- canon Crowley doesn't remember much of Heaven and Aziraphale remembers him Before but Crowley doesn't, and

- and I think that Miracle Blocker card will come back too. Either as a plot twist used by the antags as a All Is Lost Blake Snyder beat, or Crowley or Aziraphale use it in the dramatic climax

- but yeah, you got this team now working together to stop the Second Coming

- I have nothing for this, so maybe she has the baby and raises it normally or gets an abortion lmao

- and it's gonna be something like Crowley getting kidnapped by Heaven I reckon

- we see Aziraphale be ANGRY angry, barging into Heaven demanding for his Crowley

- just as Crowleys name is being crossed out in the Book, Aziraphale finds him and saves him (with a kiss or smth lmao), and their miracles work together to create one so powerful it fixes Crowley's name in the Book of Life

- it doesn't have to be the Book - I just really want true love bringing a person back from being destroyed or something, man

- and on that note, I think Aziraphale will do One Big Sacrifice to parallel all the little ones Crowley does for him. And it's going to be for Crowley, like saving his life or something

- I think it's gonna be a big thing though, like maybe Aziraphale keeping his powers but no longer being considered an angel. OR he gives up all his powers but is still immortal. OR he just becomes human, but something big

- (but I don't think Falling big, cause it's a nice way to show that despite him no longer being for Heaven and giving it up entirely, he still has the spirit and virtue of an angel)

- and whatever Aziraphale becomes, Crowley will follow, and then off to the South Downs cottage

- also God comes in, as a human body or something. But either way, She narrates the last part of the series cause now "the story is going exactly how it should"

Despite hardly knowing each other beforehand Weiss and Coco become close friends instantaneously. For some time, Weiss hides her secret that she’s trans, but Coco finds out herself in bed by seeing Weiss’s penis and it nearly causes them to lose each other as friends. Eventually the 2 become close friends again, eventually falling in love, enjoying sex and more.

She felt her scroll vibrate with a call and she slowly answered it, putting on the false smile she wore around her team. “Ruby? I thought you and the rest of the team were in Vale for the day.” 

“We were, but had to come back,” Ruby explained. “If you’re not busy, we could catch up on studying in a bit-” 

“Actually, there’s something I wanted to tell you.” Weiss started to walk back to the dorm, nervously tapping her scroll as a few tears managed to sneak their way down her cheeks. “Can you make sure Blake and Yang come back to the dorm with you? There’s… something that the three of you should know.” 

“Are you okay? Did something happen?” 

Weiss wiped away a few tears and shook her head. “I’m fine, nothing important happened. Just… you promise to be my friend no matter what, right?” 

“Yeah, I do.” 

“Thanks, that’s all I needed to hear.” Weiss ended the call and opened up the door to her dorm and took a deep breath as she walked in so she could steady herself. She had to tell her team so they wouldnt think she was lying. They had to know the truth about her.

Weiss tapped her mug nervously as she waited for Coco to join her in the cafe. Months had passed since they last talked, and since then, she has done nothing but worry about what Coco would think. Though, she was glad her team at least supported her. Her heart skipped a few beats as she watched Coco walk in.

Weiss moved her mug closer to her and didnt look up as she spoke. “You were the one who invited me here in the first place…” 

“Right.” 

Weiss looked up a little as Coco sat down, her heart racing as she waited for her to speak. She sipped her coffee. Her eyes focused on Coco for a moment as the minutes passed by, until she heard Coco finally speak, nearly jumping out of her seat. 

“I thought about things, Weiss, and… I think I acted… rashly.” 

Weiss’s grip tightened around her mug. “You…do?” 

“I do.” Coco sighed and looked away as she tried to figure out her words. “And… I’m sorry.” 

Weiss started to relax as she watched Coco start to become shy as she spoke. It was different from what she had been used to with the huntress in training. “I… thank you.”

It has been a LONG time since I have updated on the Fatal Flaws legacy so we have a lot of progress to get through!

I didn't get great screenshots but all of gen four have left us :'( To be fair, they were reasonably older when they started had kids so it's not a surprise, however...

This ep was great & all but really if THIS was two episodes (yeah it was great it was fine u can make it two episodes long) then you REALLY should have made the fenton o'connel arc two episodes long. I would have LOVED that. Esp bc Ryan was just undercover for like a day & a half??? this time around? Like last time it was over a year! Totally would have been more fun & honestly made more sense if it took maybe three days, or a whole week. (tho that would be a long time, there is usually one week between the episodes.) & if it was two eps long we could have seen more of the rest of the team & their reactions & feelings & their side of things. Could have added so much, made the plot a bit longer. Not necessarily more complicated, just... more steps.

