The God’s power- evolution phenomena
Many have wondered why the same animal can look so drastically different in two different nations to the point that they are now different species. The answer to this is the nation’s patron God’s magic and power. The Gods are manifestation of the elements they wield, so much so that they are one with the element itself. This has caused that the fauna and flora that live in the surrounding area evolve and change in tandem with the God’s element. For this reason, it is very easy to identify where the creature or animal comes from.
The animals tend to adapt on the God’s form. For example, Onisona’s God, Alagbede, has a reptilian-like form with earthy tones, spikes, and straight or jagged patterns all over. This has made the surrounding wildlife to evolve and mimic these patterns, shapes, forms, and colors. Not only that, but the grand majority of the wildlife there have even adapted a reptilian-like form. They are either reptiles mimicking the bodies of other animals, or non-reptiles mimicking reptiles. It is a very strange phenomenon.
Another phenomenon is the one where an animal or creature migrates to another nation and changes in a very short period of time. For example, some lizard species, such as the monkey-tailed skincoid have migrated to the neighboring nation of Kananya, and, in just a couple of generations, have changed quite a bit to their Onisonan counterparts. The Kananian variant are more bird-like with beaks and some feathered areas, and they even have a more flower-like pattern to them, mimicking the Goddess of Nature, Mamá Mayna.
This phenomena has even affected the various races of the world, although to a lesser extent. A family of a certain race that has migrated to another nation may begin to notice some changes in later generations. Another example in Onisona are the binturongs. Binturongs are actually native to the Kemet region of the Nahida Kingdom, which is the closest to Onisona. Long ago, a group of binturongs migrated there, and the population there looks different than their Nahdian counterparts. Onisonan binturongs have much more muscle mass and stockier bodies; some in their upper bodies, others in their lower bodies; while Nahdian binturongs are a lot slimmer with much longer tails that can serve even more as another hand. Their coloration is also different. Nahdian binturongs have a reddish tint to them, while Onisonan are either more purpleish or greenish.
These are the observations I have encountered and read.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
#yeehaw#1k#5k#10k#posts that got cursed. blasted. im making these tag updates after... 19 hours?#also i have been told it should say speech loss bc nonverbal specifically refers to the permanent state. did not know that!#unfortunately i fear it is so far past containment that even if i edited it now it would do very little. but noted for future reference#edit 2: nvm enough ppl have come to rb it from me directly that i changed the wording a bit. hopefully this makes sense#also. in case anyone is curious. though i doubt anyone who is commenting these things will check the original tags#1) my friend did not do this on purpose in any way. it was not intended to distract me or to hit on me. im a lesbian hes a gay man. cmon now#he felt very bad about it afterwards. i thought it was hilarious but it was very embarrassed and apologetic#2) “why didn't he use 🫵🏼?” didn't exist yet. “why didn't he use 🆗?” dunno! we'd been using a lot of hand emojis. 👌🏼 is an ok sign#like it makes sense. it was just a silly mixup. also No i did not invent 👉🏼👌🏼 as a gesture meaning sex. do you live under a rock#3) nonspeaking episodes are a recurring thing in my life and have been since i was born. this is not a quirky one-time thing#it is a pervasive issue that is very frustrating to both myself and the people i am trying to communicate with. in which trying to speak is#extremely distressing and causes very genuine anguish. this post is not me making light of it it's just a funny thing that happened once#it's no different than if i post about a funny thing that happened in conjunction w a physical disability. it's just me talking abt my life#i don't mind character tags tho. those can be entertaining. i don't know what any of you are talking about#Except the ppl who have said this is pego/ryu or wang/xian. those people i understand and respect#if you use it as a writing prompt that's fine but send it to me. i want to see it#aaaand i think that's it. everyday im tempted to turn off rbs on it. it hasn't even been a week

I am aware I have died on this hill before but people who really strenuously argue that fanfic isn't "real writing" drive me insane. what do you meeeaaaaannn. besides the fact that any attempt to define "real art" vs "fake art" is inherently reactionary, it just doesn't make any sense. it's Writing. people Write it. what the fuck are you talking about.

40,000 years ago, early humans painted hands on the wall of a cave. This morning, my baby cousin began finger painting. All of recorded history happened between these two paintings of human hands. The Nazca Lines and the Mona Lisa. The first TransAtlantic flight and the first voyage to the Moon. Humanity invented the wheel, the telescope, and the nuclear bomb. We eradicated wild poliovirus types 2 and 3. We discovered radio waves, dinosaurs, and the laws of thermodynamics. Freedom Riders crossed the South. Hippies burned their draft cards. Countless genocides, scientific advancements, migrations, and rebellions. More than a hundred billion humans lived and died between these two paintings—one on a sheet of paper, and one on the inside of a cave. At the dawn of time, ancient humans stretched out their hands. And this morning, a child reached back.

