getting gradually more frustrated because this documentary i'm watching for my gender class is labeling every identity other than man and woman as a "third gender". like?? trans women and men are not a third gender they are women and men
#like i get what they're trying to say#because trans people are different from cis people#trans women are women and trans men are men!#not some secret third thing!!!#i don't even think the term 'third gender' can really mean anything#the closest would be non-binary#simply because it means neither male nor female#just hate the way some things are worded and displayed#documentary is 'The Gender Code' from LUKA on youtube#mars babbles#thinking about it they may have just been saying that trans people are PERCEIVED as a third gender#but that's not how i interpreted it#so i think it can very easily be misinterpreted#or it's just flawed information#idk#i can't be bothered to rewatch or look into it

I really want to like being a woman but I don’t. But I’m not dysphoric either; I like my body fine and I don’t want to change my voice or my mannerisms or even my pronouns really. So I don’t think I’m transmasc. Sometimes I just really wish I was born and raised a man. But it’s more of an “in another life” dream kind of thing. I think it’s just internalized misogyny idk
#I guess I feel extra confused bc a lot of my friends are trans#and specifically some of my closest friends are transfem#and they like. actually LIKE being women and feel Anything about gender#whereas I just feel apathetic about it I guess?#I like being ‘feminine’ but more of the time it’s closer to like. being ‘effeminate’#which is why I always say I would probably be gay if I was born a man#but in this life I am just an aroace girl and that’s fine I guess#idk maybe this is eggposting and I’ll look back on this in a while and laugh#my friends (the aforementioned ones) always joke that I am like the world’s most durable egg#it will NEVER crack 💪 heheheha#cis-adjacent 4ever#I just don’t really care enough to transition and maybe part of that is just bc I hate everything about gender and it makes me feel sick#like I truly just wish we lived in a genderless society#but I don’t like seeing myself as non binary either or using they/them.. I’ve tried that trust me lol#and again I don’t want to take T or even socially transition or anything like that. I don’t want to be transmasc#idk. smart people pls give me advice. fix my brain pls 🙏 lol#ellyposting#wackyposting#<- bc this is silly and I’m crying about it at work again lol#also this was prompted by OCD shit I think#which I won’t go into bc it’s Silly but yeah

i don't think any of my ttrpg campaigns have ever had a completely cishet couple ever
#the closest thing we've got to that is a closeted non binary bisexual presenting as a dude since it's the sixties and their bisexual#girlfriend so technically they would be sapphic but they appear as cishet

Siffrin's pronouns are kinda fascinating as a character detail for a variety of reasons. Firstly, they haven't Changed. They've thought about it, but haven't bothered for one reason or another. It isn't the loops that they even let themself consider wanting to Change. Even then, he doesn't put too much thought that to it because he has other things to deal with.
That being said, while pronouns aren't indicative of gender, Siffrin still PICKED he/they at one point. He's still non-binary. Something not!cis is happening here, and yet Siffrin doesn't consider themself Changed.
This could be cultural. We don't know what gender even looks like on the Forgotten Country. Adding onto that, Vaugardian isn't his first language. We also have ZERO clue on how you would refer to yourself in the Forgotten Country or if there were any pronouns at all in that language. For all we know, Siffrin chose he/they because it was the closest equivalent to how they actually referred to themself in his own language.
This brings me to the conclusion that Siffrin, in a newly blank state after losing their memories, likely chose pronouns closest to what felt most correct to them at the time. Whether this means they Changed before memory wipe (or whatever the Island equivalent would have been), other countries gender presentation influenced their eventual choice, if the closest equivalent to whatever pronouns Siffrin used on the Island translated to he/they, and/or something else like that, well, we will never know.
(And Siffrin likely wouldn't ever know either).

im bored so y’all are getting some hazbin hcs
Alastor is aroace and agender but he does not know it he has no clue what ANY of those words mean
Rosie actually knows that Alastor is all of those but to fuck with him she doesn’t tell him however she will from time to time call him one of those (for example when she says she knows Alastor is an ace in the hole)
Alastor and Rosie are in a qpr!
