my angel baby
(alastor w/ angel daughter reader)
[caution!!: EPISODE 8 & 6 SPOILERS. NOT PROOFREAD]
(notes: alastor joins charlie and vaggie in heaven to convince them about the hazbin hotel. angel reader physically resembles a fawn. )
(right now this is considered a oneshot, unless there is a very high demand for a part 2 I'll happily make another one for funzies!)
(PART 2 IS OUT!!!)
(also apologies if alastor's last name isnt actually altruist LMAo I kinda just wrote it assuming so 😭 )
You made it to heaven, lucky you.
Heaven was surely a treat, you lived your days with the upmost happiness, the light of heaven shining on your skin with kisses as if praising you for your goodness and your sacrifices,
all your sacrifices.
You were currently taking the job over for St. Peter at the gates of heaven for just a few minutes to await for any wondering souls to appear, to help guide them while he came back from a lunch break. Normally they wouldn't allow a human soul like yourself with little experience in this kind of task to take charge of such an important job, but you were close to many of the high ranking angels and you have proved your proficiency in tasks that you set your mind to, so you were glad to help those in need.
You stood there reading through the millions of pages looking over all kinds of names, all seemed like names that you wouldn't normally hear back in your time when you died. Some you liked, others didn't exactly pique your interest much, but the advancement of names since the 1930s surely proved how much times have changed and how quickly time seems to pass in heaven.
You wonder if it is in hell too.
'Hell?..' you wondered as you shook your head and sighed, your mind has been on that place lately and you wondered if it was even worth the rent free space in your mind.
You were currently slouched over the book and decided to close it with a glum look on your face, your elbows now resting on the golden podium and your hands cupping your face.
Geez, and you've been thinking a lot about your old man.
What-- no wait-
You shouldn't call him your old man, let alone your dad, not even father, pops-- not even by his damn name.
Even so, as much as you hated it.. you couldn't help but still use his last name sometimes since it's what you were given when you were first taken in.
Your last name?.. why, you're forgetting already?
_____ Altruist is who you a---
"HELLO??"
You snapped out of your thoughts as your head slipped from under your palms, face planting onto the cover of the enormous book. In embarrassment you snapped your head back up and your wings followed suit, spreading open behind you in shock as your eyes searched for the voice that called out to you from below.
You finally darted down to see three oddly shaped figures, your panicked vision soon relaxing to see two girls and a man dressed in red from tip to toe.
How peculiar.
Your eyes only set on the girl at the moment since she was the one waving at you and basically begging for your attention.
"Hello hello! uh.. Down here!" The girl with long locks of pale yellow hair waved, her smile widening when seeing she's caught your attention.
"Ah- yes yes! Hello hello! Welcome to Heaven! May I.. uh-" you scrambled nervously to open the book in the middle of it, "May I have your name please?"
She nodded, also returning a bit of a shy attitude back "Yes of course! My names Charlie Morningstar!"
Just like that you flicked the pages to go to the names that sounded similar to the girl's, mumbling her name under your breath as your finger traced down each name on the list.. to your dismay you couldn't find it.
"You don't seem to be on the list ma'am.. how weird.. does this usually happen with St. Peter?.." you spoke in concern, mumbling the last part to yourself.
The girl then started to explain something about her dad getting her a meeting, your mind a little clouded still trying to find her name until you heard the forbidden name that no one inside the pearly gates ever attempted to say out loud.
"-- maybe try, Lucifer.. Morning...star-"
And just like that you slammed the book closed, no words coming out of your mouth but an exasperated look of shock freezing your face.
"Oh-hoho... that explains so much--" you gave her a small sheepish smile, awkwardly looking off to the side where your eyes couldn't help but drag themselves to the man dressed in red.
"Miss you don't think.. you could've..." your eyes at first looked at the man's waist, his coat lightly shredded at the ends and the stripes of the long suit guided your eyes upwards "-gotten..." up and up and your eyes met his. The red eyes, the ears, the small horns, the horrific aura, and..
Oh dear, you'd recognize that damned smile anywhere.
"--lost..?" the end of your sentence dragged on, taking a long while to finish since all you could think about is how this man is at the front door step of the place he shouldn't even be considered in being let to enter.
Alastor, your father from the living realm. Not connected by blood but by life and connection.
The man where you got your last name from by being taken in and called his daughter.
The red deer demon seemed to recognize you as well, a spark in his devilish eyes proved it so, but it was very brief since he more or less also seemed to relish the look on your face with his smile stretched further up.. however further up it could get.
Charlie seemed concerned at your reaction, waving her hand in front of your face gently as if to get you out of this trance. "Heyyy... are you okay?.." she asked with genuine worry until all of you were focused away from this bizarre moment when a set of three angels befell before you all. The two seraphims and finally-- St. Peter off from his break.
"_____. We can take it from here, we appreciate the help." The highest and oldest seraphim announced your name and her appreciation while gliding down a bit more earlier than the blonde angel you covered for, she and the younger seraphim's forms going from their true to more human-like appearances.
"_____! My dear friend thank you so much for covering for me, always a real helper you!" St. Peter popped beside you as he praised you while gently flying beside you, you looked up at him with a small nervous smile before opening your own wings to flap down from his podium and let him get back on the job.
"It's no problem at all, you know me! Always.. happy to help.." you spoke your last words to him before your wings gently took you down to set yourself beside another one of your friends, Emily! You never talked much to Sera that wasn't in a formal setting but Emily seemed so easy to get along with. She gave you a tight squeeze of a hug while saying hello which eased your nerves a bit more, of course they never fully disappeared with the man who ruined everything before you let out your last breath.. standing right in front of you.
The man that brought you up here in the first place.
The seraphims introduced themselves to the three residents of hell, the deer demon more quiet until finally finding a spot of silence to jump in and introduce himself as well.
"Why hello, a real pleasure meeting you two quite the pleasure! Never thought I'd ever get to see an angel up this close in my life HAHA! The names Alastor!"
The voice, the radio static over it, his name.
It was him, you recognized it as if you listened to him on the radio just yesterday, your own personal hell.
Whatever reaction or words the higher ranked angels said seemed to fizzle out of your brain as they were replaced with the memories of your last moments on earth.
------------------------------------------------------------------
"Father!" you screamed as you ran up to your childhood home, the home to which you were raised and kept in, your home in which you lived in with your father, Alastor Altruist.
For sometime you had suspected foul play when it came to your father's weird actions when the night came, the tone he spoke through his radio show when announcing several murders happening across and haunting New Orleans. You just didn't want to truly believe that the man that found you, a poor little orphaned baby, and raised you would do such disgusting and diabolical crimes.
You couldn't believe it.. until you finally saw it.
Your legs scrambled and fought each step to become faster, finally reaching the door of your home you slammed it open with a strong kick after jiggling the doorknob didn't work.
You knew the next murder he would commit would happen in your home.. you thanked whatever force that made you disobey him and look through his study since if you didn't you wouldn't know that right now there was blood to be shed.
The door opening and with your kick full of adrenaline and panic it made the door barley cling onto it's hinges. There your father was, on top of a wounded man that seemed to be gurgling and gasping to breathe as the victim attempted to claw at Alastor's grasp. Pieces of glass and wood broken across the entire floor, walls bloodied and worn out, pictures that hung neatly now cracked and lopsided or shattered on the floor.
Whatever happened in here, the victim was sure a fighter in the beginning.
You immediately without hesitation with full force pushed Alastor off the man, pulling the bloodied stranger by his wrist. The victim and you stared for a moment, him mostly realizing that he's being saved by a young girl like you. His lips parted to thank you but you could see Alastor raise his kitchen knife in the air and sprinted toward him to stab him on the back.
With no words left to share or spill you grabbed the stranger by the shoulders and with all your might pushed him and yourself away so that in the end Alastor ended up stabbing nothing but air.
Alastor grunted in frustration, his bloodied smile yet never faltering despite the challenge you now gave him.
The man snapped his head at you, eyes fixated at you before snapping back to his victim and raising his knife up once more, in a haunting motion his steps creeped and creaked towards the injured New Orleans citizen stricken with fear and terror.
Just like that, Alastor slams his knife down with no hesitation. The knife fully in his prey with no inch of the blade uncovered.
Oh-- wait.
That shriek, the sobs, the shaky breathing and the coughs of blood.. that wasn't his victim.
It was you.
His daughter, he stabbed his daughter.
For a moment you could see his crazed smile falter, the humane part of him uncovering itself for a moment, for you.
His little girl was covered in her blood because of him, the little baby he found on that cold rainy day is dying because of him, his bundle of joy that he took years to take care of is leaving him.. and it's all his fault.
He didn't know it was you-- he didn't know you'd be that stupid to sacrifice yourself for some random prick.
He didn't know that in the end, someone as evil as him could have raised someone as selfless as you.
"p..papa..?" you whimpered, your painful coughs of blood spilling out and going down your chin and your neck. "It hurts-- g.. it hurts so much papa.." you cried as the knife in your chest seemed to feel as if it was melting into your skin, becoming one with you. It obviously wasn't but the pain was just that painful.
Alastor's smile faltered and kept trying to stay up, his own set of tears falling down his face and onto your cheeks that were slowly losing life. Regret stabbing his own heart the way he did to yours. He let go of the knife and instead cradled you in his arms, just like how he used to when you would have nightmares as a little girl.
"Shh.. Shh.." he shush you softly as he gently patted your head, moving away any uneven strands of hair he could spot with his hands trembling in regret. "Little one.. don't worry about a thing, papa's here.. " he mumbled, the gentleness replacing what once was pure aggressiveness.
Your eyes slowly started to flutter closed, your pulse slowing down, breathing less profound, your limbs going limp, and your face.. contorting into a peaceful state of slumber.
Alastor watched as you passed in his arms, his faltering smile picking itself up once more to stretch itself across his face with tears pouring out his eyes. This wasn't a smile of joy, it was a smile to hide what he truly felt.. to lie to himself. "My little angel, forgive me please."
Those were his last words to you, words that in the end you couldn't hear.
And that man he tried to kill earlier? He escaped when he was given the chance, Alastor was sure the cops were to invade his home soon.. now there was just one thing left to do before he'd be found once again to pay the consequences.
He took your body to a beautiful forest filled with flower meadows. Alastor knew this was one of your favorite spots as a young girl, why not let you rest here.
Ah but as he was preparing to bury you in your final resting place... that darn deer hunter.
Well, you know the story. Mistaken for a deer, shot, that's the end of Alastor Altruist and his darling daughter, ______ Altruist.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you stood there you were awoken from your thoughts with the high angels escorting the princess and her other female companion into the gates of heaven, St. Peter welcoming them humbly with one of heaven's popular songs.
You were frozen, in shock. A chill went down your spine as you felt a foreign energy come closer.
You felt long fingers grapple themselves onto your shoulder which made you dramatically turn towards the hand and away from it.
Your father wanted to talk to you.
Your contrasting colors and appearances made this reunitement even more uncomfortable for you, his demon form seeming to match his disgusting self that he hid from the human world before.
His face was hard to read, especially with that signature smile of his that even in death he would never get rid of.
"Little one, my darling daughter.." he spoke, his voice seemingly trying to seem genuine but the radio filter over it made it feel condescending to you.. as if mocking you.
The look on your face was evident, you missed him so much but hated him with your entire being because of that hidden side he kept for years.
He continued "My little ____... out of all places I never thought I'd see you here. Oh but it's definitely much better than down under my little dove.."
Geez what was he even saying?? What were his intentions..?? You couldn't tell.. after all this time, you couldn't forgive this man, this serial killer, this demon, this.. monster. You couldn't.. not this soon anyways.
You took a deep inhale and exhale before fixing your posture and stance, trying to seem more professional and confident. "Sir, your hosts and companions are ahead of you. You wouldn't want to miss your introduction to a place you'll never see again after this day." Your voice stern and professional, trying your best to be void of emotion.
"Darling.. is that truly a way to greet your dear ol' father?" He spoke, hand stretched out while the other held onto his staff.
"Your friends are waiting on you, don't be late Alastor."
Just like that you turned your heel and gave him the cold shoulder, your wings spread and started flapping. Taking you up and away further into your home.. Alastor watched you as you left him once again, this time by choice.
Ah but he knew, he'd have his darling daughter back soon. His little angel that he cared for will forgive him.. he knew you had to.
With his grin widening even further he walked to catch up to the Princess of hell and her partner into the pearly gates, to see what other thing could entertain him while his daughter snapped back to her senses.
(hello!! thank you so much for reading I had a blast with this. as you can tell. once again thank you so much for reading! hope to see you soon! mwa mwa!)

Tumblr media
The world was going crazy over Harry Styles becoming a dad.
And the fact that the picture he posted on his Instagram to announce it gathered over 30m likes, making it the 10th most liked picture on the platform’s history proved it.
However, his millions of fans all over the world weren’t the only ones feeling absolutely ecstatic over his wife being pregnant with his first child, his family was also losing their minds over the news.
The Styles family loved YN to pieces, and not only Harry’s nuclear family consisting of his mom and sister, his extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins and even family friends had grown to love the girl over the years. So when Anne called up to invite them over for one of her famous get togethers, they were over the moon because they knew the couple would be there and they would catch a glimpse of a pregnant YN for the first time.
“You ready, love?” Harry said as he entered their shared bathroom where his wife was applying the finishing touches to her makeup.
“I am, just need to spray on some perfume and I’m good to go.” She said as she turned around to face her husband, and when Harry got a proper look at her his breath almost hitched in his throat.
She looked absolutely breathtaking with her navy blue sundress and the brand new bump that adorned her body.
Harry swore that he had never seen someone more beautiful.
“Look at you, darling.” Harry simply said, putting a hand on his chin, looking at her almost in disbelief.
“What? Do I have something on my face?” YN joked for a moment, battling her eyelashes at him.
“No, you’re just the most gorgeous woman on this earth.”
“And you’re a total sap, let’s go, I don’t want us to be late.”
The car ride to Anne’s house was nice, their favorite soft tunes and small talk filled the air until they got there, and before getting off the car, Harry took a moment to reassurance his wife about the evening.
“If you feel uncomfortable or want to rest let me know immediately, okay? I don’t want you or baby to be overwhelmed.”
She pecked his lips softly before speaking, “We’ll be good, don’t worry.”
They got off the car and we’re instantly met with Anne waiting for them by the door, a fond smile on her face at the sight of two of her favorite people.
“I’m so happy you made it,” she said as he hugged Harry first, “Darling! You’re absolutely glowing!” she hugged her daughter-in-law, gently caressing her bump.
“Thank you, Anne. It’s so good to see you.”
The three of them headed to the backyard where the rest of the guests were mingling, and once YN stepped foot all eyes were on her, complimenting how beautiful her bump looked.
“YN darling! Long time no see!” one of Harry’s aunts approached her, hugging her before placing a hand on her bump.
At this, she immediately tensed, not used to anyone aside from Harry touching her bump.
Harry noticed it and he placed a hand on her back protectively before speaking, “We’re going to sit down for a bit, the missus is a bit tired from the drive here.”
Once they were seated next to Gemma and her boyfriend Michal, YN squeezed Harry’s leg gently and gave him a soft smile, as a way to thank him for his previous action.
The evening went on smoothly, they ate Anne’s delicious food and engaged with family they haven’t seen in a while.
However, every time someone came close to YN, trying to touch her bump or just invade her personal space, she grew more and more uncomfortable.
“Your bump is getting so big!”
“Is the baby kicking yet?”
“I miss having a baby bump.”
Were some of the comments YN had heard all day long, and by the time another of Harry’s aunts tried to approach her, she had enough and quickly exited the backyard before she could reach her.
“Love? Are you okay? Saw you running away back there.”
Harry’s voice made its way to her ears, she was leaning on the kitchen counter, her back facing him.
“I’m okay, just needed a breather.” She said, her eyes closed and still not facing him.
“Hey,” Harry slowly approached her, standing next to her but not touching her, “Can you look at me please?”
YN slowly turned around, and once Harry saw her watery eyes with tears threatening to come out, he pulled her to his chest.
“What’s going on, love? What made you upset?”
YN took a few breaths before speaking, “I just, I’m not used to anyone but you touching my bump and being close to me, and your aunts have been all over me all evening and I guess I got overwhelmed,” she sniffed before continuing, “I’m sorry, I don’t want to be rude to your family but these hormones are acting up.”
“It’s okay love, nothing to apologize for,” he pecked her forehead softly, “Do you want to get out of here, we can leave now.”
“No, we don’t have to leave,” YN interrupted him, “Can you just, stay next to me when we go out there? I feel safer when you’re close.”
Harry almost melted at her words, and she grabbed her chin and kissed her lips softly.
“Of course, my love. I’ll always make sure you and baby feel safe and comfortable.”
And with a final shared kiss, they headed out again, Harry staying by YN’s side the entire time, making sure she and his baby were always safe.

Charlie getting concerned over Lucifer's insistence on proving himself as Alastor's partner to Susan:
-
Charlie: Please dad, c'mon. This isn't worth it!
Lucifer: Charlie. She called me a gigolo. A gigolo! I don't even know what that means but I know I can't let it stand!
Charlie: Who cares!? Susan's mean to everyone! Even if you did somehow get her to like you she'd still be a mean old bitch to you!
Rosie: She absolutely would.
Lucifer: I just need to get through to her that I'm not just playing around with Alastor's (probably shriveled) heart! Cox isn't even that great, he's clearly just as bad as Susan thinks I am! Maybe, no, definitely worse!
Charlie: Wh- You don't even like Alastor!
Lucifer: Not the point.
Rosie: [Chuckles while Charlie groans.]
[Suddenly the doors burst open and Alastor storms in, murder in his eyes.]
Rosie: Enjoy your date, hon?
Alastor: Rosie dear, if you must revel in my suffering, I'd honestly rather you use pliers to remove my fingernails one by one.
[The door bursts open again and Vox and Susan stroll in, smiling and chatting.]
Vox: Oh Alastor, you left the very expensive gift I got you in the car!
Alastor: (through gritted teeth) That's very generous of you, but I-
Susan: [Growls and raises her umbrella threateningly.]
Alastor: ...Thank you.
Susan: (sweetly) Aw, what a nice young man. I don't understand why you two didn't work out.
Susan: (angrily, to Lucifer) Unlike this fuckin' cheapskate over here.
Lucifer: I built him a whole new radio tower!
Susan: Pssht. That fuckin' eyesore? I wouldn't let a pig live in that sty.
Alastor: [Actually likes the new radio tower but refuses to say so.]
Alastor: Well as lovely as it has been to spend time with the both of you, I believe it's time you were on your way. Vox does have quite the hectic schedule to return to, no?
Vox: Alas, being the CEO of a multi-million dollar corporation does eat up one's free time. If only I could spend all day locked up in my mansion playing with toys-
Lucifer: [Eye twitch.]
Vox: -or better yet, doting on you as you deserve. But you're right. I really should be getting back to my important work. It's been just wonderful to see you again, Alastor.
[Under Susan's glare, Alastor holds his hand out for a handshake. Vox takes Alastor's hand, bows, and raises Alastor's hand to his mouth for a kiss. Alastor goes rigid and flashes the radio dial eyes but before he can retaliate, Vox pulls him close and wraps his free hand around Alastor's waist.]
Vox: Until next time, Alastor~
[Vox leaves, shooting a stunned Lucifer and an infuriated Alastor a smug look. Susan is oblivious.]
Susan: Such a romantic. I might just snap him up myself at this rate!
Alastor: By all means, don't let me stand in your way.
Susan: [Swats him with the umbrella.]
Susan: Don't give me that cheek, boy. You're lucky Vox is willing to give you a second chance after you broke his heart! I hope next time I see you, you've pulled that fuck-ass bob outta yer ass and dumped the gigolo.
Susan: [Leaves.]
Alastor: ...Well, if you'll excuse me, I need to go run my hand under boiling water for an hour.
Alastor: [Leaves.]
Charlie: ...Dad?
Lucifer: Yeah?
Charlie: (eyes red, horns out) Destroy that motherfucker.
Lucifer: Oh, with pleasure.
Rosie: (sipping her tea) Oooh, things are about to get really interesting...

