I like to think Gambit wears big chunky sound proof headphones anytime he can cause 1 autism and 2 his power is to make things explode so he's gotta have something to protect his hearing from the explosions, on missions he has special made tiny ones that aren't so big and bulky

He is getting slight hearing loss though from before he started wearing protection

I like to think Rogue also has bad eyesight cause same bro and she wears contacts, she refuses to wear glasses but Remy thinks she looks cute with them

She does have a pair of red glasses for when she can't wear contacts

They both love physical affection but only with eachother, Rogue has been touch starved due to her powers and Remy tends to be touch averse due to trust issues but clings to those he trusts I think so both of them only engage in affection with people they're really close with, so they're constantly cuddling and just holding eachothers hand whenever their next to eachother

Fremika hcs because I'm obsessed and there is NO CONTENT ABOUT THEM EVER RAAAGH

Mika's love language is acts of service, he always goes out of his way to ask if Freminet has anything he needs help with at all + he cooks quite a bit and always makes sure to make enough for Freminet to take some with him in a tupperware when he next goes out diving (usually every day)

They r both quite awkward when it comes to pda but if they haven't seen each other in a while they'll find a little corner to hide in and make sure nobody can see before they kiss each other

Also, behind closed doors they're very affectionate, they just both get embarrassed by the attention that gets brought with kissing and stuff in public

They write letters rlly often when they're not in the same country, and both get teased by their respective nuisances (fremi has the twins, mika has bennys adventure team)

Mika talks a lot about this mysterious Fontaine boy he met on the expedition and always has this dreamy look in his eyes when he does. Whenever he realises he was rambling he gets rlly embarrassed and Bennett thinks its the cutest love story he's ever seen

Lyney gives Freminet stupid over the top advice that nobody but Lyney would do. He has tried to teach fremi how to pull a bouquet from his sleeve for when mika next visits but fremi keeps just ignoring him

They love sitting together in a quiet room and whispering a conversation, interrupting themselves to kiss for a moment every so often. It's very soft and very cute

They're both autistic (and t4t) so they love love LOVE infodumping to each other abt their special interests (cartography and diving/automatons respectively)

Mika always pushes Fremi's fringe out of the way when they kiss. Fremi always puts it right back when they're done tho

Freminet has resting annoyed face. He always looked pissed, or at least mildly angry at something. Mika used to be intimated but now he knows its just his face

Also mika is constantly anxious about something and frequently gets anxiety attacks, freminet knows all the ways to calm him down and if he can, he always sits with him to make sure he's okay. A good method of comfort is hand holding while they sit on the floor against a wall, Mika can feel the wall against his back and squeeze fremi's hand to ground himself without being overwhelmed by a hug.

Fremi wears such clunky boots because it makes them as tall as Mika's hair tuft. Also they like clunking around it's fun

Now as anyone who pays the slightest attention to my posts should know, I'm not shy about my sexuality. It's very important to me, and I think that it's good when trans women are able to be open about that sort of thing, even joking about it and such. But at the same time the idea of trans women as innately sexual and subhuman beings persists, whether as dangerous perverts to revile or passive objects to gratify oneself with. And I think a lot of people seem to use the fact that some trans women openly discuss their sexuality as cover to keep talking in such dehumanising terms while presenting themselves as progressive or even outright trans allies. It's all very well and good to want to fuck trans women, but you can't be acting as though that's all they're good for. All that stuff with her infodumping about (for example) Magic the Gathering while she busts in you is all well and good* but it would be great if you wanted talk to a trans woman without expecting sex to enter the equation. I imagine that this sort of thing is especially unpleasant for trans women who have no interest in sex, but even for women like me it gets tiring after a while. So like yes, you can express attraction to trans women without being a chaser, but I think some TME people are getting a little too comfortable and forgetting that they can still very much be a chaser

*although even then this genre of posts mostly originated in a t4t context where the poster could just as easily played either role is such a scenario, so there's something innately unsettling when TME people repeat this sort of language but in the terms of like their hypothetical "autistic tgirl gf" or what have you

techno is pretty affectionate with his friends! he loves to hug them and sniff them and snorf them. he's a cuddle person. he loves to nap and hold onto his friends. he does try to play it cool sometimes but techno is a dork and he loves his friends. he loves to make grand gestures of gifts or declarations of friendship. dream isn't as obvious with affection. but he sometimes leans against techno or rests his head on techno's shoulder for a second. mostly though it's just the fact he's there and he'll always be there, y'know?

