Let the family suddenly hit financial struggle and putting her up for adoption again and Danny jumping into adopting her officially let my man adopt his precious aurora. Let him be a dad mom let him be a parent to the baby damn it! 😭

Give me 20 something year old Danny framing every test making photo albums aurora and crying every single time aurora makes him a gift.

Give me ghost king Danny just being a doting parent to his doctor to which that point the whole magical community knows there's a new ghost king only because he spoils his daughter rotten.

Baby Project

At the beginning of Bruce's senior year, he got to experience what it's like to be a teenage parent. Though not in the traditional way on becoming a parent.

There was an assembly held only for the seniors in the advanced classes. Apparently that year in Gotham more than twice the number of babies were abandoned in the hospital. The orphanage was too full to take care of the orphaned babies. (Reminder to build more orphanages or donate more money to them).

The principal has volunteered his students to take care of the ones that the orphanage couldn't take. Is that even legal? How is leaving teenagers to take care of living breathing humans a good idea?

It wasn't up for discussion this project was 30% of their grades. Bruce would like to have his straight A's in the future but taking care of someone is hard work. There was no right answer to go about doing this. All he could do was hope for the best. After all have no help from anyone other than your partner? Yeah, he is hoping for the best.

His assigned partner was Danny Fenton. He really doesn't interact with his classmates so not much is known about him. But he needs to get his idea about living arrangements across.

Buying an apartment near the school so both of them can take care of the baby evenly. The hard part is convincing Danny and his parents to let Danny stay at the apartment for however long this project would last.

Bruce didn't think this through. Two teenagers and a baby have to take care of cleaning, cooking, shopping, and the baby. How are they going to survive? He looked at the questions they had to answer about the baby. It was basically a profile in hopes the baby would get adopted.

"I can be the primary caretaker of the baby I have some experience." Danny started. They were currently talking about what role they would have. Bruce was really at a disadvantage. Alfred took care of all the things one needs to be independent. He couldn’t clean well he is banned from stepping in the kitchen and he has no experience with babies.

He explained this to Danny.

"I'm sure we'll figure it out for now let's just shop for the baby and buy some basic groceries. The only problem is money." Danny said with a sigh.

"That won't be a problem buy whatever you think we need," Bruce said with a proud smile.

Danny looked at him with a deadpan look, " you know you really shouldn't be proud that the only thing you can offer is money."

Bruce had to admit that hurt.

Bruce wanted to admit that they did figure it out but it was only a matter of time before Danny cracks.

Danny cleans the apartment ( Bruce picks up after himself but still leaves a little mess), cooks for them and takes care of the baby when they are in the apartment. Bruce takes the baby during school and feeds her through the night.

So when he gets sit down by Danny he really thought this is about the lack of effort he is showing.

"Ok, we need to talk about giving the baby a name." Huh. He didn't expect that?

"Do you have any ideas already?" Bruce asked in an unsure tone.

"I'm afraid if I name her it's going to be a star name. But to be specific I like the name Aurora." Danny admit. Bruce like the name.

"I like it. We should name her that. But can I decide her middle name?"

Danny shrugged, "sure be my guest."

Bruce wants the middle name to be his mother's name. But it's not his child should he be giving it to a child that's not his own?

"What about the last name?" Bruce asked.

"I think her last name should be both ours."

"So Aurora Martha Fenton-Wayne?"

Danny thought about it before agreeing.

Bruce smiles.

Danny smiles at his daughter. He knows this was just temporary but he couldn’t help but get attached.

He would adopt her if he could but this project made him realize that it wasn't possible right now. Though he felt like a single parent in this he couldn’t fault Bruce.

Bruce was one of the people who protested this. Danny didn't mind. So he tries to do the majority of the work because Bruce didn't sign up for this. He signed up for it. Sigh. At least money wasn't a problem.

He couldn’t help but buy outfits for Aurora. She just looked so cute in them! She was his special little girl after all!

"What makes her special?"

Danny was caught off guard with this question. Was he really asking that?

"Why do you need a reason?"

Bruce looked caught off guard before explaining that it was an answer they had to respond to. It was not something they could avoid.

"Why does she need a reason to be special? Look how cute she is! It doesn't matter what she grows up to be. She doesn't need to prove to anyone why she deserves to be adopted! After she is already special for being born into this kind of world," said Danny while cuddling with Aurora.

Danny looked up to see Bruce looking conflicted with something.

"Is something wrong?"

"No, it's just that I never thought about it that way."

Danny smiled.

Danny wanted to smile. He knew this day would come but it still hurts. His daughter would go and be someone else's daughter. While he would just go back to being a regular high school student.

He was packing all of the baby's toys, clothes, and diapers. He covered his mouth to try and keep his sobs quiet. He couldn’t help but cry. He sat there in a room he personally decorated just for his little girl. Memory that he holds so dear in his core. He doesn't think he could see her off.

He curled himself up beside the crib that is empty.

He looked around the empty apartment that was once filled with laughter. She was gone. Bruce now had free time that he didn't know what to do with.

He has a relationship with Danny Fenton that revolves around the baby. Now that Aurora was gone was there even a relationship? Danny didn't come to say goodbye to her.

He was angry. He didn't know why but he felt unexpected anger.

The door opened. He turned around to see Danny who looked like shit.

"Why didn't you come and see her off?" He said calmly.

"I don't think I could have held it together. It feels like she was ripped away from me. I can't let her see me like that," Danny mumbles while looking at the floor.

"You're going to regret this you know that? You're going to regret not saying goodbye!" He didn't understand why he was angry. He didn't want to blame Danny but here he was putting him down.

"I don't get you! You never once relax while living here! You're always tense like you're expecting something to come and ruin everything! I see the way you look at me!" Danny was yelling and Bruce let him.

"It's like you're expecting me to fight you on everything! It's like you were just being useless just to see if I disagree with you!" Danny was right he was expecting them to fight. He read that it could help strengthen bonds. If you can overcome it.

Danny looked down before yelling, "Dammit Bruce, why was that the only way you except for us to get along?" Danny was sobbing now.

What does he do? He was never good at comforting people.

"I hope we never see each other again."

Bruce quickly looked up and met Danny's swollen eyes.

"I don't want to remember this. This was just an elaborate dream." Danny looked up while saying this like he was praying for it to be true.

