Like Tweek is my favorite because I think he’s a genuinely interesting character with a lot of personality that people tend to overlook, and who I also happen to see a lot of myself in.

the OPLA showrunners: so hey due to the sheer global success of the show we’re gonna give alabasta its own season and instead end on drum island, that way we can give each of the arcs plenty of time and not have to cut as much

So apparently today team owners and nhl higher ups are meeting to discuss the possible expansion teams, they really wants to get a team in Houston and Atlanta (again…). And on the surface I think it sounds fine, but I think the league was already stretching it when they added Vegas and Seattle, although them adding Seattle wasn’t a surprise because you do kinda need an even amount of teams. Obviously the owners are for it cause if there’s an expansion they get a bunch of money. But I think they’re gonna keep on using the even number of teams excuse to keep on adding on. Obviously teams will never be short of players, there are thousands of hockey players, but there will never be an even distribution of talent. Especially in areas like goaltending where the talent needed to really succeed in the big league is (arguably) rarer and takes longer to develop. You’re really just gonna be dooming even more teams to years of misery and ‘rebuilding’. Also, I personally like the playoff system we have now where there’s 32 teams and 16 make it so 50% of the teams will go to the playoffs. And yes I like it even if it sometimes doesn’t do my team any good lol. But there gets to a point where you’re gonna end up having to completely redo the entire playoff system, and the divisions too. The nhl already has the most teams out of any major sports league in North America, and they don’t really need any more. It just sucks that money is gonna continue to screw everything up. Whether or not you actually want these expansion teams, it is just absolutely not viable in the current state of the nhl.
