hey i really like your atom amulet & CHOW! post! really well done! i was wonderin if you had any backstory or little details about the concept you'd like to share? now that i've seen them my brain's like "ooo tell me more!!!"

OOH i have a few!! in fact, i actually just made a page for it on my website... i didn't include TOO much additional info, but there's some brief blurbs & a bit of backstory =D including the CHOW! deeplore.

"Sirius get down here now!" Remus called from the bottom of the stairs.

"What! What's wrong?" Sirius called as he rushed down the stairs wanted at the ready. Panic and adrenaline coursing through his body. He had left Remus sitting next to the fire place reading but he hadn't heard him yell like that since the war was active.

Of course, they were still fairly fresh out of the reign of Voldemort and really were struggling each with their own new set of trauma and responses. But that didn't mean Sirius was any less at the ready these days.

He crashed down the stairs right into Remus who had the front door open. "I- I stood up to look outside because I watched all the lights of the street go out and then several people walked up to the front step. They didn't linger, turned around and left. But then I could swear I heard a baby crying and..." Remus explained and when he turned around he was holding Harry in his arms.

"As if Dumbledore couldn't have knocked!" Sirius said a mix of anger and relief as he took his godson out of his husbands arms. "It's okay Haz, Padfoot's got you," Sirius hushed as he rocked Harry back to sleep.

"All this note says is that the Dursley left him outside for the entire day and children's services nearly picked him up so by last possible extension he his now in our care to raise. Oh and that we can't move because Dumbledore set some blood magic wards on the house apparently," Remus squinted as he read the sloped handwriting.

"They left him outside!" Sirius hissed.

Remus just shook his head and crowed Sirius so he could look Harry over. He quickly ran some diagnostic charms but he was okay.

"Let's get him to bed and then we can figure out what to do I guess," Remus said, walking Sirius up the stairs.

Harry always had a room here so it was an easy transition to set him in his crib. Both Remus and Sirius stood and watched him sleep for far too long, making sure he was actually alright before finally tiptoeing out of the room.

"I know that if James and Regulus or Lily and Mary were alive none of this would be happening, but if you think for one second the Dursleys would live to see another day if any of the four of them were..." Sirius vented. Remus didn't have any words but his pursed lips and judgmental eyes agreed with everything Sirius insinuated.

As they got ready for bed, Remus set up the baby monitor. He definitely wouldn't be sleeping tonight, too worried about his nephew, but at least he knew Harry was safe now in their home.

They had lots of things to figure out, like how to make sure they actually get full custody and not just Dumbledore's unexplained decisions for child placement, and if they should actually stay at this home or move and make Dumbledore set up new wards or set up their own. Or if Dumbledore might have an accidental call of the astronomy tower...

Remus took a deep breath as they chatted a bit back and forth. They weren't going to make any real decisions or solve any problems tonight, especially since their conversation was still threaded with anger and bitterness.

But as Sirius lay his head on Remus' chest and Remus wrapped his arm around him, they reminded each other over and over: "we've got him, he's with us, and we aren't going to let anything happen to him."

Back and forth until they fell into a light sleep, "Harry is here, he is safe, he is ours..."

Their fiancee wants to break up after war because she wants to forget everything and thinks that she will experience the same traumas again everytime when she looks in her fiancee's eyes. It's up to you whether the ending will be happy or not. It's not a problem if you are not comfortable with writing this. -First off my baby boy 🥺

-he would be so, so, so sad but understanding at first, he'd just be like "Okay, if that's really what you want ☹️" 

-although, once you explained it to him that he was a reminder of the trauma and horrors of war, he would be reassuring and comforting af

-He'd talk to you about how you and him would get through the unexplainable and horrific things you'd seen in that long multiple-year span together 

-"I'm here to talk and be with you, through thick and thin; no matter what; I love you. Please know that I'll continue loving you until the day I die."

-He wouldn’t admit it but the things he’d seen, the things he’d done scarred him and stuck with him long after the war and he was desperately in need of someone to talk to so him being able to just comfort you was also helping him get through the trauma of war

-Would definitely offer therapy or a person you could tell your deepest, hardest memories and your shoulder to cry on when you reminisced about your friends' deaths

-If he did persuade you to stay, he'd try comforting you a lot more and taking note of everything that could upset you

-When he does notice you upset over things, he goes out of his way to take care of you, such as buying flowers, chocolates, and anything he could

Megumi and Daichi received a mission to exorcise a curse at a host club in Shinjuku with Yuji and Nobara. But their plan will be taken for a crazy turn as Megumi had to endure a great trail involving Daichi's plan. How will this turn out?

Yeah, I'm going to kill him this time.

Megumi thought as he is sitting on the dress all dressed for an occasion. Rather...for the mission. This time, he is really going to kill Daichi for this. And most likely Yuji and Nobara. Never did he think of the dumbest plan in his life in his sorcerer life. It can't be real.

This all started when they had a mission in Shinjuku.

----- Hours earlier -----

"Hold on...a host club?" Yuji blinked. Gojo-sensei nods his head, "Indeed, Itadori. There are unexplained injuries surrounding a host club in Shinjuku and now a person is critically injured. This host club has no connections to a gang or anything criminal-related. All they can mention is a monster scaring them and away from it. If it continues, it will spread and will harm people in the red-light district.

Good news....the host club is shut down temporarily under the 'notice' of repairs. By notice, it means it's time to exorcise the curse.

"So we just go in and find the curse to exorcise?" Yuji asked.

"Yes but there's a problem." Gojo stated.

"A problem?" Megumi asked.

"The curse is hard to find, you see." Gojo sighed.

"Oh! Then we can track it down with Taz's technique." Daichi said.

"I rather not. Even with Taz's nose, this curse is pretty elusive. " Gojo-sensei sighed. "Besides...If we did, we have to explain to her what a host club is. We need to keep our little Taz pure from the dark side of adults!" Gojo pouted.

"I agree with that, Gojo-sensei!" Yuji exclaimed nodding his head. Besides..how are they going to explain what a host club is to her?! Including the red district of Tokyo, Shinjuku. Taz would be curious and would have tons of questions. Good thing, Taz will be here with Yuria and Miko, teaching them instead going of with them.

"Oh come on, a host club isn't that bad. I mean...." Daichi begins. "It's just bottle service!"

"No way! My little sis will not learn about host clubs!" Yuji pokes a finger at Kisho's chest with a frown comedically. "She's too young for that, Kisho!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah! Taz is too young to learn about that! Also, how do you know what a host club is?! A host club is more than that!" Nobara chided him. Daichi had his hands up, giving up, "Okay, Fine! Sorry!"

Megumi sighs, shaking his head. He looks at Gojo. "So when do we start?"

"Tonight!!" Gojo said happily.

After arriving in Shinjuku, the team found the host club named Lovely Dovely but before they entered. Daichi stops them. "Hold on! We need to gather information about the curse."

"Huh? Why?" Nobara asked. Yuji and Megumi wanted to know the reason.

"Didn't Gojo-sensei say that the curse is hard to find and it's elusive?" He asked. "The curse might avoid us if we go inside like this."

"Yeah but what can we ask the people around here? Most are non-sorcerers and have no idea what we're talking about." Nobara points out.

