Something unremittingly bleak about a goddamn country starting "crisis actor" conspiracy theories to deny their crimes. A term invented to deny the deaths of children at Sandy Hook in 2012 is now used to deny the deaths of children in Gaza in 2023.
As the community note says, this isn't a crisis actor. This is a guy who posts on Instagram. A influencer who posts videos online of breaking events...is seen at a lot of breaking events. To Israel, this is a sign of a conspiracy. In fact, some of those images aren't even him, or aren't even related to Palestine at all; one image included in other posts targeting Saleh Aljafarawi is a Halloween costume from Thailand. That article says "pro-Israeli accounts" tweeted this, but it's the literal, official Twitter account of Israel posting this shit, next to their comedy sketches that somehow make trans people the punchline bc fascists only have one joke the whole world wide I guess
Like. It's not new for a government to deny the reality of its atrocities. It is new for that government to outright use a conspiracy theory term devised by Alex fucking Jones, or to, when called on doing so, defend it as a "meme" (also bizarre to see hardcore Zionists use a term crafted for especially antisemitic conspiracy theories). Everything rancid about the world in 2023 congealed into a single tweet, right here

Have you seen this tweet/picture providing evidence that UNRA is working with Hamas?
Tumblr media
This evidence was created by Dr. Eli David on Twitter proving that Hamas is working with the UNRA on Jan 27 a day after the UNRA announced that nine countries has suspended their funding after accusation of Hamas working for UNRA
Tumblr media
Source
When I first saw this post I found this really suspicious as the UNRA had just announced their situation and the allegations against them. So with the help of Reverse Google Images I manage to find out that the so-called "Hamas militants" are actually the Rafah police.
The picture was from the Rafah Police Facebook account with the captions translating saying they are sending aid into Gaza back in Jan 10 on a Facebook post.
Tumblr media
Source
As of right now the post has gain over 1 MILLION views, 12.2K reposts, and 381 requotes with NO COMMUNITY NOTES debunking this post.

"The future is plural" movement from endos is CONCERNING
regardless of the fact they do not believe you require trauma to be a system (medically impossible) this proves they want to groom kids into identifying as endo and spread their medical misinformation further.
as well as causing real systems to believe they dont have it bad enough to be "traumagenic" (the only "genic you can be. this language is bullshit im just using these terms to explain their shit), preventing them from getting real help. they are WIDELY anti-recovery.
their misinformation has ALREADY endangered real systems medically as they have made professionals skeptical of a medically proven disorder, a disorder that is already very stigmatised.
outside of just endogenic misinformation, this statement leads to the idea that they want to traumatise kids to make more systems.
ENDOS ARE FUCKING DANGEROUS

Why are sysmeds still this bad at sources?
Before getting to their source, let me just say...
Tumblr media
The Future Is Plural!
Deal with it!
Tumblr media
If you can't read the pictures, that's fine. The actual text and what they say isn't super important. Because it's a bad source. What you need to know is the address.
Tumblr media
I'm unable to find an About Us page on this website besides this little note at the bottom.
Tumblr media
Which really doesn't tell me much About Them.
The Twitter is tagged with #abuse and #survivors though, but not anything about psychiatrists or psychiatry.
Tumblr media
As far as I can tell, this website is NOT RAN BY ANY PROFESSIONALS.
You may as well have just cited a Tumblr blog or a Carrd. It's equally as credible.
And the sysmed justified it by claiming it's a valid source because they're the first two pages on Google!
Tumblr media
"If you deny a random website I found by nonprofessionals, you're an idiot! It was at the top of Google so it must be true!"
Sorry, that doesn't magically mean it's a good source.
If you want to read the actual DSM, try instead Googling 'dsm-5-tr pdf'
That will give you a link to the most up-to-date version of the DSM in full.
STOP TRUSTING A SOURCE BECAUSE IT'S THE FIRST THING ON GOOGLE!
Also, why the weird pivot from "endogenic plurality doesn't exist" to "endogenic plurality exists but isn't a system" in the same post?
Tumblr media
Oh, hey! It's been a while since I've seen the "casually calling all spiritual plurality 'closed' to insinuate endogenic systems are appropriating closed cultures by being plural for spiritual reasons" move.
It's every bit as absurd and laughable as the last times I've seen sysmeds trying to pull this!
Also, even if the screenshots were actually from a trustworthy source, they still wouldn't be from a relevant one. It only discusses DID and doesn't address the question of non-disordered plurality at all.
Tumblr media
Yeah, that checks out.
To the OP, if you want to venture into syscourse, you have to learn how to find actual trustworthy sources!
And to anyone else, always check websites and the credentials of their publishers! Don't trust everything you hear on the internet! If someone links a source, be sure to check the link and see where it's from!
Always think critically about the information being presented to you!

Not only that you do NOT know what punk means, but everything you said can be easily debunked.
“appropriating cultural beliefs”, oh, you're talking about tulpas? Tulpamancy is NOT a closed culture since no Buddhistic practice was EVER called like this. Ans Buddhism is NOT a closed culture.
https://www.tumblr.com/sophieinwonderland/730911019702091776/1-unless-youre-a-tibetan-buddhist-monk-you-are?source=share
https://www.tumblr.com/sophieinwonderland/706426041178161152/please-stop-claiming-to-be-plural-having-your?source=share
Saying it is one is like saying French culture is a closed one.
“harassing people with stigmatized disorders” I would like to see proofs of that. On the other hand, anti endos are constantly calling (pro)-endos delusional, schizophrenic, psychotic, and sometimes even the r-slur.
“forcing people out of their own spaces” I would also like yo see proofs. If you're talking about the "systempunk": you can't be punk if you are anti-endo and invading bigotry "safe places" is not bad.
https://www.tumblr.com/sophieinwonderland/753722190440120320/hey-coming-from-an-endogenic-system-could-you?source=share
Meanwhile, anti-endos are actively invading the pluralgang, plural, actuallyplural and such tags when they are pro-endo.
Here is the definition of punk:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are posts to see why anti-endo CANNOT be punk.

