Mistake -141
Tumblr media
Based on a request:
I've got a request for you! I got lost in my thoughts and thought of a prompt so sorry if it's a bit jumbled lol So it's like a wrong place wrong time kind of thing where the reader is mistaken for an enemy, and taken to the base. Maybe interrogated a bit before the 141 are told they have the actaul enemy on they way to them and they're like 'then who tf is this....oh shit....'
GN!Reader, angst, civilian!reader, mentions of torture.
141, one of the best military groups the British military has. As always, they have a target to chase after, this time it's in a small town. Their informant let them know it would be a person dressed in a completely different attire than they were used to. You happened to be walking back from your boring job when you passed their location.
"Bravo 0-6, we have eyes on the target," Gaz said over the radio. "Roger that," Price responded, Within seconds you felt as if someone was chasing you. And having that you watched a crime documentary the night before, you quickly thought of a way out. You walked normally but stayed in well-lit areas. The men thought you were just trying to play along with your facade. "Don't let 'em get away," Soap said from his location, his snipe pointed at you. You grabbed your pocket knife and held it in your hand. You walked faster towards a more public road. "Quick, Ghost!" Price ordered. You heard footsteps getting closer and closer.
You ran away, not daring to look back once. You took many detours until you were close to a nearby church, Church service had started but before you could even reach it, Ghost tackled you. "Don't hurt me!" you told him, your hands held high. He took your knife away and pointed his gun at your head, "Why the hell were you running?" You tried to stay calm but two other men approached you, Gaz and Price with their own guns pointed at you. "Soap, you got visual?" Price asked over the radio. "Yes, Sir" was the response, a red dot on your chest. You panicked.
"No please, you are mistaken." your desperate voice pleaded. "That's what they all say." Price growls and Gaz and Ghost drag you back to their temporary base. The entire way there, you cried and begged to be let go. "You have the wrong person, please I'm innocent!" you cried. Soap aggressively cupped your face, "Yer shut the fuck up, ye hear me?"
At base, they threw you to a mattress in an empty room. Wrists tied to the other, ankles tied as well. Your teary face looking at them. Your body is littered with lacerations. Limbs are weak but they wouldn't stop hitting you. You cry, "Please...I beg of you...please stop this" You receive another punch to the abdomen. "Don't you understand we will keep this up, you fucking killer." Gaz held a knife to you. Over the radio, the Delta team came on. "Bravo six, this is Delta 0-5, how copy?"
"This is Bravo six," Price said, his eyes piercing yours. "We found 'em, and are on our way back to base." Ghost gave Price a questioning look. Both men stepped outside of the room, leaving the two sergeants with you. "What do you mean you have the person with you, Delta Five?"
"All features you told us to look for, this person has it and they have admitted to being the subject."
"Fuckin' 'ell." Ghost murmured and rushed inside. "Sergeants, step away." He commanded. "Ghost they are talking now."
"Step away from the civilian, Soap," he advises and approaches you with caution. He kneels in front of you and unties you, "Are you alright?" He asks you with a soft tone. You were too weak to move, all you could do was stare. Whimpers of pain filled the room once Price walked back in and took a look at the injuries they had caused. "C'mon, we have to rush them to the medics." Your vision blurred. In all his years of being a soldier, Price had a day he regretted the most. And that was today, hurting an innocent, treating them as if they were the scum of the Earth. What fucked him up the most? The fact you died on the bed of the medical tent. Your body is weak, blood on the floor and how you died innocent and young, a poor civilian taken hostage, begging to be let out and no one heard.
That day, Task Force 141 lost another piece of their sanity, another stitch with emotions and another shattered glass to the oath they took to protect civilians. Ghost added you to his book of names, the list of all those he lost to war, by his hands, or by the cruelty his job brought. Another soul that Gaz ripped away because of orders, ones he always followed without question. Soap, the one who had the most blood on his hands, now regretted not listening to his instincts.

What are your thoughts on autistic Lance and adhd Keith? I’m neurotypical so I don’t have a lot of knowledge on these things, but I think I understand some reasons why u have those headcanons. I’d love to hear a more in depth explanation though!
Alrighty, so disclaimer: I am an English major. Not a doctor. I’m not diagnosing anybody, and I'm basing my thoughts on my own experiences, opinions, and this one dope venn diagram I found from a bio-psychology student (@tfw-adhd ). So take that as you will.
When you think of ADHD, most people think of two traits: impulsivity and hyperactivity. That’s of course not all there is to ADHD, but they’re pretty major parts! And most people in the fandom consider Lance to be the poster boy of ADHD. But when I asked you guys who the most impulsive character of VLD was, only one person said Lance. Every other person said Pidge or Keith.
And I have to agree.
In a lot of our fics, we associate the ‘fiery red paladin’ with Keith, in his split-second decisions and crazy things he pulls off mid-battle that always work out for him and terrify everyone else. When I asked you guys for your input, many of you said that while Keith and Lance are both impulsive, Lance is only really impulsive when he’s competing, or trying to prove a point — like when he and Keith drove their lions into the ground trying to race blindfolded. Keith, though, is impulsive a lot, and either doesn’t assess the risks when making a decision or has a tendency to take very big risks without question (like Naxzela, or when he left the team to chase after Lotor).
As for hyperactivity, each an every single one of you told me the same thing: Keith has allotted a certain amount of activity for himself for stress release, and if he fails to meet this quota he struggles to regulate his emotions. He trains regularly because he needs it to feel healthy and happy. Lance, on the other hand, is prone to more stim-like activity (like the GIF that goes around every couple of months where he’s lying on the ground and doing that bicycle thing with his legs).
So impulse and hyperactivity, the most well-known pillars of ADHD — so far we have Keith as the poster boy for both, and Lance for one.
The other most popular sign of ADHD, I would say, is disorganization. That’s definitely a mixed bag — organization is really subjective. But when I asked you guys which of the two had the most disorganised fighting style — something you do with very little preparation, when you have to make split-second decisions with the information that you have and the habits you’ve already formed — most of you said Keith. A fair argument was that Keith has such a disorganized or chaotic fighting style because he has a sword, and that’s inherently kind of messy, whereas Lance’s sniping/shooting requires a specific sort of particularity that requires him to be organized and steady.
I would like to argue that that’s the whole point. The bayards are a reflection of the paladins. They summoned these weapons because that is what they use best, that is what suits their fighting style best. Keith gets the sword because although he has some training, his thoughts are all over the place — he’s picking up on a hundred little details at once, thinking not only about the fight he’s currently having but about the fight that’s going to be next. The sword suits him best because it allowed for his natural disorder to be a huge advantage, rather than a hindrance. Whereas Lance consistently summons a long-distance weapon, and even a sniper rifle — a weapon that requires you to focus on one thing at a time, intensely, until the threat is eliminated and you can move on to the next thing. I have no doubts that Lance is constantly hitting targets and noticing new ones as fast as he can, but the whole point of a sniper is that you are lying in wait and hidden because you’re so focused on your one target that you can’t be in the open because you can’t defend yourself.
This level to detail translates outside of battle as well, for both of them. When I asked you guys who was more analytical, 33% (ish) more people said Lance than Keith. The general consensus was that they both have analytical skills, but Lance is better with small and fleeting details (especially when looking at common behaviour — think of the Rover incident, where he was the only one to recognise the dupe for what it was, or even how he was the first to see that Shiro wasn’t quite right). Keith is better at choosing certain goals and trying everything he can to get those goals — like with his quest to find out about his past; he had several different plans that lead to different outcomes (finding the energy in the desert to matching the symbols on his knife to pushing the Blades for answers), and used the information he got to think and overthink about what he was going to do next. While Lance tends to wait for as long as possible with his information until he can come up with the best possible solution (hence why he didn’t act immediately on his suspicions for Shiro and instead made separate note of all the different oddities), Keith tends to use his information immediately and then use the reactions he gets to piece together more answers (the knife incident at the space mall is a pretty good indicator of this specific process).
Okay. So far we’ve outlined a few specific behaviours for the paladins: Keith tends to be really impulsive, with chaotic decision-making skills and an ability to read the room very quickly and notice small, fleeting details. This is reflected in his bayard choice and the way he seeks out and analyses information. He doesn’t plan things out for the long term, and instead acts immediately on the information he has and forms conclusions that way. He has difficult assessing risk (or doesn’t take risk very seriously), is very focused on things he cares about, and when he’s understimulated or doesn’t make time for vigorous physical activity he becomes unregulated and emotional.
I would call that pretty textbook ADHD, although he certainly also has traits for ASD, and I wouldn’t write that off. But when I think of the more autistic of the two of them, I think of Lance, and I don’t think I’m alone in that.
Like ADHD, autism has some traits that are common in reputation: logic and routine. I went over analysis already with you guys, with the conclusion that Lance is better with small details. Not only is that a common finding among people with ASD, but I also think that Lance’s ability to read people and identify when their behaviour is off is a very autistic thing to do. I know that people think that people with ASD can’t read social cues or human behaviour, and in my experience, I find that it just doesn’t come naturally. I do often miss social cues that some people find inherent — like knowing when someone is bored/annoyed with me and when to stop talking — that lead to ostracization (something Lance also faces frequently and has anxiety about, as I’m sure you’re all familiar with in regards to the ‘7th wheel’ debacle). But it was because of this frequent problem that I learnt to categorize micro-expressions and really small changes in behaviour. I had to learn them, because I didn’t recognise them intrinsically. Like you guys pointed out, and like canon has made clear, Lance is very good at identifying these behaviours. He knows when people are acting differently, based on details that may be unnoticed to someone who doesn’t struggle to read social cues and as such doesn’t frequently analyse behaviour. Also, I think Lance may also use obnoxiousness as a defense mechanism — unlike Keith, who gets defensive about his struggles to appear ‘normal’, Lance tends to butt in and annoy people on purpose (like when he interrupted Allura when she was about to list the common traits of a blue paladin) so that he has more control of people’s perception of him. If he grew up struggling to understand why people found him weird or annoying, it would make sense that he would be annoying on purpose so at least he understands why people think of him the way they do.
Going off that — Lance frequently needs justification for things. He needs there to be a reason, he needs to explain things that may not be explainable. I didn’t pose this question to you guys, because I forgot, but I think Keith is more emotional and Lance is more logical, in only that Keith seems to allow himself to feel his emotions (he is the one to tell the other paladins that he is honoured to have served with them, he is the one to frequently and plainly express his anger or frustration, he is the one to outline to Shiro in no uncertain terms that he does not want to be leader because he doesn’t feel ready, etc. Keith is very in tune with his emotions and feelings, he just is also very uncomfortable with people and isn’t sure if he can trust them enough to express himself). Lance, on the other hand, frequently has to explain away his emotions. He feels strongly towards Keith and has a common urge to be near him or talking to him? It must be a rivalry, and he must do everything he can to keep this rivalry going so he can continue to justify his desires. He feels left out and abandoned? He must count himself as a seventh wheel and assign each paladin to a lion and a value in Voltron so that he has a reason to feel left out. He’s jealous of Lotor? He has to convince himself that Lotor is all, 100% evil, so that jealousy doesn’t come from nowhere. Lance does not allow himself to do anything without explanation. He has to have a reason for everything. Everything has to make sense. Everything has to be logical.
His struggle with his own emotional response to things mixed with his intense need to be loved and be social also leads to a lot of misunderstanding and mistakes within his relationships. When I asked you guys whether Keith or Lance is more likely to make a social blunder, most of you said that both of them are socially awkward but Lance puts himself in more social situations and so he makes more mistakes by volume. I’m of the same opinion. Lance wants to be social and understand people and fit in with people, he’s just not very…good at it.
One thing Lance is good at, though, is routine, and about half of you agreed with me on that. Both Keith and Lance have several rituals/routines that are important to them (as previously mentioned, Keith’s training schedule is important for him to help regulate his emotions and keep himself stimulated), but Lance has more routines, and seems more particular about them. The best example would be his skincare routine, which he mentions more than once and expressed agitation when the routine was disrupted. Also, in the few canon shots we have of him sleeping, he has a very specific set of mannerisms (music, eye mask, sleep mask, pajamas, slippers, robe, must sleep for a certain amount of time for said 'beauty sleep') and complains both in the show and in other canon materials (like the Voltron handbook or the comics) when this doesn’t go as planned. Whereas Keith literally sleeps in his boots and seems to be fine dropping wherever.
ASD and ADHD are very similar. They share more symptoms/behaviours than they oppose, so you can certainly choose whatever feels right for you. But I do find it strange that Lance is almost always the one with ADHD and Keith is almost always the one with ASD, when in both fanon and canon (Keith is the impulsive one with poor planning skills, reliant on physical activity for regulation, low sense of danger and high tendency towards risk, low motivation for tasks he doesn’t care about; Lance is the one with all the wacky plans, who reads behaviour exceptionally well but makes frequent social blunders, specific about several rituals and routines, takes people at their word), their characters show the exact opposite. I just think that somehow in the start of the fandom, we switched them around and just rolled with it. But I love subverting fanon expectations, and I am happy to die on the ASD Lance and ADHD Keith hill!

AO3
I am the author, please don’t re-upload this fic to any other sites/ reblog>re-upload
As the hazing summer weather beamed through the glass panes of their windows, the oldest of all the Dream kids, Bad, was recleaning out the scar on George’s cheek, making sure it was safe for him to go out for the day without him getting it infected, Covering it up with some gauze and medical tape once he was satisfied it wouldn’t be getting infected. Dream watched with ferocious intensity as he tried to memorise every movement, Bad wasn’t home very often, he had school and other things to deal with, so Dream was left to be the biggest brother most of the time.
When he was little, he would have jumped at the chance to be in charge! It meant he was strong and trustworthy but recently, despite his confident facade, he did find himself getting worried a lot. Being the oldest meant knowing what to do when everyone else was scared, it meant being the bravest! And while he did have to admit he was a natural born leader, he didn’t always feel prepared. People were unpredictable and it scared him a little that it was his responsibility to judge them now.
“Look” Bad sighed as he listened to his two youngest brothers rant on and on about how mean their ‘rivals’ were; as much as he hated to see them all upset and bothered like this, he was sure something must have happened to cause such a big feud. Kids don’t just fight for the sake of fighting right? When he was their age, he, skeppy and their other friend used to just prank people and play random games together. Maybe they did play fight, he couldn’t really remember..
“Are you sure that nothing happened to provoke them? I believe you muffin heads but maybe try to talk to them about sharing the park next time? Not everything has to be a war y’know……. And keep the gauze on this time! The doctor said you can’t leave it open until it’s fully healed. If you think those boys are actually dangerous I can go talk to their parents while you're gone, stay away from them though okay? I don’t want any more bumps or scratches.”
As the boys all scrambled to grab their things before running out the door, they each gave Bad a hug, letting him know they’d call if they would be out late. The summer air lingered with an overwhelming feeling of comfort and familiarity as the three kids walked down the street, they hadn’t lived here long at all but they’d already made a name for themselves; they had even already made a group of enemies on the same street as them. This would be fun.
Walking around in a thick green hoodie and a mask was proving to be more of a challenge that he had initially anticipated though, he wasn’t sure what kind of hell they had moved into but summer was so much more than summer. It was thick thick air, beads of sweat, and absolute torture. He felt his breath fog up and condensate his mask, leaving a coating of wet breath along the inside of the plasticy surface. It was disgusting but he’d rather pass out through heat exhaustion than take it off. Taking off the jumper was fine though, he did need to take extra care when pulling it off though since he couldn’t risk accidentally flashing his face.
Dream had always enjoyed the more violent games, he was an athletic boy, the most athletic out of all his brothers, and he loved trying to see if they could track him down or catch him. This usually ended up being games of hide and seek or bulldog that got taken too far, the scar on the cheek hadn’t been a big deal for them since they were so used to playing in such a rough manner. To them, this was all a game. They’d have a big war over the den but at the end of the day they’d still be friends, if he was being honest Dream was glad he had found other boys who liked the same kind of games as they did!
His brother’s were fun but they were getting predictable, he knew how they’d react. He wanted new people to play with! He wanted the chance to team up with George and Sapnap and fight as one.
This would be fun. They needed a plan though.
“I think.. I think we need to prove that we deserve to hang out there too. There’s absolutely no reason why a little kid should be allowed there but we can't!” Balling his fist up and hitting it directly into the palm of his hand as he tried to think, Dream led the group in the direction of the woods.
“Wilbur thinks he can talk about what they want as if we don’t exist! I say we declare war on L’manburg! Who are they to say where we can and cannot go!”
Sapnap, the youngest of the three but not by much -certainly not as big of an age gap as the sleepy boys had- had yelled out, waving his toy wooden sword around in mock anger. Really, he was a little upset about not being allowed into the park but it would be so much more fulfilling once they had earned their passage into it.
Dream glanced at his brother and chuckled, George was holding a toy axe as well, himself having a nerf crossbow, which he had saved up all of his pocket money for a whole month to buy. After doing so many dishes to get the extra cash, he was absolutely going to try it out.
“Dream you’re good at running, I’d say you should snipe them from behind a bush with your crossbow and when they’re weak you run in there. While they’re distracted George and I can charge in from another point. We shouldn’t attack today, George is still wounded and we aren’t prepared. Let’s just scope the scene and find an alternative entrance”
Admittedly, Dream had a tendency to underestimate his brothers. This was proof enough that Sap could be smart though, it would be an objectively bad idea to attack while they were weakened and the enemy was strong. They only had their ‘weapons’ to defend themselves with, in case the sleepy boys started throwing rocks again.
In fact, he was still quite surprised that Wilbur even had thrown the rock. He had expected him to be an easy target, he was carrying a guitar around and he was so tall, Dream could definitely push him over if he wanted to play dirty. While it wasn’t ideal they had a tough enemy, he would be lying to himself if he said he wasn’t intrigued to see what would happen next.
Yes, this game was going to be very fun.
----
“Okay everyone!”
Phil called out, his three brothers all sat on a half-rubble brick wall.
“So we all know that we’ve already had two people get hurt inside the L’manburg walls. Obviously nobody wanted this to happen, whether it was from losing your temper or just not paying attention to your surroundings, we need to do something about it” Phil clapped his hands together, he knew them well, if he made this into something fun they might actually take his advice.
“L’manburg is not just a hang out spot, it’s not just a theme park either! It is our great nation! And, like every great nation, we need laws and rulers to keep us safe!”
Looking around, he saw how their faces perked up, even Techno, who didn’t usually enjoy roleplaying, seemed excited. It was a nice change, especially things were starting to get mundane, considering there wasn’t much of the park left unexplored -Wil had expressed a desire to want to check out the swampy area but Phil immediately shut down that idea, telling him that even if Wil ended up okay, Tommy would copy him and without a doubt get hurt.
“Wilbur will be your president, while I’m not here he’s going to keep you safe and make any tough decisions. Tommy, you will be the vice president” he had to keep himself from saying this role was just to keep the boy from getting upset at not being chosen for anything cool.
“Tommy, this is very important, do you think you can handle it?”
The young boy nodded excitedly, bouncing a little where he was sitting.
“Okay, Tommy you need to help Wilbur make all the important decisions, and when anybody wants to join L’manburg you need to get Wilbur and then you can be in charge of making them go away” As silly as it was, at least he could trust Tommy to not throw rocks if he was told not to.
“Finally Techno,”
“Oh my god, me too?” The teen chuckled
“Of course, we need our warrior! Where would we be without our brave fighter!”
“Ah yes, the warrior. Tommy, I eagerly await your command. I’m so ready to fight people” Techno pulled his hair back, tying it at the back in a low ponytail as some small wisps framed his face. It was beautiful, everyone seemed to agree on that -unless they were overly masculine teenage boys- but Techno would kill anyone who dared say so in an instance.
He seemed to be stifling a little laugh, he was never into acting or theatre like his brothers were, while he was little he always preferred playing strategy games rather than make believe ones. That being said, he still loved seeing them happy and even though he doubted he would be doing it nearly as much as they would, he’d make an effort to play along.
The grin that shot across Tommy’s face was reason enough to roleplay, just a bit.
“Okay okay so we need laws too! Wilbur, as the president, has already prepared a list”
Phil sat down on the wall, it was cold and uncomfortable but against the humid air mixed with the slight smell of mildew from the slowly rotting park, it was nice. Last night, he had stayed up late with Wilbur, talking about this idea. If they gave Tommy a new place to hang out inside the park and called it the White house, he’d surely play there instead of doing whatever it is he does on the coasters.
It still made Phil a little dizzy to think that they had been letting Tommy climb unsupervised while he wasn’t here, hopefully he had the mind to not go too high but knowing his brother, he would have taken the chance to climb higher.
Wilbur cleared his throat as he got a piece of paper out of his pocket.
“Dear citizens of L’manburg”
Tommy giggled, which made Wilbur give him a little smile before he carried on with his speech.
“We will be a peaceful nation! I intend to rule this land without the need for any more people getting hurt. Any kind of weaponry, including collected rocks, are strictly prohibited inside L’manburg, the only instance in which we fight is if we are under attack! My fellow Sleepy boys, too much blood has been shed on this land, I hope you will all stand with me while I strive to steer this great nation in the direction of being more loving and accepting of our neighbours.”
Phil chuckled as he watched his brothers, they all seemed so happy, most importantly though, they would finally have a reason to be more careful.
Hopefully nobody else would get hurt.

Rise Protocol
Rise Protocol — The next-gen hybrid rebase token
Tumblr media
$RISE #ieo #blockchain #dot #bounty #defi #Rise #RiseProtocol #RebaseToken #FrictionlessYield #Rebases #DynamicPeg #blackhole #AutoLiquidity #AutoRewards.
Buy the RISE token
Rise Protocol is a fully compliant ERC20 token on the Ethereum network which can be purchased on Uniswap Exchange starting on February 11th, 2021 20:00 UTC.
Buy RISE at 16.40 USD
What is the Rise Protocol about ?