Moon Boys with a Pregnant Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: mentions of pregnancy and reader being pregnant
Author’s Snip: Something wholesome to go with the previous headcanon about calling them your husband.
I’ll shut up now. Enjoy! And don’t be afraid to request.
Tumblr media
Steven Grant
Absolutely over the moon
I've said it before I will say it a million times more, Steven wants to be a father SO BAD and he wants as many as you two can manage. So when you're pregnant he shakes with joy
Steven makes it his job to make sure your pregnancy is the easiest it can be
He looks up remedies for any symptoms to help ease them and consults on mom forums to ask for advice on what he should be doing
Steven also researches the development of babies in the womb, like their size at each point in time/stage, what they're able to do, all that
To him, the best and most important part is when they start to kick and hear. Once the baby can hear he makes sure to talk to your bump so that they're used to their voice. It's as wholesome as you think it is, man is just yapping like he always does.
"When you're out here it's going to be great. We have everything ready and set for you."
Steven starts making a picture book so that the baby can look through it when they're older and also have memories. Marc and Jake make fun of him for it but they look through the photos that he's put in already like the first sonogram and the progression of your bump with side notes like "You're about the size of an apple in this one."
Steven gets a bit of a spending addiction once it's time to start buying stuff. He can't help it. He'll be there at the store and passes the baby aisle and he sees all the cute onesies, clothes, mobiles, and the tiny little shoes. My goodness, the tiny little shoes.
You have to tell him no and it breaks your heart a little to say no to him, but you already have like three baby mobiles and plenty of clothes.
Steven is honestly the dream father. All the women in the vicinity of you will see you and him out together and come up saying that it's so nice to see a man taking care of and being so involved in the pregnancy
When you're close to being due Steven can hardly sleep. What if you go into labor right now? Or in the middle of the night when he's out. Or what if you sit down too fast and that triggers it to start. Honestly, you need to tell him to calm down
Marc Spector
Marc makes it his job to take care of you and protect you
You know the deal. Marc's anxious about being a dad and that he's going to do it wrong or not protect them, so he starts being protective of you while pregnant to feed his need to be protective and prepared. It's nice and all but when you first started out he was a bit in your space
Eventually he tones it down but he is still being a bit of a guard dog
He closely checks all the food while you're at the grocery store to make sure nothing is in there that you and the baby aren't meant to have
Also, you will always get the lighter bags. Always. Marc will carry all the heavy ones and no, you can not convince him to let you carry one bag. You're carrying the baby, that's the only 'heavy' thing you should be carrying
He's also very picky and methodical. Steven said that pregnant people 'nest' but it seems like somehow Marc has taken most of that
He cleans everything until he deems it clean enough and places things in spots that "seem right". However, when it comes to the placement of things in the nursery he always asks you for your opinion because you, as the one carrying the baby, get the final say
When your baby starts to kick and your baby bump gets more prominent he gets all soft and mushy, emotional even. He was just preparing for something that he was expecting but now he knows that this is real. You're actually pregnant. You're going to have a baby with them and raise a child together.
It actually makes him cry, in a good way, because this is his chance to prove himself of being worthy of having joy and happiness to himself
For a good long while, Marc spends his free nights laying with his head next to your bump and just basking in the feeling. He talks to them too.
"It's just crazy to me because... you're there. You're actually real. You can hear me and you can kick and all that. And when you come out I can hold you and you can make noise and cry and squirm around. It's crazy. You're real, and I'm your dad and I'll get to see you grow up and teach you how to be a person."
When you're close to being due, he and the boys make a go bag so that you can be ready for when you go into labor but Marc sort of falls back into the intense need for preparation that he gets anxious over it and will check the go bag over and over and over again to make sure everything is in there
You need to tell him that it's alright and that the things in the bag aren't going to sneak off somehow
Jake Lockley
Jake makes sure you're happy
In his mind, there's no need to stress over the baby's growth because the doctors and check-ups take care of that. If something is wrong or needs to be done then they'll tell you and you can do what they said to do. But otherwise, he's more focused on you.
That's not to say he isn't doing anything. Of course not! He makes sure you're comfortable and healthy and that you aren't taking on any stress or workloads that might cause strain
Jake 100% is the one who builds everything, and he's good at it, and fast as hell. He built the whole baby crib in like five minutes and then started the next thing
I do feel like he takes on making the pregnancy more fun though
And by that I mean he makes stupid jokes to make you laugh
He quotes the how is prangent formed video all the time and says "pregananant" and "pregante" regularly
When you're in your final stage of pregnancy and are very pregnant he picks up everything that you drop because he knows you can't do it because the bump makes it impossible to bend down
He's seen you try before, and it's funny to him. You look like Chicha from Emperor's New Groove. That or you sit on the floor to be able to get it and then can't get back up.
He's very wholesome though. He's got the sonogram in his wallet as a keepsake to look at from time to time while he's at work

Hi elle! I was wondering if you could do some angst in where reader is tony's daughter but shes the forgotten one and tony shows a lot of affection to peter and one day she just loses it. Its ok if you don't want to.
Stay safe and drink water!
i’ve never felt so motivated to write something–
content warnings (18+) — immense swearing, mentions of insecurity and negative outlook, yelling, author possibly projecting?, maybe too many italicized words/phrases.

You knew your dad loved you. He had to. He said it to you a million times before, and made it a point to remind you of it once a day. However, there were moments nowadays where you began to question it. You didn’t really question whether he loved you or not, but rather, whether he loved Peter Parker more than you.
Tony had referred to Peter as the son he’d never had. He’d taken Peter on retreats and to expos when he hadn’t taken you out on a trip since you were nine years old. He’d bought things for Peter, and fixed things for Peter, and every meme or video or cat picture you found on the internet to show to your father would automatically get the response: “send that to me, i want to show it to Peter.”
Peter this and Peter that. It sent you into a spiral of insecurity that you’d never known existed. You truly felt like Tony was trying to tell you something subliminally. You tried to drown yourself in coursework, go to engineering camps, and help out with the Avengers just to try and gain a better understanding of their bond. Of what you lacked. Nothing seemed to help. It jabbed at your feelings like a knife to the back, presumably left by Peter Parker himself.
And the worst part? You’d never even met the guy. You’d never been introduced to Peter Parker, despite how many times Tony mentioned the fact that he’d “love for you two to meet,” and “you two would get along great.” Yeah, sure. And he’s probably some gross ass dude with an untamed beard in his mid–twenties that your father took pity on. So much pity, in fact, that he’d invited Peter to stay over for the weekend in your penthouse apartment.
Fantastic.
It was such a sudden proposition, and a last second invite, but it happened. And Tony insisted, despite every protest you attempted to give, that you’d both greet him in the lobby.
So when you were face to face with a surprisingly attractive boy your age who had the deepest brown eyes you’d ever seen and barely packed a duffel bag, you were thrown off your rocker. You hardly had the composure to speak. Thus, your father did for you, smiling wider than you’d ever seen him smile before.
He was barely showing teeth, but you hadn’t seen your father this excited about something in a while. “Kid, this is my daughter, Y/N.” He stated proudly, grasping Peter’s shoulder as he started introductions. “And sweetheart,” Tony addressed you, turning his full focus to you as he gave Peter’s introduction. “This is Peter Parker.”
There was something about him that caused for you to detest him. It wasn’t seen on his clothes, or in his eyes. It wasn’t dangling in the tension between you, or whispered through his silent stares, but it was there. Perhaps, it came from the depths of your subconscious, and the land of your imagination. You shoved that proposition deeper into your subconscious, too.
Because you were certain that you had a hatred for Peter Parker, and his little staycation with the Stark’s would prove it.
The first night was fine. Your dad didn’t make you do any activities together, thank God, but he did surprise you with the news that he had to leave the next morning for a last second Avengers emergency. He didn’t know when he’d be back, but Tony assigned you and Peter with the task of rewiring a circuit board in his lab before he returned.
Being the daughter of Tony Stark, you’d taken the initiative to finish the project yourself. It was your house, anyways. It was a request that your father had made to you, so you intended to do it. You just hated the fact that Peter persisted in being with you in the room while you finished it. You hated the silence he left in the room, and the way he kept checking over your shoulder. God, you just hated him. You were sure of it.
You could feel his presence watching over your hands as they worked. You could feel the weight of his judgment, his breath catching in hesitation. You could smell the fumes of his cologne, and the aroma of his hair products. It was infuriating. It was pressuring. It felt mocking, taunting.
He stepped closer, hands reaching over to where yours were tinkering, yet they didn’t dare to touch your project. “A–actually, you should move the circuit focus closer to the–”
The audacity he had to question you. The nerve he struck with his comment, it filled you with rage.
Wrench and wire were thrown to the table, clanking and clamoring as they caved to gravity’s pull. Their sound was the only thing keeping you and Peter from shared silence. The shared silence of your anger. You turned your head to look at him, hoping that you weren’t physically exhaling flames like you imagined you were.
“Can you just.. not?” The question almost came out as a laugh. You nearly laughed, in disbelief that Peter Parker thought he had any say in how you built a robotic contraption. “Can you just fucking not?”
Walls had been building up inside you, livid and rageful feelings clouding your judgment as you glared at him. You couldn’t see just how shocked he was, thrown off at your irritation. You couldn’t see how puzzled he was, or panicked that he’d done something to upset you so much. You just stared into the eyes of what felt like your replacement. You felt empty, worthless, as your figure reflected back at you through the glistening of his eyes.
“Can I not what? Did I– Did I upset you?” Just the sound of his voice crawled beneath your skin. It felt worse than the sleek of humidity, or nails on a chalkboard. It sounded teasing, coy.
It was the final straw.
Nails dug into your palm as your hands formed fists. One fist pressed to your forehead, almost speaking as a warning to tell you to keep composure, but you couldn’t help it. You couldn’t fucking stand it anymore. “Can you stop being so fucking perfect all the time?” The words slipped out before you could stop them.
There were several things that you’d been wanting to say to Peter Parker. You’d wanted to tell him off for a long time, but you’d never gotten the chance. Now, you’d given yourself the opportunity to let the floodgates open and your tongue run wild.
“You’re always making shit competitive and iT’S NOT OKAY. It’s not my fault that my own father loves yOU MORE THAN ME! Doesn’t mean you have to fucking rub it in my face every gODDAMN FUCKING HOUR!!” God, this felt good. “You can just do my job for me!! Fucking move into my rOOM at this point, Tony won’t know the difference!!” You scoffed, “In fact, he’d probably be tHRILLED that you FINALLY REPLACED ME!!”
Peter Parker blinked a few times at you. His mouth hung agape, too scared to say anything and interrupt what looked like things you had been needing to say. The look infuriated you.
“Build the circuit board by your goddamn fucking self and leave me the fuck alone!!” And as you made the final statement, you turned to make your leave. The subtle breeze caught your face, and you felt the air hit your cheeks cold; you hadn’t noticed that you’d started crying.
You also hadn’t noticed the fact that your dad entered the room. You froze dead in your tracks at the sight of him, tears brimming your eyes again when you saw how upset he looked.
Shit.
It wasn’t your intention for him to hear all of that, but you couldn’t take back the truth once it’d gotten out. You took a staggered breath, choking back a sob as you rushed out. You didn’t know which hurt more: to hear your father’s footsteps tread further from you, or to hear him ask Peter about what was happening rather than you directly.
Either way, it was an added punch right to the gut.
It felt like ten minutes of sobbing in your room went by before a knock was placed on your door. You were about to answer, but you weren’t given the chance; your father opened the door as soon as he’d placed the knock, a solemn look coating his face as he looked at you from the doorframe. It was a solemn look that resembled disappointment.
He was disappointed in you.
Your dad was disappointed that you’d blown a fuse in front of your house guest. Disappointed that you’d ruined your chance at a good first impression. Disappointed that you’d shown such weakness. He was disappointed that you didn’t meet his expectations. He was disappointed in you for not making his honorary son feel more welcomed. Your father was disappointed in you for fucking it all up. You could tell.
Tony took careful steps towards your bed, sitting next to you as you stifled your sobs down a bit. “Do.. You want to talk about what happened back there?” His tone was softer than you’d anticipated for someone who was disappointed in you. It almost sounded apologetic, sympathetic; you were certain that your mind was reaching for a false reality.
A sniffle caught your breath as you looked at him, fresh tears framing your face. “How much of that did you hear?” You were almost too scared to ask, but you needed to know. You had to know which bit of air to clear first.
“All of it.” Tony started, “From the part where you asked Peter not to be so fucking perfect all the time..” His tone got a little sharper, almost witty. It sounded like he was trying to make humor of your meltdown. As though he were trying to find a way to cheer you up, or tell you to grow up and get over yourself. You couldn’t tell.
You averted eye contact for a moment, trying not to blow up again. Luckily, most of the anger in your system was boiling down to melancholia. Your tears ran rivers down your face as you tried to find the words to say. “I just don’t understand..” You started, keeping your voice from breaking.
Every speck of humor fled from his face at how upset you were getting. Tony’s brows pressed together, graveness and concern bleeding through his tone of voice. “Don’t understand what, honey?” The gentleness of his tone reminded you of when he’d comfort you in childhood. It took you back to when he’d snapped at you and wanted to apologize, or when you’d scraped your knee and he rushed to patch you up. It started to ease the narrative in your head that Tony was angry with you for your little tantrum.
“I, uh.. I don’t—” A shaky breath cut you off. You weren’t sure how to communicate this feeling lightly. It’d been bottled up and growing inside you for a couple months now. You knew you’d have to tell him at some point, you just despised how raw it was. It was pure vulnerability. “I don’t understand what I did to not be good enough–” You couldn’t even get through the sentence before your lip quivered.
That was when Tony looked at you like the entire world shattered. His entire world shattered. The disappointment flooded his expression once again, but it hit you that it was never directed at you — Tony was disappointed in himself. His eyes held the weight of failing as a father, of making you feel this rejected. He failed by making you feel rejected in the first place. His arms wrapped around you, pulling you into a suffocating hug; you weren’t sure if he’d ever actually be able to let go of it, yet it was the kind of hug you didn’t want to part from. A hug that shielded you from the entire world.
His lips pressed to your temple, along with a few stray tears he couldn’t catch beforehand. It was rare to catch your father tearful, yet you seemed to lower that guard when you started the conversation. He held you close, letting you cry out the feelings you’d locked away for so long.
“Y/N, you’re more than enough..” He lulled, voice breaking ever so slightly, “It’s my fault you ever felt like you weren’t..” His words were everything you’d hoped to hear. You’d began to believe the possibility that actually hearing them wasn’t actuality. This insecurity had driven you beyond wild, to the point where you believed that your father’s intentions were pinned against you.
They never were.
Tony held you in his arms for the next hour, letting you talk out your growing anxiety. You talked about everything from your fomo towards their retreats and trips, to how thrown off you were that Peter was your age.
“I actually think you two would make a cute couple.” Tony started, laughing at how quick you were to throw a punch at his bicep. The melancholy had worn off both of you, and the room started to fill with laughter. “I’m serious!” Tony threw his arms up to mock defeat before changing the topic a little. “But really, I think he wants to apologize to you for what happened.”
Your face drew a blank, mixing shock and confusion as you blinked at your father a few times. “Parker wants to apologize to me? For my meltdown?”
A shrug caught in your father’s posture. “You two are more similar than you think, hon.” His tone was light and sincere as he chuckled, quietly, “You both put the weight of other people’s mistakes on your shoulders.” His words draped a blanket of guilt over your body. Your own words from said meltdown began to replay through your brain like a broken record; the blame you’d thrown at Peter was wrongfully served.
You knew you needed to apologize.
After rebuilding trust with your father, and mentally rehearsing how to apologize to Peter, you made your way across the apartment to the guest room.
The door was already open, and gave you the perfect view of Peter seated on the edge of the bed. He was reading, fidgeting fingers at the edge of his pages, and chocolate curls shadowing his focused expression.
Now that you’d been able to release the steam of your self–consciousness, you realized that hatred wasn’t the actual feeling you had towards Peter; it was envy. And once you had talked things out with your father, the clouds of your judgment cleared from your vision and you could finally see Peter Parker for who he really was: a boy. A boy your age who needed a place to crash for the weekend.
You felt guilty for interrupting his reading, but at this point, the feeling was a tiny speck to add to your growing pile of culpability. The knock was gentle, and immediately pulled his eyes to meet yours.
“Mind if I come in for a minute?” You had to croak the words out, but still managed to keep a softness to your tone. You didn’t want to yell at him again, or come across like you were about to.
The look he gave you wasn’t one you weren’t expecting; he eyed you like he’d committed an unforgivable crime, or like you’d break if he didn’t hold you together. It gave you reassurance that this apology definitely needed to come out sooner than later.
Peter book–marked his place without looking, keeping his stare fixed on you while he nodded. “Please,” He gestured to the foot of the bed beside him, “Sit. I– uh, I was planning to find you and see if you were alright, but I didn’t want to interrupt your space.”
As you sat down beside him, a smile touched your lips at how thoughtful he was. “I appreciate that, but I–I owe you an apology, Peter..” You never broke your eye contact, but the look in your eyes grew more urgent, pleading. “I am so sorry for speaking to you that way, and–”
You cut yourself off at the sight of Peter waving his hands in dismissal. He mirrored the look in your eyes, “No, Y/N, I’m sorry. I never meant to make you feel that way. I don’t want you to feel like I’m here to replace you.” His words held a direness that yours should have. Your dad was right, Peter really was putting the gravity of this into his hands.
To stop his spiral, you touched his arm for a minute, “Peter, that wasn’t your fault. It was mine for assuming and unloading all of that shit onto you. And I’m sorry for that.”
His eyes alone begged you to let him win the argument. “I still could have–”
You cut him off, “Peter, it’s not your fault.” You tried to emphasize your point, noticing the way he read your expression. His eyes scanned every inch of your face, searching for what looked like a sign of your uncertainty. His lips parted to contribute his side of the argument, but one look from you shut his trap pretty quickly.
Peter’s shoulder’s eased, but his eyes still glistened with ambition. He wanted you to understand his perspective a little. “Did your dad tell you how nervous I was to meet you?”
That wasn’t what you were expecting. Your eyes widened a little, shaking your head in response. Peter Parker? Nervous to meet you? The way your dad talked about him didn’t set him up to be that way. Of course, seeing him in front of you changed your perception a little. “No, he didn’t.” You were honest.
He wet his lips, parting them with the warmest smile you’d ever set your eyes on. The laugh that spilt from them was melodic, laced with a bit of nerves. He rubbed a muscle on the back of his neck, suddenly choking up. “Yeah, I was pretty nervous.” His brow arched slightly, complimenting his grin photogenically. “I was nervous ‘cause Mister Stark’s always talking the world to me about his amazing daughter.” Peter’s smile grew in your direction, stirring a hurricane of butterflies through your stomach.
It felt like the two of you were in the midst of a staring contest; though, instead of the intense anticipation glistening in each other’s eyes, you mutually stared at each other in security. You’d both had the immense pressure of making good impressions toward the other on your shoulders.
Peter repositioned himself on the bed, now seated facing you. His legs were crossed beneath him, his knee a hair from touching yours. “You, Y/N, are not only his greatest accomplishment, but you’re his best friend.” His words spread like butter over every worry you’d had, melting away that crippling insecurity with it. “I think he wants to be you when he grows up.”
The laughs that bubbled up your throat brought attention to the tears brimming your eyes. You blinked them away, mirroring Peter’s earnest expression. “I can tell why my dad’s always talking about you.” You told him, “And here I was thinking you’d be some old ass dude living in his mother’s basement, but here we are.”
“And here I was thinking you wouldn’t be drop–dead gorgeous.” His cheeks were ablaze with crimson, sending a pink glow of your own to your complexion. “But, here we are.”
Your smile grew, rolling your eyes playfully at him. “Alright, casanova. Save it for the love letters.” It felt nice to share laughter like this with Peter. You were glad that you gave him a second chance. Not breaking eye contact, you slid off the bed and rose to your feet. “I’ll let you get back to your reading”
Peter watched you get up to go, looking a little disappointed. You were almost surprised, but likewise, both you and Peter hid the honesty of your feelings behind the curtains of a smile.
“You don’t have to. You could stay if you want.” He started, but a look flashed behind his eyes that was rather telling; he seemed to panic over his eagerness for your company. “Unless you don’t want to–”
Biting the inside of your cheek hurt, but it was the only way to hide how wide your smile grew. “I’d love to, but I need to finish that circuit board.” And thus, the idea struck you. “You doing anything later though?”
His brows pressed together in a curious way. “Not really. You planning something?”
“Yeah. My dad and I usually have movie nights tonight.” You took paces backwards towards the door, but stalled from the moment you’d have to part ways. “You should join us! It’s my turn to pick.”
The sight of his dimples made you realize just how much you’d grown fond of his smile. It was already getting difficult to leave his presence; you knew if you didn’t leave now, you probably never would.
“Well, then you better pick a good one, just for me.” He challenged. You’d make it your goal to satisfy his request.
If even possible, it felt like your grin grew. “I plan to.”
And that said, the three of you met in the home–theater and watched Jurassic Park together. You had Tony on your left geeking out over the CGI technology from the 80s, and Peter on his left geeking out about how accurate the movie was from the book. It made your film decision that much better. It also was the best movie night you’d had in a long while.
Perhaps your dad was right: you and Peter Parker really would get along great.

