.

Of course their girlfriends and lovers and wives would feel some type of way about it—their relationship couldn't really triumph and trump the relationship and dynamic that John and Paul had. They'd always take a backseat in one way or another.

It was only when it appeared that their wives were finally being prioritized or that John had Yoko and Paul had Linda and that meant John couldn't have Paul and Paul couldn't have John because these two did not share each other they were viciously obsessive and possessive of their relationship to one and other, did we get to witness a fallout between the two-lovers-that-never-were, as destructive and gnashing of teeth and cruel and unwanted as that of a great H-bomb befalling a city.

But even in the end, even when it appeared it was all over and john loved Yoko and Paul loved Linda and they never needed each other to begin with—the two still fought and mourned and yearned and begged and laughed and loved each other through the music they wrote separately. They couldn't escape each other. Paul was still desperate and John believed he was telepathically connected to Paul like these two were pathetic for each other even after all the bullshit fallout divorce.

Of course their girls were jealous on some level, like, of course. I don't think any of them understood the depth that devoured everything which was John and Paul's love for each other and all the things they could accomplish with each other.

May is an outlier because she was put up by Yoko to be John's date and essentially report back to her about everything and still keep some sort of lead between her and John. Their relationship wasn't exactly genuine... That isn't to say May didn't love John... She did. She cared a great deal for him. She wanted him happy and okay... Which is why she was the biggest advocate and supporter of John to get back together with Paul. I think she knew—maybe not on the level I'm espousing, but she knew just how much Paul meant to John, and she was a witness to how John being around Paul affected him, probably for the better.

Anyway, point is, no I'm not jealous, and I hardly even get envious over Paul and the love John had for him.

I can understand why their lovers and friends and wives were jealous though, but it's either because they didn't a) realize just how intense and almost suffocating the love John and Paul had for each other were, or b) they did and wanted it anyway (because they thought they could control it, or them) and c) most likely because their girlfriends and especially their wives probably felt they deserved to take some greater precedent over John and Paul's partnership and relationship, but never did.

What John and Paul had not even their own wives could replace or provide. That's kind of insane and not normal.

i got a sudden influx of followers so it think it would be good to explain this!! houseshift is an au i made that focuses on the alpha kids playing a true session alongside the alpha trolls - under the pretext that Calliope had won and Space instead of Time dominates the overall Narrative Universe. it is assumed the beta sessions have already played [and subsequentially scratched].

unlike the originals which were doomed from the start - these are defined by the persistence of Life. they have the tendency to push through and continue on.

jane is my 'Main Character' and i actually let her fufill that role as she should. shes the Muses favorite and it just makes sense.

um. i guess thats it! im still figuring out a lot of the details and by that i mean i just think about the very niche details and ignore the greater details lol um some ramblings under the cut

first off can i just say how TRASH my boy is ? aro is seemingly very boisterous however these  energetic & loud behaviors act more as a dramatic façade to disguise the anxiousness & displacement he’s been feeling a lot of lately. my portrayal of aro is a lot less , mind the silly ass blog title i gave him ---- he’s not as i guess kiddish. 

aro barely gets his hands dirty , in the events he does it means whatever has happened is pretty personal , aro hates the idea of hybrids ( save for his children being heretics ) but the idea of the stench of  wolf + the strength of a vampire is less than amusing to aro and does cause reasonable room for anxiety since the wolf bite IS in fact lethal to all vampires. 

aro doesn’t care about many things. to a certain degree he does *feel* things but it doesnt necessarily mean that in conjunction that feelings are relevant for long periods of time. he switches himself back and forth. i do think that the wc witch i have - she is one of the few things aro tries his hardest to emulate love for --- however the extent of how far that goes is truly unforeseeable.

a change to aro is - when jane and alec were young they belonged to the gemini coven , they’re both witches to their own right and have always had miraculous powers. he watched them for a while and found himself utmost bewildered by them. as some time past and research was made , he started to understand how the gemini coven worked and learned that one of the twins would be sacrificed during to what their coven refers as a “merger”. aro finally made his appearance and offered the two young witch immortality , and in return of their devotion he would save them from this horrible procedure. both in agreeance , aro turnd both jane & alec making them the first ever known vampire / witch hybird. 

key differences : aro wild man, he rules with an iron thumb but i think he can be in some situations more forgiving and less in others. i think hes utterly fascinated with witch craft. hes kinda a pig ngl / i think he loves to sleep around , hes def more of an asshole. he lets time progress and acts with the times. aka he has a cell phone , computers , doesnt talk like all old-timey. still giddy but less i’d say.

