Sara Lance X Female Reader

Request - Hey, I have a Sara Lance X reader request. Reader is a friend of Astra's (from hell. Another of John Constantine's mistakes.) And Sara falling for her. (When Ava, Gary and Mick bring Astra back from hell, Astra pulls R with her.)

Astra went back to hell to find who sent the cursed crew on her and the team. The cursed crew made the legends of tomorrow change into reality TV stars. Everyone but Astra, Gary, Ava, Mick, and Behrad didn't change. Astra knew where the office was and she always hated Harris Ledes, the guy who was in charge of the curse crew.

At the last minute, she found out that Behrad followed her to hell. It didn't take long for Astra to find out who sent the cursed crew, she wants him to pay.

Harris was about to kill Astra and Behrad, but you stabbed him in the back.

“Y/n?” Astra said in shock.

“Hello, Astra,” you said.

“You two know each other?” Behrad asked.

“Yes, we know each other. She knows John. How did you find me?” Astra said.

“People were talking about how Astra came back to hell. I didn't believe it at first, then I saw you and I followed” You said.

“Y/n,” Astra said.

She hugged you and you are confused about why she hugged you.

Back at the ship... Ava, Gary, and Mick are trying to bring Astra back from hell. Gary starts to explain the ritual. They set up the ritual and John helped with the ritual and the spell starts to work.

“Astra, we need to go now back where we came from,” Behrad said.

“Y/n, come with us and leave hell. I'm not leaving you behind, Y/n” Astra said.

You trust Astra and you know she wouldn't lie to you.

“Okay. I trust you, Astra” You said.

You follow Behrad and Astra to the place where they came from.

Astra and Behrad went through the portal first. Then you come out and Mick aimed his gun at you.

You snatched the gun away from him. You pulled the trigger and you wanted to hurt John. He used his magic to protect himself, Ava and Mick tried to stop you. But you start to fight them and you pulled the trigger again and almost got John. You kicked Mick in the chest and he fell, Ava tried to punch you but you dodged her attack.

“Y/n stop!” Astra yelled.

You gave back the gun and you start to fight John. You took out your dagger, you throw it at him and you tried to aim for the chest. Astra used her magic to stop you

“Y/n, stop. Don't kill him or hurt my friends” Astra said.

“Why are you protecting him? He is the reason why we were in hell for decades” You said.

“It’s a long story and I will tell you. But don't kill anyone on the wave rider or I will kill you myself” Astra said

“Fine, I won't kill them...” You said unhappy.

“Y/n, I am sorry that I am the reason you were in hell” John said.

“I don't want your apology, John Constantine. I will never forgive you” You said.

Astra’s magic disappeared now you can move freely. You glare at John then you apologize to Mick and Ava.

Sara came back and she heard what happened. Astra starts to explain what happened and Sara starts to look at You.

“So, let me get this straight. You and Y/n were friends on earth but ended up in hell because of John. Now, that she is out of hell, you want her to stay with us on the wave rider for a while. But she wants to kill John” Sara said.

“Yeah, you are right. I can't just abandon her and I will make sure she doesn't kill John” Astra said.

Sara starts to look at you.

“I will try not to kill John,” You said.

“Okay, you can stay” Sara sighed.

John lights a cigarette.

“It does feel awkward right now,” Gary said.

Everyone agreed with him.

Astra is giving you a tour of the wave rider. You will stay in her room temporarily, she sits next to you in her bed.

“How come you are fine being around him?” You asked.

“It took me a while to forgive him and move on. It doesn't happen overnight, Y/n. Yes, I was very angry about everything that he did to me, and you. But I found the strength to move on from the past and I made mistakes along the way. Eventually, Y/n you will have to move on from the past when it's hard” Astra said.

You didn't know what to say and you sighed. She puts her hand on top of your hand and gave you a small smile. Then she starts to explain who are the legends of tomorrow and what they do.

You are on a mission with the legends, Astra convinced you to wear the disguise. It feels strange for you to follow the rules before you would do whatever you want.

“You look fine, just stop messing with the outfit,” Astra said.

“I get that we have to blend in. But don't pair me up with John” You said.