Tumblr media
As with all nsfw works, all characters are aged up to 18+ (like way over 18 in logan’s case lol)
That being said jesus christ let’s dive right into the brain rot
First things first, a little more about Logan
He’s in his early 40’s and aging like a fine goddamn wine
MEGA MEGA dilf vibes
After the whole millions of dollars sunken into a bad investment in his family’s massive media conglomerate mishap, he still faced a lot of pressure to join the family business
But with Rory rejecting his proposal, he felt so fucking down and beaten up by life
He just had two massive blows to his ego back to back
And he needed a win
Then the strangest thing happened
He just got back from another late night of partying with his friends and switched on the tv so he wouldn’t have to fall asleep with his thoughts, and some random movie was playing
The girl in the movie is at dinner with her boyfriend and thinks he’s going to propose, but he breaks up with her instead
It hits a little too close to home and Logan’s about to switch it off
Then she decides to go to law school to prove herself
He finds himself getting more and more invested in this movie, relating more to Elle with every scene, and by the morning he confronts the idea he’s been shoving away for too long so he doesn’t rock the boat
He talks to his dad and they decide Logan will go to law school, but remain a prominent board member and shareholder of the family company
Mitchum is surprised by how responsible and well thought out Logan’s plan is
He’s forging a path to a very lucrative field - one Mitchum can tell he’s going to be very successful in - while still staying involved enough in the family business
So Logan goes off to law school, and 20 years later he’s a total shark
He’s a prestigious, expensive lawyer with a reputation for never losing and a long streak of killing it with really high profile cases
Now the Huntzberger name carries all the weight and power of his father’s media reach, and Logan’s success in the courtroom
He’s excelling
And he’s excelling enough to keep his family out of his personal life for a while
He’s living the bachelor life until he hits 40
That’s when his parents decide it’s really unacceptable that he’s still not married
So they tell him if he doesn’t get married soon they’ll arrange something
Some french heiress or something
And Logan finds himself right back where he didn’t want to be
And then, like a gift from god, he sees you
Like I said in my initial drabble, Logan first saw you in a cafe reading some dusty novel no one actually reads like war and peace or crime and punishment or something
He's seen people your age do that before, reading complicated stuffy literature to seem smart and make some pretentious English class commentary that barely makes sense
So he calls you on it
"War and Peace, huh?"
He’s expecting you to say something fake and pretentious
Some bullshit fake deep pseudo intellectual shit
But you look up at him, only pausing for a moment before you speak
You’re surprised to see such a gorgeous guy in a little cafe like this
Especially one that seems interested in talking to you
And god, the way you talk about it
The way your eyes light up
It takes him by surprise
He's not just interested
He's invested
You start talking and realize that you've been talking for way longer than you expected to
And he wants more
He wants to know more about you, wants to see you sweet smile and hear your cute little laugh when he says something charming or compliments you
So he takes you out to dinner, his treat
He guides you out the door and into his Porsche with his hand on your back
It's a subtle gesture but it makes your stomach flip
Then he buckles your seat belt for you
If you weren't sold before you sure are by now
So he takes you to this nice fancy restaurant, wines and dines you, and he is laying on the charm thick
"Oh, come on. A pretty young thing like you must have a boyfriend."
"Really, you have excellent taste.”
You don’t miss the way he’s been eyeing you all night
And he doesn’t miss the way you squeeze your thighs together when he touches your face or plays with your fingers
One thing leads to another and after he pays the bill and leaves a generous tip, you find him ushering you back into his porsche
And yet again he closes your door for you and gets you all buckled in
This time when he drives his hand rests on your knee
He thinks he can handle this
He’s the biggest whore on the east coast /affectionate
Then you grab his hand and move it up your thigh
There’s no going back now
He’s in just as deep as you are
Before you know it you’re tearing off each other’s clothes
His lips are all over you and motherfucker does he know what he’s doing
He worried for a moment he might have lost his edge
But as he lays you down into his big soft bed, your skin touching his silky sheets for the first time
But definitely not the last
As he finally touches you and feels how wet you are for him
He knows he didn’t peak in college
“Shh, listen,” he says between kisses that make you feel dizzy, “you’re gonna tell me if it’s too much for you, can you do that?”
You nod while he holds your face in his big hands
“You gotta say it,” he chuckles at how sweet you are, how well you respond to him, “use your words, baby…”
You manage to choke out a desperate yes between kisses that makes his stomach twist
And that is the very beginning to your intense affair with Logan Huntzberger
He’s desperate to see you again
He sends flowers and a dress and a gorgeous necklace to your apartment
And not the normal amount of flowers
The Logan amount of flowers
So a lot
And you can’t believe your luck finding a hot rich older guy that’s so into you
You really like this attention
Your daddy issues are SCREAMING
And Logan likes having someone as gorgeous and intelligent and into him as you are
And he wants to do this right
But he’s rapidly approaching the deadline his family set
He doesn’t want to scare you off
GOD that’s the last thing he wants
But he is terrified of proposing and having it end up like it did the last time
Eventually he works up the nerve to talk to you about it
He’s explaining everything to you while you pay your bills
But it says they’re already paid
And your credit cards are paid off
And your debt has just disappeared
Even your student loans are gone
And there’s a fat deposit in your checking account
He paid off all your debt and didn’t tell you
By the time he’s done explaining that you basically either need to get married asap or you can’t see each other anymore he still hasn’t brought it up
And you realize he’s not going to
He didn’t pay your bills to guilt you into anything
He’s not holding it over your head
He’s taking care of you
And all you’ve ever wanted is someone who will take care of you
Logan is surprised when you agree
But he’s even more surprised at how fast you agree
You sit in his lap and end up rambling about how much you love him, how you don’t think you’ll ever find anyone you like as much as him or anyone that treats you as well as he does
To no one’s surprise the conversation ends with him taking you on every surface of your apartment
Hours later you’re cuddling naked on your couch, resting your head on his muscular chest and listening to his heartbeat
“So like… are we engaged now?” you ask looking up at him
He laughs sweetly
“No, not yet. I have to actually propose first.”
You think back to your conversation earlier when you first said you’d want to marry him
“So that didn’t count before?”
His heart breaks at how little you ask for
“No, that didn’t count.” He kisses your head, “I’m going to take you out somewhere nice, give you a proper proposal, with a nice ring.”
You get butterflies thinking about it
You can’t believe how much he does for you
How much he wants to do for you
You’re quiet for a moment, and he can feel you smiling into his chest
“...Okay.”
Your voice is so small and bashful, and he can hear you suppressing a flustered giggle
Fuck he can’t get enough of you
He laughs and pulls you closer, grabbing your chin and makes you look up at him so he can kiss you
You fall asleep in his arms
And you think that you won’t mind being married so young if it’s Logan you’re marrying
Logan is looking at you with so much love and adoration
And right before he falls asleep
He thinks that maybe it’s not too late for him to find love after all

Miles 42 Headcannons ( We got a man yall 🤭🤭
Tumblr media
Miles 42x Black Reader
OK first off, THIS IS A 15/16 YEAR OLD CHILD HE BROKE AS HELL
Like he not broke broke but, hell shadow box for $5 and win ts. To me I feel he got a little money saved form how his dad taught his savings, and he got a back account because remember he's like a hitman he gets paid, but he's not like rich enough to the point he buys you like Rolex watches, Catier, Dior vintage bags from the 70's spring collection.
Next, I feel like to me evry says hes like some bad boy to me i just think hes troubled but, hes a good kid. In the first movie Miles acted the same way and in the second movie he's more mature I feel like Miles-42 matured faster since his dad died; he could never play with action figures when no action was taken to save his dad
It very sad how they describe him in fics as like a drug dealer bad kid when really, I think he's just a matured yet still goofy version of Miles like imagine Hobie attitude with miles it practically the same!
Also, more on the dating side of things Miles-42 I believe would not trust his s/o til 3 months later or even more. Miles-42 is a hitman, and he may have been taught people are going to burn your bridge when they have the chance so, Miles stays clear of really revealing his inner turmoil's til he can fully trust you.
But, when Miles does open up he's like a little flower all nice and smells good yet can still have you in the bed sick and tired if tried hard enough, I feel like his emotions would turn more gentler like he wasn't neglecting you but he kind of was condescending when you show a lot of affection and until you prove your real, hell just make the relationship picture worthy and not living worthy.
But an opinion I know people would say is true is that Miles both of them cannot flirt. Remember than most likely Miles-42 dad and Miles-1160 uncle died at or around the same time which means they both experienced the same ' I almost messed up my chances with this cool girl because my uncle/dad didn't teach me how to be a smooth criminal' but to me with how he put his hand on Miles-1160 shoulder..that man had one girlfriend in the 5th grade and he's been feelin himself since then.
Now before you two started dating you have crushes, Miles didn't have many crushes to my idea. I feel like he didn't see it like he thought of kids as friends and if he did like smb it would be like quick and over with simply because he would try to be friends more.
Like imagine you tryna shoot your shot with him and he just asks you what your favorite power ranger...that what I mage would happen but he's 15/16 so instead it him saying ' cool but, not interested' like he's not rude about it but, you would feel he not messin with you,
Buttt if he does have like a real crush on you, I feel like he would try to get to know you by socials than irl, like asking Ganke can he ask for your socials and then following you and from there trying bag you by cheesy but smooth texts. He would ask about your day, what was the homework, what clubs you do ask a conversation starter but, if you feelin him hell asking about music because I feel like Miles-42 and Miles-1160 both have a music bone in them, and you know Miles-42 listens to good music (won't ever catch him listening to mf Lil Pump ass) I also feel like Miles would ask about pop culture opinions to see how you are as a person like do you watch any popular tv shows? Ohhhh your favorite is Greys Anatomy... so you have nothing to do in your time? That what hell thinks.
My last little head cannon is more of what he would do if Ms. Rio liked you, which because he respectful baddies she likes us quickly, so What would miles do if Rio likes us 🧐
First, Miles wouldn't tell but shell know simply because Miles never smiles at a text, it doesn't matter if he won $128302 million, he not smiling until he met our lovely baddie reader now, he is giggling and kicking his feet. To Ms. Rio that's not normal, it gives her a sense of his old self and she doesn't pry into his social like a helicopter parent but, she doesn't take a peek over his shoulder and when Miles does get the courage to tell her she just smiling acting like she aint know.
Miles seeing his mom like would take a big relief off his shoulders because he thought about the reddit stories where the mom is crazy and now, he thinks his momma gonna run us over with a truck and blame it on the next-door neighbor (true miles fashion)
His mom liking you also lets him know he picked the right one, mothers know best when it comes to fake people for some odd reason and if Rio didn't side-eye you when she met you then your good and he's inviting you to his house more often. I'm not going to talking about Uncle Aaron because I feel like they not as close like that but that a head cannon for a sad day.
But, at the end of the day Miles wants us bad 🤭🤭

The Boogeyman

summary - Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw was ruthless, a stone cold killer both in and outside of the ring—with the belts and trophies to prove it. When a miscalculation results in a target being put on the back of his trainer's daughter, Bradley finds himself facing responsibility he never signed up for. You're a whole new challenge. And Bradley doesn't think you're one he can fight his way out of.

