I have been having a blast with Rivals since I picked it up last month, I main Peni and it inspired me to finally give her comics a read the other day, and they are great! (Even if sadly there aren't that many, still.) But, it also reminded me of the discourse surrounding her and more specifically how she's been characterized outside her original comics. People have loads of opinions on the subject, and understandably so, but I decided to break down my thoughts on the subject with this helpful diagram! (Also FEMC is there because she is the best example I can think of for the synthesis, plus she's cool too!)

Class 1A Tier List but it's based on who they'd main on Marvel Rivals! (+ Headcanons)

#1: Captain America is a Patriotic, All-American Moral Paragon who defends others with his shield, so it's no surprise Izuku would not only main him but also be REALLY good at it. #2: Bakugou mains Punisher because:

Need I say more? #3: Todoroki's favorite hero in Rivals is actually Luna Snow, and he always has to fight with Mina for who gets to pick her for a match, unfortunately for Todoroki, 9/10 Mina instalocks Luna Snow and he is forced to play as Torch instead.

#4: Tenya wanted to main Cap, but stopped once he realized Izuku mained him, and since he respects Izuku so much, he decided to switch to Mister Fantastic since he also looks like a respectable, traditional hero. (He is bad as him, unfortunately.)

#5: Jiro stopped playing the game for a week after the Spider Punk skin was revealed because she was pissed at punk and it's aesthetics being commercialized yet again, Denki & Momo convinced her to get back in the game eventually.

#6: Tokoyami & Dark Shadow both always want to play as Cloak, eventually they agreed that each of them would get 5 minutes to play as Cloak whilst the other would get to play as Dagger, unless an emergency comes up. #7: Sero was the worst at the game by far when 1A first started playing it together since he'd only ever play as Spider-Man but he didn't realize how difficult Spider-Man was to play at first so he'd always get bodied and be the butt of the jokes, but he not only got the hang of playing as Spidey after a while, but he'd reach Lord rank with him, becoming the best player amongst 1A right alongside Izuku.

#8: Aoyama doesn't know how to play as Loki, he just saw how fabulous he looked and decided he'd be his main for all of eternity, much to the others chagrin.

#9: Bakugou almost blew up his PC one time after Tooru kept trolling him with Jeff's ultimate, not even 50+ death threats were enough for her to stop.

#10: Mineta flip-flops between mains on a dime, usually depending on who has the most revealing skin out at the time, needless to say he doesn't get invited to play nearly as often as the others.

Easter Update Babyeeee! (A.K.A Where The Heck Have I Been?)

Easter has always been the most underrated holiday and I figured I should share some love for it here, most definetly NOT because it's close to my birthday which makes it more pleasant for me, no sir. All that out of the way, some people may be curious for what I've been up to for the past couple of weeks, and why I haven't published any updates for DED just yet. Simply put, I very recently bought myself a new computer! Something I've been meaning to do for ages at this point, you have no idea how many games and other things I ended up missing out on because if my previous computer tried to run them it would end up like this:

Now with my new computer, I can not only play AAAALLLLL thee games I've missed out on over the last few years, but also be more productive since, unlike the previous computer, this one didn't come defective and the keyboard works as is should! Yes, I did write all of DED up until this point with a broken computer that messed up my keyboard. Yes, it was hell! :D But. That's all in the past now, and I hope to be more active in here now that I have my new PC all set up and I can bring back your regularly scheduled chaos.

As for DED? I aim to finally start writing the next couple of chapters soon, so hold out for the time being, classes will be back in session very soon! For now, Tchau!

Meet The Stand:

A humanoid stand taking a feminine form and donning a glistening crystallized armor, Diamonds & Pearls, true to it's name, has the ability to produce a variety of exotic, rare gems and stones from it's body, being particularly proficient at creating and manipulating diamonds, not only being able to generate them from within it's body and creating massive pillars made of diamonds as an example, but also crystallizing anything it touches.

The gems produced by this stand, though beautiful, are also practically indestructible, the only things capable of even damaging it are physically powerful stands on the level of Star Platinum, and even they are only capable of partially damaging it, not enough to destroy it.

