aerith and sephiroth + "can i hug you?" because them bein siblings makes me cry
"Can I hug you?" Her small voice rose up in the stillness, tiny hands that reached to clutch his arm, tugging insistently at the fabric.
He blinked at her, sullen, dourly puzzled as he tilted his head, his luminous green eyes narrowing with distrust, the frown sliding against his features as he balked, questioned. "Why?"
"You seem sad," she murmured, rocking on clumsy, unwieldy child's feet, barely coming up to his waist, her small arms outstretched in open, plaintive offering. "It'll help you feel better. Mama says it helps."
"Why would it hel--"
He didn't finish, feeling the tiny stretch of warm, fragile skin around his torso, her small face burrowing into his chest as she nestled near him, her cheeks pink, her eyes wide, pleading. All for him. Only ever for him. He didn't understand it. And he equally didn't understand when he felt his own limbs trembling, the gradual slide of his body as he crouched down to meet her, timid arms that linked around her tiny body, locked in words and feelings he could never truly decipher. And never would.

how about raffl/kahun + brötchen? :D
this is set right after the plastiktüte debacle btw, like, same day-ish or a day or two later. also doing this in the other perspective now because why not xD also idk if i have to put a disclaimer for that but the dialogue is just in german now. because ultimately it's about the german/austrian dialect barriers xD
They had sunday off, so Michael made sure to keep their fridge stocked for a good breakfast beforehand. He'd also made sure to get some baked goods because even though nothing beat the smell of freshly baked bread. He set out two snack boards for them and got some cutlery as well. Dominik was still asleep, and probably would continue to stay in the bedroom until Michael eventually managed to drag him out of bed, but that was just fine with him. That way he had the time to make some coffee for both of them and set out some spreads, fresh vegetables and fruit, as well as his pretty bread basket he only ever used when he had company. He turned back to the kitchen counter to wipe them down quickly, just for him to almost get a heart attack when his boyfriend just started speaking from right behind him.
"Morgen. Wenn ich gewusst hätte, dass du Frühstück machst, wär ich vielleicht früher aufgestanden."
Michael just laughed slightly, not believing it for a second.
"Setz dich einfach hin."
They both went to sit at Michael's dining room table, Dominik making appreciative noises about the breakfast spread out in front of them.
It was still pretty early, so Michael consciously put an effort into speaking as dialect free as possible because Dominik didn't want to decipher carinthian dialect at 8am and Michael himself didn't want to repeat his sentences three times either. But sometimes, it just slipped out.
"Kannst du mir bitte ein Semmerl geben?", he asked, pointing to the bread basket on Dominik's side of the table.
His boyfriend just looked at him with a slightly distraught expression.
"Was bitte? Das ist ein Brötchen. Warum habt ihr so viele unglaublich komische Wörter? Erst Sackerl, dann Semmerl? Und warum klingen die so gleich?", he whined, handing him the bread basket nonetheless.
Michael laughed, grabbing the offending item so Dominik could put the basket down again.
"Keine Ahnung. Aber wenn du dich darüber so aufregst, sollte ich dir lieber nicht sagen wie grüne Bohnen bei uns heißen."

piarles + gloss (💄🤭)
oh, phoebe, you are a legend for this. absolutely impeccable taste, as always 😏😘 this one is dedicated to this anon, with my compliments.
Charles feels Pierre's eyes on him the moment he walks into the drivers’ briefing: warm and fond at first, the way Pierre's eyes always find him, but quickly darkening to something smouldering and dangerous once they inevitably drop to his lips.
He smiles around the room, warm and friendly and as innocent as he can, and of course it's a complete accident that he happens to lick his lips just as Pierre makes a little involuntary movement in his direction.
Pierre's eyes narrow, and then he's crossing the room in what feels like less than a second, grabbing Charles by the arm and pulling him back through the door he just came from and into the blessedly empty storeroom beside it.
"What do you think you're doing?" Pierre asks, and his voice is dangerously soft as he closes the door behind them, his eyes laser-focused on Charles lips - specifically, the dark-red gloss to them.
"I'm just trying something new," Charles says, and grins again, tipping his head teasingly to the side as he adds, innocently, "What, don't you like it?"
(send me a ship + a one word prompt and i will write a 5 sentence fic about it)