“That’s it?” Adler’s eye twitches incredulously, his hands gesturing to the photos on the table. “All of this is happening because of a fucking jacket? Jesus, Rooster, when’s the last time you were nice to someone in public?”
Bradley bites his tongue, knowing Adler probably doesn’t want him to answer that. If he were to answer, he’d say that he wasn’t even that nice to you. That the picture makes it look way worse than it actually was. And that, really, none of this is his fault because, if Adler had heard the things Razor was saying about Nat, he would have punched him too.
But Bradley doesn’t say any of that, he just glares wordlessly while Adler scolds him like a child.
“Dad, would you leave him alone?” You seem to have gained some confidence in the time your father was chewing him out, shifting in Natasha’s embrace to get him to notice you.
“Leave him— Leave him alone?” Adler sputters, almost more angry at the fact that you don’t want him to be angry. “I don’t think you understand the severity of the situation we’re in right now.”
“I do understand, dad. But—”
Bradley raises his eyebrows in disinterest. “It’s Razor, Coach. You know he isn’t gonna do shit.”
“Of course I know Razor isn’t gonna do shit. You think I don’t know that?!” Adler’s on him again, looking about a second away from popping a vein before he takes a breath. At Bradley’s expression—or lack there of—Adler lets out an exasperated laugh. “God, you have no idea, do you? Look at this, Rooster,” he gestures towards the photographs on his desk, “you think Razor is smart enough to do any of this by himself.”
Bradley looks at the photos again. How they’re taken over multiple days, at multiple times of day, with a quality that doesn’t look like someone’s iPhone camera. Unless Razor was living out of his car and watching you for almost every second—and was way smarter than anyone gave him credit for—it might have been his idea, but it certainly wasn’t his execution.
Bradley looks back up at Adler, who seems to have calmed down slightly, but the older man still wears a grave look on his face.
“It’s not Razor that I’m fucking worried about.”
Tumblr media
Had Bradley known that that conversation would lead to an outrageous amount of skirts being moved into his spare room’s closet, he would have fled the fucking country.
“Oh my gosh, you have fish? Dad, look, he has fish!”
“I see ‘em, kid. Would you go help Nat with the rest of your stuff?”
Bradley waits until your voice becomes distant down the hall, before he turns to Alder with a glare. “Remind me again why you’re making me her fucking babysitter?”
Like they’ve had this conversation a million times—and they have—Adler meets his glower with a dead expression. “Because you messed around with someone you shouldn’t have, and she refuses to stay with me because she doesn’t want to rope her mom into this, and if anything happens to my daughter—which, again, is because you decided you wanted to try and debunk evolution with your ape brain—I will stick Reaper on your ass so fast.”
“What is he? Your fucking dog?” Bradley scoffs lightly, which Adler matches with the single raise of a brow.
The two halt their conversation as you and Natasha each come in with a box, chatting quietly as you walk to the spare room that’s now serving as your bedroom. Adler smiles at you briefly. Bradley spares you a small nod of acknowledgement. They wait for the door to close.
“How. Long?” Bradley grits quietly.
“Until I don’t have to worry about her being used as some kind of leverage against you,” Adler says flatly, matching his volume. “Maybe it’ll teach you some impulse control.”
The door opens again and the two men stand awkwardly in the living room, silent until you and Natasha are far enough down the hall again.
“What if I say no?” Bradley challenges, crossing his arms in defiance.
“Then I’ll make sure that you never fight a good fight again in your life,” Adler narrows his eyes, the threat coming out in a tone that promises he means the threat. “I hear that Hangman’s coming back and he’s just as good as you. I’m sure he’d be happy to take all your fights.”
Bradley glares at him, but says nothing. He could argue that Maverick would never let that happen, but both men know that’s not true. Bradley could be the best boxer in the world—and, really, he is—but to Maverick, he’d always be expendable. And clearly, it seems, he’s expendable to Adler too.
“Look,” Adler drops his coach persona for a moment, letting out a sigh as he wipes a tired hand over his face. He looks older suddenly, aged. “I get that you don’t want this, I’m not exactly thrilled about it either. But you’re a good man, Bradley. And I trust you. You’re smart, and you know what to look for in dangerous situations. I just feel better knowing she has someone like you looking out for her. She’s been through enough as it is.”
Bradley’s brows furrow and he wants to ask Adler what exactly he means by that, but you and Natasha re enter his apartment with, what looks to be, the last load of your stuff. Natasha bumps her hip into him purposefully as you two walk past and Bradley suppresses an eye roll.
“Thanks for helping,” she says sarcastically.
He grunts. “You're welcome.”
“Yeah, thank you!” You smile at him genuinely. “Your place is really nice.”
Bradley can’t tell if you’re doing this on purpose or if you’re just stupid. Because it’s pretty obvious that every other person in the room—for one reason or another—isn’t exactly jumping for joy about this new living arrangement. And it’s even more obvious that Natasha was being entirely passive aggressive, but you seem completely sincere.
Bradley opts to give another nod instead of responding, though you don’t seem offended. Too sweet for your own good.
“Is that everything?” You wouldn’t be standing in Bradley’s living room if it wasn’t, but Adler asks anyway.
“Yep!” You lift the box in your hands slightly. “These are the last ones.”
Adler’s eyes flit over the box. “And you’re sure you have everything you need?”
“She does. And if she doesn’t, she can just ask Rooster.” Natasha answers for you.
Bradley wants to furrow his brows in protest, but he stops himself. With the amount of stuff you’d moved in, he doubts you’ll need anything. Bradley spares a glance at you, to see you already smiling at him, and he looks away quickly.
“Alright then, Rooster, you and I will talk to Mav about all this tomorrow. I doubt he wants to get the cops involved,” Adler sniffs. “We’ll… regroup after, I guess.”
Bradley clears his throat. “You’re leaving?”
Again, it’s Natasha who opens her mouth, looking at Bradley with a shit-eating grin and he can already tell what she’s thinking.
Natasha and Callie had been attempting to set him up for months now, after he complained once about the groupies always waiting for him after a fight. After that it was ring girls, or bar tenders, or friends of friends. He weaseled his way out of it every time, so he’s sure Natasha is loving this. Why she thinks trying to play matchmaker for him and his trainer’s daughter is a good idea is beyond him, though.
“We wouldn’t want to intrude on dinner.”
Bradley genuinely doesn’t know how he’s stayed friends with this woman for so long.
“Oh, I can make pasta?” You offer.
“No, that’s fine,” Natasha raises her eyebrows at him like she’s daring him to disagree. “Rooster can make something.”
He knows there’s a part of her that’s still mad about how he handled things with Razor, especially now that it’s resulted in a threat to your safety. And Bradley hadn’t ever actually apologized yet for doing the exact opposite of what Natasha asked him to, so he can imagine that forcing him into the role of “welcoming host” is giving her some sick sense of justice. He doesn’t want to give her the satisfaction though, so he just nods, staying quiet until both Adler and Natasha leave.
“Are you sure? It’s really no trouble if I make something,” you turn to him almost as soon as the lock has clicked in place. “I won’t even tell Natasha, I promise.” You hold your pinky out, though Bradley promptly chooses to ignore it.
“It’s fine, toots,” Bradley shakes his head, reaching for his phone to order something off of a food delivery app before thinking better of it and instead grabbing his car keys. “You like burgers?”
Tumblr media
Knockouts was an establishment that felt like it had been around for almost as long as Bradley had. It was one of those “blink and you miss it” kind of buildings, having the misfortune of being placed next to a significantly nicer looking Denny’s. Freddie Kasinski, Knockouts owner, would be the first to remind anyone that “Knockouts was here first. And you don’t wanna eat any of that corporate bullshit. All nice on the outside, empty on the inside”. Bradley supposed there was some truth to that given that, with the option of them both readily available to him, he still chooses Knockouts.
You’re bouncing with excitement in his passenger seat, taking in the accents of light blue on the outside of the building as well as the flickering, cursive, neon sign. Bradley’s only mildly surprised you’ve never been here before, but you look like the type who’s put together enough to make home cooked meals so he guesses it isn’t as much of a stretch.
Bradley glances over the cars in the parking lot, taking brief note of any that look out of place. There’s no truck with dried blood on its side mirror so Bradley locks his own car, only making half acknowledging noises as you ramble beside him about his burger order and whether or not he likes pickles. He opens the door for you, his hand finding its somewhat familiar position on the small of your back.
“Hi, welcome to Knockouts. Are you dining in or taking out?” A waitress greets them politely, two menus already in hand.
Bradley glances around the various patrons of the diner. “Taking out.”
There’s an older couple in the back left, speaking to each other quietly over a single basket of fries. At a booth near the door is what looks to be a group of high schoolers, passing phones over various burgers and fries. Two of the girls are turning into each other in hushed whispers, sending him quick glances behind emptying milkshake glasses.
Subtly, Bradley flexes his fingers against your back, pulling your attention away from the menu above your head and you shoot him a smile. “What do you usually get?”
“Their cheeseburgers are good.” He says simply, deciding to just ignore the giggling girls to his left. He lets his gaze fall to your waiting eyes. “Do you want a milkshake too?”
“Yes! I was looking at their oreo one! Have you ever had that?” You light up at the suggestion, continuing to ponder over the flavor options Knockouts offered as Bradley’s eyes dart to the teenagers again.
“Oh shit, I think he has a girlfriend.”
“He’s so tall though…”
“He also looks like he’s 30 fucking years old, Kendra. Don’t think you stood a chance anyway.”
“Shut up, Devon!”
The waitress returns, somewhat of a grimace on her face as she makes her way to the cash register with a slight limp. You frown and before she can even open her mouth to ask for your order, you’re speaking.
“Are you alright?”
“Sorry?” The waitress looks down before she seems to realize what you mean. “Oh, yeah, I’m fine. These shoes are a little small,” she chuckles awkwardly. “I, um, I haven’t gotten around to getting new ones yet.”
You nod in understanding. “I know this great secondhand store on Myrtle street. It’s where all the rich people live, so they’re always donating really nice stuff.”
“Oh, um, thank you?” The waitress blinks.
You seem to be rearing up for more conversation, while your waitress looks more like a deer in the headlights. Partly for her sake—and also because he wants those high school girls to stop staring at him—Bradley clears his throat to order.
“We’ll have three cheeseburgers and one oreo milkshake.”
The waitress nods, clearly relieved, taking a ticket back to the kitchen. Bradley stops himself from pulling out his wallet when he notices that you’re frowning again.
“What?” He thinks that maybe he shouldn’t have ordered for you. Natasha always said that women never liked guys who talked over them on a date.
Not that this was a date. Bradley just didn’t need you hating him and snitching to your dad who had already threatened to ruin his fight schedule.
“You didn’t want a milkshake?” You question and Bradley doesn’t really know what to say because, up until this point, he’s been operating his life under the assumption that he doesn’t look like the type of man to ingest milkshakes.
“It’s okay,” you’re smiling again and Bradley wonders if your face muscles are sore from how much you use them. “You can have some of mine.”
“I don’t drink milkshakes, toots,” he grunts.
You laugh. “Everybody drinks milkshakes, Bradley.”
He grunts again.
The waitress comes back with your food, taking Bradley’s card for a brief transaction before she hands over the to-go bag. She looks hesitant, her lip caught between her teeth as she passes the bag over to Bradley, and he’s almost positive she’s going to attempt to ask for his number. Which would fit in perfectly with how the rest of his day has been going.
Instead, she turns her attention to you. “Um, I just wanted to say thank you again for the recommendation. I’ll check it out.”
“No problem!” You smile brightly.
Bradley doesn’t know if he should feel embarrassed or relieved. But you don’t give him a chance to figure it out, turning back to the entrance with a final wave to the waitress. Bradley’s shoulders drop tiredly and he follows after you.
The door shuts behind him, the bell ringing to signal your departure, and a man looks up.
He’s sitting in a booth in the far right corner, under a hanging light that flickers every so often. He doesn’t stand out against the retro theme of the diner, clad in deep blue jeans and a leather jacket. He should be entirely forgettable. He knows he isn’t though, not with the jagged scar on his left cheek.
His eyes stay on you until you get into Bradley’s car. He watches, sitting in a booth in the far right of Knockouts, until Bradley’s antimatter blue Bronco pulls out of the parking lot. He watches until it’s just tail lights in the distance.
He picks a french fry up between two fingers. The fries are greasy, so much so that he’s gone through a fair few napkins, but they’re salted enough to make up for it. If he looks, he can see the salt granules coating the fry. But he doesn’t look. He watches that antimatter blue Bronco drive away.
Bringing the fry up for a bite, the salt stings at his chapped lips and his nose twitches. Another bite. He finishes the fry. He wipes his fingers on a grease speckled napkin. He takes a sip of water.
“Excuse me.”
The waitress walking by his table halts at his words. She turns around with an expectant smile, though it falters when she takes in his face, eyes widening slightly at the sight of the thick, pinkish line that cuts from his cheek bone to the corner of his lips. His own eyes flicker down briefly to read her name tag. “Malory”.
“Can I smoke in here?”
Malory shakes her head, recovering from her surprise and plastering a pleasant smile onto her face, brown hair bouncing on her shoulders. “‘Fraid not, sir. But you can smoke outside if you like.”
The man nods, picking up another fry as his eyes drift back to the parking spot that once housed an antimatter blue Bronco.
“Shame,” he says.
Tumblr media
Maverick scratches at his cheek in thought, looking over the photos again. “Well, I can tell you it doesn’t look good.”
“Thanks for the insight, Pete. Real helpful,” Adler deadpans. “Remarkably, we were able to figure that out for ourselves, so if you’re ready to actually be useful, that would be great.”
Bradley’s eyebrows raise almost undetectably, if only because he’s never heard anyone talk to Maverick like that.
Pete “Maverick” Mitchell was a man that always fell on the cusp of being nefarious. He paid his fighters well, didn’t take advantage of them, but you have to be a certain kind of person to get into the business of parading young men around like show horses. He cleaned up messes, no questions asked, but he also made a fair amount of messes. Most importantly, in this instance at least, Maverick had connections.
Maverick leans back in his desk chair. “I am being useful, Joe. I’m sayin’ that, if you’re saying this is Razor, Abnesti’s not involved.”
“You figured that out from a coupla pictures?” Adler crosses arms, unconvinced.
“No, I got it from Abnesti,” Maverick rifles through a desk drawer, pulling out a pack of Marlboros and a lighter. “Steve Abnesti is the kind of guy who’s good at keeping secrets, but isn’t good at keeping that he has a secret. If he had any part in this, he’d have said something to me by now.”
His lighter flicks on and he holds it to a cigarette, before wrapping his lips around the rolled paper and sucking in a breath. Bradley’s nose wrinkles at the smell, but he doesn’t flinch, unmoving as Maverick blows smoke into the air slowly.
“You’re makin’ a mess,” Bradley notes, sparing your milkshake-covered lips a glance after he’s swallowed a bite of his burger.
It’s all over your shirt too—that’s what you get for trying to take a sip while practically lying down — and you tilt your chin down to look at it. You frown slightly at the spot of cookies and cream on your front, moving your thumb to try to rub it off.
Bradley grabs the oreo milkshake from your other hand before you can spill it on yourself again—the cup tilting when you get distracted trying to clean the stain—and you smile nervously. “Sorry.”
He grunts in response, setting your milkshake down on the coffee table, and turning his attention back to the television.
After much convincing—and the condition that he could pick the movie—you’d convinced Bradley to have a movie night while you ate. Bradley had begrudgingly agreed. A movie meant he couldn’t eat his burgers as fast as humanly possible and spend the rest of the night in his room, but it also meant he wouldn’t have to talk to you.
He should have known that you’d try to talk to him anyway.
“You know, I think this is one of Matt Damon’s best roles,” you say through a mouthful of burger, gesturing to the screen of the television.
Bradley makes a small noise of agreement, keeping his eyes trained on his choice of movie—The Bourne Identity—and he regrets not ordering fries because you’re almost done with your burger and clearly can’t be trusted with a milkshake so soon there will be nothing left to keep your mouth occupied.
“Have you watched all the Jason Bourne movies?”
Bradley nods.
“I have too, but it was a while ago— Oh, we should watch them all this week!”
Bradley freezes. This was going to be a recurring thing?
“I have training early,” Bradley provides as an excuse and it’s not technically a lie.
“Oh, okay,” you deflate only slightly and Bradley thinks that maybe you’ve gotten the hint that he doesn’t want to talk. Instead he gets three minutes of quiet before you’re voicing another idea. “Well, maybe I can watch them and then we can talk about our favorite parts together?”
Smoke tickles Bradley's nose and he blinks as Maverick takes another drag off his cigarette.
“Well, if it’s not Abnesti, who is it?” Adler’s eyes are trained on the pictures of you.
Maverick also glances at them thoughtfully, tapping the ash off his cigarette. “That’s where I’m drawing blanks. These looked practiced, whoever took them knows what they’re doing. But—and no offense Rooster—I can’t think of anyone that organized who’d be willing to waste their time and resources with some insignificant boxing rivalry.”
Adler says something but Bradley isn’t listening, shifting to pull his phone out of his pocket. With a glance to check that the older men in front of him are still somewhat distracted, he unlocks it.
Bradley watches you navigate his kitchen for a quick breakfast, looking through his pitiful amount of tableware and groceries. You land on yogurt and granola and Bradley’s brows furrow when he realizes you’re making two cups.
“Give me your phone.”
You jump at the noise, turning around quickly, and it’s the first time in the past 24 hours that Bradley’s seen you look scared.
“Why?” You ask hesitantly, eyes darting between his own like you’re trying to read him. Despite your apprehension, you unlock your phone, handing it to him anyway.
He doesn’t respond for a moment, tapping away on both your phone and his before he hands yours back to you.
“So I have your location,” he explains. You insisted on going to work, even though Bradley thought it was a stupid idea. You argued it’d be stupid for you to stay at his apartment all by yourself and even more stupid to follow him around as he trained at Maverick’s, and Bradley couldn’t exactly disagree. “You have mine too.”
You look down at your phone in your hand, staring at the small dot of Bradley’s contact that’s right on top of your own. You swallow. “O-Okay.”
“Are you ready?” Without thinking, Bradley reaches for the yogurt parfait you made for him.
You nod.
“Alright,” Bradley pockets his phone, reaches for his keys, and turns to the door. All with a cup of yogurt in his right hand. “Text me when you need me to pick you up.”
Your Find My icon is still appearing at the animal shelter, just like it had 10 minutes ago. And 10 minutes before that. Bradley hadn’t realized that your Apple ID would autofill his contact photo for you—a picture of you, eyes scrunched closed mid-laugh while you’re surrounded by hyper puppies greeting him every time he checks your location. Bradley looks at it for a moment.
“I have a few guys down at the station on payroll,” Maverick shrugs, snubbing his cigarette in an ashtray as the conversation comes to a close. “I’ll reach out, maybe they’ll see something I don’t.” He gestures down at the photographs. “Can I keep these?”
Adler nods, looking a smidge more relieved than he did when they entered Maverick’s office. “Thank you, Pete.”
“You’ve saved my ass more times than I can count, Joe. We’ll figure this out,” Maverick claps his shoulder.
Bradley pulls his eyes away from your contact photo and turns off his phone.
Tumblr media
Bradley sits up off his mattress at a sudden noise of distress. For the past half hour he’s thought he’s heard things, but this was the first time it was loud enough to confirm as real. He holds his breath, listening for anything to clue him in to what’s going on. The sounds are too clear to be coming from your room, probably the living room if he had to guess. Light dances through the crack under his door. The television is on.
There’s another noise and Bradley gets up. It doesn’t sound like anyone’s in the apartment. The floors creak no matter how light you are so he’d have heard something by now if it was someone trying to break in. Still, he’s guarded as he opens his bedroom door.
He pads past your room, the door wide open and bed empty. As he suspected, he finds you in the living room, stretched out on the couch cushions as you sleep. It’s dark, your body only lit up by the light of the muted television, so Bradley isn’t positive, but it looks like you’re wearing the hoodie he gave you.
Another whimper takes him out of his thoughts and your face scrunches in anguish. Bradley doesn’t know what to do, nightmares had never been an issue for him, even when he was a kid. He can also recognize that waking up from a nightmare to see him looming over you would probably be more terrifying than whatever you were dreaming about, so he knows he needs to do something to ensure that you don’t wake up.
Wordlessly he sits on the cushion that is being occupied by your feet to get out of your line of sight. A more panicked whimper leaves your lips at the movement and Bradley’s hand shoots out to your ankle instinctively. He freezes as soon as he feels the soft skin of your ankle bone, holding his breath as his eyes trail back up to your face. Your brows are still furrowed, but strangely you’ve quieted.
Bradley swallows, his thumb tracing soft circles against your ankle before he fully realizes he’s doing it. A minute passes. And then another. And then your face begins to relax. Your features soften and your breaths even out. The light of the TV dances across your cheek bones and casts shadows onto the crevices of your face. It has Bradley’s breath catching in his throat. You look like one of those renaissance paintings Bob tried to show him once.
After another minute of peace, Bradley carefully gets up, giving you one last glance before he heads back to his room. He feels strange, like there’s a piece of this puzzle he’s missing. Maybe it’s just because you fell asleep watching The Bourne Supremacy, he tries to reason. But deep down, Bradley knows that isn’t right. Maybe you just have nightmares. Maybe it doesn’t mean anything. Maybe he’s overthinking all of this and should go back to sleep.
His hand hasn’t even reached the door knob of his room door before another whimper cuts through the silent air. Bradley sighs.
“Alright, toots. I hear you,” he grumbles quietly as he turns back around, though it’s entirely void of its usual bite. More of a mumble, if anything.
He sits back down by your feet, settling into a comfortable position as his fingers resume their patterns on your ankle and he feels you relax under his fingertips. Bradley picks up the remote with his other hand, turning on the closed captions of The Bourne Supremacy and rewinding to start it from the beginning. He watches the movie with his hand on your ankle.
Every couple of minutes, his eyes can’t help but fall to your sleeping features.

