-he tries so hard to be suave and cool that it makes you cringe. you’re pretty sure you heard the line he just used on you from a shojo anime…

-he’s really rude. it’s not on purpose, I swear, but if you wear something he doesn’t like he’ll just look at you all displeased. “are you really going to wear that to the function? I did tell you it was formal… right?”

-analyses everything you do, but is often wrong. will try to predict what you’re going to say/do next only to be proven wrong, embarrassing himself

-snobby when it comes to books, even if his favorite thing to read is manga. will criticize you for liking the Percy Jackson series with a copy of Naruto in his hand

-he’s handsome and he knows it. is a bit too cocky about his looks and ends up relying on them too much. unfortunately, you don’t care about how handsome he is after he’s missed the fourth date in a row

-speaking of dates, he’s bad about canceling last minute and/or leaving mid date for his job(if you can call it that)

-he’s so clingy at times, sometimes when you would rather not be held. then when you’re in need of some comfort or cuddles, he’s distant and cold. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME

-has definitely used a line from fifty shades of grey in the bedroom, turning your coochie into a desert immediately

-gives you gifts that you don’t even want, like expensive jewelry and clothes when all you wanted was some roses and a teddy bear. he often buys you things that you can wear that are HIS style. not yours

-if he’s gone for a while he may send someone to watch over you, that person often being Feitan or Pakunoda. Pakunoda is okay, bringing you desserts and hanging out. Feitan however watches you from a distance, and only after you call the police on him because he looks like he’s going to murder you, does Chrollo inform you that Feitan is his friend. Feitan isn’t a bad guy though. Once you invite him in his creepiness dies down. A little.

i recently found your tumblr and i just realised that i forgot to tell you....

i would like to sincerely thank you because you and your videos are the reason why i got into one piece this year. i watched your law/corazon one and thought that it was an interesting dynamic, but your zosan one got me HOOKED

i actually grew up with one piece, kind of watching some episodes on tv, kind of reading random chapters above my bro's shoulder, so i knew the main frame and the main spoilers, but i never really started to read it from A to Z on my own (well i tried once, back in 2015. i lasted 66 chapters💀)

besides the length, one of the main reason why i didn't get into it before was because dudebros fans/powerscalers had me convinced it was just another shonen anime like naruto, bleach etc (no shade to them, i also grew up watching/reading them (with more involvement than with OP too, i just can't say they're my fave mangas ever, even if i like them. they're pretty classic if you look at the formula imo))

ANYWAY,,, i started catching up from chapter 66 in january and less than a 100 days later i was caught up👍🏽 if i had been told that it was mainly a story about adventure, friendship, dreams and FOUND FAMILY i would have gotten into it a good decade ago at least. but it's actually all because of a video that i decided to watch on a whim. i can honestly say one piece is one of my favorite manga EVER, and you're the one who lit up the spark, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you❤️

(also goes to show how important what you're doing is... the way fans showcase the media they like has a huge impact on its image and you shade a different (if i may, more accurate) light on what one piece is about)

Meh. I have never said 'it's obvious' about Hashimada. So they might not be talking about me. Lots of SNS shippers talk about SNS being obvious because it is. Denying it IS heteronormative and ignorant. I have discussed it many times before. I have also talked about random subjective interpretation and how problematic and reductive it is. Also stupid. When people say SNS is not romantic, they are just glossing over or dismissing many narratively commonplace and classical romance tropes, visual imagery and literary context that Kishi writes and draws very thoughtfully. And many same exact tropes used to portray closetedness used in this story can be identified in a wide variety of popular gay media worldwide. It's not that difficult to recognise these tropes. When the same romance tropes and visual imagery are used for f/m relationships, these same fans fawn all over it like their lives depend on it. And this is a fandom where the most neutral action in a f/m dynamic is forcibly interpreted as romantic. So no. A subjective interpretation where fans say SNS is platonic is transparently heteronormative, lol, they aren't fooling anyone. Sorry but if fans think one cannot see this hypocrisy, they are mistaken. Heh. This is why I suggest people to watch gay media. This is why I list the names of such media in my posts. I don't feel bad in the least for seeing through all that dumb whining.