Yeah, I've seen it and honestly, the whole thing is both sad and hilarious. Bumbleby, Catradora, Bubbline, Lumity, Damie, Korrasami, Xena/Gabrielle-- I'm literally a fan of most of the ships in that poll. People attacking one ship or another are fucking stupid, because they're all great and important in their own ways. This poll thing is supposed to be fun and people are taking it too personal.

Because if you are queer and you actually watch the show, then you know that Bumbleby is going to be canon and CRWBY's not baiting anyone. They have canonical romantic feelings towards one another. It is clear that they are going to be a couple, they simply are taking their time to develop them. It's called a slowburn for a reason, guys.

People talking about the lack of rep in this show is also kind of hilarious. Blake is canonically bisexual, Yang is canonically sapphic as well and, like I said, it's clear that they are going to be a couple. Ilia is also a lesbian. Saphron and Terra are both sapphic. Coco is a lesbian, too. Scarlet and Nolan are gay. And of course, we have May Marigold, who is canonically a transgender woman, and Shion, a non-binary character. And more queer-coded characters.

You can argue that Coco, Nolan and Scarlet being gay is only mentioned on side content, like RWBY Chibi or the novels. Or that Shion is only part of Ice Queendom. But even if you don't want to count them because of that—even if the first three are probably gonna be mentioned next volume, all of them being in Vacuo and all—, the main show still includes five canon sapphic characters (2 of them, 2/4 of the protagonists) and a trans character.

And no “they are implied, not explicit, so homophobes can still watch the show” bullshit, like I've seen some people say. Blake and Yang having feelings for each other is not implied, it's a fact; even other characters, like Nora, say so: it's pretty explicit. Ilia, a girl, confesses to Blake, another girl, that she used to be in love with her. Saphron—who is based of fucking Sappho—and Terra are quite literally married, call each other “my wife” on-screen, and have a child together. And May quite literally, explicitely says she's trans on-screen as well.

Could the show have more MLM rep? Absolutely, and the writers themselves have said they want to include more. But criticizing RWBY for “lack of rep” is proof that you either don't watch the show or you're stupid, because RWBY has more canon queer representation than most mainstream shows.

Please dont feel like im coming for your neck specifically if this is your hc its totally valid to want ace representation and it would only feel natural to assign it to the character who doesnt have any relationships as a part of their backstory or characterization but I feel like only assigning Mulchahy with this role is not only some pretty upsetting ace tokenism but harmful to the sanctity of his faith and vows he took on as a priest. That being said! I think Mulchahy is bisexual (and would probably think Jesus was too) and I think you could address him with he/they pronouns but has a slight preference towards he.

Sidney Freedman- It seems like almost everyone in my post has come down with a case of the bisexual he/theys 🤒 but yeah besides Hawkeye I think Sidney would be the vocal about his identity? Do you think CRWBY would have the guts to have Penny admit she has a big old crush on Ruby, the same way Ilia did for Blake? Because I feel like the girl does have a big old crush. LIke a big fat one.

I think it’s less a matter of guts than a matter of intent.

As I said before, nuts and dolts as an intense, formative platonic bond for both Ruby and Penny is still a very valid reading of their relationship till now. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very much into n&d and the romantic coloring of it is there if they want to take it there, but I don’t think that was the original plan.

If we take bumbleby as an example, you can see how RT had them planned from the get go, down to their very character designs being complementary. Ilia, as well, was intended to be the first officially introduced lgbt character. I don’t see that kind of intent in n&d. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen! Sometimes some subplots and relationships grow organically from the writing without first being planned that way. Becky Albertalli, for example, saw the response to the Leah/Abby storyline (or the potential there that the readers picked up on) and realized she had unwittingly planted the seeds for what would be the sequel to Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and would be a great f/f storyline (check it out if you haven’t already btw).

So RT could totally go over what they’ve put out so far and be like oh. This is something that developed organically and could definitely lead to another great lgbt storyline, which, paired with Penny’s trans coding would be incredible. But I honestly wouldn’t fault them if they didn’t take the story there.