The world’s most advanced synthetic rebase token, Rise Protocol combines revolutionary tokenomics and features with the best and latest decentralized finance (DeFi) technology. Smart contract has already passed audits by CTDSec (professional auditing firm) and Shappy from WarOnRugs.
KEY FEATURES:
1. Rebase token.
If price of RISE is above peg price at 20:00 UTC, supply of RISE will increase and everyone will automatically receive additional RISE tokens into their wallet. If the price of RISE is 5% below the peg price for 3 consecutive days at 20:00 UTC, supply of RISE will decrease.
2. Dynamic peg.
Initially pegged to 0.01 ETH, RISE has the revolutionary ability to peg to any asset, class of assets, or calculated metric in the future based on investor/market sentiment.
3. Frictionless yield.
A portion of each and every transaction (except buys) is instantly distributed to all holders.
4. Auto-liquidity generation.
A portion of each and every sell is permanently locked into liquidity.
5. Auto-distribution of liquidity provider rewards.
A portion of each and every sell is automatically distributed to liquidity providers.
6. “Supermassive Black Hole”.
Publicly viewable burn address that accrues RISE through several mechanisms, scaling exponentially over time to provide incredibly powerful deflationary effects.
“Sustainable, Adaptable, Fair, and Secure”: these are the four tenets that Rise Protocol was built upon. Every aspect of the token, presale, smart contract, etc. was created with these core values in mind.
Many other DeFi projects sacrifice one or more of these values, which creates scenarios like ridiculously unfair advantages for early private investors, or generating short lived and temporary hype, or creating a rigid contract that has no ability to adapt or change to the ever evolving crypto market, or a contract that is subject to exploits.
How does Rise address these issues in DeFi?
1. Sustainable:
●  Powerful and unique “Supermassive Black Hole” deflationary concept that accrues and burns tokens through various different methods. Effects scale exponentially over time.
●  Auto-liquidity generation that permanently locks a portion of each transaction into liquidity, creating an ever increasing sell floor.
●  Initial rebase lag of 5. This means that if the price of RISE at time of rebase is 100% over the target price, we will receive a rebase for 20% (100% divided by 5).
●  “Supply adjustment” that will increase the price of RISE, but decrease the supply if the market price is below 5% of target price for 3 consecutive days during the rebase time.
2. Adaptable:
●  Rise has the revolutionary ability to peg to any asset, calculated metric, or asset class. Initially pegged to Ethereum for its importance in DeFi and for ease of understanding, this peg can be altered in the future through governance based on investor/market sentiment.
●  The smart contract was coded so that every parameter can be adjusted in the future through governance. Things like sales tax, transaction tax, burn percentage, liquidity provider rewards, rebase lag, etc. all have the ability to be adjusted. This gives RISE the ability to constantly adapt and change based on market conditions.
3. Fair:
●  Presale price will be 0.01 ETH, same as the Uniswap launch price.
●  Seed investors acquired Rise at 10% below launch price. However, 80% will be vested over the course of 1 month.
●  Unique smart contract feature allows us to enable Uniswap trading after liquidity has been added and presale tokens distributed. This will give everyone a fair playing ground once trading begins.
●  Maximum transaction size of 500 Rise for the first hour after Uniswap trading is enabled, preventing bot sniping and creating a fair environment for regular traders/investors.
●  Buy and sell tax helps prevent coordinated price manipulation. A portion of this tax is distributed instantly through frictionless yield to all holders based on holdings.
4. Secure:
●  The Rise contract has passed audits by CTDSec (a professional smart contract auditing firm) and by Shappy from WarOnRugs (highly respected owner of a community aimed at preventing rug pulls and scams in the crypto-sphere).
●  No need to transfer your tokens to a staking contract address in order to earn rewards! Frictionless yield allows you to hold your tokens in your own wallet for utmost security. You can watch as your balance grows with each and every transaction.
●  If you choose to provide liquidity, you will be rewarded through auto-distribution of liquidity rewards. Again, no need to send your LP tokens to a separate staking contract, simply hold your LP tokens in your own wallet and watch as their value increase over time.
●  Initial team provided liquidity will be locked before Uniswap trading is enabled.
TOKEN DISTRIBUTION:
●  Initial total supply – 100,000 RISE
●  Presale – 37,500 RISE
●  Initial Uniswap Liquidity – 30,000 RISE
●  Seed investors (vested over 1 month) – 25,000 RISE
●  Team funds (vested over 2 months) – 5,000 RISE
●  Development & Marketing – 2,500 RISE
PRESALE DETAILS:
Price: 1 ETH = 100 RISE
Whitelist registration will open on February 4th, 2021 20:00 UTC.
Whitelist link will be posted on our official Twitter and Telegram channels.
You must complete all tasks on the whitelist registration form in order to be accepted into the whitelist! The team will be reviewing every application to validate. The whitelist will close once 375 ETH have been pledged.

Review: Digimon Adventure: (2020) Episode 08: The Children's Attack on the Fortress
Tumblr media
In this episode, all it takes is one ass thinking he’s better than everyone else to turn the whole team into a terrifyingly coordinated, efficient and effective invading army. Who knew?
Despite Koshiro and Kabuterimon taking their sweet-ass time getting into the Digital World, Yamato’s return binds the team together in a way that instantly makes it feel complete. It isn’t—some of these kids still have a lot to smooth out and Takeru and Hikari will complicate everything—but Yamato creates a tension that was sorely missing, rounding out the team and pulling everybody into their own unique corners. This is the first time the group dynamic feels sustainable through an entire series, and it doesn’t hurt that everyone gets to be a little awesome in a major team victory.
The episode’s premise and opening engagements promise greatness. An suspiciously convenient lighthouse shines a path to a fortress on an otherwise desolate shore. Tokyo has already started hoarding essentials expecting the worst. The hope of reaching the continent doesn’t blind the kids to the ominous tone going on here, and they’re rewarded with a sniper shooting down Ikkakumon. He and Birdramon think quickly to get everyone out of the drink safely, only to be greeted with a Tankmon assault and more sniping from the “lighthouse.” The overwhelming danger, the dark and misty night, and the lucky intervention they needed just to hide in a cave puts everyone’s backs to the wall. This is where we get to see character.
While Taichi had the fortune to meet Koshiro and Mimi in peak form, and could already vouch for Sora’s potential, Yamato meets the rest of the team rattled, recovering from the closest shave they’d encountered so far. They aren’t exactly Taichi itching to save the day and quick to befriend his new battle buddy. Rather than put his faith in the likes of Joe, Yamato insists a larger group makes for a larger target and that he should storm the castle himself. Gabumon thinks he’s trying to keep them safe. That’s cute.
In fairness, Taichi’s not sure what to make of it either. Is Yamato actually that dismissive of the team, trying to protect them without admitting it, or just being tsundere again and being a decoy without telling anybody? It takes Joe and a poorly received attempt at surrender for Taichi to realize he can return the favor and draw fire away from Yamato. Taichi and Sora charge in behind, arriving in time to take a DarkTyrannomon off Yamato’s hands, while Mimi and Joe run screaming as the Tankmon use them for target practice. It’s a simple strategy, one used many times before in the series, but they come to it organically, with plenty of clumsiness and indecision. They struggle to get to this point, making it more satisfying when everybody aces their tasks to achieve an outstanding success.
Simple and effective is also the best way to describe Yamato’s narrative this episode. While he still recognizes Taichi (and by extension Koshiro) as a useful ally, his preference is still to act on his own. And to be fair, it must have worked for him to not only get to this point, but scout the nature of the fortress and its guards. His revelation at the end is more gradual than it appears, first from Agumon and Piyomon jumping into a fight he perceived as a problem, Sora introducing herself as she follows her partner in battle. The pivotal moment comes as he reaches Gorimon thanks to Greymon running interference and leaving Gorimon unable to pick a target. That’s when he realizes everyone’s contributions, and that the victory he’s about to seal belongs to everybody. Being Yamato and all he doesn’t give a big speech about it, just a quick comment to Mimi, but it’s clear he recognizes the impact and the power they all have if he’d accept it.
Mimi’s not wrong though: Yamato did save the team. A couple episodes ago, it was a little too one-note, with not enough diversion and disagreement to be all that compelling. Joe helped a little, but Yamato provided the spark we needed, the bass line to round the song out and reinforce all the other sounds. Now everyone’s stepping up, where Sora’s role as Taichi’s second becomes vital and Mimi’s blunt honesty is impossible to ignore. There’s plenty more to do with these characters, but the show is exactly where it needs to be.
My Grade: A
Loose Data:
Mimi braiding Ikkakumon’s hair and her ire at Joe stealing her (actually Sora’s) towel is the sort of cute little throw-ins that we can continue to count on her to provide. It’s reminiscent of Eri or Astora providing amusing antics in the background of otherwise straightforward scenes in Appmon.
Sora quietly became the bearer of helpful observations this time around, questioning why there would be a lighthouse, showing concern over how quickly people in Tokyo are panicking, and recognizing that Yamato is a force to be reckoned with even on his own. She’s also bearing supplies again, which was mostly overlooked in the previous three episodes.
While the focus will be on the teamwork of our heroes, we should once again point out the intelligence in the enemy setup, creating a fortress to occupy a chokepoint beyond the beachhead. Gorimon using the Solarmon to both draw in and blind targets from a distance is the chef’s kiss.
Gabumon and Agumon are thrilled to see each other again, a nice callback to their pre-existing friendship in episode two. Although they seem to be more pleasant to each other in their Child forms than their Adult forms.
Piyomon once again gets denied an evolution sequence, as do Palmon and Gomamon, leaving the only sequences for Gabumon and Agumon (only the former’s is full-length). Honestly, given the pace of the episode, this left the episode with one too many sequences. I’m on board with only using them in plot-heavy moments.

Nameless Pt. 2
Nameless
Part 2: Not a bounty hunter
Synopsis: our nameless assassin and her Mandalorian companion had tracked down their bounty, things don’t go exactly as planned.
*The plan is to finish this series before school starts back up again
*enjoy
—————————————————————
I’ll admit it, this it’s the exactly one of my brightest ideas.
Here I was, caged inside a rickety old ship with a complete stranger who happened to be a Mandalorian armed to the teeth.
Not to mention I couldn’t get a read on him because of that stupid helmet and his perpetual silence(aside form the insane amount of sighing that man did).
It didn’t set well with me how immensely vulnerable I was, nothing was really on my terms anymore. One wrong move and I piss the man off, then I’m royally screwed.
I’m no stranger to dangerous men, hell I make them my business. Yet I’m not conceded enough to not recognize when I’m in way over my head.
A Mandalorian, one of the most feared warriors in the galaxy, that is who yours truly decided to team up with.
Oh fuck I’m such an idiot.
My hand hadn’t left my dagger since I stepped onto the Mando’s ship and I gripped it even tighter now.
Suddenly I heard metallic clanking as my partner clambered down the ladder into the lower level of the ship from the cockpit.
I nearly drew my dagger but forced myself to look as nonchalant as possible.
“We’re here.” That’s the first thing he’s said to me since the cantina.
I hadn’t even noticed we landed, that’s how nervous I was. I needed to get a grip, nervousness on a job just leads to missteps.
The Mandalorian pressed a button located on the hull of the ship that lowered a ramp. He was about to step out before I interrupted him.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
He stopped and slowly turned towards me, titling his head. It almost looked like he was saying “ExCuse mE”. Perhaps he wasn’t that hard to read after all.
“Like I said back at the cantina, you are too noticeable in that gear of yours. You practically scream I’m a bounty hunter. Once word that a Mandalorian is here Krath will hightail it.”
I got off the crate I was sitting on and walked past him.
“Let me do some reconnaissance, I’ll be back before sundown.”
As a sauntered off the ship I let out a breath I didn’t know I had been holding.
Since when was it this hard to play pretend?
After asking around I found the resort that our Krath Wilgi was staying at. It was quaint compared to the resorts I’m used to in the inner rim. Less high strung and in your face, meaning it was much easier to snoop around.
I had managed to find a locker room where resort employees changed in and out of their work clothes.
I ‘borrowed’ a set and made my way around the property.
As I perused for the next few hours a plan was formulating in my head as I gathered all the information I needed.
“I’ve got a plan!” I say as I walked onto the Mandalorian’s ship.
He was presently cleaning his weapons when he looked up at me. I swear it looked like he was thinking something along the lines of “Is that so?”. I’d imagine it being in a condescending tone.
“His room number is 214, he has 20 personal guards which in my opinion is a waste of good money. Who needs 20 people following you around? Oh also there’s a bar on the lower level he is at right now. My guess is that he’s only there for a meal so let’s hurry up!”
I made for my bag and started pulling out different outfits, trying to find one that best suit the occasion.
“It’d be suicide to try and break into his room. What I’m going to try and do is get him alone. I’m assuming that fancy rifle of yours has infrared abilities correct?”
“Yes.”
Really the man does not say much.
“I need you then to get someplace high and monitor what is going on. We both need com links so you are able to tell me the location of all the hired guns for when I start moving the target.”
The red dress is too flashy...
“There’s an alley I’m going to lure Krath into. By that time the guards might be catching onto what is going on so I’m going to need to you snipe them if they get too close.”
I filled the Mandalorian on the specifics as I searched and finally found the outfit I was looking for.
It was an elegant but simple dress, one that alluded to money but not necessarily power. It was perfect for the occasion.
“Any questions?” I finally say sorta winded.
“...how many times have you’ve done something like this?”
“I thought my throughly thought out plan would speak for my experience itself.” I softly chuckled.
“But if you must know its more times than I can count.” I gave him a warm, hopefully trustworthy, smile
He just reached into a pocket a handed me the com link I asked for before.
“Thanks... now if you don’t mind I’m going to close the ramp and ask you to go back to the cockpit so I can change.”
I swear I’ve never seen someone climb up a ladder so quickly. I nearly laughed out loud. There’s something comedic about a big fearless Mandalorian shying away from a women getting changed.
My mind began to wander but I quickly reeled it in, now was not the time to speculate things about my partner. I had a job to do.
It took longer than expected but I finally piqued the undivided interest of the young nobleman. He really was a shy one.
As expected he was immediately intimidated by any sort of forwardness. So I opted for a persona that was primarily sweetness and cuteness over something sultry and seductive.
Luckily for me this whole cutesy act also convinced most of the guards around him that I was no threat, in fact they probably thought I was an airhead to be quite frank.
“Any day now.” Mando said over the com.
Shut the fuck up and let me do my job was what I wanted to say but for the sake of not getting on my intimidating partners bad side I opted instead for a softly whispered “I’m working on it”.
I’m quite the conversationalist, my entire career depended on it. So in no time I had the nobleman’s son waving off his guards as I led him upstairs to my ‘room’.
Unfortunately for him my room was a dusty back alley where I pressed a concealed blaster between his shoulder blades.
“Make this easy for me will you and keep quiet and walk forward.”
“B-but I thought—“
“You thought wrong now walk.”
I nudged him with the blaster and he moved forward.
“Okay Mando what’s the clearest path?”
“Incoming, you’ve got two guards on your tail.”
Shit.
“Okay don’t shoot just yet you’ll alert the rest of them.”
Mando was about to say something else but was cut off by shouting.
“Hey unhand him!”
Just my luck.
“Take one step forward and your client gets his heart blown out of his chest!” I snarled spinning around yanking the Mon Calamari in front of me.
“Listen to her!!!” He hoarsely cried out.
For a few breathless seconds we stood there staring each other down.
“A little help” I softly whispered into the com.
“I’m working on it.” I heard a grunt over the com over the sound of blaster fire.
Shit shit shit.
Suddenly there was rustling near one of the hired guns.
Something poked its head out from behind a trash can... a kid?
One of the hired guns noticed as well and I saw a spark light up in their eyes.
They wouldn’t dare.
Quicker then the kid could react the man snatched the him up pressing a blaster against the child’s temple.
“Let the Mon Calamari go or the kid gets it.”
“You wouldn’t—“
“I’m fucking serious bitch!”
The kid let out a cry of pain as the man shoved the blaster even harder against his skull.
“Okay okay! I’ll let him go.”
I was a lot of bad things, but I wasn’t the kind of bad that let an innocent child get killed.
“Drop your blaster too!” He spat.
I lowered my blaster and dropped it to the ground, kicking it away from me.
Krath made a mad dash and as soon as he left my side the hired gun turned his blaster on me and fired.
I anticipated the action and dove behind a broken crate. Yet despite my invasive action I still felt a sharp pain over the top of my hip as a blaster bolt grazed past.
Backup had come for the hired guns and they were shooting from all sides.
All I could do was huddle up behind the meager cover I had and pray that today wasn’t the day.
Then all the sudden the blaster fire was redirected, I risked a glance over the crate and saw mercenary after mercenary disintegrated before my eyes.
Now was my chance.
I leapt for my blaster and dashed after Krath who had a small posey surrounding him as they ran presumably to their escape craft.
I exchanged multiple shots, I even managed to take one of the guards down. But in the end they had a head start and easily made it to their ship in time.
I let out a frustrated cry as I shot multiple times at the ship, blaster bolts ricocheting everywhere.
“Fuck!” I screamed as the ship roared skywards.
Apparently I was causing quite the commotion as everyone in the entire shipyard was staring at me.
“The fuck are you looking at!” I glowered at those around me who swiftly resumed what they were doing.
Then the thought suddenly occurred to me.
My partner was back in the alley dealing with the rest of the hired guns.
I sure hope he isn’t dead I thought as I sprinted back to the alley.
As I rounded the the corner all I saw was sheer carnage. The alley was littered with bodies and ragged clothes(presumably the remains of the disintegrated). I was half expecting to find the Mandalorian among them when I head a voice behind him.
“I’m guessing he got away.”
I spun around pointing my blaster in the direction of the voice.
“Whoa whoa! It’s me!” The Mandalorian said with his hands up, a slight tone of panic in his modulated voice.
“Oh sorry.” I say as I lowered my blaster.
He did all this?
All the sudden my fear of the Mandalorian increased.
“And as much as it pains me to say it... yes he got away.”
I couldn’t meet his gaze and I mentally prepared myself for some sort of barrage of insults, maybe even death, but none came.
“You’re bleeding.” That smooth rich voice said.
In another circumstance, where I wasn’t completely humiliated, it would have been nice to hear that soothing voice concerned in a round about way.
I looked down at my hip and sure enough the fabric there was soaked with blood.
I signed deeply, I really did not need another scar.
“Let’s head back to the ship, you can patch yourself up there while I track where the bounty is going.”
He walked past me, not checking to see if I followed.
I stood there for a few moments collecting myself, it seems like bad luck is following me.
On the way back to the ship the Mandalorian surprised me with a question, or in this case it was really more of a statement.
“You’re not a bounty hunter are you.”
My heart skipped a beat.
I could flat out deny it, I’m a very good lier. I could say nothing... or I could come clean.
I was surprised by my own decision.
“No. I’m not.”
A heavy sigh was the response I got.
I suddenly felt the urge to justify myself.
“I’m an assassin, close enough to a bounty hunter...”
“But not the same thing” we both said at once.
I looked up at him but he was just staring straight ahead.
“Killing is easy enough, I never imagined keeping a bounty alive would be hard.” I admitted.
“Next time I’m wrangling the bounty.” He said and I could of sworn there was a hint of amusement in his voice.
For some reason I was determined to prove that won’t be necessary.

12 Days of Shobbs: Day 9- Gingerbread
Summary: This is a serious of prompts following the relationship between Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw through the twelve days of Christmas.
Day 8           Day 10
On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
“Hobbs! Report!” Little Nobody anxiously demanded over the com link.
“I’m fine. Heading to the rendezvous point as we speak,” Luke  responded calmly.
Standing on top of the building he had been sniping on, Luke could see the whole shipping yard they had tracked their target to. However, it seemed like the target had known they would be coming, because from where Luke’s vantage point, he could see the eight buildings that had been blown up, right on top of the team.
Luke stood still, looking over the debris and rubble where the buildings had been, hoping beyond hope that everyone on the team had made. Listening, Little Nobody called out to everyone, receiving a confirmation from almost everyone on the team, except:
“Shaw! Report!”
“Alive and kicking,” Shaw said. And Luke could feel his body relax slightly from just hearing the other man’s voice. Raising his binoculars to his face, Luke tried to track the team’s cars, but could only spot Roman’s and Brian’s. They were carefully making their way around the collapsed buildings and towards the others who couldn’t get around the wreckage.
Everything was still, until a ninth cracking boom echoed across the shipyard. Whipping his head towards the sound, Luke was just in time to see explosion after explosion engulf a ninth building.
“Shit! I-” Deckard shouted into the com link, the explosions almost masking his voice.
“Shaw!” Luke screamed. Frantically, he tried to see where the man was through his binoculars, but it was impossible. He had no idea where Deckard had been in association with the currently collapsing building.
“Shaw! Are you all right?” Little Nobody demanded.
There was no response.
Luke felt his heart stop.
“I’m going in,” he barked into the com link and rushed towards the door leading back down into the building he had been standing on top of.
“Hobbs, it’s too dangerous! You need to wait until the debris settles,” Little Nobody begged, his voice on the edge of panic.
“I don’t care! I’m getting him out,” Luke growled into the com and ignored the frantic yelling from the rest of the team as he rushed down the stairs, almost out of the building by then.
He ran into the exit door, slamming it open so hard, he could hear a sharp crack as it flew into the wall next to it. Staying in his full blown sprint, Luke turned on his heel and towards the last building to fall. It was almost a quarter of a mile away, but that didn’t stop him from running the whole time.
Shit, shit! Please be ok. For the love of god, please be ok! Luke chanted to himself, as fear gripped his heart. Images of Deckard completely crushed under rubble kept springing into Luke’s mind, and forcing him to increase his speed even more.
He was almost to the where the last building was, when a weak voice came over the com link.
“Anyone there…?” Deckard coughed out.
The link exploded with everyone talking over each other, all demanding confirmation that Deckard was alive.
“Everyone, shut up!” Luke shouted over the com. “Deckard! Where are you?”