Encantober - Change
Bruno has always been terrified of change, a fact only worsened by a gift that forced the inevitability of change into his young mind long before he had the faculties to carry the burden of its implications.
Sometimes, in those moments when the pressing threat of constant change smashes him down beneath the immovable certainty of the future, Bruno likes to close his eyes and remember—an echo of gentle, comforting words spoken in a rare moment of vulnerability, of reassurance and understanding, of being seen.
"Mi amor," his mamá murmurs to him, setting aside the distressing emerald glass so she can cup his face in both of her calloused hands. "You are afraid, but you must be brave. No matter what comes to us, no matter what choices you must make, you must always remember this: Todo lo hizo hermoso en su tiempo."
Her eyes are as soft as her voice, and she smells of rosewater, soap, and home. She smiles, and all his fears melt away; he smiles, remembering.
Translation below the cut :)
Todo lo hizo hermoso en su tiempo - He has made everything beautiful in it's time.
This is Ecclesiastes 3:11, and my absolute favorite verse. I like to nod to Bruno's catholic character roots from time to time, and I'd like to think this verse would bring some hope and peace to the one who has the burden of time all spread out before him.
There is a time for everything under the sun, a time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant and a time to reap, a time to tear down and a time to build up, a time to laugh and a time to cry...but everything will be made beautiful in it's time. 💚

<flash fiction>
my voice is like a tool, a key, a scalpel carefully crafting incisions on the page or in the air, lifting words from the viscera -- searching in the entrails of language for cadence and rhythm and music, as if searching for prophetic notions, the building blocks of communication that let me say it right.
--
my voice is a honk. (HONK!) ebbed away with the infection taking over my throat and leaving just this relic. squeaky hoarse whisper. HONK. now it goes again, and the air rushes through as though in a tunnel, finding nothing to break against.

"Fine, no orgasms and no sex for a week." He told me.
"Does that include masturbating?" I asked him with an innocent smile.
"Yes,Y/n." He snapped back.
Now how did we get here?
Well...
The break down of it being I was being a brat, which then led to him on top of me pinning me down before that sentence left his mouth.
Easy challenge,he will give up so easily, he loves it as much as I do and he won't last 3 days.
Tumblr media
Day 1;
We still cuddled up to each other last night but other than that nothing,I gave him 2 days more and he will for sure break.
Day 2;
I barely saw him at all today,he had something to do with Johnnie but I thought when he got home he would have broken that pact, turns out I was wrong.
I'm sticking with my initial impression with 24hours left though.I'm struggling and he seems to be just fine.
It’s killing me to see how easy he thinks this is when I’m beyond tempted to pull a vibrator out of my drawer.
Day 3;
This is killing me,I thought he would have given up, but he hasn't,he hasn't even mentioned it and it's driving me insane.
I can't give up though,l bragged about it to him all day after his said that saying that I would last so much more than him.
Im as stubborn as he is and he knows it.
Day 4;
I'm fucked,he keeps grabbing my thighs and I'm melting,he knows it.
I didn't think he'd last this long, sometimes I can hear him in the kitchen talking to Colby about the challenge and how easy it is.
Day 5;
2 days left and I think Jake will break,he was talking to Colby earlier about how hard it was for him, metaphorically and physically.
Turn of events from yesterday then,I thought to myself with a smile.
He got hard last night,I felt him pressing into me I hoped he was giving up,but nope.
Day 6;
I give up.
He pressed his back into me,his hard on pressing into my ass.
He grabbed something from the cupboard above me in the kitchen and then moved away from me trying to palm himself from the painful boner he wasn't trying particularly hard to hide.
Maybe I won't have to give up?
Maybe he will.
I can only hope.
"Mh how about you fuck me? I know you have a hard on."I told him teasingly.
"You know I can't." He told me continuing to cook.
"Well how about you give up the challenge? You don't want blue balls." I told him with a sly grin forming.
"Fuck off Y/n." He told me angrily.
I smiled and walked away to the sofa reading a book that Kat had gave me for Christmas.
During the Pandemic, christmas wasn't a great time for everyone, very scary at the least.
I heard the oven being switched off but I didn't dare to turn around,so I kept my head buried in my book.
"Stop fucking reading that book and give up the challenge." Jake said into my ear from behind me clearly wanting to fuck.
"Mh,I don't think I will." I told him with a smile slapped across my face before returning to my book.
"You want this as bad as me,I know you do Y/n,I heard you talking to Kat." He told me.
Now I can't lie I did talk to Kat about how I was struggling but I didn't realise Jake was listening behind us.
"And I heard you talking to Colbs, not to mention how you've pressed 2 hard ons into my back side just begging for my attention." I smiled back at him dragging out the 'begging' and turning around to look at him leaving my book on the coffee table.
I hummed at his response of gritted teeth and a clenched jaw.
God he looks beautiful.
I snapped out of it before kissing his Addams apple.
"Hm I'll give up if I can top?" I hummed looking at him. "No,Y/n,Just give up now." He snapped getting extremely sexually frustrated.
I hummed at his response as if saying no and then walked off to the bedroom.
He followed behind me and sat on the bed before I could. “I give up,sit on my face.” He said.
And I smiled turning around, more of a nervous smile to be honest. “What?” I asked unsure if I heard him correctly.
“You heard me,strip and sit.” He told me and I smiled, turning around as I took off my leggings and panties, walking over to the bed where he lied.
I sat on top of the prominent imprint on his trousers, moving my hips around as I smiled at him teasingly.
“Do you give up the challenge?” I asked him, grinding and grinning on top of him. “Yes,for fucks sake, stop being a brat.” He said and with that he lifted my body above him and sat me down on his face.
I lifted myself off slightly not wanting to suffocate him “Sit,don’t hover.” He told me,his voice sending shivers down my spine as the vibrations hit my pussy.
I sat down as he immediately started to lap at my clit. I moaned out of pleasure,my pent up sexual tension leaving my body as I relaxed.
He slipped his tongue in and out of my hole,my body feeling as if I was in heaven.
I relaxed further as he pumped his tongue in and out,his hands holding up my hips as I let him take full control.
“Jake please!” I all but screamed as I felt the knot in my stomach tighten, knowing I wouldn’t be able to stop it from snapping soon enough.
“Cum for me love.” He told me as I came on his face, riding through my high on his tongue.
“Jake please, too much.” I whimpered out as he continued his movements. He flipped me over, his head resting between my thighs as he continued.
I grabbed a hold of his hair, pulling him further into me and simultaneously pushing him away.
I came undone on his tongue again, riding through my high on his face as he let me down gently.
He kissed my thighs as I whined out,the subspace staying engraved into my mind.
He walked into the bathroom to grab a wet cloth to wash his face and clean up my thighs.
He tried his best to gently clean me up,apologising whenever he hit an especially sensitive area.
He laid down next to me,pulling me into his chest and taking his hands through my hair.
“You lost.” I laughed weakly at him as I smiled up at his looking into his eyes.
“Yeah but I’ve won the most beautiful girlfriend in the world.” He told me as he held my head close to him, pulling the covers up with his other hand.
“Go to sleep princess, you deserve it.” He said with a smile,I knew I would make it up to him in the morning I thought as I drifted off.

