Kind of a more serious post (not a bad serious, it's a good thing, trust me), but just... I'm gonna ramble about sysGold and his progress here

At first, he was just this little limbless guy who kind of just. Avoided the other parts here and didn't like anything or anyone, almost to a spiteful point. Now, he. I dunno, he's making so many jokes, he's laughing along with everyone, he likes people and he's got a good personality, he's not afraid to be himself. Dude's really opened up and developed as a part/person, and he's only been in the system for around 6 months. I'm proud of him and I'm glad to be his brother. :)

being too weird and unlikable and off putting and always being shunned and turned into an outcast everywhere i go and not having felt the connection and healing friendship has on you for so many years has really done a number on me

"Real introjects don't look for sourcemates" wrong. Our irl friend (who is also a system) has a fictive from south park, and since he misses his friends he started calling 2 of that system's best friends the names of his sourcemates and acting as if they were them.

Doing sourcecalls is "a sign of faking"? If you appeared in a new universe without possibilities of going back home, you'd try to find things connected to it - even if sourcemates technically only share a face with your friends, they're still better than nothing.

So, nope, sorry to tell you. Real introjects, like anyone, miss what they had and if there's something that reminds us to it, we'll take it. And fakeclaiming us because of that is fucking stupid<3