But also yes Penny has a big fat crush on Ruby and she fills the Classic RWBY Love Interest Prerequisites that is:

- she Sees and is Seen by Ruby from the very get go; Ruby just immediately sees to the heart of Penny, regardless of her having a metallic body she’s always affirmed how Penny is real and human to her. And Penny is inspired by Ruby’s kindness and courage and nobility. Tbh a great moment is Penny immediately pegging Ruby’s semblance before she herself was aware of all it entailed; surface level it’s a great joke, but it also speaks volume abt Penny’s ability to grasp what makes Ruby’s soul.

- Parallel/complimentary struggles and arcs! Ruby has to contend with being one of the last specimens of an otherwise extinct line of warriors that could be key to saving the world, Penny has to learn how to basically be Remnant’s equivalent of a superhero. They’re in unique positions to understand each other best (which is actively being reflected rn)

I don’t know how this turned into an N&D manifesto but yeah basically I don’t know if they were planned to come off this way nor would I be miffed if RT ultimately doesn’t go there with them but. The seed is there, and it’s been growing, and it’d be kinda neat if it did end up flowering.

Yeah, I don't know, I still think that with how heavily they're pushing Coco and making her this huge deal in Chibi, it's very possible that both things can be true. "They originally intended to feature Coco in Chibi years ago before hiatus," isn't exactly contradictory to 'With how heavily they're pushing Coco worship in Chibi, it seems like they might feature her more in Vacuo.' But, with that said, it's very possible that she won't be featured in Vacuo or that if she is, Chibi wasn't intended to connect to that.

Idk, I just feel like with Coco being the focus of the first two new Chibis (seriously she of all people being the focus of the first two episodes and not - y'know - anyone important is weird enough from the start,) and hearing that her being gay was at least hinted at in most of the skits she's been featured in... It's hard for me to think that there's no secondary motive for them featuring her the way they featured her, if that makes sense.

Like, including Coco might not have meant anything, but them constantly trying to remind us she's cool and that everyone loves her and that she's very gay you guys, that feels like they're doing that for a reason. Whether that's because they might bring her back in seasons 9 or 10, or because they're trying to get the 'rep' points without doing any real work or taking any real risk with it, or because they're trying to make people forget that she's based off of a N*zi... Or maybe it is for no reason and they just still somehow think it's okay to prominently feature her just because they think she's cool and they just dgaf.

Sorry if I'm coming across a little venomous, it's not directed at you, don't worry! I just really hate Coco and hate that she's being pushed still and that there's a possibility she'll be in seasons 9 or 10. As a queer woman, Coco being gay herself doesn't mean she shouldn't immediately be removed from RT's lineup in both the main series and any spinoff projects like the books and Chibi due to the antisemitism of basing her off of a N*zi spy. Maybe instead of having a queer character who barely matters in the show proper and is a sadistic snipe in the book who was based off of a N*zi, we could have confirmed Bumblebee and confirmed gay Blake and Yang and bi Qrow and Trans Nora or any main character who actually matters doing more than nuzzling foreheads and exchanging looks. That sounds like the bare minimum, to me.

klinger deserves a some like it hot plot where he accidentally seduces a general, and thats his actual way out of the war. Also trapper seems to be embracing the jimmy buffet way of life, love that for him.

We should want good rep, because bad rep has been used time and time again by homophobes as to say we shouldn’t get representation. To me it’s not “gay can have the same flaws as het”, it’s “fix the flaws in the het”. Also I know Renora being independent was a good, I was just saying in comparison BB. Also, yes, they were separated, but also didn’t stop thinking about each other. Especially bad with Yang.

Indulge me for a moment because I want to take a trip down memory lane and list some—just some—of the queer rep that has been important to me over the years:

Ellen comes out both as herself and as her character… years later, she’s a hated millionaire who is criticized for how she treats her staff

The wildly influential Buffy gives us two women entering a loving relationship… except then Tara is killed off, Willow goes evil for a time, and Buffy comes under fire for Joss Whedon’s everything

The beloved and respectable headmaster of one of the most popular book series ever published is revealed to be gay… except it doesn’t count because it wasn’t in the text and now all of Harry Potter is cancelled because JKR is transphobic

Kurt is an unambiguously gay teen in a hugely popular TV series, acting as one of the first overt representations a generation has seen… except he’s way too stereotypical and Glee is a joke now

Orange is the New Black gives us a number of queer women, including one of our first trans characters… but isn’t it problematic that they’re all criminals?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine hosts an out gay captain and gives us a bisexual coming out story that resonated with many, myself included… except now we’re supposed to hate all the characters on principle because they’re cops