"Agreed. Plus we got the file on it." Megumi said. Daichi shakes his head, "True but a host club shuts down for repairs...people are going to find out and talk you know, especially in a place like this. I say we do some information gathering about the host club or anything that's happened. We might get something."

"But we can't waste time, Daichi." Megumi crossed his arms. "I know, I know. But we might give it a try at least. Maybe a curse has a history and we might find a way to deal with it."

Megumi thinks hard. True. Curses come from negative emotions so it must be something that a curse emerged from something like this. "Okay. But 5 minutes." He said.

"Right!" Daichi said.

"I can help out!" Yuji said. Nobara shrugs. Megumi would wait here for time just in case if he sees something. After five minutes up, the three meet back here and discuss what they heard and talk to.

"Okay! So from our investigation, I have an educated guess."

"A guess?" Nobara asked. Daichi nods. "Yes! This curse must be female or an angry customer."

"Huh. Okay, an angry customer makes sense" Yuji asked. "But why female?

"Think about it. It is only harming the employees, right?" Daichi asked to which Yuji and Nobara nodded while Megumi raised a brow at this, "I talked to people around about it and they told me. So it makes sense it's female or just a jealous boyfriend. Either of the two." Daichi said. "So I went to a hostess club and asked about the Lovely Dovely from a block down. A compeitior."

"So what did they said?" Nobara asked, now curious.

"Well there is one time where a woman walk out crying out of a host club a long time ago. They said it was months back. I heard the woman gave gifts to a guy who thought loved her but you know. The guy working there wants the tips and got greedy."

"That's cold. I can see why a curse emerged from this place" Yuji said. Nobara sighed, shaking her head, "You never get too attached to the people working in these places. Host and hostess clubs are like the modern geisha!"

Then Noabra thinks, "Speaking of which, I talked to the girls and they told me the same thing. I heard she got her heart broken. And there's another girl whose life savings was to get a boyfriend." She said.

"Yeah. Some people say the customer got angry and jumped." Yuji frowns. "They think the place is cursed because the woman cursed them to get revenge on one of the hosts. Heard he got fired though."

Daichi nods. "And I check to see what kind of men does the curse go after. If we know, then we might try to set up a bait."

"So we figure out who would be the next target then we can find the curse and hunt it down!" Yuji said. Daichi nods. "Right."

"But. We can't get civilians caught in the crossfire." Said Megumi. "The last thing we need is a curse putting another person in hospital or worse." He said.

"And that's why one of us should become the bait."

Wait what? The three blinked.

"Think about it, the curse has no idea that she is walking into a trap so we have to take advantage of our looks! If we do that, then the curse will be exorcised."

"Oh! So you guys become the hosts?" Nobara said now understanding the plan, "But who's going to be the host or all of you?! Nobara asked. Daichi snaps his fingers with a finger. "That's the plan! I came up with and to make sure we got this plan in the bag. Let's look for the description of our victims and see if this works!" He pulls out a notepad to which Yuji and Nobara look over his shoulders, looking at his notes.

"Okay so...tall...." Yuji said.

"Dark," Nobara said. "And handsome."

"Has pretty eyes," Yuji said.

"And mysterious..." Nobara said, nodding her head. All of them are nodding their eyes. "Okay...so who got all that." Then the three blink and look at Megumi, slowly realizing something.

"What?"

"Megumi! You will become the host of the club." Daichi points with a smile.

"What?" Megumi narrowed his eyes. Nobara and Yuji became silent.

"You check everything off on this list! Tall, dark, handsome, mysterious, and not to mention your great emerald eyes." Daichi counts off his fingers, "Your glorious appearance can mesmerize any woman into hanging out with you and pay for you! You're the perfect guy! And no way the curse will ignore you if you become the host. It's perfect!"

Noabra and Yuji go 'uhhh....' while Sukuna inside Yuji, now cracking up.

"I don't think that's..." Yuji begins but Megumi cuts him off.

"So....let me straight. You want me to become a host to lure the curse out of hiding based on that investigation?" Megumi said, scowling even more.

"Uh-huh!" Daichi nods. "Great plan, right?!" He grins.

Nobara and Yuji are now sweatdropping. They can feel the anger from Megumi right now. They can see his eye twitching.

Then Megumi nods with a small smile, scaring Nobara and Yuji now. "Sure it is...want to know what I think of that?" He asked. He bonks Daichi on the head with a scowl. "OW!" Daichi yelled.

"What kind of DUMB plan is that?! What the hell, Daichi?!" Megumi makes Daichi cry out, "It's a good plan! Remember when we fought that curse that took the girl-" He receives a slap upside the head.

"We are not MENTIONING that again!" Megumi yelled. "ARE YOU CRAZY?! WHAT IS WRONG WTIH YOU?!"

"But the plan! It worked didn't it?!" Daichi said.

"Every time you plan something, it gets worse and worse! You want me to become a HOST because of your so-called 'educated' guess! To me, it sounds like a dumb guess that you come up on the fly! What makes you think I would agree to it?!"

"Because.....because....it's the best plan?!" Daichi smiles nervously and this Megumi narrows his eyes into silts now. Already, they can feel the anger coming from the shadow sorcerer. Nobara and Yuji take several steps back.

"Think about it, Fushiguro. This curse chooses its victims based on their appearances and has a history with this host club from what we got from the streets." Daichi tries to convince Megumi to see his logic. "Soon...they're going to go over to other clubs to find the next target on similar appearances even if Lovely Dovely gets shut down!"

Megumi grumbled but raised his eyelids a bit. Yuji and Nobara thought Daichi is getting to through him. However...Daichi's next words invalidate his entire logical explanation.

"Besides you're host material! Every girl's dream and fantasy!" Daichi gives his best smile. Nobara and Yuji just choked. Of course, they tried their best not to laugh because they could see Megumi is fuming.

Megumi snapped as he had that wide smile on his face.

"Yeah...he is so dead." Nobara whispered.

"Yep," Yuji said as Eito is on his shoulder giving a worried chirp.

Megumi can't help but laugh loudly this time, it sounds disturbing. To which Yuji and Nobara yell, "Daichi...RUN!!"

And Daichi did for dear life as he was being chased down by an angry Megumi, leaving Yuji, Nobara, and Eito sweatdropped while Sukuna was laughing his ass off. There were screams, shouting, and cursing in the alleys of Shinjuku. But soon, Daichi managed to convince Megumi to try out this plan. However, if it fails, Megumi promises him dearly that he's dead. So the stakes are high for this mission.

"Okay. To get started, we need clothes." Daichi stated. "Nobara. You know the best clothes, right?"

"Huh? I think so but what do I get in return?" Nobara asked with her arms crossed because she didn't want to deal with a grumbling Megumi and wasn't sure if the plan could work.

"I run into a host club down the street and they have trouble in coming in because of the curse. They said that they would give us money and free food if we solve it. Plus, they know the hostess clubs where they can give you the best clothes for a discount and for free." Daichi tells Nobara giving his credit card to her.

That was enough to convince Nobara Kugasaki when he said clothes. The young woman gives him a thumbs up and a grin, "Leave it to me!"