Velvette and Vox are besties they will gossip about everyone and everything
Velvette is a non-binary lesbian who uses she/her
EVERYONE in hell assume that the vees are a polycule and for the chaos they never correct anyone
Velvette barely tolerates Valentino and would like to beat the shit out of him at any given time
Ok I have to restrain myself with Velvette so last one even though Vox has beef with Alastor to everyone’s shock she hangs out with him every once and a while over some tea
Lute is aroace but she and Adam are « dating » bc people kept asking Lute out would never take no for an answer and it was making her uncomfortable
Despite everything Adam does care for Lute and is a good friend towards her hence why he agreed to the fake dating plan
Vaggie before getting her wings back would get HORRIBLE phantom pain from them and whenever Charlie would ask what was up she would always dodge the questions and Charlie wanting to respect her gfs boundaries wouldn’t push to much
Vaggies love language is acts of service and Charlie’s is physical touch
Charlie ADORES Vaggies wings she thinks they make her gf even more gorgeous then she already is
Vaggie is actually insecure of her wings as they remind her of a past she’s rather forget but Charlie fawning over them does make her like her wings a bit more
If Charlie is cold Vaggie will use her wings to make her warmer
After the battle against the exorcist Vaggie went back to thank Carmilla for her help and the two got to talking and ended bonding now they meet weekly at Carmillas to practice battle together (the both enjoy it greatly) and sometimes it leads to Vaggie staying for dinner
Carmilla Carmine is essentially Vaggies mom/mentor
Vaggie bonded with Carmillas daughters and they see eachother as sisters
Charlie will sometimes head over to cannibal town to give Rosie a visit and she now calls Rosie Auntie all the time
Vaggie brought Charlie to meet Carmilla and Charlie brought Vaggie to meet Rosie (both were super nervous to meet each others respective mom/aunt figure worried they wouldn’t approve)
Husk and Cherri used to hate eachother but after Angel forced them to hang out they grew to like eachother in a I hate u and hope u die/affectionate type of way
Angel does Cherris hair and I will not elaborate
Angel can’t cook for shit and almost set the hotel on fire many times (he’s now banned from the kitchen)
Vaggie however is a great chef!
Husk taught all the members of the hotel who didn’t already know how to play poker, poker
The hotel guests now have game night which is usually the entire cast struggling while Alastor, Husk and Vaggie sweep and have a rivalry between themselves the others are trying tho!
Alastor also taught the residents chess
Nifty eats the pieces
Im not elaborating on that last one
Vaggie and Angel actually like one another (PLATONICALLY) even considering one another one of their closest friends but neither would ever admit it out loud
Alright now that that's said Angel and Vaggie have mini cooking lessons in secret (WITHOUT ANY FIRE for safety reasons ofc) so Angel can make food for his friends
Lucifer and Vaggie actually bonded a lot especially given both are fallen angels
When Lucifer found out why Vaggie was cast out and how Vaggie had to physically restrain him from (somehow don’t question how he'd even be able to get to heaven to do it) beating the shit out of Lute
Shickingly Lucifer, nifty and Husk are friends and hang out
in fact Lucifer knew Husk before the hotel and had already grown fond of him
Sir Pentious and Charlie are besties
Charlie was the first person who Sir Pentious actually told he liked Cherri (the others still knew but like he actually told Charlie)
Sir Pentious makes Alastor babysit the egg bois after the outing he had with them a while back
Sir Pentious does like Emily but she kinda makes him sad as she reminds him so much of Charlie and he cant see her anymore given she's currently in hell
Razzle was always super attached to Charlie but Dazzle wierdly enough got super attached to Vaggie making her even angrier with Lute when she killed him
Imma end the hcs here cause this is already a shit tone lol

Heyyy!!
So I've recently read a lot of your comics about top surgery, and I really resonate with your experience (I haven't had it myself but I'd like to). I've recently been exploring my own gender and realising I might be non binary, but I guess I feel sort of an imposter in that I want to keep my name and pronouns (afab), despite feeling like I never got the memo about what a "woman" is, which I know is fine, but I guess I was wondering how the shift from your agab into realising you were nb felt?
Like, you seem to describe your gender as sort of unknowable and indefinable, and I guess that's sort of how I feel? I just want to be... More me. I guess what I'm really asking is, how would you define/feel about that shift into realising you were nonbinary, do you still feel connected to your agab, how do you reconcile the two?
Sorry for the long ask!