HOW TO START IMPLEMENTING CHANGE + STAY MOTIVATED
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HAVE A REASON. It is going to be hard to start inputting change in your life if you do not even have a reason why. That reason also has to come from within, not from any other externalities (friends, school, work, family). This reason has to make you strive to be better.
If you’re unsure about your reason, write down times when you feel your happiest and when you feel your lowest, then notice any common themes.
BUILD DISCIPLINE. Discipline is the ability to be productive without hesitation or distractions. The only way to build it, is to practice it. Do the things you need/want to do, regardless of how you feel in the present.
Just remember, that you always feel better after committing to yourself.
MAKE YOUR PLAN SUSTAINABLE. Your routines and habits you want to implement, need to be at arm’s length for you. While I do believe in challenging yourself if your mind perceives that specific activity as ‘too hard’, it is going to make you avoid that task.
This is a reaction from your ego coming out of your comfort zone because it is so unfamiliar it wants to protect if anything ‘bad’ happens e.g. failure, loss of control and criticism.
Reminder, that part of you is not bad at all nor is it holding you back. It is the part of you that wants to keep you safe. For your ego to allow you to do tasks out of your comfort zone, it needs to be simple and easy. Then from there, you can build it up to your ideal habit or routine.
MAKE YOUR ENVIRONMENT INTENTIONAL. Your mind, space and the people around you need to be decluttered and serve a purpose. For your mind, avoid feeding it with an overload of information especially if you are not going to apply it. Minimise social media use and journaling instead of looking for a quick fix.
Your space, specifically your bedroom has to be the best place for you to grow. Everything in your room needs to serve a purpose, it has to be kept clean to ensure mind clarity and place intentional items around to support your goals (mantras, workout mat, water bottle, instruments).
The people around you have to support you and your journey. I don’t believe in the ‘value’ or ‘worth’ people have, but rather what you think of them. Someone could be the most overachieving and productive person ever, so they may inspire you, but what if they don’t wish the best for you? People who will support you regardless are the best resource ever.
BE FLEXIBLE. The ability to edit your habits or routine when needed so you can stick to a schedule or adapt to change is a powerful but underrated skill. Anything in life can happen, but if we want to stick to our goals, we need to develop flexibility.
The best way to develop flexibility is to try everything. For example, meditation. Do 5, 10, 15, and 20 minutes, try it in the morning, afternoon or evening, do a guided one or do it by yourself. To get flexible in a habit, you need to expand your capabilities in that habit.
ALWAYS SOMETHING RATHER THAN NOTHING. Typically during the day, we procrastinate because we want the challenging task to be perfect or we believe there’s not enough time/resources to do it.
However, just having that small progress each day is always better than nothing. One sentence is better than none, one healthy meal is better than none, 2 minutes of exercise is better than none etc.
HAVE GOALS THAT YOU LIKE. The reason so many people dislike doing their habits or routines is because it’s not stuff that’s enjoyable for them. It’s habits and routines that they got online from someone completely different.
Choose your favourite way of exercising, read your favourite books(even graphic ones!) and journal the way you want. If the steps to becoming your best self are steps that you dislike, then it is not your best self.
IDENTIFY THE WAY YOU SELF-SABOTAGE. If you are struggling to implement change, chances are there are small self-destructive behaviours that are in your routines that hold you back.
This could be major procrastination, doom-scrolling, an addiction or binge eating. You either have to completely extract these habits from your life or you can do these things in moderation.
TAKE REGULAR BREAKS. If you are being productive back-to-back and not allowing yourself to cool down, your motivation will deplete quickly. Have around 1-2 hours in your day doing anything you like.
If needed, after each task, take 5-10 minutes for yourself. However, do avoid your phone for these periods and try to be present in whatever you do here.
HAVE SOFT DAYS. Days in which you do not have to do anything hardcore or intense, and you’re just living. While yes, be somewhat productive but nothing too intense.
This can be your reset, detox or self care days, or all of them combined!

