Before the finale, here are some of my theories for Loki:

the Loom is evil and it must be destroyed. The right way. Right now it’s acting like a dam and if you just recklessly destroy a dam, you have an environmental disaster. There’ll need to be a controlled demolition, which leads to my second theory…

… maybe they’ll prevent the Loom from existing in the first place. That would be a mess but a great potential for sci fi technobabble and timey wimeyness, which is always fun. I don’t know what that would mean in terms of who goes back to their og timelines and who doesn’t, but I suppose it could be either “those in the eyes of the storm are unaffected” or “time travelers pass through time differently”. Yes, I’m a Doctor Who fan, how can you tell

Loki will have a “with great power comes great responsibility” moment, because although the show isn’t actually spelling out that power is corrupting him, I am a bit weary that (again, Doctor Who fan):

he called himself a god in response to “we’re playing God” (hubris alert!)

when given the chance, he tortured someone for information

when given the chance, he took people from their timelines, with no desire to return them (sure, he said he was giving them a choice and it was to save the fucking Loom, but Mobius was distressed about leaving his children behind, and Loki didn’t care) (Doctor-like behaviour alert!)

Things will work out when Loki and Sylvie find a middle ground. He was doing the right thing (trying to not let the universe get spaghettified) for the wrong reasons (so he can have his friends back in their brainwashed TVA lives), and she was doing the wrong thing (unknowingly letting everything fall apart), for the right reasons (FREE WILL). There has to be a better path and I think it will be the middle one, when they’re working together

The Avengers 2012 era was the best time ever in the fandom

Thor loves pop tarts, Clint lived in the vents, Bruce and Tony did science together, Steve was the mom friend of the team and did art in his free time, Natasha was cool aunt of the team, Loki was there too and a bunch of other characters like Peter, Sam, Bucky, Vision and Wanda all lived in the Avengers tower together

It was a much simpler time where everyone in the fandom was chill and having fun together
