At first Jackson wants to keep you a secret from his mom. His mother can be overbaring and he was afraid she'd scare you off or hate you.

You also just didn't want to be the reason Jackson and his mother have a falling out, it wouldn't be fair to Jackson and you knew it would hurt him deeply. So you agreed.

“yeah, he's got beautiful blue-green eyes and he's a plastic surgeon” you smirked, discribing him then cup his jaw and kissed him to shut him up.

Sneaking around the hospital and the people in your lives just gives the relationship a lot of thrill. In the early stage of your relationship it felt sexy to sneak into on-call rooms and it was just fun.

Sometimes the dating in secret gets Jackson jealous, especially if someone you work with has a crush on you “I still don't buy it... unless you're trying to impress someone”

He can never stay mad at you, He'll smile and play along with your joke. “Does he have a name, sweetheart?”

“Yeah, he shares the same last name as those stupid awards doctors are obsessed with getting” you joked. You never understood doctors wanting a harper Avery award, which happened to be an award named after Jackson's grandfather. You met him once and he was the only one in his family who knew about you two, he liked you at least.

Jackson pretended to look offended at that, though he couldn't actually hold back his laughter when you called the Harper Avery Award stupid. He knew you didn't really understand the big deal about the award. Despite your joking, it was very clear how fond of you his grandfather was.

“You take that back. Those awards are what us doctors live for”

“Nuh-uh, I don't need the award. I got you, those stupid awards don't have your eyes and it would be hard to cuddle that thing”

Jackson couldn't help but smile over how adorable you were when you were being a total stubborn ass. “They also don't kiss as good as I do, I'm assuming” He said smirking.

Your brother Mark doesn't know about you two either, Mark was over protective and you both knew Jackson would be dead the moment Mark found out.

It was months that went on and Mark still didn't figure it out. He almost did, once. Alex knew you too well, he just rolled his eyes and smirked. “it's obvious, Avery isn't good at hiding his love sick puppy look”

Spencer can't see your face when you curl away like this. You've turned your head to the window, your arm wrapped around your waist and your shoulder in no danger of touching his. 

Despite this, he knows you want him near you. You'd pulled him aside casually before entering the jet to ask if he'd sit with you. So, you can continue your slouched cold shoulder if you like, but Spencer's confident that you don't mean it personally, he won't take it that way. 

It was a kid, this time. Whenever the BAU fails to pull through and a child dies, you take it hard, as does everyone else. The only difference with you is that if it were any other situation, you'd soldier through, pretending that it didn't hurt you. When cases like this happen you don't bother pretending.

You're taking it especially hard, perhaps because you were reprimanded. You edged your way into somewhere you shouldn't have and accused the wrong man. Spencer doesn't know what Hotch said to you to wound you this deeply, but he can imagine it was something along the lines of forsaking your hot-headedness. Spencer knows from personal experience that it's going to stick around, a what if like cancer in your head that grows and grows. What if Hotch was right? And what if your bad decision was the weight that tipped the scale out of favour? 

He makes sure that no one can listen before he leans in toward you. "You okay?" he asks quietly. 

"I'm fine," you say, shrugging without looking away from the window.

He checks behind him. Hotch is in the kitchenette, a cup of coffee and a case file balanced in one hand, a tea kettle in the other. Morgan lays across the couch with Emily in the chair adjacent, reading. JJ texts to Spencer's right. She can definitely hear everything he's about to say, but he'll get over it. 

"You remember when he yelled at me in Tennessee?" he asks. "In front of the team? I thought he'd be mad at me for weeks, but–" 

"It's not Hotch I'm thinking about." You lean back in your chair properly, tipping your chin up. You look as though you've swallowed something sharp. 

"I know," Spencer says. He digs through his messenger bag for the drink he bought before take off, a half litre of your favourite. 

He presses it into your hand. 

"I'm okay," you say, taking it. You weigh it back and forth, the liquid sloshing heavily, your eyes tracking the wave.

"Just drink it. It'll help your headache." 

You unscrew the cap of your drink. "How did you know I have a headache?" you ask between little sips. 

Spencer just knew. Same way he knows you don't want to talk about the case, no matter how badly you need to. 

Your hand lays restless on your thigh, twitching like you're in the midst of a bad dream. The jet is dim but not dark, the lines and valleys of your face gently shadowed. He knows he could kiss your cheek and cheer you up if he had the courage. He thinks about it until he goes half mad. 