"I'm sorry I pushed you to this." Bruce felt ashamed.

"Goodbye Bruce," said Danny as he walked pass him.

To forget this? He doesn't forget things. This will follow him whether he likes it or not.

That's how he feels.

A family of his own sounds like a dream. He can go to college and lead a party life like all the other students are doing. But he stays in his dorm looking out the windows imagining his daughter. Jazz said that it wasn't healthy the way he was processing his loss. Closure she said was better than believing he abandoned her.

But didn't he? They were strangers. Strangers who went through multiple screenings. Bruce was the one who approved of them.

That hurt.

How could he let her go? It doesn't matter really.

After all none of it was real. It was an illusion.

I really just wanted to get rid of this draft so it's not well looked after.

Realistically speaking Casper high would NOT trust Danny in a survival situation if anything they would make him the sacrifice considering he's a weak twink with bad grades and probably the energy of a sloth while also not even defending himself against Dash being promptly also physically weak

So let's go with this prompt where a rogue kidnaps Danny's class for whatever reason and live streams it and Danny convinces Sam and Tucker to stay with the group instead of joining him while he figures shit as danny.

The instructions Sam and Tucker to lead the group away from danger or defend them or manage to find a way as a leader before he goes into the forest like the others sacrificed him for.

Only for like a week later Danny comes back with a goddamn Kraken that's now a pet. Somehow more buff than he was before and with a confidence that practically screams to be put on a stage with a bunch of crates while swinging by everything.

Danny isn't fully human.

Not much is clear but it's often referred to as ghost half.

Truth be told he was never fully human from the start. That much Talia already knew. When the League of assassins saw what looked like to be a shooting star falling from the sky straight into the league they were all ready to fight a threat only to find but a small infant a newborn crying.

As soon as Talia held the baby it instantly stopped crying looking at her with curiosity giggling while trying to play with her hair.

She didn't know what possessed her to keep the child but she did took him in as her own son.

There were tales and theories about his existence perhaps he was an alien or a creation of the stars himself the way you looked at the stars easily reflected on his eyes sometimes League members would have sworn that they saw the galaxy itself die and be born in his hair and eyes and the morning grew the more those traits went all over his body.

But that wasn't the only thing about him every time he was near someone with Pitt rage the pits themselves would become no matter how bad the pit rage and started showing affection to the boy or thinking with a clear head. That was obviously something that peaked Ras'es interest but he decided to take mercy on the boy in a favor of seeing how things would develop

Danyal what often go to the stars if he was angry sad or needed comfort he went there almost all the time even when he didn't feel anything in particular he often told Talia about how they made him feel safe and at home telling her stories he shouldn't know.

He was 4 years old when Damien was born and had been a year since Danyal started his training he was determined to protect his little brother and mother especially at her weak state. He would tell him the stories about the stars figures among them and the story and meaning behind each one despite it being a baby.

Talia was happy with her sons. But of course all good things come into an end

It all started a one wretched night where Danyal was 8 in a daze walking through the hallway at the same spot he usually goes to except something was off about him League members tried stopping but went around him suddenly found themselves unable to move.

Talia herself tried to follow her son maybe talk some sense into him but she was also unable to move she was on that wrenched rooftop with the stars above them Danyal looking dazed raising his arm in the sky.

"mom their calling me... the stars are calling me out whispering promises and prophecies that I can't understand..."

"Danyal what is this nonsense?! What are you talking about get back this instant! Father will not-"

"mom... they're calling me phantom. I can feel them trying to take me to fulfill some kind of prophecy..."

Daniel turned and looked at her one last time the boy she raised with a bright smile but he used to turn around put his hands in the air laughing and being a light in the darkness was suddenly gone in a state where the stars themselves is trying to take him away. She won't allow it.

"Da-"

"mama they're saying we'll meet again they're saying when I come back I'll be strong enough to protect you! They say I will leave and surpass you and protect you and my little brother this isn't that wonderful!"

He said with a bright smile but suddenly he spit out what looked like to be the galaxy itself with a tint of blue in it.

"mom... I don't feel so good"

And then he started fading into blue stars Talia tried desperately to move even showing weakness crying

"DANYAL! DANYAL! CAN YOU HEAR ME HOLD ON ILL SAVE YOU HOLD ON BABY MOMS IS GOING TO HELP!"

But it was too late the only thing that remained was the same pool of whatever substance her son had spit out and the remaining blue stars on the ground.

Talia couldn't take it anymore and fell to her knees crying for her son. No there was no way he could be dead if whatever he was saying was true then he was somewhere else he had to be! She would find her son there's no way he's dead!

It is rumored among the assassins that you keeps her son's remains in her safest location but not even Ras could find.

I don't see enough fanfictions or posts the dedicate their time into showing more of Danny's Sam's and Tucker's friendship it's a missed opportunity because it's not Danny who doesn't work alone sure he doesn't majority of it he's a strength and sometimes occasionally the brains to the inventions but Sam and Tucker are also there helping him through every step of the way. There's not much appreciation for them or they don't involve them as much for jazz I can forgive not involving her much but for Sam and tucker? Yeah they were the ones who experienced the trauma with Danny they were by his side literally. Not to mention they're around Danny enough who's a ghost or at least half of one that they should be more contaminated than usual thus considered also nonsentient. And we also don't see much of them outside of Danny which come on Tucker is literally the reincarnation of Pharaoh! There's so much people can do with those characters but don't.

And it's made pretty clear that if one of them goes down the other will go down with them even against the wishes of the person they're one group and honestly their friendship might as well be deeper than anything else in their lives. Heck I would even say it's deeper than Danny's and jazz's relationship

So here's my take on the situation for Danny running away :)

Sam Tucker and Danny are running for their lives. Sam is getting forced by her parents to meet different men some of which are even 18 she's 15 and no matter how many times she told them that she was uncomfortable they wouldn't listen. Ida died no longer there to defend Sam. Danny's parents found out that he was phantom and there was only so much Jazz could do to hold them back. Ellie destabilized at the hands of the giw and they were only able to save one small piece of her core. Tucker accidentally found out that he was Kryptonian and destroyed half his house while his parents tried to chase after them but they couldn't keep up.

They prepared to go bag for Danny and surprisingly Sam and Tucker also had to go bags. They are at a gas station near the edges of Illinois contemplating their next move.