And number 19 from the situations: de-aged with the Black wings?
When Graham walked into the lockerroom and discovered a literal child in Emil's stall, he kind of..
..freaked out about it big time. As in, he almost got a heart attack. "What the- who are you? And what are you doing here? Children should definitely not be in here!"
"I don't know. I'm Emil! Who are you?!
The kid couldn't be older than six years old. But still- there was something eerily familiar about him. Graham forced himself to take a deep breath, trying to think logically. He heard about stuff like this happening- people in high stress situations just reverting back to an age where they didn't have to worry about anything fundamental. As a way of the body and mind protecting itself. And apparently, that's exactly what happened to his winger. Graham could hear his teammates coming closer from the ice after morning skate, so he quickly grabbed Emil's hand and pulled him up.
"We're gonna play a little game kid. You're going to hide for a moment in the break room, and I'm gonna search for you in a bit, okay? You don't have to worry, I'll be back in a bit."
He gently sent the kid off, cringing internally at how creepy this must sound. But he thought Emil probably wouldn't want the whole team to know about that. Graham had to tell Brian at least. And the A's. Oh god why did it have to be him who found that kid.
He tried to be as inconspicuous as possible when he pulled his captain into a quiet corner, telling him briefly what happened. Brian seemed to handle the news better than he did, and reassured him that he'd take care of it and Graham should just wait a little.
So, after most of the guys cleared out of the room and basically only Brian, him, the alternates and Shawn were left, the captain cut to the chase right away.
"So, I asked you to stay because Emil somehow reverted back to a toddler, and while we need to know why that happened, we also need to make sure baby Emil has as much fun as possible. So instead of panicking now, Graham is going to get the kid and we're all going to be happy and cheerful and we're going to take him to mine and spend a day with him. And hopefully work out why this happened."
They all nodded, so Graham quickly went to the breakroom to get Emil, congratulating him on winning that awesome game. Emil was delighted. And, just like his adult counterpart, as soon as he got together with the other guys, he never. Stopped. Talking.