Diamonds & Pearls ability is incredibly dangerous, it's user also having almost mastered the stand and it's abilities, but they are also not immune to it's effects, anyone and anything caught within it's range is susceptible to being trapped and encased in a crystallized prison they have almost no chance of breaking free from, something it's user must always take into account whenever they activate this ability.

Meet The Stand Master:

A wealthy, eccentric Italian billionaire, Cristallo is the founder and CEO of Romanzo, one of the biggest jewelry and bijouterie brands in the whole world.

Cristallo founded his business at the young age of 20, after having mysteriously come into the possession of various precious and sought after gemstones, enough to practically turn him into a millionaire overnight, and a billionaire not too long after he opened up shop.

Cristallo lives a flamboyant, luxurious lifestyle, he only drives the fastest cars, he only eats at the fanciest restaurants, he only travels to the most exotic places... And he only dates the most beautiful women.

Ah yes, Cristallo, more so than a CEO, a billionaire and a connoisseur of rare gems, is a lover of all beautiful things, cars, nature, and on top of all others, women.

Cristallo has had many romantic flings in the past, and although they are usually one night stands - which are more often than not greatly satisfying to both parties - he has also had many full time lovers and wives in the past, having been married to models, actresses, and so on.

... Yet, these relationships never tend to last, as his partners have had a history of amicably breaking up with him on the best cases, or running away with as much of his fortune as they can on the worst cases, as said by himself across many different interviews and public appearances.

These women are often said to run off on their own to another country, far away from both Cristallo and law enforcement, where they can never be found ever again and they can use the money they stole for whatever their egotistical hearts desire...

Incidentally, Cristallo is also known, for his vast possession of statues and sculptures crafted from the gems from his own practically infinite vault, all of them resembling beautiful, slender feminine figures, Cristallo often states they are his most valued possessions and he considers this collection to be the 8th wonder of the world.

He loves these statues so much, in fact, that he often shaves little pieces of them and makes rings, chains and other pieces of jewelry for him to wear, he often stares longingly at them, if one didn't know any better, they could almost assume Cristallo is thinking of something else as he looks at them...

Jojo's Bizarre Adventures Fan Stands #3! - Twenty One Pilots

Stand Name: 「 Twenty One Pilots 」

Stand Master: Vasylyna Vinya

Power: B

Speed: C

Stand Type:  Long-Distance - Colony - Artificial Non-Humanoid

Namesake: Twenty One Pilots - American Alternative Hip-Hop Duo

Meet The Stand:

Manifesting itself as both an RC Remote and a fleet of 21 RC attack helicopters piloted by small toy soldiers, Twenty One Pilots is a long-range, colony type stand commanded by Vas, Vas commands and leads the heavily armed choppers into battle with her remote.

The Twenty One Pilots fleet is divided into two different subgroups, Gunners and Bombers, and with the extra soldiers mounting the chopper’s machine guns, Twenty One Pilots has around 4 soldiers composing each unit, amounting to 84 in total.

Gunners are armed to the teeth with deadly machine guns that possess great range, though their bullets are tiny, they are still very fast and can do lots of piercing damage.

Bombers carry small bombs hidden inside their compartments that Vas can deploy during combat to blow her enemy away or create distance when necessary, the explosions are small, but still dangerous.

Bombers are also equipped with two miniature rockets, don’t let their small size for you, the explosions they create on impact are devastating and easily the most destructive weapons in Twenty One Pilots’ arsenal.

Albeit an undeniably dangerous stand, Twenty One Pilots also has certain limitations that extend beyond it's users' own physical limitations, as the helicopters that compose the fleet are the definition of glass cannons, they can cause great damage, but can't sustain significant battle damage either without running into the risk of being shot down and being put out of commission for the rest of the battle in the process.

Vas also needs a clear visual on her target, Twenty One Pilots cannot and will not engage unless they have a clear shot.

Meet The Stand Master:

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Vasylyna is the youngest child of the Vinya family, her father being a decorated pilot of the Ukrainian air force and her mother being a Russian nurse.

