I mean her exact age isn't known but I assume she's around Akutagawa's age. so like. she was Akutagawa's driver even at 14? she's been around the mafia for that long? what even is her backstory? how did she get there? literally the first scene :'). I'm not kidding when I say I wrote nearly all of Clouds without any outline. one day I was really sleep deprived (as always) and bored with online classes, so I decided to scrape together a fic out of the weird crack ideas that were bouncing around my head. the first two chapters were written in one go with minimal revisions, and it Shows. like, you can absolutely Tell that I had no idea what I was writing. which means that writing chapter 5 is a much bigger issue for me than it should be, because now I have to decipher what on earth I was thinking when I decided to open up the ao3 editor at 4 am. I've recently decided that instead of waiting until I somehow magically get motivation to finish chapter 5 before rewriting the old chapters, I should instead first rewrite the first 4 (while uploading the original versions to Tumblr of course) to get the brain juices flowing and then return to the wip chapter I haven't touched in uh *checks notes* 9 months. also once again sorry for the extremely long delay @lusciouscollie-blog, writing is Hard. if you're interested, I posted another fic a little over a year ago called O Overcoat, and I consider it my magnum opus, so if you have a craving for more Echelon writing you can check it out if you want :)

one piece fans shitting on the new episode and calling it over-hyped because there wasn't a ton of fighting just don't get it. and honestly it makes me wanna burn the entire shonen community to the ground so we can have a fresh start.

what makes gear 5 so crazy is how its the culmination of all of one piece's themes put into one power-up !! its about liberation and freedom and laughter !! if you don't understand the importance of those things then you just don't understand one piece. but no. anime fans don't give a shit about a good narrative. they only want to see cool fights and big boobs. and this episode didn't have a ton of either so it must be bad.
