"Why weren't you watching?" His voice is cold and filled with contempt as he glares at you, his nails digging into the skin of his palm.
"I-I was! Why wouldn't I watch, I've been backstage this whole ti-" Your voice is soft, trying to quell the fury in his gaze.
"Liar!" He steps closer to you, causing you to back away. He takes a deep breath before speaking again. "You weren't watching. When I was offstage, I looked for you behind the curtains. But you were never there." He's now right in front of you, grabbing the door handle and slamming it shut. "All those training sessions, all those late nights memorizing my lines till it felt like my head was going to burst, all the blood, sweat and tears- It was all for you!" His breathing is heavy and his voice is a low growl, his light tan skin flushed with anger.
"Aurelius, I...I had no idea..." Your voice trails off, eyes gazing into his with regret. "But, I did watch! It's just that near the end I got a phone call, so I had to leave the theatre to pick it up and I got distracted!"
"I don't need your excuses." He spat, glaring down at you. "I understand. I get that I'm just another actor you have to work with; you're just here for the paycheck. And that's fine!" He backs up, a deranged smile on his face. "But could you at least pretend that you care? Just a bit?"
"I do care! why wouldn't I care, I've been working with you on this for months! Please, no need to get so upset." Your words cut through him like a knife, and his eyes widen with disbelief.
"'No need to get so upset'?! How can you even say that right now?! I've put so many hours into this, spent so much time on this all for your approval, and when the day finally comes you don't even stay to watch?! I'm not just upset, I'm-" he takes a deep breath, shaking slightly. "Heartbroken."
"Aurelius, please, listen to me. The reason why I couldn't stay is because I got a call from my best friend, and they sounded really upset, so I needed to go help them... I'm sorry."
He turns towards you, a look of cold, pure, disbelief on his face. His eyes widen as he mutters something under his breath. The room is so quiet that even though he whispered, you could hear every word clearly.
"You missed my show...for someone else?" He takes a step back. "You missed my show...because someone told you to?" The silence is thick between the two of you, the same deranged smile appearing on his face. He chuckles, his laughter becoming louder and more insane. "Are you serious?! After all that time we spent working, you left me for your friend?!" Tears roll down his face, smearing his makeup. He stumbles back into the sound table and clutches onto it while trying to regain his composure.
"Auri, you have to understand! It was an emergency, I had no other choice!" The desperation in your voice is evident, you need him to realize the severity of the situation. You walk up to him and hesitantly place a hand on his shoulder. Your breath hitches in your throat when he smacks your hand away, looking up at you through the gaps in his fingers over his eyes.
"Don't," His voice is shaky, yet still cold and unforgiving. "Don't touch me. You don't deserve to after what you've done. I know how much I mean to you now, I don't need your lame explanations." He straightens up before walking out the door, standing in the frame for a second. "Bandaids don't fix bullet holes." He departs with a swish of his hair, leaving you standing alone in the now deathly quiet sound booth.
Tumblr media
He grabs his stuff, slipping a small object into his bag as he hurriedly exits the theatre, wiping off his smudged makeup. He doesn't even take the time to change out of his costume, his brain is too panicked to even think about anything except what you said.
"Excuse me, you work with y/n right?" A person with a panicked expression walks up to him, biting their nails worriedly. His angry expression immediately changes to one of calmness.
"Yes, I do. why do you ask?" He puts on his signature winning smile as he bends down to their height.
"Well, I was with them earlier when they said they had to leave, and they didn't even tell me where before they just left! I know they work here, so I was wondering if you've seen them?" Your friend seems really troubled at your sudden disappearance, but Aurelius had other things on his mind.
"Actually, I think I have an idea of where they might be. Follow me!" His charming disposition and comfortable aura would make anyone follow him without question, including your friend. They started to walk together, the silence between them tense because of the worry that accompanied it. He lead them up and down roads, into busy lanes and quiet walkways. Eventually, they landed in front of a large forest.
"Wait... this is their favourite forest! You're a genius, I don't know why I didn't think to come here sooner!" Aurelius looked at your friend with exquisitely veiled contempt, their eyes shining with hope disgusting him.
"Oh, really?" He feigns surprise, not wanting to give away his true intentions just yet. "I didn't know! I just remember seeing them come here one time after work, I didn't know it was their favourite." He was lying. He knew everything about you. Your coffee order, the route you took home after work every day, the position in which you slept, everything. "Shall we head in?" He asked politely, extending a hand toward them. They nodded, walking into the dimly lit forest.
"I don't think I got your name, sorry."
He scoffs inwardly, berating them in his mind. "How do you not know my name? Me, the Aurelius Yavuz? You should be able to tell from one glance alone!" He thought, but he responded kindly regardless. "It's Aurelius. Aurelius Yavuz. And you?"
"Carmen! It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Yavus!" The way your friend sounds so cheerful disgusts him.
"Likewise," he mumbles, his voice sounding slightly pompous from their ignorance of his status. He brings their attention elsewhere, just wanting to get this whole ordeal over and done with as soon as possible. "I think I heard a noise over that way, would you like to check it out?" He points towards a dark corner of the forest with a small clearing in the middle.
"That looks like their hiding spot...yes, I think they might be there! quick!" Carmen starts to run into the thicket of trees, leaving Aurelius behind. In the dim light of the evening sun peeking through the trees, his eyes glow with a menacing aura. A confident smirk makes its way onto his face as he follows behind them. He pulls a small knife out of his bag, the shining metal glinting in the light.
"Aurelius...they're...not here..." Carmen's disappointed voice emanates through the forest. He slowly walks toward them, the satisfied look on his face making him seem even more insane than before.
"Aww, now isn't that a shame~?" He steps even closer, now almost nose-to-nose with them. "Don't worry," He brings his arm behind their shoulder, placing his hand right behind their neck. "You won't have to even think about them anymore." In a flash, Carmen collapses to the ground, the once pristine silver knife now tainted with potent red sin.
He dusts off his hand, wiping the blood on the knife onto the backside of his costume. He scoffs as he looks down onto the now still body of your beloved friend, kicking their body into the bushes beside him. He walks away and out of the forest, taking the same path you always take to your residence. He stops in front of your house, knocking on the door. He takes a deep breath and forcefully makes his eyes look teary, needing every tactic he knows to make you believe him. You open the door, stepping back when you see him.
"Aurelius, why are you-"
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lash out at you like that. I just...was so upset, I thought this show meant something to you! But, I understand that you have your priorities, so I'm not mad anymore. Forgive me?" He gazes into your eyes, false tears now pooling at the corners of his eyes.
"Oh, Auri..." You embrace him tightly, crying into his chest. "I'm so sorry! I should've stayed, I should've watched, I didn't mean to hurt you that bad, I'm sorry!" You can't see his face as you're sobbing into his shirt, not able to see the knowing smirk on his lips. He pats your head kindly, cooing at you to help you calm down.
"Hey, hey, don't cry... it's okay now. Everything's been taken care of, now it's just you," he kisses the top of your head, rubbing soothing circles into his back as a sharp glint flashes through his eyes.
"and me."

Hi, can I request a platonic Rosie(or several overlords if that’s okay) with a Female reader who’s a teenager overlord who accidentally became an overlord?
The Overlord of Disasters
Fem teenage reader x platonic Rosie (and other overlords)
This got way too long so I tried to shorten it, hope you still enjoy it.
Word count: 2886
Note: I actually am working on a young adult/teenager oc that has the powers to become an overlord, so the fact that this is my first request is very funny. When I've finished her design, I'll write about her. But for now, here is the story of Y/n the overlord of disasters.
Tumblr media
Y\n had to admit that she wasn't the nicest person but she never expected to end up in hell. HELL, like yess she was a bit of a troubled teen... she was a petty thief, yess, but some of her peers were much worse. Besides, she was only fifteen when she died. She never had the chance to do better. That should've given her at least some leeway? Right?? RIGHT???
But no, she ended up in hell.
When Y/n first arrived, she roamed the dangerous streets looking for shelter. Her face and slim goat-like stature was hidden by a torn cloak. She tried to be inconspicuous, discreet, low-key but she overlooked one thing... Our Y/n was ridiculously clumsy. So when she tripped over her own foot, her arm bumped into the light pole causing it to fall over onto a postal van. That in turn caused all the letters to fly out on the street. Some of the papers got carried up by the wind, eventually getting stuck onto the cord of a power pylon. Then there was fire, which spread onto a building...
Everyone's eyes were focused on her, including a set of hollow eye socket. It didn't take long for the demons that lived in the now burning building to storm her.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH!!!" One incredibly tall shark demon took the lead. "I'm going to rip fucking longs out of your chest and feed it to those CANIBAL FREAKS!!!"
At first Rosie didn't want to intervene. It really wasn't her style to get involved into random street fights, even though she found Y/n's disastrous display hilarious. But now that the loan shark insulted her people, she felt it was her duty to step in.
"Gentlemen, whatever might be the problem?" Rosie stepped in between you and the threatening hoard and flashed her sharp teeth to them. "You aren't bullying this poor newcomer, right?"
"Uhm, n-no miss, uhm Rosie. We're sorry." Before Rosie could open her mouth again, they ran back into the still burning building.
The overlord then turned to you. "Now darling, I take it you don't have a place to stay?"
Y/n shook her head.
"Then you can stay with me. I'm quite the powerful demon."
From that day on Y/n stayed with Rosie. During the years of living together, the two grew quite close. The overlord took over a motherly role for the teen. Everyone in cannibal town loved the unofficially adopted daughter of Rosie, they were even willing to put up with Y/n's clumsy nature.
Rosie truly loved her and when Y/n accidentally called her mom while helping out in the store, she was the happiest demoness in all of hell.
From that day on Rosie introduced Y/n as her daughter to anyone and everyone, even some of her fellow overlords.
Alastor and Y/n had met many times and often had tea together. The man often joked about how it's never boring with her. She had also met Zestial and Camilla a few times, but she wasn't as close with them as Alastor and Rosie.
One day Y/n had to make a trip to the Doomsday district. Rosie had, reluctingly, sent you to deliver a dress to a customer. She was all alone, her hand rested on the angelic steel knife on her belt. Rosie had given it to her so she could protect herself, just in case. Most people knew you were close to several overlords but you could never be more careful, especially Y/n.
Y/n was repeating her 'safety protocol' in her head.
Stay away from the walls
stay away from the poles
stay away from the demons
Stay away from the fire
Look where you step
Hold th-
She walked into something and fall back on her but. Looking up was a demon she recognized... An overlord, he was in charge of the Doomsday district.
"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!!!" This situation seemed awfully familiar.
Y/n clenched her shirt. "I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to."
"I DON'T CARE!!!"
The demon was menacingly towering over her. She crawled back and pulled herself up. Seeing as this wasn't going to be resolved with a pleasant conversation over tea, Y/n pulled out her knife. Her arms were shaking and the knife felt heavy in her hands.
"What do you think that toothpick is going to do?" He stepped forward and you stepped back. On and on until she hit the wall... OH no... she hit the wall...
Her elbow hit the random waterpipe on the side of the building and broke it. Water spewed out right into the overlord's face. The demon fell back. The water had landed on the street, causing a car to slip and running over the overlord and crashing into the wall. This in turn caused the satellite aerial to fall down and slightly bumped your back. The knife shot out of your hand right into overlord. The aerial send out a weird frequency.
"Spare me... Please..." The overlord gasped out.
Y/n was still shaken up. "What?... Uhm I don't plan on killing you." her voice sounded unsure, which the overlord took way different than you meant.
"Please!" He wailed. "I'm begging you... You can have all my souls, just please."
"I don't uhm..."
"PLEASE!!! TAKE THEM!!!"
"... Sure...??" She said very confused. "I'll take them." The two shook hands and immediately, Y/n could feel the pure power flowing through her veins. "Alright... Bye now?" As she stepped away a shadow covered the overlord. Before Y/n could look up a piano hit the demon, pushing the knife deeper in effectively killing him.
What the fuck just happened?
Everything was quiet. All eyes were on her, again... As always, only this time, she doubted she would be saved this time. She was prepared to be killed again... Only nobody did anything, no demons threatening to kill her, no stray bullets that got way to close to her head, not even another butterfly effect disaster... The demons around just stared.
One small demon with black eyes walked up to you... "What are you going to do to us?"
"What...?"
"What are you going to do to us?" He repeated. "You are the new overlord of the Doomsday district, you own our souls."
"I... I don't." She awkwardly grabbed at her sleeves. "I'm not an overlord."
"Yes, you are. You defeated the previous overlord of doom, took over his souls and territory, you became an overlord." Y/n stayed silent at this. "How about we talk in private?" He took her into a smaller building nearby, away from all prying eyes. "Let's start over. I'm Piper. You own my soul." The small demon introduced himself.
"Uhm... Y/n, and I'm no overlord. Overlords are like scary, like WHA!" She made grabby gestures with her hands. "And BOE! I'm anything but that."
Piper looked at her like she had just grown another head. "How about this? I'll keep your territory in control while you think this over a bit? And in turn, you'll keep me in high up in the social latter here."
Her mouth was dry. "... Deal..?" She was so confused.
From that day on Piper took care of the Doomsday district for her. Y/n never went to Rosie about this. She always wanted to keep her daughter safe and would be so mad to find out she got into trouble again... At least that's what Y/n convinced herself.
Even though Piper took care of most of the problems in the Doomsday district, word got around of the new overlord of disasters; a terrifying force of nature that shouldn't be reckoned with. So of course there were demons that wanted to challenge her. Every other day y/n needed to sneak out of Cannibal town to 'fight' these challengers. See 'fight' as in accidentally defeating them.
Y/n was filing her bag with a cloak and a mask she picked up to hide her identity when a knock came from her door.
"Y/n darling! It's me and Alastor." Rosie opened the door and summoned a table. "Please sit down, we want to talk to you."
She sat down in the Victorian style chair, but not before stumbling a bit.
"Little lamb, your mother is worried about you." Alastor broke the silence.
"Deary, you've been sneaking out a lot and staying away for longer and longer and when you come home you're exhausted-" Rosie took a deep breath "- what I'm trying to say is that you can talk to me if something's wrong... You know that right?" Her cheeks were droopy, a frown plastered on her porcelain face, it made Y/n's stomach turn.
"I'm fine, mom. There is no need to worry about me." She lied.
Alastor's eyebrows down, almost like he wanted to frown, but he still had that giant smile on his face. "Are you sure? If somebody is bothering you, we don't mind serving them for tonight's dinner. Hahaha." He joked, underneath, however, he was nervous. The Radio demon had grown quite fond of her and, knowing how clumsy she could be, he couldn't help but worry.
"No, one is bothering me... Thank you for offering though." At this point, Y/n had grown used to the cannibalistic tendencies of the people around her and so shrugged Alastor's joke off.
Rosie had a bad feeling about this. "Can you at least tell us where you've been sneaking of to?"
Shit
Y/n didn't have excuse for this. "J-just some friends... I.. I didn't want them to be scared off, so I didn't tell them about you. I'm sorry mom." Tears filled her eyes, she didn't want to lie to her. Rosie had done so much for her... She was planning on giving this whole being an overlord up anyway, there was no reason for Y/n to tell the truth now. It'll be like it never happened and then she can go back to her normal life with her mom.
Rosie stared into her cup. "Alright deary, but please make sure to be careful. Genuine friends are rare in hell."
"Thanks mom." Y/n stood up again and left the imperium, through the front door this time.
Alastor squinted his eyes, following your silhouette. Something was wrong, you were lying. He could feel it... But this was Rosie's responsibility, so he should leave it up to her. "She is lying."
"I know but if she isn't ready to talk about it, then I'll wait."
"On a different note, did you hear that the Doomsday district has a new overlord." Alastor took a sip from his 'Oh, Deer' mug. "They've been defeating demon after demon. I've been meaning to meet them for my radio show, would you like to come with me?"
Y/n was walking down the street to the Doomsday district. I should've just told Rosie the truth. She thought. But she had panicked and lied, only making it harder for herself.
Stepping into the same, small building where Piper first dragged her off too, Y/n put on her overlord disguise.
"You didn't break anything, right?" Piper asked, dressed in a brand-new suit. "I don't want to fix the sewerage again."
"It went fine!" She put up her thumb, before knocking over a chair that landed on a vase, breaking it in two thousant pieces. "Sorry."
Y/n and Piper walked around the district for a while, more so to let the demons know that the overlord of disaster was still around and that they were close with Piper. She caused chain reactions all around her, letting people know she got her title for a reason... Not her fault the denizens of hell took it the wrong way.
The two were rounding the corner when a familiar set came into view... What were Rosie and Alastor doing here? Y/n's panic only grew once she realised Alastar was trying to get her attention. Did they recognize her? What was happening?
As the two overlords came closer and closer, Y/n ducked into an alleyway and seemingly disappeared~
The dumpster wasn't Y/n's first choice of hiding place but it was the only one she had.
Piper was left alone on the burning streets with two dangerous overlords heading straight for him.
"Where did she go?" The woman, who Piper recognized to be the cannibal overlord, asked. "I swore she was just here."
"And what relation do you have with this new overlord, my incredibly short fellow." The second man Piper knew all too well. The terrifying Radio demon. "I was hoping to speak to her."
"Ah, I- I'm incredibly sorry... B-but the disaster overlord doesn't like dealing with overlord stuff, so she makes me represent." Piper sputtered.
"I see, but you see I want to speak to the REAL overlord. Not some pathetic representative." Dials appeared in Alastor's eyes and strange symbols started floating around. "GOT THAT."
"YES!"
"Lovely, then you can set up an audience for me. How does Friday sound?"
"Perfect, Friday at 5 p.m."
"Great, I can't wait to meet her." The two overlords went on their merry way again through the streets of Doomsday district.
Friday came around and nothing. Alastor had waited for twenty minutes, yet there was no sight of the disaster demon or her little pet. This was rich, never before was the overlord stood up like this. Who would dare to waste his time?! Alastor's stature as well as his antlers grew. That day there was a very horrifying broadcast and Y/n was at home with Rosie. She had to admit she almost peed her pants when Alastor openly threatened her on the radio broadcast...
There was no way she could come clean now. From that day on, you didn't show your overlord self once. Always letting Piper deal with everything.
That was until he came running to you, a letter in hand. It was an invitation to an overlord meeting, one she wouldn't be allowed to send Piper to. At first she didn't want to go, but Piper thought that would be a surefire way to piss off even more overlords. She had to go.
That's how she ended up, dressed in her cloak and mask, in front of an office building in Carmilla's circle of the pentagram. Stepping into the building the place was quiet, no one was around... Was this a trap? Y/n continued on the conference room, although more cautious. Room 666.
Everyone was already there. Were you supposed to come early?
"Disaster demon, glad you could join us." Carmilla spoke first. "We weren't sure you would show up anymore."
Y/n kind of shrugged trying her best to hide her voice.
"How rude, this new generation of overlords ought to know their place. Don't you think so Zestial?" Alastor commented half-jokingly.
"Yes, I must agree." The oldest overlord answered.
You wobbly sat down in your seat, but in doing so breaking the seat. A metal leg shot out to Vox, who protected himself. It ricocheted to the chandelier, which luckily kept hanging. Unluckily though, one of the more heavy ornaments fell down onto the table. It broke in two.
With each sound and broken item, Y/n hugged herself more and more until she resembled more of an hedgehog than a goat. She felt incredibly awkward, tears came out of her eyes. "I'm sorry."
"I'M SORRY!!!! YOU ALMOST BROKE MY SCREEN AND DESTROYED THE CONFERENCE ROOM AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS SORRY?!!!" Vox screamed, he was about to launch over the broken table but Alastor stopped him.
"Not a step closer my pal." Alastar's horns grew, showing that he was serious in protecting the newest overlord.
"There is only one demon in the entire universe who could create such a mess." Rosie spoke to herself. "Y/n is that you?" Rosie almost couldn't keep herself from smirking when she removed her mask.
"Yes... I-"
"Alright, everyone out this meeting is over!" Carmilla said. The demons left but only with some push. "Not you three."
They were all looking at you, Carmilla, Zestial, Alastor and Rosie, waiting for an explanation.
"Be- Before you get mad at me, this was an accident."
"I'm not mad about my conference room, now explain." Carmilla's eyes stayed focused on her, like lion waiting for its prey.
"I don't just mean the conference room, this was an accident." Y/n points to herself. "I didn't mean to become an overlord. It just kind of happened and I thought you would be mad at me and then I dug myself into a deeper hole, and now I'm here dressed like this embarrasing myself in front of everyone." The tears that had been slowly building up, started flowing.
"Oh deary." Rosie stood up and gave you a big hug. "I could never be mad at you. I just wish you would've told me. We can work this out together, besides this means you have the power to protect yourself. You don't know how worried I was if you would ever find yourself in a sticky situation alone."
"Thanks mom." Y/n hugged her back.
"If I may interrupted your lovely bonding time, but how exactly did you 'accidentally' defeat the previous overlord?" Alastor asked.
"Oh, I didn't defeat him." She explained. "He got runover by a car, then he decided to give me all his souls and a piano dropped on him."
"Excuse me?"

Warnings: yandere, lack of proof reading (sorry), collars, pet-play, drugs, manipulation, hinting nsfw, beating someone up, dead animal, wedding, hidden camera, (if theres anything missing please do tell me)
~~~~~
Riddle
Riddle has been planning something for you before February even started, probably before new year too. He understand that he doesn't really have a nurturing touch, thanks to his mom, like the others do. But that wouldn't stop him from trying his best to make you feel special.
He'll ask you to have tea with him and if you happen to be distracted by "other matters." he doesn't mind using his unique spell and pull you around by the collar, like a dog.
"its very rude to not pay attention to the person that invited you out.."
~~~~~
Trey
As a vice house warden, he understands that you'll be busy. not just Crowley giving you either impossible or pointless work, or the fact that every boy from each and every dorm are falling to their feet just for you on valentines day, hoping you'll notice them.
Trey knows he's not like some flash students here but he knows what he's good at and doesn't need to try too hard like some other desperate students.
"Hey, perfect! i made you something, your favorite, with a little personal Trey touch~ you should probably eat it all now. Before Grim does."