Growing up, vas was taught to be proud of her heritage and culture, wishing to follow in the footsteps of her father and older sister, Raisa, the latter of whom had already become an accomplished pilot for the air force herself, Vas was determined to bring honor to her family and her country…

That was, until shortly after her 10th birthday, when suddenly, she felt herself getting weaker and weaker, doing basic things such as walking suddenly became much more taxing for the young girl and she’d always get exhausted, her legs feeling weaker and weaker with each passing day, until an incident in her home where her legs suddenly gave out and she found herself falling down the flight of stairs of her home and seriously injuring herself in the process.

Whilst she was in the hospital, vas was diagnosed with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD) a type of muscular dystrophy that had rapidly weakened her muscles to a point where just walking was an exhausting, painful task for the girl, and unfortunately for the Vinya’s, there no known cure for Vasylyna’s condition, she found herself stuck on a wheelchair to move around, and while her parents were horrified at her condition and the implications this would have on vas’ future, vas was mad, mad at herself for being weak, for now being physically incapable of protecting her country like she had dreamed of, for now she wouldn’t be seen as an equal to her father and her sister… but as a burden.

And unfortunately for Vas, Raisa, the older sister she loved oh so much, ended up being stationed in the boarders of their home country, in order to fight an ongoing border conflict that was tearing up their nation.

Raisa didn't even have time to bid either her sister or parents farewell, before she was dragged off into the war, leaving Vas feeling truly alone in the process.

Vas grew more and more resentful of her situation as time went on, this wasn’t fair, none of this was fair, all her dreams had been taken away from her in an instant, suddenly people didn’t look at her as the brave, strong young girl who would grow up to defend her country and her people, but rather as a weak little girl who couldn’t do anything by herself and needed to be constantly coddled and looked after, they only looked at the wheelchair, not the girl sitting in it.

That was until Vasylyna discovered she wasn’t as weak or defenseless as she was starting to believe herself to be, she came to discover she had a truly bizzare ability, she didn't know the origins of this mysterious power, if they were a gift from god or a malevolent spirit possessing her...

But that was alright with her - for now - she wouldn't be piloting an aircraft.

Instead, she would be commanding an entire fleet.

Fun Fact: Vas was designed for a Jojo's Bizzare Adventure RP I signed up for last year, which you might notice why she has so much more lore behind her compared to some of the previous characters I shared in here, unfortunately the RP itself didn't pan out, but I still really like Vas and I wanna get a chance to user her in a future RP one day.

DOG EAT DOG: Contos de Caipirinha #1: Group Chatting!

It had been about a week since classes in The Fronteira Foundation started for Kira and the lucky few who were scouted to be part of their class.

Kira was still getting accustomed to this new routine of hers, though there were some people in her class she did come to like a little bit - or at the very least tolerate - like Amaral, Bernadão, Tóxi there were also just as many people in her class who got to her nerves, such as Ursula and Conrado, two people she already knew she wanted to put on their place eventually, but held herself back so at to NOT get herself expelled on the first month of class.

But right now? She was merely appreciating this small moment of peace she had for herself, it was a saturday afternoon and she was out jogging around town.

Her loss during the class' first exercise was still fresh on her mind, for as much as she hated to admit it, Ursula won their match fair and square... But Kira wasn't gonna take that lying down.

No, she realized she had been slacking off as of late, she needed to adjust and intensify her own training routine, she wouldn't be able to coast through school anymore by relying on the natural strength afforded to her by her S-Trait, she needed to train, get stronger, and be ready for anything this school threw at her.

This was something Tempus had drilled into their heads during their classes, he wanted everyone to take their training seriously, and anyone he felt was slacking off or neglecting their own training was gonna find themselves in a lot of trouble with him - this proved itself as a good incentive for most of the students in the class, still somewhat intimidated by the man's presence, but truthfully, Kira would've come to this conclusion regardless of Tempus' lecture.

Kira, in her own mind, imagined Ursula standing above her after the end of their match, looking down at her, her own gaze exuding killing intent and making sure she knew who the apex predator was, making sure she knew that she was nothing, and would become nothing more than prey for Ursula and others like her to feast on...

That image alone was enough to make Kira, without realizing, speed up and take off on a full blown sprint across the bumpy sidewalk.

She couldn't-

No.

She WOULDN'T let that image become reality.