"I wish I was like you," he murmurs. "I know it doesn't always work out, but you're not afraid to mess up. That's a good thing." 

You turn your cheek into the chair. For the first time in hours, he can see all of you. Your shoulders relax, your eyelids slightly droopy. 

"Maybe I'd mess up less if I weren't," you say. 

"But you do more good taking a chance on things than bad." Spencer can't summon the courage to kiss your cheek, but he can take your unhappy hand into his. 

You close your eyes. Tentative, Spencer presses the back of your hand to the front of his, drawing half circles into your palm. You let him do it for long, slow minutes, nothing but the hum of the engine and his skin brushing yours. 

When your lip wobbles, he curls his hand closed around yours. 

You aren't upset about Hotch, he knows that. You're upset about something they couldn't change, because they weren't fast enough. It's a team failing that you've taken onto your shoulders, and it isn't right. Spencer gives the plane one last look before he darts forward. He stops short, his face next to yours, and sighs. 

You turn away from him before he can kiss your cheek. 

You've never had a problem bragging about how much you like Spencer. When somebody tells him to stop talking, you listen. When others roll their eyes, you smile and poke at his sides teasingly. Usually, you'd let him kiss you. He grits his teeth and buckles up. If you can't be vulnerable, he can be twice; failed kisses don't bother him if it's in an attempt to cheer you up.  

"What can I do?" he asks, pulling your joined hands to his chest. 

"Nothing. Sorry. Nothing, I'm fine." 

"Can we please work on the assumption that you're not fine? And that I'm here?" 

You frown at him. Slowly, your frown turns to a less horrifying impassiveness, and not long after that you're pressing your cheek to his shoulder. 

"Can we not talk? Would that be okay?" you whisper. 

"Sure. Of course it is." 

You nod gratefully into his arm. He lets his nose sink into the top of your head, not giving much thought to how uncomfortable it is. His arm comes up to stroke yours, but when JJ stands he drops it.

If Ashlyn were to get injured in any way, whether it be in ballet, Phantom World, and she decided to hide her injury, how do you think Tyler would react?

Or how would Tyler react if he almost lost Ashlyn, anyway? (Something similar to the train, but worse)

these are two different situations in my mind, so let me answer them separately cause i think tyler's reaction would depend on the severity. (he'll still worry regardless)

for the first one, i think ashlyn would just forget to mention it cause they've experienced even worse situations, so in her mind, getting a small injury (say a scratch during ballet practice) isn't a big deal.

tyler, obviously being used to taking care of taylor's many injuries (tay spends her time tinkering and can be so focused on her work that she hardly notices any cuts or bruises in her arms, so it's up to ty to fix her up) just clicks his tongue at her in mild annoyance for not telling him earlier, but overall he'd be pretty fine with it.

if it was a near death experience, that's a different story. personally, it would have been great if we saw ashlyn falling from the train in tyler's pov bc i KNOW his reaction would be *chef's kiss* unfortunately, we didn't get that or much of how they talked afterwards, but that's what my brain is for, and i have a lot of ways to picture how tyler would react to witnessing ashlyn's near death experience:

my favorite one is the way his usual anger and loudness just falls silent as instinct takes over and he jumps in just in time to save her. then when he knows he's got her safe and sound, comes all the fear, anger, and worry all tumbling out of his mouth in one big shouting match. bc the idea of losing ashlyn terrifies him, and the only way he knows how to fight fear is through anger. and ashlyn knows this, knows that he's not mad at her, but at what could have almost happened to her had he not showed up in time. and it's moments like this when she realizes that he cares. he wholeheartedly cares about her. and his anger isn't a dig at her shortcomings, but rather his own way of showing his concern. especially when she knows for a fact that tyler only ever gets this angry on behalf of those he holds dear.

Living on borrowed time AU: About Bill

Most Bills tends to be pretty chatty and talkative, and for the most part this Bill is.

However, when dealing with this Stanley, its like a switch is flicked, and his mind is flooded with rage. It didn't used to be as bad as its gotten, his temper has always been pretty bad, but at this point its reached beyond critical levels. And this incomprehensible fury brings with it a side effect, of sorts

You ever seen someone get so mad they can't talk? Can't scream? Well that is now something Bill is unfortunately regularly afflicted with when dealing with this Stanley. He positively hates it. He hates how worked up this tiny little insignificant speck causes him to get, hates how it tunnels his vision, how it blinds him.

