Found out today that Kentucky (the state I was born in and that my birth certificate is filed with) requires you to have gender affirming surgery before you can get your gender marker changed.

This basically means that I can get EVERY OTHER IDENTIFYING DOCUMENT AMENDED WITH MY NAME AND GENDER MARKER CHANGE EXCEPT MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

Just one more reason to get top surgery, but I need help affording it!

Just had my top surgery consultation and it was only about 15 minutes. But I think it went really well and the doctor said I seem like a great candidate for top surgery! I’m so stoked, y’all! We’re getting the ball rolling and I think we might actually be able to do this!!!

My consultation went extremely well! I'm approved for surgery as soon as I have the funds to proceed!

My surgeon has said the price is $8,500 but I'm still aiming for $10,000 (for good reasons I promise!) I expect the healing to take about a month before I'm safe for general activities, but that's at least a month of bills, pet supplies, food, and other expenses that have to be taken care of. There's also doctor visits that I'm unsure if I'll have to pay for out of pocket or not (and it's better to be safe than sorry). I also have to consider aftercare supplies such as a mastectomy pillow, scar care supplies, OTC pain meds, and other similar supplies. I need to make sure I have all the money required for that prior to my inability to work so that I can guarantee that I'll be able to care for myself without falling into debt because of it.

All of that and more has been factored into the goal I have set. While I am saving my own money as best as I can, everyday expenses stack up which makes it difficult to save any amount for this (my name and gender marker change are part of this reason, though not all of it), which is why I'm asking for community help. hoppy tdov from ur bf who looks like a gf ( ive been on testosterone for 4 years and still look like this. irl most people cannot decipher my gender. transition and gender expression is different fr everyone and there is no right or wrong way to be transgender / transsexual. just be. trans identities are and always have been complex. celebrate it today instead of tearing yourself or others down for not fitting into mostly outdated concepts of gender )

so ive been on T for almost 2 years now (next month will be 2 exactly!) and i have only now discovered tdicks have foreskin. (comical that i learned that from a tumblr post lmfao but whatever) Anyway. i Checked mine. and there is a lot more than i Thought down there. … :D

im pretty decently sized now to the point where i cant get off normally anymore. now that i know where to touch its Very fucking sensitive…. My Dick Hurt!!!! i have to actually go and order a stroker toy (they make tdick sized ones :3)

It would be absolutely phenomenal if anyone could send me links to legitimate sites that will give grants for help with top surgery or give me advice on setting up a go fund me!!
