#like i start forgetting how the characters ACTUALLY behave in most of the scenes
Text
sometimes i'll spend too long looking at fan content like gifs and fanart and fanfic and metas, or writing my own fic and metas, and whenever i get in too deep i have to go back and rewatch a few scenes from the show to remember that this is a Comedy and the characters are all huge clowns almost all the time

Phee and Tan sitting in a tree P-L-O-T-T-I-N-G 🥳
I already rewatched episodes 1-4 once, when it turned out that Phee knew Non, and I even joked that when it turns out that he was working with Tan (there were already theories that Tan was New), I would have to watch these episodes ONCE AGAIN 😄 Not that I'm complaining! I love this series and when I like a series, I love coming back to it. I was going to do it now, especially after episode 10, where the characters were behaving weirdly, but after reading @tbhimnoteasyonmyself fantastic post, I don't have to do it anymore (although I still plan to, maybe after the finale?) because everything is written there 😍
While watching Phee's telling his story to Jin, illustrated with his scenes with Tan and SCENES OF TAN HIMSELF, I kept thinking, wait a minute. What? This is his story, why is he telling shit about Tan, where's his version? Later someone pointed out, that so far, the series has shown events as they are. And yet, suddenly we have a story, and only from one POV. And this story surprisingly whitewashes Phee and makes Tan a monster.
Tumblr media
There's a lot that can be said about Phee, but I never got the impression that he was a coward, that he would gossip about someone he was so close to, just like that, even with Non he wasn't a petty bitch. No matter how angry Phee was at Tan, his pretty much nasty behavior as a friend, exposing him to Jin and then the rest of the crew, was completely ooc. And who would he do it for? For them? His "friends"? Are we sure Phee considers them "friends"?
That's why I watched episode 10 again, and the second time it seemed even more strange and raised a lot of questions. Like that scene in the temple:
how easily Phee accuses Tan. He thinks that Tan created a whole complex and based on a series of random coincidences, yet effective plan to kill Por, he thinks that Tan killed Deng by stretching a wire in broad daylight when someone could have noticed him, he thinks that Tan planned another complicated, based on a series of random coincidences, and yet a super effective action with a scooter, luring Top to the temple, poisoning him, hypnotizing him and sending him home to kill people???
Phee talks the most about Tan, portraying him as the biggest threat, and then starts telling a tearful story, "you don't know what I did", "it's all my fault", "I was so terrible towards Non". What's interesting is that Phee doesn't cry in this scene (at least I don't see any tears, although the lighting isn't good), and as we know, Phee cries easily when he's in pain
what effect does Phee achieve? JIN CONFESSES
TA DA! 🥳🎉🏆
what is Phee's reaction to this - a sigh that sounds like a mix of relief and triumph. And disbelief.
another interesting fact: Phee reacts the same way as to Non's "betrayal", at first he seems unable to believe what he hears, then he starts to pace around furiously, trying to control himself. The only difference is that Jin, unlike Non, does not fuel his anger by staying quiet..
During this time, Tan:
tries to calm Tee down, he wants White to take his gun 🤔
interestingly, later he doesn't stop Fluke when he has a gun! 😏
When Phee and Jin show up at home:
Phee informs everyone that Tan is Non's brother and that he WANTS REVENGE
REMEMBER THAT EVERYONE IS HIGH 🚨
Phee creates an atmosphere of threat, revenge that they deserve, and that it's about Non
REMEMBER THAT EVERYONE IS HIGH 🚨🚨
and what's happening? Phee conveniently doesn't have to say more about Tan and Non, because right after that Fluke takes action, steals the gun, has hallucinations, and kills Top
REMEMBER THAT EVERYONE IS HIGH, they just saw a murder, emotions are running high and they feel trapped 🚨🚨🚨
I watched Tan because I love him from that moment on, he is very pleased with the development of events, he is not angry with Phee at all, Phee also suddenly forgets that Tan was supposed to be the biggest monster and a threat
they both actually behave as if they were playing roles, they recite their lines like they're children in a school play, they play the good cop and the bad cop?
what is the effect of all this: TEE FINALLY STARTS TELLING THE TRUTH!!! 🥳🎉🏆
So I have to ask: How were Phee and Tan supposed to get information about Non after getting the boys high on the first night at the party, as Phee said to Jin? They were supposed to be having a great time and then suddenly Phee and Tan would start questioning them about Non and they would just... blurt out everything? 😆 When did Phee and Tan start getting information? NOW.
So, isn't it the case that Phee and Tan rightly guessed that only Tee could know what happened to Non, because the only one capable of making someone disappear is his uncle? There's a lot to be said about the other guys, but they probably don't have the ability, strength, or stomach to "disappear" a person. Probably not even Tee, but he may have something else: INFORMATION.
Did Phee betray Tan in this ep? I'm 99% sure not. They both watch calmly as the rest of the "friends" accuse each other. Phee pays special attention to Tan AND to Tee:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn't the most important thing for them (or for Tan especially) is discovering the truth that Tee knows, and the rest is just an accidental casualty of their war? Jin may be important to Phee, who might even want to protect him... but maybe not? Maybe Phee has a moral problem with all of this, but he doesn't feel morally better to stop Tan, seeing what all their "friends" started has led to, and even though he doesn't agree with him, he won't bother him?
(While watching episode 10 again, I also noticed this:
Tumblr media
The shadow in the left corner was moving, it looked like there was someone else in the temple with Tan and Top. Non? Perth? Or maybe that woman Keng was working with?)
EDIT: so what I'm trying to say is that Phee and Tan could work together and manipulate others to obtain information about Non, regardless of the costs, and in Tan's case even enjoying the "costs". At least I would like it to be so 😉
Of course, I may see something that isn't there, want to see something more, have too high expectations of DFF. I'm pretty sure that's not the case, but like my dear friend @italianpersonwithashippersheart I've also seen too many good shows that screwed up the ending... But I still have hope 😚 DFF maintained a high standard for me throughout its 10 episodes. Even if they fuck up the ending, even if everything that surprised me in this episode turns out to be me cosplaying Fluke and seeing things that aren't there (and cosplaying Top, because I'm hypnotized by Tan), it's still 10 episodes of excellent content 💖

@clown-weed
Ew. No, actually, it’s not.
Tumblr media
That is not at all what it is about. If it were about being a little kid who’s free-thinking is beaten down by adults making you do nonsensical things out of tyranny, Alice would defeat the Red Queen. She would not have to escape the Red Queen.
Disney’s Alice in Wonderland is a cautionary tale about the kind of attitude that must have everything their own way. It is wrong when the Red Queen does it, and it is wrong when Alice insists on it, in the beginning of the movie.
Let’s be very clear about how stories work. In the opening scene, we are introduced to our main character, the little girl we’re going to follow and relate most closely to for the rest of the story. What do we learn about her? She doesn’t listen to her older sister who tries to explain that she needs her history lesson, with or without pictures, and she wants to live in “a world of her own.”
Where the flowers talk. And the animals wear clothes and talk. And she thinks it would be a Wonderland—it’s all right freaking there in the song.
Tumblr media
Then Alice abandons her history lesson and chases an example of that world she so badly wants—where everything would be her own way—the White Rabbit. And from that moment on, every action she takes goes like this: “well, I know I should probably stop and think before I do this thing, but I’m going to do it anyway because I feel like it.”
Tumblr media
She feels like crawling into a hole after the White Rabbit, and she does, and she falls into a world she can’t get out of. She feels like crying because she’ll never get home, and she does, and she floods the room. Her whole problem is that she often knows what the right thing to do is, but she just does whatever she wants in the moment because she wants it.
Like a little kid who obeys every fleeting impulse.
Enter the Queen of Hearts. A character who just wants what she wants. She’s the definition of what Alice could be if she takes her worst character trait—wanting things just her own way—and keeps chasing that.
Tumblr media
In the end, Alice runs away from the Red Queen. She wakes up from her nightmare and immediately tries to obey her sister and “recite” in a panic. It’s kind of a joke—she starts reciting what the Caterpillar recited in her dream out of confusion—but the truth is, that’s where we leave Alice. She’s reciting, otherwise known as “repeating a lesson learned.” A long way from where she was at the beginning of the movie, when she was refusing to pay attention to her history lesson because it didn’t have the pictures she liked.
The movie is about the dangerous habit of jumping into whatever you want to jump into and waiting for things to be your own way, simply because you want them that way. The movie is about finding out that what you really want—a world with no responsibility, no long-term memory, no sense, and no future—is actually not a Wonderland, but a place to get lost and forget who you are. It’s a place you should come out of, eventually, unless you want to be completely out of touch with reality and behaving like everyone else should match your whims—just like a certain Queen of Hearts.
Don’t give me that “stick it to the man,” ageless idiocy of a mistaken notion that children somehow know better than adults. Children will stick their hands on red-hot stovetops and run out into traffic and completely ignore learning from the mistakes of their ancestors in their history lessons if they don’t have adults to help them. As a certain wise parent once said, “they’ll grab at the first shiny thing with flashy ribbons you wave in front of them. All a parent can do is say, ‘wait, trust me.’”
I mean, the last freakin’ shot of the movie is, the girl who was chasing nonsense in the form of a White Rabbit is now following her responsible older sister. Jeez.
Tumblr media
All three of the directors on Alice in Wonderland had children, and you know Disney himself had his two daughters before Alice in Wonderland ever came out. If you think for one minute that this movie was about how kids are forced to learn nonsense, rather than taught not to overindulge in nonsense when it turns you into an out-of-touch tyrant, you are duping yourself.

The Yuzuki Family's Four Sons Episode 12 Review + Final Thoughts - Gakuto And His Brothers' Daily Lives
Why does this anime have to end? Thursdays now feel empty…. I’m glad that this show has been nothing but sweet slice of life. I really enjoyed it a lot from start to finish.
Tumblr media
The final episode is about Gakuto starting to write in a diary. As a six-year-old, he has no idea what to do with a diary, but with advice from Mikoto, Gakuto starts journaling his daily life, thoughts and feelings on the things that transpire. I actually got my first diary when I was around Gakuto’s age too, so I get how Gakuto thinks. Though, I wasn’t as mature as him back then, but I did like using my diary to write about stuff; I don’t remember what I wrote back then, but getting my first diary made me a frequent diary writer at my age; it’s crazy how my habit of writing transitioned from childhood to adulthood.
Gakuto writes about events in his life like how Hayato got home early from work and went grocery shopping to make something Gakuto wanted to eat, how he witnessed and envied the closeness of Mikoto and Minato when the former was tutoring the latter, how Hayato thought about his younger brothers after being an only child for a long time, how Mikoto and Minato thought about him, and how he feels about going to his family’s grave every month. All the moments were so adorable and shows how tight-knit the brothers are.
One scene that got me was when the brothers decide to make their monthly visit to their parents’ grave. Gakuto, in particular thought, about a memory he had with his parents where they were waiting for the kindergarten bus to come. I think the saddest thing about that memory is that is most likely the only strong memory he has of them. He lost his parents when he was four; he’s currently six. As time goes by, Gakuto will forget that particular memory. While he can still remember his parents’ faces via photos, the expressions and emotions he had felt from the memories will fade away when he gets older because he spent the least amount of time with them before their passing. That’s really bittersweet to think about. I know that his brothers will make up for it by telling him stories so that he can keep his parents’ memories alive within himself, but it wouldn’t be the same.
This final episode showed the personalities of all the brothers and it’s actually amazing to watch. Hayato behaves like a parent, but I do like seeing his vulnerable and stricter sides. Mikoto, while still a brocon, has more affection for Gakuto than I assumed he would; while he does see him as a rival for Minato’s affections, Gakuto’s maturity and innocence dazzles him at times; the scene where Minato tries to blow him away was funny. Minato is a huge simp for Gakuto, even saying that he finds his breathing cute; calm down, dude. I like that while Minato is very stubborn and rambunctious, he instantly flips like a switch when it comes to Gakuto; the baby brother practically has the third brother wrapped around his fingers.
The ending was very sweet. After seeing the rainbows, the brothers decide to spend the rest of the day doing something memorable that Gakuto can write down in his diary. When all three of them ask where he wants to go, he says that anywhere is fine as long as he has his brothers. That’s so sweet. They’re such a tight-knit family.
Final Thoughts
This anime was heavily overshadowed by the big names of this season; I don’t blame it as this season was STACKED! While the beginning was rough around the edges due to the poor subtitles, it still managed to gain some watchers, like me!
I do like that all the characters in the show feel human. They have both good and bad traits and neither are glorified nor villainized. They’re very flawed characters, but that’s also a good thing. While they fight, I can see how close they all are. I think the best part about these characters are that they don’t stick to one specific trope; yes, even Mikoto isn’t a brocon all the time. Hayato may seem like the mom-like brother, but even he has his own internal issues when it comes to his existence. Minato seems like a brat, but he has a good heart and can be mature when necessary. Gakuto, while mature, struggles with trying to be a kid and trying to grow up faster to not be a liability. The Kirishima family, while supporting characters, have their fair shares of flaws too.
I think the writing was great too. All the situations the brothers deal with aren’t dealt with in normal anime-like fashion. Two episodes that come to mind are Episodes 6 and 7 where Minato struggles with realizing that his relationship with Uta might change in the future and how he first met Uta who was moody from her parents’ divorce. The plot for those episodes went in routes I didn’t expect them to take. In typical fashion, Uta and Minato would’ve been a couple here and there, but their relationship did not progress to love and stayed platonic.
The opening and ending songs were great and the OST was good to listen to as well. When it comes to animation, I was rather surprised. What I know from Studio Shuka is that they were the ones that animated the remaining seasons of Durarara!!, so having them do something slice of life like this show was a first for me. The action scene in Episode 7 was so well-coordinated too! It shows that they can go all out, even for a show like this and deliver flawlessly.
It sucks that this show won’t get a season 2 nor would it get an English license for the manga. I’d love to read it. I’ve grown so attached to this family. This is definitely a slice of life, family story that I would recommend others to watch. What are your thoughts on the finale and the show as a whole?

