COMMENTS: My favourites are the Overblot students, but I want to make these things with the rest of the characters too. The SSR Pop Music T-Shirt looked to me like a good way to start. I'm thinking of making one for the basketball club too when the cards come in the eng game. I'm also thinking of making something with the event cards. Okay, stop mumbling. I hope you enjoy this one. ;)

Cater was the guitarist and vocalist.

You went with your two best friends from Heartslabyul, who were as hyped as you, alongside the Housewarden and Vice-Housewarden.

When Cater sees you in the middle of a song he's singing, his voice will almost crack for a second, but the will quickly recover his posture. he won't be able to stop smiling once he knows you're there watching him.

When he manages to get a free hand, he will look at you and make a heart with his index and thumb. While winking with a smile.

If you record and take picture for him to post on his social medias, Oh Great Seven you're the best person that could exist and somehow came to his life! He'll want to hug you and kiss you and invite you to eat with him someday, on his account! … Wait... did he invited you on a date in the middle of the hype?

He always wanted to play and sing a ballad, but with Kalim and Lilia on the same band, that wouldn't happen. If he sings on in front of you, could you film it and sent him for him to post on the social medias? And if he writes on for you, he'll tell you not to record. That one is for you and your ears only.

If you good at music and even know how to play the guitar, he will lend his to you to see what you can do. Once he sees how good you are he'll be impressed and definitely record it. Even if it's just for him. Especially if it's just for him. And he'll tell you: “Waw! That was total awesome! You should join us in the club! It’ll be even more fun with you. Us two could even make a duet one day. What do you say?” Wink wink.

If not, and (like me) you have absolutely 0 music skills, he'll ask if you'd like to try some chords on his guitar. If he has a crush on you, he'll find this an opportunity to go sit behind you put his hands on yours to show you how to put your fingers and play. If you’re left-handed, he’ll still do the same, but try his best to adapt the things to you. And if or when he gets confused by that, you'll laugh together.

Kalim was the drummer.

You went with Jamil.

When Kalim sees you in the middle of a song he'll smile like a jolly goof and wave at you with one hand. Spoiling the song for an obvious moment and clumsily back to concentrate on the drums.

Cater and Lilia will have to improvise something to pretend that it was part of the show. Cater was slightly annoyed on the inside. Lily was laughing in amusement.

Jamil will sigh and say something like “See, I told you he will be completely distracted by you. But don't get me wrong, I never said it was your fault.”

He will smile and wave at you Every Single Time there is a pause between songs. To the point that every now and then several people turn around and look at you curiously to see who he's always looking at.

Jamil will feel the need to be your bodyguard if the attention towards you keeps increasing.

Of course, there will be an after-party and you are more than invited.

If your confident in your musical skills, Kalim will invite you to play and our sing with him. He’ll let you set on front of his drums and be totally hyped by you for how good you are. “(Y/N)!!! You have to join us at the club! You’re so awesome! And we’ll have so much fun together!” Oh Gods, he’ll be so hyped it will deadly concern Jamil. “Do NOT offer (Y/N) the most expensive and beautiful instrument you can find Kalim!”

If not and (like me) you have absolutely 0 music skills, he will ask you if you'd like to learn a little of how to play the drums. He’ll let you set on front of his drums and will gladly teach you somethings. He would get behind you, pointing at where you should hit next and if he puts his hands on yours, he’ll not realise how romantic that could be.

He’ll be the happiest and proudful teacher ever, even if you completely fail at sound slightly good. “Why don’t you join the Pop Music Club anyways? We can teach you how to play. And even if you’re not that good, it doesn't matter, we'll definitely have fun together!”

“Um? If I could give you private lessons? Ha ha, sure! That will be great! Would you like to meet in Scarabia? Jamil can make your favourite dishes.”

Lilia was the bass player.

You went with the other Diasomnia students. Malleus probably offered to fly with you so you could see better. Silver couldn't fall asleep because of the extremely loud sound and was looking to the stage with his cute smile (proud son). It is humanly impossible to be more hyped and scream more than Sebek.