dream. they're not very vivid, it's more like bits and pieces that makes it hard for him to sleep in the first place. he's a very light sleeper because of that. but the upside to having a large piglin friend is that he can basically act as a weighted blanket (phil also learned this, back in the day). having techno there helps.

this one is really hard for me because a main part of rivals duo is that they haven't betrayed each other. like, that is a key point. dream and techno both mention it, more than once. so if either of them ever did? i think it'd be a lot of complete denial. i think they'd try to come up with a reason as to why the other betrayed them. then techno would just. be sad. how did it end up like this? while dream would probably try to hide his sadness by saying he should've seen it coming.

techno is the first one to figure it out. he spends the most time around laelaps and he was also the one to spent the most time around dream out of all the people who are in consistent contact with laelaps.

Ultimately the reason Percabeth is such horrifically bad ship yet gets praised so much is that while Percy and Annabeth canonically love eachother,they also canonically don't like eachother LMAO.Percy's constantly wishing Annabeth was extremely different than who she actually is because he finds her unbearable and hard to be around and finds escapism in being around people who're unlike her with the biggest example being him having been in love with Rachel before they settled into still close exes

There's also his friendships with the Grace Sibs,Thalia had infinitely better progress with him in TTC than Annabeth has in the entire saga and he admires her a lot more too and it's a running theme that Jason is Annabeth's opposite and Percy became instant best friends with him upon first meeting and all three of their first meetings are more charming and unique than Percy saying his type is princess-y girls in his narration but Annabeth hating being seen as one because she's gnc and 'You drool when you sleep'.I also think if anybody is Percy's cosmically intertwined soulmate it's not any s/os but Nico and Hazel and by that i mean in a found siblings with him also being their pseudo-parent way.All their dynamics are interesting and richen their characters and they're from different time periods which only adds to how special their bond is

ghiaccio: hes not really a "busywork" type person and hobbies very much feel like that to him, so he doesn't do too much. he likes researching stuff and adding facts into his autism repertoire but that's sorta it. unless smoking weed is a hobby then i guess he does that too

illuso: plays guitar & is in a band, and that's his big thing. he's also really into music in general so he spends a lot of time listening to music (like at home and at concerts). also i decided hes a cosmetologist so he does hair as a side gig

melone: again, longtime friends with illuso, also dating prosciutto and uhh/ Yeah. likes to pester ghiaccio a lot and would probably say they're friends if you asked but they just sort of annoy the fuck out of each other. thinks of pesci as their lil bro. feels very weird and neutral about risotto for reasons that would take a long time to unpack

prosciutto: dating mel, tolerates illuso since him n mel are close, obviously is pesci's older sibling, and respects risotto. is deeply and truthfully entirely loathing of ghiaccio's existence and equally as truthfully forgets formaggio exists half the time

pesci: he honestly respects all of them more than he probably should since these people are all crazy but it's whateva. respects risotto the most, is mildly terrified of ghiaccio because how is he so tiny and yet so fucking scary, thinks of melone as his older sisterthing and that's sort of it for specifics tbh.

- I want to go into some detail with some Transmasc Thomas hcs because his situation is interesting imo

- As Thomas grew up, it was definitely evident to Luda Mae he wasn't like other girls

- He never enjoyed the dolls passed down to him and he'd dirty all of his old dresses/skirts just so he couldn't wear them

- It was an added feature to his social isolation growing up :/ constantly made fun of for not how he looked on the inside, but how he felt on the inside too

- It's not the best situation on the familial side of things too

- The men in his family will never be sympathetic to his situation and it's too foreign of a concept for them to support

- However Luda Mae was supporting and the biggest reason for why Tommy was allowed to be named Tommy and do the chores the other men around the house do too <3

- While she doesn't understand it, she loves her son regardless !! Even if it means constantly arguing with Holt and Monty

- His "transition" isn't much; under the strict rule of Hoyt and the time period, there's not a lot he can do

- Thomas definitely felt as if he won the genetic lottery, growing up to be 6'5" and broad