Tucker: okay here are our options we can go to Gotham as we originally planned and blend in keep a low profile and leave as soon as we can but at the risk of the giw coming after us and batman and his brood finding out about us siding with them as well as they come contaminated ectoplasm.

Then we have Kansas which is a peaceful area where people can keep secrets but the act of signature will be a lot more easier to find us there not to mention the house in which we planned on staying in is originally Dannys grandparents house and our bets on the area was to hope that they wouldn't think we're stupid enough to be so close while running away.

Then we have metropolis but superman can also unintentionally listen in to our conversation and turn us in to the giw.

The infinite realms which should be good for Danny and Ellie's core but his human side not too much and since we're with him right now and we're living we couldn't stay that long there not to mention our ecto-signature would get a lot stronger than normal.

And our last option which we will probably WILL take is to leave the US or leave the consonant entirely as far as I can find only America has the anti-ecto acts so we should be safe somewhere outside of there but staying close to the country would be a risk plus going out of the continent no one will know us and will be a lot easier to avoid the Fentons.

Sam: I say we go out of the continent it'll be a lot more safer for us to go there plus with a fact that we know so many languages due to clockwork sending us on time missions it shouldn't be that hard talking to the locals .

Danny: I disagree we should go to Gotham or at least out of the country staying away from the portal might get other ghosts captured and we need informants of telling us what's going on in Amity park just in case things get out of hand.

Sam: I agree but going out of the continent might be our only option right now we won't stay there forever but I'm pretty sure clockwork can give us a device for whatever we need if we do want to be informed. Danny I know it pains you're not being able to protect Amity but right now we need to protect ourselves.

Tucker: plus we can get outside sources to help with the problem surely there has to be other heroes from around the world that can help us

Danny sighs knowing they're right but still can't help but hate it. He still blame himself for the whole mess and the portal accident if he hadn't wanted to show off to Sam that day perhaps then they wouldn't have the ghost problem and the first place perhaps he could continue calling his parents crazy but still love them as they love him but it's too late to think about the what ifs right now. She needs to protect the only people beside him right now

Danny: all right what's the plan. Do we sneak on a plane or steal a boat.

Sam: how about we take the road from Canada and go to Greenland by sneaking on a boat and from there we can go to England by making Danny make a boat while making us invisible!

Danny and Tucker: ... There's no way that would work right?

ew my ex is my sibling now

so here's an idea that I have in my head for quite a while because I absolutely get sad whenever is Sam and Tucker don't get involved in the fanfictions much as well as jazz or Ellie they're mostly used for plot convenience or to help Danny out but never to be their own characters.

So screw that give me dying world of Danny phantom planet and he and team phantom are desperately trying to save it Sam is mostly doing all the work of trying to revival kinds of plans only for it to fail because apparently this world has reached its time. They all hold each other and confess all the secrets to their parents since this is going to be the last time they're all going to be alive and maybe they can turn into ghost except clockwork has other plans

Clockwork Scoops up Danny , Sam , Tucker , Jazz , Ellie and Valerie from that world and drops them off in the DC universe exactly in the watchtower meeting room telling them that John Constantine owes him a favor as they sit there confused and obviously shaken because they're not going to die but their parents are! Obviously no teenager would be sane

So everyone in the watchtower is obviously panicked and as soon as they hear Constantines name they tried calling him only for Constantine to run into the watchtower look at the mess look at the note that's in his pocket and sigh bowing down.

"welcome high king of the infinite realms , princesses of the infinite realms , nature's treasure and voice , Pharaoh's reincarnation it is a pleasure to finally meet you though it is regretful that we meet in such circumstances"

Everyone is shocked at how respectful Constantine is because usually he takes a drink and wings it this is probably the most put together they've seen him.

Valerie is looking at her team with a face that shows absolute confusion a side eyes what are you hiding this time. The others look just as confused as her and they look at each other not sure what they should say. Constantine catches this and it takes a deep breath as if trying to calm himself down

"ah I figured. Are you all unaware of your statuses in the infinite realms? That shouldn't be a problem to explain though your ghost guardian has instructed me to give you to one of my colleagues for guardianship for adoption"

The others are even more alarmed at that because if some of them are supposed to take guardianship of these kids?! What do they do half of them are their jobs right now or fighting day crime.

Constantine gave them a look and guided the kids to a private area to explain whatever the heck he's going to explain. They should probably call the other League members...

That night a meeting has been set for all League members with the kids at the side of the room sitting really close to each other with Constantine looking at them worriedly. He sighed and took a small sip of alcohol as he began to explain

"alright mates here's the deal these kids are strong as fuck and important to the infinite realms basically the glue that holds all dimensions together. Their world has died and their ghost guardian who is telling itself instructed me to give guardianship to one of you or adoption rights although right now..."

He looked at the kids huddled up together at a corner as if waiting for a shoe to drop. Constantine side for what felt like the a millionth time that day

"for now let's stick to guardianship so which one of you idiots want to take the kids"

"you cannot drop a bombshell just like that you know"

"Constantine we need more explanations who are these kids and what they are and-"

"the infinite realms?! John who are these kids-"

Question after question has been dropped and John Constantine had enough

"ENOUGH I WON'T SAY ANYTHING UNLESS THESE KIDS ALLOW ME AS FOR A MEDICAL CARE I MADE A GOOD OLD REPORT LIKE BATSY ALWAYS WANTS SO SHUT YOUR MOUTHS IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO TAKES WHICH KID POINT IS YOU'RE GOING TO REACH THE SAME CONCLUSION!"

The argument continued

The kids looked at Constantine and then at the rest of the heroes. They looked at each other as if understanding a type of Morse code. Some heroes came close gently trying to question them or open up as it's clear that these kids aren't okay.

After much back and forth it finally landed on the topic that they needed to discuss the custody to which it was then decided.

The bat: Sam and Danny

Superman: Tucker

Wonder woman: Ellie

The flash: Jazz

Green arrow: Valerie

John Constantine: all of them because apparently they prefer him already

After the verdict was decided Danny immediately went to wonder woman explaining to her even threatening her to take care of Ellie well with the eyes of a father.

Sam was eyeing the bat suspiciously watching his every move

Ellie went over to Jazz to have what looked like a silent conversation I'm Danny occasionally like a silent agreement.