I understand why Ricky and Gina shippers are convinced S3 will be a romantic exploration for their ship b/c so many of the newest sneak peeks may suggest this (and the fact they've been content starved since 2.06. I get it. I do😅). However, I can't stop thinking about this moment:
Tumblr media
Do y'all see how happy and playful Ricky is with EJ here? If you told S1 EJ and Ricky they'd be having a pillow fight someday they would have laughed in your face!😂 I just love how far they've come from where they started on the show. I would never claim that Ricky and EJ are the best of friends, because I don't believe that to be true, but you can't deny that they certainly started to really become friends by S2, esp 2.10 when Ricky tried to be there for EJ by helping him solve his problem. EJ seems to be wearing the same jacket from the trailer when he and Gina have what looks like another heart to heart (where he says he's "freaking out"). I believe that's 3.03, where Ricky and Gina go on a “spooky adventure” (or something like that). The very fact that Ricky is behaving this playfully with someone who he used to consider an enemy is major. In S1, Ricky very obviously tried to put a wedge between Nini and EJ b/c he wanted Ejini to break up so that he could get back t/g with her. Two seasons later, and what looks like could be the most fun he's had in a long time, I get the feeling Ricky isn't gonna try to cause intentional drama for Portwell. I actually think the fictional Corbin Bleu's character is going to cause more intentional drama this season for the Wildcats, including PW in 3.04/3.05 (I think those are the episodes):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you see how satisfied Corbin looks at whatever drama is unfolding? I think he really wants his documentary to be juicy and drama-filled, hence Ricky seemingly storming off out of rehearsals, and EJ following after him while Ashlyn looks worried about what she's seeing. Channing is clearly following all the drama with his camera, which makes me think Corbin intentionally pushed some buttons for Gina, EJ, and Ricky, but again, it's not Ricky intentionally trying to come between PW. I think this scene may follow the above:
Tumblr media
You see how EJ initially looks happy as he approaches Ricky, then his smile drops when he sees Gicky playing around with that paper? I think it's possible he walked out after Ricky to try to comfort him after some drama Corbin started, but then he sees this scene play out in front of him, and maybe something (an insecurity, for example🤔) Corbin touched on earlier in the rehearsal space affects EJ in this moment. I think this might be Ricky just continuing to have fun during his summer, not trying to cause problems b/t PW. He and Gina are friends again, which puts them in a good place (which I was hoping for after S2😔). This might be Ricky just having fun with his friends, like with EJ in that pillow fight LOL 🤣but EJ misinterprets what he sees. Again, his girlfriend and the guy she used to have feelings for are playing romantic leads. EJ might be afraid history will repeat itself, but I doubt it. I feel S3 will have a diff outcome...*cough cough* Portwell Love Confession *cough cough*😉
Also, let’s stop acting like EJ will do anything to ruin his relationship with Gina (jealousy rising or otherwise). 🤦🏽‍♀️Did we forget what Gina said about him in 2.08? Let me remind you:
Tumblr media
Y'all really going to tell me this don't sound like foreshadowing for their journey in S3? Just like Mitchie in Camp Rock 2 and Troy in HSM2, I guarantee you EJ will lose sight of what's really important to him for a bit, before coming back around at the end of the season by doing what's right and remembering his priorities (like his promise for this to be the "best summer ever" in 3.01)). Mitchie and Troy made similar promises at the beginning of their summers to Shane and Gabriella, before conflict rises mid way, then settles/gets resolved again by the end of their summers. That’s my prediction anyway. 🤷🏽‍♀️
(I should be writing up the 6 reports I have due soon, yet here I am. The power of Portwell. 😅 )

hi!! i know i probably sound insane at this point, but i love your posts so i have a few svetlana questions. if svet and yevgeny had stayed until the series finale what do you think would have happened with their characters? what would svetlana do when mickey gets out in season 10? would she and yevgeny attend the gallavich wedding? would svetlana stay in the thruple or get her own place or would something else happen? what would be a proper ending for her?? she’s such an interesting character and we were so robbed when she left with such a bad ending
Noooo I love your asks and asks in general, I am always more than happy to talk about Svetlana.
So before I get into these questions, I just want to preface this by saying that, even though I'm on my third rewatch, I still don't have a good "big picture" concept of each season, especially past S8. So I probably won't get into timeline specifics because my general recollection of the timeline is...not great. I've also never really thought about how Svetlana's storyline would have played out if she'd stayed on the show, so this will be entirely off the cuff.
Personally, I would have liked to see the throuple to work out. I think, because it was executed imperfectly, that there was a lot of potential to work out those kinks and improve on what needed improving. I think they should have delved into each of those dynamics more and showed us how they complemented one another. One of the things I missed in S7-8 was Kev and Svetlana's friendship. They bonded in S5 and worked alongside each other all of S6, but then as soon as they all became a throuple, the focus shifted to Svetlana and V (to the point where you almost forget that it was initially Svet and Kev who made a connection).
All three of their feelings, concerns, etc. should have been properly explored (one short therapy session scene wasn’t enough) and their issues should have been addressed and gradually worked out over the course of the season. I would have liked to see more meaningful conversations between them, not just short little disagreements that conveniently resolved themselves by the end of the episode without them getting to the actual root of the issue. Svetlana wasn't a good communicator, Kev would resort to immaturity any time he got angry, and V frequently put Svetlana on a pedestal while neglecting to consider Kev's feelings. They all had things they could work on.
As far as how it would all play out, I think it would have been good for Svetlana to be on her own for a bit. She could focus on herself and raising Yevgeny and maybe reflect on where she went wrong in her relationship with Kev and V. So let's say that by the end of S8 she's living in the apartment above the Alibi with Yev and her aunt. (She's not paying rent because Kev and V owe her that much after reporting her to ICE and generally treating her like shit.)
When S9 starts, she still owns 50% of the bar and is working alongside Kev and V. Maybe there's still some awkwardness from the whole breakup, but for the most part they're doing okay. I honest to god don't remember what Kev and V's plots are this season, but I think this is the one where Amy and Gemma start acting up and one of them says something about how they don't remember the girls behaving this way when Svetlana was around? I thought it was odd that they didn't consider that the twins missed their stepbrother and stepmom, so...Amy and Gemma start acting up, and they realize it's because the 'divorce' really affected them.
They talk to Svetlana about this (Yevgeny misses his sisters too) and decide to arrange playdates with the kids. I always felt that Svetlana just taking off to marry that old dude was too clean a break. I mean, they made no mention of a divorce, didn't have to deal with custody, didn’t bring up Svetlana’s 50% ownership of the bar, and never had the kids see each other again? That’s so lazy. So anyway, this gradually ends up bringing them all closer together again. They discuss putting the kids in the same preschool and it's all very full circle to S5.
Another thing I would have liked to see for Svetlana is her no longer having to depend on another person for a visa. The show never addressed her and V getting a divorce, so I have no idea when that happened, but let's say that they get one in S8. I am not an expert in immigration law by any means, but my guess is that Svetlana would be left in a similar position as she was in S6. So, she does some research, applies for a T Visa, and ends up being eligible for one. This is a huge relief for her because it's the first time that her status in the country is legitimately secured. By the end of the season she's saved up enough money to get her own place (the room above the Alibi isn't big enough for three people), so she rents a nice little apartment where Yev can have his own room. She also enrolls him in some sort of activity— maybe dance or gymnastics, whatever he shows interest in.
Come S10 she's thriving. Once again I have no idea what happens this season other than Gallavich wedding, so I apologize for not being able to incorporate more plot-relevant storylines. I'll come back to this ask once I’m further in my rewatch. Anyway, this is the season where shit really starts going her way for once— she's doing pretty good money-wise, she's officially back on good terms with Kev and V, and Yevgeny is thriving. She's got lots of ideas for bringing in business to the bar, and maybe a couple of side hustles for good measure. She's still in touch with most of the girls from the massage parlor and one of them ends up giving her the number of a therapist who specializes in helping survivors of human trafficking. She sits on it for a long time but finally brings herself to call when she gets news from her mother in Russia that her father passed away.
She finds out about Mickey getting out of prison from Ian. They end up reconnecting and talking somethings out and Svetlana tells Mickey that if he wants to have a relationship with Yev, whether in a parental capacity or otherwise, then the door is always open. He asks her about the whole throuple situation— teases her about how he would have loved to be a fly on the wall— and she assures him that that ship sailed and that she blew it. She gets invited to the Gallavich wedding and attends with Yevgeny. Mandy is also in attendance, and the two of them get to talking and wonder why they didn't bond sooner.
S11 is when she's finally a place where she's ready to try and make a relationship work again. She's grown and healed a lot since S8, and she's no longer dependent on anyone for security so that anxiety has ceased being a motivating factor for her actions. Kev and V have since apologized and made up for everything that they put her through, and Svetlana understands why they felt betrayed about the bar and apologizes for hurting them. The three of them start to rebuild their relationship throughout the season, determined not to make the same mistakes as last time. Eventually they decide to move in together and buy a place somewhere away from the Southside, though still not too far. It feels like a proper fresh start.
Ian and Mickey start to be a part of Yev's life and Svetlana considers them family. She also becomes very close with Mandy and encourages her to go back to school so that she can get a better job. She’s relieved when Mickey informs her that Terry died, but attends the funeral in solidarity. His mixed feelings remind her somewhat of her own when her father passed.
Post-series, Kev and V get to practice the little Russian that Svetlana has taught them when they finally meet her family (her mother and grandmother fly out to Chicago to see her and meet Yev for the first time). They’ve learned to embrace her culture. Yevgeny is fully fluent and the tries to teach Amy and Gemma. He’s also inherited his mom’s mathematical prowess. Svetlana is safe and happy and finally has what he always wanted for herself and her son— a loving family. Several years down the line she’s able to obtain citizenship.