The Gods and Their Division
Although everyone knows of the Gods since they are prevalent part of our day to day life, not many know that there are 2 divisions of Gods. There are the Elder Gods and the Younger Gods. Yes, I know it may be counteractive to call a group of gods the Younger Gods even though they are thousands of years old, but that’s just how they divide themselves. I don’t make the rules. Although for many the Gods don’t really have many differences apart from appearances and roles, once you get into it, there are actually a lot of things that just fit in.
The Elder Gods are the first 7 seven Gods created. These include: the Goddess of Nature, the God of Soil, the God of Rock, the Goddess of Volcanoes, the God of Water, the God of Predators and Snow, and the Goddess of Ice and Prey. These 7 Gods helped in the creation of the ecosystem of our planet. They shaped the earth, sprouted plants, made volcanoes, separated the lands with water, and started the circle of life. They all have a deep connection with nature and its qualities. And just how nature is beautiful, it can also be deadly. This is the other quality that distinguishes the Elder Gods to the Younger Gods.
All have their magnificent beauty and splendor, but they can also be deadly, and it shows in their appearance. All of them look very animal-like compare to the Younger Gods, which look more human. They may have multiple extremities, large claws and teeth, stand on all fours, and overall look very uncanny. You can see the humanity in them, but you first see how dangerous they can be. This may be the reason why the societies and cultures that are under their rule are not as technologically advanced as the rest. They are in tune with nature and have a deep respect to it. The only exception to this rule would be the Nahda Kingdom, but I believe it is only because our god, the God of Soil and Knowledge, sees technology as a progression of knowledge, but only to a certain extent. It can be used to widen our field and help learn things better, but not to the point where it completely takes over our lives.
The Younger Gods started with the creation of the God of Light and the Goddess of Shadows. They include: of the God of Light, the Goddess of Shadows, the God of Seasons, the God of Wind, the Goddess of Fire, and the Goddess of Electricity. These Gods I’ve seen the trend that, although they represent an element of sorts, they mostly follow a belief or a concept. For example, the God of Wind represents freedom, while the Goddess of Electricity represents innovation. This has come to the point that for some of these Gods, people just refer to them as the concept they represent. These Gods look the most like your everyday person with a magical feel to them. The only 3 that still look relatively animalistic are of the God of Light and the Goddess of Shadows for being the first to start the new era, and the Goddess of Fire for being the daughter of the Goddess of Volcanoes. The start of the new era of Gods was caused by the arrival of Mayantli after the Cataclysm. I talked more about this deadly entity here:
The Gods are a very intriguing topic for me as an archeologist and history major. I would love to know more about the ancient history of bygone eras, what had changed. That’s all for now,

You meet god and she's mostly dead fish. You ask her why and she says most of the world is dead fish, and she's made herself to appeal to the most common denominator, the everyman funnyman comedy show that runs for eleven seasons but with the entire universe in mind. You ask her how much of the dead fish is your fault, she says it's far less than you'd think, in the grand scheme of things. You ask her if you matter at all. If you can do anything. She shrugs her rotting shoulders and says mattering is a made-up concept, like life, but sure, you can matter if you want to, on some scale. She has many scales. She doesn't know what you mean by 'anything', but you can do everything you can. You ask her if it's enough. She says there's no base requirement for deserving to exist. She's smoking a joint and the smoke filtering out of her gills gathers and forms gas giants and red dwarfs. You ask her if there's any hidden secrets of the universe you should know and she says it's not a secret if she tells, plus it's fun to let you figure it out yourself. You ask her if any of your questions were right questions and she says you worry about being right so much it might keep you from fucking around, which is as close to meaning of life as she ever bothered to make. You don't ask but she says she loves your hair, also your whole being, also your planet. She says she figured out what love is yesterday and is trying it out, which explains the ten thousand rainbows and sudden influx in rains of fish. She offers you a drag of her joint and you wake up half past midnight behind a chain restaurant clutching a smoked salmon. The new stars are winking like they're in on some joke and you're sure if you try hard enough you'll remember what it is.

There comes a day at the start of each summer when I must put my baseball cap on sideways and go out back to my air conditioner. I gingerly stroke the rusty metal coils over its freon heart and say, "Sup, home skillet? Wake up, it's 1995!"
And the air conditioner says, "Oh snap, for real? I thought it was much later. I feel so old."
In a goofy voice I say, "Yeah, it's like 2024 or something... not!"
It laughs nervously. It says, "As if!"
I tell it, "Take a chill pill, it's really 1995."
"Then I'm only 5 years old? Wack."
I nod. "Yeah, duderoni. Go ahead and start up for me one more time. It's gonna be a scorcher."
It shudders. Something rattles deep inside it. Slowly, the fan starts to spin. Faster, faster, it whirls. The air conditioner laughs in relief. "I feel young!" it says. "I feel so young!"