"Yuji! I need your help in dressing Megumi."

"Right!" Yuji nods. Megumi is now annoyed. "Aren't you two too happy about this?!" He questioned his classmates.

"But freebies, Fushiguro!!" Nobara and Yuji said in unison with a pout. Megumi made a face hearing that. Later on, thanks to Nobara's skill as a fashionista and Yuji's help in aiding Megumi to change clothes in a nearby clothing store. Nobara wiped some sweat from her brow as she saw her work. Yuji clasped his hands together seeing Nobara's work. "Wow! Nobara, you made Megumi really good."

Megumi twitched an eye. He wore in a dark blue suit, with a blue flower on his breast pocket and white pants. Underneath his dark suit is white. His hair is brushed, with bangs covering on one side while he still has spiky hair on another side and back.

"I think I did a good job, haven't I?" Nobara asked. Daichi and Yuji nodded as they clapped, "Yep, yep. You did!" Then a mouth forms on Yuji's cheek, "I must say you really look good, Fushiguro Megumi. No doubt, you make the women swoon for you and spend money on you for their time." Said Sukuna with a gleeful smile.

"See?! Even Sukuna thinks you're beautiful!" Daichi smiled. Then Daichi's collar is grabbed and pulled forward by a fuming scary Megumi.

"Remind me to beat you after this," Megumi said, glaring down at a scared Daichi. "You better hope your plan works for your sake, Kisho." He said his real name. Daichi is now sweating bullets and is shaking in his boots.

"Of course, it will work! Trust me!" Daichi laughed with his hands waving, assuring him. Nobara paid for the clothes on Daichi's credit card at the register. With that, Megumi lets go of him and walks on ahead to go back to Lovley Dovely host club.

And the group went back to the host club. The first thing to do is open it up and have Megumi sit in the lounge and wait for the curse to show up.

And that's how Megumi got in this situation, waiting for who knows how long.

I'm going to kill him.

Yeah, I'm going to kill him this time.

Megumi thought, gritting his teeth while sitting on the booth in the lounge, waiting for this curse to show up.

In the other room, the trio looks through the window door.

"Daichi, I don't think the curse is going to show up," Yuji said.

"It will." A few minutes passed. Eito chirps quietly.

"Are you sure that Megumi is the curse's type?" Nobara asked, looking at Daichi. "Yes, the list of victims that the curse attacked the people I talked to told me to have the same hair and build. I even have the host photos on their billboard and the customers and their competition point out which ones got attacked." He shows the photos to them. Yuji and Nobara went 'Oh' and went, "Yeah, yeah, now we see." All of the victims are dark, handsome, and attractive. Megumi is the perfect candidate.

"How exactly did you get them to talk to you?" Nobara asked.

"I told them that we're private investigators." Said Daichi. "It worked really well."

"That makes sense." Yuji said then looked at Megumi who is now tapping on his foot with his arms crossed. "Hope your plan works, Daichi. Because you know.....Megumi is going to let you have it this time." Yuji warns he could see Daichi sweat hearing that.

'And I can't wait to see what sort of punishment he will give out.' Sukuna said in Yuji's mind. Yuji sighs. Then the lights flickered. Everyone became tense. Megumi is now guard as the lights continue to flick. It suddenly went out making the place fall into silence. There is no sound or anything. Even from the outside. Then the light came back on followed by a sound of a bell. A woman has come in. A pretty modest woman. She had brown hair, a cute smile, and wearing modest clothes.

"Hm?" The woman blinked.

Huh? Daichi, Yuji and Nobara watched. Could it be the curse?

"Oh my! You must be the only one here! Is this place closed?" Asked the woman.

What should he do?

"I guess..." Megumi said. "Place is slow today."

"Good job, Fushiguro." Daichi whispered.

"We might close soon." Megumi sighed. Daichi blinked. Wait...what?! No! Don't say that! He thought as Eito chirps, making the flame sorcerer blink.

"Awww...but can you at least make a woman happy. At least listen to my troubles." Asked the woman. Megumi had to look at his friends especially Daichi who gives him the thumbs up. Damnit.

"Yeah sure. What can I do?" He asked. So the woman talked with him, talk about her job, her daily life and other mundane things.

"Jeez...Fushiguro at least like you're interested! He needs to go to class on customer service or how to make a woman happy at least!" Nobara sighed.

"But the plan is working, that's all it matter!" Daichi said.

"Looks like the lady is convinced that Megumi is a host. Man...you're not kidding when you said he's host material." Said Yuji making Daichi chuckle. "Am I ever wrong?" He chuckled.

"A few times." Nobara commented which made Daichi offended.

"Anyway...I come bearing gifts."

"Gifts?" Megumi blinked. The woman nodded happily, "Yes!" She brings out her bag to give a gift to him. "Here!" Daichi, Yuji, and Noabra are watching. This is too sudden.

"Sorry. I can't accept it." Said Megumi with his hand raised. "I'm just doing my job."

"Your job?" The woman blinked.

"Yes, I'm just a host who listened to women and served them, I can't take your gift," Megumi said, trying to be professional. Yeah, he's really going to kill Daichi for this.

"Oh...is that so...." The woman muttered. "Does that mean you do not love me?"

"Like I said...it's just a job." Megumi sighed.

She bit her lip then Megumi blinked to see that her bottom lip began to bleed. "Ma'am?"

"Is that so? Is that so? Is that so?!" The woman's tone shifted to raspy voice.

"!" Megumi looked at the woman as she began to transform. Hair begins to extend and her height grows as her body becomes slim. Her mouth went wider with sharp teeth. "YOU DON'T WANT MY GIFT BECAUSE YOU'RE SICK OF ME?! YOU BROKE MY HEART! YOU CARE ABOUT MONEY, YOU GREEDY SCUM BASTARD!" She lunges at Megumi with her sharp fingers. Megumi cursed and formed a shadow puppet.

A long tongue wrapped around his waist and took him as the curse missed. Slashing the couch in half. The curse hisses and looks towards the boys.

"DO NOT MAKE FUN OF ME!!" The curse roared.

Thanks to his shikigami frog, Megumi is safe and now in battle stance.

"Megumi!" Daichi went over to his side along with Yuji and Nobara. Looks like Daichi's plan did work, much to Megumi's disgruntlement.. It brought forth the curse now. Now it won't stop till she gets revenge.

"Alright...time to do this." Daichi fires off a fireball but the curse evades and is now on the ceiling. She shrieks as it runs over to them from the ceiling. Nobara launched some nails at the curse and all the nails missed because she jumped. Noabara yells, "Hairpin!" The cursed energy from nails strikes the curse's leg.

She shrieked loudly and got angrier. Yuji jumps and goes to deliver a punch downwards, the curse hisses, using its strands of hair to capture Yuji. Daichi helps out by having Eito grab his hoodie with his beak and pull him away from her.

"Thanks, Eito!" Yuji said as he was put down. Eito chirps happily.

"Jeez...what grade is this curse? A grade 2?" Nobara said. The curse's hair is moving like tentacles. She is clawing against the wall with her sharp claws. Her white-out eyes are glaring at the group.