hey user bttmike here (it’s my side blog so I unless I ask anonymously people would see my main blog lol)
I was gonna comment on the recent ask since you asked for opinions but I guess I’m rambling a lot bc the space wasn’t enough odjfoenfof anyway here is my useless opinion:
I didn’t see it that way at all! In that chapter will was kinda going through the motions of internalised homophobia and pda considering the 80s but it was very clear why he was feeling that way. And it didn’t leak into the sex part of the chapter at all. To me he was comfortable with it, he wasn’t disgusted.
I also don’t think you write him out of character. If anything you portray it really well. I believe his playful and teasing self that we see sometimes in the show would be a huge part of his sex life. We don’t get to see more of it in the show bc they’re fighting monsters most of the time but the blissful few and far between moments where everything is normal, Will is a little shit and I’m here for it!!
He blatantly flirts with Mike -he doesn’t actually but that’s the point it’s natural for him- and this happens when he thinks the boy is straight! Imagine how bigger this part of him will get once they’re together. You’re telling me he doesn’t poke Mike on the nose and squishes his cheek just to see Mike get so flustered? Lol.
I think once he’s comfortable with Mike in a sexually intimate way after the initial few times, he let’s his personality lurk in the bedroom and shows the same behaviour during their sex life too.
This reminded me of a sentence you wrote regarding the one shot with them doing the deed in the car. It was something along the lines of they can get freaky in the sheets just for the pleasure and not just to be closer physically, like it didn’t have to be romantic.
Anyway, I didn’t see any disgust or ooc behaviour. Would love to read other people’s opinions too!
omg heyyyy i love your blog!!
i'm very glad that the internalized homophobia and pda discomfort that will was experiencing in the beginning of the chapter didn't leak into the sex scene! i didn't think that it did, especially since i feel i made it very clear WHY will was feeling and behaving the way he was in the beginning of the chapter
AND YES will teases mike all the time when we see them being just... regular teenagers in the show! i think some people tend to forget that will is a little shit - he's sassy, never takes mike's shit, and stands up for himself when he has to/feels like it's safe enough for him to do so. did everyone forget the s3 scene of him going "is it early, michael?" which is literally the type of teasing will is doing in my fanfic during the sex scenes! it's never supposed to come across as mean or stoic
and, yeah! byler in my story right now is also starting to explore sex in a "oh hey, it doesn't have to be soft and romantic all the time even though we love each other, it can also be about letting of steam and just having fun with what feels good" way in my story. which i think is a natural progression in anyone's sex life

Hi! I’m new to your page, nice to meet you! :) I must ask, because I’m so curious! Was there ever a time where you did like Dany at all and really enjoyed her character or did your hate for her become more clear when D&D rushed her character development and she pretty much became mad in the process? I hope you enjoy HOTD a ton watching things unfold. :) I am looking forward to it! I definitely enjoy the history of the Targs and how their empire turned into ash. Anyways, have an incredible day! :)
Oh dear, I started drafting an answer to this and then completely forgot it! I suppose a very, very, very late answer is better than none at all...?
Anyway, how nice of you to give me an excuse to ramble about my complicated relationship with Dany for a while. I apologise, this got really long.
The short answer is yes, I was one hundred percent aboard the Dany hype train at one point, but that changed long before the show's writing really started going downhill. I actually still enjoy her character, but I went from liking her as a hero to appreciating her as a villain.
I think a lot of people forget that the show really whitewashed Dany's character from the very beginning in order to sell her as a Strong Female Character™ for feminism points. The sack of Astapor is probably the best example of this; Dany murders a lot of people (even if they're bad people) and the books depict how Astapor descends into chaos with many more dying as a direct result of her actions. Those consequences are largely glossed over in the show and the cinematic language of that scene frames it as a triumphant moment.
The closest thing to a watershed moment was the scene in season 4 where Hizdahr confronts Dany about her crucifying his father, despite him having spoken out against the very crime he was being punished for, the crucifixion of Meereenese children. I hadn't yet read the books at this point and I remember watching that scene and going "oh, shit. Did she not look into whether the people she punished were the ones who actually did it?" I'd assumed she must have done that, because after all, that's what a hero would do, and Dany was supposed to be a hero. Right?
I read the books between seasons 4 and 5 and was surprised by how much worse Dany comes off there. The books really are a lot more concerned with the messy reality of politics than the show ever was and that difference does not work in Dany's favour. Reading about her profiting from slavery despite selling herself as an abolitionist and utterly failing to replace the slave trade with a reliable alternative, I became more and more convinced that Dany was not a good ruler, or a hero. Her "dragons plant no trees" epiphany at the end of ADWD was what finally convinced me that she was a villain in the making - and a brilliantly written one at that. She may be one of the most powerful people in the world who controls what are essentially nukes, but she is also a child. Of course that's not going to end well. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. What an amazing character arc.
And that would have been that, if the show hadn't kept trying to sell Dany as a feminist hero long, long past the point where it should have started building up to her inevitable fall from grace. I kept expecting the show to stop whitewashing her and that moment just never seemed to come. On the contrary, the show reveled in Dany's violence and kept framing it as justified.
Worse, the way some - some - of Dany's stans behave started really getting under my skin. It's fine to interpret her character differently and to want a different ending for her in the books. She is after all a sympathetic character and the show kept framing her as a hero right up until the end, which is why I do have some sympathy for the people who didn't see it coming. At this point I wouldn't even really care that many of Dany's fans to this day still deny that she has ever done anything wrong, if it weren't for the fact that some of them - again, some - go out of their way to harass and pick fights with the people who criticise Dany. The times that people have come into the notes of my (correctly tagged, mind you) Dany-critical posts to aggressively attack my opinion in really nasty ways are too numerous to count. Respectful disagreement is one thing; attacks and toxicity are quite another.
Again, I promise, I really do understand why some people didn't see her fall from grace coming and felt betrayed by it. But attacking the people who did see it coming and pointed it out is where I draw the line. That is where my sympathy ends.
And unfortunately, my annoyance with the people who behave this way started bleeding into my feelings about Dany herself. I still like her as a wonderfully written villain (in the books, at least) but I am now at a point where I'm really annoyed by her, because I've seen so, so many people defend even her most indefensible actions and attack those who think differently. Again, I thought she was going to go dark years before she actually did. Plenty of people predicted it. She's always been a villain. A sympathetic and fascinating villain, but a villain nonetheless.

The problem I have with Cas Crowfeather pt. #1
Usually, I am not doing serious posts in which I talk about characters I don’t like. I did it for fun on my Winx sideblog on which I did/do a post series in which I bitch about season 5. But that is fun. This is serious business. So why that? I started watching Weirdsister College yesterday again and Cas was just the most unlikeable new character ever in a first episode. But let’s break this down:
We see her first when she rides her bike to college and gets stopped by Ethel’s car. She’s angry and switches the traffic light to red. Fine. If I was in her situation I’d be pissed too. Too bad, that I hate riding a bike and therefore as a car driver hate those who do but lets get back to the show.
The first time she attracts negative attention is when she enters Milly’s room, sees Ethel and immediately starts bitching:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
And Ethel (at least seems to be) is really sorry and apologizes and what does Cas do?
Tumblr media
Ohh, you blame it on the servants! Girl? Ethel DID not drive! So how is that blaming the servants when the chauffeur maybe has a problem with bicycles? Every car driver has a problem with bicycles.
So Cas stays a total bitch and so Ethel volunteers to make the breakfast in the morning as an offering of peace. For Ethel’s standards that is the nicest thing in the world. Yes, we know she only tries to be on good terms with Mildred so that Mildred draws a picture of the all-seeing eye so that they can all pass. But firstly: Cas does not know that Ethel is a bit fake friendly here and secondly Milly does this for Nick only and gets upset later on when he wants to go before Ethel so that the all-seeing eye will also let her pass. So Ethel actually never had the chance to pass the all-seeing eye with Milly's help because she wouldn't help her anyway even though Ethel acts nice now. So Ethel does not even benefit from acting nice.
So but what happens next? It’s the next morning and Cas says this:
Tumblr media
(At least that is what she says in the German dub I don’t really understand her accent very well in the English original)
So. Excuse me? Yes, Ethel failed with the breakfast but she did it anyway! Why does Cas need to bitch here again? It’s obvious, that her character is only there to be Milly’s cheerleader. She has no reason yet to be so negative about Ethel. If she’d know her like Milly, yes, then it would be fine if she mistrusted her but out of nowhere?? That’s just pretty damn uncool from her.
And now look at her face when Ethel passed the all-seeing eye:
Tumblr media
What.A.Fkn.Bitch.
So don’t get me wrong. Ethel is a bitch herself and we love her for that. The problem I have with Cas is that she treats Ethel like shit from the start without knowing her. I am also pretty allergic to talking behind someone's back. Cas has zero reason to behave that way and while doing so she proves that SHE is the actual bitch in here.
Sorry if you like her but she is just the worst. A badly written character only there to be on Milly’s side in every situation. I really wished they had brought Maud back. She was a lovely bestie and a well-written character who even had some arguments with Milly. But Cas? Is always there to defend Milly out of nowhere for no reason. Milly does not need a cheerleader. We also don't need someone to bitch about Ethel. We know that Ethel isn't the nice girl next door without Cas being bitchy about her
What f*cks me up too is this scene:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's just the worst to talk about someone's iconic fashion statement as something bad. Especially calling it childish. I'll never forget wearing two normal bunches (without braiding) at age 14 and my friend telling me that it looked childish. Ew. Eww. I remember Cas also criticizing Milly's fashion style later on and wanting to change it - which Milly does. It is not wrong to try something new or to change one's style to make a step into a new stage of life. But one has to do it on their own. Without people judging. It has to be the own free will. And I hate Cas judging Milly for that. It's okay if Milly wants to change it herself but Cas talking bad about it is not okay.
There will be a part #2 eventually if I have to vent again while rewatching. I love the show and just had to get it off my chest lmao.

The Runaway Re-Watch
I have not watched this episode in forever, & I think I appreciated it more during this re-watch than I have in the past. Despite having some really amazing parts, this episode overall involves a lot of bickering & not the funny banter kind, the kind that feels a little too real - which is good writing, but it's not always the most fun to watch, for me at least. I think I just relate a lot to Katara, & that makes some of the arguments hit too close to home. As an eldest daughter, & someone who has been accused (totally falsely of course!) of being a bit high-strung (& as someone who has definitely gotten into bad arguments with friends over them doing reckless shit) I just really, really felt for Katara in this episode lol
I think the reason I like this episode more now is that I've put a lot more thought into all the characters, particularly Toph. The conflict between Katara & Toph in this episode is actually pretty interesting & makes a lot of sense when you think about their very different histories. Katara came from a village where she had to help out, there was no option, she was just expected to step up & not only help out with chores but be responsible. Remember when Aang shows up? Katara says (of penguin sledding) "I haven't done this since I was a kid!" & Aang has to remind her that she still is a kid. Toph meanwhile came from a sheltered household where she was completely restrained & never allowed to do anything - & where she had servants looking after her. So, of course, there are ongoing conflicts between them about how to behave.
I think I took issue with Katara & Toph's bickering not existing as part of a larger arc the first time that I watched this show because I kept expecting it to go somewhere & for them to overcome their differences. They are a lot closer by the end of this episode than they were at the start, & they understand each other more, but you don't get the sense that they'll always get along from now on. Having thought about it more...I don't have a problem with this. It makes sense. Even aside from their different histories, the girls have clashing personalities. They're going to fight. They still care about each other deeply, like family.
There are 3 parts of this episode that I really enjoyed a lot.
1. Katara & Toph bonding emotionally & then breaking out of prison thanks to Katara’s epic sweat bending (+1000 iconic behavior points for Katara)
Tumblr media
[id: Katara & Toph, sitting in a wooden prison. end id]
2. Sokka & Aang’s comedy in this episode was pretty nice. I especially enjoyed the two of them forgetting Toph can’t read or write while planning to push the girls to get along.
3. The water siblings!!!!
My favorite part of this episode is what it tells us about the water siblings. I loved the scene between Sokka & Toph that Katara overheard.
Sokka: When our mom died, that was the hardest time in my life. Our family was a mess, but Katara? She had so much strength. She stepped up and took on so much responsibility. She helped fill the void that was left by our mom.
Katara took on so much at so young an age - this episode makes it really hard to remember that Katara is younger than Sokka - & I think it’s both sad & amazing to think about that.
Then we have this exchange -
Sokka: I'm gonna tell you something crazy. I never told anyone this before, but honestly? I'm not sure I can remember what my mother looked like. It really seems like my whole life, Katara's been the one looking out for me. She's always been the one that's there. And now, when I try to remember my mom, Katara's is the only face I can picture. [Katara, touched by what Sokka says, is reduced to tears.]
Toph: The truth is sometimes Katara does act motherly, but that's not always a bad thing. She's compassionate and kind, and she actually cares about me. [Wipes away tears from her left eye.] You know, the real me. That's more than my own mom. [Katara, deeply touched by Toph's words, sinks slightly into the water. Toph punches Sokka in the arm.] Don't ever tell her I said any of this!
We’re out of the 3 big draws of this episode for me now, but I also did enjoy the montage of the scams Toph, Sokka, & Aang pulled. I was definitely happy to see the return of Wang Fire.
This was certainly an interesting episode, & I enjoyed re-watching & thinking about it. Thanks for reading my rambling thoughts & (late) Merry Christmas if you celebrate!