When Lilia sees you… oh no. He playfully smirked. He was plotting something. What have you done? Dude got crazier and crazier. He wanted to give you the best show of your life and on his head that's something a bit... extreme.

Your eardrums will only not be seriously injured because Malleus will protect them with magic. Scream vocals, he’ll definitely do those. If a bass is broken by him hitting it on the floor at the end of the concert, it will be partly your fault. Please, Lilia, don't jump into the public!

After the show he’ll ask you all what you thought of it and his performance. Either will be with Sebek on the side: That was awesome! The coolest thing ever” our with Malleus and Silver on the side: “That was… interesting indead…” Either way, he'll be happy that you had fun alongside his unconventional family.

If your confident in your musical skills and you tell Lilia, he’ll want to ear you play his bass. He'll be quite impressed by you, and star trying to convince you to join the Pop Music Club and/or convince you to let him teach you how to do scream vocals with him. If (for some reason) you'll show interest on that last one, Lilia will certainly be delighted. And the other three will be... probably desperate. For the first time, Malleus Draconia will be afraid of a human. If not, (your vocal cords will be thankful) that wouldn’t surprise Lilia, but it will start to be one of the things he uses to mess with you.

If not and (like me) you have absolutely 0 music skills, he’ll tell you that’s no problem and that he himself was like you some time ago. And, of course, ask you if you’d like to try some chords on his bass. “Would you rather a kind and easy lesson, or hard and strenuous training?” (Canon line, not mine) Let’s hope you’re a sane person and chose the first option, shall we.

You know about him saying he's good at lullabies, but you’re too afraid to ask. So, you’d ask Silver and Malleus instead just to make sure if it’s not another “I’m a great cook” thing. If they tell you that, despite everything you heard, that is true, you gain courage to ask if you could ear him sing one of those.

When he starts singing and you discover that his voice suit lullabies perfectly, you slowly start to fall asleep and maybe even end up laying your head on Lilia's shoulder. Then, he'll look at you, playfully smirking, open his mouth one more time and be desperately stopped by Silver's hand shutting him up. “Don’t, father! Not with (Y/N)!”; “Don’t you dare wake up the Child of man with your called vocal screams.” Malleus intervened.

Some ideas for Twisted Wonderland events

(*Mild spoilers for some JP server events and Chapter 6)

-A Mulan-themed event: In one of the Halloween events, Silver mentioned knowing the story of Mulan, and Lilia has mentioned having been to "the East" before (not to mention Diasomnia's Halloween costumes are longs). It would be lovely to see Lilia return to the TWST-equivalent of China with some of his friends and meeting new characters--bonus points if someone is twisted from Mushu. A story about a girl who makes a sacrifice for her aging father by enlisting in the military on his behalf fits well with Silver and Lilia, so now would be the perfect opportunity to give them duo magic! Also, Chinese xianxia/martial arts fantasy novels are very popular in Japan and abroad nowadays (if you know, you know :) ), and I would love to see the boys wearing hanfu--they'd look so majestic and cool!

-Sam's hometown event: A Princess and the Frog event where the boys go to the TWST version of New Orleans, chaperoned by Sam. It would be a great opportunity to explore the jazz and culinary scene, and, of course, wear 1920s-inspired clothing. Someone in Octavinelle gets an SSR.

-A pajama-party event: Night Raven College hosts an all-night pillow fight tournament, and everyone gets extremely competitive, kind of like Beanfest. Everyone wears pajamas--I'm not sure if they'd have their own outfits, or if the dorms would match and have PJ sets with their logo on it (kind of like the pajamas they sell at the JP Disney Store). In battle, the chibis throw pillows at each other.

-Octavinelle hometown event: We are introduced to the Tweels' parents and/or Azul's mother. Given how Jamil and Kalim's hometown event carried out, it is likely that only one of the three will actually get an event card, but we'll see. In the Halloween event, Riddle mentioned that he's never seen the sea before. Even though he's had a chance in the Lost in the Book with Stitch event (and the developers probably want to give the spotlight to different characters), I'm afraid he doesn't remember it. Anyway, he deserves to go again. Alternatively, there's an event where the boys go to the Sunshine Lands and meet Prince Rielle. In this case, Riddle and Azul must go together--it would be nice to see after the events of Chapter 6.