"Hair extension, sharp claws, and speed. This one is tricky." Daichi said. Megumi scoffs and forms a dog with his hand, "Totality." He had Totality go up against the curse. The curse has the agility of a cat and is now at the corner, going to strike her long hair at everyone. The curse and Totality go at each other but the curse's hair slams against the columns and hits the bar. Glass bottles of alcohol are smashed and liquid is spilled everywhere. The room has the smell of sake and other kinds of alcohol. The hair is now covering the room as the curse is getting angrier and angrier. Everyone is trying to avoid the strands as they get on the tables. The hair is growing, wrapping everything around the soon. Soon, they will trap the sorcerers and it's getting difficult.

"Man...this is like the Ju-On: The Grudge!" Daichi uttered. Now the curse has them trapped and it's hard to because right now. He can see Totality trapped as well. Megumi released him back into the shadows so it won't get destroyed.

"Daichi! Can you set it ablaze?!" Megumi said.

"I can..but if I do that. The fire will spread and might cause a problem due to the alcohol being spilled everywhere.." Daichi said. Shit, he should of plan this better.

"Well...we need something or else we get wrapped up!" Nobara said. It's hard to slam a nail at the hair because it will be stopped by the hair. She doesn't have time to use her Straw Doll technique on this. One wrong move and she is out of the fight. Yuji is hanging off the ceiling as the hair is getting close to him. Daichi tries to think.

"I think I have one. But it's a gamble!" He said. The three heard this and Megumi says. "If it's going to work. Do it!"

"Got it. And also I'm sorry!" Daichi went over to Megumi, grabbing his jacket. "Wait...what are you doing?!"

"Trust me on this!" Daichi yelled.

The curse hisses, "L-LOVE`" But Daichi calls over its attention.

"Not so fast, spirit!" Daichi said as the curse was now growling. He went Megumi side and quickly unbuttoned his shirt and rips his suit off. "Feast your eyes on this!" He said, showing Megumi's bare chest to her. Megumi widens his green eyes.

Everyone's jaw drops. Sukuna went wide-eyed seeing this. Including the curse, they see the curse stand still, and right away, blood drips from its nose with her wide eyes.

Did it have a nosebleed?! Noabra stared. But soon, the hair growth stops. "That's right! Look at him, he is the definition of your fantasy! A dark hero!" Daichi presented.

"Haaaaaaaa....so handsome~" The curse went as it looked stunned and dazed by Megumi's chest. There were some abs. Yuji would have sworn there are heart eyes.

"Nobara! Yuji!" Daichi said.

"Right!" Nobara throws her nails up in the air and hits them with her hammer. All of them strike the curse true, making her scream. Yuji punches the curse right with a Black Flash, purple blood spills onto the floor and the curse is now distinguished. The hair disintegrates. The room went back to normal. Only the bar is wrecked.

"Wow. That was a close one!" Yuji said.

"You tell me." Nobara said. "Can't believe your plan worked, Daichi."

"I know, right?" Daichi chuckled, getting the praise. "You see. I told my plans weren't bad right? You know what that means?"

"Yeah! Freebies!" Nobara and Yuji said with their fists pumped up in the air. They were laughing and happy.

"Once we tell the host club down the street about it, they will be very happy. I heard they sell milkshakes that are to die for! I can't believe that they sell them! And..." Then Daichi heard their laughter cease and saw their faces become pale. with their lips trembling "Uh...guys, you're okay?"

"Uh...Daichi." Yuji points and so did Nobara, "Behind you...." The duo are making panic faces as they jerk their fingers to get Daichi to turn around.

Then flame sorcerer felt some intense cursed energy behind them. He slowly looks to Megumi whose face darkened with his eyes closed and arms crossed. His jacket is unbuttoned and his chest is now bare. His hair returned to its usual look. Daichi is on his knees, cowering with his hands pressed together.

"Grrrr...." Megumi looks at Daichi with green eyes glowing now with his teeth gritting. Daichi laughs nervously,

"UH.....hahahahahahaha....sorry about that? Hey! I told you the plan worked, right?! Why so serious? You can't kill me if you said the plan works." Daichi laughed as Nobara and Yuji were sweating now. But that wasn't the problem. It's how Daichi distracted the curse that is the problem.

Slowly, Megumi uncrossed his arms and raised his hands together, to make a shadow puppet.

On the streets of Shinjuku, a door was kicked down as Daichi got out of the host club fast and ran down the street as fast as he could. Soon a horde of white bunnies emerged and ran after him.

"DAICHIIIIIIIIII!"

Megumi got out of the building and is now pissed off. "YOU SON OF- GET YOUR SORRY ASS BACK HERE!" He yelled, chasing after him. Leaving a stunned Nobara and Yuji inside. Yuji had Eito in his arms.

"Uhhh...should we?" Yuji begins.

"Nah. Let's call Gojo-sensei that the mission is completed." Nobara texted him on her phone and they could hear Daichi's cries and Megumi's evil laughter. At this point, Nobara is now getting used to this while Yuji sighs. The pink-haired teen can hear Sukuna laughing non-stop. Full belly laughs.

'This is entertainment!' Sukuna laughed. Yeah...once Gojo-sensei found out about this. He will be laughing too.

"I think I should write the report for their both of sakes." Yuji volunteered. They can still hear the screams and evil laughter.

"MEGUMI! I SAID I WAS SORRY!"

"FIRST YOU WANTED ME TO BECOME HOST AND NOW YOU GO AND DO THIS! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"I SAID IT WAS A GAMBLE AND IT WORKED! THE CURSE LIKES YOU EVEN IF IT IS MAD!!'

"YOU'RE SO DEAD! SO FUCKING DEAD!'

'I can't wait to tell the princess about this! She would be delighted!' Sukuna said in his head.

'Right. Just don't tell Taz about host clubs.' Yuji told.

'Got it. But I can't promise anything if the pup asks my princess..' Sukuna said.

"Let's hope the clothes that we buy aren't messed up," Nobara said. "But on the bright side, let's hope Daichi holds up his promise of getting us milkshakes!"

"If he can survive...." Yuji sweatdropped. Another mission accomplishment. He wonders what the next mission brings.

That "The Flash" movie makes a lot more sense once you realize that it's not about time travel

I watched the new "The Flash" movie, and I really liked it. Ezra Miller does a great job playing a double role, it's always great to see Michael Keaton (especially when he reprises one of the best Batmans ever), and, most importantly for me, the film introduces a version of Supergirl that I now have some serious crush on. Almost broken, full of anger, but slowly regaining trust. Such a marvellous work by Sasha Calle, and I really hope to see more of this character!

But there's one thing that bothered me for quite some time: Time. (Ha ha.) Because the movie does some terrible job at explaining why exactly Barry Allen running fast enough to travel back in time and saving his mom would exchange Batfleck with Tim-Burton-Batman. We're told that changes in the time line work in two directions. By Bruce Wayne. With a bunch of spaghetti. Seriously?

I think we shouldn't trust Bruce on this one. I mean, he's a genius detective, but why should he know time travel shit? Exactly. So, please allow me to propose an alternative theory. Which avoids problems like unexplainably changed Batmans and grandfather paradoxes, while providing terrible new problems like vanishing Barrys and an almost infinite number of dead Supergirls (I'll try to keep spoilers at a minimum, I promise). Ready to go? Good.