fall frenzy req by @saltystormyx: 'I'd like to request a mini-fic with your rockstar!eddie au character. I'll leave it totally open to whatever you want to write.'
fall frenzy set list
back in action with a couple we haven't hung out with in a while! it was nice to get to revisit these two in some way. i had a different story for them to start -- something dirty and slutty -- but i just couldn't get into it. i needed something cozy for them. perhaps now that the seal is broken we can venture into some more slutty stuff between these two at some point. welcome to an early thanksgiving with the munsons before they were married.
tw: 18+, mostly very fluffy, some references to drug abuse, some references to using/addiction/getting clean. otherwise, two hotties in love. reader isn't referred to as 'stella' in this fic but the last name 'rink' is used a couple times to refer to reader and her family.
November, 1992
"I just, ugh honey I feel so awful to cancel on them." You blow your nose into a tissue but also direclty into the phone, making Eddie pull the receiver away from his ear for a second. You called in hysterics from a shoot in New York that you have to do pick up shots in Georgia and the earliest flight back they can manage is on Thanksgiving; leaving your plans to go back upstate to celebrate with your family in the dust. The flights had been paid for, even Wayne was making the trip to Syracuse to celebrate with you and yours. It was finally going to feel normal now that Eddie was three months clean and things had settled down some. He wasn't touring and they were only in the early stages of writing a new album and even then, the band spent most of their nights in the home studio instead of going into the city. Every now and again he'd come upstairs to grab more Pellegrino's out of the fridge and give you kisses on the cheek while you went over potential scripts.
Depsite having moved back at the beginning of November and back to falling asleep tied up with each other, you hadn't put your ring back on yet. It sat resting on your jewelry stand in your dressing room, as shiny and perfect as ever. Your bare ring finger sat as a reminder to him that he's not there yet; that he still has so much to prove -- but he meant what he said. You were gonna be his wife one day.
"Baby, it's okay. They're gonna understand," he assures softly, "It's not like you're doing it on purpose; they know you can't just not go." "It's just s-so stupid. An-an-and it's the first -- fuck, Ed it's the first one without Dad and I just feel so bad for my mom having to look at two empty seats and I don't know, babe. Like, I just feel like I'm r-ruining everything," you choke on your words, fully blubbering into the phone, make up smearing down your cheeks onto the hotel pillows you're leaning against. "You're not ruining anything sweetheart," his voice soft but firm, "You want me to get on a flight to you? I'll go right now."
"N-no it's okay," you sniffle, "I'm meeting up with Simone and getting dinner and we're gonna red-eye back home so we can get ready for Atlanta."
"Oh, so I get to see you tomorrow morning?" he grins, feeling selfish almost at how much he loves hearing your time away from him is cut so short.
"Yeah," you sniffle again, his heart pangs, "Probably really early."
"I'll have breakfast ready for you, okay? What do you want?"
"Um," you shrug to no one, "I don't know. Waffles." "Okay," he smiles, "Waffles it is."
The call home was less sweet; your mom understood but you could hear the dull ache in her voice. The subtle sadness mom's have in their register that they try to mask with an airy laugh -- years of feigning their own disappointement from life barely lived. She knows you're busy and she understands, she tells you a million times. You hear it but you don't feel it; you know she'd rather you blow it all off to come home again and see your family.
You'd rather blow it all off to see your family. Eddie had only seen your childhood home once -- quaint in size, snickered when he saw that you grew up with two guest rooms. He knew you grew up with it made, but you never made it so clear. You had walked through the trailer park to visit his old stomping grounds like you knew was growing up poor was like. Maybe you were a good actress after all.
Tumblr media
He had waffles ready when you got in at five in the morning, who knows when he woke up to start. The Belgian Waffle maker you got sent as a wrap gift two years ago was finally out of the plastic, box still on the kitchen floor. Batter dripped down the sides and next to it a serving plate of a small mountain of waffles.
The pink stains on his fingers give a hint to who sliced all the strawberries and other fruit. Separated and glistening in the crystal bowls you really only take out for special oocasions.
Three cans of whipped cream sat at the end of the counter, one already opened with a small peak puffing out. 'Ya gotta try the product first, it's the whipped cream tax'
He's so silly. You missed his silly.
You're not home for very long, a couple days before you start packing for Georgia and you spend it all in his arms. Meals together, sitting on his lap in the studio while he tries out new melodies, you even spent one night curled up in the living room to watch a pay per view fight of Harrington's. Their friendship was finally starting to heal up after Eddie's last relapse.
He pouts when you get ready to leave, shrugging your coat on after you put the cordless phone down to confirm your car. You pout back at him.
"Don't give me that face, you're making me feel worse," you frown.
"M'just gonna miss you," he says quietly, "It's lonely here when you're not around."
"I know," you nod up at him. You don't mean for the comment to sting, but it does a little. It's not like he didn't want to be there with you this past year.
He leans down to kiss you, both hands reaching up to cup your cheeks.
"Don't be sad," he mumbles, nuzzling his nose against yours, "We'll have a nice Thanksgiving together when you get back, just us." "What about Wayne?" you ask, heart panging at the though of his Uncle eating alone. "Don't worry about it, sweet thing," he lets his lips linger against yours again for just a moment, "Wayne'll be okay."
The flight had never been more turbulent. Atlanta had never felt more cold.
Tumblr media
You hear the phone ring and ring for the second time only to get the tin-like sound of your mothers voice again, 'Thanks for calling the Rink's! We aren't able to come to the phone right now; but please leave your name and number and we'll call you back. If you're trying to reach Stella Rink, please contact her publicist at Starmade PR Corp.'
"Hi, it's me -- again," you say into the receiver, "I'm sure you guys are busy cooking or have the game on but um, I just wanted to say happy Thanksgiving guys...God, come on, I know you're there. Just pick up!"
Your voice wavers, "I'm sorry I couldn't make it I just --" "NOW BOARDING FIRST CLASS - FLIGHT 7995 TO LOS ANGELES."
You feel a slight pull on your arm from Simone, sighing while you hang up the pay phone to make it to check in.
"They hate me," you mumble. "They don't hate you, Rink," she assures, hand soothingly skating up and down your back, "They know what your life is like." The flight is long and you sleep during most of it, the sad pit in your chest spreading through heavy in your body. You couldn't wait to just be home and eat take out on the couch with your man; have him whisper sweet nothings of reassurance while you pout in the glow of the TV.
Rain pours in California, which is not common but of course happening on the day you feel so awful. You hope that they at least called the house; that Eddie had messages to relay to you; anything so that the guilt didn't eat you alive.
You make it home faster than usual; everyone home with their families leaves less people on the road. You tip the driver triple the fare after he helps bring your bags to the door -- holiday cheer already flowing in your veins.
To your surprise, Eddie opens the door as you go to unlock it, his smile evident on his face. He's dressed cozily, black on black Corroded Coffin sweat shirt and matching pants, socks scrunch down on his ankles -- tattoos covered outside from what peek out at the wrists.
"Happy Thanksgiving, baby," he grins. He takes your bags, putting them to the side in the lobby while you kick your shoes off at the door. He pulls you in to a tight hug to his chest and even through the laundry detergent you can smell the food from all the way out here. Aromatics, butter, garlic, rolls, turkey -- it smells like comfort, it smells like home.
"Did you cook?" you ask with hopeful surprise, "You made like, a whole thing?"
"I did the dinner rolls and I bought all the food; but I'm kind of shit at that home cooking stuff so I called in some reinforcements," his laugh is grizzly with smoked cigarette gruffness.
"Come on," he ushers you forward, taking your hand while you walk through the entry way and down the hall towards the kitchen. His hand is warm and worn, still slightly clammy while the nervous teenager in him still stumbles over dealing with you. Being with you. Loving you.
The kitchen is busy, people bustling and moving and at first you think he must've just hired a team but then a flash of your mom's red Thanksgiving apron catches your eye. Your neice's giggle rings through the echoey walls. Your sister Luna sits at the breakfast nook with your nephew to keep him out of the way, helping him with a coloring book from deep in your stash downstairs.
"Wait, what?" you ask outloud. Your mom looks up, a smile in her eyes when she sees you. "Happy Thanksgiving, honey!" she smiles big, both of your sisters getting up and following her while they flock to you, a group hug of Rinks in the entry way of the kitchen. You heart swells in your chest while you feel them surround you, smell the familiar fragrance of your mom's perfume; your sister's shampoo. It had been so long, too long.
"What're you guys doing here?" you ask, tears welling up in your eyes while the emotion takes you over. You try to sniffle back the tingle in your nose while a cry comes on. "Well, Ed called us when you left for Atlanta and asked if we wanted to all come here," your mom answers, "He got all our flights and everything."
You look over your mom's head to see Eddie leaning up against the fridge, wiping his own tear away off his cheek to see you so happy.
"You were so sad, angel," he shrugs, "I didn't want your holiday to feel so lonely. So y'know -- I got everyone here for you instead. Can't have my baby sad on Thanksgiving."
Your lower lip wobbles when you look at him, his soft gaze while your sister's go back to their previous tasks, "Let me help you bring your bags up."
When he says help he means he takes them all in one trip, you take note that all the guest rooms have been set up. Your family already unpacked and lived in like they've been here a day or two. By the looks of their suitcases they'll be here through the weekend. Your heart swells again. "Where's Wayne?" you ask quietly while you make it into your room. He pops your bags by the entry way of the dressing room to unpack for you later, coming up close to you to press a kiss to your cheek. "He's out back smoking the Turkey and listening to Alice's Restaurant on a loop," he chuckles, "He just drinks beer and hangs out -- definitely has a little crush on your mom though."
"Oh my god," you giggle back, "Well she's very pretty, I get it." "He's got a real soft spot for your neice and nephew," he nods, running a hand over the top of your head, "He's gonna be such a great grandpa."
"I bet he is," you bite your lip for a moment, thinking about a future where that's true. Where you have rockstar Eddie Munson's babies. You wish you could report all of this to the papers instead of whatever shit they put in the tabloid rags about him. HANDSOME ROCKSTAR FIANCE SAVES THANKSGIVING FOR AMERICA'S SWEETHEART!
People would read that, right? You'd read that.
"Was it a good surprise?" he asks, "It wasn't too much to spring on you I was nervous th--" "This is perfect," you nod, "It's so perfect, honey. You're perfect." "You're perfect," he counters, arms wrapping tight around you to give you a tight squeeze, "Why don't you get yourself together and I'll meet you downstairs. I gotta set things up in the dining room, things'll be ready to plate soon."
"Okay," you nod, pulling your airport best off over your head while you watch him disappear back into the house.
Tumblr media
Dinner was one to remember. You hadn't felt the true familial magic of the holiday since you were a kid and suddenly it had flown back with a veangance.
In true Rink fashion, the after dinner digestif of Irish Coffee followed you all down to the inhome theater to watch Miracle on 34th street; the little ones and Eddie nursing hot cocoa with way too many marshmallows pouring over the tops of the mugs. "I don't have to have one," you assured him, squeezing him arm gently while you looked at the cup in front of you. "Don't worry about me," his voice calm and confident, knowing he was only going to make it half way through the movie before falling asleep anyway. Most of your family did except you and Wayne who was surprised to find out he was making his way to California instead of upstate New York.
"Couldn't find my good winter boots so it turned out for the best, I guess."
Your sleepy family finally roused, your older sister getting the kids set up in their own room downstairs before she made her way up to her room. Luna and your mom following suit upstairs, Wayne following soon after.
You and Eddie clean up the small theater and head to the kitchen to assess the damage of what needs to be done. Eddie gave house keeping the weekend off to spend with their families; so for the first time in a while dishes like this were all on the two of you.
Thank god for dishwashers and a good Bing Crosby Christmas record -- you're able to clean up the kitchen in no time; stealing kisses in between songs, getting lost in a dance or two.
When you get upstairs to your room you're both exhausted; but not so tired that your eye don't linger when he starts to undress. You know you don't have the energy for the night cap he'd like but it's nice to watch him; the dip of his waist, the way his shoulder blades move under his skin on his back. "Still hungry, Rink?" he winks; heat flames your cheeks.
"No, no, I'm just -- y'know," you shrug innocently, "You look good, baby."
"Thank you," he hums while he changes into a pair of boxers for bed. You make your way into your dressing room and slip into a little night gown for the hell of it, silk and lace so he has something nice to wake up to -- something to show how grateful you are for putting this together.
When you crawl into bed next to him in the still of the night, one arm wraps around you instinctively. Heaviness dips into your eyes at the touch, it's always so hard to sleep without him there. Your hand smooths over his chest when he feels it; the drag of metal across his skin. His hand comes up to take yours and his thumb reaches up to search for it; breath catching in his chest when he can confirm it.
You put your ring back on.
"Really?" he whispers into the dark, "Yeah?"
"Yeah Munson," you nod into the crook of his neck, "Gonna be your wife one day."

After reading the accidentally called NRC staff member “dad”, imagine the unholy shock when Neige is asking to date mc/yuu
A/N:Gotcha! As with many requests, I went from 0 ideas to three million over night 😂 can never win. It's also very important to me that you know that I had to pause editing this to pet my cat 😍
Tumblr media
This is literally the best possible outcome, in his mind. The only person who'd be worthy of you at NRC is Vil, but you can't date him, that's incest! (A poor lovesick Vil has tried to remind him time and again that you are not related, and Divus is neither of your dad. He got sent to his room for that) So Neige LeBlanch, a model, an actor, an RSA student, a man of culture….you could not have chosen better, puppy!
That said…he'll be keeping a close eye on Neige. If there's anything that needs retrained, Crewel will not hesitate to put that pup in his place! But he doubts that will be an issue…😒
Tumblr media
Are you serious? This scrawny little prince boy is supposed to protect your fragile magic-less form? No fucking way!!!
Vargas training camp is back in session! He has to make sure that Neige is worthy! It'll only be you, him, and Neige, out in the middle of the forest. Either Niege will prove himself to be strong enough to protect you from overblots and evil mages, or you will see what a wimpy loser he is! Ah, he's really too clever, isn't he? 😁
No matter how many times you tell him you can take care of yourself, and that Neige is actually top of his class at RSA, and is well versed in combat skills from his time as an actor, Vargas is never gonna hear it. All he hears is "blah blah bleh blah". Truly, you picked the highest maintenance man to be your dad.
Tumblr media
Neige is loaded! YOU'RE RICH!!!!
He's eagerly ceasing negotiations with the mysterious guardian of Malleus Draconia, and going on and on about how wonderful this is, and how he raised a perfect little chick! Meanwhile you and Neige are awkwardly sitting in the chairs on the other side of his desk wondering if you should still be listening to this…
He's another one you'll have to remind that he didn't raise you. You just kind of got swept up under his wing! Almost literally! Neige doesn't have to buy him gifts. Niege doesn't have to ask his permission to remove you from the nest, which, by the way, you were forced to live in! You don't have to tell him what you and Neige are going to do today!
Then again…every time you remind him of those things he starts sobbing. And Neige is too sweet, and completely falls for the crocodile tears…so really it's up to you how you handle this.
Tumblr media
He is totally fine with you dating. 😊
As far as you will ever know, that is.
He is a man with means, who can afford a quick background check on Neige LeBlanch. It's not a personal thing, it's just he has spent so much time teaching the men at NRC, that he forgets there are non problematic men in existence.
But once the background check comes back squeaky clean, he's 100% supportive!
You: Do you want to stay for dinner?
Trein: Do you want to stay forever?
Tumblr media
As I said in the post this was requested from, Sam is probably the chillest of the "dads". He is so chill about you dating Neige! So so chill!
He's chill about it…but his friends have seen a lot of bad people in their time.
Neige doesn't want to freak you out, but he definitely feels like something has been following him recently…his bodyguards don't see anything though, so it must be in his head. Ah well, no use worrying you over nothing.