“Not sure,” he responded, his voice growing weaker.
“Deckard, I need you to stay awake. I’m here. I can help get you out,” Luke said firmly. “Tell me what you can see.”
What felt like hours-- but later Luke discovered took no more than half an hour-- Luke and Deckard talked quietly to each other. Gently, Luke was able to coax as many details as he could from Deckard, while also making sure the other man was awake. Slowly, Luke was able to find a rough idea of where Deckard was under the rubble. The rest of the team had shown up at some point, and helped search through the rubble, but ultimately they went unnoticed by Luke. All of his attention was on Deckard’s labored breathing and breathy voice.
“Stop!” Deckard panted out suddenly. Freezing, Luke waited. “I can see sunlight!”
And just like that, Luke was picking up debris at an almost inhuman speed, desperately trying to find any trace of Deckard. He nearly let out a sob when a hand finally wiggled itself up from the debris and reaching out towards safety. Luke fell to his knees as he took the hand in his, and used the other to pull the remaining bits of rock off Deckard.
In just a matter of minutes, the team had Deckard unearthed. Luke couldn’t believe his eyes: while Deckard was covered in dust, and still coughing from where it had gotten into his lungs, he looked relatively fine. The only injury Luke could obviously see was the cut on the side of Deckard’s head.
Without even thinking, Luke pulled on Deckard’s hand and maneuvered the smaller man until he was practically in  Luke’s lap and head resting on Luke’s shoulder. With a shaky hand, Luke cupped Deckard’s face, and brushed the dust off Deckard’s cheek with his thumb.
“Please never do that again,” he whispered, his voice nearly breaking.
“Don’t tell me what to do,” Deckard mumbled back before passing out. Clutching Deckard to his chest, Luke knew he was going to be just fine.
~~~
Snapping his head up three days later, Luke saw Deckard slowly making his way towards the kitchen, having to hold onto the wall for support.
“Woah, there,” Luke warned. Quickly, he was out of his seat at the kitchen counter and at Deckard’s side. “You shouldn’t be up yet.”
“I can do what I want,” Deckard said, but there was no heat in his voice. He simply sounded tired.
Not wanting to argue, Luke gently put his hand on the small of Deckard’s back and led him into the kitchen.
“Sam, you remember Deckard, right?” Luke said as he helped the other man into a seat next to Sam.
“Of course! You helped save the world with my dad!” Sam excitedly said, almost vibrating.
“That I did. Although, I would say that he helped me,” Deckard chuckled, throwing Luke a smirk.
“Don’t start something you can’t finish,” Luke warned, but his threat lost its effect with the smile he had on his face.
“Wouldn’t imagine it,” Deckard smiled back. Looking around, his eyebrows raised in surprise. “Are you trying to recreate our last mission with gingerbread?”
All over the kitchen counter were broken pieces of gingerbread, a few gingerbread houses half made, and other pieces with frosting on them to look like fire.
“Well, Sam volunteered to make gingerbread houses for her class, but then decided that it needed a theme,” Luke started and sent an amused look in Sam’s direction, who’s smile showed almost all her teeth. “So, she decided on Godzilla.”
“It’s going to be so awesome!” Sam cheerfully said. “I can’t wait to see everyone’s face!”
“It definitely is something different,” Deckard commented. “But is it the Japanese Godzilla or the American?”
“There’s a difference?” Sam asked, her eyes huge with curiosity.
“Is there a difference? Of course there is!” Deckard laughed. “The new Japanese Godzilla has laser coming out of his back.”
Sam gasped. “Dad! Can my Godzilla have lasers too?”
“I don’t see why not,” Luke laughed. “But why do you know so much about Godzilla?”
“Hattie never really got out of her ‘giant monsters destroying cities’ phase,” Deckard shrugged.
“I’m not really surprised,” Luke said.
For the rest of the afternoon, the three created worked on the gingerbread city, and Luke couldn’t imagine a better way to spend it.
… Nine buildings exploding
Eight racers a-racing
Seven criminals a-stealing
Six missiles incoming
Five grenades!
Four stab wounds
Three fast cars
Two loaded guns
And a punch to the face!
DIVERSION; knj Oneshot (M)
Author’s Note(s): Lmao what is smut? Clearly, we can’t write it (we tried) HA ( ³⌓³).
Namjoon was occupied with keeping track of the shipment of weapons and members going in-and-out of their safe place. They were popping out of their cave-like hideout at a rate he knew that one slip up could make all of the difference. He and his crew had been roaming the public streets with little to no conflict for years now, and the last thing he wanted was to do was begin a bad reputation for himself. Being one of the well-known mobsters in the community, he had to ensure his enemies that he was the serious deal. For example: using his power and leverage to threaten others (and easily getting his way).
He recently made peace with one mob in another area. While they’re known as the Rising Suns―and Namjoon’s Jaded Dragons―somehow the two had been caught in a brawl with each other. It may have been due to both of their father’s and their underlying conflicts; that clearly taking a toll for the worst. Now, they’ve come up front with the situation, face-to-face, and decided to openly speak about it. The so-called “meeting” couldn’t have gone any better too. Namjoon was frank, leaving the other leader engaged. Facts were laid down before they shook their hands. On the other hand, though, the entire conflict wasn’t entirely solved, but it was a start. They both hoped each other for the best future endeavors.
While the previous interaction was still replaying in his mind, he wanted to find if there were any hints that seemed a little off. He was always taught to keep his guard up. And as he was letting his mind run, he caught himself watching you from the distance. He quietly observed you as you walked around, making sure there was nothing suspicious going on around you, but you didn’t know that. You were simply minding your own business: staying in check, reassuring you held a secure spot on his team. While you are apart of his group, known as the diversion, he made sure to keep an extra eye on you; especially since you were one of the few females that was exposed on mission grounds. To say he was protective was an understatement. His gaze followed you no matter where you went; until the sound of someone’s throat clearing snapped him back to reality.
“Hey boss,” Yoongi spoke. “They finally finished with the shipment, but their leader wants to have a little chat with you. His words, not mine.”
Namjoon found that unsurprising. After the major deal that the two finally accomplished getting passed, he only expected a one or two more interactions concerning where they stood. As he gazed to his employee, he made it seem like he was giving Yoongi his full attention. But actually, his eyes made their ways passed his head to take a look at you. Before officially diverting his attention to the other male before him, he let out a sigh and reluctantly nodded.
“Alright,” Namjoon began. “Thank you for informing me.”
Just before he thought that his acquaintance would make his way to his other duties, he was stopped by the sound, of what seemed like, a suppressed laugh. His eyes shot back at the being and furrowed his brows. It was nothing to hide when Namjoon was upset; but when it came to Yoongi, they acted more-so like brothers who constantly teased each other.
“Stop checking her out while you’re at it,” he snickered, nodding at your presence from the distance.
Yoongi then acted fast and walked away from Namjoon before he could respond to his little comment. Typical. He glanced over at you one last time, knowing he should be focused on someone else that was actually waiting for him, or really did acknowledge his existence. When you caught his eyes for one second, he motioned you to follow along to the meeting. Finally, as he gained all of his willingness to leave you out of his sight, he headed for the front gate of the hideout. Everyone was already gathered around the exit, keeping an eye on the opposing gang members. While anything could still go downhill, or this may be a ploy to just get The Jaded Dragons to simmer down, Namjoon and his gang knew that gameplay all too well. Namjoon then walked up to the leader and firmly shook his hand.
“So this will be the end of our war,” the man smiled, letting his eyes wander around everyone before Namjoon.
“And I look forward to what the future holds for the both of us,” Namjoon responded, crossing his arms over his broad chest.
“Let us know if you need anything. Don’t be afraid to ask.”
“Same goes for you,” Namjoon reassured.
He was decently pleased with their easy going conversation. Although the tension in the air could be cut with a blade, their offered favors made the atmosphere just a tad bit lighter. Everything was going smoothly and Namjoon had hope for their partnership so far, and he prayed that this would be something to last.
“Perfect…” he trailed off, letting his eyes trail over to you. Once he nodded in your direction, Namjoon glanced at you. “So is that girl available?”
As you were caught in the mix, you rolled your eyes at the comment. You didn’t know whether he was being funny or not, but you had to take any words―that came from anyone but your boss―seriously, on the level of enemies. As you divert your attention from the opposing team’s leader, you had to make up your time by letting your eyes wander around.
Namjoon’s eyes immediately darkened though, and you have yet to notice that. The rest of the people surrounding you both had definitely taken in his protective aura.
“My crew is never an option,” he stated, his eyebrows furrowed towards the center of his forehead.
“I’m kidding of course,” the man chuckled as he jokingly put his hands up.
After a few more words were exchanged before the male and his crew left the area. Namjoon let out a long sigh and dismissed everyone. Byes were exchanged between people while you gave Yoongi a quick hug goodbye and gave a small wave to Namjoon before you left to go home as well. Both of the two males just watched you gradually disappear out of sight.
“She gives you a hug while I just receive a small gesture,” Namjoon complained.
“You like her,” Yoongi stated.
“No, I don’t. I just think it’s unfair; especially when I’m her boss.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes and patted Namjoon on the shoulder before leaving. There really wasn’t anything that he could think to do at this point. All Yoongi knew was they Namjoon was someone who would always get what he desired.
You got called in by Namjoon and headed for his office. Normally, you didn’t have a problem whenever he summons for you, but after the whole ordeal with the other gang leader, you didn’t know how to feel. You tried convincing yourself that he was just really protective of his crew and not just you. He was your leader and you were just his subordinate. Finally reaching the door that led to his office, you knocked in a certain pattern to let him know it was you. You heard a faint ‘come in’ before opening the door for yourself and giving him a respectful bow.
“You called?”
“Yes. I have a mission for you,” Namjoon informed.
“I’m all ears.”
Namjoon loved that part of you. You never hesitated to take a mission; always keeping your mind open for him. Not to mention that your confidence is one of the key points that got you into his crew in the first place. You were thankful for that.
“We need you to be bait,” he checked your facial expression before continuing on. “There’s a huge event being held at the Emerald casino, and many powerful people are going to attend. You’re going to distract our target while we try to sneak Trazodone into his drink. He’s been cutting off our funds by threatening our sponsors. We’re just going to scare him a little.”
“Alright, just let me know when everything is set up,” you replied, shrugging at the simplistic mission.
You were dismissed after he told you to wait for the signal. As you were about to open the door, Yoongi pushed it open, causing you to be taken aback. The two of you briefly greeted each other before you headed out to prepare yourself for the upcoming mission. Right after you had removed yourself from his office, Namjoon debriefed Yoongi about the mission.
“So you’re going to make her seduce the target?” Yoongi gawked, knowing damn well that the idea didn’t sit well with Namjoon, himself.
“Yeah, problem?”
“You know we can just call Hoseok to snipe him down right?”
“I’m trying to prove a point.”
“Which is?” Yoongi asked with one brow raised.
“That I hold no feelings towards her whatsoever.”
There was a long pause before Yoongi lost his shit. His laughter could be heard through the thick walls, and poor Namjoon had to sit there in embarrassment. The only thing he thought to do was ignore it, making sure he wasn’t giving the kind of reaction Yoongi was looking for. With that, he assigned Yoongi to hold a position on the rooftops; just in case there would be a mishap. As the two of them continued to talk about the plan, going through the process to make sure that nothing could go wrong. As dawn approached, they both exited the office to get themselves ready. The only goal in Namjoon’s head was to prove that you were nothing to him that was more than a partner in crime.
You waited in the limousine that Namjoon ordered for you. By doing this, it indicated that you were one of the people who have such significance to their presence. He told you that it was necessary for you to make a grand entrance to the casino. You looked out the window, and you saw many politicians making their way towards the building. The chauffeur pulled up to the front on the walkway, giving you a full view of the carpet. You adjusted your dress a bit before stepping out of the vehicle, the breeze hitting your skin once you were exposed to the outside; as well as the people who also paved way for the doors. As you walked down the pavement, you felt the gazes that followed you behind. It was Namjoon’s fault for providing you a dress that fully exposed your back and a bit of your cleavage. The dress hugged your body in all the right places; which gave you a headstart with your mission. This gave you great emotion to hold up a grand facade. You had to walk up straight to look more posh, proving that you had the confidence to enter by yourself.
The casino was filled with a sea of people. You had to converse with the attendees to make it seem like you belonged there. As you talked to casually them, you scanned around the area in search of your target. Namjoon mentioned to you that he would be wearing a snake-shaped pin on his right-hand side. As you were talking to the mayor, you spotted a man heading for the bar. To determine whether he was your target or not, you slithered passed people in order to get a full view of their attire. Just then, getting a full view of his right side, you saw the snake pin on his suit. Thankfully, the mayor didn’t mind you leaving halfway through the conversation. You looked over your shoulder and offered him a meaningful bow; which he then dismissed as no big deal.
You followed the man to the bar, but you kept your distance. He already had a drink in his hand, but he seemed bored. This was a perfect opportunity to entertain him for a bit. You casually walked up next to him and ordered a martini from the bar. As he drank some of his beverage, he looked at you from head-to-toe. You took a sip of your drink and let out a sad sigh to act like you’re disappointed about something.
“What the matter?” he asked.
In your head, you applauded for yourself for getting his attention just like that. If only Namjoon saw how smooth the operation was going so far. You flashed him a sad smile to add more effect to the act.
“My date ditched me to network with people,” you told, leaning your chin against the palm of your hand.
“I wouldn’t mind keeping you company, doll,” he winked, taking a good look at your overall physique.
You wanted to punch the guy at that very moment; especially because his throat was exceptionally accessible, but you acted delighted with his words. You pulled some flirtatious moves you learned from those cliche movies, like lip biting, twirling the ends of your hair, and even looking away to make it seem like he made you nervous.
Now that you’ve gotten his full attention, he placed his drink back onto the counter to face you. You hoped that one of your crewmates’ plans on sneaking the drug into his drink right about now. It was taking a little longer than you wanted it to, and you were irritated if you had to move it any further than this. As you guys fluently carried on the conversation, you saw a familiar figure move behind the male; their actions slick as they weaved through the crowd. Luckily, there weren’t many people around them to notice their hand hovering over the target’s drink. You watched as the pill dissolves into his drink, leaving the bubbles to rise up to the top. Once you noticed his eyes were at the beginning stages of suspicion, you wrapped your arms around his neck. By scooting closer in proximity to him, this was just to direct his attention to your facial features.
“You make great company,” you smirked, letting your eyes wander all over him. “How about I keep you company in your room tonight?”
The guy grinned widely and eagerly nodded. Of course, he wouldn’t think about what could possibly go wrong. He slid his arms around your waist and leaned in for a kiss, but you pressed your finger against his lips.
Did he really think you were that easy or was he just plain out stupid?
“Save it for later,” you hinted, praying that this comes to an end soon enough.
He released his hold on you and gulped down the remaining of his tampered drink. From this moment―in about ten minutes―he will pass out, you noted to yourself. When the two of you left the casino area, away from the public eye, you took your time to stall whenever you could. You would pretend that your shoe got caught in your dress or you would act a little tipsy from your martini, so you slowed your steps, gripping onto his suit to pull him back as well. It was almost funny with how impatient and frustrated he was easily getting.
Once the two of you left the elevator, you were beginning to worry. Seeing at the dings passing each floor increased, there was a chance that he was on the upper-most floor. You were trained to not be stressed in situations like these, but there was no sign of him getting drowsy. He took out his hotel key and made his way towards his room. The door made a beeping noise to indicated that it was unlocked. He held the door out for you and you walked into the room while observing every inch with every step. Sure, you had faith in your team, but the moment you noticed no one was following you two, your doubts were at an all-time high. You looked both left and right, and you hadn’t seen anyone in sight. To calm yourself, you closed your eyes as you made your way into the room.
You sat on the edge of the king-sized bed and leaned back to put your weight into your hands. As you held yourself up, you watched intently as he peeled off his blazer. Since you were still on the job, you were sure to keep your role in check. And when he began to unbutton his shirt, you debated if you should kick him in the balls and make a run for it. You gulped down your aggression before he dared speak further.
“We’re here to have some fun tonight, doll,” he attempted to seduce.
Just as he got to the last button on his shirt undone, there was a knock on the door. He groaned, losing his last bit of patience. After putting up with your act, he just wanted to get in your pants. The look in his eyes was hungry, and boy did you want to take the mission into your own hands. As he shuffled towards the entrance, he let out another annoyed sigh while covering up a decent amount of his torso. He disappeared out of your sight, but you began to relax into your seat when you heard a pained grunt, followed by a loud thud against the carpet. You quickly got up from your seated position and put your fists up in preparation for combat. But as soon as Namjoon came into your line of sight, you sighed in relief.
“Do you mind helping me clean up the mess?” he rhetorically asked.
“Do I even have a choice?” you amused.
Namjoon took some rope and duct tape from his belt already prepared to tie up the man. The two of you then dragged the unconscious body into the bathroom and left him on the cold floor. You knew that knocking him out while he had already ingested a drug would be a double whammy, so there was no chance that he’d wake up anytime soon, according to Namjoon. As you observed your superior, you also noticed the veins still prominent―from the single punch―through his skin. You examined his physical properties as he turned to shut the door. You shook your head to avoid looking distracted from your own boss’s attractiveness. It was against the rules, and you didn’t want to risk it; especially since you were on a crucial mission. Instead, you grabbed a chair and placed it against the handle to create a type of mechanism. It was to suggest that you had a general idea of what to do.
“Great job Y/N,” he complimented. “You did well.”
“Thanks, Joon,” you smiled. “Now I can go home and disinfect myself.”
With those words, it ignited something within him, causing a stir in his emotions. He went from stoke to frustrated in a blink. His hands balled into fists; which directed your attention to them as his sides. You were puzzled at first, and you would’ve asked him what was wrong; but when you felt yourself stumbling back because of him. You looked up to see that he caged you between his firm stature and the wall. You were surprised at the sudden act; especially because his hooded eyes underlined something like envy. It was the side of Namjoon you hadn’t encountered before, and you were sure that there was a reason for that. The way your heart was pounding was already distracting you from your thoughts. It was difficult for you to think correctly when his face was that in contiguity to yours.
“Is something wro-” you began.
“I saw you two,” he interrupted. “I was watching, and it pissed me the fuck off. Tell me, Y/N: where did he touch you?”
“Wait… You were the one who put the pill in his drink? I thought that was someone else was-”
“Forget about that and answer that damn question, Y/N.”
You were slightly intimidated by his dark aura. Usually, you’d see your boss as someone strict, but this was opposing.
“Just my waist,” you answered nervously. “It’s really no big deal, Namjoon.”
His hands made their way to your sides and you shivered. Pleased with your reaction, he pulled you in to close the gap between you two. You then looked into his darkened eyes, that were clearly full of lust, and you felt your knees buckle below you. He brought his hand up to your chin and leaned in for a kiss with his index finger and thumb guiding yours. At first, you stood there with your eyes wide in shock, but his lips were soft. You never thought you’d want them to leave yours. But when you felt that he was about to pull away, you quickly acted upon it by cupping your hands around the back of his neck to hold him still. And he was obviously surprised by your gesture, not expecting you to desire it as much as he did. Two can play it that way.
The kisses became more intense and sloppier as you both let your hands roam. He slowly led you to the bed with his mouth still on yours. You felt his hand travel to your back; until he found the zipper of your dress and pulled it down, leaving your bare back exposed. Just before you got on the bed, you let him drag the dress down your body―along with your black laced underwear―fall from your torso and onto the floor. Both of your eyes glanced down, but only Namjoon’s dared to stray even further. You peeked up at him, seeing that his tongue ran over his lips with excitement.
“No bra?” he questioned, raising an eyebrow and a lingering smile.
Before you could reply to him, you felt his body heat in your bubble. He gently pushed you onto the bed, and you landed back with your elbows digging into the white sheets. They were cold and uncomfortable, but the burn of his stare kept you warmer when you caught it. Even though you were still nervous, you knew it was out of pure anticipation.
“I’ve always wanted to do this,” he spoke as his hands glided down the curves of your physique.
His touch was warm and reassuring; which made your eyes trail down to where his skin touched your own. Goosebumps laid across your skin, praying that he would stop stalling and get going. His body hovered over yours and captured your lips once again. It was a chaste kiss, and you wanted it to last longer; but when you felt the fabric of his shirt, you knew you had to do something about it. If he left you like that, you felt like it like it was only fair for you to undress him as well. After you broke away from the kiss, your fingertips danced from a button to button on the way down his front side. By finishing your task of undoing the last one, you helped him out even further by pushing it off of his shoulders. You took the matter into your own hands to toss it somewhere, making sure it wasn’t something that could get in the way. As soon as you caught each other’s eyes again, his lips instantly reattached to yours. You two moved in sync with one another while you let his hands gradually wrap around your wrists. By feeling the dominance building up with his frustration, he immediately took control of your actions. Before you could make any further movements or gestures, he held your hands over your head, leaving him in charge of what was to happen next.
“Did you like it when he touched you, slut?”
“N-No.”
“No?” Namjoon mocked, hinting that he yearned for something more.
“No,” you repeated while feeling the next round of shivers running down your exposed skin. “Daddy.”
He then smirked at the nickname; feeling impressed with your ability to take the guess.
“Say it one more time for me baby girl,” he whispered into your ear.
Before you could comply with his request, you felt his other hand glide down your body. You watched his every move as if you could do what you pleased to him, but he was already nearing your heated core. You bit the bottom of your lip, trying not to let out a moan this early. The grin on his face was evident when he saw you squirm beneath him, knowing he had you in the palm of his hands. You then stared at his touch with your lips parting for the impatient sigh. You hated how much a minimal touch from him could do to you, but you also enjoyed experiencing his reaction. As he pressed his fingers against your clit, he began to rub in circular motions. You could tell that he knew what he was doing when he hummed out a single tone. While his touch eased into you, his eyes gazed up to your face with a curious brow. All he wanted was to see more reaction out of you.
“I didn’t hear you say it yet,” he taunted.