Hi, this is such a good question! I actually DO still feel pretty connected to my agab. I feel like I am a girl but also more than a girl but also not enough of a girl, simultaneously. (Weirdly, I never ever feel like a woman, and definitely not a man, but I do feel like an adult at least some of the time.) Top surgery was 100% the right decision for me; my body feels so much more correct and I am grateful every single day this procedure was accessible to me. (I was on a low dose of T for a year and a half too, and I basically just got biceps and a sliiiightly lower voice out of it. We stan.) I simply don't have strong feelings about how these things do or do not map onto gender identity or other people's perceptions of my gender. I am generally perceived as female, and that's fine! Like, close enough! I often feel somewhere BETWEEN cis and trans, or even between cis and nonbinary, and sometimes I joke that I'm just "nonbinary for insurance purposes." I mostly use she/her pronouns, although won't object to they/them. I like my "feminine" name -- I chose it myself years ago for reasons unrelated to gender and I have no plans to change it again. In terms of gender presentation I'm usually somewhere in the "tomboy femme" zone. Basically, I've been through a medical transition but not a social transition. Which is not very common, or at least I haven't seen much representation of it! (Be the bad trans representation you want to see in the world, i guess??)
Even though the words are often used interchangeably, I feel more alliance to genderqueer as a label than nonbinary, because nonbinary feels too clinical and "third checkbox"y to me, whereas genderqueer feels more expansive and undefinable and dynamic, with space for the ways in which I both am and am not performing girlhood correctly. When pressed to pick a gender word for myself, that one feels the closest. But if I'm filling out a government form or whatever? Yeah sure F is fine.
A lot of where I land with this stuff, though, is just kind of relaxing my grip on language. Top surgery was a relief, it helped me feel present in and connected to my body. Ultimately it doesn't matter much to me how much of that was *gender* dysphoria and how much of it was just... something I wanted, a way to make my body feel more like mine, to align my mental image of myself with the thing I had to stuff into clothes and walk around the city every day. I believe very strongly in bodily autonomy, and in making our lives as easy and comfortable and joyful as we can for ourselves, without needing to have a clean and tidy explanation for our choices. It is very possible to know with reasonable certainty that you want something, that it will be a net positive for your life, without being able to articulate, even to yourself, WHY you want it. It doesn't need to have a bigger meaning than ahh yes, this feels right. At this point in my life, I'm more invested in marveling at the sheer improbability of my own existence than in wedging myself into the taxonomy of known and acceptable gender narratives. I'm just a person, here for the merest twinkle of a moment in cosmic history, making soup and knitting baby hats and admiring bugs and singing off-key and cutting my own hair and doing my gosh darn best to light my tiny patch of night sky with stories so that you (and you, and you) feel less alone on your own journey through the unfurling dark. Gender is just such an inconsequential detail in the narrative of my life, and pretty open to reader interpretation anyway.
Not having to wear bras is pretty great though ngl

hey, so i don’t make these sorts of posts often- but one of my closest friends is struggling to fund their transition costs, and as someone with a bit of a following here- it would mean a lot to me if people would share this around a bit, they’ve been struggling for a long time, and are extremely close to being able to get a life-changing surgery. If you’re a fan of my blog, it would mean a lot if you’d be willing to help out someone who really needs it. 💖

hi I would actually be super interested in your thoughts on in what ways butch=/=masc!! I've recently been toying more with the butch label but I'm a little lost I feel. I would really appreciate it, but no pressure! thanks for your awesome blog
Okay, so I've been thinking about this ask for months.
The easiest and simplest answer is that masc is an adjective and Butch is a noun. You can identify any stranger on the street as masc, but Butch only comes with self-identification. Butch is a non-binary label that relies purely on self-identification.
That's the most widely applicable answer.
If you've studied Butch literature then you know that there are generally 4 kinds of Butches; Cis Butches, Transmasc Butches, Nonbinary Butches, and Transfem Butches. There's also the secret 5th Category of Gay Man Butches but I'm not gonna cover them.
Butch is a gender all on its own, and it is almost completely self defined. Take, for example, the life of Leslie Feinberg. She started as a cis butch and then he transitioned to a transmasc butch. Utimately, zie settled on being non-binary. Hir gender, presentation, and self understanding radically changed over the course of hir life, but zie remained butch because zie said zie was.
That's the important part.
I think one of the issues that plagues (amateur) academic studies of Butchness is the gender binary. I've seen Butch get defined as both 'Masculine Femininity' and 'Feminine Masculinity.' In my opinion, Butch is Butch and its closest cousin is masculinity.