Y/n could never have envisioned in a million years that she would find herself in a relationship, let alone the KOOK PRINCE RAFE CAMERON.
Y/n was quite introverted, keeping mostly to herself and interacting primarily with her family. Her job was just as unremarkable; she worked in administration, handling tasks like bill payments and data input – essentially everything that typically comes to mind when you think of administrative work. This was all for her family's business.
Leaving school after completing 10th grade, she entered the workforce directly. It was her father's business, and though she wasn't officially a personal assistant, she was practically treated like one. Y/n felt like she was constantly under her father's thumb, especially since her parents had separated about three and a half years ago.
As she turned 21, she had hoped for more respect and independence, but the reality proved to be quite the opposite. However, one night, she took a daring step and sneaked out of her father's house to attend the Annual Bonfire at the beach.
Dressed in a white top, denim shorts, and a lovely flowery headpiece, even though she didn't know many people there, she felt that if she didn't break free from her father's shadow soon, she'd remain trapped in his world.
As Y/n arrived at the bonfire, the festivities were in full swing, with intoxicated individuals scattered all around. She made her way to the keg to grab a drink, completely unaware that from the moment she walked in, Rafe Cameron had not taken his eyes off her. He was captivated by the way her long hair gracefully fell over her shoulders, the rhythmic sway of her hips to the music, and her sun-kissed figure.
Rafe made his way through the crowd, leaving his group of friends behind, determined to approach her. Just as he was about to tap her on the shoulder, Y/n unexpectedly turned around and their collision resulted in her spilling her drink all over him.
"OMG, I'm so sorry," she exclaimed, reaching for some napkins on the table to help wipe him down.
"I totally ruined your shirt," Y/n continued to apologise, her voice filled with concern.
Rafe gently took the napkin out of her hand and reassured her, saying, "Hey, it's all good, don't worry about it."
Y/n looked up and found herself gazing into his stunning deep blue eyes. In that instant, they both locked eyes and shared a profound connection. It felt like love at first sight.
With a playful grin, Rafe quipped, "If it was my favourite shirt, it would be a different story."
Their laughter filled the air, and Y/n placed the used napkins behind her and tossed them into the bin, breaking the moment but feeling a newfound connection with Rafe.
"I'm Y/n, by the way," she introduced herself, extending her hand for a handshake.
"Rafe," he replied, shaking her hand with a smile. "I know," he chuckled.
He then asked, "Do you want to dance?" setting his cup down.
"Sure," she replied, and he placed his hand on her lower back, guiding her to the dance area, the start of a night they would both remember.
Dancing to the rhythm of "Promiscuous," Rafe's hands found Y/n's waist, gently pulling her closer to him. She welcomed his advances, placing her hands behind her head and on his neck. As the alcohol began to take effect, Y/n pressed her hips back into him, their bodies moving in sync.
Rafe leaned down and started placing soft, wet kisses along her neck. Y/n tilted her head to grant him better access, and he took the opportunity to gently suck on her nape just above her breast.
With a firm grip on her hips, he pulled her back onto his bulge, their intense attraction growing with each passing moment.
Y/n spun around, her right hand finding its place on Rafe's neck, and she crushed her lips into his with a kiss that was soft yet filled with intense passion. He gripped her butt and signalled for her to jump, a gesture she eagerly followed. They left the bustling party behind, seeking a quieter spot.
Leaning against a tree, Rafe's fingers started tracing circles up the inside of her thigh, causing her to release a soft moan of pleasure. Suddenly, he withdrew from the kiss, and Y/n felt the loss of his lips on hers. Concerned, she asked, "Is something wrong?"
"No, it's just... I don't want to go too fast," Rafe explained. "I really like you, and I don't want our first time to be at some party when we're both drunk."
Y/n smiled in agreement and gave him a gentle peck on the lips, her hands resting on his chest. "Besides, I would like to take you on a date first," he added.
Their moment was interrupted by fireworks being set off in the distance. Y/n responded with enthusiasm, wrapping her arms around him and saying, "I'd love to go on a date with you." Their connection deepening, they continued to enjoy the magical moment together.
Today…..
As Y/n's alarm blared, she reluctantly got out of bed and began the process of getting ready for work. Today was a bit different because her father would also be at the office. She had a quick breakfast of toast and prepared a takeaway coffee. Y/n had told her father that she would be picked up after work, but she didn't mention that her boyfriend, Rafe, would be the one picking her up.
Y/n and Rafe had been dating since their very first date, and he treated her like she was a princess. He spoiled her, buying her anything she wanted, and he respected her in ways she had never experienced before. Their love had grown stronger with time, and Y/n cherished every moment they spent together.
Rafe was undeniably wealthy, but his financial status never altered the way he behaved when she wasn't around. He was genuine, transparent, and always open and honest, with no secrets between them. Given his family's substantial wealth, they were often targeted by people looking to benefit from it. Rafe had his own set of bodyguards, and when they began dating, Y/n also had the protection of these bodyguards, ensuring their safety and privacy in the midst of the world's expectations and temptations.
Around 3:00 PM, three black SUVs pulled up in front of the office. One of Y/n's co-workers noticed this on the security camera and alerted everyone, saying, "Are you guys seeing this?" He drew everyone's attention to the SUVs parked outside.
A man in a black suit, sporting black sunglasses and an earpiece, emerged from one of the cars. This was James, the head of Rafe's security team. He positioned himself near the passenger door, standing on guard, prepared for any potential trouble or security concerns.
*Ding* Message from Rafe 😘
Rafe: We are out the front baby:)  Y/n: I can see that!! 😉 Rafe: WYM? Y/n: Cameras! Rafe: 😂😂 Y/n: Everyone thinks someones going down. Rafe: Someone is…. Y/n: What? Who? Rafe: Me on you tonight 👅 Y/n: 🤤🤭 Y:n See you soon
As the discussions about the SUVs outside continued, Y/n's co-worker, Dillon, arrived in the work van. He couldn't help but notice the man standing near the cars and briefly exchanged a look with him. Dillon grabbed his belongings from the van's passenger side and entered the office, placing his things on his desk. His attention was now fixed on the office's surveillance cameras, observing the scene outside.
Dillon couldn't contain his curiosity and asked, "Who is that?" He began pacing around the office, periodically glancing out the window, clearly concerned about any potential developments or approaching individuals.
"Somebody should go out and see what they're doing," Y/n's father remarked with a hint of humor. The rest of the team started playfully pointing to each other, like children discussing who would confront the "bad people" outside.
However, Y/n rose from her seat and walked towards them, saying with a smirk, "I'll go." This unexpected decision left them all surprised, and they collectively expressed their concerns, as if they were about to advise her not to go. Turning to face them, Y/n reassured them, "It's okay; they're here for me." With that, she left the office to confront the situation outside.
As Y/n walked out and James gave her a kiss on the cheek, the onlookers in the office still wore puzzled expressions. Y/n greeted James, asking, "Hey, how are you?" and taking a step back.
James responded with a laugh, "Not much today, just listening to Rafe talk about you all day." The playful exchange revealed the camaraderie within the group.
"I heard that," Rafe chimed in as another guard opened the car door for him. He got out of the car, approaching Y/n to give her a kiss on the lips. Breaking away from the kiss, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. Y/n chuckled and leaned into his side, saying, "Sounds like a great day." Their affectionate reunion showcased the strong bond between them.
"When do you finish, baby?" Rafe inquired.
"Right now, I'll go get my stuff," Y/n replied, leaving his side and heading back inside to collect her belongings.
Y/n’s Father’s POV
"I'll go," Y/n declared as she walked past her father. He shouted back, "What?"
Y/n reassured, "It's okay, they are here for me." She then left the office, and her father and co-workers couldn't help but watch the scene unfold on the surveillance cameras. They observed as a man in a suit kissed her on the cheek and they engaged in conversation, appearing to know each other. Another man exited the car and also kissed her, which left everyone in the office exclaiming, "OMG."
One of her co-workers, Dillon, asked, "Is that her boyfriend?" To which the father replied, "I don't know?" The situation had them all confused, and they anxiously awaited Y/n's return, trying to make sense of what they had witnessed.
Y/n re-entered the office and noticed everyone staring at her. Her father's voice held a tinge of anger as he inquired, "Who is that?"
Calmly, Y/n replied, "That's my boyfriend," and gestured with her index finger towards the outside.
Her father stepped forward, asking rather abruptly, "Are you going to introduce me to him?"
Y/n responded with a hint of humor, "I wasn't planning to yet, but I can tell from your reaction that you'd like to."
"Of course, I want to meet him and that guy in the suit who kissed you!" her father exclaimed, his anger evident. Feeling his emotions, Y/n agreed and instructed him to wait there.
She then returned outside to Rafe and James, saying, "Hey, my father wants to meet you," as she intertwined her fingers with Rafe's. Rafe asked, "Only if you want me to?" to which Y/n nodded. "You too, James, he insists," she added, conveying her father's desire to meet them both.
As they followed Y/n inside and met her father, she introduced Rafe by saying, "Dad, this is my boyfriend, Rafe." Rafe extended his hand, and Y/n's father shook it. Y/n continued, "And this is James, Rafe's... our bodyguard," the last part said a bit more quietly, though her father certainly heard it.
Y/n's father, always inclined to assume the worst, became angry and questioned, "Why would you need a bodyguard? Are you putting my daughter in danger?"
Rafe calmly reassured him, saying, "I would never put Y/n in danger; she is safe with us. You don't have to worry." He placed an assuring arm around Y/n's waist.
Y/n sensed the tension and intervened, saying, "Okay, we should go," as she stepped away to collect her belongings. Rafe and her father remained facing each other in a tense silence.
One of Y/n's co-workers, Dillon, pulled her aside and said, "Just thought I'd let you know we all think your boyfriend seems really nice. And he's really good-looking too," with a sly grin.
Y/n smirked back at Dillon and replied, "Thank you." She then came back to Rafe, said her goodbyes to her father, and walked out of the office behind James. James opened the car door for them, and Rafe helped her into the car before following her.
They settled in the back of the car, holding each other after the rather strange conversation. Y/n let her shoulders drop and apologised, saying, "Sorry about him."
Rafe reassured her, "Don't apologise for him, baby," and gave her a hug.
His hand brushed her face, and he leaned in for a kiss. His hand traced up her thigh and squeezed it. His lips moved from her mouth to her neck, leaving small purple marks.
"I love you," Y/n said, pulling his hair gently.
Rafe responded with affection, "I love you too, and as soon as we get home, I'm going to show you just how much." Their connection remained strong, and they looked forward to a more private and intimate moment together tonight.

✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
10 months ago, you and your husband Changin welcomed your daughter into this world. Her name is Binna and she is yours and Changbin’s world. Changbin was the proudest dad to be and is now the proudest dad.
Even in your 42 week pregnancy— Binna came late, loving her warm, safe home in your belly a little too much— he was proudly telling everyone and everyone that he came across that he was going to be a dad. And when i say everyone, i mean everyone. He told strangers, his bandmates ( like a million and one times), JYP, his managers, he told STAY on bubble and in lives, he told his stylists, his bandmates’ stylists, he even told you.
Currently, you were about 30 weeks into your pregnancy. So, your bump was round and proud. You and Changbin wer5e cuddled on your couch, watching your favorite k-drama as he rubbed your belly. Turning to you, an ecstatic giggle tumbled from his lips. “Yes, jagi?” you asked him, pausing the drama on the Tv in front of you. “I’m going to be a dad.” He giggled, his hands caressing your bump. “Yes, you are, Binnie.’ you patted his hand and laughed. “A baby. Our baby, jagiya!” he exclaimed, he was just exploding with excitement. Yes, you knew you were having a baby, your bump proving the point. But, you couldn’t crush his cute excitement.
Pressing a kiss to his cheek, you giggled. “You know, i hope she looks like you, binnie.” Gasp, “yah! You can;t just say things like that to me, yeobo!” he pouted. “Why not, my binnie?” You giggled, pinching his  plump cheek. Oh, that’s why. Sniffling, he whined and whined. “I’ll cry, jagiyaaaaaa.” oh, he was so cute. “Baby, why are you crying?”
“You said you hope our baby looks like me,” he sniffled out.
And you thought your pregnancy hormones were all over the board. Well, at least he’s cute.
Holding his cheeks in your hands, you pressed a plethora of soft kisses all around the perimeter of his face. “Waaahhhhhhh. My Binnie is so cute!”  you google out, seeing a soft crimson blush rise up his neck, cover his cheeks and tint his ears. “Why is my hubby blushing? You’re too cute?” nYou teased, his eyes crinkling as his perfectly straight pearly white teeth flashed with his wide grin. “You’re making me! Yeoboooooo!”
“How am i  making you blush, huh binnie?” you giggled, as his hands resumed their usual belly rubbing. Such belly rubbing causing your already daddy’s girl to kick from her secure place in your womb. Laughing, you pinched his cheeks, “see. Even Binna thinks her appa’s cute!”
Again, he giggled, as a blush tinted his cheeks again.
“Shush, yeobo.”
That was a little over 11 months ago. Since then, you and Changbin have been soaking up the precious times with your baby girl. When she became Earth side, you remember how chubby she was– and still is. Her late birth made her a chunky and squishy baby. 10 pounds and 5 ounces to be exact. So, safe to say, Binna is a chunky girl. And a replica of her appa– big brown doe eyes, the same smile, raven black her and the same giggle.
Oh, her giggle, one to match her appa’s.
Currently, you were sitting next to Changbin on your couch, a 10 month old Binna on his lap. She was giggling and hitting her hands against his chest as Changbin’s lips were blowing raspberries on her cheeks. “Hi, Binna! Binna bear!” you cooed, leaning over to press a kiss to her cheek.
Giggling, she squealed and turned her head to look at you. “Eomma!” she squealed– although her first word was appa. Something Changbin was very  proud of and told everyone. “Hi baby doll! Are you having so much fun?” you perched, as one of her small, chubby hands reached towards you.
Taking her hand in your, you smiled and playfully bit at it. “Eomma! Eomma!” She exclaimed, plopping herself to lay against Changbin’s chest. Smiling, Changbin held her close to his chest, his hands supporting her back and legs. “My binna bear, give appa some love,” he pouted, pressing his lips to her forehead. Gasping, she looked up at him, her pink lips forming a small o-shape, before forming a gummy smile as she giggled. “Appa!” she exclaimed, her short legs kicking.
reaching her arms up, she pressed her hands against his cheeks, smooshing them to make a fish face. “Appa!” She squealed, loud, high pitched giggles falling from her lips. “Ppo-ppo?” Changbin asked, hands lightly tapping on her bum, as he puckered his lips even more. Puckering her own lips, Binna raised herself to be level with Changbin’s face.
What Changbin thought would be his daughter giving him a sweet kiss, was not that.
Puckering her lips, Binna leaned and bit down on Changbin’s chin. “I-Binna bear, what are you doing, bubba? I wanted a kiss.” He laughed, feeling her nomming and gumming at his chin. The cold wetness of her drool coating the slightly stubbled skin of his chin. “Okay, princess, come here,” you cooed.
Leaning back, you carefully lifted her off his chin and subsequently off of his chest. “Yah! Yah yah yah, I still haven’t gotten my kiss,” Changbin whined, seeing Binna curl into your hold, her hands holding a tight grasp onto your shirt, as you peppered her chubby face in kisses. “Oh hush, let me love on my princess,” you retorted. “Binnie, you get plenty plenty plenty of kisses. Doesn’t he, princess? Doesn’t appa get so many kisses?” You smiled, as she giggled and kicked her feet. “Eomma! Eomma ppo-ppo!” She giggled, smacking her lips together. “Yes, baby. Kisses for eomma,” you giggled, kissing her lips.
Pouting, Changbin leaned over, with his lips puckered. “Not fair, jagiya! I want Binna kisses too,” he pouted, watching Binna smack her lips onto yours. “How about me, binna bear?” He pouted, leaning in to try to steal a kiss. “Eomma kiss!” She squealed back, much to Changbin’s dismay and chagrin. “Wha-why not appa, binna bear?” He pouted, pretending to sniffle.
What a dramatic man. Hanging out with Hyunjin too much, although he would disagree.
Laughing, you squeezed binna to your chest as she kissed your cheeks. “Waaah! Thank you, angel! So many kisses for eomma!” You laughed, watching as Changbin’s jaw dropped. Bro was flabbergasted, appalled, taken aback. He was shook.
“Wh-why does eomma get kisses but not me, binna?” all Binna did was giggle, continuing to give you kisses. Squealing happily, Binna laid her small chunky body against your chest and smiled. “Because she loves meeeeeeeee. Isn’t that right, princess?” You cooed, rocking her back and forth in your arms. “Love eomma so much so much, huh, Binna bear?” Nodding her head, she pressed her lips against yours before resorting to laying her chubby cheek against your shoulder.
Maybe, she wasn’t so much of a daddy’s girl after all. Lies. Binna was the epitome of a daddy’s girl. Oh, she’s crying? Changbin walks in and those tears dry up and she goes back to being her bubbly self.  She can’t fall asleep? Put her on Binnie’s chest and she’s out like a light. You’re trying to feed her mashed veggies and she won;t eat them? Let Changbin feed Binna and she'll eat those veggies right up.
Daddy’s girl
But, you could pretend for a little bit that she was a mommy’s girl. Just for now, until her daddy’s girl side came back out.
Smiling, you cuddled her small body close to you, her arms curled around your neck for some much needed eomma cuddles. “But…. she’s my binna bear…just want a kiss is all.” He sighed out, gently running his hand over her pink sleeper onesie clad back. “Binnie, my sweet sweet husband….you know she’s the biggest daddy’s girl. She clings to you, day in and day out. Not that I'm complaining. I find it adorable, you and your mini. But, she needs momma kisses and cuddles sometimes.” You conceded, gently leaning forward to press your lips to his in a soft kiss. “I know, jagiya. I know,” You soothed back, running his knuckle over your knuckle. “You’re the best wife, eomma and partner anyone could have. I don’t blame her for needing some lovings from you, in fact I want to join,” he giggled.
“Join? Yah, be careful, you sap.” You teased, as he maneuvered himself to be fully wrapped around your side. Much like Binna was cuddled into your shoulder with her cheek pressed against you and her arms curled around your neck; Changbin was wrapped around you. His arms curling around your waist with his head on the opposite shoulder.
Sighing, you turned and kissed a kiss to his forehead before repeating the same to Binna. “Aigo, now I have two cuddly babies, don’t i?” you pondered to yourself. Nodding, Changbin smiled and pressed a soft kiss to the underside of your jaw. “Indeed you do, yeobo. Me and my mini.” situating yourself into a more comfortable position, you leaned to settle your back further into the couch. “Now, how am I going to get up if I have to use the bathroom?” You questioned, feeling him nuzzle further into your side. “We’ll figure that out when we get there, yeobo.” he smiled, his big brown eyes filled with nothing but pure love and adoration for you.
You really do have two babies, in the best way. There was a lot of Changbin’s personality that showed and carried in Binna’s.  She got his bubbly personality, his eyes, his laugh and giggle and his love for your love and cuddles.
she was the epitome of a daddy’s girl. She’s tired? Give her to Binnie and she’ll fall asleep in the snap of a finger. She’s upset or fussy? Not when her appa holds her and kisses her cheeks. You made pureed veggies and she won’t eat them? Sure, not when you try to feed her. But, let Changbin feed her and those veggies will be eaten without crying, fussing or a tantrum.
And her favourite plushy? You guessed it….dwaekki.
Curling himself into your side, Changbin laid his head on your shoulder and pressed a soft kiss to the underside of your jaw. Unknowingly, his knee was pressing against your lower region. “Aigo, Changbin-ah. Don’t do that please, my love. Then I’ll have to pee.” You breathed out, wiggling in your spot a bit. “Oops. sorry, jagi.” He nodded, head still tucked into your shoulder as he moved his leg to sit lower. “Thank you baby.” You smiled, pressing a kiss to his nose.
Laying into the couch, you sighed. “At least if I have to go to the bathroom, I can take binna with me.”  Wait, Binna goes but not him? Changbin thought to himself. So he pouted and looked up at you.“If you go to the bathroom, I get to go right too?” he asked, settled into your side. “I-what kind of question is that Changbin? Why would you go.” “Well, it only seems fair and right since baby princess gets to go.” this man. He is something, that’s for sure. “Binnie….I love you and all. I do, really but please be so for real.”
Time had passed so fast that neither you or Changbin had realised it was 8 o’clock. Which was Binna’s usual bedtime. So, she would eventually grow sleepy and  fall asleep. However, Changbin was still tightly curled around your body. His arms around your waist and one leg thrown over the tops of your thighs.
Changbin had always fallen asleep if he was cuddled to you, and Binna would as well. Well, when she wasn’t in Changbin’s arms.  While being so befuddled by your dear husband asking if he was going to the bathroom with you, you had failed to notice how Binna had gone completely relaxed against you and fallen asleep.
Peeking down at her, you smiled to yourself seeing how her eyes had closed, dark eyelashes fanning over her chubby cheeks. While her arms were still curled around your neck, they had gone more lax. A state of sleepiness and relaxation consuming her small body. Her legs were relaxed, lax against your torso. “Awwwww, princess is asleep, bin.” You smiled, gently rubbing her back.
“She is,hm” He smiled, gently lifting his head to see his 10 month old daughter so completely relaxed and at peace in your arms. “Mhm. My cuddles do have that effect. Even on you, binnie. “ It was true. Something abo0ut being in your arms or just curled around you brought a sense of peace and urged anyone to fall asleep within minutes. Especially Binna and Changbin.
Changbin could never place a finger on it as to why your cuddles so easily made him fall asleep. Maybe it was the way you would play with his hair or run your hands up and down the expanse of his back. Maybe it was your soft scent, a scent he knew as home– soft cashmere notes tinged with vanilla and a hint of a light spice. Whatever it was , he would never complain. Often getting the best sleep when he was in your arms or cuddled up to your body and Binna seemed to be the same.
Feeling himself yawn, he nestled his head into your shoulder and pressed a kiss to the space of skin that your shirt didn’t cover. “Sleepy, binnie?” you perched, pressing a kiss to his temple before resting your cheek against his soft black curls. “Mhm,” was all he was able to get out before another yawn cut him off.
His strong arms, once tightly wound around your waist, had loosened their hold. Still, they were holding you and Binna close to him and his leg had relaxed on its spot on your lap. He was almost there, the realm of his dreams creeping upon him and embracing him in their hold. The big brown eyes that had been passed onto his daughter, asleep in your hold, drew closed. His own eyelashes spanning the tops of his cheeks.
Smiling to yourself, you gently manoeuvred your cuddle puddle so you could lay more comfortably on the large plush couch. Binna still safe, tucked against your chest with Changbin curled into your side. Pressing a kiss to his hair, you smiled and repeated the same to Binna’s hair. “Good night, binnie. I love you to the moon and back.”
“I love you too, forever,” was all you heard before falling asleep yourself. Warmly welcomed to the world of dreams where you would see Binna and Binnie, even while asleep.
They were yours forever. Binnie and Binna, and you wouldn’t have it any other way. Blessed was an understatement when it comes to the lights of your life.