¨52... 53... 54...¨

By now, Kira had stopped by a small park located near the bus stop she'd often take to get to school, but instead of hydrating or sitting down on one of the benches to get some rest? She decided to change things up and do some sit-ups, that image of Ursula looking down at her had lit a fire inside her, she was determined to make the most of this time she had for herself, she wanted to train until her body couldn't handle it anymore, anything to stay on top!

It was strange, in a way, she didn't think much of the heroics course and had no real motivation to start taking her training seriously, even with Tempus' thinly veiled threats to the class, it wasn't until after the dodgeball match that this motivation came over her and now here she was, doing something she hadn't felt the need to do in years.

She just had to wonder, what was it about that game and Ursula that--

Kira's train of thought was cut short once she felt her cellphone buzzing in her pocket.

Part of her wanted to brush it off - thinking it was just a text message she received from annoying cellphone companies trying to sell her ¨funny¨ ringtones - and get back to doing sit-ups, she was aiming for 300 right now, and she didn't want any distractions.

... Then she felt her phone buzz again.

And again.

And again.

And again.

By the fifth time this happened, she gave up on the sit-ups, got up and was ready to shut her phone off to get some piece of mind... That was until she checked her notifications and realized what they were... And who had sent them.

Kira had questions.

Loads of questions.

But most pressing of all and the one she'd first ask the slime girl via a text of her own?

Kira: how the hell did you get my number??

Unfortunately for the blonde, after 3 minutes had passed, Kira came to the conclusion she wouldn't get a straight answer from Amoeba anytime soon.

She guessed that, chances are? She'd be too busy chatting with the others on the newly-created group chat to notice her messages, 

Kira was ready to brush it off and simply get back to training, HeyYo! group chats were common, all the classes she was a part of in middle school had them, the students who didn't make them in secret would always tell the teachers they were study groups made so all the students could keep in touch with one another for group projects or homework... When in reality it was just an excuse for them to post memes, prank each other and just in general get up to a bunch of shenanigans unsupervised.

Kira knew exactly what those groups were, she always made an effort to stay clear from them unless it was absolutely necessary for her to join, she didn't the time nor the patience to deal with online group chats, she had no reason to click on Amoeba's link and accept the invite, she could simply ignore it and get back to what mattered most, her training.

...

So why the hell did she decide to click on the link and join the group in the end?

Having finally gotten her answers, Kira closed her cellphone, deciding to leave them to it.

This group was about what she had expected, but if nothing else? Amoeba had a lot more control over this group than she had lead on at first.

The chat was chaotic, no surprises there, but it was also nowhere near as chaotic as the ones from her previous schools, it was something Kira could describe as ¨controlled chaos¨ if she were to give a name to it.

Rafinha's... methods for getting her phone number didn't gel with Kira one bit, but, in the end, he was only doing Amoeba a favor, and from the time the two had been forced to spend together? Amoeba didn't have a single hating bone in her body... Assuming she had a skeleton, that is.

Albeit, Kira WAS curious about how, even using his S-Trait? Rafinha had gotten his hands on the phones of people like Charlotte, whom outright refused to let anyone in their class touch any of her stuff, or Ursula, the latter of whom Kira believed didn't have a phone to begin with, or atleast had never seen her using one of them.

Kira pondered this for a minute... Until she realized almost half an hour had passed since she had sat down in the park to read these text messages.

She was supposed to have used that time to complete her sit ups, finish her drink and wait for the bus back that woulld take her back to santa maria's.

... Instead, she had gotten so distracted with the messages that she had for sure missed the bus and now had to walk all the way back to the shelter, even though she was exhausted.

...

Meet The Stand:

A truly bizarre stand that manifests itself as two sentient entities, a big, dumb three-eyed brute named Albuquerque and a sly, intelligent but very temperamental caterpillar named Germs, the duo are intrinsically linked together in a way that neither can separate from the other, for as much as Germs wishes it could thanks to Albuquerque's lack of intelligence often getting the two into painful, absurd situations.

What both fail to realize, however, is that this is their power and the stand's main ability, as they are capable of bending the laws of reality, very often bringing misfortune to themselves and anyone near their vicinity.

Be it accidents occurring during heavy traffic resulting in the two being run over by a speeding car, a steel beam inside a construction site falling on top of them and crushing the two, getting electrocuted by a bolt of lightning from the sky, and so and so forth.