This answer is useless to baby butches. If you're a baby and looking for answers, hit the books or the bars or the home depot. If you can't find an elder to talk to, read. Once you've read, do what feels right to you. No two butches are the same. And butchness is not tied to your sexuality. There are lesbian butches, ace butches, bisexual butches, and straight butches. It doesn't matter who you fuck, it matters who you are.
In conclusion, you know masc when you see it and if you ask someone nicely you'll find out whether they are butch or not.

I've talked before about queer representation in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, but there are some points I wanted to add, that I haven't really mentioned previously. These are just some things I noticed, that make the LGBTQIA+ representation more shallow than before. Especially after the pride artwork came out for Helluva Boss. (Just my opinion, if you feel represented by these shows, great, all the more power to you)
1. As far as the audience is aware, there are almost no characters that have secondary identities. The only exceptions are Sally Mae (who is Trans and Lesbian) and Alastor (who is Aromantic and Asexual). Everyone else either has one sexuality (Gay, Pansexual, Bisexual etc.) or very rarely is simply Asexual. This kinda fits to more heteronormative thinking, that a person is either one thing or the other. There are no other characters that are genderqueer and have a sexual identity, no characters that are Ace/Aro and have another identity. This also leads into my second point.
(Quick correction, someone pointed out to me, that Alastor is canonically actually only Asexual, not Aro. I lost the question however, so I'll just add that here. That means that Sally Mae is actually the only character with a secondary identity and that there is not a single Aro character in either show. So not an improvement at all really.)
2. There are almost no characters who are genderqueer. Sally Mae as the exception again and some background imps I guess. Sally Mae is the only real character however, in both shows at that (and she just barely passes as a character). No Genderfluid, Genderqueer, Non-binary, Intersex, Bigender, Agender, Pangender, Demigirl/boy character or anything like that. I'm not saying all of these should be represented in the main cast or something, but there is no effort at all to include them in any way. Not even in the pride artwork that has a bunch of background imps present. I'm actually kinda confused by one thing. I remember that when the Hazbin pilot first came out, Angel Dust was mostly considered to be pangender or at least also use female pronouns too. I'm not sure if that's something that was changed over time or if I'm just remembering stuff wrong, however it would be kinda disappointing if they erased that part of his character to make him more appealing to general viewers. The trans umbrella is such an important part of the queer community, it's really bothering me that there is not a single (atleast slightly) relevant character in either HB or HH (that isn't Sally Mae).
3. The lack of Sapphic representation is so annoying. Before any of you start to point at Chaggie immediately, I recognise them as a sapphic couple and actually started to quite enjoy them in the past time. That's mostly just my headcannon version of them though. In the actual show they are really undermined and don't have nearly enough content to be considered a stand out pair or the main relationship. I'm actually really excited for the next season, since it has been revealed that they will have a smexy song and some more romantic content. But now onto the rest of queer women in these shows. Martha and Mayberry don't really count to me. They were pretty much just fanservice and only appeared as a couple in one quick scene. Apart from those two examples (one example if you don't consider the minimal presence of Martha and Mayberry). Most of the queer women in the show aren't allowed to be in relationships with other women. Either they are with a man (which of course isn't wrong in theory) or just single. Barbie Wire, Verosika, Sally Mae, Beelzebub and Loona are all confirmed to be queer, but none of them have a girlfriend/partner. When comparing this to the queer male characters that are present in these shows, these almost always have a relationship or end up in one. Also Vaggie and Sally Mae are the only Lesbians and that's just kinda embarrassing. None of these women even get to show affection towards other women. The closest we get (if I remember correctly) is Millie calling Verosika hot or something and Millie is literally the only main cast character that was confirmed to be straight by the pride artwork. As a queer woman I just wish there was more representation for us. This topic is also heavily tied into some of the underlying sexism present in the shows, but that's a topic for another day.
4. A lot of the queer/kink/fetish scene is used as shock humor rather than genuine representation. It's often something to laugh at or be shocked by, because hell is just so raunchy and crazy and wild or something. The episode Ozzie's is a good example for that. Millie and Moxxie go to a sex club in the lust ring that is owned by the one and only ruling sex demon in all of hell. Yet they are put off by the people there wanting them to be lustful and Ozzie and his staff are presented as deviants, who also bully the main couples in the show. It's good that in the end these sex crazed deviants are defeated through a song of real love. In Hazbin Hotel this is a lot more prevalent too, with Charlie almost always being uncomfortable around anything sexual. Her and Vaggie have a really chaste relationship too. They don't make out or even really cuddle (I'm aware that this will change in season two if the leaked information holds up). If I recall correctly, any sexual scene in the first season is either to make the audience see how perverted and unconventional the inhabitants of hell are (like the club scene where Sir Pentious is literally assaulted) or to show Angel Dust being abused. It is rarely ever a positive thing.