“D-Daddy,” you stuttered, a greater flush of red prominent across the apples of your cheeks.
Satisfied with your obedience, he rewarded you by inserting two fingers inside of you and beginning to pump in and out, keeping his pace gentle and slow. Though his motions were unhurried, your eyes eventually rolled back from pleasure. The room was filled with the sound of your moans; which was practically music to his ears. You didn’t even think to note the walls and their thickness, but then again, that was the least of your worries.
“You’re so wet,” he hissed with his attention focusing on your center. “Did he turn you on that much?”
You were shocked at his words, and you didn’t hesitate to shake your head. If anything, you thought that any of your answers would possibly cause him to stop and tease you.
“Use your words, slut.”
“No,” you yelped. “For you... I’m so w-wet for you.”
As he continued to find pleasure with your honesty, he proceeded to draw circles with his fingers against your sensitive spot. Occasionally you would arch your back, hoping he would give you some kind of ease out of his grip. It was no use; seeing as the strength in his one hand remained unmoved. Although the pleasure was amazing, you’d also find yourself closing your legs around his hand from the remarkable amount of sensation.
“Keep ‘em open from me, baby,” he demanded, his hot breath hitting the crook of your neck.
“I need y-you,” you said, trying to break out of his hold. “Please.”
He didn’t let you touch him from the beginning, and you thought too highly if you would get that chance. When he felt you fight against his hold, an idea set off in his head. He moved away from you and unbuckled his belt. You sat up nervously, wondering what he was going to do to you. As the belt passed through the final loop of his slacks, he advanced towards you and placed his knee in between your legs.
“Are you okay with me using this?” he wondered, adjusting the belt in his hands, feeling a little unsure of how you would react.
While being embarrassed, you were also open-minded. With that, you just nodded your head, not minding the idea at all. In fact, you were excited; especially because you were going to experience it with someone who you trusted. One thing you couldn’t help but think about was the way he cared about how you felt. If anything, you felt more relaxed at the thought of that. As he shuffled behind you, the sound of the metal frame rang in your ears. Once he made his way around you, you knew you couldn’t help but let your eyes wander after him. The way he slowly made his way to your backside and worked his fingertips to trace over your wrists drove you absolutely crazy. He was gentle while the fastener was tightened: just enough to restrain you from freeing yourself.
When he finished the job, you saw Namjoon move back to the edge of the bed. He stood before you as he fumbled with the button of his pants. All you could do was watch him, your eyes fighting your thoughts of doing it for him. Out of habit, you closed your legs tightly, showing him how the ache between your legs caused you such agitation. As you glanced up to him, you noticed how he motioned you to get on your knees.
“Knees. Now,” he demanded.
You froze at his booming command. Eventually, you gathered the courage to obey him. Once you did, you looked up passed your eyelashes and waited until he did something. Since your hands were tied behind your back, he grabbed onto his waistband and pulled down his boxer-briefs. In awe, you followed his cock as it sprang out right in front of you. You licked your lips already wanting to get a taste of him. But without trying to get too ahead of yourself, you waited for any other instructions.
“Suck.”
You swallowed down your nerves and proceeded to wrap your mouth around his tip. You wanted to start off little by little, still making sure you watched his reactions. As you gradually took in his entire member into your mouth, you let his cock hit the back of your throat once. From then on, you began to bob your head back and forth. His moans could be heard throughout the room, and you felt your confidence rise with that assurance. He then grabbed a fist full of your hair to hold you steady, preventing you from going anymore. That’s when he decided to take the scene into his own hands and began to thrust into your mouth. You could feel his cock hit the back of your throat with every jolt forward. You tried not to gag, but you couldn’t stop the tears from forming at the corner of your eyes. As he pulled his cock out of your mouth completely, you hissed in to make sure not too much saliva wouldn’t escape onto the carpet. Seeing you like the mess you were, he let out one last moan as he felt that he was going to cum.
“You’re nothing but a cockslut to me,” he insulted, holding up your chin with his index finger.
He pulled you by the arm to lead you to the couch. He plopped down on the cushion and pulled you onto his lap. With his help, you placed your knees on each side of his legs with your entrance already aligned with his hard cock. You slowly lowered your weight onto his member to let the tip pass your folds. Still, with your hands tied behind your back, you felt your fingers twitch with frustration. You just wanted to take him under your control. It was almost as if he were teasing you when he just sat back and watched you concentrate all by yourself. All while you were doing as you desired, Namjoon tilted his head off to the side to get a fuller view of his cock slipping into you.
“Fuck,” he breathed. “Keep going…”
With no other ands, ifs, or buts, you paced yourself to take all of him in. Still sinking yourself, you knew your jaw would slack open from the wave of lightning down your spine. Even with your great balance on top of him, there were times you felt surges of pleasure out of nowhere; which then you would begin shaking. You hadn’t even started pleasing him to the fullest by increasing your speed and showing your potential; yet, you felt as if you could melt. Not only was the atmosphere around the both of you swallowing the tension, but the sudden feeling of his warmth running along your sides drew you to let out a suppressed sigh. Now feeling back of your thighs touch the top of his, you peered over your lower appendage to watch his cock disappear and reappear in and out of your pussy.
As you continued with your mediocre pace, the strands of your hair fell in your vision. But when you realized you couldn’t help yourself with it, you tried to flick it off to the side to get the view. Namjoon eventually saw that as a cue to assist you. He grazed his hand across your shoulder blade to push it away for you. Once you could see him clearly in your view once more, you shot him a devious smirk, biting down on your bottom lip. Gladly, he granted you a smile of his own. With his hands snaking around your waist to pull closer. You made a spur of the moment decision to test the waters and roll your hips. You saw that he had thrown his head back with great pleasure. It was a true feeling of triumph and gladness to see that you made him that way. If you wanted to, you could take that reaction for granted and go even further. When you were about to alter your movements into something more effective, you heard his deep tone complimenting you.
“You ride Daddy’s cock so well.”
“Only for you,” you responded with your pace still similar.
“Don’t stop baby.”
You would try to stop yourself every now and then to make sure you wouldn’t cum without his permission. It was just the feeling you got from Namjoon: the dominance and order he wanted things to run. By just looking at him, you could feel the high in the pit of your stomach bubbling within you. As you felt the pressure increasing in your pelvis, you unconsciously slowed your pace down. It was gradual, and you didn’t think he would take notice of it. But there was a halfway point from stopping completely that you closed your eyes. You felt your breath getting heavier as you lazily pleased him. Just before you could conjure up the rest of your remaining energy, you felt your legs tremble above him, causing a sudden stop with your deed. It was like you hadn’t gotten even a second to take a breath. At that split moment, the feeling of his fingers digging into your skin made your eyes shoot open. You glanced down to yourself before he decided to abruptly thrust into you. You were glad that he took charge of the rest, but you didn’t know how much longer you could hold up.
“F-Fuck, D-Daddy,” you stuttered. “It feels s-so good.”
And then, after you praised him in the slightest, a chorus of differently pitched grunts exerted passed his lips.
“Beg for Daddy,” he groaned, making sure his pace didn’t sway.
“P-Please, Daddy,” you whined, as your body began to weaken.
“Use your words and tell me what you want, slut.”
“Fuck m-me,” you begged, rolling your hips once more to show how much you wanted him so bad. “I want you to fuck me so hard...”
He gritted his teeth when you did that.
“I’m gonna fuck you until you can’t walk, baby girl.”
He couldn’t hold himself back anymore. Instead of staying on the couch, he needed something bigger to make sure you could undergo the best. All of the sudden, his thrusts had stopped, and the next thing you knew, you were being lifted up. He hooked his hands behind your thighs; which caused you to let out a squeal as he carried you to the bed. With his cock still inside you, you let out a postponed moan.
Only seconds after, your back hit the bed, where you initially were. The shadow of his silhouette was hovering to take in a full view of you. Thinking that he would carry on with a missionary position, he grabbed one of your legs and placed on top of his shoulder. You lifted your head to take a look at the intimate position he put the both of you in. Just by the sight of how vulnerable you were between the bed and him caused you to release another loud moan; which sounded more like a scream. Taking that his cue, he began to thrust deeper into you, not taking any second for granted. Once he started, it was like your entire body was being pushed into the mattress with no remorse. You just felt his cock continuously hitting your g-spot, not missing a single turn. There were no words for the amazement; instead, your head sinking into the cushion.
“I-I’m gonna cum,” you barely uttered.
Due to how aroused you were, every inch of your body fell weaker, and you could feel the pit of your stomach reach your limit. His pace was brutal, leaving no more room for you to breathe.
“Cum all over Daddy’s cock,” he groaned, letting his pace slow down; therefore, making each of his last thrusts count.
“F-Fuck, D-Daddy!” you screamed.
You felt yourself instantaneously let yourself go when he pushed himself inside of you and staying there. Just as you thought it was over, you felt a sharp tug on your hair. Your entire face was pulled forward as he assertively spoke to you.
“I’m not done with you yet,” he huffed. “I still need to cum inside of you.”
Before you could answer him, your thoughts were interrupted when he flipped you over. With your back and tied wrists facing him, his dick easily slipped inside of you. You could hear the wet noises coming from your soaked pussy every time he thrust into you. Your entire core was over sensitive after already cumming, and you could feel your center becoming heated all over again. The break between your high and him continuing was enough to get you moaning even louder and consistently.
“Already cumming again?” he jeered.
Since you wanted to take in all of the pleasure you could, it was hard for you to answer him. All you could remember was letting out your pleased tones with every push and pull he had in him. And once he grabbed your hips and pulled you onto him, he cursed under his breath. That’s when his pace and strength increased, controlling your body in his hands. As if you thought that was the furthest he could go, you were wrong. You could feel him getting deeper into your pussy; and luckily the ache between your legs fading when you clenched around his cock, finding that to be something to aid you with the overstimulation. As he let out a groan though, he continued to pound into you, but your stamina wasn’t good enough to keep that trick going. He knew the pleasure was so much for you to bear; especially when he saw your hands balling into fists behind you. It was when your knuckles turned into a paler tone that he barely decreased his speed.
“I w-want you to f-fill me up with your cum… ” you moaned, your cheek pressed against the sheets.
“You want to be Daddy’s cumslut now?” he hummed.
Without waiting for an answer, Namjoon leaned over you. He was slipping his hand in front of your pussy to stimulate you even more. With your clit being rubbed and his thick cock both doing their job, you knew you were close once again.
“Scream for Daddy,” Namjoon whispered into your ear. “I want him to hear who you belong to.”
“Fuck!” you shouted. “Oh my- I’m gonna cum again!”
“I want him to hear who you belong to… Louder.”
“F-Fuck, N-Namjoon!” you shouted even louder as you released onto his cock.
Right when he heard his name come out of your mouth, that was his cue to release at the same time. He loved it whenever you said his name; especially in this kind of scenario of course. As his pace slowed down, you relaxed your entire being on the bed. You knew that you were unintentionally cursing more than usual, but they came in whispers. Once you could feel him pull out while hearing his breathlessness, you sighed. Right when you lazy looked over your shoulder, you felt his fingers fumbling with the restriction around your wrists.
You hadn’t realized how long you two were at it, but when you looked out passed the opaque curtains, you cleared your throat to note it. As you pushed yourself up from the bed, you sounded on your back again. Your eyes met the plain ceiling once you collected any of your thoughts. It was like Namjoon drained you completely, but you weren’t complaining. And when he helped you get back onto your feet, he didn’t think twice about grabbing your attire and getting you ready before dressing himself. It was thoughtful and unexpected out of him because the way he was acting during your rendezvous would say otherwise. It was the first time you two had expressed your attraction towards one another, and you were already wondering if it would affect on both of your work ethics.
When you opened your mouth to speak, the both of you heard muffled screams coming from the bathroom. Namjoon looked back at you with a shy sheepish smile; which you kindly returned. You held yourself in a hug as you also followed behind him.
Namjoon removed the chair from underneath the doorknob to open the door slowly. The man was wide awake, and you could see the terror in his eyes after he saw the two of you standing in the doorway. You were unfazed by the scene since it wasn’t out of the ordinary, but Namjoon walked up to the guy’s side and kneeled to make sure they were eye-level.
“I let you off easy this time, Mr. Yukimura,” Namjoon warned, giving his face light and playful slaps. “You don’t want to be caught again by me.”
The man didn’t move a muscle after hearing Namjoon’s threat. His expression displayed no mercy or remorse for the man; which was even more terrifying. Taking one last look at the male, both you and Namjoon left the scene and locked the bathroom door from the outside again. He let out a long sigh and rubbed his temples. You were still trying to regain your energy from the whole ordeal that just happened not too long ago.
After a couple of minutes, the two of you walked out and headed for the exit of the casino. Namjoon was silent; which made you worry. You trailed behind him, hoping to avoid confrontation for what had gone down not too long ago. The atmosphere between you two was making you anxious, and you were dreading the ride back to the hideout. You watched as he made a quick phone call for his chauffeur. You could hear the cars driving by and people chatting with each other, but Namjoon’s silence overpowered the noises. You stood behind him, making sure he was still within your reach.
What felt like hours, with the burning silence, was only minutes when the car came into view. You silently screamed in your head because you weren’t ready to face the awkwardness that was about to come. Namjoon opened the door for you, his head hung low, and you slid onto the black leather seating. Before Namjoon could enter, you made sure you sat as close as you could to the door. And when he did enter the vehicle, the chauffeur raised up the partition and started driving. You knew this is the perfect opportunity to talk about what happened, but you’re stubborn. You simply crossed your leg over the other and looked out of the tinted window.
“Was I that bad?” he spoke up nervously.
Your eyes widened at the comment. You turned your head around to see that Namjoon’s hands were in his lap. He was playing with his fingers and rings like someone shy: definitely not who you encounter in the hotel room. It was the first thing he said to you afterward, and you really could not believe what had just come out of his mouth.
“No!” you exclaimed, shaking your head with reassuring hands. “You just- you weren’t talking, so...”
“And you weren’t either.”
“Well shit,” you chuckled, your eyes wandering down as well.
There was a slight pause after your quick conversation. You both looked away, smiling about each other and then peek back at the same time. You felt your smile growing wider as Namjoon did the same, ending with both of you laughing. He reached over to you and casually pulled you onto his lap. You pressed your lips together and made sure to catch his eyes. When he looked up at you, he planted a quick kiss on your lips. There was a swarm of butterflies that appeared in your stomach to feel the gentle gesture. You wrapped your hands around his neck as you rested your forehead head against his. You could definitely get used to these moments with him.
“So you’re mine right?” he timidly asked.
“I thought we already established this in bed, no?” you smirked.
Tumblr media
You and Namjoon were monitoring the incoming shipment that came from the Rising Suns. You stayed by his side for the time being since there was nothing suspicious going on at the moment. And at the corner of your eye, you could see Yoongi approaching. He greeted the two of you and updated Namjoon about Mr. Yukimura and his escape from the hotel room. There were smiles that were exchanged, finding amusement with the event that took place. It was all the same thing just like how every day should be: organized and running smoothly. Since the incident, he never attempted anything that would harm the Jaded Dragons.
“I’m happy you guys finally got together, by the way,” Yoongi nodded approving. “But maybe turn your mic off next time, Joon.”
With that, he patted the boss’s back before walking out of the area as quick as he could. It seemed to always be a habit of his, making sure that Namjoon wouldn’t be able to say anything. You didn’t know how to react at first, but when you saw Namjoon looking right at you with his eyes wide open, the two of you exchanged glances, only for the both of you to turn away with humiliation.
“I feel bad for you,” you snickered, trying to mask your embarrassment. “Now everyone knows you have a Daddy kink.”
Scratch reflects on the aftermath of a difficult run involving Humanis. Unlike the rest of her team, she lost a lot more than she gained…
An Orichalcum and Silicon short story by BrossUno
——
Scratch had heard that any run you would walk away from was a successful one. Even if things went south. Even if a runner didn’t get exactly what they were hoping for, they could always try again. Slowly but surely they could claw their way out of whatever hole had tripped them up. The dead never had that luxury. If the hole turned out to be a grave that was their lot in life. They were just another runner fading away in the shadows the world would never know or care about.
But the old adage and philosophy bullshit didn’t help her in the least. She felt the anger and frustration simmering beneath her skin as she drove through downtown Seattle in her Americar. She had no idea where she was going. She already missed the days of heading down to the local junkyard with a sledgehammer and venting her rage on derelict machines left to rot.
Somehow she found her way down to a bar known as the Defiler Lounge. The clock read one in the morning but she was in no mood to sleep with a scrapped roto drone back at the garage. The entrance to the bar sat in a narrow alley that didn’t provide room for more than a motorcycle. She parked around the corner and made sure her medical mask and flat cap was on tight.
It wasn’t hard to find a reinforced door that had enough dents and burn patterns to show it had been put through the paces. A small neon sign next to it had not been so lucky and barely functioned. It looked like it had been broken and repaired a dozen times. Occasionally with a flicker it would display the name of the bar as all the letters lit up. Defiler Lounge.
Scratch had visited a few times before. The door wasn’t locked as she found a staircase on the other side of the threshold. It took her down to a basement area where she found another reinforced door and a forest of utility pipes servicing the buildings above. A human bouncer stood watch that she knew as Shorts. Everyone called him that on account he didn’t wear much else to show off his cyberlegs and what he considered muscles.
His lithe build didn’t fit the traditional image of a bouncer, but the shotguns built into his thighs loaded with non-lethal rounds allegedly helped him get around it. Or so he said. He also bragged he practiced Muay Thai, not that Scratch had ever seen him do anything more than mouth off when she visited. The sight of his black matted hair and broad smile didn’t help her mood at all.
“Ayyy, Scratch! Living the dream yet?” Shorts pointed.
He heaped on as much sarcasm as he could the moment he picked up on her sour mood. His raw confidence pissed her off.
“Eat shit.” She responded dryly.
“Oh yeah. You’ve come to the right place. Get in there!”
He ushered her inside even though she didn’t need the invitation. The fast talking little shit made motions like he was bringing in a plane to land. Luckily he didn’t say anything more. After the last job she wasn’t in the mood to put up with anyone. Despite her temperament she had forgotten to leave her weapons at the garage. She had a Scorpion holstered in her jacket and an Ingram Smartgun stashed in the smuggling compartment of her left cyberleg. Most of the bar’s patrons came armed so it wasn’t unheard of. She just had to worry about controlling herself. Part of her didn’t care.
The floor space for the bar made her think they had stolen it from some other business. The room had high ceilings but made up for it with a cluttered layout. Support pillars stood in awkward places that kept the tables too close to each other. Scratch guessed it might have been a small office before. The bar where the drinks were made ran along the left wall, which is where she headed right away. Otherwise the Defiler Lounge wasn’t the kind of place she normally hung out. Shit hole bars were everywhere and once you saw one you had seen them all.
The only point of interest to her was a large troll who worked as a bartender. People called him Lefty, mostly since his left hook could flatten even the bulkiest drunks. Despite the ‘hole in the wall’ ambience, he dressed somewhat presentable. He regularly wore a pair of brown pants and a dress shirt that had clearly been to the cleaners a few times. The two horns on his head were chipped in a few places, which suggested he was more than a pretty face. Scratch had never seen him step out from behind the bar. If there was trouble all he had to do was raise his voice and customers got the message. His actual bartending was average at best and what he really excelled in was keeping an ear to the ground.
Things made more sense when Scratch learned that Lefty and Rosselott did business with each other on a somewhat regular basis. Whatever he actually did or wherever he had come from, he had been a gateway to Shadowrunning in Seattle. She picked up on it right away that between him and Rosselott they had their hands in a fair amount of money.
The moment Scratch sat down at the bar Lefty made his way over. She didn’t normally drink in public, or drink much at all, since alcohol messed with the senses. Also her tolerance was so high she rarely got to enjoy the buzz. But all the anger and frustration bred enough indifference that she didn’t care that night. Even Lefty had to raise an eyebrow when she ordered what passed for vodka at the Defiler Lounge. He poured her a drink, but only after an amused grunt. It didn’t have to taste good. It just had to burn.
“You’re drinking tonight? Rough job?”
“One in broad daylight, actually.” She answered flatly.
“Sounds like someone screwed the poor little pooch.”
Scratch pulled up her mask and took a big swig of her drink and nearly choked on it.
“Yeah,” she said after clearing her throat. “You can say that. I’ve never worked so hard for such a small amount of money in my entire life.”
Lefty smiled with interest. “What’d you get up to?”
She squeezed the glass in anger. She knew she didn’t have enough strength to break it. Part of her didn’t want to think about it anymore. Then she realized she didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be a sad sap at the bar. She deserved it after her performance. They had a shootout in broad daylight so there wasn’t much secrecy involved in the first place.
“Some street doc hired our little group to play neighborhood watch. Someone was going around Bellevue targeting meta-humans,” she said.
“Yeah. Heard a little about that.”
“And it wasn’t a bunch of go-gangers with steel pipes and peashooters either. We got  into it with Humanis.”
Lefty gave a cold smile. “Proper drek, aren’t they?”
Scratch had never run into Humanis before, even though she heard plenty about them. They were like any supremacy group that thought their ilk were at the center of the universe and spent a lot of time and energy trying to force that idea on everyone else. In her eyes they were like any criminal outfit with the exception that they had ‘a cause’ to fight for. And ‘a cause’ was just a clever way to get people to work for you without paying them very much. They attracted a lot of suckers as a result. Scratch had already found assholes in all walks of life in every shape and form. The idea that humans were more special or more deserving had been destroyed a long time ago.
Not that the street doc could offer much either other than the warm tingly sense of doing the right thing. Scratch had reservations about the job, but she didn’t have many options to choose from. She sucked it up like Rosselott suggested and went along with the good feelings Hollowpoint and the others were fishing for. She brought her GMC Bulldog for transportation and hoped deep down they’d rough up a few punks and call it a day. They weren’t even close to being that lucky.
