Is it just me or do endos just post the most surface level things about plurality??

I saw a post saying "Plural culture is having to explain to your friends why you sometimes don't remember things and act different."

Like sure that's true but it's like one of the most well-known things ever, it's been said hundreds of times.

It honestly strengthens my belief that these people really don't know what plurality is beyond Tumblr and maybe a Wikipedia page or two. It just makes it seem like they didn't put much effort into learning what plurality actually is beyond the most well-known things about it.

Okay so I have this very very very good friend and ever since he formed we were super close. He suggested the name for our Undercity layer (yes, it's Zaun!! It kinda looks like Zaun from Arcane except more elegant and there's moon magick and such it's amazing)

Anyway so we visit each other in headspace like every day, we're pretty much glued to each other's side atp. We always sit together and he talks to me about his source, his inventions and experiences and all that. And sometimes we just read things that interest us or go for walks or we visit the planetarium/library together. Now recently the hugs we shared have evolved into actual cuddling and shit and omg I could not be more excited.

Every time one of us feels shitty we always go find each other, or when we're excited or nervous or anything at all. We've grown so so close over the years and I'm literally developing feelings and idek what to do atp-

And then there's Dennis and Bucky and they're so cute together omg!! They're sourcemates. Basically Dennis was an OC we made and we introjected him first and then Bucky as well and when they were "reunited" it was so cute- Dennis was actually host for a while before he got any of his memories back and when he became a caretaker he started to get the memories again, and then we introjected Bucky. They're both old asf (107 y/o both) and they always tell our little Julie about their time in the 30s and 40s.

They both used to be real casanovas, and they caught each others eye because of that and became close friends. They would always hang out and there was this diner they started to visit every saturday where they ate pancakes. The waitresses knew them by name even. And Dennis told me that their first kiss was in that diner too. They were sitting in the very back and there was no one there, and then Dennis just put his hand on Bucky's thigh and when he looked at him he kissed him. I wish I could've seen it omfg-

Then they also enlisted together and they were separated and there's a whole trauma story there where I won't get into detail, it's not my place to talk about it either. Anyway it's HYDRA and war stuff.

And then Steve rescued Bucky and then they came back for Dennis. When they were both out and recovering they started to get the memories back that HYDRA wiped, and they fell in love all over again it's too sweet omg-

look back month challenge, day 2: what is your oldest toy (chronologically)?

this is a little bit of a guess, but probably nori, who is my only resin bjd. as far as i can tell, he is a dream of doll ivan/kirill, released in 2006. i bought him at a charity shop for 35€ about two years ago, so i don't have much info about his past, but his vibe is definitely that of an old doll somebody outgrew years ago & that ended up donated to the shop and sold at the price range of a mass produced porcelain doll.

i didn't think to take a proper before picture, but i do have this one a friend sent when he first found the doll. the styling was wonderfully 2000s, and i wanted to give him a similarly classic bjd aesthetic -> went for a dragon boy. i dyed him & made all the mods, clothes and accessories.

the little dragon may also be a contender for my oldest toy; it's customized from an unidentified thrift store find that seemed quite old.

How much of your campaign is RAW, how much is other people's homebrew, how much is your own homebrew?

it's actually almost all raw! i changed a few things for sensitivity issues (i can't dm the incest and racism in the module, and my players didn't want to have to play through it either so it worked out) but it was mostly just taken out. the exception are the belviews who can't just be taken out, so i made them be the survivors of the berez flood with their own reason for wanting body mods that my players don't know yet. still not the most normal folk, but the abbot does treat them kinder than in the module lol. the biggest thing i homebrewed was putting escher in vallaki because a player wanted a slowburn romance with a vampire who wasn't strahd, but don't worry he had a bad reason to be there and it hasn't been easy for them. other than that, it's almost all RAW, but not just what the module says, if that makes any sense? i did some extrapolating and connecting things to characters' backstories, but it's nothing that isn't at least implied in the text or that you can't connect some dots for (and. getting rid of the something blue. sergei's still there, ireena just doesn't do that. just because the module doesn't understand her narrative purpose frfr)

i use three homebrew things: the lunchbreak heroes VR's tower, as well as their idea of doing quests for the revenants to set them free (just tweaked to fit our storyline a bit more), and the interactive tome of strahd but i don't remember who made that one (but again changed to my liking)

OH lastly i also made arik talk. not much, and not saying anything of value, but it led to an iconic conversation where they were taking notes so i went "it's arik. with an a." and they nodded and were like "right a-r-i-c :) thank you" so i had to go "it's also spelt. with a k."

