I’ve been re-bingeing the first three seasons of Shameless, and it hit me how the Gallagher family dynamics totally sync up with my headcanon for the batkids:
Dick is Fiona; battling EDS (eldest daughter syndrome), shouldering a quasi-parental role amid questionable paternal guidance. He’s responsible, resilient, and selfless, but has his own personal struggles (sometimes stemming from his own family… loves them to death tho)
Jason is Lip; the intellectually gifted but rebellious second eldest. Wrestling with demons, while trying to understand his place within the family. Acts a bit aloof to siblings but would stand ten toes down for them.
Tim is lan; fiercely loyal, a bit of a disaster bi, and mentally ill ((am i projecting…)).
Finally, Damian is Carl; 1/2 feral, 1/4 troublemaker, 1/4 smart🍑. Little to no respect for authority (except family(sometimes)), special interests are weapons, mischief, and instilling fear into those around him. Also Dick is his favorite.
bruce’s parents died when he was eight, and from then on he was raised by alfred, correct? and alfred had been taking care of bruce since he was four
what i’m getting at here is: bruce would absolutely have a slight british accent that he unconsciously picked up from alfred
i mean like aside from classmates and teachers, alfred is who bruce spent the most time with
i just think we should acknowledge bruce would have a slight british accent is all. like it seriously doesn’t change anything but i want it to be talked about. please
of course bruce can do a bunch of different voices and accents, but this is when he’s just speaking normally (mostly among the batfam)
he also definitely uses the british word for things (lift instead of elevator, rubbish instead of trash, etc.)
no one would really question it because he’s rich and fancy, and it’s a sort of posh accent
but i want the batkids to joke about it (not when alfred is around tho)
I was rewatching ATWOW… again. I realized something, you can literally see the moment Neteyam dies. His pupils dilate, his body goes lax, and you can see him taking his last breath.
It’s this level of detail that makes the scene hit even harder.
When Neteyam was dying, his last words were "Dad I-" and most people thought he was going to say "Dad, I love you." But I have a different idea. Neteyam always wanted to be the perfect son and carry on his father's legacy as a brave and mighty warrior. But as he was dying he knew he would never achieve that. So, I believe he was going to say “Dad, I’m sorry,” trying to apologize to Jake because he felt like he let him down and didn’t live up to his expectations.
Thomas and Martha Wayne were THE 90s couple. I'm talking Bowie and Iman, Sandra and Matthew, Winona and Johnny all wrapped in one. They were just ✨✨that b!tch✨✨... everybody wanted a piece of the Waynes.
I find it funny that for two weeks people were complaining about Avatar’s simple plot, but now that Babylon is out they need whole dissertations to explain the plot to them…
OK so I was re-watching FATWS and something that keeps on bothering me is the in episode four, where they’re talking about how to find Karli after Donya’s passing and Sam mentions his Titi (Auntie). He speaks about her like she was a pillar in the community (them having a big ceremony because of her passing), but never mentions her again and then later in THE NEXT EPISODE they talk about how impactful his parents were in the community in order to get help to fix the boat. What bothers me is that the show mentiones his Titi once and never speaks about her again when instead, they could’ve use Sam’s parents as the example and given them more depth to the idea that they where a key part of the community and their loss was felt; and so when their children ask for help, it makes sense the whole community, would chip in
Is what I’m saying make makes sense or do I sound crazy?
I need a Captain Fantastic inspired Supernatural fanfic (destiel ofc)
Soon after Sam and Eileen get together, they retire from hunting, leaving Dean and Castiel to carry on the family business. After some time, Dean and Cas have a kid (could be Jack or could be oc (acquisition or bio (to each their own))) that they raise while traveling around the country. After a hunt went wrong, Cas was killed, leaving Dean with their kid. Not knowing how to cope Dean is in a downward spiral, taking hunt after hunt with little care for his safety. After taking a hunt near Sam, Sam sees how far Dean has fallen and begs Dean to quit and give his kid a normal life before kills himself or the kid. Dean does listen to Sam until a hunt goes sideways and a monster goes after his kid. Dean comes to his senses and quits hunting, moving to a quiet suburb in Kansas.
When Clark proposed to Bruce, he presented Bruce with a honeycomb wedding band with a bee etched onto the inside. When Bruce asked Clark what made him choose that honeycomb pattern/ bee Clark just smiled and said, “Because you’re my B.”