Tucker was eyeing everything around them particularly the tech equipment and Valerie was watching everyone

....

Here is what I imagine the interactions at each home will be like although I mostly imagining for Sam and Danny:

Danny: okay definitely a fruitloop emotionally constipated and everyone is emotionally unstable here including the butler.

Sam: did you mention sanity? Because slowly but surely I'm pretty sure it's leaving from this goddamn household honestly Tucker sent me some files that he apparently got from hacking into the back computer and some of these reports are horrifying. Danny they tried to kill each other! Some guy Tim was beaten near death by the older brother and the younger brother was trying to assassinate him even though he stopped he still hates the guy's guts!

Danny: ...did one of them try cloning....

Sam looks at her phone and sighs in disappointment nodding

Danny: ... Sam we're screwed our priority is to survive now either that or we go fight crime as civilians

Bruce: where are you 2 going?

Danny and Sam with an open portal unapologeticly: to kidnap Tucker and have movie night when the rest arrive. It's a ritual that we all have before the actual sleepover happens

Bruce "I have gremlin children I'm tired" Wayne: sure I'll go inform alfred. Do you want snacks?

Sam: man it's so awkward having you as my brother now... You were my ex it's weird at... Even though I miss my parents I'm starting to like what we build here maybe not the family but I think we're creating our own little family with team phantom...

Danny: I get what you mean... parents aren't always the greatest but sometimes it doesn't stop you from loving them despite them doing awful things... but damn we should really change our team's name or make phantom our surnames

Dead serious arranged a marriage except it was Damien who accidentally made it

Okay so we all know the dead serious arranged in marriage trope right? It's usually orchestrated by Ras or Talia but how much more hilarious would it be if it was made Damien when he was 8? So here's my take

Damien didn't know what to do with the artifact that his grandfather gave to him. It was supposed to be an old treasure of the king of ghosts that Got retrieved during an assassination mission by mother but apparently the artifact has lost its value and grandfather decided to give it to Damien as a reward.

Damian stared at the dove shaped pocket watch. Once upon a time it had the power to make people see it's fated heroes at least that's what grandfather said. It was made with silver that still shines and the moonstone that could pierce in one's heart with bliss.

Normally he would discard the item since it lost its value but it was his first award that he got from grandfather personally. There was something odd about the thing. Though grandfather claims it has all but lost its value and power it's still shines brighter despite the millennia of years that has been hidden in a abandoned place he couldn't help but tinker with it.

He opened the watch and the seeing as the time was broken he decided to fix it although after he fixed the time there appeared a blinding white light Damian immediately took a fighting stance preparing for an enemy attack only for a being with a purple cloak red eyes and pale blue skin to meet his eyes.

He introduced himself as clockwork and explained the artifact that he held was not the one that was supposed to be held of power or made it faded heroes but rather make a bond with someone to make them his soulmate. The artifact would choose someone of compatibility with its chosen wielder and show them the person until they can find them.

Looking at the artifact now it does look bridal styled and it made sense clockwork instructed him since he already activated the artifact he would need a pool of "ectoplasm" to see their supposed lover.

The being called clockwork explained that the pitt waters were corrupted ectoplasm and advised not going in them.

And Damian followed that advice. He acted humble every time his grandfather tried dip him in the pool as a reward to heal his wounds from his mission. He said that he shouldn't act like that after every big success and that there's still much to be done to celebrate only asking to bask in the pit's presence and view it.

From there he would see his lover at first he believed he was weak and unworthy questioning if clockwork had lied.

It wasn't until he went to Gotham with his father that he learned over the pits under Gotham and after turning 12 decided to sneak in there to see his lover once again. This time with a new mindset.

And this time he was slowly falling for the boy called Danny. He was at the Pitts when he witnessed his lover die and come back as a different being he was there to witness his rise and falls his kindness and willingness to protect others. His loyalty and compassion for everyone even those who have wronged him. The empathy and wish of understanding for others. The tiredness of dealing with vigilantism on his own. The way he enjoyed bantering.

The way he fell for his flaws and wished to be there for him every time Danny was thinking more about his death after not having enough time to process it crying but ignoring it. The way he became the ghost king after fighting tooth and nail to protect his town only to be hunted down by the people he saved by the people he should have trusted. The way he would ignore his own personal feelings for the sake of others. The way he was protective to a fault. How he wanted to reach for the stars and be an astronaut but couldn't. The way he was forced into a position he didn't want.

Damian's heart ached for him in many ways they both had stories that were similar yet opposite in many ways how Damian was promised a position of power because of his birthright meanwhile Danny earned his position but it was unwanted. But his heart ache worse every time his beloved got into a relationship because his beloved didn't know he knew something was wrong and he thought he was a problem maybe he wasn't made for love but he could feel that he was missing. Even though in the end he would always break up with the person it still ached and reminded Damien that Danny didn't know who he was or what role he played in his life.

So he would help him and give his love from afar. Taking down the anti-ecto acts summoning and interacting with ghosts as well as city spirits getting evidence and fighting that law on his own without the help of his family.

He was doing this for his beloved and he would do it on his own because he wants to prove to his lover even if they don't know it yet he can protect them. Even if they don't know he exists.

Meanwhile the bat family are concerned on why the heck Damien looks at the pitt waters under Gotham with such loving eyes they're considering of getting a psychiatrist.

Danny is a bartender in Gotham for whatever reason. Maybe as a part-time job or as a cover for a mission.

Point is Danny enjoys his job. He enjoys learning to mix drinks and to making them. Secretly telling the customers secrets about the menu or how they make drinks. Sometimes occasionally bantering with someone and making friends in general. However what he hates is idiots trying to spike someone's drink or taking advantage of them while drunk. Luckily he managed to stop them before they could do anything and got them arrested. It pays off to be the apprentice of time. He has a lot of regulars that come on his shift in particular even ask about him.

What he doesn't know is that half the people are in love with him or at least attracted or have a crush on him. And the people he bantered with? Oh that quickly dissolved into flirting and Danny being the most smooth person on the planet without realizing it.

It all started one nightwing particularly came to his bar one night. Danny didn't care but then nightwing said something about criminals wearing chipmunk hats on their heads and it all dissolved from there. By the end of it Danny heard a thud turned around to see nightwing on the floor all red. Danny immediately went to his side and even offered to try and get the big bat himself to take him home.