Korra and Asami walk off into the spiritual sunset together… but they never kiss or anything, so that doesn’t count either

Steven Universe gives us a queer relationship and a wedding… but it’s an issue that this is just a kid’s show and, really, does it count when the rep is embodied by space rocks whose entire species only creates a single gender? Feels like a cop-out

Same with Good Omens. Yeah, Crowley and Aziraphale clearly love each other… but you never see them kiss or declare their intentions. It’s great ace rep though! Unless you want to level the criticism that asexual characters are always nonhuman

A character intended to be a minor guest becomes a show staple and eventually declares his love for one of the two main characters… except then Castiel immediately dies, Dean doesn’t respond, and they never meet on screen again

I finished Queen’s Gambit the other day and the main character had a one-night stand with a woman! … but everyone is talking about how bisexuality is used to represent her lowest point, so that’s bad too

I could go on for literal pages. Some of these arguments I agree with (Dumbledore), others I’ve pushed back against quite strongly (Crowley and Aziraphale), but all of them are valid criticisms depending on what part of the queer community you’re in and what your expectations are. My point here is that it’s all “bad rep.” I mean that seriously. If anyone reading this is scrambling for the comment section to say why [insert media title here] is actually fantastic rep, I guarantee that someone disagrees. Or if they don’t, give it some time. Just wait until the characterization becomes offensively outdated, or another part of the story ruins the relationship, or it comes out that the author did something truly horrific, or the terminology changes and it’s labeled as “problematic” now… just wait. At some point, any rep we feel is good rep now will be criticized, cancelled, and dragged through the mud. The rep that I personally haven’t seen much push-back against—like the beloved Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who, or Schitts Creek that just won a ton of awards—is wrapped up in the criticism, “So it’s all just about able-bodied, cis, (mostly) white dudes, huh? :/”  Even the argument that queer characters need to be written by queer authors doesn’t hold up. I absolutely adored Sense8. “Wow, a gay main character in a loving relationship with another gay man, both of whom enter a loving poly relationship with a woman, another lesbian trans main character who marries the love of her life on screen, an entire cast arguably queer due to them sharing orgy scenes centered around the emotional intimacy they share, everyone survives, and this was written by two trans women! Great, right?” Well, not according to the wealth of opinions explaining how Sense8 is horrible rep, actually. Every piece of rep we’ve got is either currently flawed or will become flawed in the future.

So what do we do with that?

That’s where my “I’d rather have bad rep than no rep at all” comes in. For me, that’s not waving the white flag. That’s not an oath that I won’t expect better rep in the future (I do) or that I won’t criticize the rep we get (BOY DO I), but rather just an acknowledgement of reality. The vast majority—if not the entirety—of rep is “bad rep” in one way or another, but I’d still rather have it than nothing at all. Because I’ve lived just long enough and studied media just enough to know what nothing looked like. It was watching all queer characters meet untimely deaths. Before that it was watching queer characters be derided and treated as jokes. Before that it was nothing but coding, where queer characters didn’t exist except in our own headcanons and interpretations. Obviously “bad rep” covers a very large range of issues and “They haven’t even confirmed this relationship yet” is a bigger issue than “This queer character embodies one or two, mild stereotypes,” but ultimately I’d take any of it over nothing at all. And enjoying what we’ve currently got doesn’t mean I’m willing to settle for it indefinitely.

To use an iffy analogy, imagine there’s a factory. This factory makes plates. So. Many. Plates. Big plates, small plates, plain plates, decorative plates, plates for every possible occasion in your life—and everyone with a steak for dinner is pleased as punch. You though? You’ve got soup. You need a bowl. Your entire life you’ve been struggling to eat your soup off a plate (it doesn’t work) and listening to friends and family claim that the plate with a slightly raised edge could be a bowl if you squint (it’s not). To say it’s frustrating is an understatement.