Writing Child or Teenage Characters:
Writing child or teenage characters requires an understanding of their unique perspectives, thoughts, and behaviors at various stages of development. Here are some tips to help you capture the essence of child or teenage characters realistically:
1. Research Developmental Stages: Familiarize yourself with the developmental stages of children and teenagers. Understand the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes that typically occur during these periods. This knowledge will help you depict characters at appropriate stages of maturity.
2. Voice and Dialogue: Pay attention to the language and vocabulary used by child or teenage characters. Their speech patterns, sentence structure, and word choices may differ from adult characters. Reflect their age and level of education in their dialogue to make it authentic and relatable.
3. Emotional Authenticity: Children and teenagers experience a wide range of emotions, and their emotional responses can be intense and sometimes unpredictable. Show their emotions through their actions, reactions, and internal thoughts. Be mindful of age-appropriate emotional depth and understanding.
4. Observational Perspective: Child and teenage characters often notice and interpret the world differently than adults. Highlight their unique observations, curiosity, and innocence. Allow them to have a fresh perspective that can bring a sense of wonder or discovery to the story.
5. Growth and Development: Portray child or teenage characters as evolving and growing individuals. Show their learning experiences, mistakes, and the lessons they learn along the way. Capture their gradual understanding of the world and their evolving sense of identity.
6. Relationships and Peer Dynamics: Explore the dynamics of friendships, peer pressure, and social hierarchies that are prevalent during childhood and adolescence. Show the influence of friends, family, and mentors on their thoughts and behaviors. Highlight the importance of relationships in their lives.
7. Hobbies and Interests: Reflect the passions, hobbies, and interests that are common among children and teenagers. These activities can shape their identities and provide opportunities for self-expression. Incorporate their hobbies into the narrative to add depth and authenticity.
8. Growth of Independence: As children and teenagers mature, they seek more independence and autonomy. Depict their struggles with authority figures, their desire for freedom, and their exploration of boundaries. Balance their growing independence with their need for guidance and support.
9. Challenges and Coming of Age: Explore the challenges and rites of passage that child and teenage characters face. Address issues such as identity formation, peer pressure, academic stress, bullying, first love, and self-discovery. Treat these themes with sensitivity and avoid trivializing or dismissing their experiences.
10. Evolving Relationships with Adults: Capture the evolving relationships between child or teenage characters and the adults in their lives. Show the shifting dynamics, conflicts, and moments of connection. Avoid portraying adults as one-dimensional authority figures or overly understanding mentors.

piarles + collarbone
sooo, i am still very much in my midnights by ts era, so my first thought upon reading this was, immediately and unabashedly, the mark they saw on my collarbone the rust that grew between telephones the lips i used to call home. ahem. i'm obsessed. anyways this one is inspired by taylor swift's maroon (except only the first, happy part of the song because i'm in my piarles feels today) ❤️
Charles wakes up slowly, his head pounding and his neck stiff and aching like he spent the night on the floor - which, he realises as he blinks and properly takes in his surroundings, seems to be exactly what he did.
Memories come back to him slowly, blurred and hazy like he's looking through a wine-stained glass: his feet in Pierre's lap, their laughter when Charles accidentally spilled a bit of wine onto his T-shirt, Pierre leaning forward with a smirk and a breathy murmur of "well, we can't waste that," and finally Pierre's lips on his collarbone.
Charles remembers his own half-moan, half-sigh at the feeling, remembers the way he had slipped his fingers into Pierre's hair and pulled, trying to drag him up his body, but with a combination of his trademark clumsiness and bad luck, he had accidentally managed to topple them both off the couch and onto the floor instead... but it hadn't mattered, none of it had mattered because Pierre was laughing, and then Charles was pushing up to kiss him and shut him up, and Pierre was kissing him back, and everything was right in the world.
Charles must have moved as he remembered, or shifted just a little too much, because Pierre groans from where he's sprawled half-under Charles, and then he's cursing and sitting up - and Charles can see the exact moment that Pierre also remembers why they are where they are, because his blue eyes widen and he scrambles back from Charles like he's been stung.
Charles is moving before he can really process the conscious decision it took to do so, one hand shooting out to wrap around Pierre's wrist and pull him back, pull him close again as Charles whispers, "Stay."
(send me a ship + a one word prompt and i will write a 5 sentence fic about it)