~~~~~
Cater
Cater is pretty good at getting your attentions. Magicless other worlder, he just has to invite you to something outside of NRC and then watch as your eyes sparkles. Kind of reminds him of a little kid that just need extra attention which he's happy to do.
He'll show you cool different places, shops and cafes. All these cool places are picture perfect and he just loves dressing up with you. from an outside eye, it almost looks like you 2 are dating~
"Perfect! Look at this! we should totally take a picture here with our treats! Say "Happy Valentines Day~!"
~~~~~
Ace
You were very confused on why Ace has been grumpy all day. you tried everything to make him feel better but nothing. You bought him food, drinks, candy from Sam's. nothing.
After the day was over, you made it back to the dorm and Ace decided to follow you back? you tried to ask him what's wrong buy he swiftly grabbed you and rush to your room!
"All day has been a pain.. everyone gawking at you. All the meaningless gifts. All of it! Tonight, you're gonna make it up to me by letting me sleep with you!"
~~~~~
Deuce
Deuce wants to turn a new leaf and doesn't want to look back at his delinquent side every again. he's a new deuce now, a student that's just trying to get good grades and trying to be well respected. but old habits die hard.
Any and every time some one even looks in your way, he's sending daggers at them. and if they don't get the hide, he'll tell you that he needs to use the restroom and for you to stay where you are until he's back. he'll be quick...
"sorry it took me a while, there was.. a long line... wanna get lunch now?"
~~~~~
Leona
Leona, normally, doesn't care for this holiday. his brother always ask him if he's "stolen any hearts" this year? its always the same answer. but this year was different.
For once, he gotten some valentines gift. he remembered, not because he was eavesdropping, he just sleeping and you and your friends were talking about valentines gifts. how you had too many and how you might have to do several trips to bring them back to your dorm...
when you looked at your pile of valentines, instead of valentines, you saw sand.. and a plush lion with a card, flowers, and chocolate..
~~~~~
Ruggie
Ruggie cant really communicate with his grandma that much, cause they're not in a position to have phones but he does send letters now and then.
Each letter has there, 'how are you?'s to their 'are you taking care of yourself?'s. Now his letters to his grandma had this mysterious person, and how 'he's feels his heart flutter whenever they're near.' there also might be some 'I'm worried that I'm not good enough' he was very happy to get this letter back
"don't worry, sweetheart~ you should bring them over and ill give them a good talking to."
~~~~~
Jack
Jack tried everything to stay away from you all day. You're smell was just too intoxicating for him. Jack didn't want to risk spending time with you and his instinct...
he could tell, the other beastmen felt the same way. So all day, he kept his distance while also putting other beastmen in their place when they get a little too handy with you. luckily you didn't notice a thing.
But when you approached him, he couldn't just push you away. you mean too much to him. he doesn't want you to see him like.. a monster.
"Hi, prefect. how's you're day..?"
~~~~~
Azul
Azul tried to just charm you with his charisma alone, no shady actions, no "read the fine print." it seem like he was on his best behavior all day. it made you feel uncomfortable for a hot while.. but after a few hours you gotten use to it.
It was all in Azul's plan. instead of flatly telling you or tricking you to form a contact with him. he was gonna show you that you could rely on him, to trust him. so when you do sign a contact with him, you're guard will be so low, you wouldn't ever dare look at the fine print
"Prefect? Would you like to stop by Mosta lounge for lunch? there's a special i know you'll love. oh! its on the house."
~~~~~
Jade
before valentines day, Jade asked you to go out with him on a hilling trip. you'll find great mushrooms and if you find any 'shiny treasure' you could keep it as payment. you felt bored at the time and went with it. it was pretty fun. Jade taught you about wildlife and camping and you just enjoyed being out and about, anywhere than Grim's messes was a fresh air.
But on one of the day's out, Jade fell and hurt himself! it'll take a while for you guys to head back so you both decided to just wait until it heals, or when jade is "strong enough" to head back.
"aww.. prefect, you're too sweet for taking care of me~"

Floyd
Floyd has been a pin to your side all day. every time you were just talking to your friends or in line for lunch or whatever, Floyd comes out of nowhere, picks you up and runs away from your friends. it doesn't help that his long legs gives him a big advantage. the fact you cant struggle that much and the fact that you're friends cant keep up with Floyd...
When he finally gets alone time with you he just wants to play or just stare at you... its a mix really. sometimes he'll tell you he wants to show you a trick he learned from the basketball club. sometimes he just wants to walk around with you on his shoulders. but one things for sure, everyone is staying far away from both of you...
"Shrimpy! look at this! it kind of reminds me of you.. cause you're smol~"
~~~~~
Kalim
Lets admit it, when Kalim falls in love, he falls HARD. Like he would spoil his love rotten if he could. But he knows that you wouldn't allow him to do so, cause you're just too sweet.
Kalim loves to watch you work sometimes, you're so hard working even though you're in a situation that he couldn't imagine. Far from home with no contacted to your families, that's terrible. but he'll show you that he could help solve all your problems. But he doesn't want to overwhelm you so he'll start small.
"HEY PREFECT!!! Look what i got you! Golden bangles! they have our initials on them too! Come on, try them on! I'll help."
~~~~~
Jamil
Jamil could easily used his unique spell on you but with it being Valentines day plus every student's having their eyes on you, he cant do it without getting caught. So, he'll have have to charm you with the next best thing, food.
He understand the for some people, food is their love language. He wasn't sure if that's you but he does know that you love his food. so a win is a win.
He'll make you not only your favorite foods but his own too. As a "get to know me" dish. Watching you enjoy his hard work, was like breathing fresh air. he loves your presence.
"here prefect, you can have more. i made it for you after all. hmm..? oh repayment? just repay me by spending the day with me.. just me."
~~~~~
Vil
Without warning, on a weekend, Vil grabs you and tells you get to dress. he's taking you out. You couldn't really say no to him so off you went.
He took you to store to store to store. Each store had either something he liked or something he didn't. did you have a say in anything? no.
It felt weird a bit but overtime that feeling went away and you were left with giving Vil a mini show fashion show... with just you and him...
~~~~~
Rook
Saying Rook loved you was an understatement. he loved your hair, your eyes, your walk, your demeaner, everything. On one of his strolls by your dorm, he noticed that you were taking care of a stray animal in your backyard.
You left food for it, you made a spot it could rest, you had a whole set up. even though you don't have a lot of money, you're golden heart shined through. He felt like cupid just struck him through the heart. He would like to do the same to you...
so on Valentines day, you found a box at your door step. inside the box... was your stray friend's lifeless body...
~~~~~
Epel
Epel's family loves to send him letters, he at least gets one every week. they're all mostly asking if he needs anything or family updates, etc. But now talks about you his letter. last time he visited his family, they kept asking about you.
Epel feeling the pressure of his family, told them that you and him were together and how you had "other things to take care of" and that's why you're not with him. they seem to calm down and jumped to another family topic. Now Epel has to convince you to "pretend" hopefully don't for long, that he was your boyfriend for his family.
"umm... hey prefect? i have a favor to ask you..?"
~~~~~
Idia
Idia normally doesn't care of any holidays, in general. he mainly does them for his brother or whenever a game was having a seasonal event. but he couldn't say he had someone special to "sit by the fireplace with him with hot chocolate" or "having a picnic out in spring" or even "being or having a valentine"... He didn't mind it...
which what he'll normally say, until he saw you with your pile of valentines day gifts! augh.. why do you have to be so popular?!
With a lot of pushing from ortho, he finally gave you your gift. it was a blue teddy that looked like hades. You didn't have to know about the hidden camera and mic in it. you could just thank him by sleeping with it~
~~~~~
Malleus
Malleus couldn't really celebrate valentine's day.. he's a prince of Briar Valley, after all. Having him give a valentines day gift can be interpreted as a marriage proposal. that will look every bad for Briar Valley. But the heart wants what it cant have~
His heart belonged to you and he would gladly throw away his position as a prince for you. or... he could just ask you to marry him?
He didn't want anything to come to harm you because of him, so in secret, he made you a wedding dress/suit. Until his graduation, he'll ask you to marry him and then he'll pick you up and off to Briar Valley, ruling together~
~~~~~
Lilia
Lilia loves a good trip. So many places to see, so many things to do. He wants to take you to see it all. why stay at NRC and just reading about other places when you could go out with him. he may be older but he could still protect you with all he has and he'll still be able to show you a fun time. Oh maybe he should show you how to fight?
He's had his eyes on you since you came to the school, you were so strange but you are never boring. something always happened with you around but you all ways find a way out of it. you're, well..... perfect.
"Prefect! guess who got 2 tickets to Shaftland! why just two? for me and you silly. come on, get your things. I'm gonna show you so much more of this twisted wonderland"
~~~~~
Silver
You understand that Silver is just a tried guy. so you do everything in your power to make sure he's okay and not gonna get hurt. After a while of this, you've noticed that Silver's holds on you, when ever you go and move him to a safer place, is more forceful than normal? You just told yourself that it was just sleepy silver but it doesn't seem like silver noticed and you didn't mind.
Whenever Silver was awake, you noticed that he's always just a call away. he wasn't over your shoulder or anything but you did see him more often than you usual did... were you thinking too much on this..?
"hey prefect? i got you some treats from Sam's... happy valentines day~"
~~~~~
Sebek
Sebek is loud. that is not an understatement. bet Sebek probably knows that too. he often uses it to tell other to "respected Malleus." but today he was oddly quiet? you tried to ask him if everything was okay, he said he's fine. Also whenever the other first years asked, he'll snap but not at his normal loud tone?
Without you realizing, Sebek was actually fighting an inner demon of his. Humans, like yourself, were so small and weak. yes, Silver is human too but he's a trained human, you weren't.
He sometimes wonders... how easy would it be to over-power yo-
~❦~❦~❦~
Che'nya
When Che'nya first appear in front of you with just his head, you, ace, and deuce all screamed. he loved it~ but your little squeak whenever you get scared, gets his blood pumping. like the rush you get when you catch you first mouse~
He started to visit more often then before, but not just to say hi to trey and riddle. but to spook their little perfect. a pick to the side here. a blowing into your ear there.
He just cant keep his hands off you! the best part, he doesn't have plans on even telling you it was him.
~~~~~
Neige
but to Vil's dismay, Neige kept bugging him about you! the mysterious manager~ Vil got so tired on it that he just pointed him to your dorm. Which Neige was happy to run to see you.
When he saw you place, he's heart broke a little. how could someone so lovely as you, live in a dump like this? He found you out in the back yard cleaning. it kind of reminded him of himself, run down building taking care of others. you were perfect for him!
"Heya! perfect, right? i was wondering, would you like to go on a date with me?"
~~~~~
Rollo
Rollo will not caught walking into THAT school. but that wont stop him from appreciating you. Whether it takes a few days to a few years, Rollo swears to himself that he will save you from the hell hole your in.
but in the mean time he'll send you some flowers and a gift basket filled with Fleur City treats and fun toys that you liked when you last visit. if only you were in that school and you were in his, he'll show you so much and treat you much better than those.. "monsters."
"If though I'm not there, i hope you enjoy my gift. maybe next time you could visit again and I'll give you a personal tour."
~❦~❦~❦~
you can see this as platonic or romantic
~~~~~
Crowley
Crowley is a very strange bird man? says he cares for you then runs away with his feather tail in between his legs. Or when he just hands you work when he could easily do them himself. He's a very strange man so when he was insisting on you to stay by his side all day? it confused you.
like he'll have you in his office and when you tell him you needed to go. he'll "get sad" and say "awww.. i guess ill just power through all this paper work"
you thought he just wanted you to do the paper work (that you could do) so you did. you didn't figure out that maybe he just wanted you by his side so no one could see/ give you anything for valentines day.
~~~~~
Crewel
Crewel is a very classic man. so when he asked you to help him with some of his designs, you were quite confused. why not ask Vil or anyone from pomefiore? nonetheless, you helped as best as you can. giving your input on designs, telling him what you thought looked nice, getting materials for him, etc.
After you helped him make a set, he asked you to model them for him. he "wanted it on an actual person than a motionless mannequin."
You didnt know that he was doing this so you wouldnt be laying down with dogs with fleas today. Crewel thinks all the boys in this school are just crazy the fact its valentines day. so having you help him was just killing 2 bird with one stone.
~~~~~
Trein
Trein's cat, Lucius, seemed fine to you. but you couldn't say much when Trein asked you to help him look after his beloved pet. plus a cat that doesn't call you Hedgeman felt nice. a cat that was just a normal cat, that can understand you and talk but you don't understand it...
On Valentines Day, Trein tells you about his wife and what they do together on this day. It was really sweet to hear an old man talk about his love, plus his life too.
It felt nice and you enjoyed the time you spend together. you still couldnt tell if Lucius was actually sick or if he was just winning about food...
~~~~~
Vargas
You had no idea what came over Vargas. But when it was gym time and there was any partner exercises, it seems like he'll give the poor guys, that asked you to be partners, more hard exercises.
it could be in your head but after you're done, you see the poor student crying for squats or something? Will he be okay?
"oh, don't worry about him. he's been slacking off recently so its just catching up with him. HAHA!"
~~~~~
Sam
Sam is quite busy on Valentines day. a lot of students ask for valentines day cards, bears, to flowers. some even get the custom order. with those custom orders, he realized a lot of them were for you... he might not be able to do anything.. but his friends might help.
when same gives the students the valentines day gifts, he has a shadow follow them and when they're not looking. the shadow destroys the gift and runs away.
it kills two bird with one stone. they cant give the perfect gifts and Sam still gets the money. oohh he loves what he does~
Hi Jade! I love your writings so much. I often keep them as a treat for my way to work - only if I can be patient.
There is a big thunderstorm right now and I rememberd how when I was little my dad took me in his arms and went to the window to show me I don't have to be afraid of a thunderstorm. That got me thinking about Eddie and Roan. I can really picture them doing this. And r witnesses, maybe before the proposal (somehow I mentally devide their timeline in bevor and after the proposal and moving houses).
I don't know if you would want to write something like that. Perfectly fine if you don't.
hi my love, thank you so much for your request!! i hope you like it! eddie and roan —eddie comforts roan during a thunderstorm. 2k, fem!reader
Eddie knows without looking out of the window that the crunching sound outside is the tires of your car as you park. A slamming follows, then your footsteps hurried in the rain bumping up the stairs. You open the door, ushering in a hail of rain and your funny awkward smile he adores so much, like you're surprised to find him in his own home.
"Hi, sweetheart," you say, rain rivulets racing down your cheeks, "it's raining bad."
"Yeah?" he asks, semi-serious.
He's feeling slovenly today (and pretty much every other day too, though he's allowing himself the indulgence of listening to his wants for once) and so he remains laying down on the couch, but he reaches out with two grabbing hands for you, encouraging you in.
You frown at his teasing, slipping out of your shoes and your coat, and letting them fall as you walk toward him. He knows you aren't so rude as to leave your stuff lying around. You're as eager to see him today as he is to see you, because you've been separated for a few days; you've been at work and your own home, Eddie at Roan's art and crafts summer workshop, both slightly too busy to come and see one another without causing upheaval.
You walk into his arms, which is to say you kneel on the couch and then collapse like a dry sand castle into his chest. You're a grown woman with enough weight to make him groan at your sudden landing. Eddie wouldn't change a thing about you, including your roughness, and he takes your hug in stride.
"I missed you so much," you say, kissing his jaw.
You hadn't meant to kiss his jaw; you go in for a corrective peck against his lips, your smile sticky with clear balm and smelling of oranges, peaches. Sweet, citrusy. Eddie licks his lips when you pull away and beams at the transferred flavour.
"Ew," you murmur, wrinkling your nose even as you smile.
"You taste nice, what can I say?" Eddie looks at you through one eye. "You actually got prettier while you were away, didn't you? I missed you so much I made you prettier."
"You have freaky mind powers," you say agreeably, pressing another quick kiss to his cheek. He must shine in the light from all the spread gloss.
"It's really raining out there. Did you get that leak fixed last time?" you ask.
Eddie puts an arm behind his head and looks up at the ceiling. "Ah, she'll be okay. It can't get that bad again, can it?"
You try to cover his mouth and prevent his jinx, but it's too late. Within five minutes, the rain has turned to a hammering spatter against the roof and ceiling of Eddie's home, and the windows shake in their frames as the wind howls.
You ease to one side of Eddie to take your weight off of his chest and the two of you peer out at the quickly darkening sky, perturbed but nothing anymore severe at the suddenness of the weather.
"Maybe that's why it's been so warm," he suggests, trailing a fingertip down your back. "It was waiting to break."
"The heat?" You rub your cheek against his shoulder, and take a sneaky breath in that Eddie pretends he doesn't notice.
"Isn't that what it is, the pressure? Weather systems? Cyclones?"
"Sorry, handsome, buzzwords won't turn me into a weatherologist." You put your hand on his cheek and rub the pale, stubbly skin beneath it with an adoring thumb. "I bet you're right. Do you have enough stuff to survive if we get rained in for the weekend?"
"Sure. Got a whole crock pot of stew going, with tiny carrots and pearl onions and the works. Sautéed, by the way."
"Sounds delicious," you say, smiling down at him like he's hung the moon. He'll never, ever get sick of the sweetness with which you see him. "Can I try some?"
"It should be done now if you want me to fix you a bowl."
You climb off of him as carefully as you're able to, so you almost jab him in the crown jewels. You're sorry kiss makes up for it, and better the little sound of happiness you make from the kitchenette after your first taste of stew. You eat another spoonful quickly, and Eddie's content to let you do as you like as long as you keep smiling like that.
He's thinking Roan's been suspiciously quiet for a while when his daughter miraculously appears. She looks exactly like him, though Roan has a slightly different nose. Her dark eyebrows are pulled down and in, her little pink lip pouted out.
"What's up?" he asks gently, always sorry when she's unhappy. He clambers up into a sitting position and holds out his arms. She rushes forward, burying her face in his KISS shirt without a sound. "Ro, what's wrong?"
He pet's her hair out of her face. She whispers something, but Eddie can't hear her. He ducks his head and whispers too. "What's wrong? I can't hear you, you're so quiet. Shout at me, please."
"I don't like the storm."
Eddie's eyebrows rise in realisation. "Ah, I know. Sorry, baby, I should've come to see if you were okay, you don't like the loud noise, huh?"
"It flashed, dad."
"Did we have lightning?"
"It was really bright, and then the sky cracked."
Eddie rubs the short stretch of her back, her grubby t-shirt bunching under his hand. He decides that's as good a distraction as any he'll get and hugs Roan to his chest as he stands. "Let's put pyjamas on. Wanna say hi to Y/N first?"
Roan perks up when she sees you. You're caught red-handed, still standing at the kitchen eating spoons of stew over your hand, but neither Munson cares. You waylay them with cheek kisses and offer to plate up dinner. Eddie things it's a great idea.
"Before she eats it all," he murmurs to Roan cheekily.
You harrumph, but the emphasis is lost on account of your full mouth. Eddie's kidding, but if you did want to eat that whole crock pot he'd let you, he likes you that much. Or, he'd let you given you save enough for Roan. She loves loves loves pearl onions.
He wrangles her into new pyjamas and brushes out her hair, but Eddie's affection and hugs can't hide bellowing rain and thunder, and by the time he's braided her hair out of her face in loose pigtails she's shaking in his lap.
"It's really scary, is it?" he asks.
"It's so loud," she says, her voice tenuous as a string of silk. Eddie senses a bout of tears approaching. "Daddy, I don't like it, I want it to go away."
Eddie bundles her up into his arms again and carries her slowly back into the living room. You frown at them as they pass the kitchenette, concerned by Roan as she hides her face in Eddie's front.
He pats her back, swaying her from side to side. Eddie can't make the rain stop, and he can't quieten thunder, but he can comfort her. He can explain it so it feels less huge and out of reach.
"Baby," he says, approaching the window. "Have a look. It's okay, I promise, just have a look."
Roan brings her head up reluctantly.
"See all that? It's not scary if you don't want it to be." Rain hits the window, the sound dulled by walls but still abrasive. He turns his body so Roan can see the huge dark clouds above them. "I know the clouds are scary because they're dark, but they're dark because they're full of so much water. The water comes out, and the clouds go white again, that's all it is."
"What about the banging?" she asks, wide eyes glassy as she peers between the window and her dad's patient smile.
"You know lightning, the big white flash? The lightning moves through the cloud so fast that it makes a loud noise, but it's not mean. Think about if me and you were running real fast down the hallway. Our footsteps would be loud, but we'd be having so much fun we don't think it's bad."
Roan looks out at the rainy road and field outside of the trailer window. She's pouting.
"Like a sponge?" she asks quietly.
"Want to go look?"
"Outside?" she asks, shaking her head vehemently. "No, dad."
"No, in the sink! In the sink, I'll show you."
Eddie carries her to the kitchen. You're looking at him with hearts for eyes, and he has no idea what it's for but he sends you a joking wink. He props her on the counter, his hand on her knees to stop any accidental slipping, and passes her the sponge.
"Alright, RoRo, you have the sponge and hold it under the water." He flicks on the cold top. Roan holds it under the water, watching intensely as it starts to darken. "Now squeeze it, all the colour goes away."
She squeezes it. Cold water splashes the side of the empty sink basin and it sounds loud in the relative quiet of the kitchen. "It's like the thunder," she says.
"Exactly!" He rubs her little shoulder. "Wanna try the sponge again?" he asks.
It's simple, but it helps her calm down, and his explanation is seemingly good enough. Roan doesn't suddenly start to enjoy the awful banging of thunder or the rain as it batters the metal roof, but she isn't petrified to tears anymore, and after a nice warm dinner she turns too lethargic to worry.
You and Eddie sit together on the couch, Roan in his lap, dozing. You've changed into the pyjamas you keep in his top drawer, the fabric soft against his naked arm. You don't have a designated drawer and Eddie kind of loves it, all your things mixed in with his like you live here with them. You should. He's asked you twice, but you've turned him down gently each time, unafraid to be be honest about how you feel: I love you, Eddie, and I don't want us to rush into things, don't want to be the evil stepmom stealing her space and her dad.
One at a time, then, he'd joked. First we'll get married.