Barry did not travel through time. When he entered the Speed Force to travel back in time, he indeed traveled through lots and lots of universes, each universe a bit more out of sync with his original universe. And he finally crossed over to a parallel universe whose main difference to our world, at first glance at least, is that it's years out of sync with our time. In this universe, Barry's mom is still alive. And whatever Barry does here has always been part of this universe's history. So he does not change the past, he just plays his role as a visitor in another universe.

Then he tries to get back, but can't because another being also messing with the Speed Force throws him out and he lands in another universe, where it's 2013 and his mom also has survived. But it does not necessarily have to be the same universe that he just visited (that would be one heck of a coincidence), and it definitely is not the universe he originally came from. Because this universe is the world of Tim Burton's Batman. Or one of many iterations of it. And this is one of the worlds where mommy Allen has survived. And where no Superman exists, but where a marvellous, marvellous, marvellous Supergirl is waiting somewhere to turn from almost broken damsel in distress to an abso-smashing-loutely gorgeous goddess of revenge. And so the movie's story unfolds, with two Barrys ending up trying to find a way of saving Supergirl from dying in the final battle, visiting world after world where it did not work.

Gosh. Be it time travel or inter dimensional sliding, that is always terrible: Seeing a heroine you just develop a crush on die. So. Darn. Many. Times. It's just terrible. I was an emotional wreck. Great job everyone, would go on that ride again anytime!

Oh, and of course "our" Barry does not return to his original universe, he returns to another one with a slight alternation that he wished for (filling a gap there, because this universe's Barry also went away via Speed Force, trying his luck in just another parallel-but-out-of-sync universe). Which universe our boy landed in? Finding that out made me smirk quite a lot.

So. That's my theory. Sorry that I can't offer any spaghetti to explain it like Bruce did for his theory. Might I instead offer a nice bubble bath? That might be close enough to my idea of traveling the multiverse.

Is there anyone out there writing critical She-Hulk essays that aren’t right-wing anti-woke click-bait diatribes? Cause the show is definitely bad, but I don’t trust any of those people to accurately explain why it’s bad.

Like, the main problem that permeates every episode is how disjointed it all feels. Almost like they were supposed to be an hour long but they were gutted until there were barely enough scenes to tell a comprehensible narrative in half the time.

Like, in episode 1 Bruce and Jen crash their car because of a spaceship that showed up out of nowhere and was never seen again. Like, the implication is that it came from Sakaar for Hulk’s help and in the next episode we see him leaving to presumably deal with whatever whoever came on the ship wanted. But it feels really weird that that ship just came out of nowhere and then nobody came out to like, check on the person they presumably came to see who just crashed his car, or tried to find him again after losing sight of him or came to the beach house to bother him for all the weeks/months he was training with Jen.

Or when Jen Hulks out, blacks out, wakes up outside of a bar with Bruce nowhere in sight, then five minutes later Hulks out and blacks out again and wakes up in another country with Bruce.

It just feels like a lot of pieces are missing. Like there’s big gaps in time where it’s not obvious what happened in between and how we got from point A to point B or why nothing apparently happened in between A and B. Like we don’t really see Jen’s reactions to her first Hulk-outs, or see if she hurt anyone or destroyed anything, we just hear some little aside after the fact that she was lucid. We don’t know what caused her to black out if she doesn’t have memory loss like Bruce does or why she was out long enough for Bruce to find her and take her to another country other than plot convenience.

Then there’s stuff like when Titania busts into the courtroom out of nowhere, doesn’t give a reason why she’s there, news reports after the fact don’t mention her motive, and no one ever asks the motive. I think I read someone speculate that Jen’s opposition sent her to disrupt the proceedings in order to cause a mistrial because they knew Jen was going to win her case. But even if that gets revealed eventually, it still makes Jen and everyone around her look stupid for not questioning the random unexplained courtroom attack, especially now that she’s appeared again after having her charges inexplicably dropped. It’s like the writers are still in that mindset where they think they can’t foreshadow things because then the audience might guess their precious fucking twist.

Then there’s Jen’s dating life in the latest episode. Like, she goes on a bunch of bad dates with dudes who only want to talk about themselves or only care about her body, then meets one nice guy who actually cares about her as a person, but then out of nowhere suddenly it turns out he only wanted her for her body after all. But also like, he knew she wasn’t She-Hulk all the time, because they talked about it on their date, and he acts like that’s a dealbreaker as if she can’t still be She-Hulk any time she wants. Like, even if she’s only like that 25% of the day, that’s more than you’re gonna get with any other regular human woman. It’s not like full-time She-Hulks are in abundance all over LA. The only way this could conceivably make sense would be if his problem was actually that he thought she was another shapeshifting con-artist like the one who posed as MTS, but that’s not what was suggested.

Also Jen’s kind of unsufferable. She uses She-Hulk to get dates but resents people for liking She-Hulk so why was she even going out with them in the first place? And the main issue she has with guys is that they only want to talk about themselves but then the only guy she’s interested in is someone who lets her do all the talking. She doesn’t want to actually get to know a guy or have real back-and-forth conversations. She’s just as selfish and self-absorbed as all the pricks she rejected.

Then there’s the way cases are handled. I think this show could be really amazing if it actually took its premise seriously and explored well thought-out, realistic legal ramifications of a world with superheroes, and I’m disappointed that that’s not the show’s focus, but I don’t like to complain that a thing is bad because it’s not a completely different thing it never tried to be.

But even if the show prefers to focus more on Jen’s personal life than her professional life, they could at least put SOME thought into the 5 minutes per-episode they actually dedicate to her job. Like, when she wins the case for Abomination’s parole I would’ve thought she or Emil would do a “Wait, what?” upon hearing the stipulation that Emil can never transform again. Like, they let Hulk do it even though he tore up that city in Age of Ultron and they just saw that he’s equally as capable of controlling his super-form and isn’t inherently dangerous like that. But if something triggers an involuntary transformation response in him, or if he needs to defend himself or wants to save people, you know, like an Avenger, he goes back in the slammer? Under what precedent can they even stipulate that? Doesn’t that violate his right to bodily autonomy? They let Tony Stark fly around with wrist-mounted missile launchers he can put on or take off at will but Abomination isn’t allowed to just exist as a thing Emil’s body does naturally since his body chemistry was irreversibly altered?

That could’ve been the start of an arc about Jen realizing the gravity of her new position. That it’s not just flashy, frivolous publicity for her firm getting in the way of more serious and important cases she could be prosecuting. Her work could have major implications for the state of human rights affecting countless super-powered beings, including herself.

But nah, none of that gets called into question.

Then there was the whole shapeshifter case. Like, at one point Jen breaks the fourth wall and points out that the A and B plots are merging. But not really tho. Like, helping out with the shapeshifter case doesn’t advance Emil’s case at all. It doesn’t give Jen an epiphany that helps her win the Abomination case after being stuck, it’s just a pointless detour that adds nothing. And once again we end on random bullshit that comes out of nowhere and never gets explained. Like, why did MTS want Jen to be her lawyer? Jen wasn’t even the lawyer in the case MTS was (only tangentially) involved in. It was never suggested that MTS even needed a lawyer or some upcoming court battle let alone that whatever case she had involved super heroes so why would she solicit Jen’s services? Well, she’s never seen or heard from again so the only reason is just because they wanted a scene of She-Hulk twerking with the pop-star cameo.