when mike and el have a real conversation about their relationship in season 5 and decide to take a break and remain friends. they both grow individually and rediscover their love for each other over the course of their friendship and get back together post time jump yea
nlg this is the only way i see Mileven working once again and I would actually accept it, if they did this, assuming they do show me how they both grow outside of their relationship and how that helps them solve the issues they had as a couple.
contrary to popular belief, I don't hate Mileven, in fact I actually really like them? I always shipped them, and while I could see that Will had feelings for Mike, I never jumped on the Byler train because I was part of that chunk of general audience that strongly believed that Mike would never feel the same for him and the last thing I wanted for Will was for the writers to make him go through heartbreak on top of everything else. So I always rooted for a new character to come in and make Will forget about Mike.
Until the writers decided to make me rethink Mike completely with season 4 and make Will so utterly IN LOVE with him. The moment they made Mike behave weirdly towards Will, bringing up Byler explicitly for the first time but also showing that there's something going on inside Mike's head that is kept hidden, is the moment I started wondering: why?
I think Mileven is a cute couple. People say they have no chemistry, I think they do when they are properly written. The problem is that they haven't been written that way AT ALL in S4. THAT's what should worry you. THAT's what made me feel like this might be going in a direction different from what it always seemed to me?
The Duffers know how to write them in a way that makes people root for them. Even with how little they had to work with in S1 and S2 they still gave them such beautiful scenes together, which is why I liked them in the first place, and I'm saying this knowing full well that Mike spends most of his time in S2 with Will, mind you. But they didn't do that in S4. They purposefully wrote Mileven in a dismissive way. They chose to put emphasis on Will's feelings for Mike and left Mileven in ambiguos waters.
If the point of it was to make us feel for Will, the most effective way to go about it would have been to show us how good Mileven are together. That would have reached the same goal. But that's not what they did at all. They showed us that Will believes they are the perfect couple, but they also purposefully shown to the audience that THEY ARE NOT.
Not just that, they had Mike NOT tell Will what the problem between them was at all. They left even that ambigous for no apparent reason. But do you know what never exists in storytelling? A choice made without a reason.
Mike didn't tell Will what the problem was and there is a reason for it. They purposefully made him say "if I told her THAT THING" instead of having him say "if i told her I loved her" because clearly that's a plot point. There's a point to Mike not being able to mention it to Will. Or agreeing to Will saying "what if they don't like the truth?". What is there for El to not like about Mike telling her he loves her? Uh. Something doesn't add up? And of course Will doesn't get it, because that's the whole point, Will is not supposed to know that Mike and El aren't the perfect couple, but the audience IS.
In fact, we are spoon-fed this very truth for the whole season.
The writers chose to have them all lie and the writers chose to put Will at the center of all Mileven's scenes for the duration of an ENTIRE SEASON.
That's what made me feel like Mileven wasn't as cute as they were before. They didn't make me care for them even one bit for the whole duration of the season because they purposefully framed them so that I would not care.
They framed and wrote them so I would only care for how Will would view them instead.
And guess what? What's exactly what I did.
They made me wear Will's shoes and I wore them for the duration of S4. They didn't just introduce me to Byler, they literally pushed me (and I'm guessing a lot of other people, judging by the numbers) onto it and told me "you want this now" and, fuck, I did. I do.
I don't ship Byler for its potential, I ship Byler because the writers made it so that I would, and that's what I think should be the most concerning to people who do not ship it.
They spent a whole season making sure that people would literally fall into the Byler train and sacrified the opposing relationship to do so. Do you really think it was just so they could go "ah just kidding" in S5 and end the storyline there?
I know for sure that's not the case.

Thoughts for when you wake up. I also didn't proofread bc I'm sleepy and lazy. Apologies:
Escape Room 1: it was a nice concept! Fresh and fun, I though. Plus, I really love psychological thrillers, so this movie was up my alley. I think the characters behaved quite naturally for people placed in the situation they were in, and they were all unique enough to where they evokes certain emotions from you. The cinematography was awesome and I enjoyed a majority of the film. The ending was a bit, "eh..." for me. Mostly bc wtf was that plane scene? I also didn't like how they "seemingly" won, but it turns out they just got fucked over again by some allknowing being like...shut up
Escape Room 2: the ending from the last one didn't have me too excited for the second one, ngl. I was happy so see Holland Rolland in it, however, so it was okay. I said, "they finally got her in something other than teen wolf" ☠️☠️☠️ anyway. I'll be real, the second one didn't have my full attention one hundred percent of the time lmao. The scenes were still very pretty, but the premise was too similar to the first one. And like...of course it's gonna be? Bc they're in the same type of situation?? But damnn, I didn't need a lot of this. And it was very :/ bc the main girl (I forget her name) was acting more reckless in the second film like...wasn't she supposed to be the cautious one? And the dude who didn't gaf was more logical most of the time? Come on man... I also didn't like how they were all like, "ooh, in my game..." like...this isn't your first game, focus on the now omg
And don't get me started on how they kept bringing back people! Why didn't the military vet die?? Her plot and why she was making the game was stupid and it felt like someone pulled it out of their ass at the last minute 😒
Part two was annoying and I barely remember the ending. I feel like they set it up for a part three? But who knows...
Now, I have another question. Have you ever seen The Exam or The Lodge (both psych thrillers)?
Ahh thank you for sending them <3😌 (probably) big rant ahead lmao
Omgg I agree, I enjoyed the first one, it was an interesting premise and it had a good set of characters. Also at first it wasn’t quite clear (to me at least) who the MC was or if there even was one and I thought that was kind of cool too? Or for example I knew Zoe (?) wasn’t actually dead when she died from that poison but still. Predictability doesn’t always have to be bad. Omg it was annoying that they all kinda worked alone tho? 💀 like whenever someone found a clue/hint/whatever they would spend 5 minutes trying to solve it on their own like I’m sure at least one life could have been spared if they actually talked to each other dhsks
But I didn’t like the end either like I hate how nowadays they’re always setting everything up for a part two like ofc I get they want to make money but chill. If you’re a good writer you can easily make a part two even if you didn’t set up the whole plot in the previous film. And tbh even after the second film I didn’t understand how the ‘boss’ (idr his name) knew EVERYTHING. like i was so sure there was gonna be something supernatural involved bc even with all the technology we have today and genius people.. it’s just way too unrealistic that they planned everything THAT well. And idm unrealistic films but like this was supposed to be a realistic psychological thriller so.
I was happy that Holland was in it too! And yeah I think I’ve only ever seen her as Lydia tbh 😭and she looked so different (and more grown up obv) but I was happy to see her. And omg yeah I mean maybe it was just the novelty of it but I liked the rooms in the first one more too. And same same same I mean Zoe was so shy in the first film and I liked that she became more confident but at the same time.. aren’t you traumatised lmao. And I would have liked if they gave her a different arc with her confidence like idk in the first one she was shy and got a bit more confident bc she solved some clues and obviously the end but idk. They did talk about the trauma tho which I liked bc usually in those type of films the go through a life altering situation and two days later they’re sitting on some beach and chilling like shouldn’t you be in therapy💀 good for them if they’re not traumatised but it’s usually so unrealistic. And yeahh they kept talking about their old games that, in the end, had nothing to do w this one as if they had any time to waste lol.
ALSO i didn’t realise that they were not together??? At the end of ER 1 i thought they were together and on a date and in the second one i also thought they were together but then when he “died” she was like ‘he was my best friend’… ma’am didn’t you see how you were looking at each other? They didn’t kiss but that didn’t matter like they were clearly in love and I was at least hoping for friends to lovers bc it was just annoying that nothing romantic actually happened between them. And yeah the end of the second one.. I think they set it up for a part 3 but I stopped paying attention by then shsksjssk but the girl (the actress who plays that esther orphan girl) locked her dad in and said she’s gonna make her parents proud by making even cooler escape rooms but like i said i wasn’t fully paying attention so maybe that’s not what she said lol
Okay that’s enough sorry shsjsjsks
I haven’t watched either of those but they seem interesting 👀 but there are a few films called the exam so is it the one with Gemma Chan? And omg Jacob Barber is in the Lodge? Shsjs he’s everywhere lmao but I get it he’s perfect for those genres lmao there’s something weird about him (or he plays it well i mean he’s probably not like that irl but idk i’ve never watched an interview i think). Seems interesting but also like it’s a bit more horror than thriller? And I have to be careful with horror bc then I have trouble sleeping for weeks to come shsjsjsj so lmk how scary it is bc it does seem interesting 👀👀👀

Chainsaw Man, is one the best anime I’ve ever watched
Here are the reasons why I put Chainsaw Man on my top list of favorite anime:
(p.s I used snippets from both Anime and Manga ver. so, bear with me)
Tumblr media
1. Concept
I like how despite it being ‘fantasy’, the way Fujimoto (the author) came up with the story makes it so much sense. The concept of devil as the manifestation of human fear is genius. The more humans fear this ‘something’, the stronger it will become as the devil. We as the audience, can make our own assumptions as to what kind of devil will be there later, which makes it more interesting. We might start to guess what kind of fear humans fear, and which might be the one we fear the most. (The Darkness Devil arc. Is especially so cool, it’s not yet animated tho)
Tumblr media
I like how Denji (the ML) is pictured as someone who has no fear left for the world as he’s been going through the worst possible situation (even already experienced death itself) so he becomes ‘the strongest’. And this ‘strength’ doesn’t mean physical or amazing power etc, but is actually his MINDSET.
As I watch the anime, it feels like a journey of reflection as well for me, because I realize myself as a human, that I have so much fear for anything in life. And it’s depicted here as the devils.
2. Characters
The characterizations are great. They all feel humane, which make most of them relatable. It also the reason why every each of them stands out on their own, because they have solid characters. By the way I said ‘solid’ means, they -also the side characters- have their own unique traits and consistent personality, so I’m able to distinguish each characters well.
I like how Fujimoto also focused on trying to deliver each character background story, so that we can empathize every one of them. To make the sense of why they behave or act in that way. It feels like everyone is equally important and not only serve as ‘additional’ character. They’re carefully and considerably put for the story progression.
I’ve read countless manga and watched some anime, and I think, I’m able to tell that the characters are created with too much 2D energy, which don’t act in a way that make sense at all. To the point that it just serve for entertainment, ONLY. Even the development of the characters feel forced and come out of nowhere. So I can say that Chainsaw Man characterizations are one of the best.
Denji
Man, he’s like a rare character among all the holiest protagonists, lol. He has many lacks, as a human, as he doesn’t grow up with a situation to be a normal human being. His few first lines in the anime make a deep impression, as he has conversations with Pochita about selling his organs to make a living. He said that as normal as breathing, which is tragic. He just dreams of eating bread with jam, because he eats ONLY bread every day, or even doesn’t eat at all. He’s been fooled by his employer, by giving him HIGH interest for his dad's debt, to the point that he would never be able to pay it back at all, yet he doesn’t really care. He just tries to survive. Which, happens to most of us, right?
It hits the most to me when he has a conversation with Aki, about the reason why Denji joins the public service devil hunter division, because he just want to date Makima. On the other side, Aki, has revenge in mind, to be able to fight Gun Devil. So Aki thought that Denji’s purpose was shallow and insignificant. This conversation later strikes Denji when he fights that worm-like devil, saying ‘What with this dream comparison? I don’t care with y’all so called big dream. My dream is just to be able to eat delicious food and date a woman’ (I forget the exact line, but that’s quite the point). Like, yeah, sometimes we have so much to say about other’s life, when in reality, every one of us experiences different starting points and environments.
Tumblr media
One of my favorite scenes is the Infinite Devil arc, when they are in an apartment. Denji is so crazy cool there. Like no one dares to fight the devil because of their fear, yet Denji, with his immortal capability and no-fear mentality, is eventually able to fight it.
Tumblr media
3. The comical, dark comedy
I like some dark jokes that are put into the story, which may be a bit sensitive but is great. The way Denji desires woman and physical affection because he doesn’t have 'big' dream, and Power with her human suffering agenda and dream to become a Nobel prize winner, teammates that want to kill each other because they just care about their own lives (I mean, of course). Also Kobeni, despite her image as a coward and ‘weak’ character, has no choice but to join devil hunter because she’s forced by her family to earn money either by working as a prostitute (something that Power laughs her ass off).
Tumblr media
Many comedic lines are served but is actually ironic at the same time.
4. Story progression
It doesn’t feel fast, or too dragging. Even the mundane-daily-life of Aki scenes put significant meaning to highlight his personality (not only as fillers).
youtube
This anime, even if it seems unserious because of its dark comedy energy, has some depth in it. I feel like almost all scenes are well put together and delivered effectively. I don’t feel bored and anticipate much in every ending of the episode. Some subtle scenes show much about the character’s personality, as well as build the main plot of the story.
5. Message of the story
I believe that every story has its own purpose made by the author. There are possibly ones that are purposely made for fun, to entertain the audience. But personally, I like stories that don’t only give me fantasy that is beyond imagination, but also grounded feeling of something relatable.
I found some messages from this story, like what I already said before about Denji's characterization. He’s not a perfect main protagonist and has many things that are lacking in how our society may construct a normal personal look. Many may feel disgusted as it seems that his purpose is so shallow and gross. But you know what? Despite his craving for women's touch and not learning basic etiquette, he never crosses the line and always asks for other’s consent. It strikes me that it doesn’t matter how educated we claim ourselves with, but manner is something that comes from within.
I really like when Denji has a self-conversation when he wonders whether he might feel sad about his teammate's death in the future (after witnessing Aki’s mourn for Himeno). He has self-awareness for it. Human, anyway, is also struggling to recognize their own feelings these days. So, it feels close to home.
Denji’s realization about achieving his goal, and later doesn’t feel anything about it. DANG, that is so spot on. After able to touch Power’s b**bs, which he thought would be amazing or something, later in shock as he doesn’t know how to respond to it once it happens. Just like how we might be enthusiast on working toward our goals, but in the end, it may feel not that great. The process is. The process toward it is what worth striving for.
And many more.
THIS, is really subjective. Creative works (I think) are very personal, that many people may experience it differently. I also read some of the reviews, and many also said Chainsaw Man is meh, and many more said that this is a masterpiece. I think the one that relates to us the most might be the best. It’s just natural excitement or curiosity, you know, when you find out a story that you’re really interested in. Chainsaw Man, is one that I’ve never had any expectation of, yet, it gives a satisfying experience (mind you, I’ve rewatched it for some time and lurk in some story analysis. It’s really fun for me).
That’s it! Thank you for sparing time to read this whole dump of thoughts from mine 😊