“A recent victim, some jumpy dwarf, pointed us toward a courier outfit running supplies into the Barrens. We met up with another team of runners and almost got in a shootout when our mage tried to peek inside their truck. Astral projection or whatever that crap is.”
Mantis got busted by another mage and almost got punted out of the astral plane as a result. Scratch was amazed they didn’t have a shoot out right then and there. But through some quick talking they passed it off as a rookie mistake and managed to join on as hired guns for protection. They almost had to make good on their ruse when some gang tried the old toll booth extortion racket when they headed out to the drop off. Mantis managed to redeem herself by locating all the gang members waiting to spring an ambush. The leader trying to shake them down felt a lot less bold when their positions were exposed and decided to back off.
“We made it to the drop but no one was there. The other runners started to get antsy.”
“Let me guess. The couriers were mostly meta-humans,” Lefty said.
“Meta-humans got stiffed. Humans got recruited. At least that’s the way I saw it.”
They got tired of waiting and hatched a plan with some RFID tags. They’d leave the cargo behind, mark them, and wait for them to move. It didn’t take long before someone came to collect. A truck had picked up all the crates and headed off toward a building in the distance. They gave chase in the van. That’s when Hollowpoint pulled off another crack shot out of nowhere. He leaned out the passenger side window, took aim at the truck trying to get away with the cargo, and sniped a tire with a handgun.
The resulting crash could only be described as spectacular. The driver overcorrected and sent the vehicle tumbling end over end revealing the cargo as some kind of canisters as it spilled all over the place. Then the truck smashed into a loading dock and burst into flames.
Scratch had to admit, in another life Hollowpoint would have been an assassin in high demand with his dead aim.
“With the commotion of the sudden car crash, we climbed onto the roof and snuck into the building through a skylight.”
Lefty gave an amused smile. “I’m trying to picture you climbing. I’m not seeing it.”
Scratch shot a glare. “Once we got inside we had the place to ourselves minus a few cameras our Decker took care of. The car crash made a good distraction. That’s where we confirmed who we were dealing with.”
A derelict building in the Barrens served as a Humanis base. They had been there for awhile judging by the computer room, bunk beds, and the main attraction in the form of a secure vault. Much as they wanted to see what was on the other side of the door they couldn’t get past it. Even Bast, their resident thief, couldn’t crack the maglock despite her best efforts.
They tossed a few bunks and wandered around a ramshackle cafeteria. It didn’t take long before they heard voices coming from the loading dock. Everyone in the building must have run out to attend to the smoking wreck of the truck. They were on their way back.
“We set up an ambush and took out five or six of them. I don’t remember the exact numbers. All I remember is that one of them got knocked out. Some woman. Then came the bright idea to bring the unconscious Humanis thug with us for a chat later. We took off when our courier friends warned us that more people were closing in on the building.”
Lefty nodded his head with an understanding. “You didn’t get all of them, did you?”
“Give me another drink.” Scratch demanded angrily.
Hindsight stung more than any alcohol as much as Scratch tried. Thinking back on it, she knew they had made all sorts of mistakes. The only thing she was really good at was killing people and driving. She never had to consider so many angles before. But the second they heard more were on the way they assumed the worst.
They left the canisters the truck was carrying and cleared out of the Humanis base without looking too closely at their computers. The job had already spun out of control from patrolling the streets to trading shots with human supremacists. No way the street doc could compensate them for that.
“We took our Humanis friend to a quiet spot. I could tell right away no one in our group had tortured anyone before. They didn’t know what was going to happen going in, but I did.”
“Oh yeah?”
“We had a bunch of meta-humans, a member of Humanis, and no one had any contacts that were cleaners. It went about as well as you’d think.”
“You record any highlights?” Lefty asked with anticipation.
“No. I watched the perimeter incase anyone followed us.”
“You didn’t join in on the fun?” The disappointment was palpable.
From what Scratch heard Hollowpoint tried to play the good cop like he usually did. Mantis, Merc, and Bast had the most fun with their Humanis guest. It involved clipping ears to look like an elf and then burying the lady alive with an earth spirit. That did make clean-up very quick and easy. As bubbly as Mantis tried to present herself, she was shaping up into a real gravedigger. There was real potential.
Scratch shook her head. “Once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. Besides I always got stuck with clean up. Not this time.”
The Humanis thug gave them only a few pieces of information for the trouble. Her outfit had plans to hit a homeless shelter in Bellevue sometime in the afternoon. Oz had some data to crunch off the lady’s commlink as far as possible connections and collaborators went. But as far as timetables and how exactly they were going to do it, they had nothing.
They went back to the Humanis compound to find it cleaned out except for a busted canister left behind with a label that warned about the contents under pressure causing increased aggression. It didn’t take much to figure out Humanis were going to launch some gas attack and frame meta-humans as monsters.
“We warned our client, the street doc, about everything that had happened. He wanted to know why we left the canisters behind, how many members were still out there, or why we ditched the compound without clearing it out. I reminded him he only hired us to play the part of neighborhood watch. Not deal with chemical attacks.”
“I’m going to guess he didn’t like that.” Lefty grinned.
“Hollowpoint didn’t like it either. It looked like he was going to drop off the face of the earth. He probably would have buried himself next to the Humanis thug we tortured out in the Barrens. But we weren’t getting paid shit in the first place. So screw the lot of them.”
Scratch started to feel the alcohol get on top of her. The idea was sobering enough on its own. She slid the glass back and waved off Lefty before he could pour her another. Everyone had ideas. Oz wanted to drop the matter entirely considering what little information they had. But Hollowpoint and his infallible conscience decided he was going to take it head on even if it killed him. Scratch couldn’t afford to let the idiot die yet. They still had an arrangement in place. The others eventually followed suit and they were on the hook for damage control.
“The shelter was a shit show as you probably heard from the news. Hollowpoint went inside and volunteered as a janitor. Bast snuck in through a window. The rest of us were nearby in the van. We looked at possible entry points for the gas. The roof. The air conditioner. The food. Some delivery man came by to drop off chicken and got clocked by Bast and Hollowpoint for the trouble. In the end, Humanis just lobbed some gas grenades in the middle of the dining area like real masterminds.”
It could have been so much worse. Oz had control of the shelter AC unit after hacking it and vented as much as he could. A cloud still managed to reach a few people, including Bast and Hollowpoint themselves. The inside of the shelter fell into a melee. Mantis rushed in with potions to counteract the effect but it didn’t help as much as they all wanted. Hollowpoint faded into his own little world, pulled a pair of pistols hidden on slide holsters, and opened up on a crowd of people.
By some miracle he only managed to shoot and kill a Humanis plant before Oz ejected the magazines in his guns. By then Merc had arrived equipped with an internal air tank and they engaged in a fist fight that would have been right at home in any kung-fu trid. A man the size of a stick and an orc the size of a fridge going blow for blow and keeping up with each other on equal footing.
“Where were you in all this?” Lefty finally asked.
“Me? I was outside, fending off a van full of Humanis enforcers properly armored and equipped with AP rounds. All by myself!”
The minute the gas attack started Scratch brought the van in front of the shelter to provide cover. On the way in Merc had to pulverize a Humanis thug disguised as homeless and must have sent a message that things weren’t going to plan. So they brought a van full of armed soldiers either as a back-up plan or some attempt to play the hero gunning down meta-humans run amok. It was Scratch and her two roto-drones, Garland and Lockjoy, against the world while everyone else fragged around inside the shelter.
“Everyone was having such a good time while Humanis took out one of my drones. 16,500 nuyen. Just scrap now. A nice old gunfight in broad daylight. All for nothing!”
Scratch’s hands started to shake as she felt like exploding. She had plans to carry that drone to the ends of the earth. Her current lifestyle didn’t afford her parts much less a whole new drone. Garland was a lost cause. All the time and effort and she lost it for some nobodies at a homeless shelter. Thanks to Hollowpoint’s crippling need to make a difference. She took out her anger on the Humanis attack team. She gave them a double tap twice over. It helped a little.
The anger amplified by the alcohol died down. She always did have a high tolerance. Chip truth she wasn’t alone outside. Oz had her back from the safety of her armored van, doing his work in the Matrix. Humanis had plans to use their van as cover, but once Oz got control he did a donut with it and left them separated without anything to hide behind. He screwed with their guns, ejected their magazines in the shootout. She never expected that she’d be so thankful for a Decker on her side.
Bast and Mantis came along a little later to help out but Scratch was too mad to admit any of it to Lefty. She barely wanted to admit Mantis using the earth spirit to conceal their van on the way out that saved them a lot of trouble with the police arriving on the scene.
“I think… I’ve had enough for tonight.” She muttered.
“Maybe.” Lefty smiled. “Even still, I hear no one at the shelter died. The police found a lot of incriminating evidence on some dead Humanis members. A couple of homeless beat each other up after being gassed… but they’ll survive.”
A lot of good feelings never fixed Scratch’s problems. They certainly weren’t going to fix Garland either. She had half a mind to shake down Hollowpoint for dragging them into such a mess. Their community service cost her a drone and nearly put her in the hole after rent was due. Her plans were slipping through her fingers into some dirty drain on a Seattle corner.
At this rate she’d wind up dead in a ditch somewhere if she was lucky. But as angry as she felt, she needed Hollowpoint. She didn’t exactly know any other private detectives who would work pro-bono, especially considering her past. Also he wasn’t some out of shape security guard. He could take on an orc hand-to-hand while high out of his mind. Not to mention his stellar aim.
Then she remembered she still had to pay for drinks. Lefty waved her off much to her surprise. He wasn’t known for his generosity.
“These are on the house.” He explained.
“Great. Thanks Lefty. It’s nice to know I look as poor as I feel.”
“The street doc paid you, didn’t he? How much was all that trouble worth, by the way? Just curious.”
Scratch shifted uncomfortably in her chair. “A measly 2k.”
It felt so awful to say that she felt like spitting on the floor. But the last time a man spit on the floor Lefty put them through a table. He found her payment something to chuckle at.
“For a chance to make a mess of Humanis? Any price is right in my book,” he grinned.
Scratch felt like saying something. Her face scrunched up into an awful scowl. Eventually she let out a deep sigh as she stood up to leave.
“Yeah? Well next time my crew digs up another sob story I’ll let you know. See how you like contending with gas attacks for less than the cost of my fragging leg.” She angrily slapped her cyberleg.
“Good night, Scratch.” Lefty waved.
The alcohol had already worn off and she dreaded heading back to the garage. The sight of Garland in a pile of smoking scrap in the back of her van sucked the energy right out of her. She would have to figure out something soon. The other members of her team might be satisfied with good feelings, but she had more pressing issues. She wouldn’t be able to keep this up forever. Before she got back in her car she looked over her shoulder. Maybe she could find a scrapyard in the city to vent her frustration before going back. She had to get it all out somehow so she could keep it as professional as she could.
Sniper games for pc
Sniper games are about perking at the top of a building and punching holes through bad guys from a mile away with the help of a high-caliber rifle. Whether it’s a challenge to compensate for a bullet drop or the simple joy of seeing a group of enemies descend into panic as you pick up the helpless goons one by one – the PC Games Repacks pop into moments like these.
Sadly, there are not many games that focus solely on making the player feel like the ultimate ghost warrior, but there are a large number of sniper games with realistic sniping mechanics and sniper missions to keep your itchy finger going. Trigger. Our sniper game list offers everything from military simulations to more laid back experiences where you can make a strange mistake or even dig a sniper rifle completely.
We repeatedly return to our lists to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, so you can be assured that in the list below we are no less than a classic sniper game on PC.
1.GHOST RECON BREAKPOINT
Release Date October 4, 2019
Publisher Ubisoft
Genre/Tactical Shooter 3rd Person Shooter Game Open World
The latest Ghost Recon from Ubisoft was supposed to have a lot of sniper action. Ghost Recon introduces the Breakpoint Sharpshooter class, along with a bunch of sniping perches to complement your loadout. It is built around Ghost Recon Breakpoint class sniping and includes class benefits such as ‘breathing while doing’ and ‘bonuses’ using sniper rifles and DMRs. Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s best weapons are highly accurate and fun to use snipers like TAC50, HTI, and Scorpio – found from loot drops, boxes, and blueprints across the imaginary island of Auro.
The breakpoint also introduces quick loot that adds extra perks to your guns, such as improving accuracy or maneuverability. You are able to upgrade your sniper rifle using Ghost Recon Breakpoint Gunsmith and spend old gun parts to improve your favorite sniper. If you are planning to tackle this open-world best single-player games pc, sniper rifles are our recommended choice.
2.ARMA 3
Release Date September 12, 2013
Publisher Bohemia Interactive
Genre/Tactical Shooter Open-World
There is no point in Arma 3 being a sniper. It is a battle simulator and as such it prides itself on annoying realism – you have to use a rangefinder, zero your scope, and freeze your breath ahead of every long-range shot. You have to engage with extreme caution, when you are aware of your situation, when you are acting as a ghost behind enemy lines, you will be killed very quickly.
Arma 3 is so realistic, in fact, that some snipers pair up with a spotter who handles all the totals for them and reveals new targets. Unlike many sniper games, Arma 3 snaps a cooperative experience. Better still, Arma 3 has loads of updates and expansions, so it’s never too late to fall in love with this military simulator.
3. SNIPER ELITE 4
Release Date February 14, 2017
Publisher Rebellion
Genre/ shooter, Stealth game, 3rd-person shooter
The shooting of Nazis is never complete. Sniper Elite 4 continues the series’ gradual transformation from linear stitcher to sniper’s dream sandbox game, marking the occasion with Italy’s fascist switch. The sniper game chop is intact, so expect a realistic bullet drop and there’s plenty of scopes until you manage to slow down your heart rate.
Sniper Elite 4 also features the franchise’s Gore Pies de Restasance: X-ray Kill Cam. Now, in addition to being able to take out a Nazi’s testicle from a mile away, you can see internal damage caused by stabbing an enemy in the back or splattering flying out of a nearby explosion. And what sniper games really are, if not waving your crosshairs to a bad guy’s head, pulling the trigger, and then looking up at his skull as morbid curiosity.
But it is the sniper Elite 4’s sandbox level that is the biggest improvement over its predecessors. Each one is alive and full of possibilities – be it a side-quest, a glimpse of a possible environmental kill, or a sniper nest waiting to be uncovered and used. As we found when writing our Sniper Elite 4 PC Review, each level is sought to be maintained again and again, and this means more sniper game talent for your buck.
At the top, Sniper Elite 4 also received more single-player content in the form of Destastorm, a DLC mini-campaign in which you sneak into a naval base. The campaign released add-ons to chapters after the game’s launch, along with free multiplayer modes and maps. Sniper Elite 4 has a lot more to do as sniper games go on.
4. SQUAD
Release Date December 15, 2015
Publisher Offworld Industries
Genre/ Tactical shooter
While the squad does not have the role of a sniper, there is a mark sheet class – and if you don’t think there is a difference between the two, the squad probably isn’t for you. The squad’s gameplay is all about teamwork, and as such, there is no room for lone wolf roles such as snipers. A shooter’s job, on the other hand, is to go anywhere with the fire team, giving the team its effective access to reacting to long-range fire and generally attacking and defending.
Related Survival Games For PC
Communication and teamplay are also essential for future snipers. Hitting more than 500 meters will give little success, but a higher-magnification scope and better-stopping power ensure that the tracer always has the upper hand in long-range skirmishes. The way it should be in a sniper game For PC
5. INSURGENCY SANDSTORM
Release Date December 12, 2018
Publisher Focus Home Interactive
Genre/ Tactical shooter
The original insurgency offered a genuine albeit clunky modern best FPS pc games with some solid sneezing mechanics. Insurgency: Sandstorm overhauls everything for graphics and animations, sound design and weapon models, and the result is a multiplayer shooter that sounds as authentic as Arma’s, especially when it comes to it’s powerful, one-hit-kill-snipers is. There is not much in bullet drop or travel time as most maps are very small, but weapon models are impressively detailed and have small details such as magnification effects when you are immersed in the role of the trail.
As much as insurgency: Sandstorm’s best zombie games pc focuses on large-scale attacks, playing a sniper in this FPS, which is about cutting flanking routes and catching lines of sight, so taking a spot and a Expect it to stick to the match. Most multiplayer shooters move too fast to make a sniper’s nest worth catching, but in Rebellion: Sandstorm it is necessary.
6. BATTLEFIELD 5
Release Date November 9, 2018
Publisher Criterion Software
Genre/first-person shooter battle royale game
Battlefield games are always baked for snipers, with bullet drops, travel time, and large-scale multiplayer maps ensuring that the range is well-crafted for long-range assassins. Battlefield 5 does not add a huge amount to the equation, but the selection of historical sniper rifles at your disposal is one of the best in the pc games for the free genre.
Whether you prefer to lay low in a hay knot, punching holes through a helmet with a carabiner 98 Kurz, or fancy carrying on vehicles with a Boyz anti-tank rifle. In addition, the new Battle Royal mode, Firestorm, let’s now put your sniper skills into the biggest Battlefield map in the final test against over 60 players. Best Horror pc games
7. CALL OF DUTY MODERN WARFARE REMASTERED
Release Date November 4, 2016
Publisher Activision, Activision Blizzard
Genre/ First-person shooter Game
Quickscoping and no scooping may not be as likely in modern warfare as they were in the original game, but the remastered version of the game is still home to the best pair of sniper missions in gaming: All Gilded Up and One Shot, One Kill.
These heavily scripted missions lead the player through the ghost town of Chernobyl on a mission to assassinate a Russian ultrasooologist-cum-arms dealer. The atmosphere is rhythmic, the narrative attractiveness surrounding it, and the pace irresistible – these missions ignited a passion for sniper games in all who played them. As we found in our Modern Warfare Remastered Review, the game is more than a flashy HD makeover, it is a complete remake of the old game.
8. HITMAN 2
Release Date November 13, 2018
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment
Genre/Action Adventure 3rd Person Stealth Game open world
Hitman adds more to what we love in the acclaimed sequel to Hitman 2 – silent and brutally shot opportunities.
Scope aficionados will enjoy a game mode within Hitman Sniper Assassin, Hitman 2 that can be played solo or multiplayer. You only have the job of navigating a level equipped with your sniper rifle, and the mission becomes a puzzle that you will have to figure out how to solve using stealth, position and time. A headshot is not enough for landing – you have to hide the bodies and cover the evidence to pass the level.
New Levels and The Prison ‘and u Huntu Port’ for Hitman Sniper Assassin were recently released with the latest hit 2Alc
9. OPERATION FLASHPOINT: DRAGON RISING
Release Date October 6, 2009
Publisher Codemasters
Genre/ Tactical shooter, Military simulation
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising has a lot of load-outs to choose from, but when you’re working in a sandbox, only a sniper rifle in about 200 square kilometers makes sense. Especially when you can command a squad of AI soldiers to clean all the rooms and do the dirty work for you, leaving you free to pick up utensils from the miscreants in the safety of a grassy knot far and wide. best strategy games for pc
So far away, in fact, that it is possible to kill enemies more than 1,000 meters from you. There are some substantial bullet-drops to take into account, but a few things warmed up the cocktails such as picking up an entire enemy squad without them ever finding out where you are. What else is there for sniper games? Of course, because Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a battle simulator, you will have plenty of opportunities to make the helicopter fall out of the sky with a single shot.
10. COUNTER-STRIKE GLOBAL OFFENSIVE
Release Date
Release Date August 21, 2012
Publisher Valve Corporation
Genre/ First-person shooter
The best sniper games are not about taking that one entire shot. In the hyper-competitive space of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive a Perfect Shot is not enough (even if you know the best places to throw CS: Smoke Grenade). You have to take thousands of perfect shots with each other to split each one, and there will be no margin for error. Forget Ghillie Suits, CS: Only care about muscle memory and accuracy – nothing less will do.
With this in mind, you can look for the CS: GO console command to access the game’s practice mode before going into the killing areas of the multiplayer. Pokemon pc Games
We also have CS: Gaming, thanks to the best and most famous sniper rifle in AWP. Why so much love for a gun? With each shot that plays with an adorable sound, it is also the only gun in the game capable of killing an enemy with one shot to the torso. This Quake’s railgun is distilled in a realistic form, and in the hands of a supporter, it is destructive.
CS: GO is one of the most played games on Steam and its ultra-competitive nature makes it one of the best multiplayer games on PC. Playing online against highly skilled players will make you an eagle-eyed sharpshooter in no time.
Thank you for all your hard work! I've been a fan of your blog for a while now and I'm grateful for how much insight you gave us on World Trigger. I have a question I hope you might have some thoughts on: I was rereading the latest chapter and reached the point where Ema was targeted while he reloads. Why is there a need to reload when they don't use real bullets or a variation of pre-stored trion bullets? I assume it's implied that the trion snipers/shooters use is supplied by trion bodies?
Since I didn’t manage to answer any asks before the new chapters came out, I’m going to answer this one quickly while I post the translations.
According to BBF, sniper rifles use up a large amount of trion in one shot so they cannot rapid fire. I presume it works on a similar premise as Gatorin’s Vasilissa. I hope that makes sense!
Tumblr media
Panel 1
Osamu: Ah
Panel 2
Inukai: Oh?
Panel 3
Osamu: Thank you for your hard work…
Inukai: What a coincidence
1. If we go with the day division happening at about noon (because that’s one of the meanings of the word ‘hiru’ and if so I might actually need to change my translation to noon division) and since the match is about an hour, that means the evening division happens at about 6 (since the aftermatch commentary might take up to half an hour). This is nothing we haven’t inferred before, but I just wanted to lay it out anyway.