5. Maybe I should change that statement though, because it can be a positive thing, but only for couples that are monogamous and fit more heteronormative ideals. I know this point will maybe be a little complicated to make because there is no problem of course with queer relationships that fit a more traditional view of a relationship. There are a bunch of couples in real life where one person is more effeminate and another more masculine, that also have clearer roles (like with HuskerDust, Stolitz, Moxxie/Chaz, Fizz/Asmodeus). But I feel like what I mean can be best illustrated by the fact that firstly, pretty much every couple that is happy is either married/working towards getting married and also strictly monogamous. I'm thinking of Asmodeus and Fizzarolli, who just make no sense to be a monogamous couple. Asmodeus is the literal sin of lust and you expect me to believe he isn't polyamorous or that they have an open relationship at least. But that is never mentioned and in the pride artwork there is no polyamorous flag to be seen, even though it would only make sense with them. And secondly, just have a look at two background characters. Josh and Ace, who started off as a part of Verosika's Gang of succubi and later on would be confirmed to have gotten married. If you don't get what I'm saying with the show catering to more heteronormative ideals, just look at how these two were drawn before they became a married couple:
and then after:

The change in height, frame and facial features for one of them (don't know who's who tbh) is astounding.
That's all I had to say for now. There's a lot I could add to these points, but I wanted to keep it shorter for now, especially with Tumblr's word limit. I will probably also upload an edit of the pride artwork with my personal headcannons sometime, I just haven't gotten around to finishing it.
I need to see more sapphic couples in these shows, I beg of you Viv. My life will be yours if Leviathan has a girlfriend or Loona gets one in season three. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Most people would describe your life as normal. You live in a small apartment in the middle of a bustling city. It's a city bursting with life and opportunities, things you’ve grown accustomed to. It's been a few years since moving here with your former college roommate, turned best friend. Life pulled the both of you to the city to pursue your careers, living comfortably since. So, when someone comes knocking at your door with wide, panicked eyes, you feel the urge to just move on with your day. That is, of course, not possible when they drop the fact that your roommate is dead, followed by an invitation to get them back.
This IF is written in twine and will be posted on itch.io. It is currently a work in progress. Advice is appreciated due to this being my first attempt at something like this <3
This story will delve into grief, death, and dying, all while exploring everything the underworld has to offer. Face ghosts of everyone's pasts, get into trouble with Underworld Law and become closer along the way.
Play as a fully customizable character, choose your character's name, pronouns/gender, sexuality, appearance, college degree, and more!
Travel through the underworld, explore the vast layers the city of the dead has to offer and meet the people who reside there.
Determine how you traverse loss and all the things that come with it. Either ignore or come to terms with what might happen at the end of it all.
Build a relationship with 1 of 4 character options (or 1 of 2(?) poly options!), two gender selectable, and two set genders (non-binary spectrum). (Play as aro, gay, straight, bi, trans, etc. Platonic relationships will be just as important in this game!)
This game is for 17 and up. There will be NO sexual themes, but there will be heavy topics, explicit language, and graphic descriptions of death. More Content Warnings will be listed in the demo.
The Best Friend | Abel/Abella Robinson [he/him or she/her] - RO
Your best friend since freshman year of college, once random strangers sharing a dorm, now living together of your own free will. A is an elementary school teacher with a calm, gentle heart. They are a bit of a doormat but are kind despite the world being cruel. For years they have been a loyal friend and helped you whenever you needed it, now it's time to help them escape the clutches of death.
The Guilty Reaper | Mortimer/Mort/Mortie [any pronouns] - RO
Mortimer has your best interests in mind, at least that's why they tell you when they pop up at your doorstep with tickets to the underworld. Being out of touch with humanity is supposed to be an asset for reapers, but Mortimer has always wanted to know everything there is to know about humanity. Can you even believe someone like them? Mort seems a little too honest, and a little too curious, but they're the only tour guide for the underworld that you know of.