3. What did your players do with Doru?

it's a bit of a mystery to them exactly what happened after they left. one player convinced the party to leave him alive, and the vampire in the party gave donovan a little written note on how often he'll probably need to be fed. she had good intentions but it certainly changed how things are in barovia the village right now

5. What's the biggest curveball your players threw at you? Or just something wild/funny they did?

i was surprised by just how much they try to have minimal impact. i don't mean it in a negative way, they just really go through the world trying to keep the status quo exactly where it is with the reasoning that everything will get better when they kill strahd. they do good turns here and there for sidequests (the revenants, the martikovs, arabelle) but when it comes to big actionable things like vargas vs fiona, izek wanting to protect ireena, and the abbot, they try really hard to get everyone to just put everything on pause until strahd is dead

but for an actual curveball, they went back to the abbot to get lydia's dress at one point, and they pulled a rules lawyer move on him. "we didn't say how long we would let you borrow the dress for." the abbot as i play him could only just

and return the dress. he doesn't like them any more. they're bringing the dress back to him though after realizing it's probably a good idea to have someone who can cure all diseases and raise the dead on a whim on your side.

7. What's your named character death count so far? (Players, friendly NPCs, villains.)

surprisingly low! 5 iirc. one pc, one npc related to that pc (rue and mikael respectively), father lucien, lady wachter, and kiril. related to the previous answer i guess, my players really try to navigate as quietly as they can through the world, and those were just these situations that were unable to be dealt with without death. they didn't even kill the hags! (strahd was the one to kill lucien, to clarify. my players liked him)

Feels. Been in the server for years. Only won one raffle. Which is def strange to me. But Ive watched the same individuals win quite often. Youd think itd be fair tbh, as its ran on the LK. But it still fckn sucks watching at least 2-3 people win every cga batch, or raffle in general.

As for Saunt.. Most people have to contact the mods to get anywhere. Which is insane. They are left to run the species and deal with members being upset, etc. Its completely unfair. Many have suggested MULTIPLE times even to get more help, hire and train people. Considering the lack of prompts for nearly the entire year... Youd think theyd be able to get some help trained.

I enjoy the little buggers. But the species itself needs so much help.

They are incredibly stubborn when it comes to hiring new mods. All of the mods chowlings have are mods from symprites, they run the server more than saunt does dispite half of the team being non-existant and also moderating for symps. Kirill has been the most active recently and jyph is just useless and probably only used for their art ability. Dont get me started on Bat, Newt, Sharktuna, and stardonyx I dont think I see any of them do anything dispite their role. Its been suggested many times but they refuse. 🍈

The introjects, the "cringe" ones, everyone that would get me fakeclaimed, are all still here. They help me, and that's all that matters.

My brain decided to create what it thought would benefit me, and no one can change that. Neither can I, no matter how much I might want to sometimes.

I fucking love letting everyone sign off on every post, with dividers and all to fit their style. I don't give a shit how "fake" it makes us look.

I have to deal with this shitty way of living, might as well make it bearable by using those templates and dividers and making it all look good. It gives me something to focus on other than the bad things.

Am I the only one who’s kinda pissed at chow mods. They were so strict about getting all these CBC chows tagged and new designs like that Viktor or Ford chow (sick designs btw) are instantly tagged. But of course the mods/friends have chows that they don’t tag themselves? Oh but of course some people wouldn’t get striked cause theyre the mods friends so its all ok probably. So confusing.

I actually dont know much about the CBC stuff going on with the mods not tagging their own designs. I was looking at Okos gojo chow but it's been tagged and everything to an oc in her toyhouse. 🍈

adding onto this; almost all of fenokeys chows are cbc, or have a separate character added to them (which needs to be labeled as well), but not a single one of them is labeled. same with mod kirills. it’s so obvious there is favoritism ! and you know for sure they aren’t getting the mentioned strike as well 🍋