-Riddle and Trey hometown event/Black Butler crossover: We've already had a Heartslabyul-themed hometown event with Deuce, but this time, we get to meet Trey's family and Riddle's mother. The likelihood that we get a canon Black Butler crossover as well is very close to zero, but it would be really fun to make a few jokes/hints about Riddle having a younger cousin who wears an eyepatch and solves mysteries with his enigmatic butler. Bonus points if Riddle and Jade have duo magic and dress up in Victorian/ouji clothing.

-J-fashion event: Speaking of ouji clothing, it would be amazing if there was an event inspired by Japanese fashions and subcultures. I think there was a part in one of the anthology mangas where Vil gave the Pop Music Club a visual kei makeover. I know the Pop Music Club has their own SSRs already, but I wouldn't mind seeing more outfits in this style.

-An orchestra-themed event: Some of the NRC students form a classical orchestra. Malleus is there, of course--I imagine him playing the cello this time. The Octavinelle trio is there as well with their respective instruments, as is Idia and Riddle both playing violins. I can see Jamil playing a woodwind instrument--maybe a flute, a clarinet, or an oboe?

Jasmine Silk is rerunning with SSR Vil, Pop Club is getting a collective rerun, Rook and Cater are getting their Culinary Crucible, then there'll be a Joint Exam. Are the multiple reruns because they opened the server for SG and AUS? They could've just run Azul and Kalim Tsumtsums instead of another culinary crucible right after Malleus and Ruggie's just finished.

Guess I'll be fixating on JP's activities this month then.

prediction for ssr snow boa jamil

So, that SSR Snow Boa Jamil for the Harveston rerun. I have the sneaking suspicion that this will be Yasmina Silk Vil Part II... (For those who are unaware, this refers to the Scalding Sands rerun which featured a random new SSR Vil which had zero story involvement and no vignettes. He did come with some exclusive furniture though. This upset many fans, who felt it was an unnecessary addition and robbed Kalim, who was present in the event and would be far easier to integrate, of a new card.) Yasmina Silk Vil has a voice line which indicates how he got his hands on the outfit. Apparently, Trey brought it back for him as a souvenir. This is somewhat confusing though, as the groovy illustration for Vil appears to show him relaxing and lounging in one of Silk City's bazaars??? So if he never visited the place, how is he posing there...??? Fans usually chalk this out of place groovy by suggesting that Vil staged the shot using Film Research Club or professional resources, which is fair enough.

Is... Is Jamil also going to say he got the clothes as a souvenir??????? But then what's the explanation for his card art if he probably hasn't visited Harveston and won't contribute to the event in any way??? (It's not like Kalim in Scalding Sands; Jamil was NEVER present in Harveston.) Maybe the groovy will be set at a future date in which Jamil does travel to a snowy place and has an opportunity to wear it?? Whether that’s to accompany Kalim somewhere or by himself (finally freed 😭) is up to the imagination! If he does receive the clothes as a gift, maybe Jade is the sender? Firstly, they're in the same grade level and are therefore the most "familiar" with one another due to shared classes. Being in the same grade level also applies for Trey and Vil (and Trey gifted Vil the Yasmina Silk outfit). Jade and Trey are both R cards-- Secondly, Jade is the only one I can think of that would have a reasonable motivation to give Jamil something. He could gain something out of it, or at least put Jamil in his debt. I don't know what Jamil's reasoning would be to accept such a shady offer from Jade, but maybe practicality or curiosity beat out suspicion 🤡 or maybe Jade just... forces it on him so Jamil will "owe" him later... A friend also suggested the outfit may come from Sebek, since both he and Jamil are both servants (and Sebek has explicitly expressed his jealousy that Jamil grew up with Kalim). Maybe Sebek wants Jamil to be bundled up and ready to protect Kalim at a moment's notice from even the cold? BUT HEY, THAT'S JUST A THEORY... A GAME THEORY... We'll know the truth when Snow Boa Jamil finally comes out!

