Between the Covers

howdy, i wrote another tentoorose thing! this is inspired by my job at the bookstore, and by a weird idea someone had that rose doesn’t like to read. rated e, smut and fluff 💜

Rose Tyler had always loved books.

As a child, she was enchanted by pink books with glossy pages and the glitter that adorned their covers. She was even more captivated by the mythical creatures within.

Unicorns, dragons, and mermaids.

Rarely could mum afford to buy as many as she wanted, but she always had enough from the charity shop to keep her entertained. Their covers may have been a little worn, but it was what was on the inside that mattered.

As time passed her passion for stories faded, but never went away entirely.

It wasn't until she met The Doctor that she understood that she didn't just want to read about adventures, she wanted to live them.