"You did a really amazing job, earlier," you say, letting your head fall onto his shoulder. Looking up at him through your eyelashes, you've never looked so pretty, not ever.
"When?" he asks, voice warmed by affection, a stickying fondness like the word has been coated in honey.
"When you were explaining the rain to her. You're always patient. You're just as lovely as she is."
He stares at you for too long. Seconds upon seconds, his eyes tracing the cuve of your nose, the bow of your top lip, and the softness of your jaw, up to your eyes again.
"You're the nicest person I ever met," you say.
"Hey, don't go spreading that around," he warns, faux-fierce.
You're answering laugh is like silver sewn into the air, one slow loop of your breath at a time. Eddie can't believe it, this life, his girl in his lap and his love on his arm, warm and cosy and waiting out the storm without any worries at all.
"Luckiest guy on earth," he says, kissing your hairline tenderly. "That's me."
"Luckiest, kindest, prettiest–"
"If you're gonna do this all night me and you are gonna have a problem."
You burst out laughing. Roan rouses on your chest, joining in on instinct, her giggles tiny and tired. "What's funny?" she asks hoarsely.
Eddie scoots forward in his seat to grab her drink.
"We're just happy," he explains.
Super, uber happy, even with the bad weather.
A small high school reunion was underway, hosted by Lee Haechan at a fried chicken restaurant he had opened some time ago. Even amidst his hectic commitments, Rejun made sure with his managers that his schedule would be done by the evening. After all, he couldn’t miss this occasion. Not when this was his chance to see her again.
He discreetly entered the restaurant, donning a mask and a black cap to maintain his anonymity until he had fully entered the premises.
Suddenly, he heard the voice of his old friend exclaim, “There he is! The global K-pop sensation!”
Renjun chuckled bashfully as a wave of applause and cheers echoed Haechan's proclamation. Taking a seat, he scanned the room, searching for a familiar face among his former classmates.
“She should be here soon,” Haechan whispered, his hand resting on Renjun’s shoulder as a glass of soju was poured for him. Renjun nodded and allowed himself to unwind for the time being.
After a few drinks, the restaurant's front doors chimed, and Renjun swiftly turned his head to witness the entrance of two individuals. And there she stood, nearly everything about her appearance was the same since high school. Her hair remained long, now adorned with a reddish hue. The melancholy that once clouded her eyes was replaced with a sparkle he never saw in her before. The smile he loved so much hadn’t changed at all. Yet, he knew that smile on her face wasn’t because of him. But it was because of the man whose gentle hand rested on her back.
Renjun couldn't deny that the sight caused a subtle ache within him, breaking his heart a little. He guessed he deserved this feeling though. Especially considering he was the one who had broken hers in the first place.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered the first time she laid eyes on him, a memory that stood apart from his initial introduction as a transfer student from Jilin, China, at the beginning of high school. She had been rather inattentive back then. This was that one moment when she truly noticed him.
In her oblivious state, she hadn't even realized they lived in the same neighborhood until that day. As was her usual routine, she got off the bus, and there he was, standing at the crosswalk.
Initially, she was about to walk straight to her house without a second thought. But her steps halted when she witnessed an elderly lady struggling with several heavy grocery bags. It was evident that the weight was taking a toll on her. Before she could rush to her assistance, the boy beat her to it.
“Halmeoni,” he spoke kindly, offering a warm smile, “Let me help you.”
He gently took the bags from the lady's hands, and the woman chuckled, tenderly pinching his cheek. She observed them strolling down the street, engaged in cheerful small talk. Their smiles were infectious, and she found herself smiling too.
As they completed their short trip across the street and exchanged farewells, he seemed to sense someone's gaze upon him. Before she could react, their eyes met. In that instant, her brain went into a mild panic, and she turned away, hurrying home without looking back.
No, it wasn't as though she had fallen head over heels for him on that day. Such emotions didn't come easily to her, it seemed. She had simply become more aware of his existence. Unfortunately, she had never mustered the courage to strike up a conversation with the boy. Despite attending the same school, she was absorbed in her studies and lacked the confidence to approach him. The art of making friends was something she had never been adept at.
She didn’t bother to say anything to him in school and she didn’t expect him to either. But for some reason, knowing that bothered her. She couldn't quite explain the feeling. After all, she didn't know him beyond that one act of kindness, even though she was sure it wasn't his first.
Little did she realize that this encounter had only marked the beginning of their story.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered the next day when he stepped into their homeroom. Their eyes met once more, a scene that could have been plucked from a cliché K-drama. For precisely three seconds, she maintained eye contact with him before her gaze dropped to her desk.
That was the day she finally recalled his name when the teacher called for attendance – Huang Renjun. If not for his introduction, she might have not realized he was Chinese. Partially because she had initially believed his last name to be Hwang. His Korean proficiency further blurred the lines, matching her own.
Each time Renjun spoke in class, she couldn't help but be impressed by his fluency. A classmate mentioned that he had taken Korean as an elective at his previous school.
Nonetheless, she didn't engage in much conversation with him in the early days of the school year, despite the fact that they shared a classroom nearly every day, with their desks not being too distant from each other. Their circles of friends were also closely-knit. Besides the few friends she had made at school, she rarely ventured to talk to anyone else.
However, she found herself unable to cease her contemplation of him. Occasionally, her gaze would stray from her textbook, and she'd spot the dark brown-haired boy a few desks ahead. A slight lean to the left allowed her to observe him diligently taking notes during the teacher's lectures.
Before Renjun, she had never really paid attention to boys. To this day, she remained uncertain about what exactly drew her to him. Perhaps it was his refined facial features, their shared artistic inclinations, or the way he displayed irritation and endearing cuteness when angered. It might have been the enchanting hums he produced while listening to songs from his playlist on their bus rides home.
Some might have labeled her an obsessive stalker, but anyone would have noticed the same subtle details if they had taken a second to observe him. Living in the same neighborhood and attending the same school merely facilitated this connection.
Renjun and she were so close, yet so far away at the same time.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered their first real encounter quite fondly. It occurred close to the second month of school when one of her friends attempted to persuade her into joining their study group.
“You should join us, (Y/n),” her friend said, trying to convince her for the nth time.
She nervously bit her lip and hesitated, “I don't know…”
Her study habits usually involved solitary efforts or the occasional study session with a single companion. The idea of meeting up with a group of unfamiliar faces didn't particularly appeal to her.
Furthermore, her friend mentioned that part of the reason for forming this study group was to create opportunities for getting closer to some of the cute and popular guys in their homeroom. She couldn't shake the feeling that they wouldn't be doing much actual studying.
“Can you at least come to one meeting?” her friend implored, holding up a single finger. “That's all I'm asking for!”
Reluctantly, she ended up agreeing because she didn’t want to disappoint her friend. After all, she knew that friend would never lead her into doing something crazy. Thus, she arrived at the cafe with the intention of sitting at the end of the table, where she could quietly focus on her studies and avoid interaction with the rest of the group as much as possible.
As much as she had hesitated about attending, she had always been an early bird when it came to events like this. Tardiness had always been one of her pet peeves. Little did she anticipate being one of the first to arrive.
To her luck, the one other person already present was him.
Her body froze as she entered the moment she saw Renjun seated at the empty table with his books spread out before him. He wore a light orange hoodie and round-shaped glasses. Her eyes shifted to the white sweatshirt she was wearing, and she habitually adjusted her own glasses, no longer self-conscious about dressing casually.
Noticing that he wasn't by himself anymore, Renjun's eyes met hers once more. It felt reminiscent of a few weeks ago, but she couldn't tell if he recognized her. Unlike the last time, she managed to resist the impulse to run away when he spoke first.
“Are you here for the study group too?” he inquired.
For some inexplicable reason, words failed to escape her lips, so she simply nodded in response.
Renjun’s smile put her at ease, “That's a relief. I was beginning to worry that I was pranked into coming here alone.”
“Oh, I see…” She awkwardly averted her gaze, focusing on her shoes, unable to maintain eye contact for more than a few seconds.
He gestured to the chair beside him, “Um— you can sit here if you want.”
Taking a deep breath, she composed herself before taking a seat. She did her best to collect her thoughts and not appear foolish.
“Thank you,” she murmured as she set her bag down.
Swiftly, she retrieved her homework, diverting her attention from the boy next to her. However, as she did so, her gaze accidentally met him once again. His smile was far warmer than she had imagined it to be.
"You're Kim (Y/n), right?"
“You know me?” The surprise must have been evident on her face because Renjun regarded her as if she had asked an obvious question.
“Of course. We’re in the same class, and I've seen you in my neighborhood a few times,” he explained. “How would I not know you?”
It dawned on her that she wasn't the only one who had noticed those coincidences that connected them. He had been aware of her existence all along. There was no reason for her to have felt invisible. Why had she entertained such thoughts before?
“Oh, right,” her eyes dropped to her homework in embarrassment.
Renjun chuckled and tapped his pencil on her notebook, “Did you understand the math homework?”
“Yeah, I think so,” she replied as she skimmed over the math problems they had to solve.
Math wasn't her strongest subject, but it wasn't her weakest either. The same could be said for her other classes. She excelled in any class related to the fine arts.
“I'm not sure when the others are going to get here,” Renjun remarked, “So do you want to work on this and check our answers together?”
“Oh— sure,” she said, picking up her pencil, relieved to finally engage in productive work. She had been worried that attending this gathering would be a waste of study time.
However, she and Renjun were both diligent students, sharing the same goal of completing their work as efficiently as possible.
Working together in a tranquil atmosphere, she started to relax. But, eventually, their friends began to arrive.
“Oh, you guys are here already!” the friend who had invited her exclaimed. She sighed, a tad disappointed that everyone was here now. Still, she concealed her frustration with a smile and waved at her friend.
The study group unfolded precisely as she had expected, with little actual studying being accomplished. Most of the group members engaged in chatter and jokes. Renjun and she, on the other hand, remained seated at the corner of the table, quietly working on their homework and occasionally helping each other if they encountered difficulties.
After about two hours, everyone started to disperse. It was already dark outside as she stepped out. Since they were both headed in the same direction, Renjun suggested they take the bus together. He gave the excuse that it would be dangerous for her to go home alone.
With rosy cheeks, she glanced down at her shoes and allowed him to accompany her to the bus stop. His actions reinforced her initial impression of Renjun as a kindhearted person.
Upon boarding the bus, few words were exchanged. Yet, the silence between them didn't feel as awkward as it had earlier. She gazed out of the bus window, watching as cars and buildings passed by. Occasionally, she noticed him stealing glances in her direction from the corner of her eye, and she hesitantly turned around once, only for him to quickly avert his gaze. Perhaps her initial interpretation had been mere wishful thinking.
Her attention returned to the window, and she couldn't help but smile, reflecting on the subtle shade of red that colored his cheeks. It was undeniably cute.
As they disembarked from the bus, Renjun scratched his head and avoided her gaze.
"I guess I'll see you at school on Monday?"
She slowly nodded, "Yeah."
"I guess I'll get going then."
Before she could watch him leave, she suddenly called out, “Wait!”
When he turned back to look at her, she smiled bashfully, “It was nice to meet you, Huang Renjun.” In return, he offered a smile just as warm as the first time.
“Same to you, Kim (Y/n).”
She remembered the change when she returned to school on Monday. Upon entering the classroom, Renjun warmly waved at her, and she shyly waved back before taking her seat. It felt peculiar to have someone other than Soojin greet her with such enthusiasm.
After their last class of the day, Renjun approached her desk with hesitation, inquiring whether she'd be interested in studying together more often. He mentioned that they got along well and he felt more comfortable studying with her rather than with the group from the previous day. The fact that Huang Renjun, whom she had never interacted with before, was extending this invitation felt unfamiliar.
“There's a library near the school where we can go,” he mumbled nervously, his confidence waning with each word.
In retrospect, she realized she should have declined at that moment, perhaps questioning why he wanted to spend time with her of all people. Turning him down then might have shielded her from the tangled web she was about to weave.
However, she couldn't resist a shy smile and accepted his invitation. Her rationale was that she preferred studying with one person over a large group, but also because she saw an opportunity to get to know the intriguing boy who had captured her curiosity.
Her hopes were met, as they began meeting at the library once a week to do homework or prepare for exams. Once a week quickly escalated to twice a week, and soon, they were seeing each other nearly every weekend.
Through those encounters, she learned quite a bit about Renjun, and she believed he was also getting to know her, to some extent. It would be a while before he truly understood her.
“Hey (Y/n),” he said one day, his tone laced with concern. “You're not usually this quiet. Are you okay?”
Lifting her head from her laptop, she met his worried expression, the first time she noticed how his chocolate brown eyes sparkled when the light hit just right. His soft gaze made her want to answer honestly, but she had grown accustomed to concealing her true feelings, even from herself. So, she responded with the same excuse she used whenever her friend posed that question.
“Oh, I'm... I'm just tired, that's all! I'm fine.”
He nodded and returned to his work without further inquiry, though she could sense his desire to probe deeper. Several such instances occurred between them, but she always held back, no matter how much she longed to reveal her true thoughts.
At times, she found herself wishing they hadn't crossed paths from the beginning.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered returning home each day, where her school life came to a pause and her personal life resumed. Upon entering through the front door, she was met by a towering stack of boxes and several others that crowded one end of the sofa. To any guest, it would appear as though they were in the middle of moving. However, they weren't. At least not at the time.
Ironically, despite her typically organized and minimalist lifestyle, she was no longer fazed by the clutter. Kicking off her well-worn sneakers and placing them on the shoe tray, she hung up her jacket and felt a wave of relief as she discarded her bag.
She picked up her bag once more, intending to carry it upstairs to her room. Just as she reached the top of the stairs, a voice interrupted her.
“Kim (Y/n). You don't even say hi to your mother?”
She held back from scoffing as her mother walked past her. Shaking her head, she continued to ignore her, as was her usual practice, and pushed open the door to her room. Her bag fell to the floor in the corner by her desk.
There was nothing particularly noteworthy about her room. She owned only the essentials: a bed, a dresser, an alarm clock, and a desk. However, it was the only place where the real her was revealed, not the persona she presented to the world, nor the facade of strength she wore despite being the weakest person she knew.
Taking a seat in front of her desk on the swivel chair, she sighed. Slowly, her hand reached for her sleeve and began rolling it up, revealing scars that had yet to fully heal. Ugly slashes of red and pink extended from her upper arm and stopped halfway at her forearm.
Laughing to herself, she clenched her fists. These scars served as a reminder of her brokenness.
Even someone like Huang Renjun couldn't rescue her from herself.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered the day after school when she was listening to music while waiting for the bus. As she scrolled through her saved albums, a message notification unexpectedly appeared.
Mom: (Y/n), I've started applying for job opportunities, but I'll also be receiving financial support from your father before leaving him. If you move in with me, you can have your own room and everything
After reading the message once, she took a deep breath and swiped it away. Gently inserting her earbuds into her ears, she turned up the volume on her phone, allowing the current song to engulf her ears, if only for a few minutes, to temporarily forget everything. However, her solitude was soon disrupted by someone taking a seat next to her at the bus stop. She immediately recognized him as Renjun.
“What are you listening to?” he asked.
She removed one earbud and handed it to him, inviting him to listen along with her. He smiled and plugged the earbud into his left ear.
“Oh, I know this song.” His eyes lit up as he began to sing along. The current track playing was “Don’t Go” by EXO.
While he sang, she stared at him in a daze. “I didn't know you could sing,” she mumbled when the song ended.
Blushing, he cast his eyes downward. “I used to dream of becoming a singer like Rain or someone.”
“Do you not want to be a singer anymore?”
With some hesitation, he responded, “Entering the entertainment field is risky. The chances of someone like me getting in and achieving success are quite low.”
Before she could offer a proper reply, the bus arrived, momentarily interrupting their conversation. As they took their seats, Renjun began recommending songs and other artists she should explore. Nevertheless, her thoughts kept returning to what he had said earlier. She understood why he held those reservations. Someone as cautious as herself couldn't disagree.
That summer, she and Renjun spent a lot of time together. There were no formal plans or scheduled meetups; their interactions occurred naturally. If she was in one place, he would show up, and vice versa. In their moments alone, he would sing a few songs when she asked.
Unbeknownst to her, she found herself captivated by his voice. It was so clear and pleasant to the ear. She struggled to comprehend why he had abandoned his dream of becoming a singer, as it was evident that singing brought him immense joy.
“Your voice is so beautiful,” she mustered the courage to tell him one day. “I think if you debuted as a k-pop idol, you'd definitely make it.”
He looked up and smiled at her. “Thank you for saying that. But I believe it's wiser for me to attend university and secure a well-paying job.”
“You want to be just like everyone else?" she asked, wondering in the back of her mind if her question sounded too critical.
Renjun sighed, “It's a naive dream that's long behind me now. It doesn't matter anymore.”
Her lips formed a frown at his words, but she refrained from further comment. At the time, he seemed resolute in his choices. She had even thought to herself that perhaps it was for the best. If he had become a famous singer, he might have forgotten all about her.
Little did she know then how their lives would ultimately unfold, marked by contradictions.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered the last weekend before school was set to begin again. It was the first time she had been invited to his house, as his parents were away on a short trip to China, and he sought company. The idea of being alone with him at his place was intimidating, so she was relieved to find that he had also invited another friend to join them.
“Ugh, thank goodness you're here,” Renjun sighed in relief as he opened the door for her. “Haechan and I were arguing over which movie to watch.”
Trying to stifle a smile, she rolled her eyes as she closed her umbrella and removed her wet shoes. She often found it amusing how Renjun and Haechan could switch from arguing to being the best of friends in the blink of an eye.
“(Y/n), back me up here!” Haechan implored when he saw her enter the room. “On a rainy day like this, we have to watch a horror movie.”
She had known Lee Haechan since kindergarten, and even then, he was quite popular among the kids due to his outgoing personality. However, she hadn't interacted much with him until Renjun befriended her. Haechan started tagging along when they hung out, not wanting to be left out.
Despite Haechan's love for provoking Renjun, he was much kinder to her. He would often try to get her to defend him when he got Renjun angry. Naturally, the three of them ended up spending more time together than with their regular friend group.
“It's my house!” Renjun complained. “And I don't want to watch a horror movie.”
Haechan flashed a teasing glint in his eyes. “Oh. You're probably too scared to watch one.”
“I never said that I was scared,” Renjun turned to her. “Let’s just have (Y/n) choose the movie.”
Her cheeks warmed from the sudden attention. Their arguments typically ended with her being the one to make the final decision. So, she suggested a compromise: they could watch one horror movie and one of Renjun's choices. The boys looked at each other and had a moment of realization.
She had to admit it was quite amusing to watch Renjun and Haechan scream at the scary parts and laugh in embarrassment during the second movie. The two of them got into a spat when Haechan spilled popcorn on Renjun, leading to more bickering that she had to mediate. Sometimes she wondered if they were really in high school.
By the time they finished both movies, they noticed the storm hadn't shown any signs of letting up. Renjun suggested that they sleep over for the night, deeming it too risky to venture out in the rain.
Haechan eventually dozed off, leaving Renjun and her as the only ones still awake. They sat on the floor in front of the sofa, contemplating what to do. After a few awkward silences, Renjun cleared his throat.
“Do you want to see some of my old pictures?” she nodded eagerly in response.
He got up and retrieved a light brown photo album, which took her by surprise as she hadn't expected him to have so many pictures. They sat closer together, and he began to show her the photos.
“These are my parents,” Renjun gestured to the image in the top left corner. “And that's my grandfather over there.”
She beamed when she noticed a school photo of a younger Renjun on the next page. Glancing up at him, she commented, “I didn't know you had a snaggletooth.”
“Oh, yeah, I did,” Renjun shyly rubbed the back of his neck.
He pointed to his current smile, showing her his perfectly straight teeth. “But I have lingual braces now, so it's not there anymore.”
“But why? You looked so cute!" she said, saving herself from admitting she found him cute no matter what.
He sighed, “Only you would say that. If Haechan saw this, I wouldn't hear the end of it.”
They continued to browse through the photos, and she paused at one page, her thumb resting on a polaroid at the bottom right. A younger Renjun sat on a bench, with a girl beside him.
"Who is this?" she asked in a softer tone, without realizing it.
Renjun gazed at the photograph with a hint of hesitation. Without uttering a word, she could tell that a whirlwind of emotions and memories had unintentionally resurfaced.
“She was my first love back in my hometown,” Renjun sighed. “Our parents were good friends, so we knew each other from a young age.”
“We only dated for a year. But back then, I used to think nothing could ever separate us.” He wore a nostalgic smile that quickly faded. Evidently, his youthful hopes hadn't materialized as he had wished.
“If you don’t mind me asking, what happened?” she asked cautiously. Renjun paused and briefly looked at her.
“My dad got a new job here in Seoul, so we moved in the middle of tenth grade,” he explained. “I promised her... I promised her that we could still be together, that we could make it work.”
She could see the regret and sorrow pooling in his eyes. “But the last time we talked, she told me she couldn't handle a long-distance relationship. So she broke up with me.”
That final sentence felt both empty and painful. She couldn't fathom how much he must have suffered. Neither of them spoke for a while, until she mustered the courage to ask how he coped with it all.
“To be honest, it was tough in the beginning,” Renjun admitted. “But recently, I haven't been thinking about her as much.”
She shouldn't have allowed herself to feel hope upon hearing those words. “Have you moved on since then?”
“It still hurts from time to time,” he spoke honestly. “I cared about her a lot.”
“That's understandable,” she whispered. “Do you think you'll ever get over her?”
She tried to read his eyes when he looked back at her, but it was impossible. Instead, he shrugged. “I want to, but I'm not sure if I can.”
From that moment on, she should have given up, knowing that she never had a chance to begin with.
Maybe then, she could have prevented all the heartbreak she had set herself up for.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered that one morning when she was getting ready for school. As she went to leave her things near the door, she heard her mother's footsteps emerging from the kitchen. Her mother's hair was disheveled, and she had gained weight from all the delivery food she had been eating. She couldn't remember the last time her mother had cooked.
“(Y/n),” her mother reached for her, but she instinctively backed away. The desperation on her mother's face quickly shifted to irritation.
“I'm your mother, I gave birth to you. Is this how you treat me?”