part one
The issue with Will Solace is not that he is sarcastic and flirty. In fact, Nico finds that part of it incredibly endearing. The issue is that he acts that way with everyone. He had this underlying level of charm to him, one that seemed to lay under his skin and was deemed incapable of being washed away. It was the way he could banter with practically anyone like they were an old friend, granted most of them were but still, and starting conversations never seemed to prove any form of difficulty to him.
Nico pondered this as he watched Will stroll around the infirmary, his incredibly serious clipboard in hand. It didn’t bother Nico, it’s not like he would even admit it if it did, that the healer would share grins and jokes, and those stupid winks of his. It was truly unfortunate, in Nico’s eyes, that Will had been right. On some level, he did in fact have an undeniable charm to him. You have to be blind not to notice it.
“Has anyone told you that you have a staring problem?” Will had turned back towards Nico, one hand on his hip the other dangling at his side with the clipboard.
Nico flushed, playing it off with his trademark eyeroll, “You may have mentioned this.”
“It’s rather ironic, considering that you have trouble with eye contact,” Nico could nearly hear the playful smirk on Will’s lips, he didn’t need to look up from the speck on the floor to know it was there. “Maybe it’s just that overwhelming amount of charm I have.”
“I do not. And it’s not. You’re not-” Nico huffed, the words not settling right in his throat even after they were spoken. This was just downright unfair. The son of Apollo had this unsettling habit of constantly looking at the people he was speaking to, like directly at them. It made Nico flustered very often, another thing he would never admit, the idea that Will Solace was directly perceiving him as they spoke was enough to cause his sentences to trip and fall on the way out. It wasn’t as if he was pointedly trying to avoid eye contact either, the idea of staring someone directly in the eyes, especially if they happened to be Wills eyes, while trying to converse? Downright distracting in every way.
“Oh yeah, you’re totally cooked, too far gone.” Will shifted his weight, stepping closer to Nico and oh-so-casually leaning up against whatever piece of furniture was nearest. He said a silent thank you to the gods that it wasn’t a rolling cart this time.
“What does that even mean?” Nico peeled his gaze up and pointed it directly at the other boy's eyes, fighting against the uneasy feeling in his stomach.
“You’re obviously succumbing to my dangerous levels of charisma,” Will said, his words flourished with an ever dramatic and overly poetic tone.
“You are so incredibly pathetic.” Nico did his best to lace his own words with anguish and mild amounts of disinterest, he would have liked to think he had picked up pretty good acting skills over the past few years of deception. He, in reality, was not as destined for the stage as he hoped.
“Dudes love a distressed and pitiful man, y’know”
Nico’s face flushed bright red. Did Will know? How could he have known? Nico hadn’t told him about his not-so-secret secret. I mean it was exactly a secret at this point, a lot of people knew he was gay. A lot as in, maybe five people? Still, Nico wasn’t exactly parading that information around freely to anyone who held a conversation with him. Nicos mind shifted, Will had been talking about himself, perhaps the medic was speaking out of his own interest. It wouldn’t be unlikely, I mean if Nico had it correct Kayla had two dads. Maybe it ran in the family? Nico still wasn’t entirely sure how all of it worked. Piper had tried to explain it to him after a conversation he’d had with Jason, who proved to be very supportive but truly not much help, but her own knowledge was limited and Nico had gotten too embarrassed and left. Regardless, the thought swarmed around his head at a million miles an hour, he began to wonder if he had inhaled a swarm of flying insects at some point that had just now decided to wake from hibernation. It wasn’t as if he hadn’t thought about the possibility that Will took interest in other guys before, (out of pure, harmless curiosity, naturally.) but for some reason that statement had made it feel significantly more tangible.
“Hate to interrupt your very productive inventorying,” Kayla appeared from the back of the infirmary, Nico had almost forgotten that she had been there, “But I am incredibly bored and leaving you for archery practice.”
Will, looking to be very slightly embarrassed, glanced at the watch around his wrist and then around the room, appearing to make his mind up on if the infirmary would fall to pieces if she left. Nico didn’t think Will had a choice even if he did speak up, he had learned in the past few weeks that there really is no changing Kayla’s mind once it is set.
“Very well, I will simply have to suffer through your absence.”
“Ugh you’re so dramatic Will,”
Finally, Nico thought, someone sensible around here.
“I am just living my truth,” Will sighed, placing a hand over his heart and setting his face with feigned hardship.
“Yeah, yeah,” Kayla was mostly out the door, she turned back and shot a mischievous glance at her brother, “Try and get some actual work done will ya? And leave the poor boy alone, he’s suffered enough, he doesn’t need your ridiculous excuse of flirting to further it.”
When Nico looked over at Will he was surprised to see that they were roughly equal shades of red. That didn’t help Nico quiet the blush spreading across his face at rapid rates. Was Will actually flirting with him? There could be no way. He must act this way with everyone, there was no chance Nico could be that special.
Will cleared his throat, “Well, let’s get to work then.”
Nico gladly hopped down from his perch on the desk, grateful for any form of distraction. The infirmary was rather quiet, by some miracle. Only two beds were occupied. The summer air was warm and drifted through the room via the open windows that Will claimed would “help the healing”. It had grown to be a rather comfortable, consistent place for Nico, assuming it was overfilled and unstaffed (which was unfortunately often).
Will set him to work almost instantly, handing him a consistent stream of bandages to sort by size and file away into cabinets. They chatted as they worked, casual friendly banter that flowed naturally between them. Luckily Kayla’s comment seemed to knock a little bit of Wills obsession with being charming out of him for the moment being, Nico totally wasn’t even upset it in the slightest.
As their chore wore down slowly and the afternoon hot and late, Will plopped down onto and empty cot, laying back and letting his eyes shut. “Thank you again for the help, Neeks.”
“Yeah, anytime.” Nico replied, following Wills lead and falling on the cot beside him.
The two sat, a moment of shared silence between them. Will scootched closer to Nico, their legs brushing together as they hung off the edge of the mattress. Nico could feel Wills gaze burning into his cheek and reluctantly turned to meet his eyes.
“Hi,” Will said, his voice no more than a whisper.
“Hi,” Nico replied, “Why are you whispering?”
“Because.”
“That’s very specific and helpful.”
“You’re welcome,” Will eyes seemed to be tracing every detail of Nico’s face, his lips tugging into the softest most relaxed smile Nico had ever seen. Will readjusted his head, shifting it closer to Nico’s, their faces just inches apart, Nico could almost feel his breath if he focused hard enough.
Despite every instinct in his body screaming at him to look away, Nico held his gaze on the boy next to him. He found it more and more difficult to get a sufficient amount of air into his lungs or feel anything other than the electricity coursing through his veins and the overwhelming thumping of his heart in every major arteries.
“We’re really close,” Nico blurted out, still uselessly whispering.
“Yeah,” Will held for a beat, looking intently at Nico, “I got lonely,”
“You’re laying next to me,”
“And I still feel too far away.”
Nico’s stomach tensed, his throat tightened, palms sweat, breathing more uneven and shallow than before. This couldn’t be happening right now, every muscle in his body felt as if it was set on fire by the sun itself. In this case, the son of the sun.
Nico could not muster another response, just kept his eyes locked with Wills.
“Is it working?” Will asked finally, in a breathy whisper that made Nico want to make decisions that could ruin his entire life.
Nico blinked, “What?”
“My charm. Is it working yet?”
Nico shot up, groaning, “Shut up, Solace, actually fuck you,”
“Is that an offer?”
“~NO!”