“You will be paired up with me not John,” Sara said.

“I’m okay with that,” You said.

Astra noticed Sara is checking you out. But Astra doesn't say anything, but you don't notice that Sara is checking you out. The team split up in different directions, but you and Sara don't say anything to each other.

“How did you end up in hell?” Sara asked.

“Because of your friend John. I was friends with John, but he attacked someone I used to love. I tried to save her but it was too late. I was sent to hell and John promised to get me out of hell but he never came. He was someone I trusted but he put a spell that I couldn't get out of hell. It took a while for me to figure it out and break the spell. I met Astra in hell and we became friends and she knew John and we bonded because of our anger for John,” You said.

“Oh,” Sara said.

She really didn't know what to say.

“Yeah, oh,” You said.

You have to help Sara and the others look for Billy the Kid. He has modern technology and it's changing the timelines. He is a famous gunslinger from the 1800s and he would travel a gang. You and Sara find Billy at a bar, and he is showing off his cell phone and everyone is impressed.

“Billy, we will need that phone,” You said.

“Who are you? And I won't give you this machine” Billy said.

“You don't have a choice,” You said.

“I thought we had a plan,” Sara said.

“Your plan took too long. Look, Billy give us the phone and I will buy you a drink” You said.

Billy takes out his gun in two seconds.

“It doesn't have to be like that,” Sara said

"Why didn't you do that every other time we were threatened at gunpoint?" You sighed.

You used your ability telekinesis to move the gun out of his hand. Everyone is in shock and Sara is ready to fight.

“H-how the hell did you do that!?” Billy asked.

"I thought the plan was to do this easily," Sara said.

“She is a witch!” Someone yelled.

“I’m not a witch” You said

Sara glares at you.

"Why didn't you do that every other time we were threatened at gunpoint?" Sara said.

“You just want to see me in action” You winked.

You used telekinesis again and grabbed the phone. Billy ran towards you to punch you, but you grabbed him by the shirt and flipped onto the floor. Now, the other guys start to fight you and Sara. Now everyone is fighting in the bar, you used telekinesis to throw someone out the window. You and Sara keep fighting then you use your telekinesis to take their guns away. Then Sara grabbed your hand and you two ran out of the bar.

You and Sara made it to a safe place. You are breathing hard and you don't notice that she is checking you out.

“I’m going back on the ship,” You said.

“Me too,” Sara said breathing hard.

“You are a really good fighter. You are the total package you are smart, skilled fighter, and hot” You said.

“Are you flirting me, when we almost got shot?” Sara asked.

“I am,” You said.

“You are not bad yourself, Y/n,” Sara said.

You winked at her and she couldn't help to smile.

You and Sara are starting to get close. Always flirting with each other and you show off your powers. Sara developed feelings for you but she is trying to figure out if you like her.

Sara is heading to the kitchen when she hears Astra yelling at you. Sara stands there and listens…

“You almost let them kill John!” Astra yelled.

“Why are you defending him so much!? He is a horrible person. Anything he touches turns to crap, Astra! He let us suffer in hell, did you just forget that?” You said.

“I didn't forget that. But I did forgive him and it wasn't easy. But -”

“You are not the same person that I used to know, Astra,” You said.

You walked away and she just sighed. You didn't notice Sara but she went to check up on Astra.

“Are you okay?” Sara asked.

“I don't want to talk right now, Sara” Astra said.

She walked away and Sara hoped that you would forgive Astra. Sara saw you sitting alone and she sat next to you.

“What happened with you and Astra,” Sara said.

“I went on a mission with Astra and John was there. We had to fight a group of soldiers but someone was to hurt John and i didn't do anything, Astra saved him. She wants me to forgive him but I won't forgive him” You said.

“Since you got here. Everyone can sense the tension between you and John” Sara said.

“Are you going to make me forgive him?” You asked.

“I can't tell you what to do, Y/N,” Sara said.

“But you are the leader of the team,” You said.

“Yes, but I can't tell you to forgive someone when you are still angry at him-”

You didn't let her finish her and you rolled your eyes at her.

“Save the speech, Sara,” You said.

