"Careful", you snag the boy's shirt before he can step into the road. The boy's head snaps away from his phone and towards you.

He looks pissed but you watch his face shift into a blank sort of stare.

"Sorry-", you release the grip on his shirt, shifting the carrier on your hip, "you should pay more attention when you're this close to the road."

You offer him a weak smile and he blinks up at you, then turns and scurries across the road, focused back onto his phone. Sighing, you adjust baby carrier and begin walking again.

The walk isn't a horrible one, ten minutes is nothing on the half hour walk it takes you to get to work. It's just a little more difficult with a awkward sized baby carrier.

Typically you'd take the train, but you need to get to the grocery store before it gets dark. The air is already chilly but the forecast calls for snow and the baby doesn't need that.

The store is a little warmer when you step inside and you even manage to snag a buggy.

The store is relatively quiet and you find what you need to...except for the box of baby rice towards the back on a shelf you can't reach.

You groan softly, glancing at the snoozing babe. She loves those...

You stand on your very tiptoes, grabbing at air. Then, a hand reaches up and grabs them. You turn, about to ask them for the box, when the man passes the box to you.

"Here, you looked like you needed help." He holds the box out with one hand, running his fingers through his black hair with the other.

You blink curiously at him, then take the box.

"Thank you so much, hon." You grin, placing the item in your cart and hurrying to check out.

The walk is still cold, despite the sun barely starting to set. You shiver, somehow managing to carry the groceries and the baby carrier at the same time.

About half a mile from your apartment, you bump into a chest. Dropping a few bags and praying the eggs aren't in them.

"Sorry about that", a masculine voice mumbles above you. You tilt your head up to meet the eyes of a boy a little younger than the one who helped you before. He tilts his head, a tuft of white hair hanging in his eyes.

"Would you like some help?" He starts grabbing the dropped bags before you can answer. He makes a gesture for you to lead the way.

"I'm Jason, by the way. We live in the same complex."

You swear you've never seen him before, but maybe that's just you.

That night, groceries put away and a baby snuggled happily against your chest, you lay in bed.

Oblivious to several pairs of eyes watching you and the bickering from the rooftops above.

"Ummi spoke to me today, with the baby!" Damian speaks.

"Yeah, well I helped ma with her groceries!" Jason gives him a playful shove.

"Well, the baby smiled at me!" Dick jabs a thumb at his chest triumphantly.

"All of you hush!" Tim speaks up, crouched next to Duke, eyes focused on a familiar window.

Bruce looms nearby, caught up his daydream where he's the sweater wrapped so tightly around you. Someday.

Someday sooner than you think.

being bruce wayne's controversially young gf is probably such a handful. with all the paparazzi, and new reporters and don't even get me started on that whole batman thing...you'll never forget the time you discovered the batcave in the middle of the night and neither will bruce. you were just sitting at the computers next to Barbara in your silky rope with a frown on your face just ready to yell at him for not telling you.

but that's not what we're here to talk about. we're here to talk about that little munchkin damian.

see at first, he didn't really like you. you were there before him but he still didn't like you very much in all honesty. the other batkids took a liking to you, some quicker than others (dickie) but they still liked you and told damian that you were cool and everything but damian found it disgusting how his father would date someone as young as you.

you were only in your twenties but considering bruce's age being early forties... he thought it was weird. damian was one of many who thought it was horrible until he didn't. you don't exactly know what made him switch but you weren't complaining well...sometimes you were because of his clinginess but you loved him too! damian was attached at your side the moment he started to like you and it was hard to get him away.

you always defended damian especially when he would go back and forth with bruce, which by the way he hated, but it didn't matter the topic because you'd still back him up. "father, school is a waste of time. training is far more important." "yeah! dami is too smart for that."

but don't get him wrong, he still found the age gap horrifying but it was more toward bruce than you now. as time went on, he stopped caring about it but he acted as though he did. damian is just a hater tbh.

anyways, back to him being the clingiest son ever! during galas, you are never seen without the middle schooler at your side either silent or talking to you about something he is passionate about. bruce thinks its cute and plus it makes the public not hate this relationship more but when damian actually needs to do things at the galas, it's pretty annoying for him...