2. I know it’s a common theory that these rumours are the plan that Lata hinted at the last time we saw Galopoula, but I can’t help but feel it’s a red herring just because if they have the capability to spread rumours this way wouldn’t they do something more direct with a higher chance of stopping the expedition…? But then again, Ashihara doesn’t really trick the audience through fakeouts, (surprises in World Trigger are usually not because Ashihara chose the less likely option unless it’s only less likely because we the audience don’t have all the facts and/or backstory) so I guess this could be their plan? After all, Izuho makes it sound like the switch to Hus definitely being a Neighbour was very sudden…
3. Anyway, there really is a giant Arashiyama…it is SO OBTRUSIVE
4. Jin really was in Tamakoma First before he became S class. This was a pretty popular theory so it’s nice to see it validated. But does that mean Jin will become part of Tamakoma First again? That’s what this new rumour is suggesting at least
5. It’s always nice to see adults being competent and showing why they are the adults, and World Trigger is really good at that. But another thing it’s good at is showing (and allowing) characters take responsibility for what they’ve taken under their charge.
6. I had Azuma say 'we’ when talking about those who’ve gone on expeditions because that’s the implication when he started talking about it when Osamu mentioned him knowing about Hus. But I just want to point out that in Japanese he does not actually come out and say that HE has been on expeditions, Ashihara loves these kind of word tricks where he lets your expectations blind you (no, I still haven’t forgiven him for that A-rank ranking q&a). But on the other hand, Ashihara also loves Occam’s Razor, so Azuma could have gone on expeditions, especially since he used to be A-rank No.1. And if his A-rank No.1 team really was Ninomiya, Kako and Miwa then they might know too. After all, Kazama was talking about Tamakoma’s Neighbour engineer right in front of Miwa in volume 3 (actually, does this mean Narasaka knows as well, since he was there too?)
7. There are so many theories about who Hatohara might have shot, but most of them are of existing characters while I feel, since this is Ashihara, it’s more likely to be someone we haven’t even met yet. Like someone from Kusakabe squad.
8. I’ve given up on trying to translate ochibi with honorifics into a viable English nickname, though chibi by itself still works if I use 'squirt’.
9. But, man, Izuho doesn’t seem to have much of a reaction to Hus, does she? I wonder how much she knows that she’s okay with it all despite everything that happened to them, especially Chika, during the invasion
10. Yay, Yuba squad! As a reminder of the interesting things to look forward to about Yuba squad: they’re the last upper tier squad to be revealed, they’re Ouji and Kurauchi’s old team, they have quite possibly the last HQ B-rank female character to be introduced (unless Yukari is actually a boy, or one of the masculine names not yet introduced is a female character, unlikely with Ashihara but K did have a male character named Yukari so…), Yuba is our last chance to see a strong dual-weld handgun character since he’s the only dual-weld handgun character who hasn’t been introduced yet and the others are Yuiga and Chano squad (A-rank does have 1 unintroduced single-weld handgun character - Satomi - as well as 2 introduced - Kitora and Miwa, who are strong), and finally Yuba is also one of the characters Jin said was one of the Fuujin candidates (despite being a Gunner) and is called 'Yuba-chan’ by Jin - since so far Jin has used -san or their title for everyone older than him, there is a high chance that Yuba is 19 or younger.
11. But this really does mean we’ve lost the chance to see Urushima in the rank wars, doesn’t it? SIGH
12. So I translated a lot of 'and others’ for the going out for meals part because the Japanese didn’t specify who they’ve gone with, but my guesses are: Yuuma is with the other 18 year olds (but probably not at okonomiyaki again since Usami said 'Zoe-san and others’ not 'Kageura and others’), Reiji is with the other 21 year olds, we know who Suzunari all are, and Jin and Hus are probably with Yuri and Mikhael as well as Rindou - maybe even Youtarou too. Man, as interesting as BBQ with Ninomiya squad is, I want to see all these meetups too.
13. I did not miss the fact that if Tsuji stays in that seat he might end up surrounded by girls lol
14. In conclusion, the next chapter will be the last chapter of volume 20, I’m expecting something good to end the volume.
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Five years later...
And they really didn't expect to meet like this.
In a middle of a villain attack, while trying to make sure the students stay safe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                                   Chapter 2
"--making this the third incident of arson that has hit the center of Tokyo this month; with yet another message being left behind in the ashes.
"You’ve Funded My Birth"
Authorities have been urging citizens if they have any information of suspicious activity or persons, to contact them directly."
The new played on as the teachers watched.
"It’s not the work of a Quirk," Midnight stated. "Each report from each site, they’ve found traces of accelerants."
"So, some whack job is just lighting up theses places?" Snipe asked.
"Perhaps somebody with a grudge? Those businesses targeted aren’t…" Thirteen trailed off. They didn’t need to continue, everyone knew.
Not all villains are ones who stole openly. Who killed to make a statement. No...some wore a three piece suit, and knew how to manipulate their words to have the majority eat right out of their hands.
However, this wasn’t the right way to take them down. Whoever was doing this, wasn’t just hurting them but those who were employed under them. They were causing just as much problems as...well…
As much as the business owners were probably causing.
--
He looked around the room. Dim lighting, a TV in black static...a tattered poster of All Might.
"What do you say?" The soft voice asked.
"...I don’t see the point in this," he stated. This did nothing for him. Would answer nothing to him.
"Huh?" the younger man titled his head to the side as he scratched at his neck. "Wouldn’t you want to take down a hero like him? See why he’s praised as such?"
"It wouldn’t change anything," Eraser sighed.
"You sound so sure."
He shrugged and turned his back to them. "There’s nothing for me to gain. You want to kill him, so it’s not like you’d give me a chance to ask him my question in the first place."
"Clever man…"
"Do not bother me again," he warned. He looked to the other, the ethereal looking man who stood behind the counter. "Send me back."
"You would be wise not to--" Kurogiri began.
"What point is there to have me join? There is nothing you can offer. And what you tried contradict what your intentions are. I refuse. Send me back."
"Send him away Kurogiri...I don’t like his tone…"
Eraser just shrugged as he lets himself be practically thrown back into the alley way they approached him in.
He sighed in annoyance. Thanks to them...his plan for the night was now ruined. Turning on his heel to make his way back to his...home? Hideout?
Prison?
He heard a second set of footsteps enter the allway.
---
He knew he heard something. Sounded like, somebody getting thrown up against a wall. He needed to look into it. Could lead to something bigger if not dealt wi--
Something shot out and bound him.
I-it was almost familiar. Where has he seen--
"It’s you."
Oh shit he knew that voice too! Hizashi just stared at the man approaching him. The moonlight making his pale skin almost glow as he stepped out of the shadows.
Him? I-it’s been how many years since he last seen this guy!? Like four or five...jeez did that cloak get more tatters?!
"Shhhh," he shushed him, his hair standing up,  eyes glowing red. "You’re...a teacher at U.A now, correct?"
Hizashi felt himself nod. W-what was going on? Why was this guy asking something like that.
"I see," the man slowly closed his eyes, His hair falling.
Hizashi coughed a bit. "W-who…" h-his voice was back!
"Prepare yourselves…" he said cryptically.
"Is that a threat?"
"A warning."
"Why should I even trust you!?" Hizashi asked, noticing the wince for the other man. "Just who are you?"
"You’re pretty loud, you know that?" He asked in a bored manner. "You don’t have to trust me. This is up to you, hero."
And with that, he was walking away. Hizashi wanted to follow...but just couldn’t get his legs to move. Was he...really going to take his word?
Could he be trusted?
"Wait! W-why did you knock me out...all those years ago?"
The other man stopped. "...nobody should remember that place."
"What? Why? What are you--"
"Enough people try to forget about it...but...if you are curious, all I can give you is the name."
"Name? I don’t...what are you even going on about?"
"Iwasaki Medical…"
Before he could ask anymore, the other was on his way. The tendrils of his cloak were tossed up as he pulled him up. Hizashi watched as the other skillfully climbed and jumped out of sight.
Iwasaki Medical huh?
--
This was such a rush! No wonder U.A. had such high expectations! If THIS was the entrance exam!?
Holy shit! He couldn’t wait to see the classes! This was his chance to become a hero!
He let out a loud yell, the robots in his way being blown away.
This was great! He ran through the cityscape. He was going to get the highest score too! He was going to prove his worth!
Everything then sudden froze. Well almost...he was still moving, but everything else stop.
That's when he saw him. That one kid. He remember seeing him try his best, but it seemed that his Quirk didn’t provide any physical enhancements. As he just stared at the other boy, time started up again…
And a robot was about to fall onto him.
He reacted in an instant. Shouting out a warning that not only had the other dodge, along with taking out the tumbling bot.
He was rushing over. The other boy was panting, eyes starting wide at the robot that now laid in the area that he was standing in just moments prior.
He grinned and offered him his hand.
The other looked up...and slowly reached for it…
Vanishing from his sight before the other fully took it.
Hizashi’s eyes shot open as he sat up in his bed. W-what was? What the hell? Brushing the hair out of his face and looked to the clock. Almost four am.
Heaving a sigh he flopped back onto his bed.
It’s been a while...since he thought about the entrance exam...and that guy.
--
"Eraser didn’t show after all," Shigaraki observed.
"Don’t mind that, Shigaraki Tomura...he always seem to have his own agenda he adheres to."
"I suppose...shall we?"
"Of course," Kurogiri nodded, as he opened a gateway.
--
So far...nothing Hizashi looked around. Maybe he shouldn’t have taken Eraser’s words to heart. B-but there was something in his tone. Just how he said it...it made it feel that he should have list--
"Whoa, is it, starting already?"
Wait, what? Was what start--
"The hell?" He looked out. N-no way...villains? How did villains--
W-was this what Eraser meant!?
"Everyone get going, this isn’t part of the simulation!" Hizashi urged. I-if he knew did that mean…
Was Eraser...a villain?
Shit they were a lot of them, and they were still coming.
What was going on?
H-he had to act. He had to act now. "Thirteen! Get them to safety!" He ran off. This was dumb. This was dumb and reckless. He wasn’t the best at close combat...but he had to do something!
He lept down, letting out a yell as he did. The sound being enough to knock some villains off their balance as he landed. He just needed to distract them long enough for the kids to get fre--
The sounds of the doors slamming shut had Hizashi’s heart instantly sank.
Fuck.
--
"Nobody will be leaving here," a voice broke in, as Kurogiri made his appearance. "My job is to scatter you all," he began his form stretching and shooting out, encompassing the students and pro-hero. "And torture you to death!"
It happened so fast...it was-it was--
"There is still a chance!" Thirteen stated, trying to keep the kids calm. There was a chance, a way to get out of this! "Class Rep...we will need to you to get help."
"Wh-what? Me?! But what about--"
"With your speed, you are the only one who can ensure our safety. You must do this," they urged. "Use your Quirk in order to save others."
"Even if there you had no other choice," Kurogiri taunted. "Are there really idiots who talk about their plans in front of the enemy?"
As the warp gate user unleashed his onslaught, the pro hero relaiated…
Only to have their attack used against them. Their suit being torn apart by their own power.
"And now," Kurogiri began and turned his attention to the remaining student. He was about to unleash another attempt to disperse them, but found himself, unable to. "What the--"
A figure dropped down. "You’re pretty flashy...aren’t you?" They stood up. Red eyes glowing, hair standing on end.
"You bastard…" Kurogiri growled as he stepped back. "Why would you betray--"
"When did I agree," he asked, hair falling as he was pulling his goggles up. "It’s your fault you opened up. Tell me Kurogiri, what is the reason you do this? What do you gain?"
The warp gate user scoffed about to bolt when he felt himself unable to move. "Y-you!"
His hair was standing on end once again. "I asked a question," he began.
The kids were unsure how to react. Who was this man? H-he wasn’t fighting them like the other villain’s were. In fact he was making one stepped down…
But he wasn’t any hero they known about.
Something caught Tenya’s eyes. It was a small gesture. A flick of a wrist. Tenya watched as he did it again…
Ah! Now was his chance.
He took off.
"No!"
Shit, that took longer than it needed too, he could feel the strain on his eyes. Just a bit--
"Run! Iida-kun!"
He blinked, but the kids reacted faster than he anticipated. The girl tossed that metal brace upwards. It was a team effort…
He almost wanted to ask why they felt that it was all necessary, until her heard that voice...
"Don’t push yourself," that clam voice taunted as he grabbed onto the blonde as he was trying to catch his breath in between his shouts.
Eraser didn't hesitate and hopped down...watching as the blonde’s jacket deteriorated, exposing skin...that skin falling away to muscle--
The tattered ends of his cloak bound the bluenette as he nearly ripped him away from the blonde, who staggered and dropped to his knees in an attempt to collect himself.
"Eraser..."
"You shouldn't have told me your plans," he said and tugged at the tendrils releasing the young man.
"I didn't tell you everything..."
"What?" Eraser looked around. Something was off. Shigaraki sounded almost...confident.
"I'm….not the last boss," Shigaraki said with a small laugh.
"Final boss? The hell!?" The blonde asked.
There was a growl...and a figure--
No a monstrosity lumbered from the warp gate. Eraser's eyes widened, as he took a step back. The blonde seemed to be frozen in stunned silence.
The beast raised a fist and brought it down. The tatter tendrils of his cloak wrapping around the blonde and pulled him out of the way just in time. Where the blonde once stood, now a minor crater was left in its wake.
"S-shit..." Hizashi finally managed to say.
--
"Were you able to kill Thirteen?" Shigaraki asked as Kurogiri joined him.
"I put Thirteen out of action...however I was unable to disperse some of the children," he began. "However...Eraser helped one escaped. I apologize."
"I see," the bluenette said as he scratched his neck. "He really doesn't like us, does he? It's almost like he wants to be a hero..."
"It would appear to be that way."
"Well then...let's see how, heroic he can be, against Nomu."
--
"Eraser!"
He was knocked down, the creature seized an arm...twisting, twisting twis--
Until it snapped.
He was too focus on his pain that he couldn't hear the yell the blonde delivered. It was enough to disorient the beast.
Hizashi rushed over to help the other. This was bad...both of them were now so far past their potential...
He really couldn't be a hero...
He really couldn't be--
"Don't touch them!" a yell pulled him out of his thoughts.
His eyes widened...
Kids...there where--
Shigaraki!
The blunette stopped. "Heh...you're pretty cool...Eraser."
Hizashi looked to the man he was supporting. Hair standing on end, eyes red. For a moment he thought they were--
A sudden weight grabbed them both by their hair and smashed them face first into the ground.
"Let her go!" Midoriya shouted as he focused on the bluenette. "Smash!!"
He couldn't see...he felt a bubble of panic raise up in him. There was only a few time when he remembered being unable to see.
Everything seemed to be too quiet at the moment.
He was not hero.
He couldn't be.
Not with his Quirk...
They were right...
He wasn't--
There was a loud crash, and he heard a surprised gasp...
And the sudden cheer from a child.
They-they were....they were alright? But how?
"It’s alright now," All Might’s loud voice carried throughout the entire USJ building. "I am here!"
A-All...Might?
"C-come on," Hizashi winced as he pushed himself up. "W-we gotta move...gotta, get the kids…" Eraser looked to him. Despite the blood, the broken glasses, the way his arm hung limply at his side, the blonde forced a smile. "We’re, in this together, right?"
He felt his eyes widened a bit.
Wh-where did he hear that before?

Law of Retribution 3/4
Rating: 13+
Relationships: Platonic Soldier & Sniper
Summary: Soldier gets lost. He also receives another challenge.
The good news was that Scout and Demo seemed to have given up on their pursuit. Perhaps stepping into the infirmary was a wise decision. It was as if that place was a repellent.
However, Soldier still had a problem.
He hated to admit it, but he was lost in the base again. Despite outside appearances, the base was large, filled with many dimly-lit hallways. He took the wrong turn and was now wandering. Soon, he came across a red sign with a white arrow pointing down a stairwell. Beside the arrow was an outline of a wrench within a circle – Engie’s class emblem.
Perhaps Engie could point him to the right direction of the stairway leading to the roof.
Soldier kept walking until he spotted the metal door with the same class emblem emblazoned upon it. About to walk into the workshop, he stopped himself. The last time he did that, one of Engie’s sentry bots fired missiles at him. It was a minor malfunction that never happened again, but Soldier would rather not risk respawning when there were no battles. It would be a dishonorable discharge. He knocked on the door and waited.
“Come in!”
Walking in, Soldier took a quick look around the workshop. The ceiling was lower than Medic’s infirmary, but higher than the RED-issued bedrooms. Tools hung neatly upon a wooden board with small hooks. Blueprints and graphing papers filled with scribbled calculations overlapped each other like a collage, taped against faded red walls. The air smelled like grease and heavy metals. There were no windows, and in a way, this room was worse than the infirmary. Not that Soldier would ever admit it aloud.
Scanning the room for Engie, Soldier spotted him crouching behind a sentry bot.
There he was.
Taking a small step forward, Soldier tensed, waiting for the sentry bot to launch missiles at him again. When that did not happen, he relaxed, walking towards Engie.
Engie stood up from his crouched position, adjusting his goggles before looking at Soldier. “Hey there, Solly. What can I do for ya?”
“Where are the stairs?”
Engie arched an eyebrow. “Hey now, didn’t you just come down from them?”
“Not those ones! The ones that lead to the roof!”
Glancing down at his sentry, Engie shook his head. “Sorry, partner. This sentry’s being a damned nuisance right now.” He then picked up his wrench from a nearby workbench. “But I bet our local firebug will be happy to help you.”
Pyro? Soldier would rather not talk to them under most circumstances, but if they were the only option…
“Fine. Where are they?”
“Right in the boiler room. Never seen someone so happy to be in there.” Looking away, Engie crouched back down, whacking his sentry bot with his wrench.
With a salute, Soldier left the workshop. He traveled further down the hallway towards the boiler room, marching to the beat of Engie whacking his sentry bot. When he arrived in front of the boiler room, he noticed the rusty door decorated with glittery unicorn stickers and detailed acrylic paintings of the BLU Spy on fire.
Pyro must have decorated the door.
Soldier doubted he would ever understand their way of thinking. Still, he could appreciate the amount of effort behind the vivid painting. It fueled him with the desire to target the BLU Spy during his next mission.
He knocked on the door, then waited for a response.
Pyro opened the door right away, sticking their masked face into Soldier’s personal space.
Soldier stumbled backwards, dropping his riding crop. Then, when he recovered, he stood up straight and crossed his arms. “Look here, firebug! I’ve been on a goose chase all day, and I need you to guide me up the stairs. The one to the roof, not the one I just came from. Do I make myself clear, private?”
Giving a thumbs-up, Pyro mumbled a response.
It was too bad the gas mask filtered out the more important parts of verbal replies, leaving only mumbles behind. However, Pyro refused to take their mask off. They waved their flamethrower at anyone who made any attempts.
Soldier knew from personal experience.
He remembered that day. It was hard to forget what happened when his hand still had burn scars that respawning could not heal. After all, respawning only restored someone to their previous state, and Soldier had not yet been registered in the respawn system on the first day. The scars were a reminder of how dangerous the Pyro could be, should Soldier ever forget what he witnessed during battles. It was not the best first impression anyone ever gave him, but he had worse.
None of the maggots on this team were even close to the worst first impression he ever had. Still, Soldier liked to keep an arm’s length between himself and Pyro.
Pyro exited the boiler room, shutting the door. They proceeded to skip ahead of Soldier.
After picking up his riding crop, Soldier followed them.
After fifteen minutes, Pyro gestured towards a stairway, making jazz hands. It seemed as if they were mumbling, “Ta-dah!”
Soldier looked to the side. “Thank you for your services, private.”
Then, he bolted up the stairs. Within seconds, he saw the door leading to the roof. He kicked it open. The door swung aside, allowing him to exit on to the rooftop.
Just as Medic guessed, Sniper was up here. He was facing the direction of the door, sitting down on a folding chair. He was cleaning the chamber of his sniping rifle with a rag.
On a nearby wooden crate, Soldier could see the other disassembled parts of the sniping rifle. As he often used a rocket launcher and a shotgun, some of these parts were unfamiliar to him. However, the sniping rifle was still a firearm, and he did recognize a few parts. He recognized the magazine, the barrel, and the receiver scattered across the crate. He also saw a cartridge of ammunition, a toothbrush, a spray bottle of solvent, and a kukri knife.
Sniper’s shoulders were relaxed, his slouch hat and aviators resting near his feet. Instead of wearing his usual frown, he wore a small smile.
Soldier could not recall a time when he saw Sniper this content. He almost felt guilty for interrupting his peace. Almost. He had to continue this team-building project.
Tensing his shoulders, Sniper looked up from his cleaning. “Can I help you, mate?”
Gripping his riding crop with both hands, Soldier said, “I am going to push you off the roof now.”
Under most circumstances, Soldier would tackle Sniper without thought or warning. However, that was a horrible battle tactic. Even though Soldier knew Sniper would have a difficult time defending himself. It was not because a rare feeling within his gut – certainly not guilt – told him that tackling Sniper right away would ruin any hopes of team-building.
Sniper swapped the rag and chamber for his kukri knife. He stood up and took a fighting stance, his knees slightly bent.
Soldier mirrored Sniper’s stance. A kukri knife may be a more conventional weapon than a riding crop, but it was a risk he was willing to take. He was not a coward!
“Really?” Sniper grinned. “Let’s have a go at it!”
“Prepare to have your organs shipped back to Australia in a soup can!”
Another challenge began.

Omega’s Strength (Pt 5)
As I mentioned at the beginning, I don’t wanna play the guessing game with canon, so here’s where I hash out what liberties I’ve taken to make this non-canon compliant as well as what the plan is going forward.
The official mess was a big, spacious room down the hall on the second deck, with long tables and fixed seats. It never sat well with the majority of their ragtag group, feeling too sterile for comfort and too reminiscent of Beacon for ease, so they instead took their meals in the kitchen area, where the food actually got cooked by whoever pulled the short straw for the day. Most of their rations were the bulk, ready-to-heat style typical for Atlesian military vessels, like the spaghetti and meatballs currently being pushed around her plate by her fork. Ruby had already gone over some things to work on as teams and individuals, with all but the leader of Team SNOW taking well to the criticism. Stryker at least played the role of an interested party, though her gaze seemed to convey a level of concerted disinterest not too dissimilar from Weiss when the Beta was announced as their team leader.