He gets so consumed in his own fury that sometimes he can't even remember what happens, a Blackout Rage. He finds compared to getting blackout drunk, it is not an experience he enjoys nearly as much.

He also finds he does not like how sloppy it makes him (he will not admit that when dealing with this human he cannot afford to be sloppy).

How it controls affects him(how he reacts to the mere thought of this human in a near Pavlov response of uncontrollable wrath)

He can't even let off some steam via murder, maiming, and mayhem anymore! It's not satisfying, doesn't scratch that itch anymore (they're not the ones he needs wants to hurt, to kill. It doesn't mean anything).

It's. Driving. Him. Mad.

Madder, that is. He was already insane, but you knew that already

Unfortunately for Stanley this lead to Bill having a bit of a self-awareness in that he realized, as mentioned in the first post, that he might accidentally-on-purpose immediately kill him once he has him. Resulting in a quick and (relatively)painless death. A merciful end. That is not on the table, Bill absolutely refuses that as an option. He wants to take his time, it will be a slow and merciless death or none at all.

So Bill has taken measures(or will take measures, depending on where/when we're at) to keep himself in check. This was(potentially) before he committed to putting in wasting the effort of altering Stan to insure he wouldn't critically break him . Yet.

Of course Bills pride won't let him have Stanley, of all things, influence his ability to think and speak (He will not show He does not have any weakness caused by this pathetic excuse of a lifeform), so he trys to get his temper under control.

Eventually he'll get some results, mixed results, but results nonetheless. No longer immediately going for the kill at least

(Debating on the idea of having him put himself on a leash, and tying/tangling himself in his own mental strings, to forcefully keep him from doing certain rash things when furious, or to force himself to speak when his wrath has rendered him mute)

(Possibly something like a freeze response? Like he'll lunge for the kill and he's forcibly stopped, hand shaking as it tries to reach him, only a foot away from being able to rip him apart. Possibly can speak but it's like trying to speak through a clenched jaw, like pulling teeth (which he'd usually enjoy), to get so much as an individual word, let alone a single sentence, out)

Featuring: Tighnari, Venti, Xiao & Albedo. Can be read as romantic or platonic.

A/n: it's frankly criminal how few neurodivergent reader content there is out there so here I am.

Disclaimer!! While I do have ADHD nobody’s ADHD is the same, so what might be common for me is something another person has never experienced.

Also I drop some lesser known aspects of ADHD in this post so here’s a general index of what those terms mean. It’s a lot more nuanced than what I’ve written down here but it’ll give you a general idea of the concept!

Index:

Executive dysfunction/ADHD paralysis: Wanting to do your job/work, but it feels like you’re physically unable to.

Food sensory issues/selective eating habits: A lot of people with ADHD are ‘picky eaters’ and refuse to eat certain foods even if it's good for them. Usually we pick foods with high sugar since it causes a ‘dopamine surge’.

Auditory processing disorder (APD): Having difficulty making out what someone is saying or processing what someone said too slowly.

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD): Being much more sensitive to rejection or perceived rejection.

Verbal stim: Exactly the same as other stims (Like bouncing your leg or clicking a pen) but just with words. Usually being a certain phrase, sentence, or humming. Although any vocalization can be a verbal stim.

Tighnari

Probably the most knowledgeable about this out of everyone on this list.

He knows it's not just 'lose your focus fast' and that ADHD is a lot more nuanced than that but at the same time he isn't an expert on it.

You'll have to explain some things to him, and knowing Tighnari, he'd happily let you tell him.

Mf takes notes. If he gets too excited and overwhelmes you tell him so he'll calm down a little lmao

Downside of him knowing a lot about (your) ADHD is that he knows when you need to cut back on some things.

If you're a very picky eater like me and don't like the taste/texture of healthy food he will literally not allow it LMAO

You'll be eating an excessive amount of sugar and he'll literally snatch whatever is in your hands and tell you to eat something healthy instead. And no, you cannot convince him to give it back to you until further notice.

If you hate the texture of actual healthy food he’ll definitely find an alternative for you to eat no matter how long it takes. You are not getting out of this.

In the nicest way possible… Tighnari is probably a little annoyed about your ADHD sometimes 💀💀💀

He never blames you or gets mad at you because he knows it's not your fault when this does or doesn't happen but he's still a bit miffed about it lmao.

