It's always wild to me how, at least for me and if memory serves my classmates, we just accepted that the First Nationers in the now US were slaughtered and sold as the bad guys.
How the fuck did we do that? How did we see Custard and go "Yea, def good guy material there?"
My only thought is that being sold on American Exceptionalism since Pre-K made us ignore the genocide, oppression, and conquest.
"Oh but we're real sorry now" we were told, leaving out the fact we have done jack shit to actually even ATTEMPT to make it right on a Federal level.
FUCK we ate that up, and it's disgusting that kids were sold genocide as a good thing. Makes you think about the kids in Israel. I can empathize with them at least. The adults? Not really. They've had time and experience to learn. Refusing to does not excuse it, same for me and what my country has done.

this is what everyone has been saying!! no one is looking at celebrities for political statements, but they should and must use their platform to amplify the voices of those who need and most importantly be against this genocide!!
In front of the United States whitehouse there is a poster board with this written on it: "A message from Gaza: We do not just want your eyes on Rafah. We want your foot on "Israel's" neck. Organize and escalate."