Genres : Romance , Emotional, Modern AU
Rating: K+

(Note : in case you don't like it , don't make any hateful or bashing comments or even message me, expressing hate. Instead feel free to get out).
When she woke up in the morning , Probus felt like her chest was burning. But the most surprising thing was that the pain wasn't because of an illness or negative emotions. It was because the feeling of love  was strong inside her, since yesterday.
She couldn't get the handsome and kind man she met yesterday , out of her mind , no matter how hard she tried . And it was clear, that she started having feelings for him, just like how he started having for her.
Even while she was doing the housework, Probus couldn't stop thinking about Aurelian and the way he behaved towards her. She wanted to meet him once again and know him better.
While she was doing the chores around the mansion, her head was still on the clouds , as she was thinking about the last day's event that would change her life forever. She had to concentrate on her work, so she would have time for herself.
After finishing her work, Probus went to her room and changed on her white dress. Without wasting time she went downstairs and left the villa, without forgetting to take the keys and put them in her dress' pocket.
She started walking and admiring the nature around. Some time later her legs started aching and she sat nearby a fountain to relax.
She was admiring her reflection in the crystal clear water, when suddenly she noticed, someone else's shadow behind her. Probus stood up and turned around. With a great surprise , she saw Aurelian smiling at her brightly.
"Greetings my lady".
"Good day to you as well my knight".
"Everything looks beautiful here".
"Yes , it's a beautiful place indeed".
"Not as beautiful as you , of course".
As the hours were passing the couple started realising, that they had both fallen in love with eachother and that fate brought them together.
A feeling of grief filled the woman's eyes and she desperately wanted to tell how she felt.
"Promise that you won't get angry or laugh, after you hear what i'll tell you".
"Of course, feel free to tell me whatever you think".
After taking a deep breath, Probus started sharing her story, as it really was and not how she wanted it to be :
"The truth is that I am not someone who has lots of money. I work as a maid for three years in a mansion, but my boss is very cruel with me.He treats me more like an object than a human being and punishes me harshly, whenever I do something wrong. Now the dress which I wear was a gift from my mother before she and my father passed away".
This small speech made Aurelian feel sad for Probus. His heart couldn't take it, how such a lovely woman was treated like that.
"You don't deserve such treatment. I won't treat you like that, I can't do it. It is because I love you and I mean it. I lost my parents in a very young age, so I know very well, how this feels".
These words touched the girls heart and for the first time in her life, someone felt sympathy for her and understood her, instead of telling her that she is overly dramatic and that she puts it all out of her mind.
In fact there were three more people that believed her until now and it was no one else than her tutor and her tutor's two daughters.
As the hours passed, the two lovebirds were learning more about one another. They even realised that they had things in common.
Both parts have lost their parents while they were still teenagers and it was thanks to their strong mental health, that they didn't give up yet.
The two of them had such a good time together, that they nearly didn't realize it started getting dark.
Few minutes later, he asked her:
"Would you like to come and stay with me?"
The question surprised her greatly and she responded to him:
"Of course my dear. But my boss will be angry if he learns that i'm not in the mansion. He will be back from his trip in two months".
"Don't be afraid. I'll take care of it and you won't live in that golden cage anymore. I'll make you happy".
"Thank you so much, for the nice gesture. Though I want to go for a last time to the mansion to take my things and then we leave immediately".
Soon after that, Probus showed Aurelian the way to the mansion and after helping her , pack her things they escaped without anyone noticing them.
The young lady couldn't believe , that this exact moment  would be the start of her freedom.
She didn't feel like a bird in its cage anymore. From now on she was ready to take her destiny in her own hands and not letting anyone else besides her to control it.
The couple finally arrived to the boy's home. It wasn't that big or luxurious. It was simple but still lovely.
By the time the two of them entered the house, Aurelian made sure that Probus would feel like she was in her  home. He didn't want her to feel like a stranger or an unwanted visitor.
He helped her tidy her things and after that they put more comfortable clothes and went to sleep in the bedroom, which originally belonged to the young man's parents.
By the time , the young woman layed  on the bed she immediately felt how soft and comfortable it was. While she was working in the mansion as a servant , she was sleeping on a bed that looked almost like it was going to be destroyed at any time. This had as a result, to make her feel very uncomfortable and she couldn't  sleep well at all.
Her master didn't  even bother to call someone to repair it or even go and buy a new one. Instead he preferred to spend his money on riduculously expensive things,  while he was displaying his wealth in a narcissistic  and delusional state that not even himself was aware of.
After  exchanging  "Good Night" with one another , they fell asleep next to eachother. Aurelian leaned his arm protectively towards Probus, making her feel safe and loved at the same time.
She wasn't afraid anymore, because now she was with someone that she could trust and that wouldn't even dare to cut her wings off.
To be continued...