“Eomma—”
But her mother continued, “How awful it is that you've turned out to be just like your abusive father. I can't believe he's brainwashed you.”
Anyone else listening might have thought she was a madwoman. Her mother had become a stranger to her.
“Appa has not abused you. No one is abusing you,” she tried to maintain her patience. “Eomma, you need help. You're not—”
“SHUT UP!” Her mother screamed, causing her to flinch. “You don't know what you're talking about. How dare you disrespect me?”
The heat of anger flushed her face. She yearned to scream back at her mother and tell her to stop, but she knew it would only add fuel to the fire. It wasn't worth it.
Before her mother walked away, she said something that she had been hearing frequently lately. “You know what? Sometimes I wish I wasn't your mother.”
Her fingers curled into fists. Her mom was always adept at being manipulative. As a teenager, she did her best to take her mother's insults maturely. But when someone you love hurls those words at you every day, it slowly chips away at you.
All she could see was red after that argument. She remembered searching for her razor blade and making multiple slashes across her arm when she found it. She didn't care about the stinging pain of the cuts or the fresh, warm blood trickling down her arm. Her thoughts were clouded with fury. She was furious at her mother for behaving like a child and at her father for allowing it to happen. She was furious at herself for not being able to do anything. Every night, she was kept awake by her mother's shouting, harassing her father for no apparent reason.
Trembling with anger, she walked to school. All the pent-up pain and bitterness were bubbling to the surface. She had tried so hard to be strong for her father and everyone else, believing she could handle everything on her own.
By the time she arrived at class that day, she could barely hold herself together. She kept her head down to conceal the evidence of her tears. She took her seat at her desk and tried to regain her composure, determined not to let anyone see the real her, the one filled with bitterness and misery.
“Morning, (Y/n),” she heard his voice calling out to her. Renjun's desk was near the front, by the window, while hers was closer to the back. However, every morning, he would come over to discuss after-school plans or homework.
She hastily wiped away any tears and looked up, forcing a smile to hide her inner turmoil. By eleventh grade, they had become closer since the previous school year. She should have known that Renjun would see right through her. It took just one look for him to sense that something was amiss.
“Something's up. What's wrong?”
Renjun glanced down at her wrist, and she almost gasped when she noticed blood seeping through her uniform sleeve. Blinded by rage, she must have unintentionally cut herself deeper this time.
“(Y/n), what—” He reached for her arm before she could stop him. He paused before gently pulling up her sleeve, revealing the fresh cuts from that morning.
Renjun opened his mouth to say something but remembered they were in a classroom setting. He looked back at her, seeing that all color had drained from her face and her lip began to quiver.
“Come on,” he prompted her, leading her out of the classroom.
“Renjun, where are you taking me?”
“To the nurse's office. Now.”
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered him pulling her into the nurse's office. Despite her protests and attempts to stop walking, he paid no attention and continued. When they arrived, Renjun had her sit down on one of the treatment beds while he retrieved the first aid kit.
As he lifted the rest of her sleeve, she found herself holding her breath. She said nothing as Renjun cleaned and bandaged her wounds, her gaze dropping to her arm. What was once fair in color and smooth was now marred by hideous scars. Most of them were faded white, while some were still pink. The new red marks stood out the most.
Numerous times, Renjun tried to catch her gaze. She could tell he wanted to know what she was thinking. After applying the last bandage and closing the first aid kit, she forced herself to meet his woeful eyes.
“(Y/n)...” He began, uncertainty in his voice. “Whatever you're going through that makes you hurt yourself like this, you can tell me.”
They locked eyes for a brief moment, and she knew she was about to share everything she had been holding back. She loathed showing vulnerability in front of those she cared about. It filled her with a strong sense of self-hatred.
“I... I can't,” she practically whispered.
Renjun was stubborn and wouldn't give up. He placed his hand on hers, gently squeezing it. “You can trust me, I promise.”
She stared at him for a moment before her facade, maintained for months, crumbled. Slowly, she began to confide in Renjun. She told him about her mother's drug problem and how it had nearly bankrupted their family. She spoke of the sleepless nights listening to her mother hurl insults at her father. It was the first time she had shared the news of her parents’ decision to end their disastrous marriage. Finally, she told him about the argument with her mother that morning and the hurtful things her mother had said to her.
“How could a mother say those things to her daughter?” Her voice wavered as she continued, “When I've spent my whole life trying to...hoping for her to love me.”
She waited for Renjun to say something. But he caught her off guard when he reached over and enveloped her in a tight hug. He patted her back gently and assured her that she had every right to be upset.
“Your mom must be crazy not to see how amazing you are,” he said, using his thumb to wipe away her tears. “I'm sorry she said those things to you. You didn't deserve that.”
She sniffed and shook her head. “I don't know why there's still some part of me that expects something from her.”
"It's because you love her and want her to be healthy," Renjun responded.
She lowered her head and admitted, "I guess you're right..."
There was a brief silence between them. Renjun frowned, glancing around the room before standing up. He looked down at her with a mischievous smile.
“Let's get out of here,” he suggested, nodding toward the door.
Her torn expression shifted to a confused one. “Right now? But we have class.”
“That’s fine. We’ll just say you felt sick, and I offered to take you home.”
“So you’re suggesting we skip school?”
“I mean yeah, why not?” Renjun shrugged. “It’s not like they’re going to suspect anything bad from top students like us.”
Her eyebrows lifted in uncertainty. She never thought she would ever hear Huang Renjun suggesting skipping class. She had never in her life done such a thing.
Tired of waiting, he took her hand and pulled her up. “You should go have fun on a day like this. To clear your mind.”
She could feel her heart beating faster when he held her hand. Slightly flustered by the situation, she just nodded and followed him to sneak out of the school grounds. They got on a bus and sat in the back rows. She didn’t bother asking Renjun where they were going. Her mind was still stuck on the fact that she had practically spilled her heart out to the boy next to her. She regretted telling him so much in her emotional state. But he didn’t appear to think any less of her.
Renjun ended up taking her to a small arcade filled with game machines, prizes, and neon lights. “Haechan talks about this place a lot. It’s my first time here, though.”
She chuckled, “He’s going to kill you when he finds out you came here without him.”
“I know,” Renjun said and took her hand again. “Come on, let’s go buy some tokens.”
They played all sorts of games that day, such as racing and shooting ones. She thought she would be bad at the basketball game, but it turned out Renjun was worse than her. She laughed when he got pouty for not being able to score many baskets.
“Oh, over there!” She pointed out. “I’ve always wanted to go to a photobooth with friends.”
Renjun smiled at her sudden excitement. “Let’s go do it, then.”
The two of them went in and paid the machine to take some pictures. In a hurry before the camera started rolling, they picked out accessories for each other. She hoped Renjun didn’t notice the shade of pink on her cheeks as he set a white headband with cat ears on her head. On the other hand, she chose a pair of large daisy-themed sunglasses for him.
Renjun convinced her to try doing different poses. By the time the camera clicked for the last time, both of them were caught up in laughter. To her surprise, the photos came out well. In the last one, she saw Renjun smiling down at her, and she had her hands shaped as a heart. Anyone would have mistaken them for a couple.
She thought they would be done once they were finished with the arcade. But by the time they left, it was late afternoon. She hadn’t even realized the time went by. By then, the school day was already over. She said that they should just go back home now. Renjun looked at her with a slightly worried expression.
“Why don’t we get some ice cream first?” He pointed toward the frozen treat shop across the street. Reluctantly, she agreed and let him lead them to the place.
After getting their ice cream, they sat at one of the two-person tables outside. Subconsciously, she quietly observed him as he ate his green tea flavored ice cream. Why was her heart continuing to beat faster whenever she was around him?
“You should eat yours before it melts,” Renjun pointed out.
She was snapped out of her thoughts and glanced down at the mint-chocolate ice cream cone in her hand. Laughing nervously, she quickly took a small bite. “Oh right.”
Renjun chuckled and picked up the napkin near him. “You have some on your lips.”
Absent-mindedly, he reached over the table to wipe off the remaining cream off her mouth. Her eyes widened when she noticed how close their faces were. When Renjun saw the blush on her face, he coughed and sat back down in his seat.
Once the heat in her cheeks lessened, she took the chance to speak again. “I didn’t get the chance to thank you for today. I’m…I’m sorry about this morning.”
“You don’t have to apologize,” Renjun shook his head. “I just—if you ever feel like hurting yourself again…”
He made eye contact with her when he said this, “Come to me, okay? Don’t feel like you have to carry all the burdens on your own.”
When she didn’t say anything, he placed a hand on top of hers. It was the third time he did that today. “I’ll always be here for you, (Y/n)-yah.”
How she wished that she hadn’t taken those words to heart.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered Haechan narrowing his eyes at her as they waited for Renjun at the library. He seemed as if he was suspecting her of something. She hoped Renjun would come soon to break this weird tension.
“How long are you going to stare at me like that?” She glanced up from her schoolwork.
Ignoring her question, Haechan said, “You and Renjun have been acting strange around each other.”
She laughed incredulously. “What are you talking about?”
“The way you two look at each other is different.” Haechan twirled the pencil in his hands with his fingers. “And you’ve been hanging out a lot. Without me.”
“Haechan, we’re just friends-”
“You like him, don’t you?” Instantly, she froze when he asked. The corner of Haechan’s lips curled upward into a smile.
“I’ll take your silence as a confirmation.”
“How…how did you find out?”
Haechan rolled his eyes as if the answer was obvious. “I’ve known you since kindergarten, Kim (Y/n). Never have I seen you look at a boy before Renjunie.”
It was true. She had no interest in boys unlike the other girls in her class at the time. She was always preoccupied with what was going on at home. Not just with boys, she had never made an effort to make many friends. Her mindset at the time was it was better to be alone, so no one could hurt her. Then Huang Renjun came along and changed everything.
She briefly scanned the library to ensure no one was paying them any mind, before leaning closer to the table. But that didn’t stop her from speaking in a hushed tone.
“You can’t tell him, okay?”
Haechan looked at her quizzically. “You’re not going to confess to him?”
“Why would I? That would be too risky.”
“What’s there to risk?” Her friend tilted his head. “You’re single, he’s single. You like him, and he probably likes you back.”
Shaking her head, “There’s no way he likes me back. I think he’s still stuck on his past relationship.”
“His first love back in China?” Haechan scoffed. “(Y/n), that was so long ago. And you’re here, right in front of him. I think you have a solid chance.”
“It’s not that easy, Haechan. Our whole friendship could be ruined, and I don’t want that to happen.”
The boy frowned at her. “So what? You’re just going to do nothing and watch him go find someone else?”
“Hey, guys! Sorry, I’m late.” A male voice ended their conversation. They looked to see Renjun waving to them and coming to their table.
“What were you guys talking about?” he asked when he sat down.
Before Haechan could answer, she spoke up before him. “We were just talking about the math test tomorrow.”
“Oh right. Let me get out my textbook so we can study.” Renjun reached down for his bag. While doing so, Haechan narrowed his eyes on her again.
He did have a point. She certainly didn’t want to see the boy she liked with someone else. But she was too much of a coward at the time. Confessing to Renjun sounded terrifying just thinking about it. She could never bring herself to do it.
Back then, she should’ve listened to her instincts.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered frowning at the empty desk in the corner of the room when she entered that morning. For once, there was no Renjun to greet her with his cute smile and wave. That was odd, she thought to herself. He was always in the classroom before her.
When she made her way to her seat, Haechan sat at the desk in front of her. His chin rested in one of his hands as he sulked.
“Our Renjunie is at home with a cold. That’s why he couldn’t come to school today.”
“He caught a cold?” He rarely got sick. But Haechan nodded in confirmation.
“Remember the other day when he forgot to bring an umbrella when it was raining?”
“Oh goodness,” she sighed, worry swirled around her head. “Maybe we should go visit him after school.”
Haechan smiled teasingly and shook his head. “Nah, I don’t want to get in the way of your lovey-dovey moments with him.”
“Lee Haechan!” She lightly pushed his shoulder as he laughed.
“You know, it’s really easy to make you blush? I can only imagine what happens when Renjunie is around.”
She swore, the boy was purposely pushing all her buttons.
Regardless of Haechan’s teasing, she still went to Renjun’s house after school. She had asked the light-haired boy one more time if he wanted to join her. But he said that he had something else to do. Whatever that was.
Anxiously, she made her way up the front steps of his house with a bag in her hand. The school day was killing her, knowing that Renjun was sick and home alone. She had never so badly for classes to be over.
His mom was there to open the door for her. Even though they had been friends for more than a year, it was her first time meeting Renjun’s mother. Immediately she recognized their similar facial features. “Hello, how can I help you?”
Almost forgetting her words, she straightened up her posture and bowed. “I’m so sorry to bother you. But is Renjun home?”
The woman’s face brightened when she said her son’s name. Clasping her hands together, she smiled at her. “You must be that girl he talks about all the time. It’s so nice to finally meet you!”
Her eyes widened when she heard this. Renjun talked about her? To his parents? Before she could muster up a good response, Mrs. Huang was already ushering her inside the house.
“I’m so glad you came,” She said. “My poor son is sick in bed. But I got called into work right now and his father already left in the morning.”
She slipped off her shoes and gave his mother what she hoped to be a reassuring smile. “You don’t have to worry Mrs. Huang. I came to make sure he was okay, so I can help watch over him for you.”
“Oh, that’s so kind of you. Thank you so much,” She squeezed her hands and tried to get a better look at her. “Truly, I’m grateful that Renjun has a friend like you. He was so sad when we first moved here. But now he’s so much happier.”
She recalled the few times when Renjun told her he felt homesick. In the beginning, he told her a lot about his hometown and his childhood there. She couldn’t imagine what it was like to move to a completely different country.
“It’s nothing, really,” She told his mother. “Your son is a great friend of mine. He…he means a lot to me.”
After hearing his mom’s words, she remembered wanting nothing more than to stay by Renjun’s side. She wanted to be there for him, just like he was to her. Even if he never knew about her feelings, she was okay with that.
Ms. Huang thanked her again before she hurriedly left for work. She told her that he was still in bed and his bedroom was on the left side down the hall.
“Renjun?” She knocked before coming into the room. The walls were painted a pale yellow, and there was a window above his desk. His room was neat and simple, like hers.
Renjun lifted his head to see that she had called his name. “(Y/n), what are you doing here?”
She grimaced when she heard him cough. “Your mom just left. I came to drop off your homework and look after you for a bit.”
“Oh…but what if you get sick?”
She smiled at his show of concern. “I should be fine. I have a strong immune system,” she insisted.
He didn’t seem to be very convinced. But he reluctantly laid back on his pillow. She set her school bag down on his desk chair.
“There are some things I have to prepare,” She said, going toward the door. “Just rest here, and I’ll be back in a bit okay?”
Renjun was too tired to protest, so he patiently waited for her to come back. It wasn’t like there was anything else he could do.
Moments later, she returned with a tray that carried a steaming hot bowl of porridge and a cup of tea. The sick boy peered up with a curious look in his eyes.
“This is some congee I made. It’s good to eat warm things when you have a cold,” she explained as she carefully placed the tray on his nightstand. Leaving the drink, she picked up the bowl to give to him.
Renjun smiled, but there was slight guilt in his eyes. “You didn’t have to do that for me.”
“It’s no big deal,” she said. “I made it the other day when my dad got sick. So I just reheated the leftovers that I had.”
“But still…”
Ignoring his nasally mumbles, she took the spoon and firmly put it in his hands. “You need to eat to get your strength back.”
He accepted the utensil sulkily and weakly took a bite of the food she made. She watched quietly as he ate. His face was paler than usual, and his dark hair was damp from his sickness. She hadn’t imagined a sick Renjun would be so cute. But somehow, she was surprised either way.
She stayed with Renjun the rest of the evening. After helping him take some cold medicine, they moved to the living room and watched some k-dramas on her laptop. Some laughter was exchanged at the funny parts. Occasionally, she heard sniffles at the sadder scenes in the movie. She wasn’t sure if it was Renjun’s symptoms or if he was actually crying. Either way, she pretended she didn’t hear him.
“Gosh, you're burning up,” she said when she placed a hand on his forehead to check his temperature.
She stood up to get a cold wet towel to help him cool down. Sitting back down at the foot of his bed, she leaned over to gently dab the cloth onto his forehead. She could sense Renjun switching from staring at her to glancing over her shoulder. But she pretended not to notice. After a few minutes, she brought her hand down and asked if he felt any better. But he wouldn’t answer.
“Renjun?” He looked back at her and gestured for her hand. He took it and placed her hand over his chest.
“Why do you keep making me feel like this, (Y/n)?”
His words meshed into the other. But she was still able to understand what he was saying. She stared at him in surprise, unable to find an appropriate response.
Renjun pressed his other hand over his eyes in distress. “All I’ve been thinking about lately is you. I swear it’s driving me crazy.”
From hearing this, she was certain that this was just the fever talking. She didn’t want to give herself false hope.
“Renjun, you…should rest. I don’t think you know what you’re saying.” She tried to pry her hand out of his.
Instead of letting her go, she felt his grip tighten around her wrist. Before she could say anything, her body was pulled down into a position where Renjun was right beneath her. She wasn’t sure if the sudden heat she felt came from Renjun’s fever or from how flustered she was at the moment.
“Huang Renjun, what are you—” She tried to escape, but he held her in place. He brought her closer to where their faces were merely inches apart. His steady eyes marveled over her red cheeks and eventually moved down to her lips.
But before she could make another attempt to move off of him, he pulled her down so their lips could meet.
Her eyes were wide open when she processed what was happening. He had single-handedly taken her first kiss, and she wasn’t sure how to take it at the time.
Little passion was felt in the kiss. But there was so much yearning and desire. When she let go of any resistance and closed her eyes, she felt herself melting into his touch. This… is something that she wasn’t aware she had wanted. I mean, what girl wouldn’t want to be kissed by the boy she liked?
Before the things could go any further, Renjun released his hands off her neck and fell back. He had dozed off in the next second, leaving her to be baffled by the situation.
She couldn’t recall what happened after. All she could remember was waking up the next morning on Renjun’s couch with a dark blue blanket covering her. Slowly, she sat up and saw Renjun exiting a room.
“Oh, you’re awake!” He looked slightly better than he did the other day, but still a little pale. Self-consciously, she straightened her clothes and patted down her hair as he came to sit beside her.
“Wha-what time is it?” She sat up and reached for her phone to look at the clock. 10:15 am.
Renjun chuckled, “It’s a good thing it’s Saturday.”
Warily, she placed her phone back down on the table in front of them. She looked at the boy beside her for a moment, wondering how to bring up the events that occurred the night before. She must’ve fallen asleep late, overthinking everything. If Renjun kissed her, that had to mean he felt something for her, right? Or were his actions from him being delirious?
“Renjun, about yesterday…” She started.
His eyes lit up, “Oh right. I can’t thank you enough for staying and taking care of me. My mom told me to say thank you to her. She and my dad have already left for work.”
“Oh…it was nothing,” she shook her head. “But I’m talking about when you-”
Renjun leaned back on the couch and sighed, “Ugh I hadn’t been that sick in a long time. Honestly, some of the things from yesterday are hazy to me.”
Her eyes blinked in confusion. “Do…do you not remember what happened last night then?”
The boy furrowed his brows as he tried to think back. Seconds later he snapped his fingers. “Oh yeah. The ice towel you used really helped to bring my fever down. I wanted to thank you for that too.”
So he didn’t remember kissing her. Any hopes she had of Renjun might share the same feelings as she dissolved in an instant. Those optimistic feelings were replaced by perplexity and dismay.
Stupid, foolish girl. She was such an idiot to have such thoughts to begin with.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered the astounded look on Haechan’s face when she glumly told him about what happened. They had met up at a café later that afternoon.
“He what?!” The boy across from her nearly jumped out of his chair.
She shot him a nervous glare, “Haechan! Can you please just sit back down?”
“Sorry, let me get this straight.” He thankfully did as she asked. “You were taking care of Renjun, and he kissed you. But he doesn’t remember it?”
She dropped her head and nodded gloomily. “What am I supposed to do now?”
“Are you sure he forgot?” Haechan asked.
“I don’t know. If he didn’t, he obviously wants to pretend it never happened,” she said, poking at the straw in her drink. Hearing herself say that only left her feeling more depressed.
Haechan sighed and gave her a look of slight concern. “(Y/n), I really think you should just tell Renjun about your feelings.”
“Haechan…”
“I’m being serious! At this point, you should just go for it,” he sat up in his seat. “What could possibly go wrong other than him saying no?”
She had sworn to herself that she would never confess to Renjun. Even if there was a small chance he might like her in return, she was too scared to risk it. He meant too much to her to lose him because of her selfishness.
“If Renjun rejects me, he’ll feel bad and have a hard time.” Her shoulders faltered. “I don’t want to make him feel uncomfortable because of me.”
Haechan crossed his arms, “But that might never happen. Coming from experience, it’s better to just confess your feelings and be done with it. Things might not go the way you want. But you’ll feel better after.”
“Maybe you’re right,” she fumbled with the paper wrapping from her straw.
Haechan smirked, “Of course, I am. I’m always right.”
“Yeah, and what experience do you have?” She questioned, referring to his prior words. In response, he put a finger to his mouth as a motion for her not to comment further.
“Just trust me, okay?”
She dwelled on what Haechan said for a bit. Honestly, she wasn’t sure how much longer she could go being around Renjun without her heart exploding. Especially after they kissed. How long was she going to let herself live like this?
So for once and all, she followed Haechan’s advice and chose one day to confess.
She had to show that she wasn’t a coward and be a little braver for once. It was the most determined she had ever been about something. She was finally going to confront her feelings.
At least she thought she was.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered it was the beginning of autumn when she asked Renjun to meet her at the park one day. Aside from that, she had been trying to get out of the house more often. Things with her parents were still rocky. Being at school and spending time with friends allowed her to stop thinking about it all for a little while.
But that day was different. When she had finally decided to face her fears and just tell Renjun how she felt. She was beyond nervous, unable to keep her legs from shaking as she waited for him to arrive. She had repeated everything she was going to say numerous times the night before.
