I think it would make him worse. I think reader not having anyone in a romantic sense made it easier for ghost to slowly insinuate himself into your space, to show up unannounced, to present himself as a fuck when you needed it, all the while planning to become a permanent fixture.

If reader had had someone, if Neil had worked out, if Tommy's daycare teacher had the guts to speak her mind when she first met you, if the man who sold you Tommy's used crib hadn't lost your number when you gave it to him, it would have made Ghost so much more unbearable. Because he'd speed through the process. He wouldn't have given you time to get used to it, to acclimate, he wouldn't have let you introduce him to Tommy on your terms, on your time frame. He would've told your son who he was the second he met him. Would've bought the house next door. Because if you had someone, they'd know what he knew about you. That you're good. So good. So right. That you can and should fit into the side of someone, under their arm and around their waist, you can and should give them your love, your smiles, your time. And they wouldn't be a coward, they would lock that shit down. They would take you away from him.

I think he'd become the burr in their side. Whoever had you. Whoever you had. He'd lurk like a stain on your beautiful family portrait, on Tommy's fridge drawings. Be a black mark so jarring, so insistent, that eventually, the pressure would wear them down into nothing. Until they disappeared on you too. And then Ghost would be there. Next door. In your missed calls. On your couch. Until he could pick up the pieces.

“America has no culture” is an inherently racist statement. Especially when talking about California, which has enormous populations (yes, plural) of Hispanic and Asian immigrants.

It’s such a self report that you see the American hegemony, the American monolith, as a singularly white entity that’s worthy of scorn. He starts getting notes from a coworker in-app, and assumes its this annoying older guy in his department who constantly undermines him because of his age, despite his education and past achievements (i feel like in this AU the Fentons react well to the reveal and they work together on a number of non-lethal ecto inventions that have Danny's name attached to them)

Except one day his coworker mentions never using the app, and Danny suddenly realizes there's only one other TD he could've been arguing with in the notes of the app

Occasionally I picture Nightwing calling Red Hood "little wing" in front of others and people looking between this huge, 6'0 feet tall man with growing white hair, and then Nightwing, a shorter man who has flawless skin, probably around his 20's, and a fit but not too buff build and they just- don't know what's happening. Is it some kind of inside joke they aren't aware of? Why is Nightwing acting as if he's years older than Red-fucking jacked-Hood?

I know someone's gonna yell bait about this but idc, like, what? Do you want proof? Video evidence? Grow up.

So I (30x) really like Goya's Black Paintings. Like, Saturn Devouring His Son, Duel with Cudgels, A Pilgrimage to San Isidro. I think they're hypnotic, beautiful, evocative. They make me feel emotions I can't quite explain properly.

As the title says, sometimes I beat my meat to them. Whatever. It's not really about horniness. But the intent doesn't matter.

Recently (in a discussion about sexuality in art, I promise it was relevant, similar sentiments were being shared) I mentioned to my partner (33nb) that I do this. They were pretty taken aback.

Apparently, they find this 'gross' and 'kind of dodgy' because Goya's black paintings were never intended to be shared with a wider audience. They were art that he did not mean to share, painted on the walls of his house near the end of his life. They say it seems like the work is too personal to jerk off to, that it seems invasive or like a violation.

I don't think it's a big deal. The guy is dead, it's not like his ghost knows what I'm doing. It's a good thing to consider, but I don't think it ultimately matters, ethically.

So, I guess AITA for this?
