its kinda funny that the chaotix are like the only characters who mention having to pay rent or buy food or whatever and theyll take any job that pays because theyre desperate for money but none of the other characters are struggling in this department at all even though most of them dont seem to have jobs. its like the concept of needing money to live exists for no one in the sonic universe EXCEPT for vector espio and charmy

i’m so mad there’s not really such thing as a playplace for grownups. all little kids have to do is get somebody to take them to a mcdonald’s or a park like 15 minutes from their house and boom it’s playground paradise, meanwhile if you’re a 25 year old kid like me i’m expected to be happy with forking out the cashola to go to a whole theme park or pay for a rock climbing gym subscription like whee how fun. a workout routine and an empty wallet. and it’s NOT the same thing as going to the park when it’s nice and quiet out and swinging on the swings or playing hide and seek in the restaurant play area after a delicious cheap burger dinner with the caramel apple slices.

i know it’s probably not in the cards for me but if i ever get the money for it i want a big house with a playground in the backyard and an indoor playroom inside too and i’ll invite all my friends over to play with me :)

Create a "Fake theater" at home! ⧼ 🛰️ ⧽ Spend time with your friends or Significant other. Cuddle, read, game, whatever! ⧼ ☄️ ⧽ Take a nap with your favorite stuffy ⧼ 🪐 ⧽ Have a little treat like a popsicle! Make sure to have good food too! ⧼ 🌌 ⧽ Try your hand at baking! Just make sure you're supervised ⧼ 🌙 ⧽ Go out and stargaze. If you're not somewhere where its easy for you, try to walk somewhere darker and look for constellations! ⧼ 🚀 ⧽ Put on your little cap, and draw a picture for your CG! ⧼ ⭐ ⧽ In the same thought, Try out finger painting! Just make sure its washable paint, and you're in clothes you don't mind getting messy in!

I think it can be true that certain lifestyle changes can help with pain and disability, but people really overplay how those changes will affect people's lives.

I've found that exercise has helped my back pain - I have had chronic back pain that PT didn't touch, but exercise has helped. However, what hasn't changed is what exasperates that pain, and when my pain is especially exasperated, it doesn't matter how much I exercise, I'll be in my bed trying so hard to get out, and I'll be seeing white. So, yes, exercise helped me, but it did not save me. That's an example of what I mean.

It's fine to give (solicited!!) advice to people about how to manage things like this. But I'm begging people to be realistic about this. Lifestyle changes can only do so much, and disabilities are - surprise! - disabling.

◜☄️𓂃 Ways to help your CG when they're feeling down ‧ 🚀◞ (LDR)

Not all of these are guaranteed to work, but they're a very good start! Take into consideration the things your CG likes to do, and how they would help you when you're feeling down

⧼ 1 ⧽ Send them a package!

Create a small care package to send them. maybe make them a bracelet, find them a stuffy of their favorite animal, and maybe add their favorite snacks! Even handmade gifts/crafts and written letters are good enough for your box! Remember, this is coming from the heart

⧼ 2 ⧽ Ask if they want to videocall or other!

For some CGs, just seeing their little is enough to cheer them up! Talk to them, make silly faces, tell funnie stories, anything that might make them laugh! Even if they don't, they'll be smiling for your efforts

⧼ 3 ⧽ Offer to do their favorite things!

Whether it be playing a game, watching a movie, or listening to music, offer to do it with them so they have some company! Indulge a little in their activities and they'll be more than happy to teach you or talk to you about it!

⧼ 4 ⧽ Draw them a picture, or make them a song!

Creations from their little one are guaranteed to put a smile on their face! Maybe you can even mail the drawing to them!! If you aren’t very good at making up stories you could read your favorite story to them instead!

⧼ 5 ⧽ Tell them how much you love them

Sometimes, a CG just needs to know that they're doing well. Remind your CG that you love and appreciate them through things like sending a card, writing a letter, or simply expressing your love through text or phone call!

⧼ 6 ⧽ Let them have some alone time

Some CGs may just need some time to themselves when they're feeling down. it's important to let them know that you're gonna be okay alone and that you will be there for them when they are ready to come back. This can be helpful to feel less overwhelmed and less stressed.