Let's start with Vriska Harley :b

I feel like she would be incredible different to canon Vriska but also i dont think she would be that similar to Jade. She is probably happier than her OG contrapart, but is probably extremely lonely as OG Jade. I think she was the first one to wake up in Prospit so that helps a little tho

She probably is more interested in hunting than in gardening, like Grandpa, and is interested in exploring the world like him, but because Bec doesnt let her, she is usually at home online roleplaying. You cant take the roleplaying out of the girl it seems.

I feel like she wants to get out of the island, badly, like trying to construct boats to escape but Bec always takes her back so is so annnoyiiiing, i dont think she knows about her mind powers? Or if she knows she probably doesnt use them because its very rude to do so. Also probably likes to do her hair in fun ways as a hobbie, kinda like a contrapart to Jade's interest in fashion

Because all the trolls are kinda separated of the world because, not humans, i was wondering if she would have Space as an aspect but considering that Grandpas death is going to happen and she lives on an island alone with a dog, yeh i feel like it stills fits. Not sure about class tho

Now with Terezi Egbert, i feel like she would be like the only one who goes outside her house with no disguise, besides the birthday hats she wears in her head. When people ask her why she is wearing a costume, she is like ''What costume :?'' so people just assume she is cosplaying like, all the time.

Idk if she would go to school? like maybe but like i feel Dad Egbert wouldnt be comfortable letting her alien teen to go to school, maybe he would be like Dad Crocker with Jane , but somehow the it works when she is out of the house? honestly ive been thinkin abt john a lot these past couple days. hes a passive player who causes so much change even to those who dont realize it. he goes alongs with things bc he doesnt have the time to think abt stuff and bc of this his outward expression to ppl is. hes easy! hes simple and he listens bc thats whats expected of him, he doesnt have the chance to say no to anything though thats not the reality

as an heir of breath, freedom is his whole deal. he naturally falls into the into the inability to be tied down and in the future as things progress AFTER he begins to process things is when he starts doing things his way, a surprise to people around him who thought him simply passive [ie. refusing to give vriska the ring, beating caliborn up, etc etc]

and combined with the fact of, as you said, the wall of forced repression it very much leads a lot of people, specifically people who pride themselves on 'manipulation' or just crave dominance by understanding others, to misunderstand him severely. which is very VERY good. its such a thing i love with characters and the dynamic possibilities are endless

which is why i rlly like john paired with characters like bro [or even vriska, condy, etc THOSE types of characters] cause you get that misunderstanding and struggle of power. and yes he would misjudge johns actions or intentions which honestly can be funny as fuck

im less confident abt my uhhh perception? i guess of. all striders really i have a version in my mind but idk how close to canon it really is but for me i see bro as a more extreme version of dirk. he would set everything up in his head and it WILL go the way he thinks it will. views the world as more um i guess the best way to explain is in boxes. everything has a set purpose and he compartmentalizes things so it all works in a well oiled machine

so when it comes to john- they would meet, forces him into maturity in anyway you can imagine, and of course this isnt some mystical force from the universe. its a person which WOULD make things easier to understand leading to less passivity once he gets his thoughts together. OR you could say bro had already formed an opinion on john by observing his actions with say like dave! or possibly even rose since she the one he listens to most w/o question

either way it comes to a point that john is likely to fight back or act in a way that goes against the predetermined expectations. john would let him do whatever he wants before suddenly turning around and deciding. he doesnt want to do something and so he simply will not. its a complete toss up that will leave bro stumbling

of course at this point i want to point out that this is what makes dirkjohn fundamentally different from brojohn. dirk and john are on pretty equal footing bc of age which makes the expected power struggle an either-or situation where it could go both ways

while bro has a much larger advantage bc of age [assuming john is 13 - 16] and general appearance [sorry. short john propaganda i cant see him as anything over 5'5 lol]

so naturally bro would still get that control but it means nothing with the fundamental misunderstanding of john. its like he would take simple actions to the extreme [believing he has planned things out when it was really spur of the moment] or any scheming he does as not planned bc he wouldnt get WHY he would that and bc he doesnt understand why he would do something it means he wouldnt have done it

WAIT! ok before i forget. the only thing ive really been thinking abt these past couple days is john with women vs john with men. essentially boils down to if a woman asked he would be on his knees in an instant. you say jump he asks how high etc etc hed act out enough to get attention but not really to destablize the power dynamic

but he just absolutely refuses to willingly sub for a man. or if he does it doesnt end like he wants it to. so the only way to get him to submit is by harsh force and even then hes a brat till the end. takes pleasure in making bros life just that much harder