Like when your auditory processing disorder suddenly kicks in and you make him repeat himself ten times. Or how you space out during his lectures.

However, Tighnari is smart so he'd definitely find a way to gain your attention so when he tells you things you can actually pay attention.

He's pretty good at wrangling your executive dysfunction, too (he's used to Collei having similar problems when he's tutoring her). He believes in the work/reward system and he always knows what'll make you actually get up to do what you're supposed to.

Usually by using your current hyper fixation/interests against you LMAO

"Do that assignment/task and I'll take you out to get that merch you've been wanting for over a month."

"YOU WILL!?"

(If you like soft things like his ears, he would absolutely use it as bait for you to do your work also LMAO)

But if it's a really rough day he knows when to dial back on his constant nagging for you to do your work and encourages you to take it easy for the day.

If you're like me and forget things semi-regularly he'd always remind you. Especially if it's an outing/meeting with someone.

(Although, if you're the type of person to get annoyed by it he'll stop/dial it back if you ask.)

Can be overstimulated by loud noises easier than others.

Seriously though you both are at a loud party or something and look over to each other giving each other the 'why are we here? Just to suffer'? Look.

But if either of you are about to/are overstimulated you leave the area with each other to calm down. It's sweet 💖

He was originally a bit annoyed by how easily your mind wandered or how quickly you jumped from topic to topic but got used to it after a while. It even grew on him, he finds it endearing nowadays.

Always loves to hear you talk about your hyper fixation, seeing you so happy makes him happy too.

(And you best believe you'll be listening to that boy's flower talk. You think you know more than most rangers about the flora in Teyvat than they do. He's cute though, and you love hearing him talk about it as well, so really it's a win-win scenario.)

Mean this in the nicest way possible, but.. Tighnari is probably going to make you feel really bad once or twice on accident LMAO

With this tough love nature and your Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria you sometimes can't tell when he's being sarcastic/playful and/or he didn't mean what he said (or simply didn't understand.)

He almost always realizes right away and reassures you he meant no harm, and you believe him, but you're understandably still a bit upset LOL

He always makes it up to you, though <3

And if you ever get mad at yourself about how easily you get upset he's always there to reassure you that it's okay and you shouldn't bash your emotions like that, even if they're irrational.

Was originally confused when you started verbally stimming around him before you explained that to him as well. As long as it's not unexpectedly loud, he doesn't mind it and if you ever stop for a long period of time he def gets a bit upset 💀 like 'why'd you stop?? Did something happen??'

And if you stim in a way that hurts you he definitely puts a stop to it right away. Usually by offering you alternative ways to stim in ways that don't make you hurt yourself.

Venti

But really, Venti doesn’t quite understand what ADHD is all that much. He’s heard the term before but never really cared to figure out what it means. You’ll have to educate him on it before he understands.

Honestly he’s kind of surprised at how much more there is to ADHD than he originally thought. Like damn your brain works against you like that?? You deal with that DAILY?? Damn bitch you live like this? /lh

… But also he unironically kind of finds it funny.

“I can’t believe your brain will go to such lengths to not do work just because it doesn’t like it.”

“Shut up.”

Sorry, but Venti is a tease at heart and he cannot hold himself back. Although, if he sees you genuinely upset by what he said he’ll apologize.

Despite that Venti is actually really good at helping you if you need it. He never gets annoyed if he has to repeat himself a dozen times or if he has to help you get something done, or if he has to calm you down for any reason.

If your ADHD is keeping you from falling asleep Venti always offers to sing you to sleep, it’s up to you if you decide to accept or not. (He’ll be very pouty if you decline though lol)

If you're like me and have lost items right in front of you (once I lost an item I was looking for for a good fifteen minutes. It was in my hand.) Venti can and will tease you about this.

"Hmm~ I don't know… Where did you see it last?" You could basically hear the laugh in his voice.

Once you do find it in a really obvious spot he will then laugh out loud. Just joke about breaking up with/leaving him and he'll quickly be on his knees apologizing

If one of your vocal stims is humming/singing anytime Venti catches wind of it he's definitely singing along with you. It turns into a karaoke in seconds and you're both laughing and smiling by the end of it.

He’s surprisingly one of the most understanding people on this list. No matter what, he'll always be there for you and somehow always knows how to help. You asked him about that and he said,

Although there is one aspect he’s not great at steering you away from only because he’s also bad at steering himself away from it.