Well, they had experience working with stubborn Alphas. A few good knocks and she'd figure out that the time for fun and games ended a while ago.
"Oh! And, we were able to make contact with Team SSSN!" Ruby announced with a smile that became faked the longer she spoke. "They'll be meeting up with us as soon as possible. Might not be able to reach us before we try infiltrating the base but soon after that! They're, uh, looking forward to seeing us again."
Weiss and Blake exchanged a look, the Alpha's slight frown met with an equally unimpressed raise of her mate's brow. Ultimately, she put her hands up. "We... certainly could use the assistance."
"And they're reliable friends we can trust," the Omega said, pointedly shifting in her seat and likely doing something hidden by the island they were gathered around to set the other woman at ease. "I'm sure a brief word early on is all they'll need to focus on the mission."
"We can certainly hope." Weiss didn't seem convinced and, frankly, Yang didn't blame her; Sun and Neptune hadn't been subtle with their advances and Blake's extended period traveling with the monkey Faunus likely meant the newly bonded mates would have to talk about that at some point in the near future, if they hadn't already. However, as far as Alphas went, Sun landed on the more laid back end of the spectrum, and Neptune could be an admittedly aggressive Beta but proved rather easy to discourage, seeing as he'd never really pursued any of his shameless attempts at flirting. "Do we have any other allies?"
"We're still trying to contact Team CFVY." Her sister frowned. "Professor Goodwitch mentioned that a lot of students stayed back to secure the evacuation for Vale, but communication across the sea is still pretty spotty at best."
Then, Stryker decided to chime in with her first genuine comment since they'd regrouped. "You still call her Professor? This isn't exactly a classroom, you know."
"Showing proper respect to a more experienced Huntress trumps technicalities." Weiss shot back, narrowing her eyes slightly. "We would show you the same courtesy... if it applied."
A flicker of annoyance passed over the woman's face. "Oh, great. You two have the whole 'apple and tree' thing going on."
"And your entire team has the whole 'getting destroyed by people two years your junior' thing going on. It's a very charming theme."
"Weiss," Blake said, her voice neutral. It could be a warning, a reprimand, or an agreement and the majority of them would be none the wiser; only Yang could really get a read enough on the Faunus to tell the single word held more of the former and latter than the middle.
"Look, I get that we're all getting used to each other still, but there's way bigger things going on right now than personal differences," Ruby said, effectively bringing the conversation back on topic. "Normally, I'd be all for duking it out until we can agree to disagree, but we really don't have that option." Her expression hardened, the corners of her lips pulling into a slight frown. "We need to work together, starting now. Any objections?" When Team SNOW shifted, a subtle inhalation proceeding a verbal response, silver eyes shot to the four, irises glistening just a little with untold power. She still hadn’t mastered the enigmatic abilities but they seemed to respond when she thought about certain things, so she could at least try to use them, and it had the desired effect as all movement ceased. "Let me make this really clear. We can use all the help we can get but anyone not willing to put differences aside is just going to get someone else killed in the long run." She leaned back from the kitchen island, crossing her arms over her chest. "This... it's all or nothing. No in between. We've already lost too many friends; I'm not losing any more because of dumb, petty squabbles."
With a small sigh, Stryker nodded, making eye contact with Weiss as she spoke. "Fine. We'll play nice."
Almost immediately, the Alpha opened her mouth to snipe something back but a hand at her elbow stopped her, Blake's fingers soothing the annoyance from her brow easily. Yang watched silently, abandoning any hope of finishing her spaghetti in favor of taking a few steps back and leaning against one of the refrigerators. She couldn't imagine how soothing that must feel, having a mate's touch to calm the storm of one’s anger; getting Weiss to drop a subject once she'd gotten started remained one of the hardest things for her teammates to accomplish, though it seemed now only the sisters were left behind in that department. She'd have to remember that the next time an argument started up about how should be doing the dishes or something.
"What was Sun and them even doing, anyway?" The Omega figured changing the subject now that everyone had agreed to cooperate would be best. Plus, she honestly didn't know; while she was avoiding Blake and trying to figure out what she wanted to say to her partner, the monkey Faunus left on his own mission. "Visiting family?"
"Oh! Right. We should probably go over that." Ruby turned, grabbing something from a bag she'd brought with her and unfolding it. A map of Remnant was laid down on the island after the plates were quickly cleared away. "So, according the the myths and legends that... I guess are actually true, there's four Maidens and four Relics in Remnant, and each can harness the power of either the Light Brother or the Dark Brother." She pointed towards Vale. "We know that Cinder stole the Fall Maiden powers in Vale and that Ozpin has one of the relics hidden somewhere on Beacon grounds. It's why we're trying to make contact with Team CFVY; they can retrieve it for us, since he’d removed it from the vault before Beacon fell." Her finger trailed along the paper to Mistral. "Sun, meanwhile, took his team to try retrieving the relic from Vacuo. If we can collect all four, we can combine them and harness the Light Brother's power to banish Grimm."
"Wait, I thought we were fighting some sort of secret society thing?" Oswald's expression screwed up as he looked at the map. "Why do we need to worry about the Grimm?"
Blake answered him, her expression smooth despite the hint of fear in her eyes. "We are and most of our primary enemies are flesh and blood people. Their leader, however, is some sort of combination- possibly a symbiotic Grimm that combined with a Human to create the creature we are trying to defeat. Salem doesn't appear to have a particular power to command the Grimm, but she can summon them and her base of operations is in the center of a Grimm breeding ground." Absently, her hand reached out, briefly touching the handle of Blush and Wilt attached to her back. Yang couldn't help but wince, remembering all too vividly the trials they went through to gain that bit of intel. Even if she'd yet to actually draw the blade in combat, she carried it more often than not as a reminder and it never failed to pull a concerned twitch from Weiss' brows. "If we can destroy Salem and weaken the Grimm, her pawns will fold soon after."
"But what about these Maidens?" Nigel nodded towards Ruby. "We should try recruiting them to our side, eh? Maybe get one or two out of the remaining three to join us?"
Yang had to physically bite her tongue to keep from speaking her mind on that front.
"Finding them is the hard part," Weiss said. "Aside from the fact they're moving targets, the Maidens' powers are limited to mortal fallibility the same as our semblances. Add to that we're fairly confident that Salem is the Winter Maiden and we've got one person out of millions to find, and only the hope that she'll be a Huntresses. The way the powers transfer, she could just as easily be a teenager rather than an adult warrior."
Everyone unfamiliar with the Maidens' story cringed at that while Yang looked away.
Wisteria tugged on Oswald’s sleeve and he nodded slowly. “That’s only accounting for three out of four- Winter, Fall, and one other. What about the fourth?”
“The Spring Maiden won’t help us.” On top of everything else, she didn't need to think of her mother as well, a harsh edge to her voice as she glared at him. “She doesn’t trust Ozpin and that matters more than anything else, even our lives.”
Thankfully, Ruby decided to press on quickly, a small smile directed at Oswald.
"Basically, it's a gamble we really can't take... and we also have to be prepared if the Maidens try to stop us." The Beta sighed, brushing a hand through her red tipped hair. "After the debacle in Mistral, we're probably going to be labelled threats soon; Salem has agents in every kingdom hierarchy, and they're working against us. Revealing ourselves to people and hoping they'll listen- it's just going to be a bigger and bigger risk the further we pursue it. Which is why we're going to try to find Salem's Atlesian agent; if we're lucky, we can draw attention towards a direct method of engagement while others find the relics. Once we have all four, we can hit Salem hard and end this, once and for all."
Everyone nodded as a sort of firm determination settled over them, with Jaune being the one to move the proceedings along. "So, what are we going to do here in northern Atlas?"
Ruby breathed in deeply, letting out in a long sigh. "Well. That's the fun part."
She bent over the map again, pointing to a spot near the most northern part of inhabited territory in all of Mantle, drawing everyone's attention to it while she explained the plan.
Yang laid on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She'd thought about the whole mission plan from start to finish a dozen times already, hammering her part in the whole thing home. Using the spare uniforms and equipment left aboard the ship, they would infiltrate the Atlesian base and try to find Salem's agent. Winter and Weiss would remain back with the ship, the former Professors plus Qrow on the edge to create diversions if things got too hot, and Team SNOW would be there to walk them into the perimeter; it would be on Teams RBY and ORNJ to find the rat. They didn't have much to go on except that this gear in the machine seemed to about as important as Cinder- an elevated pawn, but a pawn nonetheless. Winter had already given them her thoughts on who it could be and tips for what things they should seek out, but they were essentially flying blind.
The Omega didn't like it. Too much sneaking around, too much subterfuge- she didn't believe for a second she could fool anyone into believing she was a member of the Atlesian military and banking on a charming smile seemed like dooming them to failure. Team SNOW had agreed to help teach them basics- greetings and simple acronyms- but it seemed like they were leaving too much up to chance.
However, an open fight against a fully staffed outpost didn't bode well, either. Qrow had managed to secure them enough dust rounds to be a good stockpile for when they launched the last stage of Ruby's plan against Salem's headquarters, but they didn't have the resources to go into a full blown firefight every other day.
Something would go wrong. She could tell already; Ruby's plans usually worked out pretty well, but her best ones were always formulated in the middle of the problem, the heat of battle, when seconds meant life or death. The rush helped her think and, while this probably constituted the best plan they'd be able to manage given the situation, it wouldn't be until something went terribly wrong that the real plan came out.
She just had to make sure everyone made it that far.
Loud banging on her door jolted her into awareness, glaring at the entrance to her quarters and sighing. Aside from the dull drone of the engines as they pushed further north, everything had fallen silent on the ship and most everyone should be asleep, preparing for the busy day tomorrow. They had about thirty six hours to become believable soldiers; it didn't leave much room for slacking.
With a muttered curse, she got up and went to the door, opening it and finding a scowl coming to her features.
"Hey," Stryker said, one arm against the wall as she nonchalantly stood in front of the blonde. "Still awake, I see."
"Very observant." She crossed her arms over her chest, already guessing how things were about to go. "Wanna get it off your chest now or are you going to waste time trying to woo me?"
"You're really taking the fun out of this, Blondie." The Alpha sighed, running a hand through her hair and missing the twitch of Yang's eye. "Look, I just figure we could help each other out here. Blow off some steam." The blonde growled, showing her teeth a little. Not the least bit intimidated by her display, Stryker chuckled. "Oh come on! Is a little bit of mutual enjoyment too much to ask?"
"Use your hand," Yang replied. "I'm not interested."
"You can't lie for shit, you know that? You're definitely interested in a little action." Pushing off the wall, the other woman took one step closer, nearly invading the Omega's space. "Just... from a different Alpha." Anger flashed across Yang's expression quicker than she could think to stop it, her right hand shooting forward to grab Stryker's lapel and bring her close, left hand drawing back for a punch aimed in the middle of that smug smile. She stopped before putting her fist forward, though, a twitch in her brow speaking to the effort of not immediately following through with the blow. "Touched a nerve, did I? Or is this your version of foreplay?"
"You're really asking for a beating, you know that?" Putting the Alpha through a wall, while cathartic, most likely wouldn't help her in the slightest. Besides that, a question burned on the tip of her tongue and she was using the majority of her energy to keep it locked behind her teeth. In the end, she couldn't, her eyes darting away as her shoulders dropped slightly. "Am I really that obvious?"
"Not really." Stryker shrugged, not bothering to remove the fist still holding her jacket while ticking off her fingers with every bit of 'evidence' she'd gathered during her brief time aboard the ship. "You're not bonded, you just came off heat from what I can tell, there's only one Alpha you get super tense around, she seems to be avoiding you like a pack of Ursa, your entire team seems super worried about you, and you really don't like me arguing with her." Her eyes darted down to the prosthetic before coming back to meet lilac, raising a brow in the process. "I took a stab in the dark that you're hung up on the Specialist and can't get her attention. Her loss, really; Omega like you needs a more attentive Alpha. Plus, she seems like a hardass-"
"There's nothing wrong with Winter." With a shove, she released the woman, scowling at her with her eyes flashing red. "What's going on between us isn't any of your business, and I'm not interested in you."
Catching her balance, Stryker smoothed out her jacket and cracked a smile. "Alright. But if that itch gets too bad, just come find me. I'll scratch it for you, no strings attached."
Not bothering to dignify that with a response, Yang hit the button to close her door and another to engage the lock, stalking back to her bed while quietly fuming. By the time she reached it, though, she had to sit on the edge, head in her hands as she sighed. Obviously, her efforts to appear unaffected hadn't worked, and if she couldn't fool a perfect stranger than the rest of her team had to know as well. They were likely just giving her time and space, remaining supportive without pushing her too far. She could appreciate that but she'd wished someone had told her how pathetic she was acting.
Winter didn't want her. Pining for the woman... there were better uses of her energy.
She leaned back to flop on her bed, staring unseeing at the ceiling once more. Anger spiked and mellowed in waves over different parts of the brief interaction- the slights against Winter, the teasing that she'd normally allow from friends but not strangers, but what stuck out most was her own foolish choice of words. Like an idiot, she'd gone with 'what's going on between us', an entire fabrication if ever there was one and wishful thinking getting the better of her. The Omega's propensity to go all in had created something within her mind, a give-and-take that never actually existed, and she kept buying into it just so she wouldn't feel alone. She felt so pathetic being this broken up over the whole ordeal still. What, would she just keep wallowing in self-imposed misery until her next heat, when she'd hopefully latch onto some other shallow attraction to a comrade? How long until she started baring her throat to that- that cocky brat?
"I gotta get over her," she said to the air, a frown tugging at her lips as she decided to turn in for the night. Yang didn't have much confidence in the words; two weeks later and she felt pain in her chest even glancing at the woman or catching her faint scent while walking through the hallway, especially now that the familiar scent had changed.
She'd noticed it after dinner, that strange addition that said the same thing but smelled different for everyone- the clear indication that the person in question wasn't available. For someone with a mating mark, it would be supplemented with the scent of their mate, a clear warning to any who might get too close without good reason that they wouldn't be welcomed. However, sometimes people just... developed the marker without a scent to accompany it, either through choice or by losing the bond that accompanied their mating mark. The Omega had expected it shortly after her heat ended; her unrequited mark probably upset Winter's body chemistry and, until it healed, the warning to others that she'd been marked would remain. Now that it had presumably disappeared, though, the fact the marker lingered worried Yang.
Just how badly had her recklessness hurt the Alpha? Or was this just the natural progression of the woman ensuring it wouldn't happen again, consciously swearing off even the chance to appear as a mate so they wouldn't run into another issue in the future? Considering their ragtag group consisted of mostly Omegas, Betas, and mated or otherwise unavailable Alphas, it would greatly reduce their chances of triggering another heat. It would be the pragmatic decision... which was probably why Winter made it.
Yang went through her nightly routine by rote, hardly noticing the flash of sensation as she detached her arm and set it on the dresser next to her bunk before settling down for the night. Faintly, it annoyed her that Stryker didn't seem like the sort to remove herself from the equation for the good of the group, but she pushed the thoughts from her mind. If she focused hard enough- if she truly began to believe her own words- then her scent would change, too.
Maybe then, she could move on and leave those shattered hopes behind.
They stood in the cargo bay, wearing the uniforms fished out from the bowels of the ship while Team SNOW demonstrated simple gestures- saluting, marching, standing. It all seemed ridiculous to Yang but she paid attention as best she could, occasionally glancing towards Weiss. The Alpha had accompanied her team but the anxiety showed plainly in her features; she did not like this plan, both because it separated her from her mate and forced her to stay as far away from the action as possible. She might have a comparably weaker constitution than the rest of her teammates, but Weiss would be just as eager to throw herself into harms way to protect them.
For her part, Blake seemed nervous as well. Part of it came from having her ears exposed- not entirely abnormal for Atlesian military forces but not... exactly optimal, either- and a larger part came from sensing her mate's emotions, her attention split between going to comfort the woman and paying attention to the demonstrations. Ruby, at least, seemed entirely invested, though the uniform made her look her age for once. That might prove a problem, though, considering the average age for new military personnel, but Stryker assured them it would be overlooked if they called her ‘baby face’ enough times.
Again, Yang couldn't help but feel like they were leaving far too much up to chance and hoping for the best. It chaffed at her, her nose scrunching up in distaste as the Atlesians demonstrated an about face for the umpteenth time.
"Right, then, now it's your turn." Nigel stepped away from the others, nodding towards their students. "Let's see what you've got."
One by one, they demonstrated the facing movement, until it was the Omega's turn. She did her best but the rigidity of the motion didn't sit well with her, and shifting her weight to one foot while turning around felt awkward with her right side being heavier.
"Try again, Yang." Stryker called out, a crooked smile on her lips. "Unless you want another demonstration?"
"Pass." She grumbled, trying a second time and proving no more successful for it. "Damnit."
"You're trying too hard," the Alpha said, starting to walk towards her. "Do it again. But, slower."
Blake and Ruby exchanged a look while Weiss pushed off from her spot observing, the rest of her team silently debating on whether or not to intervene. She hadn't divulged any information about their late night conversation the night before but they could sense the tension that radiated from the blonde growing the closer Stryker came. A snarl tugged at her lips, brows furrowing as she quite nearly started chewing the woman out, but a crisp order halted her in her tracks.
"Stop." Everyone turned to see Winter striding into the room, a duffel bag under one arm and a severe look on her features. "You're not going to get anywhere if everyone acts like new recruits."
Stryker opened her mouth to respond but obviously thought better of it, crossing her arms over her chest and ceasing her advance. Instead, Oswald piped up, motioning towards the bag. "So, what's the new plan, Specialist?"
"Give some of you a bit of clout." She dropped the bag on the ground and motioned for Blake and Ren to come closer. "Your cover story is that you're being assigned to the base but your transport came under fire, correct? No one's going to believe that a handful of fresh recruits managed to survive this far north on limited supplies without a superior aiding them." Kneeling down, she pulled out coats of a slightly different style, handing them off to the two she'd called over. "These will make both of you look like Sergeants. You're young but capable. Remember that you're elevated above the others; act like it, and no one will question you. If anyone asks how you survived, go with your gut, seeing as both of you have experience traversing Grimm infested wilds."
"That... does seem more feasible." Oswald admitted quietly, looking away when Stryker glared at him. "What? Walking in with two superiors is going to bail us out a little."
"You'll have a better cover than that." Winter looked over at Ruby and Jaune, grabbing something else from the bag. "You two, here: they're Engineer tabs. Put them on your shoulders. You'll be separated from the rest but most will assume you're a bit eccentric and leave you well enough alone. Just steer clear of anyone else wearing tabs like these and no one else will know the difference."
As the two started affixing the tabs to their shoulders, the Alpha pulled one last coat from the bag that looked much closer to her own. She started at it for a moment before standing. "Yang, this is for you."
"What am I going to be?" The blonde walked over, accepting the jacket and giving it a once over. It looked like it would be a bit tight around her shoulders but, hopefully, she wouldn't be doing much fighting in it.
"A Specialist." The woman clasped her hands behind her back. "Specialists exist outside the normal hierarchy and we're given a wide berth because of that. Between you, Blake, and Ren, no one will think twice about the group surviving and making it to the outpost. Your new cover story is that you're on a mission to drop off recruits and pursue Mantle purists in the area. All questions will most likely be directed at you, since you'll be the ranking member of the group."
"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Stryker rolled her eyes. "Put the Valen civilian in charge of actual Atlesian soldiers. Nothing can go wrong."
The Omega bit her lip. As much as she wanted to glare at the woman... she did have a valid point.
"Plenty can go wrong," Winter said, taking the criticism in stride. "And when it does, you'll have two Sergeants who don't care about their future careers and a Specialist who can benchpress a two ton truck." She turned her head, favoring her fellow soldiers with a sharp look. "I realize you four have yet to spend a day in the real military, but those aspects alone can get you out of a surprising amount of situations. A few more alterations and you'll have people jumping out of your way." She turned her attention to Oscar, who looked decidedly less mature than the rest of them, especially in the uniform. "I trust you've got your own plan."
"Uh, yeah..." He looked slightly concerned, one hand going to the collapsed cane at his hip. "It sounds risky but... if you can get us in, we'll manage. I'll manage. Whatever."
The young man didn't seem entirely convinced of that but the woman nodded regardless, looking to Nora next. "You'll be the communications officer. It's a fairly simple change; just tuck your lapels in and don't stop talking once someone asks you a question."
"Oh, I can do that!" The redhead smiled, though she tilted her head to the side. "But I can get kinda... carried away, until Ren stops me."
"That's precisely what I'm hoping for." The Alpha nodded. "It will help establish Ren as your superior and I'm sure your imagination can conjure up a suitably dire situation that you lot narrowly escaped. Just make sure that no one corrects her; everything she says will be taken as truth as long as no one objects."
"You really think they're going to buy this?" Yang couldn't help but ask, still holding the Specialist jacket in her hands. Especially given the confusion during Team SNOW's introductions, she didn't think an Omega could pass for a ranking officer in the Atlesian military.
"That comes down to you, really, and I'm confident you can pull it off." Winter favored her with a small smile. "I'll teach you what you need to do. In two hours, you'll be able to fool the majority of the Atlesian military into thinking you are exactly who you say you are."
The blonde struggled with a verbal response, at once wanting to agree, to bank on the Alpha's confidence in her, while also wanting to vehemently disagree, not looking forward to two hours spent with the woman. It would be torture but, at the end of the day, they needed to do this, and she needed every advantage she could get. With a stilted nod, she grunted out something vaguely affirmative and followed Winter out of the cargo bay.
Once they were out in the hallway, she found her voice, though it wasn't nearly her strongest. "We couldn't do this back there with the others?"
"They need to be surprised by your behavior. A Specialist being attached to the transport last minute makes far more sense than one travelling with the group for a long period of time," the woman said, leading them into one of the combat simulators. "If they appear unused to your demeanor, it will help sell the ruse."
"Fine." She sighed, rolling her neck. "So, where do we start?"
