Kusuo tends to look over at Aren for reassurance when he’s nervous, b/c he knows he’s a safe constant, one he can rely on to not bail on him for his ‘weird quirks.’ Aren does the exact same thing, except his is ensuring he has an ally to guard his back

Aren likes seeing Kusuo step outside his comfort zone with his clothing! (And yes, b/c he’s a teenager, he likes seeing Kusuo wear things that show off his legs and the like)

Kusuo takes Aren shopping with him under the guise of wanting to buy clothes for his time as Kuriko. It’s not...a lie...but he’s seen the way Aren sometimes looks at the clothes in the woman’s section

He buys Aren a simple skirt and coaxes him into wearing it. It takes a lot to convince the guy that he wont laugh, but once he does Kusuo is so glad he did b/c Aren just stares in the mirror for a while, swaying his hips and watching the way his skirt moves around his knees

They make each other feel very pretty. Kusuo is insecure about his smile, and Aren is nervous about not always expressing himself as a man. Both of them think the other is crazy for thinking those things about themselves

Kusuo likes to be carried where he can wrap his legs around Aren’s waist and sling his arms around his neck. He’s okay with be carried in public, but will pretend to be grumpy and pout about it

Aren will only let himself be carried when they’re alone. He likes the princess carry, b/c all he has to do is let himself be supported. It’s one of the few things that can turn him into a flustered, shy mess

Kusuo loves watching Aren work on his bike, work out, or perform literally any type of manual labor, for reasons you can probably guess

Aren notices this and often teases him by flexing or stretching. Kusuo knows he’s been caught and turns bright red

Kusuo steals all of his boyfriend’s jackets. Aren has to negotiate for them back when it gets chilly

The way Kusuo gets most of the jackets is that Aren will put them down for 2 seconds, he’ll come back, and Kusuo is curled up in it. He doesn’t have the heart to take it back, b/c Kusuo is so cute

Aren thinks Kusuo is the cutest thing ever, and takes pains to inform him as often as possible

Matsuzaki ships them. That’s it, that’s the headcanon

Kusuo gifts him a stuffed animal. Aren is fascinated, and he’s even more excited when his dad doesn’t say anything about it b/c it’s from Kusuo

A lot of Kusuo’s gifts are things like fluffy blankets or stuffed animals b/c Aren never got to truly indulge in these comforts 

Aren likes having Kusuo read to him. Kusuo likes having Aren read to him. They flip a coin to decide who reads out-loud 

If it’s Aren, he pulls the “I’m bad at reading” card. Kusuo tells him it’s practice

If it’s Kusuo, he pulls the “I’m bad at speaking” card. Aren tells him it’s practice

Kusuo has a jealous streak a mild wide. He doesn’t actually do anything, he just sits there and glowers at the floor or his desk until Aren comes by to tease him and kiss it better. Kusuo tends to be smug when getting these kisses

Aren bakes Kusuo chocolate for Valentine’s Day. His mom and him try to figure out how to wrap it up nice and pretty

Aren helps Kusuo with the social aspect of school, while Kusuo helps Aren with academics. It works well, especially when the payment is kisses

They love sleeping and napping together. It ensures they’re safe while allowing them to be certain the other is, too

Aren uses all kinds of nicknames: sweet thing, doll, princess, etc. His favorite is brat though

If Aren sits down for too long, Kusuo is there to take a seat on his lap. Aren has to be careful, b/c if Kusuo falls asleep, he has to cancel his plans for an hour b/c he would rather die than wake his boyfriend up

Aren loves driving Kusuo on his motorcycle! It’s one of his favorite things, being done with his favorite boy