And you know, the twerking scene didn’t have to be pointless cringe. Like, the show is supposedly about Jen wanting to just be a “normal, anonymous lawyer” until she’s thrust into overnight stardom and has to eventually embrace the attention she gets from being a giant green super-babe. And they could’ve played into that by having MTG be like, “Oh, you’re so cool tall green lady” and Jen tries to deflect because compliments make her uncomfortable. But MTG keeps insisting and then asks Jen to “show me your moves”. Jen says she sucks at dancing and she’s at work and people might see. But MTG keeps insisting until she does it. At first it’s really stiff and bad, but MTG encourages her anyway so she loosens up and starts doing it more confidently and it gets better. Then they start twerking together and it’s an actual character moment for Jen.

But that’s not how the scene goes, it’s just Jen twerking because the guest star of the week is known for twerking and nobody cared whether it was in character.

But the worst by far is the handling of Wong’s case. It just doesn’t make any sense from start to finish. Like, Wong lives in New York and practices sorcery taught at a Nepal-based monastery, so what’s he doing litigating in LA? He talks about “unlicensed” sorcery, but who’s giving out the licenses? The DMV? Did they cut the scene in Doctor Strange 1 where he has a graduation ceremony and they give him a certificate that legally authorizes him to use magic at his discretion?

Also, couldn’t he just take the asshole’s sling ring? Over and over it’s emphasized that sorcerers possess and abide by higher powers and don’t subject themselves to the laws of mortal men and deal with larger than life problems on their own as they see fit. Except in this one instance where there’s no reason why they couldn’t. Wong himself even brings up that he could just trap the dude in the mirror dimension and it’s like, “Yeah, so why don’t you?”

And nobody in this post-Sokovia Accords world pauses for even a second to ask if it’s a good idea to say the US government has the authority to restrict people’s right to practice magic? Like, Wong’s just out there talking about random people all over the world accountable to no one wielding the power to destroy the fabric of the universe like every government on the planet’s not going to want to outlaw magic or heavily regulate who gets to use it and how after hearing that?

Think injuries. They both had injuries they had to climb back from. Are WORKING to climb back from. Maybe klay visited pg after that awful leg incident. Showed pg he's not some tied down smhuck working all for the efforts of one guy as pg likes to believe he is. And cause of klays actions, pg calls klay when he's rehabbing off HIS injury, which in turn shows klay that pg has more character to him than once thought. IT'S THE WAY they both can Change each other by actually putting effort into helping the other. They're two gears that need to spin in each other's directions in order to get the motor movin, NAMEAN? They got an unlikely relationship where one builds off another, and NO ONE expects it. That's what makes it so GOOD. It's UNEXPECTED unlocked potential! That starts something new! And GOOD! When no one takes anything serious, nothin gets done. But when they really start makin an effort to get connected, shit happens

thank you for the ask i was hoping to get some because i like to talk about my fics so much my roommates are sick of it

i have Much in the way of director's cut commentary on the fic to the point i could fill like several essays with real life mythological inspiration and other plans i had to scrap but this one i can talk a normal amount about (i hope)

a lot in the way of elder scrolls mythology isn't explained in full or is directly contradictory or unexplained, but unlike in real world mythology where you can simply say its only a reflection of the culture if you wanted to analyze it, the gods are real life sentient beings who at times have a very proactive role in people currently alive. so stories about random stuff alduin does or how he is just supposed to sit and wait for the end of the world didn't make sense in the larger plan of the gods to me, especially as an aedric being. in canon it's implied all dragons can eat souls (at least based on what odahviing says when he explains alduin's hunting grounds he 'selfishly guards' implying he doesn't let the others eat souls), but i think it was supposed to be a core function of alduin and the other dragons as gods and aedric beings. if you go the war hypothesis it could have been used in combat, but really the idea i was going for was:

people die and want to go to sovngarde, a particular realm of aetherius. if they are deemed unworthy, which seems like it could happen fairly often, i see many not wanting to take the consolation prize of wandering around some other afterlife. so what probably happened was alduin was tasked with devouring the souls of those who were unworthy but refused to stop bumming around sovngarde crowding up the fields. however, as his appetite and rebellious nature grew, he started to eat any souls he wanted, including those who are worthy and simply battling for eternity in the fields. which is a problem.

i also imagine it would also not be that hard to simply kill someone and eat their soul on the spot. they would be dead dead after that. super dead in fact. and given this is kind of an op power (so long as alduin is hungry) it probably has pissed off more than a few daedra who have to see their loyal followers get killed and eaten immediately by the aedric twilight god. i do whoever think a daedra would be far too big for him to eat so that is at least off the table.

i am planning on elaborating on this further in the fic with some of the daedra stuff to come in the form of molag bal and hermaeus mora stuff, but i dont think this is a spoiler to talk about or anything. i've hinted at it enough times and implied it i think the commentary

also im really glad you like it it means a lot to me. this started as a fun little idea (the first like 3 chapters were just gonna be a little one shot) and has blown up into a very complex story i never intended to tell but im really loving. to know other people also rly love and appreciate it makes me

30 for the meme?

Hmm. I guess since it's topical currently (what with people having overblown opinions of the flaws in Engage's writing) I'm gonna beat the dead horse of the writing in the two original 3DS games being bad to an extent that is not replicated in any other FE.

Awakening is the least bad of the two; it does have some genuinely touching moments, and some characters do talk like actual people. But overall, it's very bland, and where it isn't it's extremely flawed. Characters make really bad decisions for basically no reason other than to drive the plot; idiotball has never been this bad in a FE. Other moments are jarring too. Eliding the recruiting a random tactician for the sake of avatar, one of the first truly tense moments we have is a noble running off to the border and getting herself captured by an enemy kingdom because a character made a fart joke. A few chapters later, after a border invasion, the mostly-defenseless ruler of a country returns to a city that is potentially going to be attacked without any of her brother's armed forces. In the chapter where Emmeryn dies, a character manages to hit a three-story-high brigand with a throwing axe for coolness. In the pre-battle to that same chapter, a villain casually murders one of their own soldiers and nobody seems to have any reaction to this whatsoever. The whole "Basilio Playing Dead To Put Fake Gems In The Fire Emblem" plotline. Bringing the Fire Emblem to parley with the cartoonishly and obviously evil guy. There are more story problems, of course, but let's move on to character writing, shall we?

People seem to have the idea about Awakening characters that just because they have an explanation for their gimmick in one or two supports means that their gimmick is Fine Actually. In practice, having read every Awakening support (due to an unhealthy amount of investment in that video game as a teen) I can say that "their gimmick is explained" does not make up for it showing up in 85-90% of any given character's supports (of which there are far too many per character.) My mind is personally boggled by anyone who thinks this support writing is better than Engage's- while Engage does have character gimmicks, on average supports will revolve around them significantly less (and supports that start with gimmicks will often move away from them at higher levels.)