Once upon a time, NRC's Board Game Club decided to organize a chess competition. Thanks to Azul's marketing genius, the event became really popular, with plenty of students from outside the club participating.

However, due to an accident (Floyd was bored and Grim annoyed him, everything is now on fire), most of the club's chess sets were destroyed. To solve the problem, contestants were encouraged to bring one of their personal sets.

This idea made for an ecletic set up, especially since most students are crazy rich. Idia brought the set Leona gave him for his birthday, Malleus found an old heirloom from Briar Valley, Kalim isn't even a competitor, but he still got a set made of solid gold and encrusted with precious gems from the Scarabia storage room, and so on... (Cater took a bunch of pictures of all the different styles).

In an effort to make up for Grim's mishap, Adeuce also decided to help, remembering that Heartslabyul has a room filled with different games that students often used.

There were dozens of chess sets, but they just HAD to choose the pretty one atop of a pedestal, with a sign saying "NO!!" in bold letters (in their defense, Heartslabyul is nonsensical, also they were in a competition with Sebek and that was the best set).

A few days later, right before the event, the game club students began to organize the space for the matches.

Only for the Heartslabyul set to come to life and start fighting people, that is...

Apparently, the Queen of Hearts left a small contingent of her best soldiers to protect the school, just in case. Hidden as a deck of cards and a chess set, those soldiers can be summoned by simply opening their cases/boxes, though they shall only answer to the Heartslabyul housewarden.

She also forgot to tell anyone else about the plan, trusting that a single rule of "When in trouble, get the chess set or the playing cards" would suffice.

So now we have a bunch of gigantic marble statues wandering around campus, looking for hostile forces or their leader...

After a few fights, a statue crashing a dormhead meeting and kidnapping Riddle, and plenty of discussion, the students FINALLY manage to calm the statued down, explaining how it was all a misunderstanding.

All's well that ends well, but now the chess pieces want to watch the actuall chess matches.... something about wanting to know the prowess of great warriors and future leaders...

And that is how we get an chess event in twst, with a few extra cards and special outfits, since this just became a formal event, what with the piqued interest of a bunch of ancient royal guards.

The main event cards would be Leona, Idia, Azul, Malleus, Lillia and Jamil, since they're the actual contestants for the competition, while Riddle also gets an SSR, since he is supervising the gigantic chess soldiers, in a role similar to the Queen of Hearts.

Since the statues insisted on participating in the competition's finale, the last match is held in the school's Coliseum, with a cute twstune to wrap things up.

Then the victor gets crowned and the chess pieces leave.

Magic 3 Thoughts

The introduction of magic 3 in Twst’s new gameplay is very interesting because it makes me wonder what is in store for the characters in chapter 7.

Dorm cards in particular tell the characters’ personality and magical ability.

For example, let's take three cards: Dorm Riddle, Dorm Epel, and Dorm Azul.

Dorm Riddle

Dorm Riddle deals two strong hits at Lv.10 of his first spell. It hints at his strong power. The two hits on his first spell also shows how he can summon spells fast. In chapter 6, Idia’s analysis of Riddle is that he can fire spells very fast. Take note that among the dorm SSRs, only he, Dorm Leona, and Dorm Malleus can deal two strong hits. And we all know how powerful and experienced Leona and Malleus are. Even amongst other SSRs, only Birthday Kalim, GM Ace, and Camp Trey can deal two hits on their first spell, with everyone else dealing one hit with an effect, whether buff or debuff.

Furthermore, Riddle has the highest ATK stat in the game (no, Dorm Malleus did Not overthrow him, shocking news right?). This can refer to how Riddle has a high magic pool for his age, which can only be obtained by intensive training from when you’re young. Consequently, he has the lowest HP among all SSRs. This may be in reference to his fast blot accumulation—external factors have a clear impact on his blot.

Dorm Epel

Dorm Epel’s first spell references his UM. His first spell can deal a small ATK Down and heals the team at the same time. His UM, Sleep Kiss, puts people to sleep in glass coffins. In a sense, the protection people gain from the glass coffins will lower the severity of any injuries they sustain, referencing the ATK Down debuff that cuts opponent’s damage on your team. Sleep is also a form of recovery for the body, which references the heal.

