Hey, hope you’re well. I was wondering if you’d be able to share the top six pokemon used in each gen? It’d be interesting to see the most used teams.
I am, thank you, I hope you are as well!
I'd be happy to ^^ I usually put the top three in each Stat Post I do, but top 6 to make a team makes a lot of sense!
I'll list my parameters below, then the teams! Let me know if there's any adjustments you'd like ^^
If we're looking to make a team, I'll skip over any repeats in evolution line (i.e. if Ivysaur is most popular, I'll skip over Bulbasaur and Venusaur)
I'll separate it into two categories; By Percentage and By Vote. By Percentage is the overall combined 'yes' answers in comparison to total votes received, where By Vote is the total combined 'yes' votes
Since Gen 8 & 9 are still ongoing, we'll just do Gen 1-7 for now!
By Percentage
Gen 1: Eevee, Bulbasaur, Gyarados, Pikachu, Charmander, Zubat
Gen 2: Cyndaquil, Togepi, Mareep, Crobat, Umbreon, Chikorita
Gen 3: Ralts, Roselia, Mudkip, Combusken, Treecko, Poocheyena
Gen 4: Shinx, Lucario, Piplup, Starly, Budew, Turtwig
Gen 5: Oshawott, Snivy, Litwick, Sandile, Zoroark, Lillipup
Gen 6: Fletchling, Fennekin, Sylveon, Froakie, Goomy, Noibat
Gen 7: Rowlet, Rockruff, Popplio, Litten, Pikipek, A.Vulpix
By Vote
Gen 1: Eevee, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Pikachu, Gyarados, Pidgey
Gen 2: Mareep, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Crobat, Umbreon, Togetic
Gen 3: Treecko, Gardevoir, Mudkip, Torchic, Mightyena, Zigzagoon
Gen 4: Lucario, Togekiss, Luxray, Garchomp, Empoleon, Chimchar
Gen 5: Sewaddle, Oshawott, Snivy, Pidove, Scolipede, Zoroark
Gen 6: Sylveon, Fennekin, Gogoat, Fletchling, Xerneas, Froakie
Gen 7: Decidueye, Lycanroc, Primarina, Salazzle, Litten, Mimikyu
Some possible adjustments I could make is to limit certain things, like only one starter, no repeat types, or something of that nature, if you'd like more variety or a more feasible team

¿which pokemon would make the best service animals? (i think you’re the mutual best qualified to answer this question)
I think it depends on what kind of service you need!
Umbreon and Espeon: Guide Pokemon and/or emotional support, since both of them evolve with high friendship.
Sylveon would be good for regulating anxiety or panic attacks, since they use their ribbonlike feelers to calm others.
Chatot can mimic human speech, so it could be used alongside an AAC device for nonverbal Trainers.
For people who can't really use their hands, Pokemon such as Simisage, Simipour, and Simisear would be helpful.
Any of the canine Pokemon (Growlithe, Rockruff, Yamper, etc...) would be good "service dogs."
As far as types go, I think psychic-types and fairy-types would make the best service Pokemon.
Below is a full list of "service animal" Pokemon.

Wigglytuff
Meowth
Persian
Growlithe
Arcanine

So this Au still needs a name, BUT
I have figured out what Most of the pokemon evolved from! It only took uh, lemme look at a clock, a week or three!
For those not interested in clicking a link, it's a pokemon/dc crossover but pokemon is straight up just a Gotham thing. Like, the flora and fauna and everything else have become corrupted/ mutated/ adapted, etc into strange creatures with stranger abilities thanks to the chemicals, magic, death pits, curses, and everything else all mixing together.
So anyway, have a list of what each pokemon originally were before Gotham got a hold of them. Some things brought into Gotham (such as via zoos, museums, or rogues or whatever) and others always there. Do keep in mind I am (mostly) not including Legendaries because I'm still not sure if I want those in the Au yet lol.

⏵Most non-sapient plant variation has happened in things such as berries & fruits
⏵It’s noted that many of the creatures show signs of convergent evolution to other animals & plants, especially in further mutations
⏵Several animals & other things not native to Gotham or New Jersey were brought in as experiments or for the Gotham Zoo which were affected over time
Like IRL Animals & Plants, They Can Have Mutations & Color Variations:
Normal color/Pattern [Very Common]
“Shinies” [Uncommon color variant]
Piebaldism/Vitiligo [Patches of no melanism]
Albinism [No melanism]
Leucism [No melanism save for eyes]
Melanism [Excess black]
Erythrism [Excess red]
Axanthism [No yellow & more blue]
Xanthochromism [Excess yellow]
Chimerism [2 offspring fused]
Gynandromorphism [Split & both male/female]

hi my older sisters have a litten and a sprigatito and next month my mom is making me get a starter but I want a cat but I dont want the same cat as my sisters do you have any advice about the brst way to run away from home
That's not the correct way to go about it???
I won't pretend I know your home life, but this does seem a bit extreme. Maybe talk with your mom about other starter options? You don't have to stick with the classic trio they present you. I have trainer friends who were given family pets as starters, or they literally went out and caught the first Lillipup they saw.

i like to imagine how exp/evolving & ageing in a more ‘realistic’ pokemon world would work.
im my head i imagine that wild pokemon would naturally evolve and age at a steady rate, they would play-fight & naturally encounter evolution requirements as they get older and just experience more stuff.
whereas trainer pokemon would potentially evolve faster as they are being trained in specialised locations & scenarios specifically to boost exp; thus gaining experience faster than they would in the wild
so theoretically you could have a trainers primarina that is younger than a wild popplio. Though I imagine this would also take into account lifespan, like how butterflies in real life live short lives and most of thier life is spent as a caterpillar. So caterpie in the wild are more abundant than beautifly. That could mix together with pokemon with longer lifespan/longer time growing up needing more exp to evolve naturally. This kinda already happens in the games like some mon need to get to lvl 50 before they evolve where as some evolve at lvl 15.
I also like to think that more domestic mon that counter real life domesticated pets (like puurloin, lillipup, meowth, ect) wouldnt be often found in the wild so their ages depend on if they are just at home pets or trainer pokemon used for battles. Also some people might give them a collar with an everstone to prevent them from evolving ! would be good to give to a litten owner, especially if their litten gets out of the house a lot. who knows how much exp hes grinding.