But then, one day, the factory starts producing bowls too. Hurray! Except as soon as you get your hands on one, you’re told you really shouldn’t be using it, let alone praising it. Look at the state of that bowl! It’s cracked right down the middle, ugly as hell, shoddily made all around… you’re not really going to settle for that, are you? And no, you obviously still want the factory to produce better bowls, but at the same time, this is a bowl. You’ve never gotten one before and you can finally enjoy your meal, even if the soup leaks at times. Sometimes a lot. But you’re still feeling better about your meal than you ever have before. And what you then begin to realize is that lots of the plates are a mess too. They also have cracks, they’re also ugly, many are also shoddily made. The difference is that the factory is producing so many plates at such a rapid pace that every steak eater is able to get by. One plate breaks completely? You’ve got a thousand fallbacks. Don’t like the look of this one? A thousand other options. You disagree about what “shoddily made” means? Luckily there are enough plates that everyone can find what they prefer! But the bowls… there’s only a few. Some are really expensive. Others are only available for a limited time before they suddenly disappear. Your bowl breaks and you have to wait months, years sometimes, to get another one. You’re constantly told to go buy this one obscure bowl no one else has heard about and yeah, you like it... but you’d also like to buy one of the bowls everyone is already enjoying. You find yourself looking at the plates and thinking, “I’d like that. I’d like to have so many options that the flaws, while still a problem, are much more bearable.” You’re still going to demand that the factory get its shit together, you’re still going to (rightly) complain about the awful quality of your bowl… but it’s still nice to have a bowl, period. There are still things you like about it, even if it’s a mess: the color, the size, the beauty of the shape of it. Its potential. You’re still pleased you have something to enjoy and that helps serve the need you’re looking to fill, even if that something is imperfect.

That’s “bad rep is better than no rep.” To bring this very long response back to Blake/Yang, I don’t think their problems negate their benefits. Is their relationship currently non-canonical and filled with a number of writing issues everyone has a right to be angry about? Yup. I express that anger a great deal. Are they still half of a team on a very popular show that is (presumably) set to be canonized as queer? Yup. I’d much rather live in a world where big shows like RWBY try to include queer rep and fail in a multitude of ways—with the expectation and hope that they’ll continue to improve—rather than in a world where authors a) don’t care or b) are too scared to try. Because that’s where a “good rep or no rep” stance leads. The danger isn’t homophobes because they’re, well, homophobes. It doesn’t matter if the rep is good or not, they hate it on principle. But if queer authors writing for other queer identities, or allies writing queer identities, or even queer authors writing their own experiences (like in Sense8) continually come under non-stop fire for their attempts… there’s a good chance that many people won’t ever try. We’re already seeing that here on tumblr with young authors admitting that they wouldn’t touch [insert topic here] with a ten-foot pole because just look at what happens when you get it wrong. And authors will get things wrong because authors are fallible people forever unlearning their own ignorance. So though it might sound strange coming from a blog that has turned into such a RWBY critical space, I am glad that RWBY’s queer rep exists, despite all the frustrations that I share about it. I think a RWBY with various types of “bad” queer rep is better than a RWBY with no queer rep at all, particularly when “bad” or “good” is so intensely subjective. There’s a middle ground between passively accepting whatever we’re given, and tearing into rep with such ferocity that we end up rejecting it all. There’s a space where we can be critical of rep and embrace the parts that work for us, simultaneously.

I hope and expect the het rep will get better too, but… that’s never going to happen instantly. To quote RWBY, there’s no magic wand we can wave to fix all our problems. Rather, it will take slow, plodding, meandering, lifetimes’ worth of work to see that change occur and I personally don’t want to spend the one life I have waiting for that perfect rep to show up. Because it’s unlikely that it will. While we work, I’d rather find the good in what rep we’ve already got.

They’ve never been here. Not really. Sometimes in daydreams and fantasies, but that’s what they were. Just all in their head. Now, however, after some persuasion from the goddess among them, Penelope successfully dragged Reid out to the bar. And after a while Morgan drove them home. They were sober. Spencer wasn’t one for drinking, and Derek was the designated driver, so they both stayed sober while their friends released themselves of sobriety.

“What’s going on in that big ol’ brain of yours, pretty boy?” Derek looked over to Spencer as he pulled into the doctor’s driveway. “Everything alright up there?” He reached over, booping Spencer’s nose with the tip of his finger, while the youngster just stared ahead.

“Do you... do you believe in the two genders theory?” They asked, not once lifting their eyes off the building wall in front of the car. Morgan dropped his hand, taking Spencer’s into his own.

“Short answer?” He hearted, making the genius look over and shrug. Any answer, he read the expression on their face. “No.” He nodded, looking away for a second before looking back into Spencer’s eyes. “Actually, I’ve uh... been meaning to talk to someone about that...” he scoffed, avoiding his friends gaze once more, not being able to return to it this time, so instead, Morgan looked at where Spencer’s eyes had been previously fixated.

