Can we have a parallel in Season 8 where Christopher’s classmate mistakes Buck for his dad and says something like: ‘you have really cool dads.’ And Chris is like ‘I know’ as he watches them fondly? Like when the lady did the same in that Christmas episode to Buck, the whole ‘you two have an adorable son.’
Like Chris is on a school field trip and theres a fire. The 118 and another house are brought in to handle it and when they get there Eddie and Buck can’t find Chris. So they just run in? Like Bobby did with May?
And they carry Chris and his friend out and check them over and they’re both super worried and Hen is like its okay I’ve got this and so they go back to doing their jobs and Chris’ friend is just so in awe of how cool Chris’ dads are???
The trip is cancelled so they call his over and help Chris into the Engine for a lift home and he’s just all smiles sitting between Buck and Eddie cause, yeah, his dads are pretty cool.
Added points if before Chris got on the bus for the school trip he was complaining about Eddie worrying over him and calling his dad embarrassing like the preteen he is.
You look up from your script and to find Jaemin looking back at you nervously. You don’t notice the grip he has on his script, wrinkling the edges carelessly despite the fact that Director Jung wanted you all to keep them neat.
“Um,” you say quietly, “We could skip over that part.” You hurriedly flip to the next page, feeling your heart beat out of your chest.
You don’t notice the saddened expression on Jaemin’s face, like he’s sulking, “What?”
Your brow raises slightly, “We don’t have to have to do it if you don’t want to.” Eyes avoiding his, you pretend to skim through the next page as if you were trying to memorize it.
Jaemin reaches out and pushed the script down gently, “But what if I wanted to?”
the thing about jensen and misha living together is that they cooked meals for each other, did their laundry together, lounged on the couch together, said good night to each other every night and were the first person to say good morning to eachother every morning!!!!!!!!!! And then they went to work and spent their working hours together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Until it was time to go home, together, to their shared apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
growing up is like ew why is everything about love and then you grow up and you’re like i get it i get it i get it every god damn stupid thing really is about love.
Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.
i wish there wasn’t such a stigmatized view on platonically loving people.
I can’t call people nicknames and pet names like hun and honey without them immediately assuming i have romantic interest in them.
i can’t tell my friends i love them without adding on “platonically” or shortening the phrase “ily” “love you” “love u”
i love a lot of people. i love my sister, i love my boyfriend, and i love my best friend. All different versions of love.
let us love people openly and honestly without it being seen as “making a move” or being romantically interested.
please please please stop assuming that love is strictly romantic, i promise you life becomes so much brighter and bigger when you stop keeping love strictly romantic.