Ways to Skip Time In Your Stories
Finding ways to skip time in stories can feel challenging. Writers often worry it’ll make their work feel too amateur or negatively affect their pacing.
The truth is that every author includes ways they skip time to maintain their pacing and plot. Check out a few ways to do it with confidence.
1. Start a New Chapter
Yes, it’s really that simple. Go back to your favorite books and note how each chapter ends. You’ll likely find a few of these tricks that transition the story in ways that match the story’s flow.
Ideas to End a Chapter
The protagonist goes to sleep (likely overused, but practical)
The characters end a conversation
One character informs another of a plot twist
Unexpected action occurs, like a car crash
2. Emphasize the Season
You don’t need to tell the reader exact dates or hours to pass the time. You could mention the season instead.
If a scene or chapter ends in the summer and you need your plot to start in winter, make your protagonist mention something about the leaves changing color and giving way to snow before your action picks up again. It will only take a sentence or two, so it’s also an effective method for short stories.
3. Visualize a Movie Montage
Imagine watching a movie about a character who goes on a summer adventure. They backpack through Europe, but they have to take a flight to get there.
You likely wouldn’t see them standing in airport security lines, napping in a terminal or watching a full movie on their flight to their destination. Instead, you’d get a montage of them driving to the airport with a shot of their plane cruising over the open ocean.
Writers can do the same thing, minus the soundtrack in the background. Describe how your character got to their destination when a new chapter or scene starts. Your readers will get the general idea and appreciate getting straight to the plot that made them pick up your story in the first place.
Here are a few ideas to do this in just a few sentences:
One delayed flight and a bad airplane dinner later, I was walking out of the Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport with an aching back and excited heart.
My trip began with the perfect flight. I got an entire row of seats to myself, which made napping through the trip much easier. A flight attendant roused me awake when it was time to land. I couldn’t believe how fast I’d arrived in Athens that quickly.
My flight was just long enough to catch up on the movies I’d been missing over the last year. The landing gear bounced along the runway in Rome just as the Barbie credits started flashing across my iPad.
4. Showcase Some Confusion
Sometimes we aren’t aware of what time it is. We only know time has passed. That might be the best way to make time pass in your story if your protagonist gets confused, caught by surprise, or otherwise discombobulated.
These are some examples:
I woke up with a bad taste in my mouth. The sun was already peaking in the clear blue sky. How long had it been since my explosive video call with my ex the night before?
The time machine landed with a thud that knocked me to the ground. The control panel exploded in shimmering sparks. What year was it?
Working a double shift always left my brain spinning. I left work, walking across the parking lot with only the stars watching my back. I could feel the hours aching in my feet, but didn’t care what time it really was. I just needed to sleep.
5. Employ a Phrase
There are many quick phrases you can use to make your time jumps immediately clear. Consider using a few of these when you feel creatively stuck:
Later that morning
A few weeks later
After months of trying
Six hours later
The following week
As the store closed for the night
-----
There are many other ways to make time pass in a story. Starting with these could help you figure out the best way to move your story forward without disrupting its pacing.
Remember, you’re in control of your story at all times. There’s always a way through creative challenges if you take a deep breath and try something new.

if your pet was adopted from an animal shelter, and you can spare just 5 minutes of your time to make the world a little happier, do me a favor and email the shelter you adopted from with an update on how your pet is doing!
it doesn't matter if you just adopted recently or adopted a decade ago. it doesn't matter if you can only write a sentence or two, or "don't have anything interesting to say". and it doesn't matter if you've already sent an update in the past. shelter workers fall in love with our animals the same as forever-home pet owners do, but unfortunately when they leave our care, they essentially disappear overnight and without a trace! even those of us with access to adopter information only see things like your name or address, there's no reassurance that our pets ended up in a good home.
so please just write an email letting us know how loved your pet is, what their favorite toys are, if they like to play or go on hikes. you don't have to sugarcoat it if they're facing challenges either, just promise us that you're doing your best by them. and I promise you that these updates get shared around and they make our days so much better.

NBC Universal is pulling shady shit. Please consider signing the petition and helping them picket at Universal:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Image ID: A tweet threat from Katherine DiSavino from July 15th that reads in it's entirety:
I’m a WGA strike captain & lot coordinator at NBC Universal. On the 2nd week of our strike, Universal began construction on the sidewalks we were picketing on. On day 74 of our strike, they have fenced in and demolished every sidewalk surrounding Gates 1, 2, 4, and 5. (1/3)
(this tweet includes an image that reads: NBC Universal risks Picket and Public Safety. Sign the petition to demand the construction of a pedestrian lane!)
It has made picketing at Universal a challenge, and our incredible Captains and picketers have risen to that challenge every day. But enough is enough. Universal MUST install what the City, County and LAPD Labor Relations have deemed necessary: a protected pedestrian lane. (2/3)
Please sign the petition. Please share it. And please come picket with us at Universal so we can continue to make it clear that the WGA will hold this picket line no matter what. (3/3)