Buddies are telling of a character’s relationship with another to an extent. A notable buddy is Epel’s buddy with Vil, as it boosts both his HP and ATK. He’s the only dorm card aside from Malleus with that sort of buddy boost. It references how Vil is trying to build Epel to become the best kind of person that he can be without compromising himself, hence why both HP and ATK are boosted rather than only one stat. Vil looks out for Epel’s growth in many things, whether in beauty or in strength.

Dorm Azul

Dorm Azul’s M1 is absolutely packed with not only a buff, a small ATK UP, but also a heal. It’s rather self serving, and it references to how Azul would steal people’s talent to make himself stronger.

In chapter 6, Idia mentions how Azul is the type to stall or use others as meat shields before attacking due to having a relatively low magic pool compared to other overblotters. He needs time to produce a spell. It makes him fit to be a healer/support.

Azul's buddies are very important here. Most SSRs have a HP M buddy, HP S, and ATK/POW S buddy. His buddies, however, are HP S, HP S, and ATK M. Jade is his ATK M buddy, while Riddle and Idia are the HP buddies. Buddies that give small boost in a stat are the characters who have an effect on the character himself but aren't that involved in his life, whereas buddies that give medium boost in a stat are very involved in a character's life. I find that HP buddies tend to represent how a buddy affects a character's growth (in their character), while ATK buddies tend to represent a buddy making a character stronger.

Riddle and Idia do have an influence on Azul, but it's not a major one. Riddle is a fellow 2nd year dorm leader; the two of them have worked together in their duties as dorm leaders and schoolmates. As for Idia, he and Azul are club mates. Azul has shared in his first birthday story that the board game club has made him more comfortable in taking calculated risks.

The important buddy here is Jade. Jade provides a medium boost to Azul's ATK stat. It can indicate here that Jade affects Azul a lot, particularly in making him stronger. Stronger in the eye of the public, stronger in the sense that he's more confident because at least there is Jade to lean onto in case a sudden change of plans occurs...? A list can be made.

Therefore, because dorm cards show some of the personality of the characters in gameplay format, the introduction of the 3rd magic speaks about something regarding the characters. And in the midst of chapter 7 and getting thrown into this dream world, is the 3rd magic showing us more depth to the character now that we have gone through six full arcs in the main story? Or is it showing that the character will undergo change in the dream world?

For example, Dorm Riddle's first magic is just two strong hits, an offense-oriented spell that would make him more suitable for a Basic test where dealing damage is priority. However, his third magic is a medium ATK DOWN on two opponents, which is a debuff and an ability more suited for a Defense test. Dorm Leona also goes through the same thing, except his medium ATK DOWN is a 3-turn debuff on a single opponent.

Some cards have their first and third spells having similar effects. Dorm Vil is an example of this, having a small ATK DOWN for 1 turn on his first spell and medium ATK DOWN for 3 turns on his 3rd spell. Dorm Ortho's first and third spells are similar in that they are both buffs—his first spell is a 3-turn medium DMG UP on himself while his 3rd spell has a small ATK UP, along with Freeze Immunity, which allows characters' buffs to go through even if Freeze was casted on the character on a specific turn.

Some characters gain heals, particularly Ace, Kalim, Rook, and Sebek. Ace, Rook, And Sebek heal is HP Regen or the 3-turn heal. Kalim's is 1-turn. It's interesting what this means for them and how they would develop.

The original dorm card healers, Trey, Azul, and Epel, gain Curse Immunity and a small ATK UP. What this does is that essentially, if you use their heal and the Curse immunity in one turn, they can heal even if the opponent implements curse on them. It's like they gain their own ability to protect themselves so that they can protect their team better.

Possibly for some cards, it can show more depth to the character's personality, like how Riddle's ATK DOWN on two opponents can be an expression of how he makes people follow his lead.