“I can tell you will be stubborn,” Sara said.

“You still find it hot” You winked.

Sara stands up and heads to the door.

“I’m not going to answer that,” Sara said.

Sara is helping you train. She has her staff and she is fast, and you try to dodge her attacks.

“You have to do more besides dodge my attacks,” Sara said.

“I can do more than dodge,” You said.

“You can't flirt with your way out of this, Y/N,” Sara said.

“I knew that you liked it when I flirted with you” You smirked.

“I didn't say that,” Sara said.

You used telekinesis to get her staff and you winked. Then you and Sara continue to train, she throws a punch to distract you then she kicks you, and you fall down.

“I thought you were fast” Sara teased.

“You just want to see me under you, which I don't mind” You smirked.

She rolled her eyes and smiled. You used your feet to grip her ankles and made her fall down. You thought you were going to pin her but she quickly pinned you and pinned your wrists above your head.

“I’m not going to say I like this or hate this right now,” You said.

You and Sara are breathing hard. Sara kissed you and you started to kiss her back. She lets go of your wrists and automatically your hands go on her ass. She doesn't stop kissing you and you don't want her to stop.

“We can't tell anyone about this” Sara said between kisses.

“I won't kiss and tell,” You said.

She kissed you again then she got up now you stand up.

“We should get away from… so we can be alone,” Sara said.

“I like the idea of that. Do you think they will survive without you?” You said.

“We will find out” Sara smiled.

She starts to kiss you and you put your hand on her lower back. The relationship is still a secret and she moves closer to you.

I have always been “ship and let ship” kind of person, but you can tell when a ship exists solely because the canon couple is interracial.

For example:

Luke/Aemond

Aegon III/Jaehaera

Jace/Sara

Jace/Rhaenyra

It’s outright racism, no one was shipping this pre HotD because House Velaryon wasn’t black therefore couples including a Velaryon still fit the lily-white aesthetic.

A lot of people cannot comprehend the idea that the Dragon Twins and Daenaera are beautiful, wanted and get the dashing Prince. White women are meant to be the ideal, the pinnacle of womanhood and femininity, by having JL&A openly choose a black woman instead they destroy this delusion. Thus fans retaliate by either projecting the ideal white wife onto them or simply fetishising a mlm pairing.

You see this in real life, Meghan Markle is the uppity black woman who doesn’t know her place because she stole the “marry Prince Harry” fantasy only white woman are allowed to fantasise about. It’s ok for Kate to marry William because she’s one of them thus they can project onto her, they can’t do that with Meghan.

So going back to HotD, the Dragon Twins and Daenaera ruin the “marry Prince Charming” fantasy just like Meghan did. Therefore they will ship JL&A with absolutely anyone or anything as long as the partner’s white.

You're so right. The way they just cling to any completely unimportant character only because they're white is awfully racist and incredibly pathetic. There are thousands of canon white ships yet they feel the need to create more non-canon ones because they don't like the interracial canon ones.

This reminds me of the people who complain about the typical X character x reader when the reader is described as non-white. Why do you even complain? There are a thousand others that describe a white reader. You have options.

8. What do you like most about your own work?

Only thing I can say specifically is my improvement in drawing, which has always been more difficult for me than my digital paintings because paint lets me fudge around with shapes and placement a lot more forgivingly.

TURN

I've only recently read the Harry Potter books and after recovering enough from the effect of them, I successfully drowned myself in fanfics and had the luck to read TURN by the wonderful saras_girl as one of my first fanfics in this fandom. And it was so perfect that I will nevet find the right words to express it. It is just everything a Drarry shipper would want and so much more. It's a blessing. And now I can't help but feel like every other fanfic I read lacks something and none could give me as much satisfiction as TURN. And I can't even complain, cause it is so perfect. It had a great inpact on me and a very positive influence. I wish I could just read it forever, forgetting it all and starting all over again. It would be Heaven.

Yep, that was me simply ranting how much in love I am with this flawless piece of work. SO IN LOVE.

If any Drarry shipper sees this and still hasn't read it, go for it, you will not be disappointed in any way other than the fact it ends eventually and you have to return to life again.