“Yeah, me- me too...” Spencer scoffed, as they poked holes on the side of their friend’s face with their eyes. “Derek I’m...” he trailed off, raising worry on the colleague that sat beside them, making him look back at Spencer again. “I’m non-binary...” they said voice barely audible, only slightly above a whisper. Derek squeezed their hand, giving them a warm smile and a nod. “I uhm... I use they-them, pronouns...” they kept going, a little less tense then before, but still nervous.

They didn’t have to worry, they were aware. But that didn’t stop them. Because what if Derek, though accepting of the possibility of someone not falling into boy/girl gender spectrum, might not be too eager to accept that someone being his friend. They looked over at Morgan to catch the end of what sounded like a happy sigh. They noticed the way Dereks eyes flickered between their own, from one to the other, while a smile broke out on his lips.

“I’m uh...” he hesitated, looking down at his free hand, before looking back up at his best friend’s eyes. “I’m genderfaun!” He watched as Spencer’s face lit up like a christmas tree. “I’d say 'you probably haven’t heard of it' but you’re kind of a genius, so...” he continued with a playfully mocking eye roll and a smirk as they both chuckled lightly. As their laughter died down a little, Derek took that opportunity to finish. “I uhm-“ he swallowed before he continued. “I use he-him and they-them, and though I’m more... mask presenting, occasionally I like to uhm... explore more of my androgynous side...” he kept pausing in between his sentence, trying his best to find the right words.

He looked over to find Spencer biting at the inside of their lip, trying to suppress a smile. The young doctor nodded at Derek as they both smiled. Morgan let out a puff of air he hadn’t realized he was holding, and loosened his grip on Spencer’s hand.

“We ok?” He asked, looking down lightly, trying to hide the slight blush that crept onto his face. “We’re ok, right?” He looked back up, remembering the dimly lit atmosphere hid his redness for him.

“Yeah...” Spencer breathed out, rubbing their thumb over Derek’s knuckles where the agents still held hands. “Yeah we’re all good!” The brightest smile was still shining bright on their face before they changed the conversation slightly. “Do you uhm... do you wanna come upstairs... for a little bit, maybe we could...” -they fiddled with Morgan’s base knuckles before continuing- “...talk... some more?”

Derek smiled at that, looking over at them fondly. “I’d love that, pretty thing!” Spencer looked over at him suddenly, a few butterflies flapping around in their stomach, as they gasped at the nickname change.

Though they’ve both been here in their heads, it wasn’t nearly as welcoming as right now. Feeling accepted and not as alone anymore, they knew they’d always have each other. Even if they weren’t ready for the rest of the world, they knew they’d always find love and acceptance in each other’s arms, and maybe, for now, that would be enough.

In the secret good spn that lives in my head, Sam is played by a woman and is a lesbian. She’s closeted though and introduces Jess to dean as her “roommate” and a lot of the first season is spent with dean and the audience wondering why Sam is so fucked up by her friend’s death and we get like quite a few flashback scenes where Jess and Sam are getting close but not yet super gay and it gets revealed to the audience (maybe not dean yet?? Idk) with the Sarah Blake episode because she’s the first girl Sam allows herself to get close to after Jess. Like maybe Sarah is one of the first people Sam comes out to (would be even more buck wild if MEG was the first person Sam came out to) Anyway when Sam and Dean finally catch up to John and they get into an argument over going after the demon, That’s when Sam comes out to John and Dean. Thinking something like John saying “you don’t know what it’s like to have the love of your life taken from you, killing this demon takes precedent over everything because revenge” and Sam going “no! I do know exactly what it feels like because that’s exactly what I went through with Jess because I loved her! I loved Jess and she’s dead and I can’t get her back but I’m not gonna sacrifice what’s left of the people I love in order to get revenge” like revealing it in this huge burden relieving way bc over the season with dean she’s been able to slowly let go of the closet door, been able to relax about her attraction and relationships with women, but meeting back with John slams the door closed and she’s like Fuck That I’m not gonna let anyone talk to me like my relationships don’t mean anything. It’s important that she’s able to come out to John because I keep imagining that later in season 2 she and dean have a talk which is basically dean saying that he wishes he had been able to stand up to John like she had, to say His truth (this is all while he’s refusing to look at her he just can’t) and just chdhfhfjjd sam and dean gay feelings. Also sam still gets mad pussy there’s no stopping her