Having never confessed to a boy before, she spent the past few nights searching for tips on what she should do. There was one site that said you should dress up for these occasions. So foolishly, she spent almost an hour picking the right outfit and makeup. She hoped Renjun wouldn’t find her being too obvious.
Before she could chicken out, she saw him walking down the street to see her. He was wearing a smile. She didn’t think about it then. But his smile wasn’t bright like the normal ones he showed her. This one was filled with slight apprehension.
“Hey (Y/n),” He came to her with hands in the pockets of his jacket. “What did you want to do today?”
There was no way for her to back out anymore. “Actually Renjun, there’s something I want to tell you.”
“Oh really? I have something to tell you too,” Renjun scratched the back of his head. She was curious as to what he had to say. For a second she forgot about her plan.
They stared at each other awkwardly until Renjun cleared his throat. “You—you can go first if you want.”
“Oh okay.” Tensely, her grip on the strap of her purse tightened. She told herself that she could do this. It was Renjun, after all. Why did she make this so hard for herself?
Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to meet his eyes. “You see, there’s something I’ve been hiding from you.”
Renjun looked at her with slight concern, “Hiding from me? (Y/n), you know you can tell me anything, right?”
“I know, I know. That’s why I’m telling you today because I don’t think I can keep it in anymore,” She said. Here goes nothing, she remembered thinking to herself.
“Renjun, I like—”
“Huang Renjun!” She was stopped by an unfamiliar female voice from behind her. As she started to process her failed attempt to confess, she watched a look of astonishment appear on Renjun’s face.
She turned to see a girl about their age with short light-brown hair, wearing a yellow sweater over a white skirt. She ran over to embrace the boy in front of her.
For a moment, Renjun seemed to be at a loss for words. Then he slowly hugged her back and a name rolled off his tongue. “Xiaomi?”
She held him closer to her. “Oh, I’ve missed you so much.”
“I—I don’t understand. What are you doing here?” He pulled away. Surprise and bewilderment were still evident in his expression.
Every ounce of glee was pouring from her eyes. “I couldn’t stand us being so far apart. It took me a while, but I convinced my parents to move us here.”
“But…but how?”
“Your father talked with mine and helped him secure a job at the same company,” She replied. “I’ll be going to the same school as you too!”
(Y/n) stood there like a fool. They were speaking in Chinese. But it didn’t take an idiot to understand the situation. She was his first love. The one he told her about. She was here, she had come for him. And (Y/n) was just…there.
Renjun didn’t respond and glanced back at her. Finally, the girl turned to look at her. It turned out that she also knew how to speak Korean. But hers wasn’t nearly as good as Renjun’s.
“Is this a friend of yours?”
Suddenly snapping out of his daze, “Y-yeah. This is Kim (Y/n). (Y/n), this is Xu Xiaomi.”
Swallowing this whole new feeling of heartbreak, (Y/n) forced a smile on her face. “Renjun told me about you.”
Xiaomi beamed, “He did? How sweet.”
She looked back at Renjun and clasped her hands together. “Isn’t this great, Renjun? We can finally be together now!”
“I think I’ll get going now,” She bowed her head. She didn’t think she could stand to watch any longer.
Renjun called out to her but she pretended not to hear him. She woke up that day, barely ready for rejection. So many scenarios she had gone through and prepared what to say. But she didn’t expect that to happen.
Yet, she had no idea that there would be more pain to come.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered Xiaomi being introduced to their homeroom the next Monday. She kept exchanging glances with Renjun throughout the class. She could hear Haechan, who was a few seats behind her, making gagging noises at the couple.
She hadn’t spoken much to Renjun since that day at the park. She wasn’t sure which was worse, losing the one chance she had to confess to her crush or witnessing him be reunited with his past lover.
“Are you going to eat your tonkatsu?” Haechan pointed his chopsticks to her lunch, snapping her out of her brief daze.
He was trying to act like everything was normal. But she could tell he was holding back what he truly wanted to say. Although Renjun or Xiaomi wouldn’t have heard him anyway, since they hadn’t arrived at the cafeteria yet.
When he asked, she pushed her tray toward the boy. “Have it all.”
Her appetite had been lost over the past few days. Not only because of Renjun, she just had this mild pain in her head. Maybe her body was finally breaking from all the emotions she had been trying to hide.
Before Haechan could question her, she stood up from her seat. “I’m going to go back to the classroom for a bit. There’s an assignment I want to get ahead on.”
When she approached their classroom, she saw Renjun and Xiaomi through the window. She was near the door, but they couldn’t see her. She didn’t know why she was inclined to stay. She wasn’t there at the beginning of the conversation. But she had heard the rest of it.
“Tell me the truth, Renjun. Who is Kim (Y/n) to you?” Xiaomi asked. She was no longer smiling brightly.
Immediately (Y/n) was alerted when she heard her name. When did she become the subject?
“Xiaomi…”
She frowned at him in dissatisfaction. “I saw the way you looked at her. Do you not love me anymore?”
“What? No!” Renjun denied. He quickly grabbed Xiaomi’s hands and held them.
She wasn’t prepared to hear what he said next. “Honestly, (Y/n) is just a friend of another friend I made here, and we’ve hung out a few times. She…she means nothing to me.”
“Are you sure?”
He gently lifted her chin and kissed her reassuringly before murmuring. “Yes.”
(Y/n)'s hand reached to cover her mouth, as she started to back away. A sob climbed up her throat. But she was already running before they could hear her. She couldn’t stop thinking about how naive she had been. How stupid she was.
To ever think for even a moment, that she would ever mean something to someone.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
She remembered her dad mentioning that he wanted to move back to Busan. After she had been born out of wedlock, he moved from his hometown to be with her mother in Seoul. Now that the divorce was almost finalized, there was nothing here for him anymore.
At first, she was against the idea. She didn't want to leave her friends and school. But as she thought about it more, she started to think that maybe it was for the best. She didn't think she could ever look at Renjun the same again. Not after he said those things. Yet there was this part of her that still harbored feelings for him. It left her more devastated than anything. Was she really nothing to him?
She was so sick of it all. But before she could leave everything behind, there was something she wanted to do first.
Haechan was the only person she told that she was moving. She asked him not to tell any of their other friends, especially Renjun.
Surprisingly, Haechan was a lot more understanding than she expected. But he didn't hold back his anger when she told him about what she had heard the other day.
“Damn. That son of a-”
She nearly hit him for swearing. “Lee Haechan! He's still your best friend.”
“I don't care if he is!” Haechan saw the distress in her eyes and sighed. “Okay, I'm sorry. But I still think he was an a**hole to say those things.”
Hating to admit, she kind of had to agree with him. Maybe Renjun wasn't the person she thought he was.
“Thank you, for being there when I needed it,” she said, avoiding eye contact.
The boy waved his hand dismissively, “You're lucky to have such a smart and loyal friend like me.”
Of course, he still maintained that ego of his. But then Haechan placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a sincere look.
“Hang in there, kid,” He said with a proud smile on his face. “I'm sure things will get better for you.”
“We're the same age, Haechan.”
“Shush, don't ruin the moment.”
She shook her head and laughed. Despite everything, it was still nice to know that there was still one person by her side. The past version of her would have never even imagined being friends with someone like Haechan.
But on multiple levels, life had done its best to prove her wrong.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
At the end of the month, their homeroom teacher had an announcement for the class in the morning. But all Renjun could think about was the empty desk in the back center of the room. (Y/n) hadn't been at school this past week. Multiple attempts he had made to call and text her. But there was no response. It was almost as if she had disappeared all of a sudden.
“I know some of you may be wondering about your classmate that has been missing,” the teacher looked around the students. “I came to tell you that Kim Y/n is no longer a student at this school and has moved away.”
The sound of gasps and murmurs erupted among the class. Renjun shook his head, unable to believe the news. No, it couldn’t be true. Why would she leave without saying anything?
“Where did she move to?” One person asked. Renjun looked at his teacher with hope in his eyes.
But the man shook his head and stepped away from the podium. “I can't disclose that information, for her privacy's sake. That's all I have for today. Get ready for your English class.”
When the teacher left, Renjun turned to find Haechan. He didn't seem the slightest bit surprised by this news. He had to know something.
“Where is (Y/n)?” His friend only responded with a glare.
“Lee Haechan!” Renjun's fingers curled into fists, quick to resort to anger.
Haechan shook his head and brought a light purple envelope from his bag. Without looking at him, he gestured for Renjun to take it. “She asked me to give you this.”
He hesitated before adding, “She should be at the train station. But she doesn't leave until half an hour from now. That's all I'm telling you.”
The envelope crinkled in Renjun's hands. He heard Xiaomi call his name. But he was already out the door, running out of school and catching a taxi. He had to find Y/n. He didn't care about the consequences.
Nothing else was on his mind except for her.
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
Dear Renjun,
A part of me hopes you will never read this. But if you are, that must mean things didn’t work out the way I had planned. And the purpose of this letter has changed from what it was originally supposed to be.
I know in our day and age that letters are old-fashioned. But I still loved the idea of them. I am writing you this letter because I am not brave enough to face you in person. I haven’t been truthful to you about some things. So here I want to clarify them. I hope you don’t mind.
I don’t remember how it exactly happened. But I’ve liked you for some time now. I think it was that day when I saw you helping that lady cross the street. I guess I’m someone who is easily swayed by kindness.
However, I didn’t realize my feelings until the day you learned about my secrets. That was when I knew I couldn’t keep myself from falling anymore. When we used to study together and hang out in the summer, I was the happiest I had ever been. I should thank you for that.
You had gotten out of a serious relationship and I wasn’t looking to date. I thought I was content with just being friends.
Then on the day you were sick, we kissed. Maybe you didn’t remember. Or maybe you didn’t want to. It was probably some mistake to you. Yet for a second, I thought there was a chance you liked me too. But I was very wrong about that, wasn’t I?
I know I mean nothing to you. But to me, you meant everything. You were the first person who knew my secret and comforted me. You made me feel like I didn’t have to hurt alone anymore.
I may not be your first love, Renjun, But you were mine. And I want nothing more than happiness and success in your future. Seriously, do something that makes you happy. Not because of any standards that are put on us, or the pressure that you give yourself. I hope that you can find your dream again and to someday see you shine brighter than anyone else.
Obviously, you don’t have to listen to me. But these were the things I wanted to say to you without any more regrets.
Sincerely, Kim (Y/n)
The letter crumpled in Renjun’s shaky hands. He looked at the taxi driver with desperation. “Ahjeossi, please hurry!” He anxiously sat back in his seat.
So she did hear what he said that day. Why, why did he lie? Why had he been so foolish?
When he finally got to the train station, Renjun sprinted inside only to be crowded by the other people passing by. He tried his best to get through briskly.
“(Y/n)!” He called out as if he was insane. “Kim (Y/n)!”
He could care less about the people who gave him odd stares. His mind was focused on getting to her. He ran to find the public transport timetable. His eyes darted across the board and found the departures.
10:44 BUSAN KTX DELAY: 0 min
He was too late. She was gone, leaving him in his regrets and despair. The boy fell to his knees as tears streamed down his face.
“Please…please come back, (Y/n),” Renjun cried, “Don’t go, I’m sorry. This is all my fault.”
He knew that she couldn’t hear him. Every word that came out of his mouth was futile. She could not see him right now. But if she did, she would’ve run back to embrace him and tell him not to cry.
All he could do was bang his fists on the ground, pathetically. “(Y/n), I’m sorry. Please don’t leave me.”
He said this, even though she was never his and he was never hers. This pain was worse than when Xiaomi had broken up with him. He didn’t think he would ever be able to move on from it. There were so many words that he wanted to say to her. Words that he should’ve said to her before. Most importantly,
“I love you.”
┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦┈◦•◦⟡•◦
{ five years later }
Here she was again, standing before him after not seeing each other since the eleventh grade. But she wasn’t alone.
“Hey, everyone. It's been a while,” she still seemed shy, but more reassured.
That was when his eyes found the person holding her hand. He was tall, handsome with jet black hair and a face that could charm anyone. If Renjun saw him in any other setting, he would have assumed he was some playboy. But in this case, the guy was looking at Y/n with tenderness in his eyes. Anyone would be able to tell he was completely enamored with her from just one glance.
Coincidentally, she met Renjun's eyes when she introduced the person next to her. “This is Na Jaemin—my boyfriend.”
“Wah, he's so handsome!” Her friends were awed as if he wasn't standing right there.”You found yourself a good one, Y/n!”
All Renjun could do was sit back and listen to the others asking how the two met and how long they'd been dating. He thought he should feel angry or betrayed. But for some reason, he didn't feel those things.
“Renjun, you should sing something for us,” Haechan said later in the night. He gestured to the small stage near the back.
“I don't know, guys…”
“Oh come on,” one classmate begged. “Just one song?”
Eventually, Renjun gave in knowing it was the only way for them to stop asking. In the next few seconds, the singer found himself getting out of his seat and getting up on stage. He adjusted the microphone stand and connected his phone to the speaker.
Tightening his grip as the music started to play, inadvertently they made eye contact again. At just one glance, so many emotions swelled in his heart. Without her, he would've ignored his passion and moved on to live a meaningless life. But thanks to (Y/n), he was able to find his dream again and go after it.
Never would he forget how he hurt her with his foolish words. The song he was about to sing was chosen especially for her.
“Why do I get sulky so easily? Am I this pathetic because of my small heart?” He started to sing, tightly gripping onto the mic stand. “Don’t go, I know I was a bit too much. Can you forgive me for being regretful again?”
As a professional, Renjun did his best to keep his voice stable, but it wasn’t easy. This song was written for her. He didn't know if she had heard it before. But he hoped it could convey the feelings he wasn't able to before.
Kim (Y/n), who he loved. Kim (Y/n), who he had hurt and brought him so much regret.
The same heartache he was feeling earlier returned as he sang the chorus, “Tell me, why I let you down? Any chance I get I'm breaking down.”
“I know it's my fault, but why is it so hard? To tell you that I'm sorry, heart.” His gaze remained fixed on her as the lyrics gracefully flowed from his lips.
There was loud applause when Renjun finished the song. But he couldn't enjoy it. He just wanted to see her reaction. She was smiling at him with tears glistening in her eyes. That was all the approval Renjun needed.
When the event was over, he went outside in hopes to talk to her. His feet stopped moving when he found her standing under a large tree nearby. She was talking to Jaemin, who had his back toward him. She laughed at something he said.
Then a few moments later, the man took a small box out of his jacket pocket. Renjun watched as her eyes lit up in the utmost surprise. Renjun couldn't hear the conversation. But he was there when she mouthed the word “yes” and to see them warmly hug each other after.
Still, in her partner's embrace, she met Renjun's gaze once more. He knew that she was content by the way she smiled at him.
And he couldn't help but smile back. Was he envious? Of course, he was. He would do almost anything to be in that man’s place. However, nothing could be done or changed.
He was happy for her because she was happy. No words could be exchanged. But none needed to be said. Their story had ended a long time ago.
They were living in reality, not some cliché world where everyone got their happy ending.
Where having a first love didn't necessarily guarantee they would be their last. But that didn't mean finding happiness was not achievable.
Tumblr media
The day of the dinner was here. You dressed up in a cute but fitting outfit, hoping you could make a certain someone's eyes draw to you. Your dad was really excited about introducing his community to you, and you couldn't help but also grow excited. Although Daryl's rejection still hurt, you decided that this would be the perfect chance to show him what he was missing and to just have a good time. You helped your dad prep the meal, and soon, guests began to arrive. The first was a sweet older woman named Carol and her daughter, Sophia. Carol was quick to help you and your dad in the kitchen, as Sophia wandered around, bored. The next ones that showed up were Maggie and Glenn, along with their kids. You immediately hit it off with the both of them, they were fun and lively, and very clearly in love with each other. As you were all in the kitchen helping out, with Sophia entertaining the kids in the background, the doorbell rang again and you said you would go answer it.
You opened the door and your eyes widened, an attractive man dressed in a sheriff's uniform was at the door. He looked exhausted, but clearly still put in an effort to clean up, his hair slicked back and his face shaven. He barely glanced at you, his tired eyes looking dazed and out of focus.
"Sorry to bother miss, I'm here for the party," his voice was deep and heavy and so so delectable.
"Are you Rick?" you asked, noticing how his eyes briefly flickering to you before looking again towards the house.
"Yes ma'am. And who might you be?" He asked, tired eyes staring straight forward, clearly not paying attention. You didn't like that.
"I'm [Y/N]," you motion into the house, "Please come in."
"Thank you," he mumbled, stress from recent events clearly weighing on him as he stepped into the hallway.
Although he moved to enter the house, you didn't move, causing him to have to brush past your body, the heat from him sending a jolt through you. He paused, looking down at you, and you gave a coy smile before finally taking a small step back. He didn't move, clearly wondering what your intent was and finally looking at you properly. His eyes slowly moved down your body as he took you in.
"What did you say your name was again, darlin?" He asked, his Adam's apple moving up and down while he admired you.
"My name is [Y/N]," you smiled as he repeated your name in a whisper.
"I don' think I've met you before, but your name sounds familiar. Where 're you from, sweetheart?" He asked, taking a step towards you as his frame towered over you.
The spell you cast on him was broken as your dad rounded the corner, "Rick! I was wonderin' when your sorry ass would show up! Come on in man, I got some beers in the fridge! Oh! I see you've met my daughter!"
You cursed internally seeing Rick immediately back away as he looked from your dad to you and back again, "Daughter? Yours?"
Your dad roared with laughter, "Don't wound a man by sounding so surprised! I'm not that ugly that no one can think she came from me, right?"
Rick gave a nervous chuckle, eyes flickering back to you as the shame of his attraction to you caused him to slightly flush. He quickly abandoned your side, greeting your dad as you closed the door and watched them from the corner of your eye. You knew you shouldn't hit on him, especially because he was probably an emotional wreck at the moment but, damn, he was fine to look at. As soon as your dad was called over by Glenn to help out with something, you made your move.
You walked up to Rick, putting a hand on his arm and leaning up to whisper in his arm, "Would you like me to take your jacket, sheriff?"
Rick jumped, swiveling his head to look at you. His eyes flicked down to your cleavage, before jumping back up to you.
"That'd be, uh, very sweet of you, darlin," he stammered, shrugging the heavy uniform jacket off of him as you watched his muscles under his clothing shift.
"Let me take that for you, sir," you saw him visibly tense at your words, before slowly handing you the jacket.
He watched you as you slowly hung it up on the wall.
"I hope he didn't scare you off," you say nonchalantly.
"'Scuse me?" He questioned, his brows furrowed as you turned back towards him.
"Nothin'," you smile, "Shall we?"
Throughout the rest of the prep time, you could feel Rick's eyes follow you everywhere. Although he didn't speak another word to you, his heavy gaze on your form made you want to tease him so badly. It was a fun game to try and catch his gaze, giving him a small, teasing smile as he would pretend that he wasn't just looking at you like you were a 5 course meal and he hadn't eaten in days. Other guests arrived, but you were too preoccupied playing this little game to give them much mind. It started with the gaze, but as more people began mingling, it became easier to tease him with physical touches. Nothing too forward, just the occasional brush against the arm or chest, with a small fake apology and smile.
~~~
Rick felt like he was dying. The most beautiful girl he ever laid his eyes on clearly wanting him and acting like such a little vixen. At first, Rick tried to ignore it, you were his best friend's fucking daughter for crying out loud. He was old enough to be your dad but, goddamnit, you made it so hard and he was so tired. Everything in his life went to shit after Lori divorced him and heaven finally gave him a break by sending him his own fucking blessing and what? He's supposed to ignore it? Those teasing little touches you sent his way, with the little smile that showed you knew exactly what you were doing. How the hell could he resist a temptation like that? His hands kept twitching by his side every time you brushed past him, desperate to grab onto your hips and rut against that plump ass of yours.
With all the stress of the divorce, court hearings and work, it was easy to break his resolve. Friendship damned, if he couldn't sink his cock into that sweet little cunt of yours, he felt like he'd die then and there. The next time you brushed past him, his hands shot out, grabbing onto your hips and pulling your back harshly against him.
You gasped as you felt his lips by your ear, "The hell you think you doin, darlin? Teasin a man like tha's not gonna end up well for you."
You leaned your head back against his shoulder, looking up at him with a smile, "Is it a tease if I intend to fulfill?"
Rick groaned at your words, fingers digging into the flush of your hips. The doorbell rang again and you took this moment to move away from him.
You shot him a smile over your shoulder, "Oops. Gotta get the door."
Rick practically felt himself grow feral, taking a step towards you before realizing he had to readjust his pants before the whole party knew what he was feeling. Damn little vixen.
You flung the door open, ready to greet whoever the hell it was and then make your way back to Rick.
"Hi- oh," your lust felt like it was doused in cold water seeing Daryl at the door.
He shifted from foot to foot, "Hi."
Neither of you said anything after that and the tension in the air was thick. You were so preoccupied you didn't see the man next to Daryl.
"Ahem," a deep voice cleared his throat and you jumped.
Your head whipped to the side and spotted the extremely attractive man standing next to Daryl. Like Rick, he was dressed in an officer's uniform but was missing the tell-tale sheriff's items.
"I was wondering when the pretty lady would notice me. Name's Shane, sweetheart," the man stuck his hand out for you to shake.
"Er, nice to meet you. My name's [Y/N]," you hesitantly shook his hand.
"[Y/N]? As in the famous [Y/N]? Your dad's been going on non-stop about you coming in for college but if I had known you would be so pretty, I would've been coming by to meet you much sooner," Shane shamelessly flirted with you.
You felt your face flush at his words. The past 2 men who caught your eye you had to go after, but this one was already ready and willing- not even caring that he's friends with your dad! It was a nice change of pace, if you were totally honest with yourself.
Daryl felt himself get a little annoyed at Shane's shameless flirting. There was no way in hell that he would have to turn down your advancements because of his loyalty to your father only for this nobody to come by and make a move.
"Okay! Well now tha' ya'll got acquainted with each 'otha, le's move this inside," he motioned for Shane to go in first.
Shane smirked and nodded, moving past you into the house and Daryl following behind, pausing in front of you.
"Lisen, [Y/N]... I didn' wanna hurt ya-" he began.
"Daryl, it's fine. Let's just pretend it never happened,“ you said, wanting to go back to the others already.