see you around- j.jh
Tumblr media
Inspired by @writing-prompt-s: You're immortal and have passed the 'hero' phase centuries ago. You enter a small corner shop one day to find it is owned by your millennia-old arch-nemesis. You really, really need milk though.
I tweaked the prompt a little bit :)
Summary: You were once part of the world’s most renowned superhero organization, NCTsuper. Now centuries later, you’re still alive and you don’t know where anyone else is or if they are immortal like you too. The last person you expected to see after all these centuries was a member of NCTSuper, nonetheless your biggest rival within the organization. You really don’t want to talk to him, but you really need that milk.
Genre: enemies to lovers except it's more like one-sided enemies at this point, fluff, angst, attempts at comedy, set in the future, slight fantasy aspect
Warnings: mention of weapons, y/n and jaehyun can be kind of annoying at times, one fight scene with bullets, implied death of three minor characters, and bad grammar? grammarly and my brain can only help me so much T^T. mentions of suggestive activities but no actual suggestive activities,i’m bad at coming up with superhero names (let me know if i missed any)
Pairing:  jaehyun x reader(gender not specified).
Other idols: taeyong, mark, doyoung, seulgi, and yuta are mentioned like very briefly! Not paired with y/n just like other characters
Word Count: 6,995
A/N: Hey the long awaited fic is here lol. tbh idk what i’m doing so i apologize in advance if this is bad hehe. hope you enjoy :)
Disclaimer: I am in no way claiming this is how these celebrities mentioned in my story behave in real life. This story is all fiction.
This is also my original work minus the prompt so please don’t copy or repost (reblogging is fine<3 )
“Yo! Y/N! We ran out of milk!” Your roommate shouted from the kitchen. Your eyes drifted from your computer screen to the door of your room. You paused your drama and walked to the kitchen.
“Why does it matter? We are lactose intolerant anyway,” You sighed as you scanned the fridge for the carton of milk you bought three days ago.
“Yeah I know but I want to bake these cookies for Mark! And the recipe I’m using calls for milk!”
“Oh my god, Veronica,” you surveyed the mess of baking ingredients on the kitchen island. “Why didn’t you check for all the ingredients before you started making the cookies?”
“I know, I know I know! I’m sorry, but can you please go and buy some milk? Pretty pretty, please? You can have 2 of the cookies I bake?” Veronica begged with her best puppy dog eyes.
“Three cookies or no deal,” you bargained as you walked towards your room.
“Okay fine!” Veronica agreed.
“You are lucky that I was planning to go outside anyway,” you called back.
“Omg, thank you so much! Love ya!”
You tucked your phone into your pocket and grabbed your wallet and keys from the stand.
“Can you also buy some gummies?” Veronica asked
“No,” you replied as you shut the door.
Ugh, I can’t believe that decades ago I used to be part of the world’s most renowned superhero organization. Now, I’m helping my roommate run errands. Times really do change.
Here’s the thing, you are immortal or that’s the only conclusion you can draw. Strange right? It’s too confusing to explain, so you refrain from telling people. All you know is that as time passes your loved ones pass along with it, yet you still remain and never age. Being immortal does have some perks to it: you don’t have to worry about running out of time and getting gray hairs. You can also live to see all of humanity’s amazing achievements from sliced bread to smartphones and the more recent flying cars.
Your time under NCTsuper was one you’ll never forget. You were on a task force with people from all over the world. There was a division of NCTsuper all around the world: Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, Canada, United States just to name a few. Together you helped fight crime in your respective cities. Your superhero name was Butterfly, due to the butterfly tattoo on your wrist that you derived your powers from. It used to glow, but after you lost your powers it was like any other tattoo. Eventually, the world stopped accepting superheroes, and NCTsuper died out. You were never able to maintain contact with any of the members.
You exited your apartment and walked downtown. You heard of this new store opening within walking distance of your apartment. This is great because even though you are immortal and have all the time in the world, you still have zero clue how to drive a car. Luckily for you, Veronica can drive. But now that there is a store close to you, you don’t need to hail a cab or wait for the bus to get your groceries.
You stood in front of the store. It was much smaller than you expected it to be. You opened the door and felt the cool breeze from the air conditioning hit your bare arms. You shivered a bit as you entered the store and picked up a basket. You walked to the milk section and picked out a carton of milk. You walked around the store and bought a couple of other groceries. You walked into the candy section and picked up a bag of gummy bears. You started to feel the weight of the basket on your arms and decided that it was time to pay. You walked up to the cash register and made eye contact with the cashier.
“You have got to be kidding me,” you huffed.
“Y/N?” he stared at you with equal shock.
“I told you not to call me by my real name, Lightning.”
“Sorry my bad Rollerblades,” he smiled at you with the smile you wished you would never have to see again.
“Oh my god, that was one time-how do you still remember i-” you gritted your teeth.
“Of course, I remember the one time you put on the wrong shoes and ended up wearing rollerblades. Then, you crashed into the formula we were going to protect and burned yourself in the process! How could I forget!” he laughed, his dimples showing.
“It's been centuries, and you still can’t drop that nickname?” you rolled your eyes as you loaded your groceries onto the conveyor belt.
He chuckled, “It was hilarious seeing you get yelled at by Doyoung. Plus, it still has a nice ring to it.”
“Why can’t you just call me by my hero name? It’s there for a reason.”
“You are my favorite rival, I can’t just call you by your hero name, that's so dull.”
“Oh wow, you’re ranking your rivals now?” You scoffed.
“You know you are my number one!” he blew a kiss in your direction.
“Oh my god,” you rolled your eyes “What are you doing here? How-How are you still alive?”
“I could ask the same to you.” He laughed as he scanned your items.
“Just. Answer. The. Damn. Question.” you said through gritted teeth as you grabbed your card from your wallet.
“Still as feisty as ever I see. But to answer your question, I own this shop. I moved here last week. As to why I’m still alive? Uhhh I didn’t die?”
“Hahaha so funny, I’m sooo glad you kept your humor throughout these years,” you remarked.
He laughed, “So what about you, what are you doing here? And ‘why are you still alive?’”
“I live here, and I don’t know why I’m still alive. I guess it’s the same answer as yours ‘I didn’t die.’ I guess I’m immortal or whatever.” you answered as you scanned your card.
“That makes two of us,” he smiled at you.
Why is he always smiling? When you used to be under the same organization, you were both rivals. You don’t know quite how it started. All you remember is that the two of you always clashed heads. Ever since you first met him when he transferred from Korea to the United States branch. He always tried to one-up and teased you any chance he got. Due to this, you guys have this mutual rivalry and hatred towards one another.
“That’ll be ninety dollars,” He said as you snapped out of your thoughts.
“Oh wow, not only did you try to sabotage my mission by popping my tires, but you also overprice your goods,” you scoffed.
“Hey, a man’s gotta make a living,” he held his hands up in defense. You rolled your eyes and loaded up your groceries. You threw the bags over your shoulders and pushed open the door.
“I hope to run into you again Y/N,” he waved you goodbye.
“Not a chance, Jaehyun,” you called back as you left the store.
You can’t believe it. There is no way Jaehyun is still alive. How is he alive? Does that mean other people from NCTsuper are still around? Does Jaehyun still have his powers? How come you are still alive? Does that mean all the villains you fought are also alive? These thoughts and many others race your mind as you opened the door to your apartment.
“Omg, you are back!” Veronica exclaimed. You handed the milk to her in a daze.
“Omg than-” You shoved the packet of gummy bears into her hands. “Oh my gosh, I thought you weren’t going to buy them! Thank you so much!” Veronica’s smile widened.
You don’t hear Veronica as you mindlessly walked to your room. You sat down on your floor without changing into your pajamas. There is no way that was Jaehyun. You leaned your head on your bed. “Agh, I have to be going insane.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You didn’t see Jaehyun for the next three weeks and managed to convince yourself that the whole experience was a fever dream. Even though you did eat three of the cookies Veronica made with the milk you brought. After that interaction, your life stayed pretty much the same. You woke up, went to work, ate, slept, and repeated.
One day, your boss let you and your colleagues leave work early in the afternoon. Due to the fact that the company you worked for was going under some renovations. You missed your daily morning coffee since you were in a rush. You decided to stop by the cafe on the next block for your much-needed caffeine. You weren’t paying attention as you opened the door to the cafe and collided with someone’s chest. A string of apologies fell out of your mouth as you tried to squeeze past the person you bumped into. You soon realized that they weren’t moving. You decided to look up and see who it was.
Wrong move.
“I knew that I would run into you again, Y/N. Although, I did not expect it to be literally,” Jaehyun chuckled.
“Oh my god, not you again,” You groaned as you tried to squeeze past the gap between Jaehyun’s arm and the door frame. But unfortunately, he caught you.
You quickly detached yourself from him, “what do you want Jaehyun?”
“Hmmm, money, world peace, unlimited pieces of vinyl, free coffee for the rest of my life, one of those flying cars! Oh, and you,” Jaehyun jokingly winked.
“Oh my god-”
“Is that the only phrase you know? You have said that twice already,” Jaehyun chuckled.
You rolled your eyes, “Please move. I need my coffee, and I have no patience for you today. I was convinced you were not real, but I guess I was proven wrong.”
Jaehyun would not leave you alone, so that’s how you found yourself sitting at the window seat of the cafe sipping on your coffee.
“Have you tried contacting Doyoung? Or Taeyong?” Taeyong and Doyoung were the leaders of NCTSuper. They were the ones in charge of everything: what weapons you used, who you went with, which missions you went on. You were closer to the former than the latter because Taeyong did more fighting than Doyoung did.
“I have, but I can’t find anything on them. Or NCTsuper for that matter,” Jaehyun answered as he took a sip of his ice americano.
“Hmm, that’s odd. Is it only us then?”
“Probably,” Jaehyun answered mid-bite into his pastry.
“Do you still have any of the numbers of anyone from NCTsuper?” You asked before biting into your cake.
“Yea, but like I said before, no one picks up. It could be due to how phones back then were different than the ones now.” Jaehyun answered
You nodded in agreement. “Jaehyun? Do you still have your powers?”
Jaehyun turned his head to reveal his dull lightning tattoo behind his ear, “nope. They’re all gone.”
“Same.” You showed him the tattoo on your wrist. He nodded.
A silence fell over the two of you. The only thing you could hear was the soft jazz music playing on the cafe’s speakers. As well as, the sounds of indistinct chatter from other cafe goers. You looked at the window and saw that the sky that was once a light blue is now a dark blue, almost black.
You let your thoughts ruminate and it seemed that Jaehyun was doing the same. Your eyes landed on the table next to yours. The young girl was sitting with someone who seemed like her boyfriend. She was drinking a pink liquid. That’s when it hit you.
You didn’t know it at that time but it was your second to last mission. You and Jaehyun were paired together.
“Doyoung! Why do I have to be paired with Jaehyun? You know we don’t get along. You should have paired him with Seulgi. They have similar powers and they get along. I don’t like Jaehyun and we clash all the time. I can’t work well with him.” You huffed into your mic.
“I can hear you,” Jaehyun complained.
“We went over this! Only you and Jaehyun can deliver this potion. If Seulgi and Jaehyun went together and they needed to use their powers it would impact the potion negatively. Just bare with each other.” Doyoung sighed into both of your earpieces.
“Fine,” you relented. Jaehyun parked the car in the back of the alley. You guys got out. The minute you set foot on the pavement the hairs on the back of your neck stood up. Something felt off, but you weren’t sure what. It was in the early hours of the morning, and it was hard to make out your surroundings. The only light you guys had was the moonlight. You walked behind Jaehyun as he led the two of you into the warehouse. The mission was to meet up with Exoplanet, another superhero organization, and bring the potion to them. The potion was two vials filled with a pink odorless liquid. Doyoung told you guys that this potion belonged to the Moonlights, a villain organization, who were going to use the potion to go through with their plan. To this day you still have no clue what the Moonlights’ plan was. You stuck close to Jaehyun as you entered the warehouse. The feeling that something was off was pooling in your stomach; you tightened your hold on your gun. After all, your powers could only help you so much.
“Lighting and Butterfly,” A voice sounded behind you.
You and Jaehyun turned around and were face to face with three of the members of Exoplanet.
“You have the vials right?”
You and Jaehyun nodded; the both of you reached into your jackets for the vials. The feeling in your gut only increased. You were about to hand the vials over when something moved in the corner of your eyes.
“Jaehyun duck,” you whispered.
“What? Why should I duck?” he answered.
“Just do it, something’s up,” you whispered back.
“You’re overthinking, don’t worry about it,” Jaehyun dismissed.
You saw something flash in the corner of your vision, “JAEHYUN DUCK NOW!” before he could retort you pulled him down by his arm, just as a bullet flew past your heads. It would have hit Jaehyun square in the head if he was still standing. You tuck the vial back into your jacket and drag Jaehyun to a place to hide.
“What is going on?” Jaehyun breathed.
“I don’t know, ask Doyoung!” you gritted your teeth.
“Doyoung? What's going on?” Jaehyun growled into his earpiece.
“Doyoung...Doyoung…” you tapped on your earpiece. No response.
Another bullet flew over your heads, you crouched lower and took your gun out.
“There’s no time to wait for Doyoung, turn your earpiece on so Doyoung can hear what we hear!” Jaehyun ordered. You nodded and looked up and saw that the members of Exoplanet were nowhere to be found. You looked around some more and saw that the three members of Exoplanet were lying on the ground unmoving with bullet wounds. “Jaehyun look,” you gestured to where the members of Exoplanet were. Jaehyun’s eyes widened. The two of you slowly emerged from your hiding space.
“Can you guys hear me?” Doyoung spoke into your earpieces.
“Yes,” you responded.
“It seems that Moonlight learned about Exoplanets' attempt to get the potions. You need to get out of there now.” Doyoung informed.
“Well, what do you think we’re trying to do,” Jaehyun rolled his eyes.
You were about to say something when three people emerged from behind you. Before they could do anything, you used your powers to remove the weapons from their bodies.
Everything happened in a flash, people were emerging from everywhere. You and Jaehyun were only two people. Your power was only able to take care of three people at a time. Jaehyun’s power too but you were way too outnumbered.
The both of you were surrounded. “Drink it!” Doyoung’s voice broke in through your earpieces
“What?” You asked while kicking someone’s stomach.
“Just drink it!” Doyoung ordered.
You and Jaehyun made eye contact.
“Why? We don’t know what’s in it!” Jaehyun exclaimed while blocking someone with the butt of his gun.
“Dr-...Drink i...Drink it…” Doyoung’s voice through the earpiece was breaking out. You both heard loud feedback and the line was dead.
“Agh...Doyoung? Doyoung? There’s no response!” You screamed at Jaehyun who was on the other side of the warehouse.
“Just drink it!” Jaehyun shouted back while you saw him already open the vial. He was able to create a shield around him so no one could take his vial.
You followed suit. You managed to push everyone around you away which gave you enough time to time drink the potion.
Everything after that was a blur. Before you knew it, you and Jaehyun were back at headquarters. Your head felt light and heavy at the same time when you opened your eyes.
Jaehyun’s eyes followed your gaze toward the next table's pink liquid. “Jaehyun! Is it because we drank the that pink liquid meant for Exoplanet?!” You exclaimed.
Jaehyun’s eyes widened in realization, “are you saying that pink liquid is what made us immortal?”
“I’m guessing that’s why? Unless you can think of anything else?”
“No. No, what you said makes sense.”
You stared at each other in silence.
“I guess that means everyone else is gone.” Jaehyun breathed.
“Oh my god..” your eyes glossed over with tears.
“You can cry it’s okay, I’ll shield you if you don’t want people seeing,” Jaehyun offered.
You looked at Jaehyun and saw a sad expression that mirrored yours.
You didn’t realize you were crying until you heard splashes coming from your coffee. You wiped your tears away. Jaehyun reached over the table and handed you some napkins. “It’s okay… I’m okay… thanks.” You took the tissues from Jaehyun’s hand. “I have thought about it before that I was the only one left, but it’s…”
“Different now that we have a potential reason,” Jaehyun finished.
“Yea,” you sniffled. “But I am glad… that you are still here… it would be extremely lonely if I was the only one left. At least, now I know that there is someone else who has been through what I have.”
Jaehyun smiled, “I’m glad too.”
You called a taxi home that night. You won’t lie; You felt a weight lifted off your shoulders. You now have the closest thing to an idea of why you were still around. You spent the rest of the night mourning for your lost friends.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You felt the sunlight on your eyes before you heard the blare of your alarm. You hit snooze and crawled out of bed. You had a pounding headache from crying all night. You slowly crawled out of bed and stumbled into the kitchen.
“Morning!” Veronica greeted, “Is everything alright? You came home crying last night.”
You looked up and saw the concern in Veronica’s eyes.
“No, yeah, I’m fine… ha ha… it’s nothing. just a...rough day at work...but I’m...uh good now,”
“Okay, well…” Veronica still looked unsure before continuing, “Mark and I are going on a date tonight so just cook for yourself.”
You hummed in acknowledgment as you cooked yourself some eggs, “Have fun on your date!”
“I will,” Veronica called back as she left for work.
You heaved a sigh, “what do I do now?”
At that moment, your phone dinged with a notification. You turned your head and saw an unknown phone number on your screen.
+1-214-097-1270: Hey Rollerblades
You: jaehyun?