Like I always say, people can only understand media as per their worldviews and understanding of the world. What they can't see, they won't understand. What's extremely clear to me might not be to others. But that's why I write this blog where I damn well overexplain everything and even entertain silly asks, inject quite a bit of my effort into it. Because I feel like I owe this story. If I am able to benefit a fellow fan, great. If not, well, I can only explain things to them, I can't understand it for them. First of all - THANK YOU! <3 Sorry it took so long.

My grandmother wrote poetry and fairy tales and published several books for children. One of them is 300+ pages with pictures. I started writing when I was a schoolgirl. There were a couple of originals that I never finished. I started writing fanfiction when I was 18, when I became immersed in the Naruto fandom.

My acquaintance with Star Wars began with the Original Trilogy, which was on video cassettes. I was probably about 7. I liked the Original Trilogy, but I wasn't a fan. I was surprised to see the Prequel Trilogy a while later. I don't know how it passed me by while it was in theaters, but I first saw The Phantom Menace on TV when I was a student in 2010.

I have a collection of owl figurines. They are different and of different shapes. It all started with one figurine of an owl which was the Master of Law. I wanted to find such an owl but a Master of Literature. But there were no such people, but there were others, smaller and funny. So I probably collected about 50 owls and never received a Master of Literature. I once ordered one, but it arrived broken. I was upset and didn't take it back. Probably should have picked it up and glued it together.

hahah well TJ.. as you know you've been very influential when it comes to ships - especially for Naruto. First one that comes to mind is KakaGai, but there's also YamaSai and KankuSai and ShikaCho. All of them I still love <3 Also, thanks to you I shipped GaraShir before I even watched the show. And there are just countless ships from other fandoms that I'm not (really) a part of that I have a soft spot for, because you sell them so well :))

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

Errr I guess you could say HP? But that's not Tumblr's fault - all it did was share the messed up things Rowling said and did and gradully all of the moments HP got tiny kid me through rough and lonely times started feeling like a very big lie and I can't even think of it fondly anymore.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

Oh gosh, so many, but let's go for Fjord from Critical Role. All the little and big steps he takes towards learning to accept himself throughout the campaign and the way they don't come all at once but are spread out over like a hundred plus episodes, including inevitable steps backward. The strength it took for him to walk away from the one who gave him conditional power and to accept unconditional love that is extended by his friends and the Wildmother. His arc just makes me so emotional and happy every time I think about it. I love him and I love his journey and I cannot wait to see it animated.

M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.

Yamato from Naruto seems like a perfect friend. He's kind and loyal and usually a reasonable, level headed person who can calm you down in stressed situations. But he's also someone you can have fun with!

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

For Saraiya Goyou: 1) anyone other than me making stuff for it lol. Usually I don't mind it so much, but sometimes I almost desperately wish I would see the tag update and it's not something I made. 2) drawings and fics from the past are mostly for Yaichi and Masa. I'd love more art and writing for other characters and pairings (romantic or otherwise) 3) sneakily shared fan translations of the prequels and spin-offs would be great lol. They're never going to be translated officially, but scans are taken down immediately as well. I bought Futagashira but I have no way of reading it unless I learn to read Japanese myself ^^;

O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?

Shuffle produced Pulling Teeth by Green Day. "I'm all busted up, broken bones and nasty cuts, accidents will happen, but this time I can't get up." That's definitely Meg and Zagreus from Hades. They beat each other up on a regular basis lol and I was so bad at this game in the beginning I got Zag killed by her a lot (sorry Zag..) Not top 10 ship for me, but I like them well enough!