Fates is interesting here, because generally everyone agrees that it's the worst main story in the series, for several reasons (characters acting unrealistically, meandering plots, unexplained and arbitrary deus ex machina and diabolus ex machina moments) but people will often say its supports are better than Awakening's. True, characters do rely on gimmicks somewhat less (although these gimmicks are often far more annoying when they do show up; everyone is Gaius now) but supports are often extremely shallow/bland or comedy plots rather than learning anything interesting or new about the characters/having development. Some exceptions exist (see Support!Xander vs. Story!Xander) but overall I have never been at all excited to see a new support unlock in Fates after about my first 20 or so hours of playing.

Broadly Engage's story isn't great, especially in the first 2/3, and its character writing can be annoying, but I think that comparing it to the 3DS games does it an enormous disservice. People have nostalgia goggles on heavily for Awakening. Hell, I do too- it was my first FE, after all, and I love it despite its flaws. But you have to eventually face the facts. Engage's story at bare minimum takes itself seriously and knows what it's doing. Awakening fails at #1 and Fates fails at #2. Play another FE game and read- really read- the writing, rather than only unlocking the supports you already like a ton and skipping the main story. You will think about things.

Trigger Warning (Child abuse and grooming)

This will be my first post on this platform. Im not entirely sure how to go about it as I have never really used it seriously. I just know I have a lot to say and find myself in a world surrounded by people who couldnt possibly understand me and I cant bring myself to believe there is nobody in the world who could understand. I wonder how many people believe the same. Heres a little introduction to me. I'm a 29 year old mother of two. who recently left a bad relationship that spread out years longer than it should. I'm in the process of a very uphill custody battle that seems to be doing more damage than good. I feel very alone in the world and it only progresses more and more as I'm judged by people who have no comprehension of life as I see it or experience it. There's been a lot going on in my life as of late, but one of the most shocking things i've found recently, is how knowing the signs of sexual abuse and taking neccesary precuations to prevent it from happening before i happens presents to the court as "Mental instability" I'm accused of seeing it everywhere due to my own childhood trauma. Im seen as broken, traumatized and hypervigilint. I was diagosed with Complex Post Traumatic stress disorder, ADD, Major Depression, and Anxiety. I have a lot of triggers from a life time of trauma. I grew up wondering how people couldnt see the signs or silent cries for help...why I went my entire childhood being sexually abused by multple men.. and nobody ever knew. I always felt i was underprotected and i promised myself my kids would never have to know what that felt like. I have been vigilant and have kept my eyes open and have always protected from obvious signs. I find myself in shock knowing how this appears to the court system and people who are supposed to protect children. How they seem to see it as damage done. Rather than open eyes. Let me start by listing some signs of sexual abuse in children Bed wetting Nightmares Keeping secrets Not talking as much as usual, Not wanting to be left alone with certain people or being afraid to be away from primary caregivers, especially if this is a new behavior Sexual behavior that is inappropriate for the child’s age. (Acting out) Spending an unusual ammount of time alone. Change in eating habits Change in mood or personality, such as increased aggression Decrease in confidence or self-image Excessive worry or fearfulness Increase in unexplained health problems such as stomach aches and headaches Loss or decrease in interest in school, activities, and friends Nightmares or fear of being alone at night

Self-harming behaviors These are all factual red flags in a child that could indicate they are being or have been abused. Many peoples first reaction to many of these signs are to down play them, make excuses, jump to the most logical explaination, or blatantly ignore it. Of course obody wants to believe this could happen to their children, but i have seen from the eyes of a child just how common it is, how normalized it is and how abusers covered this abuse. I've seen people suspect it and deny it and i've felt the gut wrenching turning of the stomach when strange men would exibit famiiar behaviors towards me that have only ever lead to dark places. I could feel their intentions and I couldnt protect myself. In some way I've been trained to be able to identify these people and have found it extremely difficult to trust. Historically in my life, I haven't often been wrong about people who still give me this stomach turning feeling that something is wrong. I tend to be catious of people who alert this reaction in me and have found more often than not, these people have skeletons in their closets. My reasoning for posting this is that I'm surrounded by people who not only don't know these signs, but call me mentally unstable for believing whole heartedly that I have identified predetors that others don't believe to be so. Im constantly gaslit, and talked down on, disregarded and ignored. If there is anybody else out there that knows how this feels i'd ike to be the first to say "Youre not crazy for caring. " I am a fairly open book and have a lot of thoughts on mental health awareness, sexual abuse awareness, grooming awareness and other indicaters of abusers. And whether I have followers or not, I wish to share my thoughts on these sunjects on hopes of sparking healthy discussion on the suject matters.

What a treat to see who seem to.

By period I was finished asking this clearly distraught woman, I found that an autopsy would be beneficial for her and her family. Edelgard’s Weird Family History

It’s honestly exasperating talking about Edelgard’s Brady Bunch family but like... let me explain in detail why it irritates me with a comparison to a similar situation in FE Fates. Here’s a small thesis on Garon’s concubines in Fates.

Fates Concubines

“Garon had lots of concubines who were vying for power and his favor. There were many children sired by Garon who lost their lives in various ways, the most notable of which being involved in concubine feuds and murdering one another. Along with this, Xander’s mother Queen Katerina was well loved and respected. Because of this, the second queen, Arete, and her daughter Azura were treated badly by the other concubines and Nohrian aristocracy. All of this was relatively unknown among the Nohrian common folk. The Nohrian siblings’ dynamic and way of life was shaped by these experiences.”

Supporting the Thesis

How do we know the concubines existed? They are confirmed by all of the Nohr siblings. 

How do we know they were vying for power? Many of the Nohrian siblings’ supports confirm this, among which are Camilla/Niles and Leo/Elise. 

How do we know there were once more siblings and that they lost their lives in various ways? The JP version of Leo/Elise confirms the concubines had their children kill each other, while the Fates drama CDs confirm that other siblings were lost by execution, falling in battle or getting captured by Hoshido. 

How do we know that Arete and Azura were mistreated? Azura and the Nohr siblings confirm this, and Azura’s entire personality is a result of people treating her badly during her childhood. 

How is this unknown among the common folk? Both Niles (Niles/Camilla) and Laslow (Drama CDs) reveal they never knew that such a thing occurred and react with shock when they learn. Not only that, but the common people and the Nohrian nobility are basically cut off from each other, the former living in an underground city/shutting themselves away and just trying to survive, while the latter lives above ground. 

How do we know that these experiences shaped the dynamic of the Nohrian siblings? Many supports and story moments show this. Xander’s denial and inability to question things in fear of risking his family is because of his relationship with Garon and his regret of losing his other siblings. Camilla’s desire for love resulting in her unconditionally giving love to Corrin and her retainers is a result of her mom only loving her as a tool. Leo’s need for affection and validation from the family he has left (specifically from Camilla) is a result of being aware from a young age that he wasn’t loved by his mother. Elise’s pure and innocent outlook contrasts this because her mom was the least involved in the concubine feuds.

There are multiple sources and dialogue in Fates that you can use to support the initial analysis. Let’s try to do the same with Edelgard’s family.