+1-214-097-1270: You know I can see the read receipts right?
+1-214-097-1270: Hello?
You put your phone face down on your nightstand and collapsed onto the bed. You were not in a mood to deal with anything. Everything felt so surreal. The new information you found out last night still didn't feel right, but it’s the only reason you have. If you and Jaehyun are the last people of NCTSuper around and the only people who are “immortal”, it would be smart to get along. Right? You decided to sleep on that train of thought. Hopefully, more sleep will chase the pounding headache away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two weeks have passed. You have finally been able to come to terms with the fact that you and Jaehyun are the only ones left of NCTSuper. You decided that you might as well take Jaehyun up on his offer. If the both of you will live forever, might as well try and get along with him
You: ughhh fine.
You: i’ll take you up on your offer
You: where do you want to meet up?
The reply comes almost immediately.
+1-214-097-1270: I KNEW IT! You did not block me
You: i think i just barfed in my mouth
You: pls never ever refer to yourself as a “ladies’ man”
You: i actually take back what i said. you are too annoying
+1-214-097-1270: Okay fine my bad my bad
+1-214-097-1270: I get it your jealous
+1-214-097-1270: Not everyone can have as much game as me
You: 😑😑😑
You: yea sure... not because you flirted with anything that moved🙄
+1-214-097-1270: Rude
+1-214-097-1270: Anyways… let’s meet up at the ramen shop around the corner from my store
+1-214-097-1270: Does Friday work for you?
You: yea sure
+1-214-097-1270: Okay, see you then
You: Liked “Okay, see you then”
~
Friday came sooner than you expected. You and Jaehyun decided to meet at 7.
“Are you finally going on a date? It’s about time Y/N,” Veronica said as she walked into your room.
“It’s not a date Veronica,” You said while fixing your hair.
“The way you keep fixing your hair tells me otherwise,” Veronica giggled as she took a seat on your bed. “Your outfit looks great by the way.”
“Thanks and I’m just meeting up with an old…friend.”
“Okay… sure your ‘friend.’ Let’s hope he becomes your BOYfriend,”
“How did you know my old friend would be a guy?” You raised your eyebrows as you put on your earrings.
“Just best friend senses.”
“Sureeee,” You fixed your hair one last time. “Okay, I’m ready to go!”
“You look great,” Veronica smiled.
“Thanks,” you gathered your stuff and left the apartment. Your walk to the ramen shop was a quiet and relaxing one. You arrived in front of the ramen shop shortly after.
The restaurant was a cozy one. The tables were all filled, but the restaurant still managed not to feel too packed. You saw Jaehyun sitting at a table in the corner of the restaurant.
“Hey,” You greeted.
“Oh Y/N! I was really thinking you weren’t going to show up,” Jaehyun chuckled.
“Hey! I wasn’t that late,” You rolled your eyes.
“Yea, I probably got here too early,” Jaehyun muttered.
“Huh?” You questioned while looking at the menu.
“Nothing,” Jaehyun said while he picked up a menu.
You spent your evening eating ramen and talking with Jaehyun. Surprisingly, Jaehyun isn’t all that annoying to be around. Though, there still was the occasional banter. You will never admit it to Jaehyun, but you had fun that night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The following weeks carried on more or less the same; instead, now you had the addition of going out to eat dinner or lunch with Jaehyun. You’ve managed to start anew with Jaehyun. And to your surprise, you and he make pretty good friends.
“Are you going on yet another date with Mr. Mystery Boy?” Veronica asked.
“It’s not a date” you deadpanned. That’s what you keep telling yourself.
“I’m starting to think you spend more time with him than me! Your roommate!” Veronica dramatically collapsed on your bed.
“What are you talking about? I live with you,” You rolled your eyes as you put on your earrings (the butterfly ones you went to the mall with Jaehyun to buy).
“Ugh, stop lying! I can hear you giggling at your phone every time I pass your room-”
“Who said I was laughing at what he said?” You were definitely laughing at something Jaehyun sent you. Because let’s be real, who else would text you besides Jaehyun and Veronica?
“And I can’t forget that I can hear a man’s voice coming from your room at midnight! And we both know it's not from a booty call!”
Ah yes, the midnight FaceTime calls with Jaehyun. But those are strictly platonic! You are just getting to know Jaehyun beyond the annoying and competitive coworker you had 100s of years ago. Right?
Right.
“Ugh, plus I have never even met this man before! When am I going to see him? I introduced you to Mark after a week of knowing him! You’ve known this mystery dude for like months already!” Veronica threw her arms up in the air for dramatic flair.
“Okay, yea but you liked Mark at the time. He wasn’t just your friend!” You retorted back as you fixed your hair. “I don’t like this guy.”
“Can you at least tell me his name?” Veronica asked.
“Oh yea, it’s Jaehyun. Oops, I forgot to tell you.” You laughed.
~
Unlike you, Jaehyun learned how to drive. He picked you up outside your apartment.
“Jae, you did not tell me where we are going tonight?” You asked as you stepped into the car.
“Well, yea it’s a surprise!” Jaehyun rolled his eyes as he turned on the music.
As the music filled the speakers your eyes widened, “No way you still listen to Chet Baker?!”
“Huh? Oh yeah, his music is still great even after all this time,” Jaehyun said as he turned the volume higher.
Jaehyun ended up taking you to an open field.
“Darn, I knew it was too good to be true. I guess today is the day you finally kill me, “ You dramatically sighed.
“I’m not going to kill you, Y/N,” Jaehyun deadpanned as he opened the trunk.
“That’s what they all say,” You called back as you exited his car. You see Jaehyun carrying a brown basket and holding a rolled-up blanket under his arm.
“I’m here to take you out on a picnic! The weather is perfect! Look, the sun is still out,” Jaehyun gestured towards the sun.
Jaehyun was right, the weather was nice. You felt the warm heat on your neck as you followed Jaehyun into the field. You watched as he set up the picnic blanket. He patted the spot next to him when he finished setting up.
“I hope you still like Mars Bars,” Jaehyun said as he started to unload the basket. There were also sandwiches, fried chicken, fruit salads, french fries, ramen, brownies, and soda.
“Yea, I still love Mars Bars. I’ve been looking for them everywhere! How did you know I liked them?” You asked as you grabbed one of the Mars Bars.
“I remembered you would always eat one before our meetings,” Jaehyun said as he took a bite of the sandwich he packed.
“Oh, you noticed?” You raised your eyebrow.
“Well, yeah. I’ve always been paying attention to you Y/N,” Jaehyun smiled.
Huh? You cleared your throat and grabbed the nearest thing to eat, which was fried chicken, and took a bite.
Jaehyun let out a chuckle and continued to eat. You glared at him before finishing your chicken.
You two spent the rest of the afternoon eating and sharing stories.
“There is no way you were that dumb-”
“Hey! I was young and in love! Don’t tell me you wouldn’t serenade your lover,”
“I would serenade them, but not on a ladder! And I would definitely not fall off of it, “ you laughed.
“You may say it was dumb but she loved it so, ha!” Jaehyun stuck his tongue out.
“Yea, well I also didn’t break my arm because of it!” You jabbed your finger at his forehead.
“Ow!” Jaehyun rubbed his forehead. “In my defense, this was the 80s and I was also carrying a boombox, so my balance wasn’t the greatest!”
You laughed even harder, “Boombox? While standing on a ladder?”
“Okay, yea I know it sounds stupid now, but that is also because it’s like 2050.”
“Well, I’m glad one of us used their immortality to live an…eventful life." You took a bite of the ramen you were sharing with Jaehyun.
“Hey, if you are gonna laugh at me you do not get to eat the ramen!” Jaehyun tried to grab the ramen cup from you.
“No!” You whined while you got up and tried to move away from him. You drank some of the broth to avoid spilling it all over yourself while you ran away from Jaehyun.
Eventually, Jaehyun caught up to you. He wrapped his arm around your waist and in your brief moment of shock, he managed to pry the ramen away from your hands.
“Hey, give me my ramen back!” You screamed while running after him.
You spent the rest of the afternoon under the bright sun eating all the goods that Jaehyun brought.
~
“Hey, it’s getting dark. We should head home,” Jaehyun said as he packed up the picnic blanket.
You got up and watched Jaehyun as he packed everything up. He gave you a dimpled smile when your eyes met. You quickly looked away trying to hide your red flushed cheeks (it didn’t work. Jaehyun saw you).
“Hey Jae, thank you so much! I had so much fun today,” You said while unbuckling your seatbelt.
“Yeah, no problem. Oh before you go,” Jaehyun turned around and grabbed something from the back seat.
“Mars Bars?” Your eyes widened as he placed the entire box into your hands.
“You can take all the Mars Bars,” Jaehyun's eyes crinkled in a smile.
You couldn’t contain your joy and thanked him before heading up to your apartment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If one hundred years ago someone told you that you would be spending your birthday with Jaehyun, you would have written that person off as insane. Yet that is exactly what you are doing. You are turning God knows how old, but to your friends, you are turning 24. How exciting! With how long you have been on Earth, the idea of birthdays isn’t appealing anymore. But you still played along because everyone else seemed to love celebrating birthdays.
You are currently standing in front of your mirror picking an outfit for your small birthday dinner. The only people you invited were Veronica, Mark, and Jaehyun. You heard a knock on your door before Veronica popped her head in.
“Hey, you ready? You are 24 now! Oh my god, this is so exciting!”
“Veronica, it’s not that big of a deal,” You rolled your eyes as you adjusted the hair out of your face. “Okay, I’m ready!”
“Great, I started the car and Mark said he will meet us there,” Veronica said as she locked the door.
You climbed into her car and made your way over to the restaurant. You decided to eat at a high-end Japanese restaurant. When you arrived at your table Mark was already there.
“Happy Birthday Y/N!” He said as he leaned in for a hug.
“Thanks,” you smiled as you hugged him back. You took a seat across from Mark who sat next to Veronica.
“We are just waiting for one more person,” You announced as you started to look at the menu.
“Oh, who are we waiting for?” Mark asked as he picked up a menu.
“We are waiting for-”
“Her boyfriend!” Veronica cut you off.
You narrowed your eyes at Veronica before returning your gaze to Mark, “He’s not my boyfriend. We are just friends.”
“Haha, not dating yet!” Veronica smirked.
Before you could fire back, you felt someone slip into the chair next to you.
“Hey everyone, sorry I am late. The traffic was much worse than I expected. I am Jaehyun by the way, Y/N’s friend.” Jaehyun smiled. He exchanged greetings with the other people at the table before his gaze shifted to yours. “Happy Birthday Y/N.”
You quickly thanked him and reverted your gaze to the menu.
Surprisingly, Jaehyun got along well with Veronica and Mark. You were busy shoveling down your fifth sushi roll when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned your head around.
“Hey, can you step outside with me for a minute? I need to give you your present,” Jaehyun whispered.
“Wait, you can give it to me now and I’ll open it at home,” You suggested.
“No, I want to see you when you open it,” Jaehyun said while standing up. You eyed him weirdly.
“I’m going to step out for a bit,” Jaehyun told your table before he got up.
You watched him as he walked towards the exit, “I’m going to step out too.”
Veronica raised her eyebrows at you and smirked.
“Oh my god, Veronica shush!” You rolled your eyes as you pushed your chair in.
“Hey, I didn’t even say anything,” Veronica laughed.
You weaved your way through the various tables and crowds until you reached the exit.
“Jaehyun, what is it?” You asked as you closed the restaurant’s entrance behind you.
“I just wanted to give you your birthday gift!” Jaehyun said as he fished a box from out his pocket.
“Jaehyun? You could have just given this to me inside,” You looked up at him as he placed the box in your hand.
“Yeah, but um… I also wanted to ask you a question.” Jaehyun shifted as he put his hands in his pockets, "but first please open your gift!”
Your fingers lifted open the delicate lid. Behind the lid sat a blue and black jeweled butterfly pendant.
“I’d thought I'd buy you a butterfly necklace to match the butterfly earrings,” Jaehyun mumbled.
“Thanks, I love it,” You smiled while you began to unclasp it.
“Wait! Let me help you put it on,” Jaehyun grabbed the necklace from your fingers.
You smiled softly while Jaehyun put the necklace on for you. You felt the breeze on your neck as Jaehyun placed the necklace around you. But the breeze was not the cause of the shiver you felt run down your spine.
“Okay! All set,” Jaehyun awkwardly clapped his hands together and stepped back.
Your cheeks flushed at the sudden contact from him but you managed out a small “thanks.”
“No problem,” Jaehyun chuckled.
“So is this all you called me out for? Because if so I kinda wanna go back inside. My sashimi platter is calling my name and I simply can not ignore it.”
“I-uh… that is not all. I have uh one more question,” Jaehyun answered as his gaze shifted to his shoes.
“Uh cool. What is it?” You tried to make eye contact with him, but he kept avoiding your stare.
“Well, um… I’ve been wanting to uhm ask you this but uhm the Yuta thing happened and I uh…” Jaehyun stuttered out.
“Spit it out bro. What is it?” You asked tapping your foot jokingly.
“I uh...I like you. I was uhm…wondering if you want to uhm date?” Jaehyun lifted his gaze to meet yours. This time it was you avoiding eye contact.
“Date?” You raised your eyebrows.
“I mean uhm… I kind of always liked you. I thought that you were very cute. I only teased you because you didn’t seem to want to talk to me uhm regularly.” Jaehyun sheepishly smiled.