No matter how often or how severe the damage, though, they always walk it off and carry on as if nothing happened, continuously annoying each other via their antics until the process repeats itself yet again.

Their nigh-invulnerability, however, is not afforded to those unlucky enough to be trapped in the radius of the stand, and, more often than not, these comedic accents prove fatal to them.

Though a powerful ability, it has many caveats that hold the ability back and prevent it from being more dangerous than it already is.

Albuquerque & Germs's sentience is often more of a detriment than it a benefit, as the two get so caught up in their routine that they cannot focus on a given encounter and often find themselves falling victims of their own ability, if one is able to evade their misfortune, they have a good window of time to flee from the encounter or further harm Albuquerque & Germ, leaving them incapacitated for a time.

Meet The Stand Master:

Goof Polka was once an ordinary man, an unassuming office worker, married with two children who lived a very normal life.

That all changed - however - after their family took a vacation to Italy, and Goof had his chess pierced by a strange arrow that had seemingly come out of nowhere

After spending a week in the hospital and recovering from his injury, Goof believed the worst had come to pass and that he and his family would get to enjoy the rest of their vacation in Italy in peace... That was until he was visited in his hospital room by two peculiar, cartoonish-looking characters that were constantly bickering and acting out a slapstick routine.

Goof believed this was simply a hallucination born from his medication and near-death experience, so he ignored them for a while, assuming they would disappear after a day or two.

... Three weeks later, his oldest son was electrocuted by his gaming console, his youngest son was ran over by a car, and his wife almost had half of her face burned off by a gas leak in their home.

Three months later, his wife had filled for a divorce and a restraining order against Goof, noticing that all these bad things only happened whenever he was around and wanting to stay as far away from her husband as possible, taking their children with her.

Six months later, Goof suffered a mental breakdown at work, yelling at Albuquerque & Germ to shut up and begging them to disappear from his life and leave him be... Which from the outside looked more like he was yelling at imaginary people inside his head.

He now spends most of his days locked inside his own tiny apartment, writing insane scribbles on his diary all day and tricking Albuquerque & Germ to go off on their own in town and cause as much havoc and destruction as possible, all so they can leave him alone and give him momentary peace from his hell...

I made a couple of Stand eyecatches for funsies a while back and I figured I should share some of them here because Jojo Stands are awesome and I love seeing what people do with the concept.

Stand Name: 「 Electric Friends 」 Stand Master: Trenton T. Bolt Power: A Speed: A Range: C Durability: D Precision: B Potential: A Stand Type: Close-Range - Artificial Humanoid

Namesake: Are 'Friends' Electric? by Tubeway Army/Gary Numan Meet The Stand:

A stand powered by 100,000 volts of electricity, Electric Friends has the ability to shoot powerful lightning bolts from both of it's hands, with Trenton also being capable of adjusting the voltage to make the bolts more powerful or less so, at full power, however, the stand is highly lethal and lightning fast to boot!

Water, however, is the stand's greatest enemy, even a drop of water has the potential to make the stand short circuit and have Trenton lose control of his ability, in a best case scenario it will simply fire lightning bolts blindly without a clear target, and at worst it has the potential to overcharge and explode, killing Trenton and anyone nearby in the process. Meet The Stand Master:

A hot-blooded american college student, Trenton has always been an extroverted, hyperactive, bothering on undiagnosed ADHD, type since he was 5, so when he started seeing what he believed to be an imaginary friend who looked like a superhero that could shoot lightning from his fingertips? He assumed he just had a very active imagination, and his imagination was awesome! ... That stopped being the case when he almost electrocuted himself to death in his bathtub whilst playing with his imaginary friend, and he realized this imaginary friend was not-so-imaginary after all.

This didn't deter him from calling upon this mysterious guardian angel, however, instead, he'd often his ability on day-to-day life whenever it was convenient to him, be it charging up his phone, computer, car or just giving himself that little jolt of electricity to keep himself awake whenever he pulled an all night for a test.

Trenton has just about never used or felt the need to call his own stand to battle, in fact he'd probably be scared shitless if that ever happened to him, if only he knew just how powerful his ability was...