Then came the red hood then red robin then a black bat and eventually everyone even the big bat came there and somehow ended up either choking , looking sick or straight up having what looks to be like a scenario where they are questioning all their decisions.

Meanwhile it's painful obvious to the others that they are flustered and nod along. Someone patted he bats shoulder and whispered "hes oblivious"

Damien is looking at his family with disappointment

Danny after becoming the ghost king unknowingly has icy blue light crystal eyes in his ghost form instead of green and is absolutely confused.

Jack and Maddie are looking at the portal in disbelief because it changed colors

Meanwhile every other ghost in the infinite realms are looking around: why are there realms BLUE???

Clockwork is just silently grateful that it's just blue because dang it there's a reason why he didn't leave his tower even when he could. The green was an eyesore to his eyes.

Bruce and Danny knew each other since they were young but absolutely hated one another for one reason or another. it started when a beef between the Wayne and Fentons were arguing over engineering at a late night dinner that the waynes overheard about the Fentons plans to make the portal.

From there it became an argument about if it would work or not. Thomas and Maddie were close to physically attacking each other due to how frustrating was and Martha and Jack needed to get them off each other

Bruce watching this made a snide comment about Jack to which Danny got personally offended at and now they are also arguing while jazz is trying to become the peacemaker between everyone.

The night ends up with Thomas having a bruised eye and Jack apologizing over and over to Martha meanwhile she's trying to reassure him that everything is fine with a proud mother cat Maddie showing her children her knuckles about how to punch right.

Bruce is even more pissed that his father got injured and surprise surprise him and Danny were going to the same school so from there everything became a competition from grades to social circles to friends to achievements who eats the fastest who eats the fastest properly who is more proper all the works at some point Bruce even entered a competition that Danny was entering for engineering and they both ended up disqualified because of the fact that they fought so often and the school didn't want to participate in that.

At some point every time Danny or Bruce wanted motivation they went to each other to start an argument to feel their determination with spite. They argued for a good hour and then went back to what they were doing and proceeded to work like they never had before.

That's until the murder of Bruce's parents happened and Danny's parents moved away.

At first they didn't think about each other a lot until Bruce wanted someone to argue with someone and vent his anger one night until he realized Danny wasn't there and just sat there confused. Daniel on the other hand? Just gave up completely he was trying to desperately find someone who could actually compete with him and he was doing pretty well until the portal accident and he needed spite too to actually make it through his classes and get good marks

Eventually they stopped thinking about each other decades go by and they don't see each other for a long time that's until the justice League needs to summon the ghost king but then it was on the brunch with his friends and they ended up getting dragged with them so Danny being in the justice League immediately clocks batman as Bruce and starts yelling at him for interrupting his brunch and Bruce knowing that tone of voice immediately starts arguing back and they go at it for like a good 30 minutes when everyone is trying to call each other down and Sam and Tucker are also confused and are trying to calm down Danny until he actually complete the task that the justice League wanted him for in record time.

From then on both of them started doing the same song and dance argue and get that spite as a power source.

Everyone doesn't know what to do about that. The bat kids saw Bruce like this for the first time and question if they need to interfere for the very clear anger but Cass is also confused because they spite each other on purpose and everyone gets a conspiracy theory board making up theories about who the heck Danny is and how does he know Bruce.

Eventually other heroes join in putting in their own theories and what may have happened meanwhile Alfred is at the side just nodding along watching the argument happen with a hint of nostalgia.

Eventually Danny meets Thomas and Martha in the infinite realms and somehow they actually like him after him needing some help on a particular political case.

From there on he proceeds to have tea with Martha and Thomas every Tuesday and Jack and maddie? As soon as they see Bruce they also clock him as batman and decide to make the idiot more open to his children and his emotions because damn it it's depressing to watch.

And then there's a double rivalry between them Danny and Bruce with their parents and the Waynes and Fentons with their children.

Eventually Danny and Bruce decide to go on missions together to prove points to one another and it's sort of becomes an argument slowly to flirting arguments. Like if you're in a mission with them you question if you're intruding on something by the way they slowly start to care for each other without them realizing it and let's say Bruce gets heavily injured one day and Danny is just there grilling him while also trying to hold back tears about what an idiot Bruce is and to be more careful.

Danny thinks the tears are frustration about Bruce's idiocy.

They're not.

And then the subtle flirting becomes more and more present it's very hard to ignore because every waking moment they argue the tension between them is unbearable.

Everyone hates them for this meanwhile jazz decided to have tea with Alfred watching this whole thing and they just nod along as if they expected it meanwhile Danny and Bruce have more tension between them with each passing day to the point where even rogues intentionally stop by to see the drama.

Jazz and Alfred are just waiting for the obvious conclusion to the tension.

Meanwhile the parents are fighting about who's bond is better with each other's kid.

I like to think that Danny has the audacity of Princess kitty and he only likes John. He WILL hiss and scratch you if you dare touch him.

But I also like the scenario where Danny is whining and meowing loudly and John walks in expecting to see some kind of chaos only to see Danny in the corner with two baby kittens absolutely exhausted. I need Constantine to question the gender of his cat because last time he checked he was pretty sure the fella was a male

Or maybe he does this in the watchtower because John is that they are a lot and Danny decided to follow him only for John to hear one the heros to squeal after they went to check on John's cat.

Either way Danny would only let John touch his babies. John? He feels like a father who just became a grandfather. He's definitely not crying. Not at all. It's only your imagination. Superman is definitely not patting his shoulder. The bat is definitely not looking at the situation sympathetically. John is definitely not crying with the pride of a grandfather. The others are definitely not making fun of him in the background while also staring at the cuteness of the kittens

Danny likes hanging around John Constantine as a cat. Why? At first, because it would've been pretty funny but now, he's realized he's actually.... Kind of grown to enjoy it, oddly enough?

All he really does is lay himself on the man and Constantine just, has like, zero problem??? He wanted to mess with the guy for his reaction, so he did multiple things to test limits but Constantine still let him stay around?? He made threats of exorcising him but like, Danny came to realize they were just empty threats???

Harley Quinn watches from her window as a teenager with a glowing raccoon on one shoulder, a tiny scraggly kitten on the other, and a half dozen glowing green rats trailing behind him, just walks past her apartment.

