The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black Pt1

Next on the list is by far the most known family as well as the largest which is why i'm splitting this into multiple parts. The Black family colors is black, green, and gold and their Hogwarts house is of course Slytherin. Their family motto is Toujours Pur which is French for always pure. Despite popular belief there is nothing in their family line that would lead us to believing they are French. I know we all wish they were and I too blush like a highschool girl at the thought of Sirius flirting with Remus in french or Regulus only being nice to James in french. Don't worry you're not alone.

The family experienced their "rise to fame" after the fall of the House of Gaunt. They were still pretty well respected within wizarding society before this, but weren't really considered "royalty" until what was thought to be the end of the Gaunt's male line.

The family tree is located in the drawing room of the family's town house in London called Grimmauld's Place. The tree is bordered with gold trim that has the words "En stirps nobilis et gens antiquissima Black" repeated on it, which translates to " A noble and ancient Black race". The family is known for having pitch black hair and pale skin. Along with that they are known for their rather extreme views on blood purity and their long history of incest. Due to the long history of incest members of the noble house of black are not known to live for a long period of time, and often times are very sickly. However despite their sickly health they are known to have strong magical cores and are skilled in many different forms of magic.

It is unclear as to whether or not Grimmauld's Place is the family's primary residence but I imagine that due to the family's extensive wealth (and willingness to flaunt said wealth) they have a manor much like the Malfoy's do.

The Black's are known for their numerous traditions and my favorite tradition that they have is their naming tradition. All members of the Black family have a star related name and sometimes when a person marries into the family they will change their name to match this tradition. The female members will often still stick to this tradition when marrying and having their own children.

It is no secret that the Black family has very extreme Blood purist views and where avid supporters of Voldemort however despite this only 3 members out of the many Blacks family members alive at that time where actually Deatheaters.

The family's reputation took a huge hit after the first wizarding war and the last name Black no longer held any power. People in the wizarding world begin to regard them as a family full of mad people, and in 1994 the last bearer of the family name, Sirius Black, was killed by his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange nee Black effectively putting an end to the noble and most ancient house of Black.

A Wolfstar Soulmate AU where Sirius,James and Remus as kids used to be glued together at the hips but in the blink of an eye Remus was now one of the popular boys and Sirius was the choir geek/shy insecure tiny thing so Remus couldn't be friends with him anymore. Well on their birthdays they get soulmate identification marks.....but before Sirius' birthday he was pulled out of school because of how severely he was being bullied by Remus and his new group of friends. James is also popular but he's a good friend and still hangs out with Sirius but little does he know that Sirius mental health has gone down hill fast but knows Sirius was pulled out of school and enrolled in online classes.

Sirius' last words to Remus being "I hope you never find your soulmate, and if you do I hope they're smart enough to reject you because I wouldn't want to be your soulmate even if we were the last two people on earth."

And that's when Remus realizes how much he hurt Sirius and tries everything to fix it by texting him since Sirius wouldn't have his number so he asks James' for it and they start texting.

An AU where Regulus survives the cave and people (mostly Sirius) keep getting him ocean/fish/kraken themed gifts.

Examples of these gifts include:

A Tshirt with a cartoony fish pattern for his birthday. (Where did Sirius get it?? Stores don’t sell these in adult sizes?? And it hasn’t been made larger with magic because the fish are the same size as they are on the kids shirts.)

One of those fish shaped hats that are supposed to look like the fish is eating your head.

the marauders are great friends, but a bit less respectful of each other’s boundaries (especially when it came to crashing dates)

as james planned out the perfect date: the best music, move suave outfit, anything and everything that he could overthink in advance to his date with reggie----sirius planned out just how to wreck it

thankfully regulus was one of the few other people that would be understanding of the chaos brought about by sirius

there would be payback though, many wrecked nights and dates because of the menace that is a petty regulus black teaming up with a prank mastermind (james), the smartest person in their class (lily), and a girl who "just wants to have fun" (mary).

remus would later on think back to the many disaster dates, the great prank wars of 1976, 1977, and 1978. all those memories of the dead, wrecked his nights.

Remus opened his letter, surprised when it appeared to be a howler. The last time he’d heard one was the day before Sirius got disowned back in 5th year.

He was in the dining hall for breakfast, sitting at the staff table. He watched as Harry and Hermione plotted, looking anxious. He blew it off, as it seemed Harry was always weary.

“A howler,” Snape sneered from beside him.

“Astute observation, Severus.” Remus told him, nodding at him.

Remus disregarded Snape, and focused on the howler. There was no name on it, so it was possible it was from a student playing a prank. In good nature, for the prankingnostalgia, Remus opened it.

There was silence for a moment before a loud, booming voice started to yell. “DARLINGGGGG, GUESS WHOS BACK FROM JAIL” And it was his Sirius Black. And he knew they would find each other again.