Your Best Friend's Best Friend | Santiago/Santina "Santi" Vega [he/him or she/her] - RO
You know A has other friends, but what you don't know is why they hate you so much. Santi has never liked you, not four years ago, not today. They are sarcastic and confident. They will always take the opportunity to outshine you, it's hard to understand why someone like A would even tolerate being around them. Whether you like it or not, they're still A's other best friend, and are just as determined to get them back safe and sound... Even if it means having to do it with you.
The Guard | Kyo [he/they] - RO
A (begrudging) friend of Mort and one of many guards of the underworld. They're a mystery to you and even to their closest friend. Kyo doesn't speak much. They are blunt, easily annoyed, and strictly there to keep an eye on everyone. He prefers to follow the rules and stay under the radar, especially since he seems to have something to lose. They seem to only tag along to keep Mort out of trouble, but there has to be something more to their goals. Why else would they risk so much for people they don't know?
Poly Options <3
A & S K & M (A secret third option, perchance?)

The problem with Taash talking to a Qunari is that the Qun isn’t really as trans inclusive as some people believe it is. Yes, trans people can live comfortably in the Qun, but only if they fit into the gender role they identify as. If a trans man is better suited to “women’s work” he’s going to be forced to be a woman, the same way a cis woman would have to live as a man if she was good at fighting.
This is known as Aqun-Athlok. It is something that you do not necessarily get to choose for yourself. If you are lucky your gender would be affirmed. However, you are also just as likely to be forced to live as a gender you do not identify as purely because of your role in Qun society.
not only that, the Qun’s gender roles are so incredibly rigid that there is no in between. Non-binary does not exist. There is only man or woman. Taash would’ve been forced to be a man if their mother had not run away.
So there is no cultural equivalent for them to speak too. The closest thing is what their mother mentioned, which is Aqun-Athlok.And thats not what Taash is.
Ultimately Neve and her friends were probably the safest choice.
...I'm well aware of the Qun's strict gender roles, thank you. I said so myself less than a week ago. But not every qunari is part of the Qun, and in my post, I did write qunari with a lowercase Q, as in the race, not the religion. But even so, actually, why not have an Aqun-Athlok person talk to Taash to help Taash realize that's not who they are?
And maybe you should ask why the writers decided to make the white trans man and white trans woman in the Shadow Dragons "the safest choice" in comparison to any Rivaini or qunari character.

Uraume Thoughts (+Sukuna)
MDNI +18 NSFW
Uraume my love. Just a collection of thoughts I’ve written about them. Some fluff some smut.
Cw/Tw - Hypersexuality, mentions of transphobia
Uraume, Hard Dom. They’ll bottom, but they are ALWAYS in charge and in control. Giving you orders, degrading you, mocking you.
People often think they’re ace, which is somewhat true, but they’ve opted to not label what type of ace they are and will just say they’re ace for ease.
Oooo bitch loves roleplay. Worship them, like a god. They want that fear, that power that their lord Sukuna has. Cock worship, body worship, don’t be afraid to be pathetic.
Not super kinky tbh. They like the roleplay and degrading, maybe a bit of some other things you’ll teach them, but they’re pretty tame.
Being a dom you might think they like brats. Common misconception. They think that shit is so annoying. There’s no fun in it for them and they have to deal with annoying brats constantly already(Kenjaku, Mahito, dare I say Sukuna)
Very calm, collected, a bit of a temper, and then on the inside it’s 50 shades of ice, to hell and back. They don’t act on their thoughts often, but they do think often. It’s not because they’re super horny, it’s hypersexuality. The trauma. Cuz as an amab non-binary who’s fem androgynous presenting the sexualization and dehumanization is real tbh.
No they do not want cum in food. Cute thought but for them food is a safe thing. A place where there is no danger, nothing sexual, it’s safe.
Speaking of food, food is their love language. Giving and receiving. Cooking with you and for you both. You get them snacks while you’re out and they’re giving so many kisses! Like 3.
Not much of a physical affection type of person, at least not in public or where anyone can see. They don’t like being vulnerable unless it’s just with you and or Sukuna.
Sukuna, speak of the devil, is the closest thing to family Uraume has. If he doesn’t like you? They will drop you. No hard feelings tho yeah? If he likes you though? Marriage! Rn! Jk jk… unless?
Sukuna, surprisingly never will do the “I’ll kill you if you hurt them.” If you mention that to him he’ll laugh and say something like, “I wouldn’t need to, they’d kill you.”