Another stuff: misinformation about the origins of system hopping can be easily debunked.

Rough TL. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL ENGLISH ANNOUNCEMENT TOO JUST TO BE SURE!!!!
- Nyanko Wars (Guild VS Guild event) next week. Only top 16 guilds of each server can participate in this event. (TL notes: They've received quite the backlash for this limitations so it might change again in the future)
- Dev is trying to provide a story every month.
- After Episode 7, there will be some episode related to the season (in the story?). After that, it'll be the finale of Season 1.
- Season 2 is planned to come after.
- Regarding spin-off / side story events: the devs currently don't have the resources to produce and supervise them as, without compromising the quality, they can only release one episode / story per month.
- This might change in the future as the team grows but for now, they're asking for your understanding of their limited abilities.

the importance of basic fact-checking
it's kind of crazy how doing research to learn if something is bullshit or not is not, like, a thing most people do as a matter of course?
for example, let's say someone says "did you know that in the medieval era, people used to sleep for a few hours, get up and do things for an hour, then go back to sleep?"
now, you might say "wow, that's really interesting!" and you might tell your friends about this cool fact.
but this factoid, if it is untrue, might give someone a distorted view of history, and of sleep. it might make them think that perhaps people in the medieval era were healthier because of this sleeping pattern.
so, you google it. or you duckduckgo it. whatever.
and your searching may take you to the Wikipedia article for polyphasic sleep. and this Wikipedia article contains a section dedicated specifically to this topic.
you may learn that this idea that people in medieval times slept in two phases is in fact a theory put forth by the historian A. Roger Ekirch, which suggests, based on 500 historical references, that this biphasic sleeping pattern truly existed, though it is as yet unconfirmed - until the nineteenth century and the advent of electric lighting, he suggests, these two distinct sleeps a night were common.
what you may also learn, is that Ekirch also believes that the way we currently sleep is actually way healthier for us, and believes that it contributes to our longevity.
and of course, we must not forget that Ekirch is a historian, not a scientist, much less a somnologist, and while his theory is interesting, it is not actually a medical prescription one way or another.
this is just one example - it is common to see people claim certain absolute facts about history or science, and extrapolate from that information some kernel of truth about how we ought to live our lives, how we ought to live in accordance with "our nature" (which is, in fact, mutable).
scepticism is something you have to practice at. you have to get a nose for sniffing out bullshit. you need to learn how to engage with novel information in a way that is not credulous, but questioning it. i am not saying question everything - that way lieth conspiracy theories - but i am saying that before you uncritically believe a claim about the world, you have a personal responsibility to read further into it.
and if you don't have time to do that, then you shouldn't believe everything you read, and you certainly shouldn't spread misinformation.
in our modern world it is easy to instantly share information without running background checks on it first. this is a major drawback of "reblogging" and "retweeting". so, the next time you see something like this, look into it.
remember that there is no Santa Claus. and the world is no less beautiful for his absence.

I want a banner that just says "I stand with SAS" cause honestly seeing how many anti endos are flipping their lid because of SAS is wild. Like that is a blog concerned with CDDs, misinformation, and people not being asshats. If you can't agree with that blog, there's no hope for you in syscourse.

Debunking theories surrounding the death of Suki and Robert
As much as I don't like to talk about this topic, but for the longest time I feel extremely weird from the theories I heard surrounding the death of Suki and Robert. A lot of the discussions I heard online are nothing but speculations. So I'm here to slightly debunk that and talk about the misogyny Suki faced even after her death.
This is based on my research. If I got some of these wrong feel free to correct me
The most popular speculation was:
"Suki drove herself and her husband off of a cliff, reportedly because Robert told her he had wanted a divorce."
This came from whodatedwho website, iorr.org, and some Facebook comments.
First thing first, none of these sites are reliable sources. Anyone can put anything on whodatedwho website without any sources whatsoever, iorr.org are basically just people discussing about the stones, and Facebook comments is self explanatory.
Second, the divorce thing feels odd because according to this person on iorr.org: Robert apparently told Suki that he wanted a divorce so Suki pulled at the wheel of the car and it went over a cliff?? Now let's put our logic hat on, when they died how do you know he asked for a divorce? Even someone in that discussion asked the same thing. This was all speculation.
Third, there was no mention of a cliff when they died. According to the South China Morning Post: “The son and daughter-in-law of Macau’s casino boss, Mr Stanley Ho, have been killed in a traffic accident in Lisbon,”
it says it right in the title and the article ROAD AND TRAFFIC accident. Now where did the cliff come from? Literally nowhere.
I find it odd too that some people or the Chinese media have been blaming Suki for the death of her husband. She has been called a "Husband killer" because of the death of her previous boyfriends, Tara Browne and Brian Jones, and now her husband. I was in shock seeing that because I never thought they'd do that to her. Reminds me of how people always blame the woman every time their rockstar partner die on a accident, suicide, drug abuse, etc. It's extremely misogynistic.
Whatever happened to Suki's previous partners was all an accident. Tara died due to a car accident, Brian drowned (which btw she wasn't present there so I don't get how they could blame her for this) and unfortunately her and Robert died in the same fate as Tara did. None of these deaths are her fault, she already went through a lot before she died. We should not let her go through that even after her death. She is an actual person who deserved better in life. You have to remember her daughters might see the things you say about their mother.
Let's not share misinformation, let's celebrate and lift up how wonderful Suki is as a person, have some respect 👏