"todd insisted that i play uno with him and the rest of the former robins and it was quite interesting. especially when todd jumped at grayson for cheating." damian ranted in your ear while standing at your side as you sipped at your wine glass carefully listening to him unaware of your boyfriend approaching.

damian noticed before you did and his silence made you confused "damian, you cannot stand next to her all night." bruce said with a sigh and his son only narrowed his eyes at him "why not? i don't find talking to these other wealthy families any sort of intriguing." damian argued while you only smiled brightly at the fact that he found you interesting!

"that doesn't matter, you still have duties."

"well ummi–[y/n]..." damian stuttered clearing his throat in embarrassment as the conversation seemed to go silent. bruce looked at you and you were close to dropping the wine glass because of how happy you seemed so he swiped it from your palm quickly. "...she doesn't seem to mind at all." the boy continued before looking up at you.

you barely registered him looking at you. you were just too happy about him referring to you as his mom!! even if it was just a slip-up. "oh yeah! i don't mind at all and you can call me whatever you want dami! i don't mind that either." you shrugged while rocking back and forth on your heels and damian seemed to be relieved with that but he quickly cleared his throat again and looked at his father with a careless expression.

"well, we'll be going now. grayson is better company than you anyway." damian said grabbing the glass from bruce's hand and grabbing yours with his other before beginning to walk away. you looked back at bruce and silently screamed to show your excitement. i guess he can let it slide this one time...because he was just as happy.

Yan! Batfam x Teacher! Batmom

All platonic besides Bruce

First off, you were Dick’s teacher at Gotham Academy, and the most sympathetic to him. You knew how hard the transition was, especially since he had learned on his feet most of his life, so you decided to have most of your classes on their feet at some point, and offered him help with homework

Dick absolutely adored you. He was suspicious at first, but after a little while he grew way more comfortable. The change from the circus way of life to living in a city permanently and having to go to school was astronomical. You were the only teacher who seemed to realize that and try to help him. You threw a ball around for the class to answer things, played games to help people learn, and comforted/defended him when people looked down on him for his background.

People learned very quickly not to complain about you or your class, otherwise they would have to deal with ‘pranks’ like being doxxed, having their things ending up in trees, and their parents deals falling through.

On the first parent teacher night, Dick dragged Bruce over to you. Bruce had already heard of you from Dick and done his own surface level research on you.

The minute this man met you, he understood why Dick loved you so much. You just gave this aura of light and comfort that no one else could ever measure. You were kind and understanding and sweet.

(Note, Bruce isn’t completely yandere yet. He is starting to be, but I like slow burn. Dick is 100% yandere though.)

Dick threw a major tantrum when he learned he would have to leave your class. He was aggressive and started purposefully failing your class. It got to the point where you called a meeting between you and Bruce and Dick where you talked about everything.

You met with them at the manor, and after a few minutes, you managed to get it out of Dick why he was upset. You quietly told Dick that while you would miss him too, you would be very upset if he stayed back for him.

However, Bruce and Alfred managed a solution. With a few bribes to the school, they started a theatre club that you would run(they did research and knew you liked theatre) and that Dick would be your assistant, and he would still have the option after he graduated.

Everything was back to normal for you, besides the fact that all of your dates never lasted anymore. You couldn’t figure out why?

Then, Jason Todd was enrolled in your class

The first time Batmom took care of her little sleepy Robin's.

Grayson X Batmom

Dick shot his grappling hook above me and swung clutching onto my back. I carried the little nine year old on my back as I walked through the dark alleyway. He rest his arms over my shoulder as I held his legs.

"can we pretty please with a double cherry on top, have cotton candy before bed?" he said with a hopeful tone

I role my eyes shaking my head with a soft smile "you know the rules son, no sugar after ten Rob"

"awww c'mon, you're no fun" he dramatically said with a soft yawn

"I think I remember you telling Batman that, not too long ago"

"I did.. You both are, no fun. I mean you're more fun than B. I'm more fun than B. But you could be more fun like me and yet you choose not to be"

"you mean irresponsible" I replied to my Robin "besides, I'm not letting you get hyped on sugar"

"that hurt, I've been stabbed right through the heart" he jokingly defended "you're as cold as captain cold"

"uh-huh and do you recall what happened the last time you were granted such a request"

"I broke the chandelier in the middle of the night and scared you to death"

"EXACTLY my point"

I continue walking to the boom-tube leading to the Bat-cave. I then feel Grayson lay his head in between my shoulder and neck. He yawns letting his body relax. I make it into the Bat-cave. I see his reflection from the Bat-computer.. His mouth agape nearly drooling, adorably sound asleep.