He nodded and wordlessly followed you inside.
Now that everyone was here, it was time to actually sit down and eat. You sat next to your dad and notice Rick almost run to sit next to you. He looked pissed and that was when you realized that you promised to come back to him but never did. Everyone sat down with Shane across from you and Daryl across from your dad. The conversation with everyone was lovely, with your dad giving you an embarrassing but heartfelt toast to your return.
"Excuse me, gorgeous, but do you mind passin' the cornbread?" Shane asked, even though the plate was not that far away from him.
"Can't ya ge' it yerself?" Daryl grumbled under his breath, but Shane caught it.
"I want to get something sweet from someone sweet is all," he grinned, unabashedly flirting with you.
Both Rick and Daryl's heads whip to look at your dad, but the man didn't even flinch, just happily chatting with Abraham about a college football game score.
You reached out to grab the cornbread, and leant over to give it to Shane. He gives a toothy smile and gives a thank you. He serves himself as you sit back down.
"Gorgeous, do ya mind gettin' me the green beans right in fron' of ya?" he asks for another plate pretty close to him.
"Uh, sure," you say, leaning over again,
This repeats for a few more times before Daryl demands to know why Shane can't get his own damn food.
"Well I get a mighty fine view," Shane grins, his eyes dropping down to your chest.
You flush, realizing that every time you leant over to grab the food and hand it to him, he got a perfect view of your breasts.
At his words, Rick grabs your thigh, pushes you back down into the seat and growls out, "Grab yer own damn food from now on."
Shane just smiles like a little shit and wordlessly eats while looking at you. You thought Rick would move his hand away after pulling you down, but you could still feel his bruising grip on your thigh. You try to move your leg away, but he yanks it towards him, moving his hand higher up, barely grazing your clothed pussy. Your eyes widen as you look at him, but all you see is his clenched jaw as he glares at Shane. Rick lets out a shaky breath and slowly releases you. He decided it would be a good idea to take a step away before he does something he regrets.
"Does anyone need some more beer? I can grab it from the kitchen," he called out, and almost everyone at the table shot their hands up.
Seeing this, your dad offers you up, "[Y/N], why don'cha help Rick out with that?"
Rick had to hold in a groan at your dad's words. Of fucking course no matter what, he won't be able to get away from you.
"I could help 'im out instead," Daryl offered but your dad declines, "Naw naw! I won' be havin' my guests doin' all the work! C'mon [Y/N]!"
Rick's dark gaze devoured you as you slowly nodded, "Yeah. Sure. No problem."
You make your way towards him and you both walk to the kitchen in silence. The kitchen is a closed off room, and you could feel your body heat up as Rick lets you in before him. You walk to the fridge and bend down to grab a pack of beers, but pause as you feel Rick's heat behind you. You slowly straighten up and can feel his chest against your back. His nose and lips graze the curve of your neck as he lets out a sigh.
"'M sorry, darlin," he groans before his hands shoot out and grab you, pulling you close.
You gasp as he tangles his fingers into your hair and pulls you in for a hungry kiss. The kiss is full of desperation and pent up frustration, Rick feeling the need to devour you before anyone else gets to even try. Rick groans at the feeling of you flush against him, the stress of life melting away as he tastes more and more of you. Your tongues battle against each other as he lifts you up and sets you on the countertop, coming in between your legs. He becomes more frantic with his movements, it's almost as if he believes if he lets you go for even a second, you would disappear. His hands roam, knead, and paw at you as he places harsh kisses against your face and neck. The added height of the countertop allows him to sink his head into the crook of your neck without needing to bend too much. You pant and let out soft little moans as he grinds against your clothed pussy, you quickly becoming drenched.
As he begins to suck on your neck, you push his head away, "Ngh, no marks..."
He groans, pulling down your shirt from the front and letting your breasts spill out. He begins to suck on them harshly, being able to leave marks that are easy to cover up. You moan out, trying to keep your voice down as you grind back against him, your hands pulling him in as close as you can.
Rick fumbles with the buttons of your pants, pulling them down and feeling your soaked slit through your panties. He groans, putting slight pressure on your pussy as he moves his finger up and down, trying to commit the feeling of your pretty pussy to memory. You pant heavily into his shoulder, whimpering.
"Fuck darlin', I need ta taste ya. Need ya so damn badly," he kneels down, licking you through your underwear and sucking your juices through them.
With the way he is lapping at you like a man starved, desperate for your touch, sends you on a power trip. You grind against his face, telling him to take them off of you so you can feel him. He growls at your demand, pulling away.
You whine at the loss of feeling and he lets out a scoff, "You've been teasin' me this whole damn time and ya think I'm gonna do what ya want?"
He grabs your legs and pulls you almost completely off the countertop, being held up by his arms. He balances you with one as his other hand pushes your panties to the side so he can fuck his tongue into you. You bite into your hand to keep yourself from moaning out as Rick begins to french kiss your pussy. You haven't been fucked since you arrived home, so you were quickly approaching an orgasm at his ministrations. It took one last harsh suck on your clit before you were pushed over the edge, waves of pleasure crashing over you. Rick continued to lap at you, riding you through your orgasm. He eventually pulled away when you began to squirm, leaning up and firmly kissing you, making you taste your own cum.
Between kisses, he apologized, "'m so sorry, darlin. 'm so sorry, but I gotta be in ya. Need to feel your pretty pussy all wet and wrapped around me. Yer my good girl, my little piece o' heaven. You can do this f'me, yeah baby? Just need to be in ya."
He pulls his swollen cock out, the tip red and angry. He rubs the head up and down your slit, tapping against your clit and making you whine. He collected your wetness on it and began to push in.
"Well, well, well. Look at wha' we have 'ere," Shane's voice drawled, the man leaning against the doorframe.

Hello, sorry to bother you but can I ask a question about the warrior cats disability post you reblogged earlier? And I mean this in good faith, honestly, I want to understand.
I haven't read warrior cats, but just from what was described in the post, it sounds... realistic? Since not everyone bounces back from becoming disabled. For example, a coworker and I (in a labor intensive field) have the same injury to our knee. He, I guess you could say has responded "well" to his injury. He has a higher drive to push past pain, not let it limit what he can do, and is able to work as hard, or harder, than non-disabled coworkers, but he is still absolutely disabled. In his case, he often overworks himself and thus ends up having to take off several days to recover and is on a lot of pain medication, both Rx and self medicated. In the scenario presented in the post, he would def be able to stay in the warrior class. But I didn't respond well to my injury, and don't react well to pain. I fell into a deep deep depression that took almost 8 years to crawl out of. Doing the exact same tasks as he does, I work slower and more carefully, avoiding pain at all costs rather than pushing past/despite pain. I'm slower, not as effective. But I don't need to take time off or frequent breaks to recover, and though it takes a little longer, I do just as much work as he does at the end of the week when accounting for the time he takes to recover. I like to imagine that I've reacted to my injury well, but can't help feeling inadequate and worthless when compared to coworker. Especially on days that we work side by side and he's running quite literal circles around me. And remember, we have the exact same injury with very similar causes and only a few months time difference.
From what I understand of the culture of Warrior cats (which is admittedly very very little) I imagine I'd end up in a healer class as well, even if I wished I could be warrior class. I would give almost anything to work as fast, as effectively, as hard as coworker does. But I can't.
So I guess what I'm asking is, what am I missing from the narrative, as someone who hasn't read warrior cats, that makes a character, who has not returned to their former glory after an injury, a poor representation of disability? As the post stands on its own right now, it just feels like it's kicking disabled people when they're down for not acting like they're still fully abled. Like shaming a paralyzed person for not joining a sport.
I have to assume that it's just poorly worded for anyone outside the fandom, but it really does come of as... well... ableist. Which is what drove me to ask, since making assumptions of ableism is generally kinda shitty, and I am curious about the source material.
I hope I didn't come off aggressive or let my emotions on the subject get carried away here, genuinely sorry if it does come off rude. I promise am asking in good faith because I want to understand from a creative standpoint if the narrative actually handled it poorly, and how-so, to help myself and others potentially avoid making the same artistic mistakes.
Thank you for taking the time to read this wall of text, and again, so sorry for bothering you!
No no!! Not aggressive or rude or anything of the sort :D
I’ll be honest, I didn’t read the full text, but I got the gist of it so I’ll try to answer aptly ^^
The problem with Warriors isn’t that there isn’t disability representation - there is, it’s just. Awful. Why? Because almost every single disabled character, sans THREE, in a series that has thousands of named characters, is FORCED into a role they don’t want - or KILLED. Solely for being disabled, solely for being “different”.
It’s not that they necessarily chose that life for themselves, it’s that it was forced upon them, which is where so many fans (reasonably) draw issue with. Disabled characters are offered the bare minimum in Warriors canon. Either they’re essentially forced to become a doctor, with the trope of “the broken-bodied healing the able-bodied” (which personally unsettled me greatly), or they’re shipped off to the elder’s den, which is a place where cats retire due to old age and are cared for by their Clanmates, usually without ever having the chance to prove themselves, and display both their abilities and weaknesses. They’re just automatically shoved into this corner.
There was a Deaf character, once, in the decades-long span of this book series, that was told he would never become a warrior solely because of his deafness - and then was immediately killed off in a manner that was almost never used again as a device to kill a character.
There was a character who was hit by a car and, as a result, ended up losing the function of one of her back legs. Prior to this, she was training as any other young member of her society would. Immediately after? She became a doctor.
There was a character who became blind due to an outside force, and, despite being the equivalent of maybe a thirty-year-old, immediately retired to the elder’s den.
There was a born blind character who fought to train as a warrior, under a half-blind warrior. He was doing well in his training - until the in-universe religion came down to him and forced him to give up his dreams in order to become a doctor. Granted, his case was a little more complicated and intermingled with plot, but it still stands.
There was a character with anxiety who was a poor hunter, and was pressured to become a doctor because of his lack of skills.
There was a character who was paralyzed, and was dismissed as dead, or “better off dead”, by almost everyone around her - INCLUDING HER OWN FAMILY - except the blind character, who found kinship with her and fought tooth-and-nail to keep her alive and healthy.
And the thing is? These characters are CATS! Cats, who have been documented living alone in the wild with these sort of disabilities and thriving!! Which makes it all the more frustrating to see a narrative built around the appeal of cats, have them have this whole support system and community, and that community actively turn their backs on them.
It’s not about them choosing. It’s about them being forced. Not having any opportunity to grow, or learn, or allow others around them to do the same in regards to them. There’s no acceptance here. In universe, it seems like they’re just shoved into the shadows so the able bodied characters don’t have to look at them or think too hard about them, unless they’re healing their wounds.
The characters themselves are not the poor representation. It’s how the authors have handled them - by shoving them aside, to the shadows, to the dogs. It’s frustrating and disheartening.

ASDFDSADF I am sorry for showing up uninvited but oh my god that other asks speaks to me! I joined Eruri fandom in January and the whole "you are a fake Eruri if you love Levi more than Erwin" thing (someone posted several screenshots of Eruri shippers and blamed them for liking Levi more????) happened back in the first or second day of February so I was pretty new to Eruri and its fandom and it ruined my entire vibe because I'm not interested in fandom dramas I just want calm and nice fandom interactions. You probably understand me considering how I have never seen you involved in any shipping or fandom drama. Anyway, that really made me feel :/ about this ship and 2-3 days later I saw someone mocking OC shippers and L*vihan shippers "oh he's a gay man he'd not fuck you you can't call yourself a Levi stan if you don't ship him with Erwin" and I was only a baby Eruri, only for a month and I thought no matter how amazing the ship is the fandom was terrible but luckily I saw how the fandom reacted to that first tweet they were all joking about how they are fake eruris for random reasons and thank god I stayed around to see that because for me honestly Eruri is the best ship ever and I really enjoy all the fan arts and fanfics but that tweet still haunts me SDFGdsadf some people need to realize that Erwin's position didn't allow him to get close to anyone else and his deepest bond was with Levi so a huuuuge majority of Erwin stans ship Eruri while Levi is extremely popular especially in Japan and he interacts with other characters more and he's "shipping shaped"/perfect for shipping so I think his stans are often multishippers and that's why it seems like Eruri is an Erwin ship to that other person, there is no consipracy theory or anything, it's simple as that. I know some Eruri fans pick fights or argue with other Levi ships but my experience after that tweet was very calm and wholesome, I think it's because Eruri is a mature ship? Most Eruri shippers I see are adults. (Sorry if I sent this twice I am drunkish but I got excited because lol that was my first Eruri drama and I never saw anyone else mention it before) love your blog by the way lots of love <3
Ooh....right! This is actually starting to ring a bell now! I do remember seeing people posting the most hilarious shit about being fake Eruris, but I missed the original tweets that caused the whole drama in the first place. This is invariably what happens, I miss the actual drama and end up catching the tail end of the fall out which leaves me completely confused. Literally me when there is drama on the timeline 😂
Tumblr media
Fandom, by its nature, attracts people who tend to be...a little obsessive (to put it mildly) and no fandom is immune to drama, no matter how old or supposedly mature the fans are. The Eruri fandom is no exception. However I do think that with an older fanbase there is a better chance that drama will be viewed more dimly and shut down more rapidly when it inevitably arises. This is a case in point. I have no idea if anyone took the original posts serious or not (I hope not) but the fandom was pretty quick to turn the whole thing into a joke and pour ridicule on the idea that you were a "fake Eruri" if blah blah blah.
Anyway, I'm so glad you didn't let this nonsense put you off the Eruri fandom Anon and I'm glad you stuck around to enjoy all the amazing fic and art that we've been blessed with over the years.

Hi K<3
it’s the meal-eating tinder girl? i guess you could call me that? lmao it’s been a while!!
lots have happened since i sent that ask saying that meal making tinder guy had ended things
(he reached out after like three weeks saying how he still wanted to eat breakfast with my family, yet said «uhm…we haven’t spoken in like three weeks, what do you think??🤣» when i DARED to ask if he thought we should start talking again considering HE contacted ME🙂🙂)
((aaand i don’t think i’ve mentioned this before but we do go to the same school and this man could not look me in my eyes but would send me a snap about something entirely dumb like complaining about his yoghurt every time i walked past him))
anyway, that’s not what i’m here to complain about
i’m really sorry for venting to you but none of my friends get me on this😭
but i fucking miss getting my nipples sucked:( i have TEARED UP on several occasions just thinking about it!!! and idk what to do w myself!!!!!!
i’ve tried getting back on tinder but i just cant get over how attracted to him i was😩😩 objectively he’s not that hot and NONE of my friends agree with me on this (except one, who just refers to him as «butt», cause he has a glorious one)
but like he was just so BIG and BUFF and BURLY and his fucking neck tattoo made me WEAK IN THE KNEES and i sometimes just get these flashes of him whimpering in my ear when he came and i cannot fucking deal.
i need to get a grip, this is the same man who ate three whole boiled eggs with nothing else for breakfast. just the eggs. put them in a bowl and asked if i would like to sit outside with him. so i did. sat there on the lawn while he ate three whole boiled eggs right next to me. then drove me to work and the smell followed me all day. i can still feel it sometimes.
ANYWHO thank you for giving me some of your time. do feel free to ignore this
i hope you gave a lovely rest of your day, whatever time it is when you read this❤️
🤭😂 There is so much in this Ask and it made me laugh so hard in some parts omfg. Babe! I'm so happy to hear from you, my goodness.
First of alllllll, ugh I don't like this man! He wants to eat breakfast with your family and send you snaps but won't make eye contact with you and tries to make you feel dumb for wanting to make it work again?? EWW.
UGH, babe I'm so so so sorry. 😩 As a nipple sucking enthusiast I seriously feel for you.
He had a good ass, he had neck tattoos, he was BIG and BUFF and BURLY and whimpered in your ear when he came...but we keep those as fantasies and spank bank material because we deserve better in our real relationship.
not the eggs this is so fucking funny i just started laughing and kept laughing fuck
I'm sorry it took me a while to respond to this and I hope you're feeling happy and healthy! Lub you lots. 💕

I really miss being a preschool teacher!! Kids are fun and never ever boring 🙌🏼
At least I had LBAF'S newest chapter to look forward to...
The One with the Equal
Magnus kept telling himself that he would simply run into the boy in a century or two.
He can’t really be dead, can he?
He cannot, he is NOT!
Tumblr media
Look at him sleep so sweetly. As if he hadn’t been causing earthquakes in the Baltic Ocean an hour ago.
🤣🤣🤣
It took them less than a minute to find him – with the magic of tracking and pure parental terror.
Malec are strong AF because I would have die 3 times if mi bebé precioso had called me in such a panic 😭😭😭
“She is still breathing,” Alec yelled as he picked the girl up, she was limp and unconscious in his arms. “Magnus. We have to go.”
Oh thank every force in the universe, I was actually scared of the "Dani strike again" but alas, you've shown mercy this time!!
“Magnus, we don’t have the time. We have to get her help,” Alec said urgently.
Yes, there is, take it, take it taaaaake it!!!
His pale eyes filled with regret. “It’s real.”
Well duh... all of this could have been avoided if you hadn’t treated him like the crazy bitch he was!!
Gigi wanted to say something dramatic like ‘I don’t need Lexi! I need answers!’.
Tumblr media
Marcus didn’t deserve an ironic death. He deserved a painful one.
I agree!! I wanted fire lots and lots of fire!! 🔥🔥
Rafael kissed her hand. “You like him, don’t you?”
Who doesn't like my son?? He is the sweetness 🥰
Hot tears started to fall down his cheeks. Rafael sobbed quietly as he held her hand and begged her to come back to him.
¡Ay no! Mi bebé precioso no llores, ¡rápido que alguien abrace a mi bebé! 😭😭😭
“Like your dad,” bapak said gently. “I like it even more now.”

Hi Love, I hope you're doing alright. I saw both of your posts about not doing well and getting medicine for your panic disorder.
And I wanna say. I'm so proud of you for taking that step. The first step of getting a doctor and getting the meds is always the hardest.
I do have a few tips, although I don't have a panic disorder. I have severe depression, anxiety and adhd.
(Down below is quite a bit of info. Perhaps even scary/nervewracking. And I'm not trying to scare you so I'm so sorry if I do. I just want you to know some things that I didn't personally know when I first started taking meds)
I want to note though. Keep your head up. Don't stop trying. The first medicine doesn't always work for everyone. The whole process is trial and error to find the one that works for you. So if it doesn't help, don't feel too bad yeah?
I know that for me, it took 5 different types before getting to Zoloft which works for me. And I'm currently on my 4th attempt to find one for my Adhd.
I read in your thing of if get weightloss from meds. I'm sure your doctor mentioned it but I want to mention it. If you're someone whose weight fluctuates and you find your self lose or gain 10 pounds. It's not bad. But keep an eye on it, make sure it's not a constant and only a sudden one and done.
For me. Zoloft made me gain 15 pounds. And after trying so many times to get a med to work. I honestly don't care. I'd rather be mentally okay. Ofc it's different for everyone but just know it's normal.
Something my doctor never mentioned, was be absolutely careful when it comes to missing your meds. Some meds it's totally okay to just drop it. But others like Zoloft and high dosages, If you cold turkey it, it can Hurt a lot.
If you get any symptoms of feeling sick within first two days of taking a new med. Stop. Idc what a doctor says "you'll get used to it" or "it's a gradual thing" absolutely not. The pain and suffering of getting sick from a medicine is not worth it. I tried powering through once before and I severely regret it.
There's good doctors and bad doctors. Good who actually do the research on meds and bad who go based off of old informational packets.
Idk about most meds. But if a doc says "this used to be used for this. But it's not anymore cause it doesn't work" DONT. if you get prescribed it. Research it before taking one.
I got prescribed blood pressure meds that my doctor said "isn't used to treat that anymore" and said it will help me sleep. I probably almost died cause I already have low blood pressure and got given meds to lower blood pressure.
That's all I can remember at the moment. But If you have any questions, you're more than welcome to come to my DMs.
I really hope you have a safe experience and find something that helps you. We all care for you and wish you the best.
Hello my sweet kind anon🤍 Whoever you are, this means lot to me, you coming into my askbox to encourage me. You're sweetheart🤍🤍
No worrries, you didn't scare me at all !! I am thankful for these tips!!
Yes, you're totally right!! I know, mental health is more important than number of your weight and I need to learn that. If I will be heavier but happier, I won't care too!!
Oh my, I didn't know that!!! That it isn't good to feel sick when taking meds! My doctor didn't tell me about it😶 Thank you so much for telling me, oh my god!! I just need to talk about my doctor about it! And I need to change my meds probably too! 🤔
Oh my god, I am sorry for you that you almost died!!! That's horrible but it's doctor's fault!! How could this happen??!! This stuff shouldn't NEVER happen. Some doctors really should think before saying!!!
But you know what, I am happy for you that you found meds - Zoloft and that it helped you!!
i just had phone call with my doctor, i am gonna take other meds!!
Thank you so much sweet nonnie, you're an angel!! And I am here for you too, if you needed me, anytime. I'll try to help you. I love you so much!
And you're damn strong!! Know that
We all can do that!!!!

For the hurt/comfort prompts could you do 17/22? If it's not to much of a bother of course.
Absolutely! I was watching Sojiro’s social link again and getting emotional about it again. Apparently I’m just having a Time to Hurt Futaba Week. Sorry in advance? Under a cut cause I have no idea how long this is gonna be, and also trigger warning for references to her past neglect.
17 - “Hey, listen to me. You’re safe. Nothing is going to hurt you.” 22 - “They won’t take you away from me ever again.”
Send me a hurt/comfort prompt and I’ll (hopefully) write you a thing!
It had been three days since Youji Isshiki’s most recent unannounced visit. Three days since he’d threatened to report Akira to the police for having the gall to not let the man deck him. Three days since Isshiki swore he’d sue the clothes off of Sojiro’s back and the cafe into the ground. Three stressful days of waiting and stocking up on medicine in preparation for Joker’s first solo trip into Mementos in the many months since he’d become a Phantom Thief.
