Huge shout-out to John Cena for dropping my new transition goal that one time last year. Look at this and earnestly say this isn't peak male performance.

my dad, trying to understand the concept of being non-binary today:
- “so there’s chocolate and vanilla ice cream, but there’s also butterscotch… wow”
- “but if you’re non-binary, does that make you straight or gay? … wait, they can be ANYTHING?”
- “but there are some straight guys who occasionally do homosexual acts. are there gay guys who do the same thing but with women?
…no way”
- “people have all these labels these days and I feel like a ball of dough. can I identify as a ball of dough”
- “gay guys are usually feminine… but wait, what about the BEARS”
- “so if they’re not a man and they’re not a woman…they’re… bisexual?”

Happy Trans Day of Visibility! This year I wanted to celebrate by showing you what Lunar Boy, our upcoming middle grade graphic novel, means to us as queer Indonesian representation: the thought process behind crafting a sci-fi Indonesian future that embraces queer history.
Pre-order Lunar Boy or add it on goodreads! Support QPOC creators and stories!

I think queer stories would be better if people stopped assuming that queer representation hinges on if two characters are romantically involved at all. Like the moment you accept characters as being queer without needing romance to prove said queerness then i think we'd find ourselves with a lot more unique, nuanced, and interesting queer stories. but by limiting queerness to only romance you are stifling queer stories.

Will: I can hear him, feel him…
Mike: is he… is he saying anything now?
Vecna: personally, luv, I wouldn’t waste time on him. That outfit he came in was atrocious and you know it. He wore her favorite colors and didn’t even offer you a handshake or anything? Dearie? Do better you deserve much more than that. Anyway your mom friend is gay and my new puppet boy is madly in love with him. Steve ain’t it? A beauty that one.
Will:… I don’t.. I don’t feel comfortable saying everything. But he judged my life choices..

Remember to not erase characters canon sexualities just to make them match your OC's sexualityyyy
Straight men, lesbians romancing Shadowheart, Shadowheart is still bi/pansexual
Straight women romancing Gale, Gale is still bi/pansexual
Gay men or straight women romancing Astarion. Astarion is still Pansexual
Same goes for the rest of them !!! And no they are not playersexual!! Mix and match any of the possible descriptors for you/your characters sexuality as you see fit and the characters are STILL bi/pan!
No this does not erase your identity!! Just don't erase theirs!!!

It's so frustrating trying to have conversations about bisexuality on here because it quickly becomes clear that a lot of people still unconsciously believe that we can just "choose" what gender to date. You guys seem to understand that lesbians and gay men don't want to fuck every woman or man they come across, so why do so many of you still believe that bisexual attraction works this way? Saying "just date women lol" to a bisexual woman who is airing her grievances about being mistreated by her male partner makes the assumption that it's just as simple as finding any woman and throwing ourselves at them.

Quick tip: If a trans passing guide is focused on thinness, whiteness, or getting rid of anything about yourself that is "too clockable" (regardless of if that thing about yourself makes you happy), maybe it isn't worth fretting about, since it is clearly coming from a homogenized idea of what passing looks like

Friendly reminder that not all aroace people are completely repulsed.
Everyone's experiences with being aromantic/asexual vary a lot & that's okay.
Nobody can dictate who's actually aromantic/asexual because sexuality is a fluid thing.