"The jacket, put it on." Winter turned around to face her, adopting a rigid posture with her feet shoulder width apart, hands clasped behind her back, and chin tilted up. "You need to associate this uniform with absolute power. We exist outside the chain of command and the moments we're subject to it are few and far between. Your mission supersedes that of others and the Atlesian military at large, no matter what it is. But you must carry yourself as if you're constantly aware of this. You're focused on your mission, you're mindful of your importance, and no one save for General Ironwood himself can dissuade your from your chosen path."
"I thought Specialists were just Hunters that decided to join the military." The fabric felt just as heavy as the other jacket but seemed to move a little better for some reason, but it still fit her tight across the shoulders. Styled more like Winter's, the first button sat below her diaphragm, effectively framing her chest much like her old jacket did, so she at least had that little bit of familiarity going for her. The long sleeves were a bit annoying though, and she could feel the cuffs pulling tight over Ember Celica. If she had to activate her weapons for any reason, the jacket would be a near total loss, especially her right arm. Once it sat on her shoulders well enough, she straightened up and cleared her throat. "How's it look?"
"Rather well. It won't draw anyone's attention as not being made for you, at any rate." The woman looked somewhat uncomfortable for a moment before her expression smoothed out. "And... that's not true, about Specialists. It's more accurate to say every soldier is trained to be a Hunter and given the option to fight only Grimm than the other way around, but we're... highly encouraged to stay within the military system."
Yang frowned, her brows drawing together. "That... doesn't sound very ethical. I thought Hunters were supposed to be neutral forces, belonging to no kingdom and standing strong for Humans and Faunus alike?"
"Admittedly, it's not. Ethical, I mean." The Alpha sighed, shaking her head. "I realize it may sound strange, but Atlas has always been concerned with consolidating its strength as much as possible. The Academy is geared to appear like any other to the casual observer but it... decidedly favors the military, and the majority of our tactics training comes from military doctrine. The Atlesian military is the most flexible fighting force in all of Remnant, precisely because we're training to combat both Grimm and... human adversaries."
"And no one knows?" As much as it struck her as strange she had to admit that it made more sense; how Ironwood could spare so many ships and soldiers for the Vytal Festival without raising a ruckus back in Atlas. It probably only constituted a drop in the bucket as far as the Atlesian military was concerned and most didn't even notice the absence. "That Atlas essentially is raising an army under the guise of protecting Remnant."
"I suspect others do know; they just can't prove it definitively." She held Yang's gaze for a long moment. "The first thing we're taught is loyalty. It's framed as loyalty to our team and the conditions under which we learn it are... harsh, but no more unorthodox than catapulting fresh students into a Grimm infested forest with only their weapons and wits to aid them. The lesson is burned deep and, after that, all it takes is one or two to express an interest in remaining within the military or offered placement in the Specialist program before the others follow suit. Our Hunters are usually those who couldn't make it as Specialists but don't work well with others either; they graduate thinking they've made the decision to pursue their own paths, never realizing that they only had the one open to them anyway." Winter pressed her lips into a thin line. "Those of us who can recognize the signs of subtle manipulation remain silent out of loyalty to the system or because we truly believe it does the most good. Sometimes, it's our only path to freedom, even if it is trading one set of chains for another."
Suddenly, it clicked. "That's why Weiss went to Beacon."
"Yes," she replied with a single nod. "She would never have reached her full potential at Atlas Academy. I embraced the system because it provided me with an escape but I never wanted my sister to follow me there." For a moment, genuine affection shone brightly in her eyes as her lips curled into a small smile. "She's so much stronger than I was at her age. A strong will, a strong heart..." Her expression slid back into that cold mask from before. "She would've seen through the guise and washed out, given subpar training and ultimately denied her dream. Or, she would've killed herself slowly by keeping silent and burdened with yet another set of standards she had no desire to meet."
Yang rolled the information around in her head before she spoke. "That's what you mean by Specialists being a big deal. They're the best of the best, good enough for three other people to follow them into the military, so everyone's going to see in me the reason they're out here to begin with, an ideal they're entirely committed to without question?"
"Precisely."
"Alright. I guess I can get that." She shifted slightly. "I don't agree with it, though." Smoothing out the jacket and trying not to wince at how weird having a sleeve around her left wrist but not her right felt, she continued. "So, should I stand like you?"
"No. Stand like you." The Alpha moved, striding around her while speaking. "Specialists are highly trained and individualistic to a fault. We wouldn't fit into the mold of a regular soldier but we're strong enough to survive on our own. If you buy into the lines, rather than wasting our potential, we're utilized in this capacity; given free reign to adhere to what regulations we choose and disregard those that don't appeal to us. It's an enormous responsibility tempered only by our devotion to our mission." Yang remained acutely aware of the woman's motions as she circled the Omega, following her as best she could from the corner of her eyes. "You're extremely driven, dedicated to your ideals, and stubborn; by all rights, you could've become a Specialist yourself had you grown up in Atlas."
"Comforting," she said, rolling her shoulders and settling for crossing her arms over her chest, shifting her weight to her left foot. If needed, she could quickly react, but she felt more relaxed now than standing flatfooted with her arms at her sides. "Basically, act like myself and if anyone looks at me funny, don't care."
"That's one way of putting it." Winter walked in front of her again. "We'll also need to pull your hair up into a bun."
Yang frowned. "Is that absolutely necessary?"
"Unfortunately, yes." The Alpha looked her over. "You still look like Yang Xiao Long, the woman who broke a man's leg on a Remnant wide broadcast. If we don't do something to change your appearance, you'll be recognized just as easily as Weiss or myself."
She immediately broke eye contact, looking down at the space between him. "He attacked first."
"I believe you." Slowly, she looked up, finding no hint of deception in the woman's expression. "It's clear the events surrounding the Vytal Festival were manipulated by Salem. That's in the past and we can't change it; neither can we expect everyone to accept your version of the events immediately. Avoiding someone recognizing you is the best option and, trust me, once you're sufficiently in the Specialist mindset, no one will even think to imagine what you'd look like out of uniform." Her lips quirked up into a slightly smug grin. "The majority of Atlesian forces are rather scared of us Specialists. Once you capitalize on that, you'll be fine."
The blonde rolled her eyes. "So, basically, walk around like I'm the biggest badass in the room, glare at anyone who tries to stop me, and answer every question with 'classified', and I'll be good, right?"
"It's a little more nuanced than that," the woman replied dryly.
"Oh, right. I suppose I should mention my mission once or twice, too, so that almost every answer is 'classified'."
Winter looked at her for a moment. "Wait, are you teasing me?"
The Omega cracked a small smile and shrugged. "Classified."
For a moment, she just blinked, and then a chuckle escaped her lips that made Yang's smile widen just a little. It felt good to see the woman in higher spirits, more relaxed and smiling. It felt like a small lifetime since she'd seen Winter smile and, despite the pain in her chest knowing this would be as close as they ever could be, it still felt good to be the cause of it.
"Well, if you're done making light of the situation, I'm afraid we've gotten to the part where things are a bit more... complicated." What little amusement had crept into her expression vanished by degrees until she had that serious look in her eyes, lips drawing into a small frown. "Specialists are generally alone for long periods of time and don't have the same bond that other military personnel experience in units. For Alphas, this isn't troublesome; we're inclined to acting on our own in defense of those we hold dear. Betas are decently suited to the task as well." She paused, as if searching for the correct phrasing. "As an Omega, this lifestyle would grate on your nerves. You wouldn't have the team structure you're used to, but you would still be protecting people. Omega Specialists are..." Winter sighed, reaching up to pass a hand over her face while sighing. "They can be some of the most terrifying people you'll ever meet. I've met two and if I never cross their paths again, I'll be all too grateful for it."
Yang's brows furrowed as she tried to search her memory. The list of people who intimidated her actually ran pretty short and, excluding Blake's former partner- the spectre of whom still lurked in the back of her mind- very few actually scared her. She certainly couldn't remember an Omega who'd done such; aggressive Alphas and Betas, sure, the ones who came on too strong sending an immediate spike of warning running down her spine, but she always dealt with them swiftly. In those moments, she could see where the people on the receiving end of her rage might be a bit intimidated, seeing as that was kinda the point, but imagining the circumstances that would lead her to feeling like that all the time or push her to a higher level in the first place...
And then it struck her. Those Omegas likely had to spend the majority of their service on suppressants but that wouldn't negate the innate need for companionship. Even Blake, quiet and reserved as she was, wouldn't be able to remain entirely solitary for long. They might enjoy their company different ways- the blonde preferred the loud and boisterous kind while her partner opted for quiet contemplation- but they both needed to be around others. Bereft of anyone, however, would be awful, and the only time she'd consciously avoided others entirely directly resulted from her disastrous heat.
They couldn't fit into the soldier mold because they either couldn't or wouldn't trust others around them, so they retreated from the world. They'd be angry, resentful, caustic to any who dared interact with them.
"I'll need to be mad the whole time," she said, looking up to see the twinge of regret in the woman's face. "No one wants to deal with a ticked off Omega, right?"
Maybe it counted as a low blow because she couldn't keep the accusation out of her tone. Even if it was for the best and what she wanted... the only reason she felt a little bit of resentment towards Winter for not returning to check on her and sending Weiss in her stead came from a misbegotten idea that the Alpha should've seen the thing through. A ridiculous notion, really, but having to hunt her down after the turmoil passed... it hurt knowing that she wasn't worth dealing with that fallout, even if all it would likely amount to would likely be summed up entirely by the words 'bad idea'. It just came back around to the fact that they weren't mates, weren't anything, and it would've been easier on both of them if Yang had just suffered in solitude. Then there wouldn't be this awkward barrier between them caused by the events of those few days.
"Yang." Blue eyes searched hers for a moment and she caved almost immediately, preempting the apology she could sense coming.
"I shouldn't have said it like that. I'm sorry." The Omega waved a hand before running it through her hair. "It's like you said- it's in the past. We both... I made a mistake and you were doing your best. No going back to change it." A shrug. "The best we can do now is move forward. Right?"
A voice that sounded suspiciously like Blake chided her, saying that this didn't constitute 'talking it out' but she ignored it.
Winter watched her, something flashing across her expression- some sort of regret, that much she could tell- before she nodded. "You're right. Mistakes happen; it's best to forget." Her posture straitened, her voice taking on a crisp edge once more. "But if you happen to be holding onto any anger, I'd suggest keeping it a little longer. It'll help you infiltrate the base." The Alpha hesitated, apparently debating something before she spoke. "It will behoove you to practice in full uniform a bit. That includes your hair." She cleared her throat, coughing into one hand. "May I?"
She hesitated. No one had touched her hair aside from her in years. Not even Ruby- her sister understood that she didn't like it, so she never asked. The only exception happened to be their father, and only because Yang didn’t have her other arm. However, the stakes were a bit too high to balk over being a little uncomfortable. "Yeah. Alright."
"Excellent. Go ahead and sit down."
Considering the lack of chairs in the simulator, Yang had no choice but to lower herself to the floor, crossing her legs as best she could in the tight uniform pants. "How do you stand wearing these?"
"It comes with practice," the woman replied, coming up behind her and kneeling down. "I'll do my best to be gentle. Feel free to correct me if I'm not."
The Omega offered a grunt in response, trying to hide how she'd resorted to breathing through her mouth. Honestly, she couldn't tell whether it was a better or worse alternative, reminded for a moment how the woman tasted when she'd marked her. An itch to bite down tickled at the back of her mind, but she'd just be gnashing her teeth, so instead she focused on the long, lithe fingers carefully combing their way through her locks.
She realized her mistake too late, her eyes almost falling closed. True to her word, Winter carefully tamed the blonde's wild mane with nothing but her fingers, muttering something about using a comb to make it more presentable next time. Every time she winced at the tiniest tug, the woman had already stopped and smoothed the affected area out, offering a quiet apology. Yang didn't really get the whole 'mutual grooming' thing, allowing her mate or even a close friend to mess with her hair just seemed like a recipe for disaster.
But this was... nice.
"Your hair is beautiful. How long have you been growing it out?" Winter kept her voice soft, as if doing her absolute best to preserve the tentative peace between them. They hadn't been this close since their spar and not since their coupling before that; perhaps the woman felt as if walking on eggshells around each other was the only option left to them.
Maybe, while en route to their next battlefield, they could work out something different. For now, it seemed like the best option, so she replied in kind. "Since I was a kid. I get it trimmed up every few months or so, usually, but it's been a while, and Ruby's not the best barber."
"You've let her cut your hair before?"
"Once. When we were really young." Her lips curled into a smile. "As a matter of fact, that was right around the time I realized I don't like other people touching my hair."
"Weiss mentioned you're rather particular about it. I thought it odd but now... entirely understandable." The snap of elastic procured from somewhere preceded tension at the back of her head, and she winced at the reminder of those few months when she couldn't put her own hair into a ponytail and had to ask her dad for help. He never complained and said it was 'good father, daughter bonding' but all she could focus on was the sense of helplessness. By the time the strands were being wound up into a bun, the melancholy had passed. "It doesn't get in your way while fighting?"
"Sometimes, but once my semblance kicks in, it just... behaves, I guess." She shifted slightly, contemplating if she should dare continuing the conversation before taking the plunge. They'd have to start acting like normal people around each other eventually; as long as she kept herself firmly reminded of the strictly platonic nature of their interactions, she should be fine. "What about you? Does it... feel weird having your hair down now?"
"Weird is a good word for it. I've worn my hair up for so long, having it any other way felt very strange at first," the Alpha replied, a slight wistfulness in her tone. "But I suppose a prisoner might feel the same with their shackles removed. Having it down... I feel freer, less restricted."
"Well, I think your hair is beautiful, too, up or down," she said, and immediately wanted to slap a hand to her face.
Good job. Exactly the sort of flirting you should be doing around the Alpha who rejected you. Way to not come across as pathetic.
Predictably, the woman took her compliment in stride. "Thank you."
Yang felt a slight tug, wincing and using it as a cover to let out a sigh as relief suffused her being. Somehow, that had slid past without further comment and she felt grateful, because trying to explain herself would've been a nightmare and a half.
The snap of more elastic followed by a small hum brought her out of her head. "I think that's the best I can do without a brush. Tomorrow, I will ensure it's perfect." Winter stood up and walked around to in front of her, straightening out her jacket. "Now, stand up, and when you do, do it as a Specialist. I have absolute faith in you."
That makes one of us.
The blonde took a deep breath, trying to bring out her anger consciously. Pushing it down, that came easily, but turning it on... not so much. She usually reacted to something, but the times before when she'd gotten angry didn't seem strong enough to last- the bar, the tournament, those were too brief, and the idea of Blake being in danger brought back memories of Adam, which sparked anger and fear in equal measure.
Instead, she thought back to a few weeks prior, the self loathing rolling through her in waves. She remembered the moment when she fully prepared to lash out at Winter- the woman who'd supported her as best she could in the circumstances and didn't seem to hold her foolishness against her- and every damn mistake since. As she got to her feet, she remembered Stryker's attitude the night before, her insults against the other Alpha, and how much it hurt that she felt compelled to defend someone she'd insulted herself, turning against her when she'd only offered to help.
When she opened her eyes, they were blazing red and fell on Winter with all the weight of a fully loaded airship. Her right arm snapped into a salute as she spoke. "Specialist Betrugs, delivering new recruits." She paused, lowering her hand and furrowing her brows slightly, enough to convey annoyance. "How's that? Do I look the part?"
The Alpha appeared entirely caught off guard, posture straightening the moment Yang's eyes were on her and chin tilting up a fraction. Something flashed in her eyes, darkening them for a brief moment, before it seemed to be chased away. Finally, she seemed to register the questions directed at her.
"Perfect." Winter blinked, shaking her head slightly and clearing her throat. "You- yes, you look the part. Do that tomorrow and no one will think twice about your story. That was an excellent example."
Releasing a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding, the Omega rolled her neck and allowed her anger to dissipate. "I'm not sure if I can keep that up for hours on end."
"You really only need to bring it out in full force when others are around," she said, coughing into her hand and smoothing out her jacket once more. "I'm confident you'll be able to manage. Once you're within the perimeter, most will steer clear of you anyway."
"You have a lot of faith in me," she said, rubbing along the back of her neck. Having nothing but the cool air hitting it felt so strange and it would likely get worse once she was out in the elements tomorrow.
"I do," Winter replied, a small smile on her lips when the Omega looked up. "Xiao could I not?"
Yang blinked. "Did you just make a pun?"
"Well, turnabout is fair play, is it not?" The Alpha's smile widened as the blonde shook her head.
"For the record, you Schnees are really bad at them." She couldn't help the little chuckle that accompanied the words. "So, what's next?"
As the impromptu lesson on Specialist etiquette continued, Winter's smile didn't fade, and she found herself wondering if perhaps getting back to normal between them wasn't as out of reach as she'd previously thought. Besides, if she couldn't have the woman as a mate, she at least had her confidence as a comrade-in-arms and that could be just as good. Not what she wanted, but something all the same.
When the lesson ended and they exited the training room, Yang tried to walk away without saying anything more, but her gut betrayed her, twisting into knots until she spoke. "Hey, Winter?"
"Yes?"
She turned to look at the woman, glad that the tightness at the back of her head had disappeared the moment she'd taken the bun down. Even though she could feel nothing but relief on a physical level, it still made her a little sad to have already lost any sign of the woman's work wrangling her unruly hair into something neat and orderly. "Thanks." The Alpha raised a brow. "All that talk about loyalty... abandoning your post to join us must've been a harder decision for you than we initially thought. I'm just..." She offered a small shrug. "Glad you came with us."
Winter paused for a moment before smiling, her shoulders dropping slightly from their severe line. She'd fallen back into a few old habits during their little session but they seemed to slide away as that twinkle in her eyes from before came back. "Surprisingly, it was the easiest decision I've ever made. As much as I'd come to believe in the Atlesian military, I believe in other people more." She turned, heading towards the cockpit. "No matter what, it's a decision I won't regret."
Yang watched her go with a pang in her heart. One day, the woman would make the ideal mate.
Just... not hers.

2. Power
Before buying a product, make sure that its power level is good enough for your intended use.
As a beginner, you don’t need much power. But you should get a gun with a power level that won’t frustrate you when you become an airsoft expert.
Look at this…
FN Herstal will keep you active for as long as possible on the field. The high tension spring eliminates gas canisters and batteries that often bring discomfort to airsoft players, especially beginners.
The magazine holds 50 rounds of BBs and has an internal spring. When we loaded the magazine with 0.12g BBs, we got around 300 FPS. So we recommended that you use 0.20g-0.25g BBs, which will shoot as fast as 400 FPS.
These BBs will fly as long as you pull the trigger. By pulling the trigger, the spring compresses, and the pellets fly out.
This gun’s manufacturing operations are such that you can shoot 120 rounds of BBs per minute if you’re very fast.

3. Range
The FN Herstal rifle has a great FPS and covers a long range you can use even to snipe.
Here’s the thing…
When we picked up the product, we expected it to shoot 300 FPS. That’s because of what we saw on the box. But testing it out on the field revealed the gun’s actual velocity. It shoots as fast as 400 FPS!
But of course, a gun’s FPS isn’t the only thing that determines how far the BBs can go.
FN Herstal comes with a stock you can adjust. It also has front and rear sights for better precision.
These features, alongside a sturdy rail for optics and scopes will help you focus better and help you cover plenty of range.
Plus, if you use the right millimeter ammo, your BBs will stop where you want them to. You can shoot beyond 20 yards using 0.20g BBs.
Twenty yards isn’t much compared to other airsoft rifles. But this one has features that will cater to your specific needs as a beginner at airsoft.

4. Versatility
FN America LLC manufactured the full licensed FN Scar L for airsoft nuts that want a gun that performs exceptionally for both newbies and stars.
Although lightweight, this product is resilient and will shoot through the hardship of even death matches. Plus, its compact build makes it the best for CQB.
The high-powered FN America airsoft rifle shoots at 400 FPS and will hit targets from a distance.
What’s more…
Without charging batteries or carrying gas canisters across your yard or an airsoft field, you’ll stay in the fight all day long.
Adjust the folding stock to your convenience, and use the front and rear sights to zero in on targets.
The airsoft rifle doesn’t come with an adjustable hop up or scope. But the ergonomic pistol grip you’ll get alongside the side rails, which allow you to attach flashlights, sights, and scopes will cover for its missing features.

5. Durability/ Workmanship
FN Herstal Scar airsoft rifle is one of the most durable airsoft guns you’ll find on the market today.
Constructed with high-quality polymer, you can be sure that this product will serve you even during harsh conditions.
We took this gun out on several battles, and its sturdy built stayed put. Each time we loaded the magazine with BBs, we were surprised at how newly the gun felt in the hands.
The BBs did not jam, and the folding stock never bent or broke, even with all the pulling.
Here’s the truth…
Because of how low its price was, I thought it would perform less or last only a few games. But no, this gun chugged on.
The Picatinny rail stayed strong even after we mounted the accessories. And the hi cap mag stayed strong even though we had to load it with BBs several times.
Overall, this gun is durable. You won’t have a problem cocking to shoot each time. We’ve tested it, and the trigger’s proven to be tight- it won’t give way.

6. Ease of Use
One of the things I enjoyed while testing this gun was how easy it was to use.
The FN Herstal airsoft rifle shoots 300-400 FPS, using 6 millimeter ammo. That should hit your targets fast enough.
It doesn’t stop there…
The gun has a folding stock you can adjust to any length you want. That way, it’s easy for you to carry whenever you’re going for practice or want to join your buddies for a fair game.
The gun’s front and rear sights make it easy for airsoft players to aim at targets better. You’ll get your targets in clear vision, and the ambidextrous fire control helps you shoot at them easily, whether you’re left or right-handed.
Also, the vertical foregrip will help you control the gun quite well. And the ergonomic pistol grip helps your stability and support.
As a beginner, you’ll love this gun because of features like the reversible charging handle that allows you to customize the gun to your preference.