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

1) Matsu from Saraiya Goyou: during my first reread the manga, after I learned that he loved Yaichi, I fell in love with him through his subtle and heartbreaking expressions. That's when I really got to know and understand him more. I love that he's charming as can be for his job, but doesn't know how to behave around his friends. He's so skilled and he knows it, yet has such a low self esteem. He's just a highly skilled, very pathetic little grumpy guy that deserves all the love in the world. And I give him as much as I can. 2) Caduceus from Critical Role: perfect, big, chill cow man who has the best advice and calming words for others, but can't recognise his own problems, let alone how to deal with them. He's so dumb and wise and I love him. 3) Gerry from the Magnus Archives: he's one of those people that seems to be full of contradictions. He's so bitter and stubborn and impatient and crude, but in a way that feels friendly? His life was so full of grief and horror from the moment he was born and he just wants a break from it all, but at the same time he can't stop himself from helping people who are about to fall - or have already fallen - victim to the horrors. The fear and defiance he lived (and died) with is heartbreaking and admirable.

I'm sorry for filling up your asks, but in addition to my last rant. People say naruto deeply understands sasuke unlike anybody else. But what exactly does he understand that no other orphan in the village can't. Naruto can't understand what sasuke feels for itachi, naruto can't understand the curse of hatred. Sometimes naruto doesn't even try to understand, his plan is just to beat sasuke to his senses. Naruto doesn't even pick up that sasuke has reached such a level of hatred that he's willing to leave the village. Isn't he supposed to be his so called best friend. Also I don't understand why naruto doesn't like sai or have the same "empathy" for him that he has for sasuke. Is that just a plot hole. Both sai and sasuke insult naruto and belittle him and both of them are orphans. Why doesn't naruto even try to bond with sai, towards naruto, sai and sasuke share the same attributes.

Also naruto saying sasuke is the only one that didn't look at him with hate is also stupid. Hinata didn't, the third didn't, the Ramen dude didn't. The only reason sasuke didn't look at him with hate was because he was too busy hating his actual brother, there was already enough hate in his heart for him to hate a random dude. So that reason for sasuke and Naruto and having the best bond is always thrown out of the window.

Their fight at the end of part 1 made sense, the part 2 fight was just fan service. They made up because well sure. Sasuke magically cares for naruto he spent 9 months with and has barely anything in common with as much as he does with Itachi. In that moment watching it seems beautiful. But later on im like whre exactly is sasuke getting these feelings from. We then get some bogus flashbacks about naruto was always looking at sasuke as a kid because they were orphans. People say naruto deeply understands sasuke unlike anybody else. But what exactly does he understand that no other orphan in the village can't.

No one said that in canon, so I'm guessing you're referring to the fans, in which case I'm not gonna bother discussing it.

Sometimes naruto doesn't even try to understand, his plan is just to beat sasuke to his senses. Naruto doesn't even pick up that sasuke has reached such a level of hatred that he's willing to leave the village. Isn't he supposed to be his so called best friend.

He understood all of that and more during the Land of Iron arc, so this point is null and void.

Also I don't understand why naruto doesn't like sai or have the same "empathy" for him that he has for sasuke. Is that just a plot hole. Both sai and sasuke insult naruto and belittle him and both of them are orphans. Why doesn't naruto even try to bond with sai, towards naruto, sai and sasuke share the same attributes.

Naruto did grow to like Sai, but their relationship got off to an obviously rocky start. But I don't know why you were expecting a similar relationship between Naruto and Sai when Sai wasn't the rogue ninja who was lost in darkness and needed saving. Sai was fine and doing well in the village. It's not like Naruto looked at Sai and saw how much internal strife he was going through and just hurt, because that's what Sasuke was experiencing, not Sai.

Also naruto saying sasuke is the only one that didn't look at him with hate is also stupid. Hinata didn't, the third didn't, the Ramen dude didn't. The only reason sasuke didn't look at him with hate was because he was too busy hating his actual brother, there was already enough hate in his heart for him to hate a random dude. So that reason for sasuke and Naruto and having the best bond is always thrown out of the window.

That was never a reason for their bond anyway.

Their fight at the end of part 1 made sense, the part 2 fight was just fan service.

I don't see how it was fan service when they still obviously had a lot of issues that needed to be resolved.

They made up because well sure. Sasuke magically cares for naruto he spent 9 months with and has barely anything in common with as much as he does with Itachi.

You're still acting as though having things in common with people is the most important factor in building strong relationships. That, and are you really insinuating that you can't possibly come to care for someone who you spend 9 months with? So that whole thing about how Sasuke came to view the shadow of his family within Team 7 is just a load of unrealistic nonsense to you?