Sojiro didn’t know that last part. All he knew was he’d found himself awake in the middle of the night, probably somewhere closer to morning than midnight but not close enough to sunrise to warrant actually waking up. The house was quiet, he was perfectly comfortable, not to mention still tired enough to be sleeping, which meant why he’d even woken up was a mystery. And then something clattered loudly in the kitchen downstairs, followed by a sharp yelp. Futaba. Sojiro didn’t actually think she was hurt, not really. She was perfectly capable of fixing herself a snack and tended to be up at all hours of the night. Nothing out of the ordinary. Really, there wasn’t any reason for him to be concerned, but... it was better to go down and check just to be sure.
He’d expected to find Futaba raiding the fridge, maybe dusting off and muttering curses at an eating utensil that had jumped out of her hand while she was cooking. Instead, she was curled up on the floor, hands pressed to the headphones over her ears and holding on with a white-knuckled grip, tears streaming down her face as she watched the broth from an overturned instant yakisoba spread across the kitchen floor. His daughter shrunk further into herself when she noticed him standing nearby and her shallow, hiccuping breaths were quickly approaching out-and-out hyperventilation. It had been a long while since Futaba had had any issues with food, not like she did when she’d first arrived from her uncle’s care, if one could even call it that. With his surprise reappearance, it wasn’t much of a surprise that she’d relapsed.
In the early days when Sojiro had just taken her in, the only indication she’d eaten anything was the occasional package of instant noodles or container of leftover curry gone missing, “stolen” from their usual spots. A few weeks of reassurances and a well placed sticky note in the lid of a particularly good batch of curry finally got through to her. Sojiro had never once failed in that promise to feed her whenever she asked, no matter what or when, and frequently even made a point of pushing her to eat after she’d started locking herself in her room. Even if she’d healed considerably since then, there were still days the old fear of going hungry or being screamed at for needing to eat lingered and while those scars on her heart may have faded, they never really went away.
It was just one more thing Sojiro hated not knowing how to fix for her. At least he had plenty of practice talking her through it. He stepped over the cooling puddle of broth and settled on the floor next to her, then slowly raised a hand to put on her shoulder. Futaba flinched away at first, but then pressed into the touch. She made no effort to move from where she was hunched on the floor, though, so Sojiro settled for running his hand over her hair.
“ ‘m sorry,” she hiccuped, “I wasted--”
“Futaba.” His voice was gentle, but firm when he cut her off. “Just breathe. You could have dumped out a whole week’s worth of curry for the cafe and I wouldn’t care. Are you alright? Did you burn yourself?” She shook her head. “Can you tell me what happened?” She nodded. “Alright. Deep breaths. Take as much time as you need.” Futaba gulped down a few breaths and inched a little closer to Sojiro as he kept petting her head.
“I had a... had a nightmare. I was at U-uncle’s again because he won... he won custody. He wasn’t letting me eat,” she explained shakily. “Ak-kira was in jail because of me and-and-and you were on the street b-because he took the cafe and... and he was right, I really am cursed--” she sobbed and buried her face in her hands.
“You are not.” Sojiro pulled her into his arms and hugged her tight while she cried. “That deadbeat wouldn’t know a good thing if it punched him in the nose, and you, Futaba Sakura, are the greatest blessing in this old man’s life.” He squeezed her once for emphasis, and she hugged him right back. They sat like that for a few minutes while she got her breathing back under control.
She let out a trembling sigh that shook her whole body. “I just wanted to make myself some food, remind myself that I’m okay. That’s all. Didn’t mean to wake you up. I’m sorry.” Futaba mumbled against his undoubtedly tears-and-snot soaked nightshirt. She took another shuddering breath and tensed in his arms again. “He’s gonna try and take everything from you because of me, because we haven’t been able to--” His arms tightened protectively around her.
“Hey, listen to me. You’re safe. Nothing is going to hurt you. He won’t take you from me ever again. Nobody will.” Sojiro assured her adamantly. “I will do everything in my power to protect our family, understand?” She nodded, arms still locked tight around him.
“Way to go, super dad,” Futaba chuckled weakly, still muffled against his chest.
Sojiro patted her head again with a chuckle of his own. “Nothing super about doing what I should’ve from the beginning.” And then her panicked babbling finally registered in his head. “Wait, what did you mean ‘we haven’t been able to’? Haven’t been able to what?” He asked flatly, pulling back just far enough out of the hug to see the sheepish look on her face. Sojiro fixed her with his best Stern Dad Look in return, then shook his head. “Y’know what, forget I asked. Help your old man up, will you?”
If a bright red calling card turned up with Youji Isshiki’s name on it, Sojiro didn’t need to know anything about it. It wasn’t as though he could be mad, not when he just said he’d do anything to protect the family. Expecting anything else of the two Phantom Thieves under his roof would just make him an old hypocrite.
Futaba disentangled herself and offered him a hand. He pulled himself up to his feet with a grunt and set to cleaning up the sad, cold mess that had been his daughter’s intended comfort food.
“I’ll replace this in the morning.” He said as he dumped the soggy mess into the trash. “So, you have your heart set on instant yakisoba, or can I heat us up some curry before we go back to bed?”
The way her face lit up was answer enough.

I hope i'm not bothering you, i remember seeing this tik tok a while ago where a boy climbed on his mom's lap to see her reaction and his mom went "what do you want?? Leave" but shortly after she started smooching his cheeks and he was squirming around in her grip while she hugged him closer to her giggling. So uh... If that's okay could i request the teen mc doing this to the brothers to see their reactions? Like, at first it started as an experiment and now it's a regular thing they do whenever they want attention👉🏻👈🏻 i can imagine the bros sitting down on purpose waiting for them to sit in their laps.
Totally not just finished crying because i was jealous cause i never got much attention and affection as a child and now i project that need onto fictional characters noo🙄 couldn't be me-
teen MC comfort
reader: gender neutral, no pronouns used
tw/cw: none! <3
author's note: THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY THANK YOU FOR THIS- but i never got that much attention as a kid either don't worry- i think that's why my love language is now physically touch🧍‍♂️anyways this basically turned into "showing off my favorite video games to the brothers because i really want to rant to them about my interests" type deal, so uh- please forgive me for that-
Tumblr media
lucifer
Lucifer had just finished his work and sat down in his study for some nice quiet time when you walked in, blanket wrapped around your shoulders.
"Yes, MC?" Lucifer asked, clearly tired as he took a sip from his coffee.
You didn't say anything, just kept walking closer to him. Lucifer sat his mug down just as you plopped onto his lap.
"MC?"
"Yes, Dad?"
"What are you doing?"
He was annoyed, and anybody could tell. For days you've been calling him Dad, and Lucifer racked his brain for the reason why. He was old, sure, but did he really give off the vibes of a dad? Did people look at him and think he had a child? Him, Lucifer, Avatar of Pride, have a pathetic and whiny little kid? Not only that, but you just interrupted his quiet time to sit on his lap!
"MC, if you don't need anything, then leave."
You didn't move an inch.
This kept happening for several days. You'd catch Lucifer not doing anything and then just appear out of no where to sit atop his lap.
Lucifer hated admitting it, but he kind of enjoyed it. You were this young, fragile human, and yet you trusted Lucifer enough to do this with him. In a way, it reminded him of when his brothers were young.
He missed those days.
"MC, seriously. Why do you do this?" Lucifer rubbed his temples just as you settled into your usual spot, human realm video game console in hand.
You looked over your shoulder to the older demon, a hurt expression on your face. "Do you really want me to stop? I'm sorry-"
Just as you make a move to stand, Lucifer wraps his arms around you and pulls you back down. He seems to realize just what he's done later than you do, and his face erupts into a scarlett hue.
"I'm sorry, MC, that was rude of me to do."
"So you do like being my dad!"
Lucifer just opened Pandora's box. After that, no matter what he did, you would always come and sit on his lap. When you knew he had a rough day, you'd bring a video game with you to tell him about it.
"This is Undertale! It looks a little crappy to some people, but the graphics don't make the game."
Lucifer would rest his chin on your shoulder, watching your little character walk around, interacting with cute pixel monsters. His arms were wrapped around your waist, and the blanket you brought in was draped over his shoulders.
"This is Toriel! You remind me of her. She's very sweet, and she just wants what's best for you. You have to battle her later on to leave the ruins, because she's scared of you getting hurt and doesn't want you to go."
Lucifer gives you a side glance. Your face was illuminated by the screen, eyes shining, smiling a happy, carefree smile.
Lucifer was just like Toriel. He didn't want you to go, either.
mammon
Mammon just got back from a call for the witches, and he was tired. His limbs ached, his feet hurt, and all he wanted to do was lie down in his bed and sleep.
Unfortunately for him, you existed.
You waddle into his room, Ruri-Chan blanket that Levi gave you since he "accidentally" bought doubles under your arm. You give Mammon a cheeky smile before basically throwing yourself atop him.
"What the-?! Just what do you think you're doing?! Just 'cause you're a kid doesn't mean I won't punt you into the sun!"
You're unfazed by his threat, mostly because you were the one to teach it to him. You settle into Mammon's lap, yawning.
"Get off me, MC!"
"No."
"Why not?!"
"I don't want to."
Damn this kid is good, Mammon thinks.
After a lot of thrashing around, with no movement on your part, Mammon just gives up and lets you sit on him.
This happens several times, and Mammon starts to catch himself actually looking forward to you doing this. He gives you subtle hints, plopping himself down next to you when you're curled up on the couch in the living room, sighing.
"I sure wish there was someone to sit on my lap and, I don't know, tell me about what game they were playing?" Mammon looks at you, giving you puppy dog eyes.
"Ask Levi."
Mammon's puppy dog eyes vanish, and he pouts.
You burst into laughter, nearly dropping your gaming console. "Okay, okay- I'll do it."
Mammon lights up. You settle into his lap, Mammon leaning his head on your shoulder as you curl up. His arms wrap around your waist.
"I'm playing Night In The Woods. It's a story-based game centered around these cute humanoid animals. You remind me a lot of Gregg, actually." You glance at your friend, who is currently staring wide-eyed at the main character, who's a cat.
"Is that Gregg?" he whispers. "They're cute! I wanna play!"
"No! You'll meet Gregg later on- calm down!" You laugh as Mammon tries taking the game from you.
"Fine," he whines. "But you better promise to let me play!"
"I will!"
Mammon holds out his pinkie, and you wrap your own around it.
"Okay, now start playing! I wanna meet Gregg."
Mammon has never felt more happy than he did in this moment. You were special to him, almost like his own little sibling. Mammon didn't want to let you go.
leviathan
Oh? You're challenging him?
As soon as you walked up to Levi, an evil look on your face, he jumped to his feet, brandishing his Ruri-Chan plushie at you like it was a sword.
"Back off, fiend! For I, Levi, destroyer of worlds, conqueror of kingdoms, will-"
You poked his cheek. "Can I sit on your lap?"
R.I.P Levi, 2021
"Wha-what?! Me?! Why me?!" Levi gawks at you.
You shrug. "You look comfortable to lay on."
R.I.P Levi 2021, yet again.
"Beel is probably a lot more comfortable, though," Levi huffs, turning away from you.
"But you're my favorite uncle! C'mon, Levi, please?!"
R.I.P L- You get the picture.
"Fine! B-but don't go crying to Lucifer if I don't live up to your expectations!"
You cheer and tackle Levi into a hug. He yelps, falling back onto his gaming chair. It rolls back a little and bumps into his bathtub bed as you nestle into his lap.
"Tell me about the recent game you're playing!" you smile, and Levi can't say no to his favorite normie.
"W-well, it's not exactly a new game. It's kinda old. Have you played it?" Levi reaches into his coat pocket to pull out the Devildom equivalent of a 3Ds. "I-it's called Majora's Mask."
You lay your head on Levi's chest and hum. "I've never played it before," you whisper. "Can I watch you play it?"
Levi just about explodes from how happy he is. "A-ah, yes please! I'm actually on the second temple right now, but I'll fill you in! Basically, this is a sequel to another Zelda game called Ocarina of Time..."
You smile up at the purple haired demon, who looks like he has stars in his eyes. He's shaking with excitement. Not many people, especially his brothers, want to listen to him rant about his interests, but you were different.
Levi couldn't be more grateful that Lucifer picked you for the exchange program.
satan
Satan was out in the garden, stray cats wandering about around him just as you walked in, rubbing your eyes.
"Ah, MC!" Satan grins, closing his book. "What brings you out here today?"
You dodge the cats that swarm at your feet and plop down next to Satan on the swinging bench. The chains rattle, and the bench begins to gently sway.
"I missed you."
Satan chuckles. "That's expected."
You stick out your tongue, and Satan does the same, mocking you. This was common between the two of you. Satan would tease you, and you'd stick your tongue out at him. That, or flip him off. But Lucifer would get mad at you for that.
Satan obviously encourages you to flip him off, just so he can watch Lucifer blow a few screws.
"Can I sit on your lap?" you ask out of the blue.
The blonde blinks. "Why?"
"Because the cats look comfortable when they lay on your lap," you reply, "and I wanna be comfortable, too."
"Alright, kiddo." Satan uses that damned nickname, and you stick your tongue out at him yet again. But you still settle onto his lap anyways, yawning.
"You sleep almost as much as Belphegor," he teases, but you're too tired to care. You let your eyes droop shut, and just like that you're fast asleep in Satan's arms.
"MC?"
You don't respond. He sighs, hugging you close to him. He places a sweet kiss to your temple, his hair tickling your nose as he does so.
"Night, kiddo," he whispers, and opens up his book again.
Satan was content. For the first time in his life, wrath wasn't lingering in the back of his mind. He was at peace, and it was all because of you.
asmodeus
Asmo, like usual, bursts into your room while you were in the middle of counting the money you and Mammon cheated off some human.
They were rude, it was well deserved! >:(
Asmo looks at you, then to the giant wad of cash you have in your hands, then to you again.
He chooses to ignore it.
A wise choice.
"MC," he coos, and you sigh, shoving the money into your wallet. You knew that tone of voice. Asmo was up to no good.
"Yes?"
"So, get this! I saw this thing online and-"
"No."
Asmo deflates like a balloon. "Aww, c'mon MC! Please?!" he whines. He takes your hands in his, giving you the best, most saddest pair of puppy dog eyes that he can muster up.
You don't budge.
"Fine!" he pouts. "It's not like I wanted you to sit on my lap anyways! You're not my little sibling or anything, nope! Just some human who's adorable and so fragile and cute and oh please MC, can we do it, please?!"
"Fine!" you finally yell, flustering. Asmo just looked so sad, and it was starting to get pathetic.
In reality you just didn't want to see him upset but shhh don't tell him that
You hesitantly lower yourself onto Asmo's lap, with him beaming like a kid on Christmas. He hugs your waist, squealing, rocking you back and forth.
"Asmo- stop!" you laugh as he peppers kisses all over your cheeks.
"You're just so cute! Like a little kid! I'm gonna ask Lucifer if we can officially adopt you!"
beelzebub
Beezlebub and you were the only two left at the dinner table. You had kitchen duty, so you were just waiting for Beel to finish eating as you scroll through your D.D.D.
A video pops up on your feed, and you decide to watch it, keeping your volume turned down as to not disturb Beel. A little pudgy kid waddles up to his mother, smiling, giving her grabby hands.
"What do you want?" the mother grins. "Go away."
The kid just laughs, jumping up and down until the mother picks him up and places him on her lap. She starts to kiss his chubby red cheeks, and the little kid laughs, whining: "Mooooom, stop!"
You can't contain your own smile.
"Beel, can we do this?"
The orange haired demon looks up, cheeks resembling a chipmunk's. He blinks, looks at your phone, then back to you, then swallows his food.
"Do what?"
You show him the video. Beel takes another huge bite from his food.
"Okay."
"I expected more of a protest," you hum, but get up anyways, giddy.
"Why?" Beel asks, genuinely confused. He pushes himself away from the table a bit so you have more room. You shrug, then sit on his lap, smiling happily.
"I feel like a kid again."
Beel hugs you close, still eating. "Why? Aren't you already still a kid?"
"No. Technically, yes. But no."
"Oh."
Beel finishes eating and looks at you. "Well, you'll always be a kid to me."
"I don't know how to take that," you chuckle. "But thank you, Beelie."
belphegor
Belphegor's personality doesn't just revolve around sleeping all day.
... However he is the Avatar of Sloth, so it's kind of hard to not catch this man napping the day away, which makes it hard for you to crawl into his lap like a little kid. But rest assured, (no pun intended), that you will catch Belphie awake, and you will sit in his lap, if it's the last thing you do.
Which it will probably be, considering he choked you after you hugged him.
You wander around the house, looking for the youngest demon brother. You look in the living room, the library, even in Levi's room! He screamed when you randomly busted inside, trying to hide the obvious dating sim character he was talking to on his phone.
Honestly, same Levi
"I'm never gonna find Belphie," you grumble.
"Why not?" a voice asks.
"Because he's stupid and good at hiding and- wait. Belphie!"
You tackle him, Belphegor laughing as he catches you in his arms. He twirls you, you giggling like crazy.
"You're so mean to me, you know that?" You flick Belphegor's forehead.
"You're like my own little human sibling, of course I'm going to be mean to you." Belphegor lightly headbutts you in response. "But what did you need me for?"
"I wanna sit in your lap."
"You mean, like a kid?"
"Yeah."
"Like a baby?"
"Yes, Belphie."
"Like a little pathetic-"
"Belphegor I swear I will kick your balls if you don't shut up."
Belphegor gives you a cheeky smile before rolling his eyes. "Fine, I'll let you sit in my lap, you big baby."
Cut to the two of you in the living room, Belphegor napping as you play video games on your phone, resting atop his lap. He stirs, you grumbling as you get hit by an enemy. You pause your game and look to the youngest demon sibling.
"I could kill you right now, Belphie."
"You wouldn't dare," he replies, sleep slurring his words.
You just laugh, not saying anything afterwards, going back to your game.

Savior
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jim Kirk x Reader
Word Count: 1545
Rating: PG, no warning except general stupidity.
A/N: I posted this to AO3. This is a Song!Fic based off Savior by Rise Against. I do not own any of the characters or the song. This is my first story here in a very long time, go easy on me. Enjoy :)
“It kills me not to know this, but I've all but just forgotten what the color of her eyes were and her scars or how she got them,” Jim leaned back on his stool as McCoy poured them each another round. Jim had loved you so much, yet now looking back, he scarcely remembered the things that made you you. Leonard didn’t have to say anything, he just regarded the Captain silently. Jim didn’t need to hear what wise words the doctor could have imparted, Jim already knew that he had missed out on the greatest thing in his life because you had both been young, dumb, and toxic to each other.
As the telling signs of age rain down
A single tear is dropping
Through the valleys of an aging face
That this world has forgotten
You sat at the bar like you did most nights in the town that had alway been your prison. You had had huge dreams and unimaginable goals for yourself, but you had never acted on any of it. Maybe you had always hoped that he would saunter back into that bar one night and tell you that he loved you. You had heard that he went on to become Captain of a starship. He had long since moved on from you, why couldn’t you do the same.
There is no reconciliation
That will put me in my place
And there is no time like the present
To drink these draining seconds
Leonard can tell that the Captain had had enough to drink. Jim always grabbed up his comm badge and tried to call you, but no one knew where to find you and Leonard hoped that you had moved on.
Guilt. That was the only emotion that Jim could muster up where you were mentioned. He had been so stupid and so wild. Had he dialed it back a few notches, maybe you would have been right there with him.
Flashback:
But seldom do these words ring true
When I'm constantly failing you
Walls that we just can't break through
Until we disappear
“(Y/N), will you just stop?” you flung the last of your clothes into your suitcase and you just needed your keys. “Can we please just talk about it? I said I’m sorry. I didn’t know it was tonight.” You stopped in your tracks and glared at Jim. He was so arrogant and full of himself, of course he didn’t remember something that was about you. For you.
Jim had missed dinner with you and your parents. He was supposed to meet them tonight since you two had been dating for several months. An hour had passed and your parents had tried to be polite and patient. Two hours came and went and your parents took pity on you and came up with a reason they could stick around.
So tell me now
If this ain't love then how do we get out?
'Cause I don't know
“How can you stand here and tell me you didn’t know it was tonight? You picked the restaurant. You made the reservations!” You shoved past him, bag in hand and ran out the door before he could try to talk his way out of his mess.
“I understand why you hate me, (Y/N), I really do,” he grabbed your arm as you went to hop in your truck, “Can we please talk? I don’t want us to leave it like this. Where will you go?”
That's when she said
"I don't hate you boy, I just want to save you. While there's still something left to save" Jim dropped his hand. Was he so far gone? She was giving up on him.
That's when I told her,
"I love you girl, but I'm not the answer for the questions that you still have" With that she got in the truck and peeled out.
And the day pressed on like crushing weights
For no man does it ever wait
Like memories of dying days
That deafen us like hurricanes
The next morning, Jim woke up with what could only be described as the mother of all hangovers. Leonard had stopped pouring, but that hadn’t stopped Jim for going back to his quarters and continuing the Pity Party for one.
He ambled into the MedBay where a very unimpressed Leonard McCoy sat waiting.
“It’s like clockwork with you, Jim.” Leonard grabbed him by the shoulders and guided him to the nearest biobed. “Just once I wish you would remember to stay hydrated while drinking so the entire crew doesn’t find out that their captain is hungover again.”
“Five years in space. It was supposed to be a good time. It was supposed to be adventure.” Jim laid back on the bed, hoping the room would stop spinning. “Now I am alone, and everytime we discover something new, the only thing I can think is ‘(Y/N) would have loved this’.” Jim glanced at Leonard. Of course the Deep space solitude was getting to even their fearless leader.
“Jim, did you ever try calling her? Did you ever reach out?” Leonard was an expert at failed relationships. Communication was something that had always been lacking in his marriage and he knew that the Jim of their youth may have never shut up, but that didn’t mean he was saying what needed to be said.
Bathed in flames we held the brand
Uncurled the fingers in your hand
Pressed into the flesh like sand
Now do you understand?
"I don't hate you boy, I just want to save you. While there's still something left to save" He remembered her (Y/E/C) as the nameless foe took aim. His last thoughts were of the fight you had. His one regret out of all the stupid things he had done, was letting you down. He hoped that wherever you were, you had found happiness with someone who treated you right.