Impulsive tendencies.

Did you impulsively buy something? What a coincidence. Venti did something similar just seconds ago. Did you leave the group you were with because something caught your eye? Venti is right beside you, also looking for whatever caught your attention. Did you say something without really thinking about it? Venti just did the same somewhere across the room.

You guys are almost in sync for impulsive decision making no matter how far apart you two may or may not be.

On multiple occasions you’ve both run to each other in a panic after you both impulsively did something you shouldn’t have.

“Venti, help! I just entered a competition I know nothing about and it starts tomorrow afternoon!”

“Y/n, help! I just promised I’d do something I definitely shouldn’t!”

You both look at each other in panic and internally scream.

Xiao

Unlike Venti, Xiao hasn’t the slightest clue what ADHD is. He literally has no concept of mental disabilities and genuinely just thought some people had a harder time with things, not that their brain is wired differently.

Before you tell him he’ll see you stimming sometimes or notice you say certain words or phrases multiple times and just shrugs it off as ‘human things’. Same could be said for most of your ADHD shenanigans.

It was a blessing and a curse since he wouldn’t judge you for any of them, however if something like your executive dysfunction kicked in he’d probably think you’re being lazy 💀💀

You’d have to have a long sit-down talk about your ADHD and everything that goes on with it before he understands and can help you with it.

Even if you’re like me and your explanation skills are about as clear as muddy water he’d likely at least get the gist of it.

Now listen, Xiao is a harsh person by nature but once you tell him about your rejection sensitive dysphoria and what it means he’s probably looking back on anytime he was even slightly mean to you and worrying about if he accidentally hurt you.

Reassure him that even if he did hurt you, it’s in the past now and he knows to do better now.

Boy is much softer to you after that talk, even if he won’t admit it. He's the one least likely to accidentally hurt you with words out of everyone.

Xiao didn’t- and frankly, still kinda doesn’t- know a lot about humans before he met you, so he’s learning as he goes. Which means that at the beginning he’s going to be really awkward with comforting/helping you.

He’s trying though! And if you tell him how to help either before or after something like your executive dysfunction starts acting up, he’ll… still be a little awkward, if i’m being honest, but it helps much more than before you told him anything. The more he gets used to your ADHD the easier it’ll be for him to help you with it.

It becomes easier over time for both of you and Xiao slowly grows a ‘sixth sense’ if something is wrong.

Forgot something at the house? Xiao is already handing it to you as you turn around to go and grab it. Impulsive did something you probably shouldn’t have? Xiao is suddenly there to calm you down and do damage control. Your brain suddenly refusing to process what someone said? Xiao breaks down what they said so you can fully process it.

Seriously, bring him grocery shopping with you. He'll remember things you didn't even put on the list.

You wonder how Xiao got this power and Xiao also wonders how he got this power but he isn’t complaining. If he can help you in any way, he will.

"Hey, you forgot your lunch. I don't want you going hungry while I'm gone..."

Tease him about how he's acting like a caregiver and watch him turn red.

Albedo

He didn't know much about ADHD before he met you if he was being honest.

He knew more than Venti and Xiao but less than Tighnari, so you won't have to explain as much as you did with the previous two!

He finds it very intriguing, although he is the chief alchemist and human psychology has little to nothing to do with that, he finds himself listening to everything you have to say about it.

He knew humans learned in different ways but he didn't know how nuanced all of it was.

Just like Tighnari this guy is taking notes, although he's a bit calmer than Tighnari was lmao

"Fascinating. I knew humans were complex creatures, but this is much more nuanced than I originally anticipated."

Just like with Xiao, even if your explanation skills are less than ideal, Albedo still gets what you mean.

Seriously, he will pry every detail that you know about it out of you to the point that the conversation has already passed three hours and neither of you noticed.

He's asking questions you didn't even think of and you've known you've had ADHD for years.

Unfortunately, you often have to disappoint him with the fact that there's not exactly an abundance of information on mental illness/disabilities and that he'd likely have to find out for himself.

Even after that Albedo still asks you questions about your ADHD sometimes which you can either quickly answer or it takes ten minutes of pondering to figure it out.

He waits for you tho <3

What the fuck is a social cue

You're usually at least a little better at spotting them than Albedo is, but it's still something you both struggle with 💀💀💀

Difference is that while you may try to apologize, Albedo just doesn't care.