He won’t say anything but Uraume would, Sukuna would love to be involved in any plans to surprise Uraume. Birthday party, anniversary, wedding proposals. Etc. He cares about them, and Uraume cares about him. They’re the only family each other has ever had.

Heyo! I came by to ask if it’s possible that you could write a Chilchuck x non binary! Reader who has a stutter and hasn’t gotten any help for it since childhood? Like not being able to say sentences properly without suddenly pausing by accident and having moments where the reader struggles on just one word? It’s mostly because I have irl and I don’t see a lot of books about readers that have a stutter as I think it’s used mostly to be cute or uwu- so maybe Chilchuck could try to help them?
cold reading
ft… chilchuck tims x nonbinary! reader
tags… pre-relationship, pining, reader has a stutter, fluff
word count… 882
notes… hope i did a good job! i had a friend who stutters be my beta reader to make sure i did alright, but further notes are always welcome! also fun fact, a ‘cold read’ is a read through or performance of a script or text with no prior practice, so i thought it would make a cute title !!
This may have been your idea, but you were already starting to have some second thoughts about this plan.
Chilchuck was well aware that you often had some trouble speaking, but it was never something he wanted to intervene on without your permission. The man had his own fair share of experiences being babied by those around him, so the last thing he wanted to do was belittle you by acting as if he knew more about what would help you than you did. So, naturally, reaching out about wanting assistance was up to you.
If there was anyone you trusted to help you with this vice of yours, it was Chilchuck. It wasn’t even that he himself was particularly well spoken or collected — no, it was your trust in him from a personal perspective that made it so easier to confide in him. The two of you had always been pretty good friends, and plus, it was rather nice how he never judged you for things you couldn’t control.
Truth be told, seeking help from someone like Falin likely would have been equally as helpful, but if you had to be honest with yourself, you also just enjoyed spending time with the man. Something about his presence put you at ease, despite the standoffish demeanor he had most of the time.
That’s how you found yourself here, trying to read from a book while he sat patiently beside you.
However, this may have been far less embarrassing for you if the book you borrowed for this little practice session wasn’t one of Marcille’s romance novels.
“She tr- trekked across th- across the muddy dirt path, her, her boots… boots covered in…..” Even when reading completely inoffensive narration, you still tripped up on certain consonants and found yourself repeating certain words. Sometimes, you’d even lose your place or space out, and end up unconsciously repeating the end of a word when you ‘picked up where you left off’, so to speak.
Chilchuck stayed silent, of course, not wanting to be rude by calling you out or correcting you in the middle of your sentences, but the long periods of yourself speaking and nothing else did make you feel rather awkward at times. After you sighed and shook your head, signifying that you had given up, he allowed himself to speak.
“Maybe try reading some dialogue instead. It could feel more natural if it’s something you could say to an actual person instead of just narration.” At his suggestion, you nodded, letting your eyes scan the page to the closest piece of dialogue you could find.
…Ah.
Well, it wasn’t that embarrassing. Compared to the other things one might find in a novel like this, it was really rather tame. Yes, you could make this work.
When you glanced up, the half-foot was still meeting your gaze, looking as if he had something to say. You murmured a quick “Yes?”, to which he responded promptly.
“You’ve mostly been looking at the text while you’ve been talking.” One hand gestured briefly to the book you were holding. “I dunno if this is the case, but focusing too hard on the written words could trip you up.”
The statement did ring true, at least somewhat. You’d been very fixated on matching the written words to the pronunciations in your head so as to not mess them up, but maybe that was contributing to this unnatural sort of feeling you’d had while you were reading. Talking to Chilchuck certainly did help you calm down most of the time, so maybe you’d feel more relaxed if you tried that instead.
He didn’t directly tell you to, but you chose to look at Chilchuck’s face while you talked. After reading the words and trying to internalize them the best you could, looking at him was almost a way to relax your eyes. Without focusing on a particular point or feature, you let yourself just… take him in. Register that this was the person you were speaking to. Allow the words to be fully and wholly directed at him.
In hindsight, the method may have been a bit too effective, judging from how the sentence came out almost immediately and with great fervor,
“You have no idea the lengths I’d go to just to see you!”
Hey, why did the man across from you look ever so slightly pink…?
Oh.
“Oh no, no I’m so- s-so sorry! Sorry!” Your hands shot up in an apologetic yet defensive behavior, which seemed to ease Chilchuck’s nerves, judging by the small laugh he let out.