Also known as Danny sees Gotham and decides to be batman and fix things up himself.

Danny (16-21) moved to Gotham for whatever reason whether it's college school , giw , running away doesn't matter.

Danny by that point he is done with everything in his life and has long since matured since he was 14 unfortunate. As it is he knows how to fight someone and predict their next course of action or plans better than he knows how to breathe. He's been in the action scene for too long not to know considering that he also beat one of the most powerful beings in existence and became one himself. Handled everything that came his way best he could even things he wasn't certain enough.

How to say he has standards for heroes. high ones at that.

Superman? Too much building damage. Could have injured a civilian without ever knowing or being the cause of their death. Despite being a reporter his senses aren't sharp enough to be able to tell something is a miss. Emotional and he's basically an open book easy for his enemies to read and also sometimes leading him to erotic or idiotic decisions. On a more positive note he's more empathetic and can often comfort and make people feel safe giving them a sense of security and feeling lighter. It's also the emotional hope that makes him kind and a hope for things to get better even if just by a little bit

The flash? Oh he has a lot of things to talk about him. Unbeknownst to his knowledge the flash often messes up more timelines than he fixes them. It's often clockworks or any of his or his team jobs to clean the mess up. Normally that wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that they're so fast they make the mistake and make another one as soon as the other one is made. Sometimes they even use it for the most stupid reasons it's more of a headache than anything. Just a thought of him destroying the timeline from doing anything expecting not to have consequences is a major flaw in his judgment. But like superman he's good with people.

Then there's batman. Vigilante who thinks with logic and morals yet those morals can be turned against him when given a choice. A man who's supposed to be intelligent when it comes to solving cases yet despite all his knowledge he doesn't seem to grow emotional intelligence despite the fact that he thinks the truth should come out or be known as a detective he claims keeping secrets is dangerous yet refuses to speak on how he feels often leading to emotional imbalance or more unnecessary conflict. Someone who's vigilante live has completely taken over him on how to live his civilian one. Like two sides of the same coin while it is rewarding sometimes and come in handy the cost is the conflict between him and his family.

Danny is not blind he can see that Bruce Wayne is batman and he can see the tension in the family being held by a thread of not saying anything of not wanting to confront something while also arguing about who did what wrong while not taking accountability for what they did. Even though nightwing often argues with the bat he often keeps in bottles a lot of things inside for the sake of his siblings

He will admit batman one of the most intelligent people he knows and often knows something is wrong by one glance thankfully one of his children red robin also got that. Intelligent knowing when something is wrong investigating it finding the truth. Danny would argue that he's one of the reasons the JL hasn't crumbled from making wrong calls or bad decisions investigating more to get a more proficient answer. And as controversial as it is he also approves of the contingencies as long as he put some for himself as well. Danny first hand experienced something he never thought he would do when he fought Dan and saw how wide the possibilities are and how much he's capable of.

But hearing and seeing clips and actually seeing them in front of yourself are two different things. Seeing everything in front of him was an experience in itself it didn't feel real and the more he watched the more he became frustrated.

So he made a choice.

With the permission of lady Gotham and speaking to other ghosts who were violently cheering him on quite literally decided to steal Batman's mantle and become more terrifying than him. But emotionally stable.

So began the tales of the new batman except people called him shadow batman instead.

Ironically enough people called him shadow batman because he was quite literally like a ghost or a shadow and jumping out.

Danny wasn't even using his ghost powers. He was in his human form batman is human and so is Danny halfway. He guesses he's just really good at stealth but he's pretty sure he almost gave black bat a heart attack. But the ghosts guiding him to crime scenes and helping crime solving is really helpful.

The bats are losing their minds.

And that's an understatement.

Ever since the "new" batman otherwise known as Shadow batman appeared the bats were spiraling not because he was doing anything bad but because they didn't know what the heck was happening. Most of the crime scenes he was seen in he handled them with Grace and efficiency of a mercenary with too much experience. He never let them finish their sentences. He sometimes indulged the Riddler in his antics and rarely spoke as if his actions spoke louder than words.

All the Gotham rogues are pretty done with the guy as long as Shadow batman is around they don't even get a chance to ambush a place because for some reason he always knows and even when they do ambush a place they get knocked out as quickly as they enter.

The Joker once tried to get his attention. And failed miserably. The guy just looked at him knocked him out paralyzed his body then looked straight into Batman's eyes after he arrived. Pointed at the Joker and put a thumbs up and left.

He left a note. "I didn't kill him but I did find a way to permanently stop him from doing crime"

He left as fast as he came.

But when there's a child or someone clearly traumatized or even someone who for some reason Shadow batman can tell when someone's afraid or what they feel he always stays behind talks to them and calms them down then walks them home that's one of the few times he ever speaks.

To comfort.

Eventually slowly but surely people came to trust him and love him. Because he stopped knew when something was wrong went to the person and listened to them without judgment and hug them and they gave them advice with reasoning maybe taking them on tour of Gotham through the rooftops while at it. Told them that the only ones who can change their future is themselves never once denied that it wouldn't be hard. He only told them the truth and what they could do if they want to change.

Kids were comforted. Listened to. And Shadow helped them. Any kid who came his way Shadow slowly but surely became someone of safety for them.

When villains have breakdowns Shadow is there. He helps everyone as long as he sees good in them.

He helped Mr freeze , Scarecrow , Riddler , poison ivy and others and so on even though he didn't help them with the illegal things he helped them in others

The people of Gotham often said that despite the name being Shadow he was more of a light than anything.

But it's during one of those moments after Shadow comforted someone where the bats tried to interrogate him multiple times only for him to say cryptid things like

"Where the clock unwinds so do the ties that keep secrets shut" - all of them

"To where the ghosts scream I go" - all of them

"Despite the fact that whales are underwater creatures they also need air" - Robin

"The mind can affect the body. So can the body affect the mind. Nurture both" - all of them

"Detach yourself from your body look at your memories as if they were someone else's and see the past and current and make conclusions through the eyes of someone else and ask yourself what kind of advice you would give the person" - red robin

"A blade and it's origins can define how it functions but it doesn't mean the material can't make something new. Despite its original purpose it can be reused and used for whatever it wishes to. Even silver can be soft" - black bat

"A reflection is a reflection what you see can sometimes be deceiving even when it comes to yourself. You hide the broken mirror to make it look flawless and strong while the more it breaks you ignore it in favor of others. The mirror also needs attention" - nightwing (the mirror and it's reflection it's based on nightwing often neglecting himself or choosing to ignore his problems or not fixing them in favor to appear strong for his siblings and let them open up to him despite him himself breaking inside)

Vigilantes every time they confronted him he would say things like that. Eventually they realized it's Shadow telling them things with deeper meaning. Shadow could read them like a book and tried to help them by making them see the truth.

