there was this movie, probably like 15 years ago at this point? (ew), called the invisible and the premise was fucking phenomenal. the execution was corny and the story wasn't that great but the concept was *chefs kiss*
it was a fucked up love story slash supernatural teen drama (tm) about two kids who went to the same high school. the girl is from ~the wrong side of the tracks~ and the boy is from a comfortable and supportive "good" family. the girl and her friends end up jumping the boy one night, and they believe they killed him. her ~extra bad crowd~ friends go back and hide his body deep in the woods somewhere or some shit.
except he's not dead - he comes to learn he's in limbo, essentially a ghost walking among the living. no one can see him or hear him.
except her.
she's wracked with guilt over what happened bc she's Actually A Good Person (tm). she ends up becoming infatuated with him, trying to learn about her. meanwhile, the boy in limbo is following her, hoping to learn what happened and save himself (iirc he has to solve his own murder or something to wake up? idk that's where it lost the plot for me). he learns she can hear him, and he figures out how to communicate with her, and once she realizes he's alive she wants to save him.
i don't remember all the ~drama~ but in the end his body is found and he's taken to a hospital where he's in a coma. the girl is trying to get to him and gets shot by her ~bad friend~. she makes it to the hospital and to the boy's room
and she climbs into the bed with him and he's starting to regain consciousness and wake up??? except shE'S DYING ON THE BED NEXT TO HIM. they get like a brief moment together and then she dies and he fully wakes up.
anyway imagine this concept but done correctly. a love story about guilt, about hauntings, about empathy and forgiveness. where they meet in the the middle, in limbo, for a few fleeting minutes as one dies and the other rejoins the world of the living. it has sO MUCH POTENTIAL.

ooo boy here we go :D (this list is in no particular order)
Harley Quinn from DC (her journey from being the jokers "property" to becoming her own independent professional BAMF antihero is inspiring and I love her)
Abigail Hobbs from nbc Hannibal (watching her struggle to deal with her past and her father while enduring accusations from the fbi/reporters and being forced into the murder husband's life during this whole thing is so fascinating and I wish I could know more about her as a character)
Allison McRoberts from Kevin Can Fuck Himself (the blurring of lines between her trying to break free from her horrible husband while becoming horrible herself and trying to fix it is a refreshing choice and I'm glad to see more problematic/complicated protagonists)
Nica Peirce from Child's Play/Chucky franchise (she is a clever kickass survivor and I hope she gets her revenge)
Furiosa from Mad Max Fury Road (she is a beautifully unstoppable force of nature and I love her no notes)
Jennifer from Revenge (while I'm not a fan of the rape revenge genre, I enjoy seeing her fight back against her attackers and reclaim her sexuality)
Annie Newton from The Invisible (I doubt most people have seen this movie but please, go watch it, she is amazing)
Kat/Joan from The Blackcoats Daughter (I love this movie and I love this character, despite how little dialogue there is you can still feel the loneliness consuming her)
Carrie White from Carrie (this victim of abuse did nothing wrong and did not deserve to die your honor)
Erin Wyler from The Swordswoman (I just read this book and I am in love, this character and her journey is incredible)
favorite character from any media BUT it has to be a woman. in the tags now go (pls talk to me about your favorite fictional women pls pls pls pls)

Some people don’t want to hear this but sometimes accessibility is not sustainable or eco-friendly. Disabled people sometimes need straws, or pre-made meals in plastic containers, or single-use items. Just because you can work with your foods in their least processed and packaged form doesn’t mean everyone else can.

weirdest tabletop experience i ever had
be me in 2022
download a bundle of tabletop games at 3 am
find a giant pdf labeled "act one"
it's a game played by only exactly three people on different levels of reality.
you also play alternate universe versions of your characters on different levels in reality
secrets in the book are written in mirror writing
the whole book is an in-universe preserved text by someone in a different universe
i am so into this game.
best thing i've ever read.
i tell all my friends about it the next day.
"sounds cool, what's it called?"
i can find no evidence of this game.
i can find no evidence that this game ever existed.
i'm not even sure what bundle it was in.
all my friends develop the theory that this game is a dream i had.
they tease me about The Time Bird Dreamed An Entire TTRPG That Could Only Be Read In A Mirror
i find the game three years later
it's about dreams
anyway if you wished Invisible Sun was weirder you may enjoy Disparateum by Rathayibacter

Authors who post like this are so deliciously unhinged. At this point it’s not even a fic- it’s a literary hostage situation, and i am ✨sat✨ ☕️

This was a pretty interesting movie about a teenager stuck in limbo after being attacked and left for dead as he tries to figure out what has happened and how to get people to find his body.
The acting for the most part is really good and beliveable and the story keep me ingaged for the whole of the film.
Wioll defently be looking out for the orginal movie one because i enjoyed the story and want to see the orginal take on it and two because it had Joel Kinnaman and Gustaf Skarsgård in it.

haymitch carrying lou lou and hiding under a group of willow trees so the capitol can’t take her body right away, to years later, katniss singing the meadow song to a dying rue which starts with the line, “deep in the meadow, under the willow”