What exactly makes them bogus? Do you honestly expect Naruto to have an equally strong relationship with every single orphan in the village, just because they're orphans? Naruto doesn't know the other orphans, but he knows Sasuke, he spent time with Sasuke, and he therefore cares about Sasuke. I don't see what the issue is here.

The tags on that princess mononoke don't even really hold that much weight because naruto's always telling his opponents he could've easily ended up like them or their roles could've been reversed and maybe sasuke just isn't ashitaka but naruto has just as much claim to San given the scenario. No, it's not random or weird. You're totally on the money, Anon. It's why I absolutely cannot stand the reverse shipping name fans of sasunaru. This isn't a stand-alone instance, I've had a bit of losers and anons comment on my art, too, other artists also lol. I started noticing it a year in, and my whole viewpoint changed, unfortunately.

And sasuke could easily be Ashitaka, I'm not gonna bend say "maybe" to them. Everyone has different protrayls and interpretations of the characters, and it won't be the same. They can enjoy all the content catering to them, cause I've seen that version the other way multiple times but no one decided to tell the artist they're fucking stupid for thinking this works that way. I've never in my life come across this kind of entitled nonsense with other ships. They know to just ignore and block something they despise.

I'm in a lot of fandoms, but I don't write for many any more. If prompted from any of this, I may share a snippet from something, but some of them are like too embarrassing to share LMAO.

There's the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings fan fictions that will never see the light of day (they were my first fandoms). Except for maybe "Bofur's Hat" if I ever finish it. It's a really sad story about how he lost the love of his life and she made him wear a silly hat once, so now he does so in memory of her. I usually wrote for Thorin, Fili, Kili, and Bofur as well as some OC's, and Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli, Haldir, and Rumil for Lord of the Rings and some OC's.

I've also written for Voltron but mostly Klance, but that was the first fandom I was sort of chased out of because the fandom itself was so toxic. Don't get me wrong, I still like Klance, but I'm terrified of that fandom. I do have a few comics strips I made Here and Here that I liked on my main account but other than that eh.

I was also a Naruto-Nerd back in the day and wrote some good stuff for Jiraiya, Naruto, Sasuke, Kiba, Shikamaru, and Gaara that'll never see the light of day. (I'm still debating on the one I called "Grimalkin's Prayer" because that one is so sad I cry every time I reread it. (Grimalkin is my plot critter and that was the first time I killed off a character in fiction and I got addicted to the pain it caused. ANGST FOR EVERYONE!!!)

And don't get me started on the Supernatural fan fiction I wrote where I had an OC that used hula-hoops filled with salt on a harness to keep demons away from her. And the holy water filled water guns. And the exorcisms on tape. She was the most random ass character and Sam and Dean never could get a read on her.

BBC Sherlock fan fiction where they raised Mary and John's kid together after Mary died, and she became a lot like Sherlock and John's love child. She scared Anderson a lot which was a lot of fun.

And of course, Boku No Hero Academia/My Hero Academia which is what is exclusively on my AO3 right now. I'm /OBSESSED/ with EraserMic and it shows. I can't read fan fictions of them because people put in sex a lot and I'm just here for the friendship, angst, fluff, and romance. TBH. It's the ace in me. Sorry guys! I know I have a couple of pieces that have sex in them on my AO3, but those scenes were written by other people >.>; One of which didn't want credit for reasons, but the other is credited as a coauthor. I use a lot of the teachers, and occasionally the students of 1A in my fan fictions for EraserMic however, because they are a good crew and I love them your honor.

We met in a community theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar. We started talking after a rehearsal, one thing led to another, and now here we are almost 9 years later.

To this day, if you happen to find our old little theatre, you can still see us on the poster in the lobby.

We had planned a big wedding, but alas, that wedding was supposed to take place in 2020. Obviously, that didn't pan out, and it left us scrambling to figure out what to do (our wedding and reception venues literally cancelled on us a month before the ceremony). We ended up doing a small ceremony in my mom's backyard instead.