And the more they listened to what he told them the more they felt like they were ready to cry. It should be alarming yes but at the same time he saw them their own soul and core looking at them for who they truly are and their woes and tried to help by giving advice through cryptid messages or trying to show them the truth.

Danny moved to Gotham with his sister after their parents disowned Danny but decided to help him financially so he went to Gotham with his sister who was attending Gotham university.

He got into Gotham academy with a scholarship and after looking around the place decided not to be the same loser boy he was in Amity park. He wanted to be the chill dude that students would just nod at and continue with their day.

He decided to become friends with the Gotham academy nerds and losers and teach them many things. Such as to curse people in the most creative way possible. One example being Danny teaching them to insult someone by calling them ketchup pickle or something else to get them confused.

Eventually they stopped using curse words entirely deciding to express frustration through graphic descriptions of weird things. Danny was proud of himself for that

He talked to his classmates and he actually got along with them! The rogue attacks weren't as bad either. When scarecrow attacked he just simply snuck behind him and knocked him out with a bat he found.

Really he didn't understand how these guys were a threat.

On a more positive note he and Jazz sometimes went shopping on weekends and he started getting a glow up through the tips he learned online. Yeah life was chill the ghost attacks are being handled by Sam and Tucker well he's getting his life together and started getting good grades again!

Gotham academy was not prepared for the absolute wrecking ball that was Daniel Jackson Nightingale.

That is what the students of Gotham academy would say.

Daniel at first glance seemed like an ordinary boy who barely got into Gotham academy. Everyone expected him to run away at the end of the week except he didn't.

The first week he didn't even care he just walked around talked to everyone became friends with a nerds and was acing his classes. It's a second week that got interesting. All of a sudden the nerds who got bullied started standing up for themselves and insult people in unique ways.

One of the top students after getting scolded by the teacher again for not trying hard enough snapped and called her a caterpillar who would never know the sky as a radiant butterfly.

They started standing up for themselves and admittedly... Destroying the staff with their own rules and knowledge to the point of starting a rebellion when the teachers tried to retaliate. When the school board asked where they learned that from they just pointed at Danny who was sipping from his juice box while talking to some classmates.

Then a rogue attack happened. While everyone was screaming and running for their lives Daniel just took one look at the rogue snuck up on him and knocked him out and continued with his day like nothing happened.

He started making jokes about nothing beating Amity park to which students were progressively getting more concerned after even more rogue attacks one of them being led by the Joker only for them to be dismantled by Daniel.

At one point two rogues cried hugging Daniel as they poured out their life story. What does Daniel do? Fix their problems. Mr freezes wife gets cured. The Riddler has a TV show with people participating to solve riddles or escape rooms. No one knows how he did it.

He even started correcting teachers and even going out of school for a week to get proof that hes correct. Danny found a skeleton belonging to the empress of an empire that doesn't exist anymore. He even started talking about god's liking knew them personally. At this point it became a game to see how many things Daniel would uncover to prove his point.

Daniel dragged DAMIEN WAYNE to the cafeteria got him food shoved him some vegetarian milkshake got back to class patted his head and said don't be cranky anymore. He literally scruffed Damien and he went limp as he got him to sit with his friends. He looks like hes questioning his existence which to be fair they don't blame him for that.

But there's a few things for certain they are never going to the place called Amity park and Daniel is a deity reborn. Their own urban legend.

To answer your question I'm from timeline where there's an explosion at nasty burger taking the lives of my friends and family and after that I went to Vlad fused with him went insane sought out revenge and destroy the world including you and the justice League and any other group I sort of lost count by the amount of secret groups going on.

Interviewer: wha-

Dan: Okay so anyway so after that I decided to go back in time to make sure my counterpart is exactly like me only for a said counterpart to beat me into Oblivion because apparently in my youth I had a will that could have clockwork on a chokehold. Made sure he would never become like me. they sent me to rehab to get over my anger issues PTSD and to get over the deaths of my family and friends and here I am. Somehow becoming a big brother to my counterpart.

Interviewer: wait there's something I dont understand what do you look old? Interviewer: so Mr Vlad and Mr phantom there's something in Amity park that I have noticed. Every time someone wants to make you 2 do something they always say something about a R A person?

During one of our fights after him saving the planet from the meteor we were having our usual song and dance of fighting each other with him calling me a creep for wanting to be with his mother and murder his father. During the time we were fighting we went through a natural portal to the past in a desert.

Danny: allow me to continue and for your information Vlad I'm good at explaining things! I just don't think they're a big deal sometimes though who shall not be named is absolutely a big deal! So anyways when we got to the desert and realized that we were lost we started looking around when we saw this one guy who looked like he hadn't eaten in days fighting off a hoard of what looked like to be bandits

Vlad: deciding to take a pity on him decided to team up and help him and heal him a bit from his wounds using octoplasm from then we proceeded to feed him clothe him and giving him and helping in every way we could going out of our way to do so and as Daniel's and mine mistake indulge inventor with the man.

Danny: when we had to leave the man was crying begging us not to leave. it wasn't until Vlad took a photo of us with the guy and gave it to him that he finally left us alone.

Vlad: at the time we didn't think much of it the most we thought about was that we surprisingly worked well together for this one man and helped him. Little did we know he would find us thousands of years later.

Danny: which normally wouldn't be a problem but apparently after we left he swore to marry us and spent years of researching ectoplasm using it to keep himself young or as I like to call it as young as one can be with ectoplasm except he was using corrupted ectoplasm.

Vlad: he formed his own cult of assassins and became its leader spreading lies about how the league was originally started. Apparently after he saw us on the news he decided to come personally and propose to us on the spot.