Edelgard’s Family History

“Ionius had many consorts but had married for political reasons. He sired eleven children, his 9th child being Edelgard. Edelgard’s mother was Anselma, who Ionius had met at the officer’s academy on a romantic evening at the Goddess Tower. They fell in love, but Anselma was content with remaining a consort. Then Ionius tried to consolidate power to throne by taking power away from the Seven Noble Houses and consort kin such as Arundel. In the ensuing power struggle, House Hrym was destroyed, leading the other houses as well as Arundel to start an insurrection. During this time, Arundel took Anselma and Edelgard to Faerghus to escape political strife. Edelgard then returns to the Empire and is then experimented on by order of Those Who Slither in the Dark and the Nobles of Adrestia. All of Edelgard’s siblings were crippled by disease, went insane or died. Ionius could do nothing but watch in horror as all of this happened. As a result, Edelgard bore a second Crest and swore to create a world where such meaningless sacrifice is never again sanctioned, for the sake of her family.”

Supporting the Thesis.

Who exactly did Ionius marry for political reasons? Beats me. Why would he have to marry for political reasons as the emperor? Was Ionius unpopular and needed to do something to fix that? I don’t know. Nothing ever clarifies that.

Why does Edelgard say that her father and mother met at the officer’s academy, when it’s noted that Edelgard is the first Hresvelg in ages to attend? Is the word ages being exaggerated here? I don’t know.

Why is Ionius taking power away from consort kin including Arundel when it would no doubt negatively affect the one that he loves, Anselma? I don’t know. Maybe love wasn’t as big of a deal for him as political power was?

Why is only Edelgard noted to be taken away from the Empire’s political problems, and nothing is said of her siblings during this time, even by her? Who knows. Where does Ionius’ wife, the empress, go during all this? Who knows.

Why are the Adrestian nobles ordering experiments to make a stronger emperor when they just took away power from the throne? The best answer that I could give is that they want a powerful emperor they can control, but nothing really supports that part of the theory because Edelgard and the nobles mutually hate each other. Couldn’t the nobles just do what they want to do if the emperor was made that politically impotent? Probably! Then if what Edelgard said was true, why didn’t they do it already? I don’t know!

Why does no one but Edelgard and Hubert acknowledge the existence of the other imperial royal kids? Wouldn’t her noble classmates like Ferdinand at least be aware of them, especially if there were that many siblings older than Edelgard? No fucking clue.

If Edelgard swore she would change the world where such things wouldn’t happen again, why is she working with the perpetrators? Because she needs their power to topple the church. But why would she need to topple the church when the church preaches against abusing power blessed by the goddess i.e. Crests and tries its best to treat everyone equally? No fucking idea. 

Conclusion

See what I mean? Edelgard’s family history is so damn sloppy. Some important aspects go unexplained and other important aspects are contradicted. In contrast, with the Nohrian royal family’s internal politics and power feuds, where everything noted to be important is supported by the text with no major contradictions in sight.

But the worst part is, that even if you go with my approach and say “Edelgard is a known fucking liar and information that solely comes from her mouth shouldn’t be taken at face value” well... then you’re left with ‘well if Edelgard did lie then what’s the real truth’ and you don’t get answers because the game doesn’t care despite those things being integral to the main cast of two routes. 

Plus you have to suspend your disbelief that Edelgard is such a genius that she’s able to construct an entire false history regarding Adrestia’s hit sitcom “How I Met Your Consort Mother”. And Edelgard has her moments yes, but I don’t think she’s really that smart. Or maybe she is and I just can’t wrap my head around it.

So, yeah. Pick your poison. Suspend disbelief that Edelgard is such a fucking genius and/or liar or resign to the fact that the game’s writing can be really sloppy. Or pick both.

Or pick none, and believe that Edelgard is actually telling the truth about everything in regards to her family and what happened to them, with explanations that would make even a hardcore Watsonian like me dizzy with confusion.

Astrology Observations✨ (part 1)

(this is also my first observations post ever, so pls don’t take anything i say to heart)

(based on a Scorpio sun, Virgo moon, Capricorn rising, Aquarious stellium 1st house perspective😉🔍)

If you want to know how someone acts based off of their placements, just look at the element their placement is in. Their element should explain/show you how they would react in certain situations. For example, fire elements usually react impulsivily and aggressively because they’re represented by fire. Fire moves quickly, without thinking about anything in it’s path and it can grow or simmer as fast as it started in the first place. (Tbh, you can apply this for any placement I feel like).

Virgo Moons really tend to detach themselves from situations to sit back and analyze what just happened. They tend to be huge overthinkers. They need to figure out why and how something happened so they can properly come to a solution. Can easily become obsessive.

Aquarious Mars usually need space during/after arguments whether they want to admit it or not. When they don’t get that space, their anger can be quite childish and explosive. Similiar to Virgo Moons, they detach themselves from the situation when they do receive that space. But, they detach themselves emotionally.

I feel like Virgo personal placements in general are usually obsessive about cleaning / having things be cleaned.

Virgo Venus in a relationship usually says lots of things like, “Look at all the things I’ve done for you.” and “I do so much for you.”

Scorpio Venus’s are SOOO obsessive in love. Especially if it’s mixed in with more Scorpio or Virgo placements. They feel love so deeply and intensely, on a level that’s so unexplainable but beautiful. The negatives to this is that, they are prone to stalking love interests.

Venus in the 9th house can appear to be really hot and cold with attention. They pull back and become distant because they want to be sure you’re the one they want (and vice versa).

Virgo in the 11th house want to help people, especially their friends and loved ones. Like personal Virgo placements, they love listening to your problems and giving you advice. They know the true meaning of friendship and are willing to go lengths for you if you show the same effort being reciprocated. (my best friend has this, and it’s such a sweetheart placement☺️).

Virgo or Capricorn in personal placements can really enjoy working. They find it as an outlet for them (plus benefits 🤑).

Mars in the 3rd house, Gemini Mars, and Gemini Moons need an outlet to talk when they’re upset. They need to logically discuss the issue with somebody so they can process the situation.

Gemini Mars in undeveloped people can be scary. Their anger can be so explosive, impulsive and violent. Their constant racing thoughts take over so they just snap.

Virgo and Capricorn placements love lanuage is by spending quality time with you and by doing little things for you☺️

Libra Rising’s are such sweethearts. They try to always keep the peace and avoid the drama. They usually hate confrontation unless they’re influenced by Fire placements. They’re social butterflies and they just want everyone to like them.

Gemini Rising’s are so scatter brained with everything. They always need to be doing something.

Gemini Rising’s are always socialable, it doesn’t matter what other placements are in their chart. When you first meet them, they are always open to a conversation and are usually really friendly :))

Taurus in the IC are SOOO stubborn. People have been telling me my entire LIFE how stubborn I am. It’s so unconcious though, I don’t even realize.

Virgo Sun’s with Fire Moons are usually so outgoing, friendly and social. But their emotional outbursts can be explosive and extremely critical of others, self centered.

I feel like Gemini Moons and Fire Moons can be emotionally self serving whether they see it or not.

Having a lot of Aquarious placements can make it seem like someone is an entirely different person / have a different personality online.