He lives on a cold mountain, it's only natural that he has bad people skills. (He just like me fr fr)

In the nicest way possible the first few times you impulsively make a decision/have Executive dysfunction/etc Albedo will definitely say smthn like, "Oh, so this is what it looks like." 💀

Mf is lucky he's cute.

Afterwards though he'll help in any way he can. Which, of course means, any way alchemy can.

You're surprised at how useful all the things he made for you are, and you're grateful for that man making them for you every day.

All of Albedo's previous note-taking and observations of any bad habits you have because of your ADHD ended up with him being able to handle your bad habits better than you can 💀

Buddy is too smart for his own good.

You're taking notes from him at this point. You'd be a little offended that he knows more about your mental disability than you do but honestly if it helps you manage it better you'll take it with open arms.

While you're in his laboratory he likes hearing about you info dump about your hyper fixation. It's better background noise than the howling winds outside and you look adorable while talking about it. That's a win-win for him.

(Although like Tighnari, you'll also hear about his own experiments. Even if you're not really processing the information Albedo appreciates that you're trying)

If you're more creatively inclined he'll occasionally ask for your help if he's stuck on a project to see if you can think of something he hasn't yet. Even if you don't he says your input helps (translation: he likes hearing your voice and opinions)

Out of everyone on this list he's the least baffled about your odd habits. Man's is so unbothered by everything it's kinda funny.

The only thing he's worried about is when you look after Klee alone… he trusts the both of you to be able to take care of yourselves, but Klee is impulsive by herself. And if you're also impulsive it could lead to tragedy.

"You're aware the acting grand master is trying to stop Klee's habit of fish blasting, correct?"

"Well, maybe the acting grand master should try fish blasting herself! It's not our fault it's so fun!"

Kill My Mother (Manga)

Gotta thank Cherry for this one because even though as of current there's only started out it's already running at full speed. The story is rather dark already with the series ongoing. Violence, sexual violence, murder and others in this one and it's already a blast.

The story starts out with Shindou being forced to watch her mother have sex with another man. It jumps to Shindou being scolded by a teacher because of attempting to put cleaner into a male student's school lunch. It seems that this isn't the first time this has happened as she's had these kinds of event before. Shindou gets this teacher to grope her breast as a way for her to get out of this situation without a punishment, which works, and eventually leads to compensated dating with her and the teacher as a way for her to earn money. Here, another student by the name of Hasumi looks into her bag and finds a note. We get to learn about Shindou's backstory about how her mother changed after meeting another man, no longer caring for her the way she used to. As a result, she is trying to bring back "her old mother". While attempting to go out and meet the teacher, Hasumi comes into her apartment and tells her the teacher isn't coming. He also reveals that he's stolen her plan, which is revealed as running away during winter break and getting her mother worried so that she'll come looking for her, leading to killing both her mother and eventually herself. Hasumi declares that she doesn't want to let her die or give her body to the teacher, even stating he'll help with her plan because of how much he loves her. He gets slapped by her and tries to drive him out of her house. Hasumi reveals that he's had money for her this entire time and that he saw through her plan, only wishing that she bring him with her. Hasumi accepts knowing that she can use him.

We see a flashback of Hasumi stalking the teacher and Shindou. He ends up reading the note as he believes that it was a love note, before declaring he'd never let that happen. He ends up not only threatening the teacher but also kicking him in the balls and then tying him up, leaving him to be found by the janitor before going to Shindou's place. In the present, as they're about to leave, the man that has been sleeping with her mother comes, leaving Hasumi to come in and stab him in the dick. As he bleeds, Hasumi drags Shindou out of the house, talking about the plan to threaten a family to let them stay. The next chapter as they go onto the subway causes Shindou to get paranoid and run away, but failing. After an old lady offers the two mandarins, Hasumi gets angry and shoves it into her mouth and the two leave the station. Shindou gets mad at Hasumi as it almost blows their cover, leading to them fighting in a parking lot before scratching a van. This van apparently comes from a rich person, who ends up kidnapping the two. Hasumi ends up defending Shidou and stabbing and stealing his truck, eventually dumping them at an abandoned house. While doing this, Hasumi wears Shindou's old uniform, and Shindou ends up pretending to like him, using her experience with transactional love to take advantage of him. They end up at a hotel where Shindou tries to seduce Hasumi, but Hasumi refuses, knowing Shindou's patterns and doesn't want her to use her body like this anymore. She gets angry before setting up their plan for the household they will take over and drives over there.