Jason X Batmom

We both sat in the study enjoying each other's company. With a book in Jason's hands and a book in my own. The thunder grew louder as the rain fell onto Wayne Manor. He had the back of his head rested on my thigh and legs sprawled on the couch. It took time for Jason to warm up to me. Though when he realized my intention was to help him, he really opened up to me.

"why am I here again?" he scoffed with a small crack to his throat.

I shut my book placing it on the arm of the chair "what you don't enjoy me?" I joked I then answer "because you're still sick. LIKE it or NOT. I am letting you run around Gotham with a sore throat and stuffy nose"

"hey but I can pull off Batman's grunt now" Jason mocked Batman's grunt causing me to laugh.

"true but I care more about your health than being able to intimidate Gotham's criminals"

He turns onto his side resting his cheek on my thigh. I gently rub my fingers through his black hair. He yawns shutting his eyes. I take the folded blanket that was resting on the top of the couch. I unfold it and lay it on my sleepy Robin.

"you suck for making me sleepy mom" he said with a dramatic sigh

"sleep well Jaybird"

Tim X Batmom

After a 12 day league mission, I return home entering the Bat-cave. I see little Timmy sitting in my husband's "bat-chair". Timmy had his cheek resting on the desk with his arms sprawled on his knees. I softly hummed, poor little bird boy. I kneel down and nudge his shoulder.

"Timmy.. Timmy bud" I softly laugh "do I need to carry you to bed?"

He swiftly sits upward with wide-open bloodshot eyes "I'm awake! I'm not sl-asleep-y" he adorably said

I lightly shake my head with a soft chuckle, I then gently rub his cheek with my thumb "what day is it?"

"Thursday.. You're home very early.. Hi mooom"

"oh, baby bird let's get you to bed" I softly said with a chuckle

He shakes his head "I neeeeed coffeeeee" he yawns as he shuts his eyes.

"you 'neeeed' sleep" I said with a half smile

He leans on my open palm with shut eyes. He yawns loudly. I lift him into my arms and hold him close.

Damian X Batmom

I go to Titans Tower. I go to the training center. Damian swiftly sliced the holographic Ninja with his sword. His eyes that reflect his father's are swollen from lack of sleep, I know that look too well. He needs sleep. I'm surprised that he's still standing. I see a several drips of sweat now falling down his skin. How long has he been up here? I look at the podium that had a holographic screen.

~time: 35 hours. 37 minutes.

"oh, Robin" I sigh deeply my gut sickened, he's relentless.

He stops staring at me, as the holographic Ninja slices his arm going through. The session then stops. He places his sword in it's own scabbard. He glared to me folded his arm's. We stand within inches of each other.

"Dami, you're not going to be able to be strong, if you're endlessly training with no end"

"tt you are being absurd, this is perfectly normal for me"

"Dami sometimes I wish this wasn't normal for you. You're not supposed to be worried about being so strong" I sincerely tell my son.

"I am no--" he yawns "tt"

"you are skilled in many ways Damian--" he cuts me off

"enough" he growled

"you don't have to prove that to me or yourself.. Or anyone else for that matter"

He sighs heavily, his sigh turning into another deep yawn "tt you no nothing about me"

"I know your dad. I know you are just like him. I just want you to spend a moment for you. No patrol--" his mouth agape in shock with anger "no training.. Just a quiet evening with your lovely animal's. Maybe I can make you some herbal tea?"

"tt" he scoffed "mother" he then groaned in annoyance

I gently cup his little face, I use my thumb to rub his face "I know little bird" I softly said

As Damian shakes his head, he held my wrist with a weak grip. He gently rubbed his eyes. His little legs gently move. I kneel down to his eye level. He surrendered falling onto me instantly relaxing in my embrace. I securely hold him close. I stand and softly hummed a lullaby to him.