With a wave of his own hand, he responded, “You don’t need to be. Just surprised you’d get so bold all of a sudden.” He then shot you a wink and a point, something that threatened to make you melt entirely. So easily could he touch your heart, yet at the same time it was hard to falter when he smiled at you like that.
“Did a good job on that one, though. Sounded great!”
Either way, if you can one day manage to speak your true feelings to him, then maybe you’ll be able to say all the other things you want to as well.
“Tha…thank you, your help, it, um… it really means a lot.”

Prime!Knock Out meets ES! Breakdown
idk I'm just imagining Prime!Knock Out post-Breakdown's death meeting the Breakdown from Earthspark. Maybe he gets dimension-hopped there or something and now he's gotta just live in this world that clashes pretty wildly with his everything. At least his 'assistant' is here and he's still alive! Sure Breakdown is...different, but Knock Out can work with this!
Knock Out: Breakdown, dear, I have an idea for a fun evening!
Breakdown: Is it racing again?
Knock Out: Even better!! Let's take one of the Terrans and dissect them!
Breakdown: ...huh?
Knock Out: Does your hearing have a problem in this universe? I said-
Breakdown: No I heard you! But we are NOT dissecting the kids.
Knock Out: Why not?
Breakdown: Because that would be a horrible thing to do!
Knock Out: Yes, I know! What's your point?
------------------------------------------
Knock Out: Breakdown, I love you-
Breakdown: We met last week but continue.
Knock Out: And I know you like Bumblebee for reasons beyond my comprehension-
Breakdown: Because he's a nice person.
Knock Out: But if that snooty little scout ever scratches my paint job EVER AGAIN I WILL REMOVE HIS VOICE BOX LIKE MEGATRON DID MY BUMBLEBEE!
Breakdown: Have you considered talking with him about the issue?
Knock Out: Why in Primus's name would I do that?!
Breakdown: Talking with people about things usually helps them understand your perspective.
Knock Out: ...Haha! Great joke, Breakdown! Wow I missed your sense of humor.
Breakdown: I'm not joking.
Knock Out: Ok, it was funny the first time, but you can stop now!
-------------------------------
And he also has to get used to the fact that this universe lets him be out and proud.
-----------------------------------
Dorothy: And who's this, Breakdown?
Breakdown: Oh, this is my conjunx-in-another-unvierse Knock Out.
Mo: What's a conjunx?
Breakdown: I think the closest thing I could say in Earth customs would be 'spouse'. So Knock Out is my husband-in-another-universe.
Knock Out: Wait...we can actually say that here?! The best I could get in my universe was 'partners' and even that was a stretch!
Breakdown: Yeah. Why, were people homophobic in your universe?
Dorothy: Well, in my home we accept people for whoever they are, including LGBTQ+ people! One of my kids is non-binary!
Knock Out: ...I'm gay. I am a man in a relationship with another man. I date mechs instead of femmes....OH MY GOD I CAN SAY THAT HERE??!!
-----------------------------------------
Knock Out: Bumblebee doesn't like me. He must be homophobic.
Breakdown: I think it has less to do with homophobia and more that you're constantly doing unethical medical experiments and plotting to kill him.
#transformers#kobd#knock out#breakdown#transformers prime#transformers earthspark#one could also make this concept VERY angsty but idk I was in a good mood so instead it's comedy today#by the way I hate that Knock Out's name is two words. I get it but still

For all the queer people out there, it’s okay not to label yourself.
It’s okay if you don’t know what gender you are or who you’re attracted to.
Language just limits us.
It is easier to tell people what you are not than what you are.
Nothing can be explained in just one word. Imagine trying to explain all of “Crime and Punishment” in a single word. You would make the beauty, the fun, and the sad parts disappear.
Four years ago, I realized I am not cis-het. I tell everyone that I am a gay trans man.
I now know that I am a man, but not exclusively and not always.
Even the word “genderfluid” is not 100% me. I have more than 120 labels, but still, they can’t describe me as me. I don’t know how to describe it.
I just tell cis-het people that I am a boy because it’s easier, even if I am not a boy at the moment.
I found the word “Antigirl,” and even if it’s the closest thing to what I am, it’s not really me. Because sometimes I feel feminine, and I still don’t know if it’s like a woman, a femboy, or just a non-binary person who loves femininity.
The only thing that I know is that I am queer.
Tell people anything you want, but to yourself, being a mess is okay.
Maybe one day you’ll figure this out, and maybe not. Both are totally okay.