But Twst has also used gameplay as a way to foreshadow something in the story. Dorm Epel is a prime example of this. His card was released in the midst of Book 5, but his UM was made in Book 6. So the question now is, what is Twst foreshadowing through the 3rd magic?

SSR Jamil Viper Bloom Birthday Voice Lines

When Summoned: Today, it is my turn to be properly entertained. Now then, who will be the one to bring me the most joy?

Summon Line: I'm almost tempted to use my birthday as pretext to behave as I please... Heh, of course, I wouldn't actually do that, now would I?

Groooovy!!: I'll show everyone how to fly with style today. ―Alright, make way! The birthday boy is coming!

Home: I'll grant you a wish. ...Kidding.

Home Idle 1: I remember there was someone who'd always try to eat my snacks with me whenever I had some. That was a friend of mine from middle school.

Home Idle 2: Epel bought me a dessert from the cafeteria. I tried to refuse, but he was pretty insistent. ...I never realized he was that stubborn.

Home Idle 3: I was on cleaning duty for the clubroom today, but another club member offered to do it for me. Maybe I'll do a bit of reading now that I have spare time.

Home Idle - Login: It's much more livelier today than usual. It's my birthday party, after all. I'll enjoy myself in my own way.

Home Idle - Groovy: I saw a bug in the midst of the interview. Thankfully, Silver took it outside, so that saved me the trouble. He really came in clutch.

Home Tap 1: I heard the broom decorations are different for each student. Mine seems to have a rather calming color scheme, so I quite like it.

Home Tap 2: On my birthday, my dormmates become more obedient than usual. I have to say, it's a good feeling, almost like I've become king.

Home Tap 3: Kalim invited a chef from a famous curry restaurant here for me. I was even able to watch how he cooks. It was a good experience.

Home Tap 4: Azul gave me some spices that I had been wanting, but rather than elation, I'm feeling a little apprehensive. I don't remember telling anyone about these.

Home Tap 5: Hey, don't try to take my hat. You'll ruin my hair.

Home Tap - Groovy: If you're looking to give me a gift, then praise me until I'm completely satisfied. Hey, that was a joke. But if you insist on doing it still, I won't stop you.

Duo: [JAMIL]: And how will you celebrate me, Silver? [SILVER]: I will wish for your well-being, Jamil.

twst 30 day challenge: day 28

favorite vignette?

i got a three-way tie here, i think. well, i like all the vignettes, to be honest. but if i were forced to narrow it down, then maybe...

what a load of garbage halloween ♦️

i think a big one is cater's halloween ssr vignette, mainly because of how it really kind of showcases a side he doesn't show to others. of course, other vignettes had shown hints of this side, but not as straightforwardly.

his interaction with lilia was generally pretty interesting. i believe what lilia was saying came from his heart and experiences, especially reading what is out so far in book 7, but cater sort of can't bring himself to trust?? lilia completely because of how, in his eyes, lilia's words seem ironic as he seems to have a close-knit found family. and he seems to push kalim away to some extent too. the pop music club is very silly; i want cater to accept his found family status! /lh

it's honestly a little tragic to read as it is more eye-opening, in a sense. i think he wants others to understand him, but he also can't bring himself to open up about himself either.

(also, when it comes to halloween vignettes, jade's was also fun to read, as it's fun getting to know the various halloween traditions across different regions and upbringing.)

putting aside the fact that this is basically a silly epilogue featuring all the freshmen being silly together and talking about love lives, how could i not put in ace's suitor suit ssr vignette?

reading about ace's previous romantic experience though... i gotta say, i kinda feel bad for his ex lmao but at the same time, i kind of always pegged him as sort of someone who wouldn't go out of his way to pursue someone romantically. he said so himself, and i can easily imagine it, that he would rather hang with his friends.

overall i don't think this game needs to have any romance anyway. i generally love seeing the characters' dynamics with each other in platonic, familial, or for whatever they are, and if they were to become romantic, i think i wouldn't be as interested 😅 maybe i'll lose interest as quickly as ace lost his interest in his ex...

can't make a fool of myself suitor suit 🌹

riddle was so, so cool in his suitor suit sr vignette! like, for one it's kind of nice seeing him doing something like pruning the roses, considering he's the heartslabyul housewarden and doesn't normally do that kind of thing while preparing for unbirthday parties. plus his interaction with malleus and how he gives riddle a rose brooch? i love it when twst puts characters that probably don't interact much (or are hard to imagine interacting) together.

but the way at the end when riddle and malleus sort of have two separate scenes that come together at the very end with the illustration where they both say "the king of heartslabyul" (or something to that nature)... that scene was so intense and i loved it, hehe. ☁️

But this is about TWST, so I don't care!

