The sudden question had your eyes widening as you stared at your boyfriend, dumbfounded by his more violent urges.

"Mattheo, what the fuck?" You screeched, playfully slapping him upside the head, to which he groaned and scrambled away from you all the way to the other side of the bed.

"It was just a question, baby, jeez." He scowled, crossing his arms and pouting at you from across the bed. "It doesn't even have to be somewhere visible!"

"The fact that you want to carve your name into my skin tells me that you are indeed in need of a lot of therapy, my love."

Now that had him lunging at you, and you gawked, trying to get away before he could tackle you. "Get away from me, you heathen," you hissed, kicking at him when he managed to snatch your waist with his hands, pulling you towards him.

"Yeah well, this heathen stole your virginity," he tickled your sides, reveling in his sweet revenge. You groaned, kicking and swatting at him like a cat, to try and escape.

"Says the one who used to sneak in and jerk off with my panties!"

Josh is heading west to see his friend Niall for the winter (nonsexual). If Niall lives 433 milks away from Josh's house, and Josh wants to get to Niall's house as quickly as possible (for nonsexual reasons) and wants the most economic option, which train should he take?

Train A: travels at a speed of 300 mph and makes 2 stops that take 40 minutes each to let bunny rabbits cross. The ticket costs $95 for adults but incurs a $2 discount if you have both of your big toes intact.

Train B: travels at a speed of 55 mph and makes no stops but serves fish which makes Josh sick, and the ticket is $54 dollars for adults.

Dick: petty, therapy, it all the same really.

Jason: will you kill him if he does become evil?

Dick: well, if he like, Catwoman or Harley level, then no. Above that I'll question it, and if higher than yeah I'll kill him.

Riddle HCs

Sharing a couple headcanons i have because Riddle is my favorite twst character and has been since day 1

• He has naturally wavy hair but straightens it

• Riddle has very faint freckles on his cheeks and across his nose, they're just barely visible when you get close to his face

• His favorite drink is a shirley temple, he first tried one at the mostro lounge when Cater forced

• Has a small collection of stickers in a sticker book, the collection first started when Ace gave him a hedgehog sticker (Floyd gave him his second sticker, a goldfish one, because he got jealous and, despite Riddle protestinf, he ended up keeping it)

• Kept a journal when he was a kid that included his time spent Che'nya and Trey, it was hidden under his bed and his mother never found it, but he stopped writing in it after his mother learned about him sneaking out (he started a new one after his overblot)

• Riddle sometimes watches educational children's shows (like Wordgirl, Super Why, Little Einsteins, etc. They exist in twst simply for my angsty headcanons) and movies because he never got to as a child and they bring him comfort

• He went through a very short phase of wanting a lip piercing, simply because he heard of someone who had one (either a character in a book or maybe his mom telling him about a patient) and thought it would be cool (sometimes he still wants one)

• He'd never admit it aloud but when Riddle orders a strawberry tart from the Mostro Lounge he always hopes Floyd makes it since his taste the best (this is my only slight FloRid headcanon im including. Sue me i love them)

• Riddle loves flower meanings and researched them a bunch when he was younger. He always puts in a lot of thought into flower bouquets

The Dark lords nanny - upcoming fic

-(y/n) had known Tom during school, being his age and in the same house, she'd grown up with him and watched him become a dark, tall, and handsome young man. He disappeared soon after graduation and soon after the name 'Voldemort' began to echo through the wizarding world, the new dark lord.

And (y/n), a for-hire nanny/governess, gets a curious call from someone she once knew, an offer to be Voldemorts, or as she knew him-Tom Riddle's, live-in nanny for his newborn son, his heir.

she takes the job, it's good money with a nice room and free food, and the place she moves into, the dark lord's new manor, is very nice and big-she hardly interacts with him anyway, giving all her attention to young Mattheo who grows quickly and gets attached to her like super glue. so far, she has no regrets about being the Dark lord's nanny, and she's only 3 months in.

What she doesnt know however, is things between her and the dark lord-her boss-are about to change.-

I think I found some interesting fun mathematical problem, and I could not find any literature on it.

Ok so I was thinking about the two guards riddle where one always tells the truth (guard T) and the other always lies (guard F). These guards protect a crossroads where one road is correct and lets you live and the other leads to death (or at least, wasted time). The worst part: you only have one yes-no question to ask.

The (or at least a) correct answer to this riddle is no doubt familiar with several of you: Ask one guard "If I asked which road leads to freedom to the other guard, what would he say?". This works as follows:

- Asking this question to T will lead to them saying the wrong road, as that is what F would say.

- Asking this question to F will lead them to lie about the correct road T would point to, saying the wrong road.

In either case you get the wrong road, so you simply pick the other option.

Now here is where it gets interesting, how can we generalize this problem? One way to do this is to increase the number of guards as follows:

Suppose we have k guards, with n truth-guards T and m false-guards F (n,m > 0 unknown) guarding two roads. Can we find the correct road with one yes-no question?

The main trick employed in the 2-guard problem cannot be used as it relies on there being exactly one guard of each type. However, if you ask two random guards there is now a possibility they are a TT or FF pair, in which case they will point to the right road instead.

I tried finding some kind of nested question ("if I ask the guard on your right: if I ask the guard on your right what road leads to freedom") but couldn't quite put my finger a good question to ask. Another promising method would be to incorporate some kind of boolean operators (such as AND and OR) to make a perfect question, however this turned out to be hard to do for arbitrary k.

I would love the input of anyone reading this who found textwall this interesting!