That's a Kill Part 3 || Jake "Hangman" Seresin
Summary: Y/N Kazansky. The Admiral's daughter. You always had to prove yourself to the boys. The good old boys. You never thought much of any of them, knowing you were better than them. That was until you were called back to Top Gun. You meet Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin who drives you nuts, the first day. You start to fall for the man in front of you as he does the same. Jake meets the family!
A/N: Final part (I think)! I legit had so much fun writing this mini-series. It definitely helped as a writer! Please send in any requests! Hope you enjoy! Also - pretending Ice is completely okay - no cancer
Pairing: Jake “Hangman” Seresin x Y/N, Iceman x Daughter!Reader
Word Count: 5,200+
Tumblr media
“Dad, please promise me you’ll be nice.” You stifled a groan as you talked to your dad over the phone.
Long story short. Mav caught you and Jake in a compromising position in the men’s locker room at Top Gun. Jake was called in to consult on a mission. You were both rather excited you’d be working together again, even if it was just for a week.
The two of you had been dating for the last six months. You finally gained the courage to tell your parents after Mav caught you. Mav found you with Jake on top of you getting ready to rip your flight suit off, you begged Mav not to tell Iceman. It was something you had to tell your dad, you and only you.
“I can’t promise anything Y/N.” Dad sounded not so thrilled.
You finally told your dad and family about Jake after Mav gave you an ultimatum. Either you needed to tell Ice within the next few weeks, or he would. You weren’t too surprised when you saw the look of horror cross your dads face when you told him. Tom knew it was a matter of time before you got involved with somebody, but it seemed to come out of left field. There was no warning, you just dropped the bomb on him.
If you thought dad was protective before… he kicked it up a notch after telling him about Lieutenant Jake Seresin. He reviewed all of Jake’s papers, scavenging through them to make sure there was nothing in his file. He asked you about a million questions in regard to him only stopping after you snapped at him. He was concerned, worried that his baby girl could get hurt.
“Dad!” This time you let the groan out, “Please promise me you will try. I really like him.” You admitted, not being the best at coming clean with your feelings. Especially when coming clean meant to your own father.
“Oh,” He paused, “You really like him? That changes things.” He spoke with a dry sarcasm dripping from his voice.
“Please.” You begged, sounding almost desperate.
You could hear him doing something in the background, stopping when you spoke last, “You really like him hmm?” He asked curiously. You seemingly finally broke through to him.
“Yes dad. I really like him. I even love…”
“Nope, stop right there. You can’t say that before I meet the damn kid.” He grumbled as he realized how serious you were about Jake. He didn’t know just how happy had made you over the last six months. Each and every time you saw him you swear you fell more and more in love with him.
“Dad! You can’t go into dinner with that attitude.”
“I’ll go into it however I want.”
You let a sigh out you had been holding in thinking you actually got somewhere with the man, “Dad, I’m 27 years old and this is my first legit boyfriend. Please, please I’m begging you, don’t run him out the door the second you meet him. You and mom were married and had already had Will at this point in your lives.”
He sensed the desperation in your voice and the point you were making, “Alright Y/N, I’ll be on my best behavior.” It was hard for him. His little girl was growing up. He knew you were right though. He had gotten married at 25 and had a kid by the time he was 27. You were here potentially just starting your life. He wanted to laugh knowing it was easier to let you go on that damn mission than it was to know you fell in love with someone.
“Thank you, dad.” You smiled as he finally agreed to your request, “He reminds me of you.”
“Now, wait a damn minute…”
“In a good way dad!” You interrupted him continuing before he could, “He’s one of the best aviators I’ve been around, he makes me better every time we’re in the air. You’d appreciate it, dad. He’s also so sweet to me but such an asshole in the field… reminds me of a certain guy I know.” You grinned realizing how much the two were like. Eerily similar.
Ice smiled hearing your rattle off your favorite qualities of your boyfriend, “He sounds fine.” Tom couldn’t admit it just yet, but you seemed happy with Jake. Genuinely happy. Ice noticed the way you gushed when you talked about him, it was the same way your mom swooned over him.
You laughed hearing your father try and accept it, “He is daddio. So nice. I think you’ll like him.”
“Don’t hold your breath.”
Shaking your head you continued, “As long as you try. That’s all I’m asking.”
“Then that’s what you’ll get.”
You suppressed the squeal you wanted to give him knowing it’d just irritate him, “Thank you dad!”
“Of course, sweetheart. Now, when can we expect you two?” He paced back and forth feeling slightly anxious at the prospect of you bringing a man into his home.
“Six still work? Jake gets off around four today.”
“That works.”
Doing a mini happy dance you replied to him, “Perfect. Can’t wait. See you tonight! Love you.”
“Love you too Y/N.”
Hanging up the phone you realized what you just gotten yourself into. You were bringing Jake Seresin to the admiral’s house. Your own fathers home. This was the final stamp of approval from the people you love in your life, your mom and dad. Mav was floored but thrilled when he caught you two. Phoenix couldn’t get enough of it. Although she never really believed you when you would tell her how loving Jake really was. Bradley was confused but happy for the pair. You just had to introduce him to your family now, no pressure or anything.
Walking through your apartment door you settled on the couch after a long day of flying. These Top Gun pilots were putting you through the ringer. You could never let your mask slip at work, you always had to be on at work. So, these moments where you could just sit and not think? Heaven.
You were pulled from your thoughts when the front door clicked open revealing your handsome boyfriend, “Hi.”
“Hello gorgeous girl.” He walked over to you throwing his head in your lap, legs sprawled out along the couch, “Rough day?” He asked as you absentmindedly played with his hair.
“Yeah, I have to deal with twenty Jake Seresin’s all day. Cocky arrogant aviator assholes.” You replied earning a hearty grin from Jake. You swore you’d never grow tired of those dimples. You couldn’t believe just how lucky you were to have him.
“They sound incredible.” He smiled even further if that was possible.
Rolling your eyes, you tried to lightly shove him off of you. He didn’t budge, “We’ve got to get ready for dinner.” You said as you tried to get him to move.
His smile dropped almost instantaneously, “With your dad?”
“And mom!”
Jake clicked his tongue attempting to play dumb with you, “Did I agree to that?”
Nodding you wrapped your arms around him, “You did, yesterday.” You bopped him on the nose earning a groan from the man.
“Are you sure?” He asked rolling his face into your thigh, hiding away.
“Mhmm.” You grinned down at him adoring how comfortable he was with you. You learned quickly that Jake was a physical touch kind of guy. If he wasn’t holding your hand, he had an arm around you should or on you back. It was an adjustment for you, but you’ve grown to love it, craving his touch, “Is that okay?”
“I guess.” He said softly while rolling back over to look up at you, “You’re so pretty.”
“And you’re changing the subject.” A light flush showed on your cheeks. Even after six months with him the simplest compliments still sent your heart into a frenzy.
He brushed his thumb over your cheek, “I like making you blush.” You could’ve melted right then and there with the look he was giving you. You knew how in love he was with you as his eyes gave him right away. He looked at you with the most admiration you’ve ever seen, like you were his world.
“You’re very good at it.” Giggling you too looked at him with the most admiration. You were officially a sucker for Jake Seresin.
It was scary at first, falling for him. He made it so easy for you. Truly, he was the perfect gentleman. You never opened your door, never pumped gas, always had a fresh set of flowers and were constantly showered in compliments. It was downright impossible not to fall for him as fast as you did. How could you not?
“I love you.” He said as he shifted off your lap but still sitting right next to you, “So much.” He took his hand, gently wrapping it around the back of your head pulling you closer to him. He wanted a kiss, and you’d happily oblige.
You really did live for these moments with him. These sweet romantic moments that happened in the comfort of your own homes. You and Jake technically still had separate places of residence, but he was at your apartment almost every day and night. He initially claimed it was closer to work (it was not) but you’d never say anything, you loved having him around.
“And I love you, so much.” You spoke after parting from the kiss. Resting your head on his forehead you continued, “You know who else will love you?”
He snuck in another quick kiss before replying, “Who?”
“My father.”
You felt the breath of air he let out, “I don’t know about that one sweetheart.” He sat back in his seat thinking all too hard.
“What’s got you worried?” You turned his head to look at you.
“Well for one you’re his daughter, his pride and joy. And two he is the Admiral of the Pacific Fleet.”
Nodding you snuggled into him this time, “He’s just dad.”
Jake chuckled, “He’s your dad darling.”
“Don’t worry, I already buttered him up.”
“Okay,” He kissed your forehead, “If you think it’s time to meet the parents then let’s do it.”
Grinning you threw yourself on top of him squeezing him into a hug, “Thank you Jake.” Whispering into his ear you felt a small shiver in response from him.
“Anything for you baby.” He squeezed you back, “I need to go shower again.”
You ignored him only holding him tighter not wanting to let go just yet. He continued, “If you don’t get up, you’re just coming with me.”
“Is that a promise?”
“Oh sweetheart, I’d never lie to you.” Smirking he lifted you effortlessly with him off the couch. You wrapped your legs around his torso. You felt him laughing as you kept your head tucked in his shoulder, “To the shower we go.”
Tumblr media
You squeezed his hand lightly when you made it to the front door of your parents’ home, “You ready?” You asked him, wanting to make sure he was okay.
“As I’ll ever be.”
You rang the doorbell feeling weirdly calm knowing your mom would likely answer. She did. She always did.
“Y/N!” She wrapped you up in the biggest mom hug, “It’s so good to see you.”
“Hi mom.” You hugged her back with just as much vigor. You felt so blessed to have two loving parents that actually still loved each other.
She turned eyeing your boyfriend up and down sending you a nod of approval, “And you must be Jake.”
“Yes ma’am.” He nodded his head towards her, “It’s a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Kazansky.”
“Oh, call me Sarah.” She patted his arm before opening the door for you two, “Dad is in his office, he’ll be out shortly. Make yourself at home Jake.” She smiled at him before heading back into the kitchen.
You grabbed his hand, “Not so bad.”
“Yet.” He chuckled softly, “Your mom is lovely darling.”
“I agree, let’s go see if she needs any help.” You pulled him into the kitchen watching your mom chop some vegetables up for the salad.
Jake spoke up before you could, “This is a beautiful home, Sarah.”
“Thank you, Jake,” She smiled as she continued chopping, “The Navy does have its benefits.”
“That it does indeed.” He concurred with her. You didn’t try and stop the smile seeing the two of them converse. It seemed so normal. So domestic, “Need any help?”
“Oh no Jake.” She turned to you, “Y/N, show him around. Dad will be out shortly.”
You nodded grabbing his hand again, “Follow me!”
The two of you ended up in your childhood bedroom. Your mom wouldn’t let dad change it at all so Jake was seeing your true childhood bedroom in all its glory, purple walls and all. He plopped down on your bed taking in the surroundings, “This is cute.” He smirked.
“Don’t even start Lieutenant.” You eyed him giving him a playful glare.
Throwing his hands up in mock defense he stood up and wrapped you in hug, “Sorry sweetheart.”
“Suck up.” You hugged him back, “C’mon, let’s go. You’ve got to meet my dad.”
Lazily smiling he nodded, “Your wish is my command darling.” He let you pull him back throughout the house only pausing at the kitchen entryway spotting your dad next to his wife. Gulping he took another small step forward standing just behind you.
“Hello sir.” He gave dad a curt nod unsure of what to do next.
You gave dad a look, one that told him to play nice.
“Hangman. How’d you get that call sign?” Your dad eyed him harshly, something he usually only reserved for when he was angry. You shot him a wide-eyed look trying to diffuse the tension your father unnecessarily added. Straight to the questions. You shouldn’t have expected anything less.
You had never seen Jake so nervous before, Ice was quite an intimidating man. You squeezed his arm urging him to respond, “Well sir I…” He stuttered eliciting another squeeze from you, “I suggested playing hangman as an icebreaker when the squadron first met… sir.”
Tom narrowed his gaze, “That’s it.”
Nodding quickly, Jake smiled softly, “That’s it.” You could feel a small amount of tension release from him. So far, not so bad you thought.
“So, dad.” You tried your best to change the conversation, “Anything coming down the line? Any secret missions?”
Your dad huffed, “None that I can tell you about.” He finally broke the stare down on Jake. His demeanor changed as he turned to you. His gaze softened as he returned to dad, not the admiral, “Come here, give your old man a hug.”
Walking over to him, you gave him a tight squeeze, “Be nice.” You whispered to him, only your mom hearing.
He pinched your arm lightly letting you know he got the message, “Good to see you kid.”
“Likewise.” You punched his shoulder before returning back to Jake. Noticing how tense he was you smiled brightly at him, settling yourself in front of him again.
“Jake,” Your mom chimed in sensing the slight tension in the room, “Y/N tells us you’re a pilot as well?”
“Yes ma’am.” His southern drawl comes through ever so slightly making you weak at the knees, “Strike Fighter Squadron 151, the Vigilantes. Although, I do miss being a part of the dagger squad.” He smiled down at you softly almost forgetting your parents were right there.
“I heard all about it.” Your mom laughed recalling the yelling match between you and Ice. He was obviously furious when you got back from the mission even going so far as to threaten to ground you, air wise. You almost let him get the better of you, but you forced him to understand your reasoning. He understood why you went back to help Mav, but he didn’t agree with it. Of course, he loved Maverick, but you were his daughter he’d always pick you over him.
“Jake saved our asses.” Reaching behind you, you found one of his hands. You ran your fingers up and down the back of it hoping it brought him comfort.
“Shouldn’t have been in the situation to begin with.” Ice grumbled taking a seat at the table.
Shaking your head you replied, “We’ve already gotten into this dad. No need to bring it up again.” Sitting down across from him you sent him a look of irritation.
Your dad shot you a small smile knowing how badly you wanted this to go well. You motioned for Jake to come join you at the table.
Ice turned his attention to your boyfriend, “Hangman. What are your intentions with my daughter?”
“Dad!” You placed your hand on Jake’s thigh knowing it’d help, even just a bit.
He shrugged, “It’s a question Y/N.”
Jake leaned forward looking confident once again, “Sir, would you like the honest truth or the one I’m supposed to tell you?”
Your dad eyed him curiously, “The truth.” Mom made her way over sitting down next to her husband.
Jake smiled at her before turning back to Ice, “I intend to marry your daughter, sir.”
Your head snapped in Jake’s direction giving him a bewildered look. You hadn’t spoken about marriage with him. That topic was so far off your mind it didn’t even seem conceivable, yet. Your mom looked over the moon for just having met him. Ice nodded his head slowly observing Jake not expecting that answer.
Jake smiled down at you fondly seeing your shocked expression. He wrapped an arm around your shoulder pulling you into him, “Sir. I know you don’t want to hear this. But I’m so in love with your daughter. I would do anything for her. She’s made me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. And my momma always told me you never let a good thing go. Y/N here… she’s the best thing. The best thing that’s ever happened to me. I have every intention on settling down, marrying, and starting a family with your daughter. If she’s okay with that.” Thankful that Jake was holding onto you, you looked up at him seeing that he was nodding at you. Confirming what he said. He had every intention of making you his wife.
You were convinced your heart might just beat right out of your chest. You were wholly not prepared for Jake to lay it down like that. To put his intentions out there in front of your mom and dad.  Sure, the two of you talked about the future but for Jake to put it all out there like that? With such certainty? So much was going through your head you hardly heard you dad start speaking again.
Ice leaned back in his chair, your mom watching him expectantly, “Well Lieutenant. You seem to have the right intentions. I just need you to show me now.”
“Absolutely sir.” Jake beamed as he grew in confidence gaining a little respect from the Naval Admiral. Jake looked up to your father. Admitting what he just had to him was no easy task, but he needed to. Jake needed Ice to know just how much he adored you
You still hadn’t managed to find the right words to continue the conversation with the three of them. He wanted to marry you? He wanted to make you his wife? He wanted to have kids with you? You can’t imagine what you’ve done so right in your life to deserve the love you got from Jake, but you were so beyond thankful you had it.
“Isn’t that right Y/N?” Your mom asked.
“Oh sorry, what was that mom?”
She grinned seeing the realization of what Jake had said to your father come across your face, “I was just saying you seem happy.”
“I’m happy.” You broke eye contact with mom opting to look back up at Jake, “Very happy.”
“Let’s eat.” Your dad interrupted the moment, clearly uncomfortable with all of the emotions flying around.
Throughout dinner you saw that both your father and Jake seemed to relax a bit as casual conversation flowed, rather easily. The steak your mom made being a hot topic of discussion. Your fathers looks softened substantially throughout the meal. He even cracked a few jokes with Jake, joking with him about his call sign. Your dad definitely assumed the worst when he heard it.
After another bottle of wine split between the group the laughter started. A permanent rose shade graced your cheeks after your third bottle. Before you knew it the two couples had sat there talking, eating, and drinking for two hours. You thought the dinner would go okay. But this was more than you could have wished for. Your dad had warmed up to him quicker than anyone you had seen before.
“Jake.” Your dad smiled over to him. You grinned watching the interaction between them beyond thrilled dad had used his first name.
“Yeah?”
He leaned forward after setting his napkin on the plate, “Nightcap in my office?”
Jake nodded, “Absolutely.”
You were smiling so hard your cheeks started burning. You gave his thigh a squeeze before he stood up, following your dad away from the kitchen. He shot you a wink before he left fully.
You and your mom cleaned up before settling in the living room, “You didn’t tell me it was this serious Y/N.” The smile on her face was something to see. You could tell how excited she was. She had wanted you to get out there and live a life outside of the Navy, which included dating. It was never a priority for you and your mom knew that. But after hearing what Jake had to say and seeing how he dotingly looked down at you she knew Jake was special.
You turned to her grinning from ear to ear, “He’s never said that before. I don’t think I realized how serious it was.” You admitted to her.
“He’s in love with you Y/N. Very much in love with you. Anybody can see it, even your father. I didn’t tell you this, but he approves so far. Jake’s little speech made quite the impression.”
Eyes wide you continued looking at her, “Really?”
She nodded her head, “Dad just wants the best for you sweetie. For you to be happy. You glow when you’re around him. He seems to be what’s best for you.”
You scooted closer to her on the couch laying your head on her shoulder, “I love him so much mom. He’s so good to me. He treats me better than anybody has. I just… I love him.”
She smiled softly brushing a strand of hair out of your face, “I’m so happy for you. It’s quite the feeling, isn’t it?”
“It’s the best feeling in the world.” You agreed with her.
The two of you continued to chat for the next thirty minutes or so before Jake and dad returned from his office. The two of them had smiles on their faces as they joined you and mom in the living room. You couldn’t describe the feeling seeing your dad smile at your boyfriend like that, like he was already part of the family.
“Ready to go home sweetheart?” Jake asked still standing, “Early morning at Top Gun.”
You nodded kissing your mom on the cheek. You gave your dad a big hug whispering, “Thank you dad.” In his ear before releasing him from your grip.
“Anytime. I’ll call you tomorrow.” You dad kissed you on the head before giving a brief nod to Jake.
“Jake, it was nice to meet you. Keep making my daughter happy.” Dad stuck his hand out for Jake to take.
Jake shook his hand with a newly found confidence, “I have no other plans, sir.”
The ride home was filled with comfortable silence. The night shifted into one you could’ve only dreamed of with Jake laying his heart on the line like that. You know your dad was impressed. The way he began to smile more throughout the dinner and asked Jake genuine questions made your heart soar. The two most important men in your life met each other and got off to a really good start.
Holding his hand you turned to him, “Dad likes you.”
He didn’t take his eyes off the road but ran his thumb along your finger, “You think?”
“I know. He stopped treating you like a Lieutenant and started treating you like Jake, my handsome hunky Naval aviator boyfriend.”
He laughed at your response, never failing to love your personality, “Well that’s good.”
“It’s more than good!”
You saw the tension release from his body, “I was so nervous.”
“I know.” You leaned down to kiss his knuckles, “But you did so good baby.”
Squeezing your hand he replied, “And your mom?”
“She loved you the second you stepped foot into the house.”
He didn’t hide his beaming smile as he continued to look ahead on the road, never daring to take his eyes off the road when you were a passenger, “They’re great people.”
“They really are. I’m the luckiest girl in the world. I get to have them, and I get to love you. I don’t need anything else.” You didn’t want to ask him what they talked about back in your dad’s office, maybe another time. You were riding out a high nothing could vanquish.
Jake felt his heart rate pick up at your vulnerability. Truth be told he wasn’t planning on his little monologue earlier but when he had Ice’s eyes on him like that he had to. He had to express just how important you were to him. He knew very early on in the relationship that you’d be the one he was going to marry. Jake’s grandma gave him a ring after divulging all the details to the family. He was planning on getting it refurbished once he knew what style of ring you liked.
He wasn’t planning on proposing to you anytime soon but after tonight? All bets were off. Practically, he knew he needed to wait another six months for the optics of it all. It wouldn’t look good proposing to you only six months in, but did he want to. He would wait because he didn’t want to make you uncomfortable. But if you wanted to get married tomorrow at the courthouse, he’d be all in.
You two were well out of the honeymoon phase and only seemed to grow closer with each passing day. Your love grew and then grew some more. You wanted to be around him all the time, touching him some way all the time.
“You’re the sweetest girl I know.” He brought your hand to his lips, kissing it softly, “I have everything I need too. You’re it Y/N.”
He pulled into your driveway shutting the car off. Quickly hopping out to get the door for you. Hand in hand the two of you walked inside not being able to take your eyes off each other.
“You really want to marry me?” You asked him feeling all sorts of emotions. You needed to ask him, to make sure what he confessed was true. You knew it was true, but you desired to hear it.
He closed the minimal distance between you two, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead, “I want to marry you sweetheart. So, fucking bad.”
“And start a family?” Your head was swimming in all the thoughts you had. Jake was a straight shooter. He didn’t have anything to hide from you anymore. This is what he wanted, and he needed you to know it, desperately hoping you felt the same.
He nodded placing a kiss on your cheek, hands on your shoulders, “I’d love to have kids with you Y/N. As many as you want.”
“Really?” Feeling your legs beginning to tremble you leaned into him for some stability. Of course, the two of you expressed just how much you loved one another. But this? This was a life changing conversation. This, quite literally, left you weak at the knees. There’s nothing more that you could’ve asked for.
He placed a gentle kiss on your other cheek, “Yes sweetheart. I want to do everything with you. I want to build a life with you.”
“How many kids do you want?” You questioned again all of this starting to feel like too much. In the best way, of course.
Grinning he placed a kiss on your nose, “I think three is a good number.”
“Three kids.” You bit your lip taking it all in. It was easy to imagine a future with him. Three little blond-haired babies running around sounded like a dream. Three of him.
“Three of you.” He smiled placing a kiss right on your lips.
“And you.” You kissed him back as you ran your hands up his neck to his hair, deepening the kiss as you pulled him closer. He let a soft groan out. You knew what you were doing. Jake was a sucker for your hands in his hair.
“You’re killing me darling.” He whispered right in your ear. Jake also knew what he was doing. For as much as you knew about him, he probably knew double that about you.
Smiling you batted your eyelashes just how he liked. You knew Jake through and through knowing what set him off, “I’d love to have three babies with you Lieutenant.” You continued to run your hands across his hair eliciting another moan from the man.
“Yeah?” He asked as he pulled your waist into his body.
“Hell yeah Jake.” You whispered into his ear feeling just how excited he was, bodies sandwiched together.
“What do you say then Kazansky, should we practice making some babies?”
Nodding your head eagerly you replied, “That sounds very enticing Seresin.” You leaned up to kiss him again.
Smirking he kissed you back right before he picked you up, “Hey!” You laughed clinging to him like you had previously in the day.
“I can’t have my sweet girl walk all the way to the bedroom, now can I?”
Giggling and shaking your head it hit you how damn happy you were. How lucky you were to find Jake when you did. From the outside looking in people might’ve thought you two were moving too fast, but it felt so right to you. You had never been so sure of anything, other than becoming a pilot, when it came to loving Jake. He made you feel like the absolute luckiest girl in the world.
“I love you, Jake.” Kissing his neck, you loved to see how he reacted to your touch. You always managed to get a shiver or chill out of him.
“And I love you. Let me show you just how much I do.” Smirking, he winked down at you hightailing it for your room.

Copacabana - Tony Stark
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary ➣ A letter to Tony Stark, 16 years after his death. Pairing ➣ Tony Stark x Widowed! Reader Word Count ➣ 681
Tumblr media
October 17, 2039.
Dear Tony,
It’s been 16 years since you left this world, October 17, 2023, 16 long years.
It's surreal to think that it's been this long. At times, it feels as if we're still the teenagers who first fell head-over-heels for each other, dreaming of a future without any obstacles in our way.
The memory of our first kiss still lingers, like a cool breeze on a warm autumn day, in the midst of an October rain, our clothes soaked and sticking to our skin. Young and reckless, having just graduated from MIT with bright futures ahead of us. But in that moment, all that mattered was the taste of your lips, the warmth of your body pressed against mine. The world faded away as we stood there in the rain, lost in each other's embrace.
I watched as you slowly rebuilt Stark Industries after the passing of your father. We had just eloped to California, swept away by our passionate love, keen for a fresh start. But money had changed you. I tried to understand the pressure of carrying millions on your shoulders, but it became harder to reconcile with who you were becoming. Yet, despite it all, my love for you never wavered.
I remember when you were captured in Afghanistan. Those 3 bitter months, I didn’t know if you would return or not. Then you came back, and in your chest was embedded an arc reactor, a false, mechanical pump; keeping you alive, but deep down, I knew you still had a heart. You changed so much after that, like you lost a part of yourself in that cave.
Then the world crashed upon us—aliens, Avengers, and everything in between.
The moments in between felt like a hazy blur, my mind struggling to hold onto the images as they slipped through my fingers like sand. I remembered catching glimpses of you on the news, especially in your impenetrable armour, well. We thought it was, but that fateful day on Titan proved otherwise.
And it hasn’t been the same since.
Morgan, our little girl. She’s just been accepted into MIT, just like you’ve always dreamed of. In a few years, she’ll be getting her PhD in electrical engineering, just like her father did; hopefully, she’ll inherit Stark Industries and continue on our legacy. As proud as I am, it's bittersweet, to see her follow in your footsteps. I know you would have been so proud of her. But at the same time, it brings up all the painful emotions of losing you and wondering how different things would be if you were still here.
Morgan misses you a lot, she really does.
On rainy days, we’d sit outside the cabin. As rain splattered against the wooden porch, Morgan would curl next to me, tucking her small hand into mine. She would turn to me with big, curious eyes; "Tell me about Dad," she said, wanting to know more about the man she never got to meet, and I would weave fantastical tales of his bravery, how he fearlessly battled against evil to protect us, but deep down, I knew that he had been just as scared and uncertain as the rest of us, scared that he would lose us.
The humidity feels nice, we seek solace these days, finding comfort in the melancholy beauty that accompanies them. But my heart aches as I think about how much you loved these moments, we used to sit by the lake, talking about how we’d get older in each other's arms, yet you're no longer here to join us.
Occasionally, we’d still leave a cheeseburger out for you, hoping that somehow you can still taste it in another world. It's a silly habit, but it's all we have left to cling to your memory. We know you're no longer here with us, but our hearts refuse to accept it. It's our way of holding onto you, even though we know you're gone.
We miss you, Tony, and I hope I’ll get to see you again.
I love you 3000.

Ollie and Wicky eloped.
Everyone feels offended and they think maybe the others got invited but the truth was nobody did.
They eloped winter break junior year, but everyone thinks they got married after graduating.
Until Bitty is stressing out planning his and Jack's wedding and Ollie is like "this is why we eloped junior year" and Bitty freezes and stares at him.
"Junior year?"
"yeah. My student visa was expiring for the year and we had plans to get married anyways, so Pace' suggested eloping earlier than planned so I could get a green card. Fuck, Tango was literally the only one there as our witness and to tell immigration "yeah they genuinely love each other, it's kinda gross how in love they are with the PDAs" so. We never had a real ceremony, just did paperwork for it. It helped that we were broke college students who had been dating since our freshman year."
Bitty is floored.
He texts the others asking if they knew.
They are all HORRIFIED to know they've been thinking the worst of Ollie and Wicky when the only person who went was the freshman that was the honest and genuine tadpole that Wicky pretty much adopted, and probably because there was no way immigration would not believe the kid.
Bitty hesitantly asks if they'd want a ceremony, and Ollie shrugs.
"it's not a big deal to me overall. I think it'd be nice, but I don't need one. I think Pacer would like it though, but his family is also kinda fucked up so I don't know for sure how he'd feel about it. I've offered though. He said no."
Bitty asks Tango.
"He and his cousin planned their weddings when they were eight, Bitty. He wants a ceremony. He doesn't need one, he knows that, but he wants one, he just doesn't want Ollie to think it's something he needs to do to like, prove they love each other or something. It's from the fucked up childhood. His mom was kinda stupid. Said weddings were proof that they love each other. So Wicky says no when Ollie offers 'cause he remembers that and doesn't want Ollie to feel like he has to do it as proof, because he already knows Ollie loves him. It's stupid. People are stupid. Why are people so stupid?"
"Good Lord, that's the million dollar question, Tango."
And so he talks things out with Tango.
Tango gets in touch with Wicky's cousin.
She gives him the old baby wedding planner they did as kids, and the one Wicky had started when he and Ollie first made plans to get married after graduation (the baby one was for cute little laughs at what 8 year old Wicky wanted, it wasn't actually what Tango asked her for. Nobody is complaining).
She sits Ollie down. Tells him what their moms told them as kids, and that Wicky will never tell him he wants a ceremony because of it, and especially since they're already married.
So Ollie has to finish planning things. They can have the ceremony on the day they actually got married ("Make it romantic! He'll love it!") And it can be in their backyard, even ("where doesn't matter, so long as the people you both care about are there!").
SMH is invited, that much is clear.
Bitty is Ollie's best man, Tango is Wicky's, because Ollie knows Wicky wouldn't want anyone else there unless it's Johnson (which is true).
But Johnson is allowed to wed people legally, they have no idea why, but he can, and Ollie knows Wicky would LOVE that.
The ceremony really is in the backyard, and it's covered in snow, and Wicky comes home from work to their friends and families over and holy shit Ollie did all of this?!
And his dad just grins, gives him the suit he got married in, and his own father got married in, and his father had married in, and Wicky is crying by the time he's standing with Ollie at the end of the aisle, with Tango as his best man, and Johnson is the one marrying them.
He whispers thank you before Johnson starts talking.
It's absolutely everything he could have wanted for their wedding.