“Wait. You liked me this whole time?” You asked your eyes popping out of your eye sockets.
“Uhm…yeah. Hehe,” Jaehyun’s gaze shifted from your eyes to the ground.
“I mean-”
“If you uhm want to reject me. You can just do it. You don’t uh have to feel bad,” Jaehyun muttered.
You chuckled before you responded, “I was going to say that I also thought you were cute too.”
“Huh?” Jaehyun’s head snapped up at that.
You had a big smile on your face as you said the next words, “I’d love to date you.”
“What?”
“You heard me Jaehyun. I. Would. Love. To. Date. You.”
Jaehyun took a step closer before enveloping you in a hug. He spoke into your hair with a big smile on his face, “I’m so glad. It would be so awkward having to ask for the necklace back.”
“Wait what do you mean?” You said before placing your hand over the necklace.
“Uh, the necklace was more so kind of gift for us dating. Not a gift for your birthday. So if you said no to dating then I would have to take the necklace back.”
“So what is my birthday gift?”
“Dating me!” Jaehyun said smugly.
“Oh my god, you are so annoying,” You rolled your eyes while hitting Jaehyun’s chest lightly.
“So it’s official? You are officially mine now!” Jaehyun said as he linked your hands together.
“Yep, I guess,” You smiled as you guys walked back into the restaurant together.
“Not my boyfriend, my butt!” Veronica exclaimed when you walked in and she saw your linked hands.
“Hey, he wasn’t at the time.” You said with a roll of your eyes.
“Congrats guys,” Mark said as he lifted his glass.
“Thanks, Mark,” You smiled before raising your glass in return.
You spent the rest of your night with your hands in Jaehyun’s. You and your friends talked about everything and ate the cake Veronica brought.
“Since it’s your birthday, I’ll pay for our meal,” Jaehyun said while taking out his wallet.
“Wait, you don’t need to. You guys came out for me, I can pay,” You said reaching out your hand to stop Jaehyun.
“No, I like where your boyfriend is going with this. Listen to him,” Veronica laughed.
You sighed but quietly agreed.
Jaehyun came back not too shortly after, “Okay, we are all set. Y/N, do you need a ride home?”
“Oh, I’m good. Veronica can drive me home,”
“What are you talking about? I’m not driving you home.”
“Huh? But I thought-”
“I’m going home with Mark.”
“Are you seriously ditching me on my birthday?” You groaned.
“No, I’m allowing you to spend time with your boyfriend hehe,” Veronica said while wiggling her eyebrows.
“You are unbelievable,” You laughed.
“Well, gotta go now! Happy birthday babe, be safe hehe,” Veronica waved goodbye.
“What is that supposed to mean?” You asked while Veronica laughed.
“Happy Birthday Y/N,” Mark said before following after Veronica.
“Bye, Mark,” You waved goodbye.
“Guess you are stuck with me now,” Jaehyun chuckled before relinking your hands.
“Unfortunately,” you joked before pushing open the doors.
“Hey!” Jaehyun whined as he opened the car door for you.
The music from the radio filled the car as you guys drove back to your apartment. Not before Jaehyun stopped by an ice cream shop.
“Can I get one Mars Bar Shake?” Jaehyun asked into the drive-through speaker.
“Shut up! They sell that here?!” You exclaimed.
“Of course sir, that is going to be $6.99. Pull up to the front window.” The voice spoke.
“Thank you,” Jaehyun thanked as he drove to the front window. He turned to you with a big smile. “I saw that they were selling them during this month, so I had to buy one for you.” Jaehyun took the shake from the cashier and handed it to you. “Happy Birthday Y/N!”
“Oh my gosh,” you took a sip from the drink. “Holy! This is so good! Thank you so much Jaehyun!”
“No problem." Jaehyun smiled as he pulled out of the drive-through and drove you back to your apartment.
You arrived shortly after, and you were about to get out of the car when Jaehyun stopped you. He ran around the front of the car and opened the door for you.
“Jaehyun, I have hands. I can open the door myself.” You laughed.
“Oh shush, I’m trying to be romantic,” Jaehyun said as he lead you to your front door.
“I see,” You chuckled. “Well, this is me,”
“Oh, uhm…have a good night Y/N,” Jaehyun slowly unlinked your hands, “see you around.”
You leaned in to kiss his cheek, and Jaehyun cheeks turned a light shade of pink. You giggled at how cute he was. You brushed the hair out from his eyes and met his dimpled smile. You waved goodbye to him as you entered your apartment and couldn’t wait to see that smile of his again.
Force's Disney Geek Master Theory: Why Twisted Wonderland Is Called Twisted Wonderland
Tumblr media
We have all grown to know and love various Disney characters over the years, correct? Yet, I believe a lot of us can argue that not many characters have the same effect on us even as adults today as the Villains do within their respective movies. In the game Disney: Twisted Wonderland as we all know and love, the select boys to Overblot are supposed to have the "souls" of their Villain counterparts, right? But...why is it called "Twisted" Wonderland, then? The truth may lie within something that has been right in front of us all along, my friends: the meaning of a mirror. Ready to buckle in for this one? If so, then here we go!
We have seen all of these guys share character traits, looks, etc with their Disney counterparts, correct? Well, what if I were to tell you that things in terms of the "main" guys that we are supposed to pay attention to aren't exactly what they seem? This could be analyzed in a few different ways, honestly, yet the most prominent way is this: the differences in their personalities- they are reversed. Let us take this bit by bit, shall we?
Tumblr media
Ah, yes. The Queen Of Hearts. The ranting, raging, bundle of red, black, and gold we all know and love. (or else heads would roll, I'm sure) One of the things that everybody knows about her is that she's extremely hellbent on the crazy rules that she makes up and is prone to anger honestly very easily. Yeah, you can connect that to Riddle- but think about it for a second. While that rage and the rule thing is still there, it isn't as prominent with him as it was with her, is it? With the Queen of Hearts, her whole "issue" was that she wished to make everybody listen to her and follow her every command- but Riddle was essentially always following the rules of another- not his own. This seemed to make Riddle a little more calm most of the time in terms of how he handled and oversaw things. It wasn't until he actually Overblotted that the "listen to me and only me" thing came out- buuuuuuttttttt I'll get to that part in a bit.
Tumblr media
Next: Leona and Scar. While we honestly didn't get to see a lot of what went on behind the scenes in the Outlands in terms of how Scar even met the hyenas to begin with at all, one thing can honestly be said- Scar worked very hard to get where he was. I mean, it's not like you can get an entire pack of rabid, hungry hyenas onto your side in the course of a single day, or maybe even a week (especially as a lion, no less). No, something to that extreme takes careful planning, wording, and stringing along to ensure that nothing goes wrong along the way. The way Scar spoke to Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed made it seem as though he had known them for a looooonngggg time before this- that's where that behind the scenes planning comes in. And then...you have Leona. Leona, from what we can tell in Chapter 2, planned the idea for the "endgame" alright- but he didn't actually act upon any of the plan for himself. Ruggie did. Even in the Lion King, we see that Scar had no problems whatsoever getting his paws dirty a little within his own scheme to take his "rightful place" at the head of Pride Rock- but Leona quite honestly did not a thing once Ruggie was in motion. See where this is starting to head?
Tumblr media
Azul and Ursula. Ursula, the Disney baddie queen of my heart Ursula, the Sea Witch. She was known all around the ocean floor for helping out poor little merfolk in secret, wasn't she? Yet, nobody ever really seemed to catch wind of the whole "her turning those who didn't quite fit the bill into polyps" thing, did they? That was one of the things that made her such a honest threat to Ariel herself- because Ursula was cunning. She did things behind the scenes, and sure- we could catch onto it out in the audience (annnddd maybe Sebastian and Flounder as well), but nobody else really seemed to, right? Azul is the complete opposite in this standpoint. He instills direct fear into his "workers" and those even beyond and within his dorm. Like- basically most knew that this dude was bad news to begin with. Azul, mostly, seemed to hide his cunning facade behind a fake yet still seemingly "soft and genuine" smile and act. But all in all, he didn't really attempt to "hide" anything- hell, he even proclaimed his entire plan of what everyone with those things on their heads were gonna do for him in the open! At least when Ursula sang as Vanessa, she was in an almost perfectly enclosed room with nobody else around.
Tumblr media
Jamil and Jafar. This comparison here, given what occurs in the movie Aladdin, is honestly one of the biggest possible indicators of this reoccuring theme I shall clarify in a bit. Jafar, while being sneaky, was known for being a more "out there" Disney Villain in terms of his personality alongside that of his partner Iago in the film. He would smile in a sinister way, he would crack jokes out in the open, and let us not forget his crazed yet oddly interesting laughter. Jamil? He's the exact opposite. Given his past and what he has had to dealt with growing up with Kalim, he is much more reserved and barely releases a chuckle or cracks a smile at all. His personality is a lot more repressed than that of Jafar himself throughout the film. Jamil has been so used to having to hold himself back thanks to his parents in favor of Kalim's family, he doesn't seem to know how to "let go" whatsoever. Yet Jafar, while still maintaining that sneaky side of him as well, has no problems whatsoever letting a little hang loose whenever he so chooses to.
Tumblr media
Vil and the Evil Queen. This one honestly may be a bit more self explanatory than the others- but the difference between these two is their expressions of themselves. The Evil Queen was the very first animated counted Disney Villain within Disney's history- yet, she barely had any lines throughout the film at all. Her ranges of expression were almost little to none thanks to the era in which the movie was released in- but she always looked like she was pissed, huh? Vil is the exact opposite of her in this sense. He is able to fully express himself through his various facial expressions, theatrical abilities, musical experiences, fashion style, and even how he behaves. Vil is able to do so much more than the Evil Queen did or could do within that time period, that it's almost a little staggering if you fully picture it.
Tumblr media
Idia and Hades. Now, now. We haven't honestly seen too much of the flaming blue boy yet in TWST, but one thing is apparent here right off the bat- in terms of his personality? He is the exact opposite of Hades. Idia is much like Jamil but to a more "geek" degree- he's extremely introverted, shy, a bit snippy, yet mainly keeps to himself and his gaming tech. Hades is most often renowned as the Disney Villain with the most personality- and the best humor. Hades has no problem whatsoever being "out there" with his crazy puns, sassy remarks, anger, and even mocking behavior. I mean, please, guys- I haven't been this choked up since I got a hunk of moussaka caught in my throat!
Tumblr media
Finally, Malleus and Maleficent. Ooooohoooooooo boy. We have to count out the live action movie Maleficent for this one (sorry horned queen fans). One thing that basically everybody even with their toe in the water in that of Disney movies kind of knows this fact- Maleficent is c r u el. She's got a bizarre set of dark powers and an even blacker heart than that. Hell, we basically had to "soften her up" a little bit in Maleficent thanks to just how seemingly irredeemable her character is in that of Sleeping Beauty. I mean, c'mon now- cursing an infant? And we get no explanation for that in the original? C'mon, now. Anyways, Malleus? As we all can tell by now, this dude is the compleeettteeeeeee opposite. Sure, he has those repressed bits here and there too, but it is evident that this dude has a heart crying out for the MC and it is big, bold, and golden to the core once you look past how he looks. He sent the MC a card for winter break, for crying out loud. Yeah, let me know the next time you see Maleficent do that smh.
Now, I have avoided using a certain word up until this point to see if anybody could catch on to what exactly is happening here. Did you figure it out? Reverse. The boys that either have Overblotted already or intend to Overblot soon stop holding out on us, Chapter 6 have had the exact opposite personalities compared to that of their Villain counterpart- until one prime point in their "character arcs". Their Overblot.
Riddle wished to have all bow before him and obey his rules.
Leona led his entire dorm into ruin and nearly sanded away the entire school in the process.
Azul let himself finally free of his personal shackles entirely and "took what was his".
Jamil finally let himself go and opened up more in his personality, almost seeming to be driven insane in the process.
Vil wanted to become the most beautiful one of all and would kill anyone within the way of that goal without any hesitation whatsoever.
The moment that the boys' Overblotted, that was the exact moment when the "soul" of their Disney Villain counterpart took control. Keeping that idea in mind, that should mean that this will happen in the upcoming chapters and their Overblots:
Idia will show off all of the personality, powers, and intelligence that he has been keeping down within this introverted self of his.
Malleus will become so broken by being left out and alone in the cold for the final time that he will turn into a completely cruel Fae and possibly nearly kill either the MC or the representation of Prince Philip within that Chapter in the process.
(Hello, my dear Readers! Guess who is trying to get back into her bigger pieces of writing? This gal right here~ feel free to drop a comment and tell me what you think of this theory- I'd love to hear your thoughts! 💕)