Ok so I saw this post by @ventique18 (mind if I tag you? I can undo it) and I made me wonder:

Who has the most R, SR, and SSR cards respectively? Like what is the break down?

Now, I'm excluding cards everyone gets at the same level, so no School Uniforms, PE Uniforms, Ceremonial Robes, Labwears, Birthday Cards, Culinary Crucibles, or Clubwears.

I made colleges cause Tumblr has that 10 image cap. I organized the event cards by dorm, with rows being person and columns being card level (and now I have hundreds of pictures of TWST cards saved to my tablet). If I missed any cards, uh, sorry kings I tried.

So if we look at this:

In terms of SSRs, Leona and Azul had the most with 3 each, and Ortho and Kalim will be tied with them after Stage in Playful Land.

Vil and Cater are going to be tied for the most SRs with 4 each.

And the King of the R Cards is Jack, being the only one with FOUR! TWST, give the boy another SR, please, he's dying out here.

Now for some interesting observations:

MALLEUS ONLY HAS 3 EVENT CARDS?! Poster boy and he got NOTHING!

Malleus and Ace are in what I like to dub "the No Event Rs Club"

Lilia was the last person to get an event SSR, and is currently beating his kids by 1 SSR

Lilia, Ortho, Vil, Floyd, and Jack each have 7 event cards, which is the most event cards held by one person

Silver only has 4, beating Malleus by 1 but is still the character with the second least amount of cards

There are 38 event SSRs, and Heartslabyul is hogging them with 8 being from them (ignore the fact that this is the biggest squad)

There are 37 Rs and 52 SRs (I think, I can't count). I was shocked at first that there were more SRs than Rs, but that actually tracks with how events work.

Silver and Trey really need another SR (Azul also only has one, but he's got 3 SSRs, I think it cancels out)

Cater and Jade haven't seen an SSR in 84 years

Ace was the character most overdue for another SSR before this event (with his only other one being in literally the 3rd event)

What limited cards from JP's third year (2022) do you recommend EN players save for?

That’s a good question~!

So excluding birthdays and non-SSRs (since Rs and SRs are easy to get), the following cards came out in 2022:

Apple Boa Epel

Tsum Riddle

Club Lilia

Port Jack

Camp Trey

Masquerade Azul

Masquerade Idia

Masquerade Malleus

Club Ace

Among them, the cards that have come to be the most useful meta-wise are:

Boa Epel: An attacker with modest POW for 3 turns. His duo partner is Idia, whose Masquerade card also duos with Epel, making for a great duo pair to use, especially with their compatible elements.

Masquerade Idia: A double Water defense card with major POW DOWN, Idia is heavily useful in Fire Defense. As mentioned above, he and Boa Epel make for a great duo pair, making him useful as well in Basic.

Masquerade Malleus: Malleus has a modest Heal, making him useful already for Defense tests, particularly Flora. Buddy-wise, his synergy is amazing.

Club Lilia: His club card has long past, but if he gets a rerun in the future, he’s worth rolling for! Having the highest HP in-game as of now, Club Lilia also has a small heal and curse immunity.

Tsum Riddle and Leona: Both cards just recently had their banners finished, and if you rolled for them and got them, good for you! Both cards are defense cards, with Riddle great for Fire Defense and Leona great for Flora Defense. Riddle has a modest POW DOWN for both opponents, while Leona has one of the highest base HP stats in the game. Both of them have great buddy synergy.

However, I do note that all the cards are pretty useful in their own right. And in the end, we highly encourage pulling for oshi more than meta, especially if you’re not into the latter.