The two are able to trick their way into the house, hitting the husband with a crowbar and tying both of them up. However, while Shindou is hesitant and scared about what's going on, Hasumi is rather calm and knowledgeable, knowing what to do in these kinds of situations. The wife is worried about them but accepts Shindou's demands of living in their house and pretending to be their daughter, threatening to kill the husband if they do not comply. Shindou tells the wife about her plan with her mother, with the wife worried and asking that they should call child services, something that Shindou refuses and she doesn't want her mother to become the bad guy. Shindou eventually gets Hasumi to release the husband and tend to him, with his request of knowing why she did all of this. Meanwhile at school, the class president, Tsukasa is tasked by the teacher to give something to both Shindou and Hasumi, before interrupted by another student, Natsume. We see the reason Shindou targeted this house partially because she envied the family and their life there. Meanwhile Tsukasa goes to Shindou's house and Natsume goes to Hasumi's house. Shindou's mom's boyfriend attempts to attack Tsukasa but she's able to defend herself and find that Shindou has run away (along with her horrible living conditions). Natsume finds that her mother is very much injured and has stated that her and Hasumi don't live together, instead finding that he lives near a shrine with a lot of images of Hasumi's love for Shindou. At the house, the husband is in a very panicked state before the two of them are offered a bath.

I will say that despite the fact that the story is pretty dark in a lot of ways, it's also kind of funny the way the two main characters react to things, especially Hasumi. He kicks people in the dick, stabs their dick with scissors, shoves an orange in people's mouths, like his reactions to these kinds of things are both hilarious and terrifying in concept since he doesn't seem to care at all their reactions. Speaking of Hasumi, we don't actually know that much about how he came to love Shindou, since we do see that he's loved her even before finding out about her plan to die and seems to have saved up a ton of money for that occasion, yet hadn't seem to have approached Shindou at all until when they met in her apartment. Shindou actually does yell at Hasumi when she tries to kick him out stating that a normal student wouldn't really understand what he's going through, but considering Hasumi's actions, it's not very likely that his backstory will be any nicer than hers since most people don't really become yanderes due to having a good upbringing in stories. We see that the mother has been greatly beaten up, so it's possible that Hasumi is actually the one that hurt his own mother for one reason or another. He also is very calculating, even knowing how to take care of the family that they threaten and is unaffected by Shindou attempting to use her body to seduce him (or at least is aware he's going to do it). Shindou herself is also a fun protagonist due to the fact that she's rather cunning in many cases, but still yearns for her mother's love again, even going so far as to commit a murder suicide with her. It's kind of fun watching her slap and scold Hasumi when he acts up because while she is still afraid of him, she still wants to use him to enact this plan. There's a kind of balance with the more naive parts of her and the darker parts she'd use to achieve it, though I'll be honest, I don't think this plan will actually end up with her mother coming to find her, leaving her more devastated than she might end up being. We see that she really is just a scared child as she greatly appreciates being with this family as she wanted to live happily, thus why she clings onto her past with her mother so bad despite the entire turn of what happens in the end.

The artwork itself is not bad, but I think it lies a bit more on the goofier side which is accentuated by a lot of the kind of funny things that Hasumi does that I mentioned earlier on. There's a bit of wonky anatomy, especially with some of the adults (and the person who kidnaps them has an...interesting design to say the least), but I do appreciate them taking the time to making more interesting looking characters that they meet in their runaway adventure since it makes them a lot more memorable. The more extreme expressions also make it clear that Hasumi's actions are really strange for a 14 year old (not that Shindou is really much better) and can often be ran to the extreme at times.

Overall, this series so far has been pretty entertaining and while there's not a lot out so far, I want to see where Shidou and Hasumi go in their twisted adventure to get Shidou's mother killed. I'm sure it'll ramp up every time. Thank you again to Cherry for being the best and helping me find these yandere stories.

you heard keys jingle at the door and you perked up, he stumbled in. his red hair messy and his eyes red, but not from being high or drunk. he looked over at you and scoffed, just going too the kitchen and grabbing a beer, which concerned you alot.

"dave whats up?" you said softer than usaul, not trying to make him angrier,

he looked up at you, he didnt say anything, he seemed shattered, usaully when he was mad he got all snappy with you. but this was different, he looked lost.

"dave..?" you said quietly,