"I love you girl, but I'm not the answer for the questions that you still have" Jim mumbled to himself as a warm, swirling energy surrounded him.
One thousand miles away
There's nothing left to say
But so much left that I don't know
We never had a choice
This world is too much noise
It takes me under
It takes me under once again
Naturally his mother knew where to find you. So when he called and told her of his plans to fly planet side to see you as soon as the mission was over, she knew right where he should look. You weren’t sitting at the bar tonight, you were behind it. You had sat there for so long that you could run that place almost single handedly with little training. Jim took a seat at the far end, near the door in case he chickened out. That became unlikely when a familiar frame took up residence next to him.
“Moral support, before you ask. And also, you aren’t getting out of it that easily. I have heard you moan and groan about her for years. Do something about it.” Bones didn’t look at Jim, just flagged you down so he could order.
“What can I,” you trailed off when you saw Jim sitting there too, “What will it be gentlemen?” Putting on your best customer service voice, you got their orders and walked away. Some patrons noticed the lack of banter that you usually had with the folks at the bar, but they just assumed that Jim and Bones were Fleeters. You usually kept it short and sweet with starfleet personnel. No one new why.
You brought the drinks and burgers back to the duo and went about your bartending.
“You really messed that one up, Jim. She hasn’t acknowledged us and my pint is suffering for it.” Leonard flagged you back down and you took your sweet time coming back to their end of the bar. “Can I get another? I’m going to need it, I think.” You chuckled.
“With your choice of friends, I don’t doubt that.” You poured the second pint for Bones and brought it back. “On the house, Doc.”
“How did you,” you just winked and walked away. You wouldn’t admit to how closely you followed Jim’s career. Most of the senior officers aboard the Enterprise could be easily identified by you with just a glance at this point.
“(Y/N). Outside. Now.” Jim apparently was feeling a type of way now and you nodded to the cook to hold down the fort while you dealt with Jim.
“What the hell, Jim?” you crossed your arms over your chest and set in on him before the door had even shut. You heard McCoy whistle. “I haven’t heard from you in years… Years, Jim,” you were getting closer and closer to him with every word.
Jim didn’t say anything, just grabbed you and pulled you in for a kiss. The smack was expected. The second kiss was not.
I don't hate you
I don't hate you, no
They still had much to discuss and much more to work through, but at least it was clear to both of them that the other was not happy and that they still loved each other.

Act Normal
Idol Jaehyun x Reader
Requested!
note: anon, hope you like how this turned out. Enjoy the read <3
Tumblr media
Multiple notifications rang from your phone as you busily typed on your laptop. Working from home was heaven at one point but now it’s just pure torture.
You tried to ignore the non stop ringing from your phone but it was hard when you saw it flashed from the corner of your eye.
After sending the last email to your colleague, you took your phone and scroll through the notification, eyes widened at every single one of it. Jaehyun was on the Vlive App and you without a second thought signed in to the app on your laptop.
There he was with two other NCT members, Mark and Jungwoo. You noticed his face lit up when you sent in a waving hand emoji. Honestly, you didn’t expect him to see since there were tons of comments coming in at once but he did.
Jaehyun then looked up into the camera and waved which caught the younger members off guard. “Who are you waving at?”
“I’m just greeting the ones that just came in. Hi, did you miss me?” Jaehyun spoke with a smile plastered on his face. The comments were quick to flood with replies and heart emojis.
You almost forgot how famous he was these days. You had a feeling he wouldn't notice your comment but you sent it anyway.
-I miss you a lot. I hope you’re doing well-
You listened to Mark who was updating about their recent photoshoot and wished he could share the photos but instead asked everyone to anticipate for it’s official release.
Jungwoo was nodding at the side and you saw Jaehyun smiling all by himself as he scrolled through the comments on another phone. He was literally in his own little world. You wondered if he saw your comment and tried again.
The work you had was left aside as you were admiring how handsome your lover was looking at the moment. Even rejecting text messages from your work group chat to solely focus on Jaehyun.
-I stopped focusing on my work for you Jaehyun.-
-Looking handsome as always-
You watched as he silently read all the comments and smiled to himself. Jungwoo who had another phone in his hand was reading the comment section as well and noticed that the fans were asking about Jaehyun who hadn't said much since they started.
“Jaehyun, what have you been up to these days?” “Jaehyun, please say something. It's been ages since you came on live.” Jungwoo read out loud and patted Jaehyun’s arm telling him to say something to the fans.
“These days I’ve been working out, catching up on some series” He stopped and tried to recall what else he did.
“Oh, I also went out to eat sushi with y/n last week.” Mark instantly turned to Jaehyun who froze and tried to look nonchalant at what he just said.
You on the other hand freaked out as well. “Jaehyun, you actually slipped my name out like that?” You covered your face behind your hand and peeked through the gaps of your fingers as you read the new posted comments.
Jungwoo, who was fast to act, started changing the topic. “Aren’t you curious about me, Czennies?” he pouted to the camera and saw the number of hearts shoot up instantly.
But the comment about what Jaehyun said didn’t die down. It was so rare of him to slip up like that and you really hoped he wouldn’t get any serious punishment due to that.
-Who is y/n?-
-did i heard it wrong, he said y/n right?-
“y/n is a friend of mine. We just went out to eat, nothing more.” Jaehyun finally explained after seeing so many comments asking who you were.
He looked straight ahead and nodded a bit before conversing back with Mark and Jungwoo. It was most probably their manager or a staff member.
You guessed that they were told to not read the comments anymore and were starting to wrap things up. “Alright everyone, that's all from us. I hope we can talk more often in the future. Again, thank you for watching. We love you!” Mark said as all three of them waved goodbye to the camera and the screen turned black.
Feeling worried, you texted Jaehyun that instant. As you waited for a reply, you went on twitter and as expected his name was trending.
Things don't get easy especially with fans who recorded the whole session as there were multiple clips of him mentioning your name.
You hoped that this won’t affect him badly since it has been awhile since he showed up on the streaming app. Your phone rang a specific tone and you knew it was Jaehyun.
-I’m sorry that happened. It’s probably cause I miss you a lot.-
-Jaehyun, you don’t have to apologise. I miss you a lot too.-
Both of you converse longer than usual and he for the tenth time assured you that the company won’t punish him severely or anything despite it might be a serious issue. Jaehyun was really glad that you were understanding and didn’t get upset with him like most people would.
He knew the fans would try to dig information about you but you told him that it won’t be that easy. “I’m just a regular person who happens to date Jaehyun from NCT. Don’t worry about me, okay?” He recalled the exact words you told him when you first started dating.
-Can I have dinner at your place?-
You had to reread his text a couple of times before replying. “Are you sure?” you murmured to yourself as you typed back.
-the company didn’t say I can’t visit my lover. Wait for me, love-
You had the biggest grin on your face as you read his message. Every single day you fell for him like it was the first time. It didn’t help that he knew just what to say and make your heart flutter every single time without fail.
Both of you may not meet up and spend time like regular couples but it was more than enough to know that you understand each other and try to make things work.
He would do his best to text or call during his free time and you would try to not get worked up when his schedule got too hectic and forgot to reply back after a week or so.
It’s tough but you knew what you were getting yourself into and so did Jaehyun. If you love each other, what’s a little bit of sacrifice, right?

Your friendship with Eren was unlike any relationship you had experienced before. You both joined the Scouts after the attack on Wall Maria. You both bonded over the losses you both endured that day. Eren sought out revenge on the Titans. His hatred and rage fueled his desire to become a better soldier. You wanted a better understanding of the outside world. Why all the memories came fooling back in the middle of a titan ambush you had no idea why. A giant hand came out from the shadows of the forest directly aiming for you. You didn't have much time to react before Eren swooped in and grabbed you.
"(Y/N) you need to pay more attention," Eren said right before the titan grabbed the wire to his ODM gear causing him to fall to the ground several hundred feet below.
"Eren," you screamed out. Your heart pounding in your chest as you locked eyes with the titan. Suddenly, a red hot burning sensation rushed through your chest and up your face. Tears started to form in your eyes as you maneuvered around the giant trees. Finally finding a vantage point, you zipped over the titan and your blades cutting deep into its nape. It fell to the ground dust and debris flying above its lifeless body. The feeling still stuck in your chest, but it was different something lingered beneath the surface. You located Eren, and you looked at him the feeling became stronger as you watched him lay there, blood dripping from his head on the ground under him.
You were irrevocably in love with him.
There was no time to confess to him your newfound feelings. He needed to get the infirmary. The more you realized your feelings for him, the more you realized it would never work. This world was unfair and unforgiving. There was no room in the world for love let alone a relationship, or that's what you told yourself. The pain you would feel if Eren didn't reciprocate your feelings would tear you apart inside.
Two weeks had passed since the ambush in the forest and your feelings had remained the same, in fact, they had gotten stronger. Your whole squad had made it back alive, which you were grateful for. Eren was rushed to the infirmary due to his extensive injuries. You didn't sleep most nights so you would sneak down to see Eren. You held his hand and changed out his bandages being very careful not to wake him.
"(y/n), you have to let him rest," quickly turning around you saw Armin standing in the doorway.
"It's my fault this happened," the tears started to swell up in your eyes. Armin grabs your hand leads you outside.
"B-but Eren," you stammer looking back at him.
"He's going to be fine while you're gone". You looked up at the night sky, gazing at the stars above you. It was late, you didn't realize until now. How long have you been sitting by Eren? An hour? Maybe five. A cool breeze hits your face as you sit down beside Armin on the bench just outside the infirmary.
"You're so concerned about Eren. If I didn't know any better I'd say you're acting like Mikasa," he laughs. You chuckle slightly. You had been so wrapped up in making sure that Eren was okay that you had forgotten what it feels like to relax. Memories of you and Eren flood your mind.
"Armin there's something I need to tell you. I can only trust you with this information," the blonde turns to look at you.
" I'm in love with Eren". Armin's face gets all red and he turns away.
"So why are you feeling me this? Shouldn't you be telling Eren?"
"Because it would never work out the way I want".
Eren was finally recovered enough to leave the infirmary, but he was strictly prohibited from any training, missions, and extraneous activities. You have been avoiding him for days, unable to come to terms with your feelings you thought it best to stay away.
"You're eventually going to have to tell him you can hide from your feelings forever," Armin said to you quietly.
"Shut up, Armin," you punched his shoulder just a little too rough. He winches in pain, and you touch his arm.
"Sorry." You start to blabber about how you're used to hitting Eren because he can take a hit. You didn't realize Armin was trying to tell you that Eren was right behind you. A slight punch suddenly hits the middle of your back causing you to fall forward into Armin's chest. You turn around quickly to see you hit you. Your eyes lock with Eren's, trying to speak, but nothing comes out of your mouth. His green eyes peer into yours. It feels like your entire being is melting into the palm of his hand.
"Shouldn't you be picking on someone your own size," Eren smirks at you.
"Uhhh," you fumble your words trying to form a comprehensible sentence but fail.
"I gotta go!" You said quickly as you darted off somewhere far away from Erin and Armin.
Finally catching your breath you stood in front of the shower house you are reminded of a prank you pulled on Eren just a few months ago.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It had been a long day of combat training and Eren was the first to use the shower, like always. Connie dared you to sneak into the men's showers and take Eren's clothes and hide them in a nearby bush.
"Easy! You should come up with a harder one next time," you smirked knowing this was going to be way simple. Quietly you snuck in being extremely careful not to slam any doors. You glanced around trying to find Eren's clothes, the steam from the showers making it hard to see. Stumbling into one of the benches close to the showers.
"Fuck that hurt."
"Hello? Who's there?" You heard Eren call out. Your heartbeat quickened as you heard the water turn off.
shit shit shit where are they?
Finally, you found the clothes tucked away under the bench. You guessed this isn't the first time this happened to him. You balled up his clothes and ran out. The steam made your hair stick to your forehead as you threw his clothes in a bush.
"Nice going (y/n)!" Connie gave you a high-five. Both of you waited for Eren to realize his clothes were missing, but to both of your surprises, Eren walked out of the showers butt-ass naked with only one of his hands covering his goods. Your jaw dropped at the sight of him the sunlight made his wet skin glisten. He shook out his hair causing water droplets to scatter around him. You followed the water as it dripped down his toned chest and pass his carefully carved abs. Your eyes followed the v line just below his abs.
"My eyes are up here! Now, where did you put my clothes, darling?" Eren steps closer to you feeling the heat radiate off him from his shower. Your mouth stayed agape and all you could do was point over to the bush. He made his way over not bothering to cover his ass.
"Well, that was fun," Eren chuckled as he pulled up his pants and let them sit on his hips unbuttoned.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Wetness started to pool in between your thighs, causing you to blush from the intrusive thoughts of Eren. You looked around to make sure no one would follow you. After stepping into the shower, you took your clothes off, and neatly folded them, and placed them on the bench. You pulled the curtain closed in hopes of having a sliver of privacy. The cold water rushed over your body and hair. Your nipples became hard as the cold water ran over them. Your mind began to imagine Eren behind you and what his hands would feel like as he rubbed your shoulders and softly caressing your breasts. Maybe he would snake one of his hands down your waist and tease your folds as the other would grip your neck pulling you back into his bare chest.
"Mmm. Eren," you moaned teasing yourself closer and closer to orgasm. Your finger moved faster in circles around your clit. A tightness started building up in your core and just about as you were going to come undone the door to showers swung open. FUCK! Disappointed in your attempt to relieve some stress you quickly got dressed.
"Hey (y/n)," Sasha greeted you, but you bolted past her "okay, bye!"
You didn't want to be rude to Sasha, but you had other things on your mind. All of them were Eren. Your body ached for his. You wondered want it would feel like on top of yours. Your mind kept racing all these thoughts about him and what he looked like under his clothes.
"(Y/N)! Instead of daydreaming why don't you help in the kitchen?" You were quickly drawn away from your thoughts as Levi approached you.
"Sorry Captain, I-" you tried to explain yourself before Levi shut you down.
"You're almost as bad as Eren." Eren? You clung to his name.
"What's wrong with Eren?" You ask.
"Well, since he's been released from the infirmary he's been zoning out. But enough chit-chat go help get dinner ready."
You made your way to the kitchen. Both Connie and Sasha were slacking off and having a baguette battle.
"Guys, let's do what needs to be done. I'm tired and want to go to sleep." You announce. It took about an hour to get prepped and cooked. By the time you were done cooking, you wanted to go to your room and finish what you couldn't in the showers.
After finally arriving at your room. You quickly shut your door. The rooms weren't big, but none the less you were grateful to have your own after spending a year in the barracks. The rooms were massive, but they were a decent size for one person. A desk with a wooden chair sat in the far corner and a closet just big enough to hold a few scout uniforms and a full-size bed. Still, a layer of dust covered everything although you didn't mind. It wasn't like you were going to be staying in your room all day.
You rubbed your eyes and sat at the edge of your bed, taking off your boots and jacket, neatly putting them away in the closet. You always hated taking off your harness there were so many buckles and straps, you got confused so easily. The only light to work with was an oil lamp fixed to the wall. You sighed heavily as you finished folding up your clothes and getting into your pajamas.
As you laid down in your bed thoughts of Eren came back to you. Softly you moaned as you pawed at your breast and teased your nipple. Woefully imagining it was Eren's instead of yours. You felt a wetness start to pool between your legs. Slipping your hands down your shorts your finger circled your clit. You were a virgin, but you still knew what happened you just never found anyone worthy enough. Expect for Eren.
You moaned as you came closer and closer to climax, but it was cut short again. "(Y/N)..." You had sworn you heard someone moan your name. Quickly you pulled your covers over your body as you listen to the room next to you and you heard it again. You were sure someone was moaning your name. In the room next to yours you heard the bed squeak as someone got up from it. Your heart beated faster as you heard footsteps approached your door. You closed your eyes and pretended to be asleep. The door to your room slowly creaked open. "(Y/N)... Are you awake?" It was Eren. You still didn't open your eyes as the door shut and Eren sat on the edge of your bed. He took your hand and held it and pressed it to his chest.
"I know you're asleep but I wanted to tell you, thank you for saving me, I know everyone told you to leave me but you didn't and I'm grateful. I don't know why you've been avoiding me, but I probably deserve it somehow." You heard his voice crack and you could tell he was about to cry.
"I just don't know how to tell you this but here does nothing, I love you (Y/N)." You opened your eyes and saw Eren crying.
"I love you too." You said sitting up in your bed. Your hands cupped his cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss. His lips were soft and perfectly fit in between yours. It was sweet and soft but your core ached for him. He pulled you onto his lap and brushed your hair behind your ear.
"I can't tell you how many nights I wished for this, to be here with you." Eren buried his face into your chest.
"You don't have to wish anymore," you told him as you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him again this time softly biting on his lower lips. He moaned into the kiss sending chills down your spine. He gripped your hips, his callused fingers dug into your sides almost as if he was scared you were fall through his hands if he didn't hold you tight enough.
Your hips ground into his causing a deep moan to escape from his lips. His erection grew quickly underneath you. Eren flipped you over on your back onto the mattress. He stood up and began removing his shirt. Your eyes followed the skin on his stomach as more of it was exposed. Moonlight peaked in through the window, shining on his torso. It was beautiful, hours and hours of training had paid off.
"My eyes are up here, darling" he chuckled as he climbed on top of you. You couldn't help but feel his chest and abs. His piercing green eyes looked into yours. His lips crashed into yours, it was sloppy and wet and hot. Your clothes limited his access to your perfect body. He slowly took off your shirt and kissed up your stomach and in between your breasts before he took one in each hand and massaged them. His thumb rubbing your nipples before he took it in his mouth and circled it with his tongue. Your fingers ran through his hair as you leaned your head back and moaned. He made his way up to your neck kissing and sucking on it. You knew for sure there was going to be a hickey tomorrow but you didn't care. You wanted everyone to know that you were Eren's and that he was yours too.
"Eren, I need you." You begged him to touch you. He leaned back on his calves and pulled your legs up to his chest, slowly removing your shorts.
"You're so wet for me already, have you been expecting me?" He chuckled and smirked as he pushed your legs apart. His hot breath hit your folds making you beg for him even more.
"Please please Eren!" Your cries for his touch were desperate. Him seeing how much you needed him turned him on. He was throbbing in his jeans. His finger slid up your folds and collected your wetness before he put it in his mouth and sucked on his finger.
"Open your mouth," he commanded and you did as he stuck his finger in your mouth. "Suck." His voice was deep and demanding making you want him even more. Your tongue danced around his finger you tasted yourself on his finger. His mouth attached itself to your clit and you threw your head back moaning. His tongue circling your clit making you bite down on your lip to keep from moaning too loud. Your hands found their way to his beautiful brawn locks, your fingers entangled themselves pulling slightly. Eren groaned and gripped your thighs tighter, maybe enough to leave bruises. The idea of having Eren's fingerprints lingering on your skin turned you on even more.
Eren's erection grew harder and slightly painful. He stood up from the bed and a whine came from your mouth in protest.
"Don't worry we aren't done yet. Do you know how much my hand hurts by now? I'm so glad you accepted my feelings so I can fuck you now."
"All you had to do was ask" you teased back at him "but you should know I'm a virgin." You weren't shy about it, it was just how you were.
"Well, I am too, if that makes you feel better." You sat up on your knees and began to undo Eren's pants. You could hear his moan that he held back. Your fingers slipped between his skin and underwear slowly teasing it down before releasing the waistband and having it snap back to his skin. A low hiss rolled out of his mouth as he smirked at you and his eye went darker with lust.
In a fit of lust Eren quickly removed his pants and pulled his cock out. Your eyes widen at the sight, you always thought Eren was big but never this big.
"Suck now." His tone cold and demanding. You took it in one hand and started to suck on the tip of his cock. You could taste the precum from the tip. His hand placed at the back of your head slowly pushing you further and further down. Your hands gripped his thighs as he drove his cock deeper into your face. You looked up at him, he looked so hot his eyes were rolled back and beautiful moans escaped his mouth.
"Ahhh fuck (Y/N) your so warm. I'm so close, will you be a good girl and swallow for me?" He looked down, locking his eyes with yours, you nod.
"Mmmm that's my girl." He continued to fuck your face, his hands cupping your checks. A warm salty liquid flowed into your mouth. You swallowed it and sucked the rest off his cock before opening your math to show him.
"Fuck... You're such a good slut for me." He crawled on top of you. "I'm gonna take such good care of you," he kissed your stomach right below your navel. He slowly slid two fingers inside of you making you arch your back and grip the sheets. He took his time moving his fingers in and out of you taking care to make sure you never felt any pain.
"More Eren, please..." you begged for him, bringing him closer for a kiss. He lined himself up at your entrance wetting his tip on your folds. He steadied himself by placing his hand next to your head. He looked into your eyes. "Ready, darling?" You nodded. He slowly pushed his tip in both of you letting out moans of each other's names. You momentarily adjusted to his size before he added another inch. You wrapped your legs around his hips allowing him to fully enter you.
"Oh fuck, you're so tight I could cum right now," Eren moaned into your chest. Your breath was heavy as you fully adjusted to his massive size. Eren pressed his forehead to yours as he thrust in and out of you at a good pace. You moaned and softly bit into his shoulder careful not to hurt him and activate his Titan.
His thrust because faster and faster. You moaned his name over and over again. Sweat started to drip from his forehead, you could tell he was holding back his orgasm. The tip of his cock hitting your cervix. Eren let out a chuckle.
"What's so funny?" You asked.
"I can it inside you. Look." You glanced at your stomach and saw the tip pressing the skin up. "Fuck I can't wait to fill you up with my seed." He pounded harder into you as your orgasm started to build.
"Eren I'm getting close," you mewled in his ear. His thrust becomes sloppy as his thumb played with clit and that sent you over the edge. Eren watched as your body twitched underneath him. It felt like your entire body was on ice and fire at the same time. Eren was not long after you as he slammed one last time into you and let out the most beautiful moan you ever heard.
"Ahhh fuckkkkk (Y/N). You were such a good girl for me." He pulled out and laid down next to you pulling you close to him.
"I love you. I always have. I don't care if this world is unfair and unforgiving. A world that doesn't have you isn't where I want to be." You pressed your face into his chest and slowly fell asleep.