Danny: to which it's a massive ick for me! I'm 14 barely going to 15! And the man was proposing a threesome with a teenager and two old men? Absolutely disgusting

Vlad: naturally I was also offended on Daniel's behalf and disgusted with the thought of that. Interviewer: so through what I heard Mr phantom defeated the previous ghost king the tyrant pariah dark in a fight! Making Mr phantom the new king of the infinite realms! So Mr phantom how do you feel about being the ruler of the glue of reality?

Danny: it's been stressful. I enjoy my lessons the teachers in the infinite realms are really good and push me at my limit and exceed it but the amount of paperwork that's been left to me is a nightmare.

to be honest it wouldn't make sense Danny to get such a loyal followers by just sleeping I want him to wake up at some point and help the world when needed help the heroes and generally be there for them and never asking for anything in return

Giving orphans a place to sleep and eat , taking care of children when parents cant , comforting and giving advice to everyone cevilians heros and evryone alike , helping rouges reform and so on

Best part for everyone? He doesnt even realize what his doing is beyond kindness. To him helping them is as easy as breathing and being a basic good person.

Thats why he gets so many loyal followers. Not bc hes all powerfull and want to use him or some kind of hope for him to bring good and guide them.

No he hesitantly asked them for help or advise. Like "how do I get over my death?" "How do I cook without burning the kitchen!" "Whats tge best way to show the my loved ones that I love them unconditionally"

They follow him bc his him. Kind , caring and remembers everything they tell them without a second thought and is still learning himself.

They know his a teen and will only age when hes awake. They care for their little godling

Danny was completely tired, his Ghost King duties, his schoolwork, and avoiding the GIW and his parents have completely exhausted him. He just wants to sleep, but he can't. Things need to be done,and he's the only one who can get them done. Jazz, Sam, and Tucker are looking forward to their futures, and he doesn't want to drag them into his problems more than he already has.

Clockwork, seeing the timeline unfold down a path that will cause the young Halfa to break down and fade away, steps in and proposes an idea that will surely help the young Halfa King with no strings attached (other than Danny gaining others that care for him, no matter what).

Clockwork will send Danny to a new dimension to sleep for as long as he wants whenever he wants. He will also return to his dimension at the time Danny tells Clockwork to bring him back.

Danny had been moved to the dimension Clockwork chose. The room he finds himself in is decorated with elegant yet simple looking decor, but he's not looking at the decor. He immediately flopped onto the bed (which was so very soft and comfortable) and immediately fell asleep, not knowing that he's in an underground chamber Clockwork made for him somewhere that isn't near any big settlements.

Cue someone of the Hero community in the DC world stumbling across Danny as he sleeps during one of his stays in their world just to sleep.

Some research was done on who the sleeping boy is by the Justice League, and then learning that the boy is a deity of all the deities (Clockwork implanting snippets of Danny's life, as Ghost King, across the many time periods of the DC world so he isn't too badly received by the inhabitants), which causes them to freak out a bit, as they learned that if he is woken up before he has gotten his rest, he will cause trouble (Again, Clockwork's doing, but the Time Ghost being a bit of a troll, as the most damage Danny would do is causing the area around his underground chamber to be in a permanent winter storm until he is fully rested, Clockwork even gave Danny some Titles that Danny will gain through the beliefs of the masses in the DC world, Benevolent King of the Dead, Intelligent Craftsman, Bringer of the Ice Age, Origin of Lazarus).

Of course, the Justice League couldn't keep the existence of Danny a secret, and now people have begun to leave offerings to the slumbering God. When Danny eventually wakes up from his slumber, he is surprised to see that there are many things left for him, mainly food, but he's not complaining. After eating most of the food left for him and sending the other stuff that isn't food to his Keep, he is sent back to his home dimension and goes about his life. The people of the DC world await his return, as Clockwork even left behind an explanation on why Danny won't be there at all times. "When the slumbering King awakes, he shall return to his duties of protecting his subjects and return to his chambers to slumber again when he accomplishes his goals"

And then a bad reveal happens. Danny is badly injured and is heading to the one place he knows that he will be safe. The dimension that Clockwork picked out for him to sleep in.

I now have the mental image of Danny in a Justice League meeting hanging off Clark's arm biting him while purring and being a happy Aldrich creature that can be small.

I'm just imagining Clark continuing as normal as this little creature climbs him like a jungle gym at some point he believes the creature bit his hair it has now decided its his nest

Eldritch Danny in the Kent barn, anyone?

Reduced to his most primal form after being torn apart by the GIW or his parents or some cataclysmic event, he's hiding out in the first place he finds that feels safe.

The Kents don't notice him at first, then maybe they start thinking there's a feral cat or something hiding out and taking shelter, so they start leaving out a little extra food/water because they're soft hearted people.

Then they start catching glimpses. And... that's not a cat.

Why do they always end up with the lost aliens?

Do they do the sensible thing and call Clark? Hell no. They raised a Kryptonian, they can handle this weird feral little shadow creature, no problem!

Anyway, they gradually befriend and adopt the little guy hiding out in their barn. They rarely catch glimpses of it, but they think it's hurt. They think it's getting better.

At some point Clark visits and discovers the weird little creature and tries to fight it (because this demonic little entity is sneaking around his parents' property and he can only assume it has evil intentions). He's not trying to hurt it per se, just capture it and make sure it's not going to cause any harm to the people he loves. It attacked him first (when he cornered it in the barn and accidentally got in its personal space in a threatening manner).

He catches it and his parents finally get a look at their new pet? child? something else?

And it's definitely hurt. It's trembling and dirty and they're about 85% sure that the oddly glowing green and red and brown is its blood and is not supposed to be on its outsides.

They take it into the house and bathe it and do what they can to wrap its injuries and they offer it food and water.

They quickly learn that what they thought was it hissing and growling at them was, at least in part, a language. It sounded strange and was almost painful to listen to, and it was definitely causing the out of place emotions they kept feeling. They weren't entirely sure if it was making them afraid as a defense mechanism or if its own fear was just so palpable that it was being projected onto everything and everyone that approached it.

Anyway I just like the idea of the Kents taking Danny in like a stray cat when he's too hurt and disoriented to look or act human, and Clark shaming his parents for not at least calling him when mysterious probably-alien lifeforms appear in their barn. Yes, he knows he was also a mysterious alien lifeform that appeared on their property, that doesn't mean every time this happens it's going to be something safe or something without evil intentions. Please just call me so I can check, Ma.
