I’m pretty convinced the way they’re gonna break up the episodes for next season is that they’re gonna sprinkle the rest of the waza episodes around for the sake of keeping up the feeling of an ongoing narrative abt Shinobu and deathtopia via consistant character appearance to have the feeling of buildup maintained. In the sense that yoimono has decent amount of Shinobu appearance but Amari and ougimono have less and if they wanted to engage in the flow of Shinobu posting to be constant for the build to shinomono in the way Nadeko’s appearances would be, they’d probably put them around there for the sake of hype.

However that is subject to change depending on how they do musubi which I can see them do a direct run through, sprinkling it next shinomono, putting individual episodes next to the 3 arcs b4 shinomono specifically to max them out for the vibe (most evil option) or doing an ova.

I think that for the rest of oraka putting sodachi fiasco as an opener to the next season and putting suruga bonehead some point after but before ougimono (I’d say that between yoi and Amari is likely bc of digestion time but also the fact we don’t have that second resolution and if you put it directly next to ougimono its gonna feel like they’re hyping towards a plot that isn’t actually gonna be resolved soon but doing that is nisio core so I’d accept it. But realistically because of the overarching Gaen izuko subplot that comes to a head by shinomono it makes sense to perform that same build up as a parallel. Really I think the best time to look at those arcs is in novel order but we can’t do that now, big signs that say look at Gaen plot will probably be successionally happening bc of this. So I think getting it in early has its merits esp if they’re going with buildup)

Do you think Danny’s hair turns white when it falls out? It’s technically dead cells anyway but when it naturally falls off his head, do you think it turns white? I think it’d be really funny if a doctor who writer just added a new time lord chapter, like have the doctor be going on about the time lords and just name a chapter we’ve never heard of before and then go ‘well they’re dead now so it doesn’t matter’ and never mention it again

oh hell yeah clytemnestra's breast-baring the libation bearers as a gesture at the falseness of the theatrical body! her point is 'look at the breast that fed you' but as we hear from cilissa, clytemnestra was not the one to breast-feed orestes as a baby, so she's appealing to a fundamental connection between the body of mother and son that isn't there within the world of the play. and also she's played by a man and does not have breasts.

why is it so rare to enjoy vanilla rainworld, downpour, and the watcher???? why does nobody else seem to genuinely love all three

i fear the ending of agatha all along is once again making people confuse “i didn’t like the ending/the ending made me sad” with “that was bad writing”

#like don’t get me wrong there are other things i wish we’d gotten (rio and agatha’s backstory and agatha getting the dark hold for instance)#but the finale made perfect sense. and like yes i understand bury your gays is never fun #but sometimes gays just die. mainly when they’re in love with DEATH like cmon #and she’s a ghost so she’s barely even dead #like y’all are out here making me defend MARVEL and their writing can we please not #agatha all along is genuinely one the best things marvel has put out in a long time - start to finish #and the writing is good - ESPECIALLY in the last two eps. sorry!#like i saw some people saying ‘oh they did used the whole show to tell us she wasn’t evil and then erased it in three seconds’#like babe if you genuinely think that i’m afraid you’re lacking media literacy #agatha IS evil they’ve never tried to deny that #there’s just also more to her than that and that’s what the show has been about #how she is misunderstood and also does a lot of bad things. two things can be true #agatha all along

genuinely my favorite villains from PPG have to be the RRB idk why but I just adore them they’re funny crazy and a bit terrifying

#if the powerpuff girls wasnt a kids show the rowdyruff boys would be a far scarier threat in my opinion #because they kicked the girls -sses TWICE #and they were very sadistic about it too #they’re very sadistic over all #which is another reason why I love them #the RRB are very much comedic with how stupid their weaknesses are clearly a joke on boys weird aversion and hatred of femininity and girls #in general #which is a shame since I kinda wish they were treated more seriously but I wish that for a lot of villains in general they’re still one of #the best villain groups in PPG #like they were first made by mojo jojo in a prison cell toilet then after being killed by the PPG gets brought back by the DEVIL himself #and they’re even stronger more unhinged and angrier then before #like I genuinely love how malicious villains are in PPG I do #I constantly rewatch the episode where the RRB get brought back because it’s such a fun episode and I love analyzing every little detail of #my favorite boys #my favorite of the RRB group is butch #no real reason I just love how weird he is like genuinely what is wrong with him😭#ppg #powerpuff girls #rrb #rowdyruff boys #my stuffy stuff #text #what makes them so scary is when they defeat the powerpuff girls in their return episode they start torturing the sh-t out of them by #knocking them around squishing them smashing them against things acting as if they’re toys to handle as they please #think they did other things but I can’t remember cause it’s been a bit since I rewatched it #these guys are insane and I love it #I wish they had more screen time unironically because when I tried searching for more episodes with them they didn’t have many #and I’m kinda sad the PPG and the RRB don’t get better reboots it’d be so fun to see these characters in newer and better forms

I want to try and get better at incorporating the more esoteric aspects of Rain World’s lore into my ask blog posts, in the sense that the spiritual and the scientific are one and the same.

Unfortunately if I am role playing as an expert I need to know more about Rain World’s cosmology than can be gleaned in-game. Which means making up a bunch of stuff from whole-cloth. Hopefully people won’t get mad if I turn out to be completely wrong about stuff I just made up…

(Also for the record TSAC is a bit of an unreliable narrator- they were programmed to mirror the biases and beliefs of their creators, who may just be completely wrong about everything. Take what they say with a grain of salt; I’m not claiming to be an authority on the lore or anything.)

#someone asked about rain world’s planet’s solar system #now I’m thinking about the planet(s) and how they relate to the Ancients’ conception of the cycle #and possibly a zodiac too #I am toying with the idea of there being two parallel zodiacs which represent the five urges as well as different passages #none of this is concrete yet and I am literally just making this shit up #idk. worldbuilding is fun. even if I’m completely wrong about all of it #personal #three stars above clouds
